And we really hope you enjoy today's episode because we worked very hard on it. Let's do that thing where we go around the table.

I'm Jason. I'm the Dungeon Master. Going around the table, starting with Brie. Hi, I'm Brianna. I play Jadzia Grace on group three, the Human Warlock. And James. Hey, James. I play Dagon the Aladdin Scion on group two. And Xavier. Hey, I'm Xavier. I play actor on this, the Revenant Cleric. And Jasper. Hey, this is Jasper. I play Merrick Ethelred, Human Cleric on group three. And Susan. Hey, I'm Susan. I play Erolove Grimnus, the Tiefling Invoker on group two. And Alex. Hey, I'm Alex. I play Braelyn, the Halfling Bard on group two. And Mac. Hey, I'm Mac. And I play Kaluna Volgares, the Wild Inchowman on group three.

And Jamie. Hi, I'm Jamie. I play Kori, Forest Keeper, a Goliath Seeker on group two. And Izzy. Hi, I'm Izzy. And I play Una, the Half-Elf Paladin on group three. I think that's everyone. Group two stepping out of this portal into the grassy field just outside of Esther Holt. You're going to see a white dragon flying above the city. Now, let's see here. Who should roll a perception check? So give me-- I was going to say probably me. Everyone, actually, in group two. Give me a perception roll. Sure. Kind of. A fucking course. Yes, finally. Everyone's going to step through.

And first thing you're going to notice is that you all appear to be fine. There were a few of you that were a little out of step with the others. Brie and Po went through, and a couple of you went through before everyone else. And then there was a slight lag. Then the rest of the party joined you, all except for Leila. Leila appears to be nowhere in sight. The next thing you're going to notice is, after-- a few seconds after the last one of you steps through, the portal's going to seal. And when it seals, this massive boom is going to go off. It sounds like an explosion.

And that is going to rip through this field, just kind of a burst of sound. You can feel the force in your chest. You are going to notice the big-ass white dragon flying above the city. Do any of us recognize this dragon? Yes. A couple of you specifically actually would recognize the dragon. That would be Dagon and Kori. Brie would also recognize the dragon. So as soon as you-- she was under the impression that the city was under attack. That's what-- that big dragon flying over the city is like, let's go. Come on. As soon as she sees Amara, she's going to-- she's going to go slack a little bit.

Like, OK, wait. That's probably not a threat. But what would Kori and Dagon's reaction be? I think, first of all, you'd probably notice that we're missing somebody. And sort of, I guess, Dagon would look over at Kori and the rest of the group. And where's Layla? Did she not step through with you? I honestly-- I wasn't paying attention. And-- but she's not here now unless she took off. But I don't know. Guess there's nothing much we can do about it. Then he turns around and looks at the huge dragon. Yeah, Kori's eyes are to the sky watching this dragon while everyone's talking about Layla, because it's been a bit since she's seen such a large majestic creature.

Does-- does actor Ona look concerned? Um, yeah, probably a little bit. But there's literally nothing they can do about it. So I don't know. And she seemed-- she seemed off in the past couple of days, too. So he probably-- like, he doesn't assume something went wrong. More like he assumes probably she did just-- she just stayed behind. Yeah, well, we know she can take care of herself. And it doesn't look like we have a way back right now. Except we-- hm? Not unless we plan to walk. Well, why walk when we could ride a dragon? Can we? He'll point to the white dragon in the sky and say, I'm pretty sure that's Amara.

You'll have to introduce me to her. Definitely. You are friends with a dragon? We've had inst-- I've met this dragon before, yes. And she was very friendly at the time. I hope nothing has changed. So the city is not under attack. So we've pretty much lost our lead on the gates. Now we're back to square one. Well, not quite. I still have this. And he'll hold up his wrist. What would be happening with the bracelet right now, Jason? Well, ever since you found the one gate and you laid hands on it, the one marker on the bracelet is lit up. Still? Yes, still. It's faded a bit, but it's still lit up.

And there's little etchings over it. So you can kind of touch each one and feel it. But it's not doing anything currently. It's not doing the pole thing or anything like that? Not right now. OK. What is Bree doing right now, Jason? Looking up at Amara, just sort of studying. And after a few seconds, she's going to turn around. I don't think she's attacking the city. Does the city look more messed up than when we left? Oh, yeah. OK. I guess there's reason for concern then. Something did happen, obviously. Considerable mess. Yeah. There's-- yeah. Just dig on and say, well, let's keep on guard anyway.

I am questioning why Amara is here, for one thing. And we don't know that there's no trouble up ahead. Bree and Po are going to start to make their way toward the city. They're just going to start to march forward. You're here anyway, so you might as well start making your way there. After a few minutes, everyone do me a favor. Roll one more perception check, please. Yeah. Ooh. Nice, nice. Po. Everyone is going to see a small band of people making their way toward you. And these don't appear to be guards or military or anything like that. It appears to be just three lone adventurers.

Erolov and Dagon are going to notice one of them bears a striking resemblance to the paladin Una that the party helped load up on the back of a horse. There also appears to be a Wilden in the party, which is a pretty rare sight. So these three individuals are making their way toward you. Just going to ask Bree if friends or foe. Actually, let's have her roll a perception check. I assume they're heading for her. Ooh, that is crap. So yeah, the other thing you're going to notice is they're not-- they are definitely not dressed-- it doesn't look like they're-- one of the big reasons you know they're not military or they're not guards or anything is they're not even in armor.

One of them is, but the other two, the Wilden and the paladin, are just sort of dressed up. The paladin specifically is wearing a pink dress, not carrying weapons, but not-- yeah, they don't look super aggressive. It must have been some party. They are too far away for Bree to see exactly who they are, but she's going to keep-- her and Poe are going to keep moving toward them. She's going to turn and say, I don't think that they're here to attack. If they are, there's only three of them. Are they coming right for us, or is it more of a coincidence? Oh, yeah.

No, they-- yeah. Your best guess is they're investigating the sound that went off when you arrived. All right. And would we recognize Una with the mohawk? More her face and the hammer type of thing. She's definitely not dressed like she was when you saw her, and the hair is different, but yeah. But I could give Bree a heads up that that's who it is. Sure, go ahead. Well, she's probably in front. I'll just call ahead. I believe that's your friend, the one you brought back. She's going to stop dead and look back to Dagon, and then try and refocus. And you guys are a little bit closer now.

And yeah, she's going to see that it's Una and just break out into a full sprint running toward her. Back to Una. This is going to tense up. Closing the gap between the two of them, Bree is not reducing speed. And she is going to dart right for Una. And if it were a larger person, making contact with someone like this would probably knock them back or maybe down. But because she's so small, she just kind of hits a wall in Una and just kind of collides with her and then wraps her arms around her and squeezes her. Yeah, yeah. The second that Bree makes contact, Una will wrap her up in a giant hug.

Poe's going to come up slower, but yeah, just kind of like a slow jog. And just kind of waves like, hey. Una will not pay attention to Poe. She is very absorbed in this hug. The little waves. With their dagger hand, they're just going to be like, oh, hey. Merrick would be beaming at Bree and Una, but I think he would reach out his hand to Poe. Yeah, Poe will lean in and shake hands. Hey, how you doing? You guys look fancy. We were at a party. Yeah, kind of a special event. It was kissing. It was gross. It was a special kiss. It was gross. It was, yeah. OK, it was fine.

There was a wedding. Poe's going to look back to the rest of the party joining him here. We thought we were rescuing people. We heard there was a dragon attacking. So yeah, apparently that's not the case. And he's going to look up to Amara. Definitely not. I mean, not that long ago, there were some dragons that appeared and we took care of everything. Esterholt kind of got a little bit of damage. We were trying to enlist the paladins to maybe help clean up. But otherwise, everything's kind of OK right now. No, Amara is just-- she was kind of part of the wedding party, to be honest.

I think Brelin will interject a little bit. He's going to look around everybody and then look back to what, at Merrick, and kind of give him a sarcastic smile. Yeah, he'll shrug. Yeah, we're doing our best. So after a few seconds, Bree's going to let go and sort of straighten up. Sorry about that. It's really good to see you again. We're all just beaming. She's super happy. Just kind of still has kind of an arm around Bree. Like, she's not necessarily letting her go yet. Not like still hugging her, but just touching. And she'll say, why are you guys here? What the hell was that noise?

And yeah, it's nice to see you too. I'm going to nudge Dagon. Well, we successfully opened a gate. Well, Bree did. And for whatever reason, we ended up here. That's really all there is to it. Bree's going to speak up. I helped open the gate, firstly. Let me introduce you guys. This is Dagon, and she's going to go down the air love, actor onus, Corey, and Braylin. Una has not really been paying attention to the group like as much because it's been mostly about Bree. But when she says air love, her eyes will kind of like narrow a little bit because the last time they met was like odd.

Air love, as soon as her name is said, will tense up. Because also, same reason. She'll see the eyes narrowing. She'll be like, I defected before the Overwatch fell. So we're on the same side now. Yay. And she's obviously tense and like this is hurting her. You know, they just kind of give her like a more chill nod and just say, yes, I remember what you've done. Well, it's good to see you. I'm glad you made it out of the retaking of Overwatch, all right? And actor onus is going to bow very low and say, I'm glad to see you look much better than the last time we saw you.

Bree will speak up. This was the party that actually helped buy me some time. Actor onus was specifically the one who bought me enough time to bring you back. He's still going to be looking down. In that case, Una will just walk over. I'm just like give him a giant hug and just say, thank you. Honestly, you have done me a great service. Give all your thanks to Brianna. The decision was all hers. All I did was give her enough time. That is very noble. It's just going to nod slightly. Una will turn back to Marek and Kaluna and say, may I introduce Marek and Kaluna?

Marek would certainly do a bow, maybe not quite as deep as actor onus, but he would bow and sort of acknowledge everyone sort of looking across the crowd of everybody and then sort of glance to Kaluna. Kaluna is sort of massaging their shoulder, sort of realizing waiting was a bad idea when they just got stabbed. And so they're going to look over at Marek, really unsure. They're going to kind of do a really awkward, very stiff bow. They clearly have no idea what they're doing. They're just going along with it. Marek's going to sort of just nod like, yeah, no, like that, kind of like that.

That's, yeah, pretty much. Kaluna will beam like, yeah, did it. Nailed it. So Marek's going to speak up and say, listen, as long as we understand that there was no particular danger, we ran out because, well, frankly, there's been a lot of things happening to Esterhold lately, and we just assumed that maybe this was another event of some sort. But if you're saying that this explosion that we heard was just your arrival, then maybe we have a better place to be right now. Maybe he'll look over at Una and Kaluna and sort of like, right, probably wouldn't be a problem to invite everyone to the festivities.

Kaluna's going to lean over and just sort of, not very quietly because Kaluna doesn't do quiet, but they're going to whisper, aren't we supposed to be dressed up for the party? They don't look dressed up. They don't have to-- yes, they would if they had been invited, but now they're being-- I'll explain it later. But it's OK. Does food and drink, everyone? Oh, absolutely. So Erleve's going to see that Una, and then in her head, she's going to be like, well, Fi isn't here, and Jodzia isn't here. Did Fi and Jodzia get married? Bree's going to look at Una.

Did they? Una's going to look like horrified for just half a second because that just doesn't work at all in her brain. Oh, god, no, no, no. It's the Valis, Valis and Jodzia. Erleve, I guess that you have a sister-in-law now. A smile will creep over Erleve's face. Well, I always wanted a sister. So everyone's going to get ready and start making their way back to the mansion. On the way, I would imagine there's maybe an awkward silence, like maybe just kind of everyone getting used to being around each other, and I'd say partway there. Bree would lean over to Una and, nice dress.

Una's going to give her a look like, oh, you fucking know I don't like this. I'm going to say, Jodzia picked it out. Yeah, I kind of figured. The bow, right? Yeah. She's going to look really sheepish. This is not what I wanted you to see me in. And then a thought's going to flash across her. You could see recognition, like, did Valis wear a suit? Erleve's face will light up, too. Did he? The biggest grin will just spread itself over Una's features. She's like, oh, yes, he did. Bree's going to start double timing it a little bit. You could notice she picked up speed just a little bit.

She wants to see this. So you guys are going to get back to the mansion here, and the explosion sound kind of cleared out a couple of guests. But everyone's pretty much still right where you left them. People are mingling and hanging out and eating and all that. Now, do you want to bring people into the living room and you guys can have more of a private conversation, or you just want to let everybody kind of hang out with everybody? I think the first thing would be to-- we basically have guests that have, for all intents and purposes, traveled a long way.

So I think the first thing is to just sort of come on in and maybe make a couple of quick introductions as they walk by a paladin we know or something or whatever, and then make sure people have food and drink, to be honest. Sort of like get settled, get sorted, get oriented, and then sort of show everybody into the house. Is there music playing? Oh, yeah. Oh. Well, I'm going to look at Brelin and say, as soon as they finish their number, it's why don't you give it a try, Brelin? Brelin will smile, look at his buddy, nod very quickly, and whip out the lute and kind of sneakily make his way to whoever the musicians are.

Oh my god, wait, have we missed their first dance? I would say they noticed you left after a few minutes. They probably put that on hold. Like, it's one of those things where it's like, well, I guess they'll be back in a second. But they didn't hear any explosion or anything. So that would be-- Of course we didn't. Yeah, no, because the least perceptive couple in all of things-- Is that why you're not there? Just because you're rolled poorly? Yes. Yeah. Both of them-- Both got twos. Both of them rolled a two. Yeah. It's kind of adorable. It is their wedding. I get it.

Yeah. Yeah. We do need to sort of take care of business here. There's something about a first dance. And let's take care of that, and then we'll have everybody sort of settled and sorted and rest if you need to, or get you some more food. Oh, don't worry about us. I'm great with celebrations. I will take care of the introducing myself to the guests. Thanks. You may. And I will do the long version of my introduction to everyone. So three days later. Yeah. While there is music playing and everyone's mingling, it doesn't appear as though they've actually formally done their first dance or anything like that.

That's all kind of been put on hold after they realized half of the party is gone. So if you guys want to fill them in, that's cool. If you guys want to just continue on-- Let's give them some signal that, no, it's all fine. We were just checking out something. I don't want to get into the way of their special time at the moment. We'll fill them in a little bit. Yeah. Don't put taint on everything by being like, oh, let's just do like 35 introductions. Don't say taint. Don't say taint. Taint. So let's do this. So Braylon has joined with the band here. What song is going to be the song that plays while Jadstein Vowels have their first dance?

Oh. Braylon's going to get the loot. He's going to start whispering to the band members like, And they're going, oh, OK. I assume they agree with me. Then I go up front and I start a real slow chord. And then I sing. Turn around, every now and then I get a little bit lonely and you're never coming round. And I wait to see people. Roll a perception check. Actually, you know what? Let's see how well you play this song. Let's do that. OK. Don't mess up their first dance, yo. What am I doing? Is there singing or am I rolling something? Let's just do a raw charisma check.

See how charismatic you are. All right. Now, charisma. And I need you more tonight. OK. 25. That is great. I fall in love. Oh, yeah. There is romance in the air. As soon as Braylon takes the stage, oh my god. Yeah. This is a moment, everyone. All right. You want me to keep going? You don't have to keep singing it, but I mean-- I mean, finish the song. I mean, yeah. Let's go. Three and a half minutes later. Oh. Yeah. So I would say that Valis and Jadzia are-- they're having their first dance. Now, a cruel DM would have both of them roll to see how well they dance. That's just mean.

Oh, no. Let's not do that. I was going to say there is something in Jadzia's backstory that she would be good at dancing. There is nothing in Valis that says he would. So she can lead. Good. Yes, that's probably for the best. So they have their first dance, and it's this great moment, and they're kind of lost in each other's eyes, and they're not really paying attention to too much that's going on here in the party. The point in the song where everybody else starts dancing, you know? It's a weird thing they do at weddings, where it's like the couple starts dancing, they dance for like a minute, and then everyone else starts dancing.

Una will ask Brie to dance. Aw. Brie's going to be a little shocked at this, because the last interaction that Una and Brie had wasn't cold, but they weren't-- that wouldn't be the natural reaction. It's like, oh, yeah, we're going to dance at this wedding. That wouldn't be her first thought. But yeah, she'll get over that shock pretty quickly, and yeah, she'll take Una's hand and start dancing with her. So Una's mom was a prostitute, so Una knows how to dance like a motherfucker, and it's awesome. Not as good as Jadzia, but close. Brie's dad was a lumberjack, not a lot of dancing.

Like, jigging. So yeah, not really. I should imagine now, like, Brie's doing, like, the bus driver, but it's the lumberjack, and she's just pretending to chop wood. Meanwhile, Una's just, like, dancing on a pole next to her. So romantic. And please. I feel like that describes their relationship very well. I think Kaluna's going to lean over to Merrick and ask, what are they doing? Merrick's just going to grab Kaluna and just try to get them to dance. It's going to be horribly awkward, but it's just going to be ridiculously fun. You got it. You got to tell them to do the step.

Two, three, one. I'm kind of imagining it's going to be like-- you know, whenever you see wedding videos and there's-- They're teaching the kid how to dance. Yeah, there's a little kid, like, standing on the person's feet. You know, like, it's going to be like that kind of a thing. Kaluna is better than that. Kaluna is literally three feet taller than you, so they're just brushing your feet. It's fine. It's like, it's that kind of feel, right? Yeah. It's just-- there's no real dancing happening. They're better than that. They're smart. They can pick it up better than a child.

I want to roll to see how well Kaluna dances. When do I roll to see how well Kaluna dances? Well-- Dexterity. Blusher. Let's see here. This would be something that Kaluna's trying for the first time, right? Yes. So let's see how quick on the uptake Kaluna would be. So roll an intelligence check. Oh, OK. Smart dancing. Oh, yeah. Fuck, Kaluna is cutting it up. That's almost a crit. Kaluna fucking-- Kaluna gets it. Like, yeah, Kaluna's on it. Kaluna immediately starts teaching Mary Kaluna. Exactly. Rhythm is a dancer. And it's named-- There are dips and shit. Kaluna. So this is going to-- this is going to go on for a few minutes.

And again, Phallus and Jadsey are kind of lost in each other right now. They're not really paying attention to everything that's going on with all the guests. And after the song stops, the regular kind of like, OK, now everyone just kind of have fun music kicks in. And Braidlin, what would be the fun kind of everybody on the dance floor type song that you'd sing that kind of-- it's like, OK, enough of this romance stuff. Let's all just have fun. I think he would probably bust out some Guns and Roses, Sweet Child of Mine. OK. After the-- OK, let's have Phallus and Jadsey a roll a perception check.

Let's get this embarrassment over with. OK, here we go. Perception. Holy shit. Wow! Phallus is twice the percent-- it's because he's looking for people who are making fun of him for dancing. Yes. That's-- Fuck you up for laughing. Phallus is going to scan the party after this is all done. Because it's more like, he's not really-- like, the-- OK, we got to do this dance thing. But then I'm getting off the dance floor, because I'm not-- I'm not really about that. So he's getting ready to do that. And he's going to spot Air Love immediately. Air Love has a huge smile on her face, because she saw how happy they were dancing with each other, like, gazing into each other's eyes.

There's, like, tears, like, welled up in her eyes, not streaming down her face. But she just looks so happy. She's just standing there, though. He's-- OK, he's excited to see Air Love, and then realizes this is the worst possible time for her to have walked in. Her smile, while it was just, like, that super happy smile, now it's turning into, like, an amused smile, because she realizes that he's probably uncomfortable that she saw that. And she'll start walking towards him. Is-- [LAUGHS] Phallus is going to-- Phallus is going to reach out and hug Air Love.

And he's obviously very happy to see her and everything. It's just the timing of it could have been better. Like, he never dresses up and never puts himself out there like that. And that's the moment she walks in. But yeah, he is very happy to see her. Air Love returns to hug. And while they're hugging, she'll say, you look so happy. I'm so happy for you. You know, crying because she hasn't seen him in a long time, and he looks super happy. And you look really good in a suit, and then she'll-- but obviously in amusement and, like, chuckle a little bit. He's going to grumble a little bit, as he always does.

And he's going to try immediately to deflect any of that, and then just point over to Jadzia. You remember Jadzia, right? She'll wipe tears from her eyes and look over at Jadzia. Yeah, I do. You do really look great together. I really am happy for you. Jadzia was like-- as they walked over, she was holding his hand, but then when she saw who it was, like, she kind of held back maybe like two steps, not noticeably, just a little bit, because she wasn't-- like, she realizes this is a bad situation for-- not because Vals is all dressed up, but it's like, hey, your family showed up.

We didn't-- oops. [LAUGHTER] Not that that was my fault. I didn't know anything about this, but-- Not like you could find any of us, except Tessia. Yeah. Don't tell your mom. Don't be a bitch. [LAUGHTER] But then she will walk up beside them and nod her head, like, thank you so much. We would have invited you if there had been more time. I'm glad you're here. You probably wouldn't have been able to find me, but I'm glad I'm here. I really am. And she takes both your hands. She's like, I am so happy for both of you. And she gives you both the squeeze on the hand and lets go.

Oh, thanks. And then wipes more tears from her eyes. [LAUGHTER] Vals is going to take a second, and then-- not that I'm not happy to see you, but how did you know to show up? Well, as much as I would have loved to come here for your wedding, this was kind of an accident. [LAUGHTER] Jadzia, you know of the gates. We traveled here through one right outside of Esterholt. Not sure if you heard the explosion, but that was us coming through. What explosion? Yeah. Vals is going to look at Jadzia. He's like, you heard an explosion? Jadzia's going to shrug. We're horrible people. [LAUGHTER] Horrible at noticing things.

OK, so I do know-- Darmok's journals went into detail about these, didn't he? A little bit, yeah. I remember that. So-- well, they work. That's cool. Which portal did you come from? We came through the gate and the Evergreen, Bree. And she points over to Bree, who's dancing with Una now. [LAUGHTER] Yes, please point to that. I want Jadzia to see. Yeah. She'll point. Oh, yeah. Vallas would want to see that, too. She points over to Bree, and she's like, she-- along with my friend Dagon, and she'll point to Dagon-- open the gate together. And we ended up here somehow.

When Jadzia sees that Una and Bree are dancing with each other, she is going to beam like a motherfucker. She is so pleased by that. But then she'll quickly turn away so that Una won't see her doing that, because she doesn't want to get in trouble. Everyone, do me a favor. Roll a perception check, please. Hey, and the legend continues. Oh, wow. Crip line. Yep, back to my ways. Oh, hey, Braelyn. Yeah. Look at that. Right back. Yep, back to normal. Wowza. Holy Lord. OK. Too involved in my music, that's why. Whew. Those are some bad rolls. OK. Merrick, Dagon, Erolove, Una, Kaluna, Corey, and Bree are going to hear something.

They're going to hear a voice shout, you son of a bitch. And then they're going to hear a lot of clattering. And everyone who heard that looking that way is going to see Craig standing over the body of Poe, who apparently just punched the shit out of him. And Craig is going to be shouting, get up. Poe's going to look fucking shocked. Like, what the hell is happening? He's going to look completely like a Gog. He did not expect that. This sounds like a wedding for sure. It's going to sound like family drama. Can I break that shit up? Yeah. As soon as Merrick hears any sort of commotion, he's going to start reaching over to break up any fights.

This would be expected at a wedding or where there's a lot of fightery people drinking. So he would just be on the ready. Kaluna is definitely assisting. Yeah, this isn't so much a fight. It's just someone got hit. You're going to hear chairs kind of get knocked around and stuff as Poe hits the ground. Yeah, Una would run over for sure and get between them and start chastising Craig. And not in that voice, not yelling, but that voice was like, do you know what the fuck you're doing? This is a fucking wedding. Like that voice. He'll fire right back. You said he was a coward.

That was-- I did not have all the information. You fucking-- you are making a scene at my best friend's wedding. And he's going to look down at Poe. Fine. You go in the fucking kitchen and I'll bring Poe and we'll talk this out. And he's going to lean in. Fine. Like just, again, just very aggressive though. Like he's very angry and he needs to hit something to get that out. But he'll stomp away to the kitchen. Almost stomping on Poe as he walks by, but not quite. Talyn will start fixing the chairs. Merrick will do a heel check real quick on Poe. Yeah, he's just-- he's just sore.

Meanwhile, you're going like, thanks for coming. Get baskets on the table. I'm going to put your knee back where it belongs, OK? Real quick, real quick. This is going to hurt. I want you to-- I want you to bite down on this piece of wood. Cooling an extensive finger. Hey, Merrick, crit. Yeah, gorgeous. The best feeling. I took parabec cancer while I was out at-- Right. You had a tumor, did you know? It was a cancer. Yeah, besides him just-- so Poe's going to be rubbing his jaw, but not like-- he's going to be looking to-- what the hell was that? She's going to give him a look like, oh, like that look where it's like, I may have fucked something up.

Just really sheepish and kind of like smiling, like, hey, don't worry, we'll sort this out. Come with me. Poe's going to get up, still kind of bewildered, what the hell is happening? And he is going to join Una in the kitchen. Is anyone else-- does anyone see this and just sort of like, hey, let's check that out? Valus honestly probably would. Clearly I don't. Neither does Brelin. After you see half the party run over there, you-- yeah, I would say the rest of the party kind of gets clued in. I'd probably see it as entertainment. [LAUGHTER] Losers. Yeah, Gen Z would go over when she was aware it was being a thing.

So everyone's going to join these two in the kitchen. And ooh, I got to do one more thing. Shit, OK. Julie's also going to notice that there was a commotion and that Craig seems to be in the middle of it. And she is going to take an interest and follow-- follow the party in here. Kaluna's going to stand close to Merrick and mad dog Julie the entire time. No breaking of the eye contact, just staring. As soon as she gets in the room, what the hell is happening? Do I actually explain this? Really? Clearly looking at-- clearly looking at Una, just kind of like what-- what-- yeah, what's going on?

Craig is seething looking at Po, by the way. Una will kind of ignore Julie. Like, she doesn't feel the need to have any explanations to Julie whatsoever. But she'll look at Craig and say, OK, calm your shit, OK? It's not as bad as I thought. There have been changes. Like? It's fine. He's not a traitor. He's not a coward. Po's going to look at Una. You told him I was a coward? You did an excellent impression of one. When did you tell him that? A while ago. Just kind of like looking down, like, what? Sorry. Specifically what time a while ago? I don't remember. She said you pissed yourself.

Like, very gruff, like, very aggressive. Una's going to look like-- like, just, like, beet red. Like, oh, god. Oh, fuck. It's going to look terrible with her dress. Po is going to look down immediately. OK. I took a dive in a fight with her so that I could keep my cover in the Overwatch. That's the only reason. Otherwise, I would have fist fought her, and everything would have been fine. We would have saw who won. But no, I didn't-- yeah, no, no. And he's getting, like, hyper defensive now. And Craig's just sort of narrowing his eyes at Po. Tell him what I did.

Tell him what happened after that. So Una will, like, back him up. Like, she'll jump to his defense. No, no, seriously. He had to do that. It turns out he was a spy for the White Ravens. He was in Overwatch risking his life every day to give him information. He has earned-- he has earned his paladin status. He is not a coward. I was operating on incorrect information, albeit it seemed pretty correct at the time. Um, Bree's actually going to speak up. He was actually working with us. Yeah, that's 100% true. As soon as Bree speaks up, Julie's going to notice she's in the room.

Una, do me a favor, roll a perception check. If she fucking touches her. OK, 21. That's not bad. That'll be just enough to see the look that you-- like, instantly Julie tightens up. Like, motherfucker. Like, that's-- that's the look. Like, you know it. You've seen it 1,000 times from people. Craig's going to loosen up and-- a bit-- like, still kind of like-- still kind of angry, but just-- oh, well then. Just that kind of, like, there's nowhere for that anger to be anymore. And he's going to reach out and shake Poe's hand. Well, then I'm sorry. I-- yeah. Just very awkward.

Just very-- and Poe's going to, like, reach out, like, kind of slowly and then grasp Poe's hand, and they're going to shake. Julie's going to step forward toward Bree. And right about that time is where Bree's going to notice Julie's in the room, and she's going to tighten up. OK, Una will purse off between them. Like, kind of like-- like, gently, like, holding onto Bree, just kind of like-- not push her behind her, but just, like, step in front of her. Definitely put a barrier between her and Julie. Julie's going to be mildly annoyed at this. Get out of the way, Una.

I'm not here to protect her. I'm here to protect you. She can blow your head off more easily than you can blink. Yeah, I'm aware. Actor Onis is actually going to chuckle from the back of the room to whoever hears it and is just going to say, like, remind me not to get invited to a court wedding. Julie's going to take a second and say, look, I wasn't going to hurt her. I just wanted to talk to her for a minute. Una will look over her shoulder at Bree, like, do you want me to leave? Do you want me to give you guys a minute? Do you want me to make her shut up?

Bree's just going to hold up her hand, like, no, no, no, I got this. It's fine. Just one second. Look, I'm sorry I threatened you. That wasn't right. At the time, I didn't see any other way. I didn't see any other way to bring her back. Julie is-- wasn't expecting an apology to begin with. After a second, due to recent events, let's just-- let's just put it behind us for now, all right? And she's actually going to hold her hand out to shake Bree's. Bree's fists were actually clenched up until just this second. She was expecting a fight. But she'll loosen up, and then she's going to shake Julie's hand.

Bree's going to speak up after another little awkward silence here. I think we're on our way somewhere soon, but would it be all right if we maybe stayed in an extra room or two and caught some sleep for the night? This would be addressed to Jadzia, mostly, because it's her house. And people so often take liberties with Jadzia's house. Yeah, they do. Do we know, does a group know that this was Darmok's house? Was it known? Let's see here. Let's have-- I remember we discussed that last time we were in an extra room. Yeah. I think it was more table talk. It was probably like, there's a big house in the background.

Oh, well. Yeah, it was something like that. Let's do this. So Dagon's obviously-- the whole party's been through here. But let's roll a history check to see what you guys would know about this house in particular. Well, fuck. That doesn't make much sense. Ha. Hey, Erla, what's up? I like these floorboards. Yeah, I like the blood stains. They really add to it. Ooh, it's got a furnished basement. Oh, his body just fell out of the water. Oh, those are just the floors. Yeah. Actor Onus, Dagon, and Brelin are going to know whose house this used to be, like this to belong to.

I assume for me it's a lucky guess. So Dormak lived here for quite a while. So this isn't-- I mean, this could be knowledge that any of you could have stumbled across, or just kind of knew. Because there's always that one house in the neighborhood that's like, oh, don't go near that house. If you even visit Esterhold, it's kind of-- it's one of those things you find out quick. So just look at Jadzia and say, I guess Dormak is no longer an inhabitant of this home. On my wedding day, too? You don't know. But it's like-- we don't know that. This is your second husband.

Jadzia's going to be a little bit prickly, like when she just hears the name. Because it's like, come on. Don't remind me right now. But then very quickly, she's just going to go, Dormak's dead. This is my house now. Our house. And she's like, the way she says that, that's not like a romantic, like, oh, our house, baby. It's like, well, yours too, I guess, whatever. Yeah. I guess you would pick up on sort of where she was going with that. Or should I roll for that insight? Roll insight. Terrible insight. Yeah, you do. Yeah, you're not picking up on that. Dormak, he was a cool guy.

So would he just move or something? Like, is he in town? Ready to dress? She did say he was dead, but not natural causes. So peacefully in his sleep, I'm guessing. He'll just say, huh, well, that's too bad. Right about this time-- [LAUGHTER] Sorry. No one's going to say anything about what they've done. Hitler died? Oh, that's too bad. I'm sorry for your loss, Anne Frank. Right about this time, Sheldon is going to come sprinting from behind Jadzia and scamper across the kitchen floor here and then start slapping at Dagon's leg. So from out of nowhere, like, wasn't visible a second ago, then just says, hah, and just starts to kind of beat on Dagon's leg like a bongo drum.

Can I step on him? Yeah, I think-- Did Jadzia react like every woman whose dog starts huffing someone? Like, no, no, down, down. He's going to get force kicked in a sec. [LAUGHTER] Splat. Well, there's one power I can't use anymore. [LAUGHTER] What the hell is this? I'll sort of be shaking my leg. Could Jadzia, like, pick up-- like, Sheldon has, like, a shell, which is why he's called Sheldon, because she'd just pick him up by that. Sure. He does way much. Get him off, and then she'll just kind of toss him in the corner, knowing that he'll probably land on his feet and go, go lie down, something like that.

Like, she treats him like a dog, straight up, like, a dog slash toddler. She'll be like, I'm so sorry. It's an interesting choice of pets. Thales is going to kind of grumble, he's not a pet. He's kind of a pet. Jadzia's not going to say that loud, but her face kind of, like, is like, ah! Like, everyone else hates Sheldon, but Sheldon has never done anything to Jadzia. I mean, yeah, he wrecks her house, but so does Una, and so does, like, everyone in this room has wrecked her house at some point. Excuse you. Well, pick up all these flower petals. You dug a bunch of holes in my backyard, actually.

That was at someone's request. You dug too many, which is weird, because we had a lot of horses. Taluna likes playing in the dirt. Let them be. Jadzia will just nod, be like, we have plenty of room. So you're all more than welcome. Can Kori sort of step up and just put her little finger in the air, like, do you have suitable accommodations for everyone? Sort of like hinting at the fact that I don't want to break anything, since your house seems important to you. Taluna's going to look down at Brelin. Do we have anything small enough? Brelin will look up. Jason, do we have giant beds and teeny beds?

Or three little bears with bowls of porridge? Dharmak's room had a big bed in it. Wasn't really big lengthways, but if Kori laid, like, diagonally on it, like, yeah, sure, she would fit. Don't look under the mattress. Yeah. Po would almost speak up and just almost like gesture, just like, yeah, Goliath. Almost like, check that shit out. Like, isn't that neat? Kori is really big for, like, Jadzia. I'm sure for Valus, it's not as bad, but for Jadzia, it's like, hey, there's some cool elbows you got there. Valus is 6' 9", so Kori still towered over Valus. Yeah, I'm 8 feet tall.

Yeah. When Po sort of is making those gestures, like, oh, hey, Goliath, she's going to noticeably get embarrassed because she's never really been around this many people, like, at this party, and she sticks out. So she's kind of sticking near Kaluna, even though they don't know each other, but because they're both different, she's like, well, I'll just stand over here on this wall. Kaluna will sort of look up at Kori and kind of be like, eh, weird, not really, because they're used to things that are bigger than them significantly. Cool. At this point, Una will look over at the group who has shown up and just say, where are you planning on going?

That's a good question. Bree would kind of look down at that point, kind of hoping to slip that by, just like, OK, can we stay? Don't ask questions. I'm pretty sure it was decided that we were heading into the swamp to see the witch. Kaluna's going to perk up like, ooh. Yeah, Una's head is going to shoot towards Merrick. Please, yeah, Merrick has to be drinking tea at that point and does a little bit of a choking spin it take. You are holding up your pinky, right? Well, yeah, of course. He's not a fucking heathen. He's a werewolf, not a monster. Exactly. Kaluna will slap his back like, no, you're OK.

You're OK. He immediately starts doing the highlick from Poodoo. Overreacting to everything. Pounding on his chest, thrown to the ground. No, he would be momentarily like, whoa, OK, shocked. Interesting. And yeah, he would glance to both Kaluna and Una as well. And then actually to Jadzia. We're all just looking at like, we're all furious. I know. Well, I mean, the thing is, Merrick wouldn't say anything because I don't think he would want everybody just to know all of the stories about what's going on. So it's like, that's interesting. Like, that's a very interesting coincidence.

And also, I don't really know what to do about that. Everyone starts sweating profusely. Jadzia will-- let's see, what's my bluff before I get started here? OK. Jadzia will immediately just stop. She'll look over at Merrick very quickly, then look to the group. And then we have a common destination. I needed to go there for research. That's all I'm going to say. Do me a favor, roll a bluff check. 21. 21. OK, that's not terrible. Take a check of passive insight, right? Yeah, check your raise passive insight. That's 25. Mine is 19. Oh, fuck. Arlo, don't be a snitch.

You'll get stitches. We didn't fight together, so I'd probably just take note of it. It was vague enough that anyone who does notice could just be like, what? Bree is just going to react like, oh, that's weird. Like, OK, do you want to join us then? I mean, if you're going anyway, it might help to have more people. I mean, if that's all right with you guys. And she's going to look back to the other party. Una will nod vehemently. If Bree is going somewhere that dangerous and they end up going the same place, then she wants to be there. John C.O. will take Valis' hand and give it a little squeeze.

So honeymoon? Valis is not excited about this, but he'll give her hand a squeeze and just sort of nod. Yeah, this is the last one. Fine, this is it. So more people might be a good thing. He's just not sure if he can trust anybody except for Arlo. Kalluna is going to look excited, but also sort of anxious. They're trying to cover up the anxiety with like, yeah, more people. For the more, the merrier. Super cool. Oh, god. I think this would make Merrick a little anxious only because there's a lot at stake for him. He's sort of come to terms with trusting the people who are planning on helping him.

And he was not expecting to potentially put other people in danger. So just all those things are going on in his head. Nothing, no action to take, but it's a little complicated for him. Kalluna would look at Dagon for confirmation, like, is this OK for all these weirdos to join with us? But he wouldn't say that. He'd just look at him. Well, we're going to need as many people as we can if we plan on killing her. Is that something that Merrick heard? I would say everyone heard that. Yeah, I said it to everyone. I mean, that was the plan, right? Yeah. We more just wanted to know what the hell she wants.

Like, killing her wasn't exactly-- I thought, yeah, I thought it was implied because it was sort of like, well, this is where my thing started, and it's probably going to end there. Well, let's find out what she wants, but let's be prepared for the worst. So OK, Dagon saying that, what would Group 3's reaction be to that? Kalluna will look kind of a little more genuinely excited. Like, holy shit, killing things. Jodzia will-- well, let me put it this way. Can I do some sort of check to know if I had the materials to do whatever could help Merrick, could I do it, or do we need the witch?

I feel like we need the witch. You don't know what you need is the problem. Yeah. You need information at the least. Right. Yeah, I think-- I'd rather not kill her immediately. Yeah. Are you voicing that out loud? I mean-- I think you'd be agitated. Not angry, but just like, uh-uh, uh-uh, uh-uh. Kalluna will grab his hand and sort of give it a squeeze, and they'll speak up, sort of sobering up a little bit and be like, should we just kill her? Isn't it bad to just kill people you don't know? I was going to say, Brelin's going to be like, oh, no, we know her.

We don't. Me-- meh. Kuna will chime in and be like, look, we need to talk to her. We need information. We need her not to be dead for now. Once we figure out what we need to figure out, once we do what we need to do, then she can die. Well, I hope you have some to pay her with, because she's got a pretty steep cost for whatever it is you're going to ask her. Kory's going to sort of speak up tentatively and say-- and make sure you really want to know what she has to say before you ask her, because it might not be what you want to hear. I also try to be clear with her.

She speaks in riddles, and sometimes she tends to try to manipulate the people she's talking to. And he just looks at Kory for a little moment. She'll make eye contact and then sort of throw her eyes to the ground. Kuna's going to like give him a look, just between actor Kurnus and Kory, just clearly recognizing that there's something going on between them about the witch. But she's going to make the conscious decision not to ask about it. And she'll say, we have experience with blood magic. We know about that. Don't worry. Kalluna's going to visibly shudder.

After a few seconds, Bree's going to speak up. So I guess we get some rest and head out in the morning. So yeah, Merrick would-- he's going to sort of nod and say, yep, good idea. And I think he's going to sort of leave the room pretty quickly. Like, I think he's a little-- not feeling good about how people were talking about stuff. I think he's starting to feel some cracks in the surface a little bit. So he's going to take-- he's going to sort of go get ready for whatever-- for bed or whatever it is, whatever time it is. But we haven't gotten crunk yet.

Yeah, wait, the party's still going on. Yeah, I was going to say-- I was going to say, yeah. What time of day roughly is this? The party will be winding down eventually here. Like, that's one of those things where, you know, as the party starts to wind down, everyone just gets ready and goes home. The food's running out. You know, like, the important event is kind of over. Are we, like, filtering out of the room now? Yeah, I would say that, yeah. Merrick's kind of gone up to his room. He's hanging out. He's just-- he's just taking some time alone, maybe meditating or something.

Kaluna's still mad-dogging Julie. Now that Merrick's gone, they're still just like, leave. Let's see if Julie notices this, because that's happened a bunch. It wouldn't be hard. I feel like Kaluna's not trying to keep that at sea. Yeah, Kaluna is not subtle. Yeah, yeah, Julie would notice, like, almost of, like, watts. Eventually, it's like, OK, I see you. What? Kaluna's just-- they're not going to say anything. They're just going to sort of sneer at her. It's more of a snarl, but sneer works. Just sort of flashing some teeth at her. When it becomes apparent that Kaluna's not going to say anything, Julie's just-- just almost rollerized, just like, ugh.

Like, not a threat or anything. Just-- just-- it's like, all right, whatever. Just have fun. Keep staring. I don't care. Kaluna is going to do some sort of obscene wilding gesture. I don't know what it would be. But they're going to just do something, and then they're going to go find wine or something. At a tree. OK, Una will, like, look over at Bree and say, hey, hey, wait up a second. And then she'll go find Jadzia and Bellis. Bree will stay put. And I would imagine Jadzia and Bellis didn't leave each other's side. Like, they're still-- Yeah, they don't do that.

I imagine, like, after the whole thing's over, like, they do go out back-- I don't-- well, the party's winding down, so I don't know where exactly they'd go. Like, I guess just back outside. And Jadzia will kind of give them a look like, well, what did we expect to happen? Kind of thing, where it's like, you know, like, in the office when they look at the camera, and they're like, meh, meh. That kind of look, like, eh, we tried to have a party. That was dumb of us. Of course someone got punched. So yeah, Una will find Bellis and Jadzia and just give them individually wrapped little boxes.

And say, this is for me. Please don't open it in my presence, because I'll vomit. Jadzia will just nod, like, well, of course, yes. And she'll say thank you. Bellis is going to open his immediately. What a fucker. What a cunt. As soon as Una sees him, like, opening the thing, she'll like-- she's like, ugh. And just like-- Jadzia will chuckle a bit. And then as soon as Una's locked away, she'll start to open hers as well. So what is inside these boxes? So I described it last session, but I guess I have to do that shit again, because we have people here. We've guessed.

I don't know. So Bellis has a manly-looking locket that has a picture of Jadzia inside of it. And Jadzia has a feminine-looking locket that has a picture of Bellis inside of it. That's super sweet. I guess Jadzia would immediately, like, get Bellis to put hers on for her, because she can, like, pull her hair aside, and he can snap it. And if he would lean down, she'll put-- she'll put his on him, if he wants to. I'm not sure if he actually wants to wear it. Oh, yeah. I believe Bellis doesn't wear a shirt. So if he wears it, everyone, including Una, will see.

So-- Yeah. But I mean, he does-- at this point, it's fine. Again, this is their last-- this is their last thing they're going to do with the group. It's just-- like, let's just-- yeah, it's fine. Besides, his thing with Una is pretty wrapped up. Like, they're on good terms. I also just realized, like, the size of a fucking necklace that would fit Bellis would be like a belt on Jadzia. All right, so people are-- people are kind of adjourning to their rooms. Things are-- things are starting to wind down for the day. I would imagine Julie and Craig can take care of the guests and usher them out and everything.

They-- they would kind of step in and see, like, OK, you guys got things to do. We're going to-- we're going to take care of this. Kalluna's nursing a bottle of wine. [CHUCKLES] I think Brelyn would be hiding food in his pack. He would be, like, going to the tables, talking to people. Oh, yeah, great. And then stuffing food in his backpack. Oh, can I see if Kalluna would see him doing that? Sure, if you want. Roll a perception. Boop. Well, OK, is this something that Brelyn's trying to hide? Ah, he doesn't know how to do that. He's not very good at hiding. I was about to say, I don't-- Yeah, he's very terrible at it.

He's openly doing it. So then, yeah, I guess you'd see. Kalluna's going to see him. He's going to see him doing that. And they're going to be like, you're a genius. And they're going to start stealing food too. Even though it was completely free for everybody. Mostly kids. Yeah. Mostly. I love it. [LAUGHTER] Have as much as you want. Big Kalluna lives here. So if she left-- Exactly. If they left it, like, they'd still have it. But no. Isn't it-- wouldn't it be great to think that all of this time, Kalluna has been going into the kitchen stealing food every day, like, instead of just eating like everybody else? [LAUGHTER] They think they wouldn't.

They think they're getting away with something, but, like, everyone knows. You do it too. Like, she walks in on Jesse and making a sandwich. Or they walk in with Jesse and making a sandwich. And like, oh my god, I thought I was the only one. [LAUGHTER] I thought it was for display. [LAUGHTER] Can dig on-- Kiss her. --table one on one with three for a second. Sure. Please do that. Buy me some time. OK. [LAUGHTER] I'll just take her aside, just sort of out of years reach from everyone. I don't know what that other group is up to and why they need to see the witch.

But you know as well as I do that someone is going to end suffering from this. I also don't think it's a good idea for you to just waltz in there and have your one on one. I think if we have an opportunity, we should take her down. Well, I got to believe if they want to go see the witch that they have a good reason. I don't think they're just looking for trouble. I also don't think attacking her is the right call if we don't have a reason to. I'd like to at least find out why she wants me. [SIGH] I was honestly hoping we'd really never have to go back and see her, but-- What exactly did she say when she told you to come find me?

She just said she wanted to. I asked she wouldn't tell me what-- why. And I just told her she'd get her sigh on. But like I said, I was ready to give myself up. Well, look, we'll find out what it is together. And I've never seen you fight, but there's some pretty powerful people here. I got to imagine if it does come down to it, then we'll do what needs to be done. You can tell she's trying to make you feel a little better about the situation, like just try to put your mind at ease. And maybe she's doing that for herself a little bit too. Yeah. All right.

I'm going to follow your lead on this one. But if it starts going downhill, we all need to act. All right. I agree. I guess at that point, he's just going to say his good night and just go find a place to sit down. So Una wanted to-- Una wanted to talk to Brie. Yeah. Because I feel like they have unspoken words. Kind of. Well, but because last time I talked, I'm pretty sure it was just like, hey, get your shit together. Pretty much. Yeah. It's like, I'll see you when I see you get your shit together. And then left. That was pretty much it. Yeah. So here's a question.

And this is something where, like, it's like, yeah, we're going to get ready and we're going to find a room. And then she would kind of mill about a bit, clearly kind of waiting to see what was going to happen. Yeah. So when Una finds Brie after her talk with Dagon, she'll just like, take her hand and just like, lead her to her room. Chadzia, do me a favor, roll a perception check. Okie dokie. I don't know why you expect this to go any differently than usual, but-- I'm just curious. Okay, nevermind. Yeah. Nevermind. Keep looking into Valus's eyes like you've been doing all fucking day.

Plus two for effort. Um, yeah, Brie will follow. Brie will follow Una. What was that perception check for? I wanted to see if Jett's a Saw. Yeah. Una will like, like, sit her down on the bed. Like, just like, just sit. Because she doesn't know how to go about this very well. Um, and she'll say, look, um, I acted like an ass the last time we talked. And I'm gonna, gonna have to blame a little bit of that on my existential crisis. But also, part of the blame goes for me being absolutely fucking terrified of loving anything. And it just kind of like, frees up like, I don't know how to do the rest of this.

Brie's gonna, Brie's gonna smile again, just a little taken aback. But at this point, she kind of gets where this is going. Look, I was going through some stuff too. And I didn't, I was upset that I missed the big fight in the city. I, I didn't have my powers for a while. I didn't have a place in any group or anywhere. And I probably could have handled things better too. I was a little mopey. And yeah, so it's, it's fine. Um, Una will sit down on the bed next door and say, "Okay, do I have to say the rest of this stuff or can we just kiss now?" Brie would actually lean in and kiss Una first.

Fuck yeah. The second Una sits down. Like, okay, done. I'm, I'm, no talk. Solid. Making the fuck out. Um, actor just wanted to talk to Julie real quick. All right, so he's, he's just gonna go right to her and, talking softly, just not to make it a public conversation, but I was gonna say, I, I, I couldn't help but overhear that you were present for the Paladin's resurrection. Um, Brie and Una are in your debt, but I'm, I'm surprised that Paladin of Kord would bring back someone who fell in glorious battle. Something's been upsetting me, troubling me since.

And you've seemed pretty upset yourself. Um, may I ask what happened? Julie's gonna fold her arms. Yeah, well, uh, that wasn't exactly the plan. I didn't plan on bringing Una back. We were actually gonna bury her and give her the full ceremony and... I, I spoke with Brie, um, as she brought Una's body back to Esterhold. I tried my best to convince her to do what you just said, to the proper ceremony. And I was pretty sure I, um, I worked my magic and convinced her, but apparently she still went through with it. And I don't want to have anything to do with bringing people back from the dead anymore.

And now that I have, I'm just afraid. Why are you so upset? Well, again, it wasn't my plan and it was made very clear to me that if I didn't bring Una back, that I wouldn't have a head. I did what I had to do. Was it the Sion? Yeah, but, and she's, she's doing that thing where you're, you're looking up, where you're taking a deep breath while you're, while you're speaking. I can understand why she was upset. And truth be told, it's, it's not the worst thing that could have happened all said and done. All right. Well, I, I admire your calm temper. All right.

I guess this, this settles it. Um, no harm, no fall. Thank you, Miss Julie. And he's just going to bow and walk away. Um, she'll bow right back. Yeah. So, um, does anyone want to do anything else before we cut to the next day in the party, kind of packing up and getting ready? Uh, Kalina would want to check in on Merrick. Okay. I have no idea how alcohol works. How much did Kalina drink? Um, they just sort of took a bottle and just started drinking from it. Do me a favor, roll an endurance check. Yeah, I figured. Wow. That's a 30. Kaluna feels nothing. This is yeah, the Kaluna will feel a little relaxed.

That's it. The, but yeah, that. Oh, Lord have mercy. Okay. So, um, Kalina is gonna probably end up back in there in Merrick's room and they're sort of like licking frosting off of their hand because they have really bad table manners and they're just gonna plop down next to him and just sort of nudge him with their elbow. I'm not gonna say anything just sort of, okay. Yeah, he'd be probably half meditating, sort of, sort of hanging out by himself. He'll, he'll nudge Kaluna back, dejected a little bit, I think. Kaluna's gonna sort of switch the hand that the bottle was in and they'll sort of pat his head with the clean hand.

You okay? Yeah, it's just everything, everything's riding on this for me. There's no other leads. There's nothing else for me to do here. I don't even know how to move forward if it weren't for this and for the lead that Jadzia has found. So whatever this witch can do, I don't even think it's necessarily possible to fix what I am, but it's all we have. And all of a sudden people are coming in and saying that they're gonna find her and kill her or it just doesn't make me feel very good. It's the first time I've ever thought maybe I could have a chance of not hurting the people that I care about.

And he's gonna, you know, sort of squeeze Kaluna's hand probably. Kaluna will sort of, I just lost my train of thought because there's squeaky toys going off in the background. Um, Kaluna will sort of frown a little bit and they'll say, "We won't let them do anything that'll stop you from getting fixed." And they'll sort of pat his face a little bit. Do you think I should tell everybody why? No. No, no, no, no, no, no. No. All right. That doesn't usually go well you told us yourself. Yeah, that's definitely true. Okay. Well, look, I'm fine. It's, I just don't want anything to happen before there's a chance.

That's all. Do you, do you need us to be different? We're sort of clearly struggling for the words. Like, ah. Different how? Do you need us to be Lavender or Heather? Well, what do you feel? Do you feel more like Lavender or more like Heather? Kaluna's gonna stop and think. We, we're very Lavender right now, but we've had a lot of this stuff and they're gonna sort of slosh the bottle a little bit. And then they'll say, we, we felt like Lavender was right for a while, but if you don't feel safe, then we can be Heather. Then maybe Heather, thanks. I don't, I don't feel completely safe right now and I want to.

Kaluna will nod and they'll pat his head again and then they'll offer him the bottle. Just like, eh. He'll absolutely grab the bottle and take a huge swig. Woo. You do not know what you've just gotten. Well, before we do that, I would like everyone to please do me a favor and roll a perception check. Everyone except Una. Chris! I got over 10! I got over 10 guys! I got 19. What? What? High five season? Wait, for real? Are we gonna- Actoronus, Marek, Jadzia, Erolove. Oh no. Braylin, Kaluna, Dagon, and Kori. Okay. Everyone is going to feel the house shake. Almost as if there's a tremor outside and there's going to be this, this kind of booming sound.

I hate you. Can I trade my crit for a crit miss? That'd be cool. I'm sorry. We talked about this before. Like this is, this has actually come up on the show. Now- Would Dagon immediately know what's happening? Probably not, actually. Oh yeah, we have discussed that too. You're like a 200 year old. Dagon's refreshed. Frustrated. Everything's bottled up. Now, I don't know how many of the party would immediately connect the dots on this one. Nobody saw us leave. Jason, for the record, you did not roll for Thales. We can do this. Just gonna say, looks like a dragon just landed.

Good, Thales knows too. Cause Colun and I got crits when we like, here's, you know. Don't do this to me. Oh, gorgeous. Let's say that because of their high scores here, Coluna and Erolove would be in rooms adjacent. The bed comes flying through our little sloth. Oh, God. Oh, so that would be kind of obvious, right? Pretty damn obvious. You're gonna hear- Colun is gonna lean out the window and vomit. They're gonna get up, they're gonna immediately like bolt away from Erolove and just vomit out the window. Just bleh. Erolove's gonna leave the room and like, I need some air.

I- I- they need privacy. You see Act 1 is getting puked on. Ah, the weather has turned. Completely. It's raining wine. Let's pick things up the next day. I imagine everyone's packing up. Everyone's getting ready to head out to the swamp. Has it been discussed how you're getting to the swamp? Are you taking Amara or are you hoofing it? How many people could fit on Amara? Amara can accommodate everyone in both parties. I do believe that it was discussed that we didn't want to bring a dragon that we know for a fact is really powerful when it comes to blood magic with us to the witch.

Directly to the swamp, at least. I think we should park her outside the swamp. Yeah, can we just like get to the outskirts and park her? It'll save you days worth of travel on foot to get at least- Park her by the ship. Then yeah, let's just take her then. Park her by the ship. Besides, I do want to park our gigantic dragon next to their ship and be like, "Oh, that's cute." Oh, how quaint. Oh, a hat. Very cozy. We don't have to feed our boat. Just the lives of your victims. Uh, let's do this too. Does anyone want to say goodbye to anyone or anything like that?

Because, um, yeah. I imagine Craig's staying behind and a breeze coming with us. Is Poe staying? Uh, this would probably be a thing where unless you, uh, unless you want him to come too, Poe would probably stay behind. I want Poe to come too. Can Poe come too, guys? Please? And Craig? And everyone's just all of the- Just all of the fan power. I know Craig is actually needed here. Like Craig is trying to fix up the church and everything, but Poe's just adorable and I want him to come. You can come. Although I feel like maybe leaving him and Craig to like, sort out their shit/bond, you know?

Yeah. Yeah. Punch out their feelings. Julie would be staying too, so this would, uh- No one wants her anyway, so. Yeah. No one even brought up Julie, Jason. Wow. Okay, we never say goodbye to Finway. No, but that ship sailed. I'm sure he was thrilled anyways for the portal actually worked. He was like, "Oh my god, so great." Before we- I do want to say goodbye to Craig stuff. Okay. That doesn't have to be in character just to be like, "Hey, I said goodbye." Right. Uh, Kalluna's gonna switch aspects. No one's gonna be happy about it. They're gonna go into the aspect of the Destroyer, which I discovered is what it's actually called, not defender, Destroyer.

Um, so they put on their old pants that are still riddled with holes, so they wouldn't ruin their new ones. So now they're spiky and angry and their eyes are black. Awesome. Jeez. All right. What happened? Um, choices were made. Heather was requested to explain that. Um, uh, like Izzy said in the chat, Lavender is calming. Uh, white heather, which is the kind of flower that Kalluna is based off of, is for protection. Or destroying? Yeah. Well, I thought it was called defender for a long time, and it's sort of- that's sort of what Kalluna uses it for anyway.

So that's what happened. So I would imagine everyone's saying their goodbyes and getting ready, and Craig's gonna wish you luck, and Julie's gonna be here too, just to- Fuck off! See everyone off. It's not your choice. Nobody wants her here. Kalluna's gonna snarl at her just, "Argh!" Why does she keep showing up she's not wanted? She knows this. Craig wanted her there because it's become apparent that maybe she needs a bit more training in the ways of leadership, so hanging out with him directly might- might help. Dumb bitch. She needs to be taught some patience.

She's tried a lot of things. She needs to get punched in the face. I think she's fine. I wonder if anyone else in the group might need to learn that lesson. Yeah, really. Well, that's what I can think of. Um, getting ready to jump on Amara. Um, Corey wanted to approach first. Uh, yeah. Corey just wants to like slowly approach Amara with her hands up. Um, sort of like a- not saying anything, but like with an expression of "I know you, do you know me?" Like, inquisitive. Um, Amara's gonna take one of those big breathy sniffs in, uh, just kinda get Corey sent, and yeah, immediately, she's gonna kind of like- like nuzzle at- at Corey a bit.

Definitely recognizes her. Yay! Uh, she'll return the- the nuzzling, but more of a, like, how you nuggie a pet almost. Sort of like scratching behind the ears, and she'll say "I missed you, girl." I would imagine everyone's gonna get ready and load up. Uh, Valis is gonna take a nice deep fucking breath before jumping on the back of this dragon again. Uh, not a fan of heights, not a fan of this dragon particularly. Um, and unless anyone has anything else they want to do, you guys can take off. Yeah, I just want to state how visibly excited actor Onniss is to be riding a dragon.

This is like on the number one on his bucket list, and yeah, he- he probably can't stop talking for the whole ride. I- I imagine- Just like "Oh, can you believe we're on a dragon?" "This is a dragon! I'm on a dragon!" Uh, Merrick would be pretty, uh, I think pretty solemn. So just- that might be noticeable. I mean, he's not trying to get any attention, but I think he would probably be uncharacteristically quiet, at least as far as group three would be able to tell. Jadzia? Uh, you want to do me a favor and roll a diplomacy check here? Why am I the only one who can talk to this thing?

Okay, plus seven. Here we go, guys! Oh my. Well, this was fun. Straight up, girl! Straight into the sky! Take space! Space! You get a plus one for being in my presence. True. Una, would you please flirt with the dragon so I can get plus two? Sure. I mean, why not? I'm clearly on a roll here. So the takeoff's gonna be fine. You guys in the air are gonna be fine. Amara either misheard or Jadzia's draconic is really rusty about where exactly you wanted her to park. And she's going to descend on the outskirts, the southern tip of the swamp, and just sort of descend.

Group two would actually recognize it pretty much as the landing area where the ship is. And offshore, the boat is still waiting out there, still anchored. Hasn't gone anywhere. And Amara's going to drop down toward the beach here and just slam into it. The beach or the boat? The beach, not the boat. Oh, you sounded so genuinely worried! No, my boat! My boat! Everyone okay? Yeah, yeah. It would seem as though everyone's all right, but it's a little further out than you wanted to be. Way further out. Okay, guys, should I ask her to continue into the, like, try again or are we good here?

I mean, I don't care. You can ask her to do try again. Yeah. Would it be worth, like, maybe doing a reconnaissance to see if there's an easier route or easier path or if there's a more dangerous place to not sort of tread? I mean, at least that, maybe? Whatever. I'm just saying. Group two, you're the experts here. What do we do? Every way. Every way and there's bad. Okay, so closer. We, yeah, but we've been through, like, this area, so maybe we can follow our tracks. How long did it take us to walk in? Was that like a, sort of like a day thing? Yeah, it was about a day, yeah, to get all the way through because it's just slower.

Like, you're ankle deep in muck half the time. There's plenty of critters and such. Yeah. We'd be able to warn, since we've taken this truck before, we would be able to warn group three of what we faced last time. I can't remember. I can't exactly remember and I'm sorry, but. Disease, disease-coated rats, basilisks, tentacles coming out of the water, trying to drag little Braylon into the. Well, maybe all that intel can give, like, everybody, like, a plus two on their perception or something because they're aware of the dangers. I'm just saying. Yeah. Plus, we're from Darmok's mansion.

It's not any, you know, it's about the same. Kind of like a swamp. Yeah, we probably should have warned you about some stuff before you said hi. Guys, there was a corpse in here. I'm not sure why. Someone's just trying to find their way to the bathroom in the dark. Is that a corpse that looked like Jadzia? Is that normal? Oh, you have no idea how normal it is. Yeah, let's just track through. You guys have already been through this area, so, like, let's just track through the way you went trying to avoid the things that you ran into. How's that sound? Yeah. Yeah.

Hey, nobody get bitten. Yeah, Mac, does your no disease zone move with you? Uh, I can move it, but it's a daily. Oh, okay. Okay. We'll just take four days to get there. The party's going to disembark from Amara and start their journey into the swamp. Kaluna is going to walk unnecessarily close to Merrick, like, to the point where, like, they have to walk weird so they don't step on his feet. I think he's probably used to this kind of stuff, so he's just, he's not, he's not perturbed in any way. Just keeps trudging through. Do me a favor, everyone roll a perception check.

Do we get that plus two? This is how it starts. Holy shit. Ooh, so much. Aww. God. Damn, that's a lot of perception checks. Let's see. Oh, and Pallas. Embry. That's a lot of really good perception checks, except for Brelyn. I guess Cory, because that's technically a one, but it's still higher than Brelyn's. Pretty standard stuff. Pretty standard stuff. A lot of nose picking to do. It happened last time when you, when you didn't get a good perception mold. Yeah, I got grabbed by a tentacle. Yeah. I also remember there being spiders, but we never actually encountered them.

Yeah, you managed to dodge the spiders. They were the webs, yeah. Just short, just short of them. Kaluna, Jadzia, Marek, Dagon, Erolove, Actaronis, Una, Pallas, and Bree. I'm included, guys. It's something that doesn't involve one of my friends having an orgasm. You guys are keeping your head on a swivel. You're very aware of the dangers that are in the swamp. And for the first few hours, everything is very, very peaceful. As a matter of fact, it's almost eerily peaceful because you can get lucky and not encounter anything for an hour, maybe two, or maybe you just know a path or two that is less frequented by things, but to walk for hours consecutively in the swamp and have nothing get in your way and see nothing on your periphery that looks alive, that's eerie.

Can we hear anything? Which is controlling shit, guys. That's what I think. You do hear things. You'll hear buzzing and swarming and clicking and scurrying and all kinds of little background noises, but you're not seeing anything. The most action you'll encounter every once in a while is the rustling of a bush, or you'll hear tree limbs move or bend above you or around you, but you're not seeing anything alive here. Love it. Okay. That's not foreboding at all. It's fine. What do you mean, guys? This is awesome. Don't be this easy. Clearly, nothing's going to go wrong.

We told you we knew the way. Una is going to notice that Bree is getting much more tense. The longer that you trek in, the further you get. It's obviously off. This whole thing is off. And yeah, she's going to start to be just very visibly nervous and tense. Okay, can I pull her aside? Not pull her aside, but walk? Yeah, I would imagine you guys were walking side by side anyway. Yeah. So just reassure her. Take her hand and just be like, "Hey, don't worry. It's going to work out whatever it is. We have been through way too much shit for something to fail now." Yeah.

I'm sure it'll be fine. Just kind of figured we'd be fighting something by now and there's nothing. Whatever she's doing, whatever weird fuckery this is, at least we're not fighting. At least we can save our strength for later. And she's going to give that thought and then... Yeah, okay. All right. That makes sense. And she's going to take a deep breath and keep walking. And as she does, she's going to reach over and sort of grab for Una's hand. Cute. Yeah, Una will hold hands with her. She's totally down to just walk, holding hands. But one hand is 100% on the hammer at all times.

I figured. Yeah. Hours pass. Would everyone please do me a favor and roll a perception check? That's the Jaxxia I know. That's the everybody I know. Such good rolls, you guys. Ah, let's see here. Merrick, Brelin, Una, Dagon, Phallus. And that's it. It's subtle at first. So subtle, in fact, that unless you were really paying attention, you wouldn't even pick up on it. But all the noise, all the chirping and buzzing and all just the ambient wildlife noise that you hear in the swamp slowly starts to fade away as you creep further in. And eventually it is stark, quiet, except for the sound that your boots are making in the muddy grass.

And eventually the witch's house is going to be in view, lit up by the familiar lantern light that group two has seen before. How would you guys like to deal with this? So, okay, Dagon I'll turn to group three. You don't have to worry about a fight breaking out yet. But I think you guys should go first. Be mindful of what you say and don't make any sudden moves. But you better be sure this is what you really want. All right, let's do this. Okay. Una? Una will let go of Bre's hand and then reach out for Merrick. Yep, he's gonna come straight along. He's gonna take a serious break for just a second and do a huge breath.

And then he's gonna completely compose himself like he is in whatever complete control he could possibly have. And he's just gonna step forward with Una. Luna's gonna hold him back for just a second and just sort of bump their nose to his temple and then they'll let him go. That is for cute. He'll grin but yeah. She's like a giant cat. It's so cute. Thank you. Um, yeah, Una will take his hand like give like a little squeeze and just look over at him like, "Don't worry. It's gonna be fine. I promise." Yeah, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. All right, let's do it.

And then they will walk up to the cabin door. The second that the party gets to the door, the door is going to swing open slowly. No one is on the other side of it. And if they choose to, if they choose to enter, the witch is standing in, in this little house. But again, nowhere near the door. Merrick would sort of glance at sort of everybody else. I think he would, he would take a step in. Yeah, Una will go with him for sure. Luna will follow. Datsy will be there. The witch is going to make eye contact with all of you. I so rarely get to entertain. How are we doing this evening?

Luna's gonna grunt. I don't know. Merrick would not know what to say right now. Good afternoon. And he would bow politely. Sorry to intrude in your solitude, but we're looking for some help. I'm looking for some help. Not at all. You're not intruding on anything. Like I said, I, I like to entertain. I just seldom get the chance to do it. Please have a seat. And she's going to, there, there are chairs and such, and she's going to motion. Are there, are there enough chairs for everybody? Um, there's enough for the four of you. Right. Okay. Merrick would motion for everybody else to take a seat before he does.

Wait, four of us? Well, it's just you four who went in, right? Merrick, Una, Kaluna, Jodzia, Valis didn't come? Oh, Valis, sorry, five. What a jerk. There we go. He wouldn't sit though. Abandons his fucking wife. Well, he wouldn't sit. Have fun, honey. Smacks her ass as she goes inside. I'm going to miss that. I never picture him sitting down is the thing. Kaluna won't sit. They'll just stand next to wherever Merrick does sit. Una will sit. You'll be rude not to. Yeah. Merrick would try to sort of encourage Kaluna to please be polite for the moment where we're, uh, we're in someone's house.

We should play by their rules. Kaluna will perch on the arm of Merrick's chair. That's, that's as close to sitting as Kaluna gets. You know how people can sit on a chair that's not quite, not quite high enough and their knees are sort of up and I feel like that's Merrick, but he's going to be kind of towards the edge of the chair. It's going to be super, super awkward looking and uncomfortable, but he's, he's doing it. He's sitting. Uh, the witch is, the witch is waiting for you to get comfortable and sit down. Now I highly doubt that you came all this way just for a social visit.

You said you were looking for something. He, he does glance over at Jadzia and, and everybody, but he's looking for encouragement and he's super uncomfortable right now and really kind of at a loss for words to be honest. Jadzia will see that look. And is it a look of like, can you say something or is it just looking for encouragement? Cause he's, he's looking for, he knows he should probably be talking, but I don't think he knows what to say at all. So it's kind of like, help me please something, help me say what could be said, anything you can speak kind of a look.

I know that's a lot of look, but it's a lot of, but it is a look, it is a look. It's really wide eyes. Jadzia will nod and sit up a little bit straighter in her chair, try to like gather up the confidence to speak cause she doesn't like talking much either. We've proven that she's not very good at diplomacy. And then she'll say, I've been researching a cure for my friend's malady. In my studies, I read that you might have a cure and we've traveled quite a long way to see if perhaps that were true. Merrick would slowly get up and just sort of stand awkwardly right where he was.

His feet would still be planted right where they were when he was sitting. She's going to take a step closer to him. So she is standing directly in front of Merrick. She's going to lift her hands and put them on either side of his face. And it's just looking into his eyes and then just going to start moving his head around, like looking, looking at different angles of it. How long has this affected you? Decades? I think for a long time, I know that. And how many times have you killed someone after losing control? I don't even think I could count anymore.

I've killed dozens and dozens of people. I would imagine you've tried to fight it for a while, huh? Yeah, I have tricks that keep me centered. I meditate. I cook. I try to put on a smile, but it doesn't always work. As you're speaking, the sort of disconnected, bemused smile is on her face. It's been on her face a lot since you've walked through the door. Your problems are not hers. So it's, it's, there's none of that weighing, weighing her down. You know, that's part of your problem, right? You're trying to fight it. I, I'm not just trying to fight it. I'm trying to get rid of it.

I feel like there's too much inside me. There's only room for one thing and it's always at odds. So there's no more room. I've had it. So this has bothered you that much that you would come all the way here to see me? I don't, I'm not sure if I'm getting this across. I've hurt people and I have friends now. I kept away from a lot of people for a long, long, long time so that I couldn't hurt them. But now that I have friends and he's going to look back and sort of gesture to everybody and meet their eyes, honestly, cause he's trying, he's being heartfelt cause it's, this is super, super vulnerable for him.

I can't hurt them. I would rather die than hurt them. So it's either get rid of this or I'm gone. Well, let's not leave to extremes just yet. You understand what you're asking is very dangerous. It's I, I live with danger every day, every moment, a loud noise or a, a burnt hand could make a werewolf pop out and, and wreck havoc. So I'm not worried about that. I would say this had to have bothered you to make the trek here. You had to have known it was dangerous just to enter the swamp. You've had to have heard stories. I mean, I suspect it. I mean, it's, you're not out in the middle of a, of a field with flowers all around or anything.

She's going to give a wide smile at that and then turn away and look at the rest of the party, though. It's not exactly like you did this trek alone. Kaluna is clearly just trying to restrain themselves. They're just, they're digging their nails into the cushion and like their feet are pressed against the floor. Just trying very hard not to lunge at people. They're not happy. The witch is now looking at the rest of the party. Has he hurt anyone of you at any point when he loses control? No, not yet. Don't say that. She's going to turn back to Merrick. I think we may be able to work something out, but I feel like we need to be honest with each other.

And we're getting off on the wrong foot here. You met some new people. Didn't you Merrick? Well, are you referring to our friends outside? Very much so. Yeah, there's, there's nothing to come clean about. They, they just met up with us. We had a common goal to meet you and we all decided that we could talk to you about my problem first. Well, as I previously stated, I so rarely get the opportunity to entertain. So maybe we could make this a group affair and she's going to turn to the rest of the party. Would anyone object to that? So I'd see, I might give a little bit of pause and she looks concerned and just going to glance up at Merrick.

They don't know. We didn't want them to know. I see. So we will stand up. I just look at what Merrick can say. I think now is probably the best time for honesty. We don't want this situation confused. Okay. This is clearly stressing him out. I think. Yeah. I mean, I think this would be the kind of time that he would start feeling pretty itchy. But he would also kind of feel like, look, whatever it takes to get this to happen is fine. So, okay. All right. I'll go get them. How about that? You wait here? I'm just going to like, give him like a look, like a, you seem stressed out kind of look like, like that, like 10 tense kind of just.

Is that going to be okay for you? I don't think anything's going to be okay for me right now. So just whatever makes this happen faster than not. So I'll just go grab them and bring them in. Do whatever she says. Okay. Okay. Don't turn into a wolf and kill anybody. Okay. Yeah. I'll do my best. Okay. Kaluna is going to sort of slide off the perch as he leaves and just sort of stand there anxiously waiting for him to come back. Sort of not wringing their hands. They're sort of more just clenching and unclenching their fists. I was just going to say while they were inside that Corey is definitely going to look anxious because the last time she was here, it didn't, it didn't end well.

And I don't know who would be nearest to her, but she'll verbally say, I don't think I want to go in there. I can stand by the door like last time with you this time, if you want. She'll nod, but obviously anxious. And also while we wait, I would probably ask Dagon. Mr. Page, can you tell me if that large tiefling, if I've met him before, before the troll incident, he's, he's awfully familiar. I know you and Aralav had ties with him. Who's Mr. Page? No, he'll just, he'll just shrug that off and look at actor on us. No, no, you've never met him. Okay. Just checking.

And Maric is out. I think I'd want to go up to Bree first. That's cool. Yeah. She would be very nervously kind of pacing short bursts back and forth waiting. I think Dagon would be doing the same thing. Bree, what's your plan here? You're going to go in, talk to her, find out maybe why she wants you here. And then you want us to leave you here? Like what, what's the end game here? I'm not staying. I'm not sure she's just going to let you leave. Look, it's been years. I mean, you'd think someone would give up after a while, but I just want to know why someone would go to all the trouble to just do what she's done.

Okay. But like I said, if this goes south, I'll be here to back you up. Cause I honestly don't see how, how we're getting out of this. She's going to take a deep breath and put her hand on Dagon's arm. Yeah. It'll work out. We'll figure it out. Maric would approach the group kind of somebody's typing. Asshole. Maric would approach the group kind of sheepishly, but kind of, but also urgently. And I'm assuming everybody would give him attention or is everybody sort of scattered? I think any news, everybody would sort of like jump at early score. All of our heads would swivel towards you.

Okay. Yeah. You've got our attention. Okay. So he would come out and sort of hold court for just a second. Strangely kind of in a whisper, even though there's no reason to whisper about it, but just like, okay. I need to preface this. She's the witch is asking for everybody to come inside. But before that happens, I need to, I need to tell you something here because I don't want you to find out about it in there. I just, I just want there to be a moment. Okay. So I haven't told you yet why we're here. Jadzia said it was for research and it's true. It's research for me.

I have, I have an affliction and I'm trying to get it removed, cured. And I don't want the news of that to worry you or frighten you. This is why we're here and why I'm thankful for your protection and, and, and the fact that we were able to do this together, it helps me. So I just wanted to warn you that this might not be the easiest of stuff to go through, but she is asking for everyone to be together. What exactly ails you? I think at this point it would almost be like a relief for Merrick to just sort of be done with pretenses and everything. I think he would just blurt, blurt it out a little bit.

I'm, I have been for a long time, though, I don't know how it happened. When I get stressed, whenever I get in a fight and things aren't going very well, I change and I, I'm a werewolf. It's not working out anymore. So that's why we're here. Acta Ronis is going to sort of cock his head a bit and pause. And he's just going to say, what a relief. I feel like I've been given a second chance to help an old friend of ours. Mr. Merrick, you still have our help and we're with you. We will help you get through this. Merrick will with lots of relief, grieffully nod.

How would Dagon and Kori react to that? Yeah, I think Dagon would clench his fists and maybe glow a little, but, but hold it back and just say, first off, I hate werewolves. Secondly, you better be very wary about what she kind of cure. This witch is offering you because there's a good chance this is going to backfire on you. And if you stay werewolf, we're going to have problems. You're not the only one that feels that way. So, yeah, I agree. This isn't working out for me anymore. Um, Dagon will actually be surprised by what he said and, and, uh, just, just give him a nod.

What about Kori? Uh, Kori sort of enveloped in, in what he first said when he came out, that she requested that they all come inside. So that's sort of more in the forefront of her mind. But the second she hears the word werewolf, her head's going to dart up and look at him almost surprised because she would have assumed based on her experience with werewolves, that they would be not as kind as, as Merrick has been to them. So she is sort of surprised by the fact. So is everyone heading inside? Yeah. Reluctantly. What's, uh, what's Bree doing? She ready for this?

Again, uh, was pacing very short bursts back and forth. And then when Merrick came out, stood still, listened to all this and yeah, she's just kind of ready to get it over with. Okay. Okay. Merrick would lead the charge back into the, to the house. Brelin would jump in. Yeah. You stay in front of us, buddy. So everyone's going to come back in. The witch is going to watch each one of you pass through the doorway. That is so much better. And then she's going to lock eyes on Bree. And that smile that was on her face disappears. And she's going to make a beeline for Bree.

Dagon, I knew you wouldn't disappoint me. And she was going to reach her hands up and put them on either side of Bree's head. And we'll take a step forward. Like, is anyone going to stop this? I was going to say, what's Bree doing? She is fucking petrified. Bree is. Yeah. Dagon's petrified as well. He wants to step in, but he doesn't know what to do. Yeah. Una will step forward and like, she doesn't want to infringe upon like whatever Bree wants to do because she knows Bree is more powerful than she is. But she'll like stand next to her, like really close and put her hand on her shoulder, like watching the witches every fucking move.

And the witch is going to start to take her thumbs and just sort of trace these little lines back and forth. Just, just almost like a loving mom would, that kind of thing. Just looking intently at her, not, not breaking eye contact, continuing to speak to Dagon. You have done such a good job bringing her to me. I have done nothing. She has come here on her own accord. The witch again, not breaking eye contact with Bree. Well, the important thing is she's here. You, my dear are going to be very, very important. And she is going to, she's going to feel that everyone in the room is staring at her and she's going to take her hands off of Bree.

You know, there's no need to be tense. I was hoping we can discuss things in a civilized manner. You all seem anxious. We've all come here for reasons. It's been a long journey and a stressful existence. So please, can we just move along? Very well. She's going to look at Merrick. I can help you. You have a couple of options here. One is going to be exceedingly painful, but you'll be rid of the beast once and for all. The second will be more pleasant. And I may be able to help you make peace with that beast. You see, it's very difficult to remove, but I could help you get control of it.

At least more control than you have now. Uh, I feel like, uh, this would take Merrick back a little bit. I think he's, I don't care about the pain. What I'm, what I care about the most is making sure that I can't hurt my friends or anyone else. So if your second option means that I could be what I am right now, but be in control of it fully, that's a different story. But if there's a chance I could hurt anybody and he's going to look back at Kaluna, then I need to be rid of this. Oh, there's always a chance. I'm not guaranteeing anything. Like I said, I can remove it.

You will just be in unbelievable pain. What sort of pain are we talking about? This would be physical. I can deal with physical. Very well. You have a seat while I take care of this. And she's going to point right back at Bree. You understand you're going to have to stay with me, right? At this point, Bree has sort of snapped out of being petrified and is just starting to be, just starting to get angry. Why? Why? Why do you want me? Why? That smile is going to creep across the witch's face again. I just do. The rest of you are free to leave if you like. I want her too.

So you're going to have to explain. She looks minorly annoyed, but not surprised. I had a feeling you might object. Shocking, I know. You'll have to understand that I've waited a very long time for this. And though I am a very patient person, my patience is beginning to run short. I have come too far to let her slip through my fingers now. She's not yours. You have no claim on her. Explain yourself or we'll leave. That smile is getting bigger. The witch is going to step forward and get very close to Una. I understand that you have an attachment to your friends, specifically this one.

But I would hope by now that you would have learned to pick your battles a little more carefully, Una. I pick all of my battles and I enjoy every single one of them. I think Dagon would step forward and just say, "Look, there's no need to fight here. But please, if you need a scion, take me instead." Still looking at Una, she's going to address Dagon. "Dagon, if I could use you, don't you think I would have already taken you? Una, you recently lost your faith, correct?" "Correct." "Why don't you believe in the gods?" Actaronis is going to perk up a bit.

Una's just going to look kind of taken aback, like a little like, "This is not what we came here for." Just kind of exasperated and annoyed. But I should just say, I died as the most faithful person the Temple of Kord has ever seen. And there is nothing. There is nothing. I've been there. I've seen it. Gods don't exist. I don't need to believe in them, because I know that they're out there. The witch's smile is going to fade ever so slightly. Well, my dear, if it's any consolation to you, we don't believe in you either. "Guys, I think that's probably a good time for us to reach out to the evil." "Oh, come on, no, no!" "No, no, no!" "Awwww!" "No, no, no!" "Bess, who's down to keep going?" "I am." "I'm down." "You set a precedent for this." "I'm down." "You can hold." "I...

James has got to go." "Dagon can't stay here." "I'm sorry, I'm sorry." "It's fine." "Is this going to be a two-parter, for real?" "I don't see a way around it." "Damn!" "Wow." "I could do, like, another half hour, but I don't know if that's..." "That's... I don't think that's going to get you to where you want to go." "Yeah, I mean, this is a good enough... I mean, this would be exactly the end of the cliffhanger." "Yeah." "I don't know what I'm going to be able to play again." "Well, we got plenty of episodes. We'll have to just arrange it. I... It was delusional to think that we'd get this all done in one episode anyway." "Does everybody have vacation time?

We're all taking a day off." [laughter] "That's not out of their own possibilities." "Yeah, it's actually... I was about to say..." "Yeah, I could do it." "I just got a new job and negotiated a whole bunch of vacations, so..." "Oh, that is awesome. That is awesome." "Yeah, I know what you're going to be doing." "You're going to be busy with finals, isn't she, NHA is?" "Yeah, I'm going to be busy with finals, and then graduation. I have to work. Basically, I'm working for a week straight." "What? Do you have any days that may?" "Not in the foreseeable future, at least." "No, I don't.

Okay." "Maybe not until I get out of school." "So we got three weeks worth of episodes in the back, right?" "Oh, yeah. There's... Yeah. We still got that group two to post, a group three from last night. This, a group four I'm recording tomorrow. At some point, I think group one's going to get their shit together and play. I actually have three sessions for group one that I have to try to cobble together into one episode." "So we're good for like a month and a half, two months?" "Well, let's... I mean, if we have to be, yes." "Yeah, right. We should be able to get a date in there somewhere, right?" "We'll find something.

Yeah. I'm sure we can find something." "We could play at like 7am. We've done that before. It went up really, really well." "Swimmingly, yes." "It went perfectly." "I want to wake up at 3am to start prepping a session, yeah." "We all knew exactly what we were saying the entire time. No one went bonkers." "No one came off." "Hey, we have to fight a god. You kidding me out here?" "Taking a day off would be good for me because no one would be home." "That's true." "Yeah, same here." "We really hope you guys enjoyed Bad Moon Part 1. Part 2 will be out next week.

There are a couple of different ways you can help support us. If you do like what we do, we do have a Patreon page. You can go to patreon.com/dandr. Any bit that you can give us helps. We do kind of base our living. We embrace our living off of this, so that's how we pay the bills and literally keep the lights on. We do offer all kinds of extra content. We do commentaries and DM seminars and all kinds of one-on-one stuff. Bloopers, highlight reels, all kinds of behind the scenes stuff that kind of gets cut from the show or pre-session stuff, post-session stuff, all kinds of stuff that we just can't really squeeze in the feed.

We put it on Patreon, so it's all kinds of extra content. If you could go to iTunes and give us a five-star rating, that would be fantastic. It kind of helps more people see us, and you can give us a like on Facebook, all that. Please don't forget to go check out those two Kickstarter projects we were talking about, and that is Rain, the card game, and Dark Legacy, the dragon epoch. Those are two very cool card games. We want to see them both get funded. We really just want to kind of play them. If they do get funded, we'll do some kind of thing with, we'll do some kind of extra content where we play them online, something like that.

It could be really, really fun, and we really hope that these two guys get what they're asking for. They don't have crazy goals. It's just what they need for printing costs and things. So go check them out, and we will see you guys next week.
