I'm Jason, I'm the Dungeon Master. Going around the table, start with Rachel. Hey guys, I'm Rachel and I play Tavine Brightheart.

And Dan. Hi, I'm Dan, I play Duncan Joy-b-Tom. And Robert. Hey, I'm Rob, I play Malchus Grimness, Tiefling Warlock. Last time on the show, you may have noticed a stunning absence of goats. Or petting upset goats. That is because after you guys took a break from Dern Hollow, you decided to walk up the road and go to an old farm that Tavine used to live on. You... I... I'm... I don't know how to describe Morgan, but you met Morgan, and he's investigating a murder that he thinks was perpetrated by the Lizardmen. I want you to know, I picture that History Channel Aliens guy from the game.

Yup. So, you guys are... you basically left off at this farm just checking things out. He is solidly convinced it's Lizardmen, and that they're either abducting people or taking their place or both or whatever. These... at least the one body was drained of blood, there are puncture holes in the neck, draw your own conclusions from that. And that's after we did a little sex education with Duncan and Dern Hollow. But, let's pick up... it is the fifth of Thorim as of right now. And we're looking at almost noonish, like almost noonish time. What would you guys like to do?

You're still on this farm, and I don't know if you want to try and follow the trail of his body, if you want to just dump this and go somewhere else. What would you like to do? I know we followed it out into the field, and kind of got like a, "Well, it looks like it was dried out here," and then something got up and walked away. After that, Tevin probably would have tried to go back into the house and just kind of look around. More for like, memory's sake than like, trying to figure things out at this point. Okay. What would everyone else be doing? Did we give the body a good once over?

The one that was... the one that was kind of drained of blood? Yes. Tevin looked at it. You guys can do a perception check or something. Do a little CSI type stuff on it? Yeah. You want to do that with me, Rob? I'm not particularly skilled in that regard. That's probably heal, right? I mean, to give the body a once over would probably be perception, like turning it over, like looking it up and down, that kind of thing. I'm not good at that one either, Jason. Well, I... That doesn't get me far. You can just... I got the medate. B to 15. I won't. Let's see, where is it?

Oops, that is not... hold on. Think you are streetwise the body, don't you? Yeah. Let's see if it has any information. It wants to shake it down and ask it for its lunch money. Actually... What's the word on the street? What about a religion check? Wait... How do you mean? Like checking for religious... To see if maybe it was involved in some kind of ritual or... Ah... You could do that. Go ahead. Yeah, you could do that. Oh, I know everything religion. Duncan is God and... Say that again. Let's isolate that, guys. That can be your text message tone. Okay, well let's go over perception here first.

Because Malkus will be looking over this body and definitely looks to have been female. Also been here for a while. Not years or anything like that. It's not completely decayed, but it has been left out in the elements. And if you were to kind of combine that with everything else you're seeing around this farm... While the farm itself looks like it's fallen into disrepair, it looks like the people living here... Maybe just didn't make repairs. It doesn't look like these people disappeared and then the farm fell in. It would take years for that. But it does look like this person was definitely taken against their will behind this house and definitely drained of their blood.

Definitely. Think like a deflated Capri Sun. Vivid. Nice. Well done. Oh boy. Skin's very, very dry. Very bruised in certain places. The arms, legs. Looks like handprints. Someone definitely... Someone strong definitely took this person back. On top of that, it doesn't look like this woman was very old. Maybe their late 30s? Early 40s? Somewhere in there? As far as religion goes, it doesn't look like this was some sort of sacrifice or part of some religious ceremony. Anything like that. It looks like either a crime of passion or something feral. Something wild got a hold of her.

So maybe a nature check would be in order? You can give me a nature check. I don't have good nature. How about you, Malkus? That's not what I... No, I don't do that one either. Let's cross our fingers, hope for the best, and go. I got a nine. Somewhere in the background, I'm just imagining Tavine being like, "I am right here." Tavine left. She's in the house. She went inside. Oh, that's right. Otherwise, that would be your person. So Duncan looks over at Malkus and goes, "Okay, so it's a girl. It's a human, right? Human girl?" Looks to be, yeah. And he goes, "Okay, Malkus, I can tell you one thing.

I know religion. This has nothing to do with religion, I promise. But I'm gonna... Let me look a little closer." It looks like it was mauled by some kind of animal. Let me see if I can find out which one. And then I go in. Malkus just stands there with his arms crossed and raises the highest eyebrow at you. He's just like the most skeptical of your investigative abilities. I love this thing. It's like, "Malkus, what do you think?" It's like, "That's not me. That's not mine either. I am not. I am... Nope, that's not..." And, okay. Duncan is going to look over this body and pretty much come back with, "Well, it could be..." And then he's going to rattle a list of possible wildlife or creatures that could have done this, including vampires.

But like bears, maybe wolves, wild dogs, could have been a kid. -Wolves, wolves, dwarves. -Yeah, everything. Just like, "We're looking at a long list of suspects here." Now, the other possibility, of course, is that magic is involved. Are you just gonna run down every check? Pretty good about finding out about magic. So let me look to see if there's lizard magic or anything like that. I can't wait to come back and find him with all of these pinned to a cork board and little yarn going between each fact. I just figured that Duncan has out his CSI at home kit.

Maybe we should go get Tevin. Not only is she the most emotionally invested in this farm, but she's also the most likely to produce actionable intelligence. Okay, Malkus, if you want to waste your time getting Tevin, that's fine. Me and my boy here are going to check out to see if there's anything to do with magic. Okay? -So you have fun. -By your boy, do you mean Morgan or Theo? I meant Theo, but Morgan's here too. Yeah, they're both hanging out. Morgan's doing the thing where you're watching somebody with your arms crossed, but you've got your other hand supporting your chin, just stroking.

He's like, "Yeah." -Yeah. -He's paying attention. I imagine Theo's like, "Forsaeps?" He's just right by... He's ready to go. He's there, but he's about as useful as Malkus in this certain situation. Alright, alright. I'm going to go and find Tevin. You all stay together and don't wander off. And then as he starts walking away, he stops and he just turns back to me. Like, tether yourselves to each other or something, so it's harder. Okay. Tevin, let's catch up with Tevin for just a moment. -Yep. -What are you specifically looking for in this house? Just trying to get a general lay of the land, what this house was like, who lived in it, that type of thing?

Yeah, probably just trying to look and see if there's any mementos that would have belonged to who she remembered living there, or anything that she would recognize within the house to know that the same people were still living there, at least before this all happened. Just trying to get an idea of were these even the same people, or is this another family moved in and took over? So, you know, picking up trinkets or whatever and maybe turning them over. If the house hasn't been ransacked, she's going to be like, maybe open a few drawers and shuffle through whatever's in them, go in the bedrooms.

But nothing crazy. She's just kind of walking through looking and casually casing the place. Well, do me a favor. Do me a favor and roll a perception check. Let's see how much you see. I'm good at this. Not for that though. I'm not even trained in that. I see stuff. You see? You see stuff. Yep. Okay. Tevin's going to look around this house and sort of rifle through drawers and kind of just try to piece together the lives of the people who were living here. And yes, it looks like there was forced entry. It does not look like the people that ransacked this place were invited in any way, shape or form.

It also does not look like they were here to rob anyone because they're there. The house has definitely been given a once over. It looks like someone may have been looking for something or or but they weren't looking for personal effects or mementos. And they weren't looking for cash because there's a few objects around here that are made of silver or have some gemstones in them, something that would be worth money if you fenced it. So it doesn't look like it was just a straight up burglary either. And looking around this place, you are going to see you're going to you're going to find a couple of letters.

Some of it looks like maybe journal pages, something like that, and a couple of them look like letters that were exchanged between a couple of different people. And one of them talks about a funeral for a Thomas Elf Talon, which was a few years back. And it looks like his son maybe took over this farm at some point. And that's going to be the extent of what you find. I will definitely hold on to those letters. So I'll put them in my pocket or backpack or whatever, you know, just kind of put them in a nice little pile, however many there are, and like put them in for closer reading later and just continue on.

Because you said the funeral was a few years ago, so it's now it's going to be one of those things like, OK, that sucks. But at least I know somebody was here that I may know. Yeah. And then I guess just kind of continue. I may kind of like I'm also being like very like I want to say like reverent, but I'm not like trash, you know, just throwing stuff on the floor. Right. And the place is a little trash. Yeah, but I may kind of like pick up the items that might be worth value and set them kind of aside, just maybe like put them in like a drawer or something that's like so they're not just in plain view right away.

There's also a second floor to the building, too. I definitely want to head up that way. Do I have to make an acrobatics to not fall through the stairs? No, God no. I'm big. I don't know. Yeah, you're big, but. You sense in disrepair? Yeah, but to the point where you're falling through stairs, it's not condemned. It's just like, well, that sign could use some work or the goats are going to get out of this fence if you don't fix it or something like that. Not not to the point where you're going to fall through objects. OK. Malthus. Yes. By this point, I would imagine you have reached the house.

I step on in and I guess to Vane. Yes, Malthus. I'm halfway at the stairs or maybe at the top of the stairs. Oh, keep going. I'll follow. I just came back to see if you discovered anything worthwhile. I don't think the rest of our investigative team is going to be too productive on that front. Oh, well, I'm up here to the left at the top stairs. Coming. So without going like one start first rooms and start talking like. So I did find it looks like Thomas, the original owner, who actually was the gentleman that purchased me. I guess he passed away a few years ago.

There's some notes about, you know, his funeral and passing. And, you know, when Malthus comes up, I'll fish them out of my bag and kind of hand them to him if he wants to, like, look at them. And his son, Derek, is who took over the farm. So that's primarily who I would have liked to see. But obviously he's not here at the moment. So it seems. I guess no hint as to what might have provoked this attack, if anything. It's I mean, it's quite possible that it was random, too. But yeah. I mean, going based off what I found downstairs, there's a few valuables still laying around.

So they weren't, you know, robbed, so to speak. But that's not saying that they weren't looking for something from what it appears. I'm just kind of seeing if I can piece any more together. If you want to help. I don't know. Of course. The family that you were with here, they. I mean, everything you've said about them just makes it sound like they were kind of common farming folk. But was there anything magical in the family? Anyone with gifts? Anyone with heirlooms, magical items, anything like that? Off the top of my head and from what I saw from when I lived here.

And keep in mind, this was 15-ish years ago. I don't recall them having anything of significant value. So I don't know unless they acquired something after I left. I really have no idea what would have provoked something like this. I mean, I suppose it's possible that they were just victims of opportunity. The puncture wounds in the neck certainly brings to mind vampires or maybe cult rituals of some kind. Somebody draining blood for, well, dare we say it, blood magic. Or lizard men, of course. Just kind of like smile at like obvious answer, you know. Or shape-changing lizard men.

Yes. Yeah, I don't. And even from when I lived here, I don't remember anything of that ever really happening. It was pretty standard. I had some animals, had some fields. And just kind of went about our business. And she's going to kind of scratch her head. The only thing of note was that when the Overwatch came. But, I mean, we complied with their wishes. So I don't see why they would need to come back and do anything more. Malkus kind of furrows his brow and says, "What do you mean 'complied with their wishes'? To what extent?" Well, they needed leather.

And we had animals that had leather. And, I mean, mass slaughtering of all the animals. And even some of the less compliant minotaur that worked, so to speak. Any of your family? No. My father and I were the only ones here. My mother and sister were sold elsewhere. But me and my father complied completely and were left, you know, should they ever need more. Kind of open-ended. They saw leather as leather regardless of what kind of animal it came from. Forgive me for saying so, but you seem remarkably at peace about it. It's... She's going to kind of pause for like half a second.

I may have had to help with the animals, but at that time it was either help or become one of the carcasses. And obviously I was not going to just hand myself over for slaughtering and skinning. So, you know, people have to do things that really suck. That would be one of them. And thankfully Thomas and his son Derek looked out for my father and I and made sure that we got out of town before they possibly came back looking for more. Well, I sympathize with doing regrettable things in a time of war, if nothing else. And Malkus just kind of looks away and looks out the window and he says...

I mean, I don't know if you think otherwise, but I'm leaning toward... I don't think we're going to find any more information here. We're probably better looking at the outskirts and perhaps going into the wilderness, maybe trying to find whatever came onto the property. But I mean, take your time. Whatever obviously must be a little intense coming back here. I can let you be if you like. Yeah, I had like just a few minutes. It's not the reunion I was hoping for. I'm kind of still holding on hope that maybe Derek has took off or something and those weren't his footsteps or lizard men's steps in the field.

All right. You know where everyone else is when you're finished. We'll reconvene there, I guess. Sounds good. Thank you. And Malkus walks off and I guess he just kind of like wanders the lower floor for a little bit before heading back out. Let's catch up with Duncan, Theo and Morgan for a second. OK. What I almost said, what else do you want to do to this body? I meant, are there any other checks you'd like to run? Because I did an Arcana check. Yeah. There's a distinct lack of lizard magic surrounding this body. For the most part, what what happened looked very physical.

It doesn't look like there was anything that there was anything magical about the attack. There's no Duncan's not getting a vibe from it or anything like that. If if you had to guess, it was actually pretty brutal. What happened here? All right. So Duncan kind of stands back up and looks over at Morgan and goes, well, here's what we know. No magic. Mm hmm. So it's nothing to do with religion. It could be any number of animals, most likely lizard man, of course. And he looks over at Theo. What's your take on the situation, Theo? Well, OK, are lizard men like Dragonborn?

Do they have lots of teeth? Because I only see two like holes in the in the neck. And Duncan Duncan is doing a thing where he's trying. He he he doesn't want to embarrass himself in front of Morgan. So he's just like, what a dumb. Morgan, can you believe that question? Why don't you answer that question? That was ridiculous. Silly question. Well, that all depends. Now, if they've already turned and taken over a human host and their teeth are going to look similar to humans or tieflings or whatever they've taken over recently, they do have very sharp canines.

Exactly. Man, Theo. Theo's going to run a nature check. OK. Theo's just going to kind of stand there and soak this in because he doesn't want to be called an idiot either. But none of that's adding up to him. OK. I'm going to I'm going to go look for Tevien for just a minute. I am going to be right back, though. OK. Duncan goes, he got to listen. He goes, hey, you know, I better go with him just to make sure he doesn't, you know, and I kind of pointed my head like, you know, he's a little. You know, I'm saying so you want to hang out here, I'll be right back.

OK. Of course. OK. Am I passing that way at that point or. I would say that Malchus would be leaving the house. So Duncan catches up to Theo and he he he could tell that Theo knows something, you know, that he doesn't want to share with Duncan for some reason. So Duncan goes, hey, hey, Theo, what what we don't have to tell. We don't have to tell. And he points back at Morgan. He goes, but between me and you, what you what you see back there? I I don't know anything about lizardmen. I just I mean, it looks like a vampire. I mean, from everything I've heard, I've never I've never actually seen a vampire that I know of.

But I mean, it looks like someone bit her and. Well, well, well, I and Duncan, he kind of looks back at Morgan and he goes, hey, Morgan. He's just going to kind of like do the bro nod, raise his head, just like lizardmen can take over vampires, right? Do me a favor. Roll perception. OK. 20. OK, you're going to tell. From the look on Morgan's face that that thought had never occurred to him and it terrifies him. Just sort of, oh, my God, just like the thought never occurred to him. Yeah, just he's he's going to start like pacing, like very, very rapid fire back and forth pinball style, just like, oh, God, this changes the game.

Kind of like that kind of like, oh, God. OK, so Duncan sees that and just like no reaction at all turns back to Theo and goes, yeah, lizardmen can totally take vampire bodies. That's possible. OK, well, then how do we know who's a lizard man? That's the thing about lizardmen. We don't know who's lizardmen. That seems dumb. It's so dumb that it just might be true. You ever think about that? No. I am. I am now. So what we're dealing with is lizard vampire men. This is this is some next level shit, man. Oh, here comes now. Thank God. Well, Tevien isn't having any luck inside, so I hope that you've all come to some sort of logical conclusion that can guide us forward at this point.

Lizard vampire men. OK, so no luck there. What does Theo look like right now? Just give me a description. OK, just like sweaty brow, kind of like mouth agape as you're as you're describing. He's like, that doesn't seem right. And then the more you the more confident you are in telling him that this is a thing and that it exists, the more he's like, oh, God, if if if super rational and intelligent. Duncan is thinking this. I mean, I need to get on the boat. Like he's he's very much just yeah, he's in a panic. So Duncan, Duncan, Marcus, seriously. OK, so we me and Morgan, we knew about the lizardmen.

But feel feel came about and said, you know what? This looks like vampires, right? And, you know, I obviously being the smart one, I piece together that the lizardmen took over the vampires because he's Theo says these are obviously vampire bites, right? So if the lizardmen are vampires now, let's just say you better get your affairs in order. That's it was all I'm going to say. This has all been extremely fascinating, but I'm going to get to veen and we're all going to go kill whatever did this. And I'm going to prove definitively that it is not lizardmen.

What one thing one thing before we go kill anything. One thing I I've learned from studying the body, I'm obviously an expert. Oh, go on. It's been there for a while. Maybe instead of just running off into the woods and trying to find whatever took out this farm days or even weeks ago, maybe we should, you know, go try to gather some and like talk to people. And maybe this is already been taken care of for maybe, you know, we haven't exactly asked around about this. Do you think we should really just run off into the woods considering they could be halfway across Theria by now?

You know, well, I was upstairs. So what I guess come downstairs and found them all outside. I would imagine. Yeah, I know I would probably walk up or to be would walk up and show because Jerry showed Malchus the letters. So she just offered them over to Duncan and be like, hey, so I found some letters upstairs that are the owners. The owner died. You know, the man that used to own me has passed on several years ago and there was a funeral. So there's some letters, but it doesn't say anything about his son or where he was, other than that he was handling things, so to speak.

There was a guy who used to own you. Yes. OK. That's what happens with Minotaurs, I guess. He is going to look over to Duncan like, OK, like, that's what you think that. Yeah, to be. No, he doesn't say anything. Just more like like I don't know. I don't think Theo knows a crazy amount about Minotaurs, but just like, oh, that's normal. I'd like kind of kind of like, oh, yeah, I mean, Duncan Duncan knows two Minotaurs that they were both owned. Sounds about right to him. So, OK, so here's the plan. We figure whatever lizardmen were in the area, it's been a while since they've been here.

So there's no reason that we need to get on the trail and start trying to find them. I, me being the most rational person here, obviously, have decided that we should probably head back into town, maybe ask around, see if anyone knows about what happened here or more about the lizardmen. And Morgan's going to hang out here in case the lizardmen come back. Right, Morgan? Morgan's just going to nod, just like, just very authoritative. Like he's got you. You've got a place to hide in case we don't want them to see you. Of course, I got a place to hide. OK, now here's here's the I hate to be the one to break this to you, to be but the lizardmen could be lizard vampires.

I see what leads you to think this. Well, the people, the body over here, we think it looks like it was obviously attacked by a vampire. And since we already know that lizardmen are involved, we're assuming that the lizardmen must have become vampires. I see. So maybe has and she's got to look at Malchus and Theo. Have you both taken a look as well and you all agree on this? Theo knows. I just feel he's going to open his mouth to speak and then just like Duncan's like that. Theo knows. And he's just going to kind of like put his hand down again and close his mouth slowly.

We differ on the finer details, but I we can hear Duncan's plan. Do we agree? Do we at least agree that the best idea there do we at least agree that there's no reason to go transing off into the woods when obviously it's been a while since they've been here. It's not like we're going to turn around and they're going to be right right off the path there. They're they're already going to be far away. So we might as well at least know what we're getting into before we start off on this. That's fair. Yeah. Can I look at the body one more time? Sure. And do any.

You said this is the one that was bit it's the female that was bit in the neck and then like drained almost. Oh yeah. Like a yeah like a Capri Sun I believe is the descriptor. I think that was the description. Would that be a nature or. Well what specifically are you looking for? Just let me see if there's any other marks. I mean I know he did a religion check and said that was not a religious thing. As Duncan notices her kind of going towards the body and look I'm good right now. State my objection to you doing any further investigation. I'd rather the body not be messed with.

I've already investigated thoroughly. But if you insist on doing so if the body if anything happens with the body and it gets messed up from this point forward that's on you. OK. That is completely fair. I will be as careful as possible not to disturb it any more than necessary to see if I can pick up any additional hints facts tricks information. So Duncan looks at Morgan just kind of gives him a thumbs up. Don't worry about it. Question. Yes. These people are dressed right? Oh yeah they're not naked. Can I rifle through pockets and see if there's any kind of items or anything that like would be you know telling about.

I know they probably don't carry IDs but. Right. Do me a favor actually while you're doing that give me a nature check just to just to examine the bodies and any markings that may have been left by whatever. Come on. That's not bad. Look at my modifier. I know I know but it's not that we look at the look at the number not the role. That's good. So. Yes. Right. Think of these pockets. It looked like this woman was wearing like evening clothes. Like maybe they were they were they were kind of settled in for the night. Maybe they were done everything they were going to do.

Kind of kind of a Therian version of PJs type of thing like. So nothing really nothing really on the body. It looked like maybe she was wearing a locket at one point and this was maybe forcefully taken from her. And it also looks like there's some there were some bruising around the upper arms. Like maybe she was held at one point probably while they did while whatever did this was biting. And one more thing. It looks like her wrist was broken. OK, so while she's doing that to just as a kind of like to make it look like he's doing something important. Duncan's what would I roll to kind of just like look around the area?

Just like a perception. Just like a person I like just kind of within like three feet of the body just you know that see if there's any kind of like. Right. Just kind of CSI the area. Wow. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Nice. That's good. Well the tough thing is following any tracks at this point is going to be nearly impossible. Now this is kind of a muddy field and this is like there's there's an abundance of footprints, some of which are left by you guys obviously the fresher ones. It doesn't look like Morgan was too careful around the crime scene, let's say. So there's there's kind of footprints all over around this body and things are things are a bit trampled.

It does appear that OK. Duncan is going to see something sort of sticking out of the ground. And and it looks like the hilt of something like maybe maybe a short sword or dagger or something like that. OK. Yeah, I'll totally grab that. OK. Is that what it sounds like from the dirt? Probably not. But it's dangerous to go. Duncan's going to pull this small dagger out of the ground and what it looks what it looks like is this is some pretty decent craftsmanship. This is this this appears to be silver, which is sort of rare to make weapons out of. Usually when you're when you're making silver weapons, you're you're hunting with a purpose.

There's something you're after because it's not like silver weapons would hurt. They're they're way more expensive to craft than, say, steel or iron or whatever, and they're not exactly it's not like it's going to cut deeper or hurt more. You're basically monster hunting at that point. You're taking it for a purpose. And something like this would have to be made by by someone with some skills, some talent, because you're not going to hand raw silver over to someone who doesn't know what the hell they're doing. Although someone who doesn't know what the hell they're doing could pick it up out of the dirt.

Yes. Which is what just happened. So what kind of check should I. OK. You know what? I'm just gonna I'm just gonna take this over to Morgan. Good. Excellent. Just a fearless leader. Love it. So I'm just going to walk over to Morgan. I'm going to first I'm going to slide the knife kind of like underneath my coat so that no one sees it. And I'm going to go over to Morgan and one second motion for him to. OK. Do me a favor. Roll a stealth check on that. OK. But the only one in the general area that I know of is to Veen. So as long as it beats her passive perception, you're fine.

Good luck. Eighteen. Eighteen. So not quite. So to be would see you pocket the dagger. Would you do anything about it? I probably just like what would you find? Not accusingly, just kind of like asking, like, hey, what'd you find? Oh, me. Do you look around like who else would I be talking to? And then not. I thought maybe Theo. I just found a fun knife. I need I need to I needed a knife. So I just I have a knife. I thought you were a great fist fighter. Me? No, I mean, I am. But, you know, I I need a knife. Who doesn't need a knife? Hey, you know what? Let me let me get back to you about this knife thing.

Can I get back to you about this knife thing? So to be going to look at you very suspiciously. Duncan, we're working together to try to solve this, right? Right. OK, OK, fine. Just just come here. Come here. Hey, look. OK, I want to find out. I'm going to take a knife. We're all going to know about this nice situation, but Morgan is the expert here. So I just want to make sure that I see if he knows anything about it before I bring it to the rest of the group, because I don't trust some of these people. And then I just look straight at Theo. Theo, yeah, sure.

OK, fine. You can look at it. You want to come on the case of the body and you let Morgan look at that and then make sure you that you share it with everybody, though. OK, but don't tell anybody about it until I come back. OK, your department. And you'll like pat him on the shoulder and be like, you know, go ahead. Good. And Duncan Duncan's like really happy that he he thinks he thinks he pulled one over on it. But he's just a huge smile on his face. So now Duncan goes over, goes over to Morgan and goes, hey, Morgan, let's go over here. He's going to he's going to hunker down.

Would you find? And then I just kind of slide open my like like I'm showing him watches, right? Right. Slide open my jacket. Check this out. This look familiar? He's going to make a weird grunting noise. That's his thinking noise, by the way. Let me see that. Duncan, Duncan takes it out. Duncan takes it out. But he's not letting go. He's just holding it out. That is a nice dagger. Someone would definitely miss that. Where did you find it? In the ground. Does this look like a dagger that maybe, I don't know, a lizard vampire might be holding? See, I've never known them to use such advanced weaponry.

But here's what I'm thinking. You have to listen. Here's what I'm thinking. OK. Lizard man. Right. They take over other people's bodies. Correct. Well, if if another body was holding this dagger. They don't need dagger. Right. So they would just leave it on the ground. So I think that this is more evidence that there that some lizard vampire man has taken over bodies here. Because who else? Why else would a dagger like this just be left on the ground? And Malthus turns to Devine. He's like, should we just go into town on our own? Like, they could. I mean, they could wait a while.

This looks like Malthus. Can Malthus hear this or is he just watching? Well, OK, let's do OK. Two things. One, Morgan's whisper isn't so much a whisper as it is a low yell. Two, Malthus, do we favor role perception and let's see how much of this you'd pick up. Now, that doesn't mean that his his his statement would be unjustified anyway. Yeah, it's all right. I'm not good at that one. Let's see. Perception. Oh, in which case I'm real good at that one. Yeah. Malthus heard all of this. Because I also I also like the idea of Malthus just seeing us having the conversation, not hearing it and being like, OK, we're going to I assume that stupid talk going on over there.

I'm just there. But it's really possible. OK, so I'll go ahead now because what we're saying. I mean, they could be a while. You know what I mean? To be. Yeah, I think we should wait to see what Duncan has. And she's got kind of like motion like kind of look, you know, it's like I already know, but I've sworn to secrecy. Just give them a minute, I guess. You know, how are you doing over there in your armor? You're not faking, are you? Oh, it's a little hot, but I'm OK. There's shade nearby. In the house. I mean, he could he could he could go to the house. I just guess if there's like a tree, maybe like, yeah, on the outskirts, there's like a big fence that kind of surrounds the property and there'd be like there'd be like shade trees and stuff near there.

OK. She's not going to tell them to like move away. Yeah. OK, so tell you what. Myself and Theo here are going to go and start asking about and Malkus just like cringes as though he's choking the words out. Lizard vampire men. We're going to go ask about them in the town. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. You can hang out for you can help for a second. We're just looking at this will be right there. Just don't hold your horses, buddy. Hold your horses. It's only going to take a second. Yes, we're almost done. We're almost done.

Morgan's Morgan's going to show have a little respect for your leader. OK, he's trying to take care of all of you. No, no. This is what it looks like when I walk. Come on, Theo. No, stop. You don't want to leave. Don't leave me here. Please, please, please. To me, we'll take great care of you. No, we don't want to split the party. This is a terrible idea. It's not like the town is like five feet away. It's a march. Give me a second. Malchus is at least walking back toward the house. OK, I'll deal with that. OK, it's fine. It's fine. Now back to Morris. Sorry about that.

Sorry about him. Morgan, I apologize. He's he's a bit of a he's a bit of a loose cannon, if you know what I mean. It is tough to find good help. But you know what? When it comes down to it, he's a good fighter and that's all that matters. And also, he he's a good follower. He knows. You just keep taking that grave. Just keep the dirt. Stupid dirt. I'll be honest. This is why I work alone. You assholes. OK, but but but so obviously we know that this this is obviously a lizard person has taken over a body of someone who used to own this, left it here because they don't need it.

That's obvious. But do you know anything specifically about this dagger? He's he's going to he's he's going to still taking a look at it. I assume Duncan's still holding it. Well, you don't see too many silver weapons. This had to be made by someone and they took time with it. OK, so my guess is that if you asked around about it, you could probably find someone who knows somebody who had a hand in it. And if you find that someone, we may just find our lizard man. That's right. There you go. Thank you. See now. Now is Malchus with an earshot? Like, could I yell at him?

You could. Yeah, I imagine you could yell. I see Malchus. See, now we know. OK, see why I was asking Morgan. Does it make sense now? Malchus is turning around. And Tabine's only standing like five feet away, just like waiting. Duncan also, just for the hell of it, is going to run a quick history check on this, even though his history is not that high, just to see if he knows anything. Nope. So what does Duncan know about this? The only thing Duncan would know is that basically what I said earlier, like the very base knowledge that a lot of people have about silver weaponry is like, OK, you either made that because you have money and you can just it's like you ever seen a guy at school who has a really high class pocket knife or something and they keep it with him all the time and they flash it?

Yeah, basically that like just you're rich. You don't know what to do with money, but you want to be tough. So you have a silver dagger or a silver sword or something, just opulence. The only other reason to carry something like that is for self-defense or some sort of monster hunting or you think you may need a weapon with silver. And there are only two well-known, two well-known monsters, quote unquote, on the mainland where you would need a silver weapon. And does Duncan know what those monsters are? Do me a favor, real nature. Oh, come on. The answer is no.

Oh, actually Duncan- The answer is yes. Yeah, the answer is vampires and werewolves. Now- What I said. Yeah, that's that's those are the two big ones. All all comes together. Yeah. OK, so so Duncan scurries over to Malkus, which I think is a proper word for- So you run right past Tevinne? Well, not so much like he's motioning for Tevinne. Like, come on, let's go, let's go. Because I don't want- The game is afoot. Yeah, Malkus is obviously not slowing down for anybody. I've yelled at him already and he's just kept walking. So- In three strides, she catches up to Malkus.

And he turns back to Morgan and goes, Morgan, be well, be safe. We'll be back. He's going to he's going to kind of like wave, but it like like that kind of wave. It's like, just watch your back like that kind of thing. Like very, very takes himself very seriously. And so now Duncan, out of breath, catches up to Malkus and grabs on to him. Let me guess, you've blown this case wide open. OK, listen, hang on a second. One second. OK, OK. So number one, if we find out who owns the sword, the dagger, we'll know who the lizard people are. So we have to find out.

We have to go back to town and find out who owns who. Sorry. Who owns the dagger? We have to find out. Number two, dagger is used to kill vampires, which the lizard men are now vampires. We've found that out. Number three, lizard men don't need weapons. So what we think what I know happened is that a lizard man got somebody, became a person who would have this weapon and then dropped it because they didn't need it. So if we find out who owns this weapon, then we know who the lizard men are. So let's get to dirt hollow. May I see the dagger? And he's going to hold out her hand.

What? Yes. Here. Duncan, do you feel it? By now, Duncan is like doing the thing where his hands are on his knees and he's just bent over to stop. Duncan, Duncan, do you feel absolutely adamantly sure about this? Look, the only person who seems to have any idea of what's going on around here is Morgan. OK. And he seemed pretty positive about everything. So I and he he said if we go to dirt hollow, we can figure out. Hey, hey. And you know what? Check this out. Let's pretend for a second that they aren't lizard men. Let's pretend. OK. OK. If we find out who owned the sword, we still might be able to find out who killed these people.

OK. But if this lead dries up. Let's say we put me back in charge for a while. If this is all just a big farce on the on the outside chance that this follows through, this falls through. Wow. And then he just looks over to being deeply this guy in charge. Look, I know it sounds outlandish, but, Marcus, I don't think I'm in charge. OK, I just I let people think what they want to think. If he wants to think I'm in charge, he can think I'm in charge. Doesn't bother me, but I think we pretty much run this thing like a democracy. Right. Theo. Right. Uh, it feels like kind of taken off guard.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I get a vote, I guess. Yeah. So hey, Malcolm, remember what used to happen when we would fight over who's in charge? Remember? Why don't we just all kind of keep doing what we're doing? Is that that sound OK? Well, I mean, I didn't really get a vote about joining you guys. And I didn't get a vote about the dragon thing or feel the. Oh, shut up. Stop. Stop talking. Anyway, democracy. That's what I want. That's what I'm looking for. Everyone gets an equal say except Theo. Everyone. Does he actually whisper that to this? To be in can hear it? Yes.

She's going to frown at him. I should I do. Should I do. Is that a bluff? So to see if Theo heard it. Maybe a stealth. Technically, if you're if you're doing the thing where you hold your hand up and just like, yeah, I guess it would. I got a 19. That that beats his passive perception. OK, so Theo didn't hear it. No. So to be is going to kneel down kind of more to like Duncan's little be like, you know, that he's going to be the one in the middle of battle except taking up the damage for us. Right. So I believe he does have a say. Fine. Theo, you have a say, too.

Everyone has a say. But then there's four of us. How does that work? What if it's two on two? Do we fight? How about this? I'll abstain because I'm a female unless it requires requires somebody else stepping in to break up the penis measuring contest. And she's going to look down at Duncan and then kind of give a side eye to to Malchus. What are you saying? There's no leaders here, right? Right. OK. And I'll let you three vote because you've been together longer. And that way there won't be any ties. OK, OK. That sounds good. And then you know what? If we have an argument, how about if we have an argument that, yeah, you can step in because you're probably look, I'll be fair.

You're probably the most level headed person here. So, well, Malchus just kind of darts his eyes between Duncan and Tevin. I mean, I know for a fact that, you know, minotaurs are the smartest creatures in the land. So I'll give you that much and we'll figure this out as we go along. But I'm just saying I don't think we should have any leaders. I don't think any. If someone was to call me the leader, I'm cool with that, but I don't think any of us should call ourselves the leader. Thumbs up. Theo. Theo, I'm counting on you. And then Malchus just keeps walking.

OK, so as Malchus walks away, Duncan. I love this power struggle as Malchus walks away, Duncan just kind of like falls back and walks next to Theo. I would like to look at the dagger. I handed you the dagger. The dagger is in your possession now. So, yeah, that's fine. That's fine. Now that that's all resolved, she's going to look at the dagger closely. So I know you said silvered, but are there any kind of markings or is it an issue? It's not any kind of scabbard or sheath. No, it's just the dagger. It looks like maybe maybe it fell away from somebody they didn't notice or there.

It could have been it could have been during the struggle. It could have been during a few things. Do me a favor. Roll a perception check for me. Like when I get to roll stuff with high. There you go. Nice. So looking over this this dagger again, silvered, pretty rare. The hilt of it is meant for it looks like concealment. Like maybe this was something that someone someone had on them as it could even be an assassin's blade, something like that. Very, very kind of lightweight, small. Looks like it could be held up someone's sleeve, something like that. And and get really close range.

Probably a defensive weapon. Probably probably something used just just in case it's necessary. At the very at the very base of the hilt, there's a tiny inscription. There's a little A and P kind of carved into the bottom of it, which looks to be maybe maybe a signature or something like that. OK. So, Taveen's going to keep, you know, after she's looking at kind of following along. You say it was OK. So show kind of tap Duncan on the shoulder and ask him, hey, did Morgan say anything about anybody whose initials start with A and P? A and P? No, not that I recall.

OK. No. Those notes I have, Jason, I want to pull them out and look for any signatures or anything that has an A and P on it. OK. So while you're thumbing through that, you guys are kind of talking and walking, moving like back toward town. Walking and talking. I'll be talking to Theo. OK. So while while Taveen is leafing through those, you know. OK. Man, Theo. How you feeling, man? You doing all right? Holding up OK? Yeah, it's getting warm, but it's OK. I think I'm getting used to the armor. Yeah. You know, I was thinking I think you'd look really good with that dagger.

What do you think about that? Like if that dagger doesn't pan out, I think maybe I should give that dagger to you. I think it might help you. I mean, I have a sword. I'd rather not get closer to the things we have to fight. Oh, well, I mean, you could sell it. Maybe it's magical. We don't know. You know, it could be a lot of things. I just I was just look I'm just looking out for you. You know, I just I don't want I don't want you to be in any trouble, you know. So speaking of which, hey, how how how was that night a couple nights ago, huh? You're with with with your little friend in that in that room.

We never really got to talk about that. Oh, well, she was really nice. It was it was some and this big ear to your grin is going to she is going to kind of come over his face. It was really nice, actually. You know, you know, you know, you know who you know, who hooked you up on that, right? You know, and you put in Duncan put that his fist. We me hook me up. No, I mean, you know, I introduced you. Right. Oh, I thought you should. I thought you said she wanted to meet me. She did. No, no, no. I mean, we were talking and I said and I said, that's my friend Theo.

And she said, he's really cute. I'd like to meet him. And I said, well, I think I can get that. I think I can make that happen, you know? So, yeah, that's that's my my that's that's that's my little my little favor for you. You know, remember, remember, remember who did that for you? Remember that? Thank you, Duncan. I really appreciate it. I can tell you a secret. Sure. If I'm kind of glad we're heading back to during hollow because I think I want to see her again tonight. Oh, yeah. I think I think I think she'll probably be up that I have a this is going to be kind of weird question.

OK, just between bros. Right. Sure. This morning, this morning with the big the big. You have any idea what that big because because there was there was this thing that happened, right? It woke everyone up and everyone came out in the hallways and then you came up with this big, big smile on your face. And I was wondering, you have you have any idea what that was? We haven't really got to talk about that. I didn't do it. I mean, if that's if if that's what you're thinking, that wasn't me. I didn't do anything. No, I just thought I mean, I know how powerful you are, Theo.

So I just thought that maybe something happened in there and caused it. But if you're telling me it wasn't you, then I guess not. No, I mean, I've never made a whole building shake or anything. And everyone around town was talking about it. So, no, I don't think I did it. I mean, was it around that time, though? Like what? How what were you doing? Yeah. Because what were you what were you doing when that happened? I don't think it's relevant, really. I mean, it doesn't I I wasn't casting anything. No, no, no. Just between me and you, just a guy thing, right, Theo guys, because we're pros.

OK, the exact moment that that that everything should what happened? I need to know the details, man. I was in bed. And then when things started shaking, we thought it would be good to get out of bed. Were you just laying in bed? I was. Yes. OK, what was what was she doing? When things started shaking right before. We didn't notice the shaking at first. So I'm just OK, this you've never done that before, right? That was your first time with what was that? Have you ever done that before? Oh, it was my first time doing the things that we were doing. Wait, what have you what have you done other than that?

What what does this have to do with the shaking? Look, I've seen you do some weird stuff, right? Like we've seen you have pretty strong powers that you haven't shown us in the past. Right. Yeah, I don't have a lot of control over it, but yeah, my mom taught me some stuff. Yeah, well, and you had never done what you were doing in there before then, right? Cast lightning bolts. Wait, you were casting lightning bolts in the bedroom? No. No, no, no. I mean, you've never done what you were doing in the bedroom before that before last night, right? OK, I've never been with a drow lady before, and it was nice.

I liked it. I mean, she's she's very sweet. You ever been with any lady before? I had a girlfriend once. You ever been with a lady before? You kissed. OK, you want to know a secret? I haven't been with one either. No, don't tell anybody that, OK? This is me and you. Right. No, no, I won't tell a soul. No, I mean, I've turned him down all the time. I can only imagine. Right. But now here's my here's here's here's my here's here's what I'm trying to get at. Do you think that it's possible that whatever happened in that room this morning is what caused all of the shaking that woke everyone up?

I've never thought about it before. I I think it enhanced what was happening at the time. I don't think that I don't I don't mean that the shaking enhanced you. I mean, did you cause the shaking? Oh, no, I don't. I don't know. I don't think so. Do you feel any sensation right before the shaking? Oh, yeah. Was it more intense than it was five seconds before that? Then the shaking was the feeling that you had around the time of the shaking, was it more intense than right before the shaking? I see I'm an expert on this now. OK, I took a class on it. So I know everything there is to know about what you were doing in there.

OK, OK. And I'm trying not to use any, you know, words that might offend you. I know that you're, you know, sensitive. I don't want to try that. It's you know, it's it's between me and her for the most part. I mean, it's no offense. I mean, OK, you know what? You know what? I'm sorry, Theo. But Teveen. Yes, Duncan. Come here. OK. So walk up next to you. Oh, I love where this is going. I love Theo's reaction. Hey Teveen. Yes. Remember the shaking this morning? Yeah, it woke us all up. Right. I have a theory and I don't know how to really explain it to my good buddy Theo here.

OK. I'm thinking that Theo doing what he was doing might have had something to do with the shaking. Um, Teveen is going to crack into a wide grin and then just look at Theo and go, I'm going to take a guess and say there wasn't that much movement involved. Hey. No, no, no, no. And she's going to point to your wrists. Uh, not not not for me. No. OK, so I'm thinking there wasn't enough movement involved to cause that much shaking. Oh, but does Teveen know? Have you seen what he's capable of with lightning and all that kind of crap? That would be a no. I'm assuming.

Yeah, not because we didn't. I really I really didn't want to get him. Malchus. Me joining this conversation can only compound the time we are wasting. I am still moving, still walking towards. We're still walking. We're still walking. We're still walking. It's a couple hours walk. Yes, we have time. Join in the story time. Oh, good. What joy. OK, now we don't have I overheard any of this while just walking? I would say they're not being super quiet, I would say. And the more people that get involved, the redder that Theo is going to get. And he's just I we don't we don't have to do this anymore.

OK, let me see if I understand this correctly, and I will not use any euphemisms so that we do not get stuck in this circular vortex of conversational misery. Duncan is concerned that not concerned. I'm not concerned. This would be great. Duncan is enthusiastic that during your sexual encounter, you may have cast a magical spell. No euphemism intended that you did not know you were capable of to cause an earthquake. Is that remotely plausible? I'm not. I think it's I think a spell might be a euphemism. What I'm trying to say is, is that I think that his.

It's not called P. What is it called now? Oh, God. Hey, so this dagger. Let's talk about the dagger. Yeah, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. No, he doesn't have the hips for it. Couldn't have been. What's that thing? Not the pain, but the other thing I'm thinking that like remember, remember how you remember how when Brianna would get really angry and all of a sudden things would explode? That's kind of my hand over his mouth. It makes sense, guys. It makes sense. He has no might be psionic. Maybe something similar that is that is triggered by something other than anger, you know.

So look at a couple of points out the evening, the room may have filled with fog, but that's not shaking. I didn't shake anything. Wait, you feel the fog? What? OK, that's kind of funny. I got to admit, I never thought about using the magic to make special effects in there, but that's that's novel. I like that. All I'm saying is that maybe he's some kind of like not a not not a scion, but like something like a scion. But it has to do with like like, you know, getting in there. Special magic when he gets aroused. That's what you're saying. Yeah. Like a special kind of magic when he feels very excited.

Please stop. Right. So this dagger has. So is it is it is it a possibility? Are we are we because if so, then we could I guess we could figure out a way to use that to our advantage. It might be good in a fight. I don't know how work. What? How? I don't. We're just not it. I think you would know if he caused the shaking. I don't think he would. I don't know. I'm pretty sure. Pretty sure that level of shaking. He would know if it started from him. Plus, I think we all would have known because there may have been substantial damage to the house to cause that much shaking within town.

Just tell me one thing, Theo. Was it at the exact time? That's all I want to know. It was right around there. Yeah. And look, look, I figured it out. I figured it out. He caused the shaking. I really don't think I did. I really don't. We're going to go see what was her name? What was that? What was the what was the prostitute? We what? Oh, it's Malchus got me that. What was her name? Let's back up. What? Did you just call her a prostitute? No, I'm talking about the one that Malchus got for me that he tried to have me go into the room with and talk. What was her name?

Hazel is not a prostitute. OK, school teacher, whatever. Not under any circumstances. P.N. Hazel. We established that the first time. I'm happy to reiterate. She seems very lovely. So why do I. So when we get to dirt hollow, why don't we ask Hazel if this is possible? Because I'm just saying, if it's possible, we can use it to our advantage. And then Theo, he's immediately the most valuable person we've ever met in our lives. OK, I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is above Hazel's pay grade. Quick question, Jason. During any of this time, would I have found anything in those notes?

How distracted by all this would you be? I'm sure to be put her iPod on a long time. She's got her headphones in. There. OK, so the the letters that you're going to find, again, some of these are read a lot more like journal entries, that type of thing. And reading through these extensively, like you've had a while throughout this, throughout this. It's it's going to read a lot more like these are out of order. Some of them are dated. Some of them, you're guessing, were in some type of like binder or something, something to keep them in order. So they weren't necessarily.

Maybe it didn't need to be dated or something, but starting to put the pieces together. It's going to look like Derek's father died a while back and he was left in charge of this farm. And it sort of sounds like they they kind of hit hard times. They mentioned several attacks that they they were under attack. Something was attacking their their their their goats and sheep, things like that. And that they'd wake up and these animals were just drained dry. And in an attempt to in an attempt to sort of protect the farm and such, it looks like he hired a few different people to stand guard.

And at some point, those people were attacked. And a few of them were drug off. One of them was just outright murdered. And him and his wife apparently feared for their safety. So there were there were there were a few precautions taken. Like they tried to beef up security at the farm. That didn't work. A couple of silver weapons were purchased from Aubrey just in case they were they were attacked in their home. And those are that's going to be all the relevant stuff that you can find about that would even tie in tangentially to the to the dagger. Quick wished Aubrey?

Aubrey. Would I know anybody in Aubrey who has the initials of A&P? Do me a favor. I mean, as a character. Right. As a character. Do me a favor. Roll and let me see. Have you ever been to Aubrey? Did I travel through there on the way to try to catch up to them? It's a strong possibility unless you just headed south. Unless you just headed south around Overwatch. But I think it's a strong possibility you would go through Aubrey during all of that type of thing. OK. I probably I mean, I probably would have tried to stick closer to town since I was on my own and trying to follow a group.

So it's kind of suicide to just march out into the woods if there are any. I mean, I'm a minotaur. So still do me a favor. Roll an intelligence check and let's see if you can put the pieces together. Yeah, it's not a very high check. That's good because I don't have very high intelligence. And even lower check. Yeah. No, it's not. No. Tevin wouldn't wouldn't. No, no names would spring to mind. OK. Does Tevin want to share the information with anyone else? So I would. Yeah, definitely. When you guys kind of settled down your discussions, Tevin would be like, so as I've been trying to bring up this knife, guys.

I don't know if we're going to find many answers in Durnhollow, but Aubrey might be a better place to start because weapons were purchased from Aubrey. So there's a better chance of finding who purchased them, maybe. And she's going to produce the couple of notes that would relate to that and show them to kind of hold them out to anybody that is interested in taking a look at them. Well, we're already almost in Durnhollow. Well, yeah, I'm just saying that that might be another place to look if we don't find anything in Durnhollow. OK. Should we run some kind of check to see if we know the initials, Jason?

Do me a favor. Malchus and Duncan. Give me give me an intelligence check. Gotcha. Oh, yeah. Malchus would put these pieces together immediately and Duncan would be close behind. There is a little gnome in the town of Aubrey that runs a shop called the Trusty Blade, and his name is Artemis Peck. Malchus would probably remember him. Not crazy fondly. The last interaction that Malchus would have had with Artemis would be to pretty much shake him down and then get a lead on some blood root in Durnhollow, which Malchus would believe turned out to be a trap. OK, and he's in Aubrey Durnhollow.

He is in Aubrey. He runs a shop called the Trusty Blade. I was not there for that, but I must have heard about it, I imagine. Well, I mean, you'd know that like if you're like, OK, he is not shy about advertising for himself. And if you're looking for high end weapons and armor, that's who you're looking for in this general region. OK, so, OK, we're almost to Durnhollow. I know Theo wants to go to Durnhollow, correct Theo? Oh, yeah. Why don't we go to Durnhollow? We'll see if anyone knows about the the house that we were just at. And then after Durnhollow, we can make our way to Aubrey because number one, obviously this comes from there.

And number two, it's kind of on the way to Winterhaven anyway. Sound like a deal? That sounds fine with me. So, you know somebody in Aubrey that this may relate to? There is an individual, he matches up with the initials and he may have a better idea regarding the whereabouts of the blade and history, connections, things like that. Not someone I'm overly fond of meeting again. But yes, Artemis Peck. So, so Duncan goes, kind of looks at Devine and goes, OK, so now that we know where it's from, can I can I have it back now, please? Oh, yeah, she's going to turn it and hand it back to you.

Wait. Yeah, sure. That's I have no need for a dagger. Awesome. Duncan takes it, puts it back in his jacket. Want to buy a watch? Sorry. So we go into Durnhollow? Sounds like it. OK. So you guys are marching this entire time, just being loud as shit. You will arrive back to Durnhollow, though, with very little incident. A good portion of the day is gone like this. I'd say this is like noonish, maybe a little afternoon, somewhere in there. How long of a march is it to Aubrey? You're on foot. You're probably looking at the better portion of a day, maybe. You know, yeah, it's probably you're probably going to burn all your daylight getting to get into Aubrey and it would be night by the time you got there.

That's if you hustled. And they want to just rest here this afternoon. So here's a thought. Here's a thought. Tavine, Malchus, if you guys want to maybe go out and see if anyone here knows about any incidents that took place on that farm out there. I'll take Theo back to the inn. And he puts like air quotes. And I'll I'll ask around there. If if that sounds OK, is that that's not a good plan. That's fine by me. Maybe it maybe at the end of the day, we can all meet back there, rest up and then head out to Aubrey in the morning. OK, could I look into like maybe a wagon or carriage or some sort of like a caravan so that we can travel to Aubrey in numbers off our feet on wheels?

Oh, sure. Yeah. Rather than I mean, look, we're level 12 now. All right. Like I would rather. Number one, I'm done. I'm above walking. I'm done. I'm done with it. Use your wings then. Geez. I just I can only use those for like 10 minutes at a time. And then I they're blown for the day. I miss little Sebastian. I don't know what you guys did with them, but I haven't seen him since I came back. I just I want to sit in a carriage. I want to watch the road to Aubrey go by and I want to drink from a flask while I do it. And that that is that is what tomorrow is going to look like for Malchus if he has his way.

We could hook that up. We absolutely could. I want a carriage. I want my flask. I want like maybe a fruit platter served halfway through. Like if they've got a thing that would be ask you a question. Are you looking to buy a carriage that you guys will just own? It'll just be the G1 carriage. Or are you looking to rent one? Oh, my gosh. We could own a carriage, you guys. It might be pretty great. I'd pitch in on that. I mean, we like we'd have to get the horses taken care of every time we got to a town. But also we'd have like like the group one mobile. Yeah. We have draft horses like big ones.

The Clydesdales. Oh, yeah. I mean, you wouldn't break any you wouldn't break any land speed records, but I mean, you'd be traveling. Well, they're hauling a freaking minotaur. I mean, I don't think they're going to break land speed anyways. Theo, what are your feelings on horses? I like horses. He loves goats. Yeah. Never thought it might be fun to drive a carriage and watch the world go by. Yeah, I mean, it beats walking. I see. There we go. Enthusiasm. I think it's a sad look on his face right now. He's a sad look on his face as to be in hands the gold over.

Hmm. And what in the world is the matter? Look, I'll pay the money, but you guys lost my horse. I didn't know you had a horse. I look at Malchus. I had Sebastian and I told you to take care of him and I haven't seen him since I got back. Jason, what happened to Sebastian? Oh, good Lord. I think we left the horses with Tessia when we went into the forest. I believe so. Oh, Duncan. Sebastian is fine. My mother is taking care of Sebastian. OK. OK. As long as Sebastian is fine. And then Duncan reaches in and grabs just a sack of random gold and hands it over to Malchus.

As long as Sebastian is fine, you can do what you need to do and get us a carriage. Excellent. Theo, your share will be covered by your driving. I'm just I'm I'm a little gold light right now. That's all I knew. That's that's why you you know what? That's why you cover your way with your service. Can you drive, Theo? Yeah. OK, Theo, Theo has animal kinship. I can see it. I look into his eyes and he's he he is one with the beast. Trust me, he's he will be stupendous. Thanks, Malchus. I I think I can I can do this. I could do a good job. Malchus just gives him the thumbs up and kind of just like like confident, confident smile.

OK, so, Malchus, you work on getting the carriage. We're going to purchase a carriage. Yes. Tevien, you see if you know, you see if anyone knows anything about that farm. I'll go find us a place to stay for the night. Deal? Sounds good. And break. Who are we following? Yeah, I mean, Malchus doesn't need to roleplay purchasing a carriage. Hey, Jason, buy a pretty nice carriage. OK. And some like good, sturdy, good, sturdy like Clydesdales, like giants of horses. So quick question about that. What what would it take to drive a wagon? To to pilot a wagon, you mean?

Yeah, like do you have to have a certain skill or be trained in anything or? It's whatever animal handling is under probably nature. Yeah, it's probably like a nice nature check, something like that. And we'll have we'll have the. Like, here's the thing. These these horses would be pretty trained to do this one thing. So you'd have to be like astoundingly bad at like you'd have to be like, OK, let's say like Draconis tried to punch his horse to death. That's how bad you'd have to be before. It's like, oh, man, hey, this is going to be fine. You guys, it's not like Theo is comically incompetent.

Right. Right. Right. Just for the record, I am trained in nature, guys. I mean, if you want to drive it. OK. OK. Well, you two can take turns. Then we can we can make more miles in the day. Yeah, exactly. He can nap. I can drive. I can that he can drive. You guys get me. I can I can sing. You can sing. I'll go buy some like dried meats and candies. It'll be a wonderful trip. It'll be. It'll be stupendous. We are going to have the greatest family carriage ride we have ever had. Holiday. Oh, just MALCAs crawling through the desert with. OK, well, Jason, hmm. Well, I am well, I'm getting this carriage after it, but while I'm alone getting this carriage and no one else is around, I ask if that can get if I can get a big like ornate MG monogrammed on the side of each each side of the carriage.

Sure. Is it the family truckster? Is that what you're going to get? Good winter havens version of Marty Moose be let's see, this is this is this is like our group RV now. We're on a quest, a quest for fun. OK, if you haven't seen National Lampoon's vacation at this point, you have no idea what the fuck it's been a long time. Sorry. Yeah, I've seen it, but it's been a while. Yeah. Oh, if there's hold on. OK, hold on. This carriage straps onto the roof. This carriage is getting more elaborate as it goes. OK, the monogramming of the MG on the outside is in silver and the benches inside the cushions are purple crushed velvet.

Wow. OK, the pin will be expensive. Unfortunately, unfortunately, the outside is metallic P. That's the no, no, do not take this away from me. It's the first thing I've heard him get excited about in a long time. Let him have it. OK, let's OK. This is going to be interesting. Just for the record. Yeah, I say I handed over 300 gold. I remarked it off on my sheet. Let's let's let's let's start with Marcus. I do want to I want to not necessarily roll the entire play role play thing out. But like I want to like you're rattling the things that you want off to this person and that like this would be like a stable master.

The Dernhalle's version of that. They do have horses and stuff like that. They do. They have carriages that go back and forth to different towns because one Dernhalle lost a lot of resources recently. And two, they don't really have like they don't make anything here in Dernhalle. So it's not they have to they have to get crops and stuff from outside and lumber to rebuild and all that. So Overwatch is helping out with 90 percent of that. But they're there. They were doing stuff before that. So you're talking to this guy and you're telling him what you want.

You're rattling off. And he's just going to go giant. M.G. OK. And just like marking all this down. Not I mean not giant and tasteful, you know. About the size of half my forearm. And he's going to. Yeah. He's going to measure your forearm. Just. OK. Nine inches might actually be really long. Yeah. That's the three quarters of a foot. It's not that big. OK. And how will you be paying today, sir? Gold pieces. All right. OK. All right. And he's like, you can tell he's doing like mental math, that type of thing. So two horses. Alterations made to a carriage. And a carriage.

The initial feed for the horses as well. You want the carriage stocked? Yes. Supplies for ourselves as well. And only basic supplies here. I'll take care of some specialties on my own time. Right. You wouldn't want this to get gaudy. I'd say thirteen hundred gold. And how how quickly can you serve my need? If I needed to leave tomorrow, would this be would you be able to do this by tomorrow? We'd have to work through the night, but we can get it done. Tell you what, charge you an extra hundred for a rush job. Do you have any examples of your past work? I just want to make sure that I'm working with someone whose sensibilities about the visual appeal of this carriage will match my own.

That is hurtful. That is thorough. I take great offense to your thought that I might be judging you. Would you would you purchase a carriage of this opulence without knowing the carriage maker? I would not purchase a carriage of this opulence, sir. Well, I take it you will presume my authority to look into such things. I have made a few carriages before. On this level, I would say. Did one for my brother Rusty in in Aubrey. Still uses it. Held up for years. And a few passers by. No one in the area, though. I'll tell you what, you can come visit halfway through the job.

If you don't like it, then we'll just stop. And I'm out half my money. I won't charge you a thing. That, sir, is a deal. He'll hold at his hand. I'll shake it. I'll get to work. So it's a little bit afternoon right now. I should come close about the time the taverns close. Sounds about right. I will see you then. And I look forward to admiring your craftsmanship. That's good save. This guy just does not know how to take how to take care of it. He's very prideful in his work. I expect his pride to be validated. OK, well, let's catch up with what was to be doing again?

She's going to start asking around town about the Elf Talon farm and probably try to follow up with Laren. OK, let's catch up with Duncan and Theo first, and then we'll we'll we'll catch up with Tevine afterwards and probably wrap things up for the day. OK, so Duncan and Theo are heading to the inn, right? Yes. Theo would walk in trying to play it cool, like like like, oh, we're back here. Oh, just kind of like just just just like like it wasn't something they planned on doing. Like, oh, we ended up back here. Huh? Weird. Like doing that thing where you look around all weird and stuff.

Like if someone trips and they look back at the thing that they tripped over, like it wasn't supposed to be there or something. What would Duncan be doing? OK, Duncan is immediately looking for the the drow that Theo was with. OK, that would be sespa. That's the same thing Theo's looking for. Do me a favor. Give me a perception check. OK, I can do that. My thing will open. There it is. There it is. 15. OK, so looking around this bar, you're going to you're going to notice a few things. It's not super dead in here, but it is like it's like the early like afternoon crowd.

It's not. Durnhollow used to be a heavy drinking town. And now people are starting to get back on their feet. A lot of people are starting to get jobs so they don't have time to drink all day. So you're going to notice a few people in here, a couple of people kind of keeping to themselves. There's a there's a couple of people at the table near the door. There's going to be a drow lady in the back corner who looks fairly uncomfortable. And you're going to see a few of the a few of the ladies kind of walking around the second floor that night, that second floor balcony that leads to rooms and such.

You're going to see them walking back and forth with patrons. And Cezpa is going to be coming down the stairs like to the to the first floor. OK. OK, so so I look over at Theo. Theo. Yeah. OK. And I point out I point at Cezpa. You see it right there. I do. OK, here's what I need you to do. OK, you won't play this cool, right? Right. Yeah. No, I mean, I don't want to come off as needy. Right. Right. Right. So here's what you do. You see the drow and I point over to the one that you said looks kind of uncomfortable. Yeah. OK. Go over and start talking to her. OK. But I mean, I wanted to talk to Cezpa.

No, no, no, no, no, no. I understand. I understand. I understand. But we're playing it cool. OK. You got to make you got to make her think that you don't want her. Right. And that's going to make her want you more. You know, I'm saying that seems confusing. OK. Look, if you go up there and you start talking to her and stuff, right. You just go up. She's going to think that you're too needy, that you're too like it's only it hasn't even been a day. Right. Like it's been just over a day. But if you but so if you come in and you seem like you want someone else, she's going to get jealous.

So, OK. OK, so if I show no interest in her. Right. Then she'll show interest in me. Right. Yes. OK. OK. What are you going to be doing? I'm going to talk to her. Oh, no, no, no, I'm not going to I'm not going to I'm not going to do anything. I'm talking to her because it's going to be I'm just making casual conversation like I'm a friend. Right. And then I'm going to see if she brings you up and she brings you up. Then I'll be like, oh, he's over there. I can take you over to him if you'd like and that kind of thing, you know. But but it's going to be like I'm going to play kind of the go between between the two of you.

OK. OK. You're going to put in a good word for me, though, right? Oh, oh, yeah, absolutely. But but I'm not going to tell her that you've been talking about it. Right. And I will be like, he said you were cool, but, you know, you just trust me on this one. OK, sure. OK, OK. I'll go talk to the lady in the corner. Sure. Yeah. Go talk to her. OK. And I'll be right with you. OK. OK. OK. So where are we going here? Let's flip a coin. Let's let's let's go with Theo real quick. Let's go with this is such a clusterfuck. This is going to be terrible. OK, so Theo is under the impression that he is going to be watched the entire time by Sespa, so he's going to try to confidently stride across the bar and have a seat near near near this lady.

But it looks like an animated suit of armor is just sort of like waddling across the across the floor here and then sort of reaches out to pull out the chair that that would be across from this this drow woman. Did do you mind if I sit here for a second? I can't really explain why. OK, so she's going to kind of jump a bit almost like she was kind of focused, like leaning over like a notebook and working on something and they're not like clearly wasn't really keyed into anything that was going on. So just kind of going to jump up and then like stare at him for a few seconds.

I didn't mean to scare you. I'm really sorry. My friend told me to come over here because there's there's a lady, but I can't let her know that I want to talk to her. So if I don't pay any attention to her and I make her think that I'm not interested, then apparently she's supposed to get interested in me and want to talk to me and then we'll be talking. That sounds confusing. That's what I said. I don't think that's how that works. I don't either. She's going to kind of like glance over and I guess that she see Duncan and Zespa and. I would say, yeah, like it's not the bar is pretty empty.

So, yeah. You'd probably see more of a hat talking to a drow woman like over the bar. Is that your friend over there? Yeah, that's that's Duncan's hat. That's. He's he's a really good guy. He's going to put in a word for me. So he paying for you or paying for what? Um, he's going to kind of pause for a second and. You do know what this place is, right? I mean, it's. It's an inn. Yeah, I mean, well, OK, it's a bar and an inn, obviously, because we're sitting in the bar portion. But yeah. Mm hmm. I'm Theo, by the way. I'm sorry. It's very rude. Aria, this this is a brothel.

I'm pretty sure that's its main function, actually. She that woman over there is the employee of this place, like a barmaid. Not exactly. I'm sorry. I mean, it's kind of obvious if like. I'm sorry. She's just kind of kind of like stop talking and just like. You're going to watch you're you're going to watch Theo do some math, like just just kind of add up the situation. Oh. OK. Aria is going to kind of look even more panicked, like she was like, oh, I guess just I I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you. I mean, that's most people when they come here looking for a woman.

That's what they're looking for. I assume anyways. I don't I don't guess there's anything I can do. I feel like I just mess things up. No, it's not your fault. I am. I'm going to I'm going to take a walk, actually. I'm really sorry to have bothered you. No, no, it's it's fine. I'm sorry about your situation. And he's going to he's going to let's see something here. He's going to attempt to stand. He is going to attempt to stand and just sort of rock back and forth, like give it like two or three really good tries and then just just kind of get almost up and then just kind of plop back down in the seat.

OK, I'm going to sit here for a minute. Just are you OK? I'm still getting used to this armor. I'm not getting up from a seated position is difficult. It might not be fitted right. I don't think that's a problem you should be having. I mean, I don't really know much about heavy armor, but that seems kind of counterintuitive. At this point, do me a favor. Roll a perception check. Oh, yes. Yeah. You know that thing people do when they're getting ready to cry, but they don't want to show someone that they're going to get ready to cry. They kind of like start looking like down like and around just like, yeah, I know that.

Yeah, he looks kind of desperate to get out of this situation and he's just sort of trapped here. Let's let's let's shoot over to Duncan for just a second. OK, can we at least start the conversation before all that stuff happens? Oh, yeah. OK, yeah. They would be taking place the exact same time. Like, yeah. OK, good. OK, so so Duncan sees Cesspa. And kind of goes up and does his does his trademark tug on her. I love that Duncan thinks she's just walk up to random women and just like tug on their stuff. Oh, again, the exact same reaction of like, hey, fucker.

Oh, OK. And then just seeing it's Duncan, just she is going to do the exact same thing before and just kind of tuck the hair back behind the ear and then like crouch down a bit. But bless his heart. OK. Hey, hey, Cesspa. How have you been? I've been great. How are you? We've been good. Just dealing with some lizard men, you know. So I was I have a question for you. What can I do for you? OK, so remember when you were with my my friend over there and I point over at a. A few. OK. Did any OK. We were having a little conversation about that shaking this morning, you know, and I was just wondering, it's basically a bet.

I need you to settle a bet. Basically, do you think it's possible that he caused it? Oh, I, I do like to keep things private between me and clients. There's the level of discretion. I give her 100 gold. OK, well. And she's going to tuck it away a while. But in your case, I think I can make it the entire time. Just very. Your friend. How can I put this delicately? Your friend was into some interesting things last night. And he did cast a couple of spells, but honestly, I think it was more to show off. It made him feel comfortable in the situation. I don't think he had anything to do with the shaking, though.

There was shaking, but it wasn't coming from him. Do you do you know what the shaking was from? No, actually, it's been the talk of the town today. OK, I was just wondering because we had a we had a little bet going about it, and I thought maybe he had some secret powers that he wasn't telling us about or something like that. So what she's out of curiosity spells. What do you mean he was casting spells? Oh, he had this thing where he wanted me to stalk him, so he filled the room full of fog. He had me sneak up on him and you can guess what happened from there.

Wow. OK. Oh, wow. OK. Friends actually quite gifted. Really? Like like you like you enjoyed yourself like you. I wouldn't mind going again if that's where you're headed. Well, I mean, I don't want look, he really wants to. But the thing is, is that like I he doesn't know that I paid you last time. So like, I mean, I'll pay you again, but I really don't want him to know that I'm paying for it. I mean, if you do it for free, that's awesome. But, you know, I, I, I, I want him to be happy. But, you know, you get it. You know what I'm saying? Well, I like your friend and he is gifted, but he's not that gifted.

Hmm. So I guess how much would we be talking for you to not say that I paid you? Same price as before. I wouldn't charge you any extra. OK, but you have to be make sure that you're even if you like, make sure that he doesn't think that I'm paying for this. OK, OK. Dunking hands are the money. And and by the way, who's that person that he's sitting over there with? You know her? She wandered into town a little earlier. Don't know her. Try to try to get rid of her, because I here's here's what I told him. I told him that I told him that you that I was going to come over.

He needed to act cool. Right. And act like he didn't want to see you. And that I was going to talk him talk to you and talk him up and have you go over and kind of like really come on strong because he you thought you didn't. He didn't want you. And I basically I just want to build him up a little bit, you know. So. So if you could if you could kind of work on that, that'd be that'd be great. I'll see what I can do. And hey, while I have you here, do you know anything about there's a little farm outside town that we were checking out that looked like got attacked by some lizard men?

Do you know anything about that? When you say lizard men? Huh? What are you saying? Well, I mean, lizard men, they come and they take over other people's bodies. And it was it's a farm outside town. There were a couple of dead bodies outside. We're just we're we assumed it was obviously lizard men that did it. Talk to my friend out there about it. Are you talking about the old elf town place? Yes. I don't know anything about lizard men. But I do know they've been having some troubles. They used to get visitors from town, but I don't think anyone's been there in weeks.

What kind of troubles? Attacks, things like that. It was rumored for a while that bandits put a hit out on them, that they owed some money to someone. But it's probably just something a little more petty. Is there anybody that we could talk to about it that would know more about it? I don't know if anyone from town has visited them, but you can ask around. OK. OK, well, maybe I'll maybe I'll do that while you visit with my friend Theo over there. How does that sound? I think that sounds lovely. OK, thanks. Thank you. Thank you so much again. I can't I can't thank you enough.

It's quite all right. How's about how's about we catch up with Tevin? This is this is going to get ugly, I think. This is... Which part? Not the Tevin part. OK. What am I doing? Poor Theo. We make him cry. And we don't get goats. Jason. I've only seen you. The goats? That ain't my fault. That's... The lizard man I know. So let's have Tevin roll a streetwise check. Let's see if she can get the lay of the land. Let's see if... All right. Where are my skills? There's my skills. Streetwise with all my charisma of a minotaur. That is not terrible. I have a negative one to charisma.

I know. Which is a shame because you're not not charismatic. I'm just what seven foot something minotaur? I think that's the thing. I think. Yeah. I think people are people are a little racist sometimes. And you just big and fluffy. So I would say Tevin would be asking around and there'd be little bits and bobs of information. People pass through, people talk, that type of thing. So Tevin would find out that the the farm itself was looked at as not a very healthy place to go stay. If you're if you're wandering around in that area that that Derek would visit town from time to time.

And that stopped about two weeks ago, somewhere in there. And that no one no one's been there since. No one. You know, they haven't heard word and no one's checking on them, essentially. A lot of people just figure they're there. They're they're held up. They're keeping to themselves or that the worst has happened. So the people who are thinking the latter are right, obviously. But yeah, you get in the sense that they didn't have really strong community ties here in Durren Hollow toward the end. OK. Can I also look for Laren? Sure. Oh, yeah, absolutely. Yeah.

She wouldn't be hard to find. Kinda. Kinda. She's the type to constantly be floating around the center of town. And you're it sounds like you're always in the midst of hearing her bark at someone just kind of like yelling, "Hey, hey, put that down." That type of thing. Just very authoritative. Not not mean necessarily. Just. You're getting the sense that she takes no shit. That that type of vibe. OK. So I would just approach her and wait for her to finish barking orders at whoever she is. And then just, "Good afternoon, Laren." And she would turn around. Oh, hey, you're still in town?

Well, we visited the Elf Town Farm. Not a pleasant sight. So I was trying to follow up on that and also follow up on if you heard anything more since this morning. She's going to fold her arms. What'd you find at the farm? Well, to cut it short, there was definitely some kind of altercation. Looks like it may have been broken into. A dead body that was drained. You remember the dwarf with our party? He's convinced it's lizard men. It's what? Lizard men. And Tovian's going to just shake her head, like, "Don't ask me." I have other ideas. Maybe vampires. Yeah. And so there's a female body that had been drained and then it looked like another body had been carried out into the field.

Not sure what happened after that, though, because there was no... Sorry, not a body. A person was, like, drug out to the field, fighting. But there was no body, so not really sure what happened there. I knew of them, but it's not exactly like we were close. I've been stationed here for just a short amount of time, so... The only thing I've ever heard about the farm was that it isn't safe there, which apparently pans out. I see. So we haven't heard anything more by anybody passing through or anything, then have you? No one has been there recently, but I can tell you, it's...

Vampires are a hell of a lot more likely than lizard men? Yeah, I... Your guess is as good as mine as to why that would be the first assumption, other than the fact that there was a man lurking around Morgan? Something? Instantly, she's gonna roll her eyes. Yeah, he came through town about four days ago. He's a moron. I agree with you on that one. Look, I'll tell you what, you should probably head to Aubrey if you haven't already. If Vampires is the best lead you got, they might be able to help you. Okay, yeah, and we did find a dagger that looked of quality, and there were some initials on it that a couple of the members think were made by gentlemen in Aubrey.

Artemis something? Yeah, I've heard of them. Okay. What about the rumblings this morning? Any updates on those? There hasn't been anything since, and we've looked all over town and we can't find the source of it. The best we can think of is some large-scale earthquake. But there's never been earthquakes here, correct? Not that I can remember, no. Well, if I find anything or anybody in my party finds anything, we'll definitely let you know. If you hear anything more on the Elf Talon farm, we do plan to head to Aubrey. So maybe we'll, if you could send word or something.

Sure. It's in the next day or two. If we find anything substantial, I'll send a runner your way. That'd be great. And Taveen will hold out a hand, you know, shake it. Yeah, she'll shake right back. Good luck. Thank you, Laren. How's about we call it a night? We wrap things up for the evening. All right. Yeah, because I feel like everyone's starting to get a little tired. Yeah. Yeah, and that's okay. We're gonna, we'll pick things up. I think it's a good place to pick things up for Theriathon. I can talk about tiefling candy live. Yes, you can. Are you getting me my minotaur candy?

Well, but here's the thing. I didn't know about your minotaur candy when I went on my errands. But you lived with Yenward. But he never talked about it. I mean, he just ate a lot of meat or something. I don't know. Was he a vegetarian? I think he was a vegetarian. Yeah. So I don't know. I don't know. Either way, he didn't indulge himself in that regard. This would be a great opportunity for bonding between Malchus and Tiffany. Talk about candies. All right. We'll get more logistics, but... Hey, Jason. Yes, sir. Theriathon, we're just gonna, are we just gonna be picking up like right there?

I think so, yeah. Because we kind of got to your character. I feel bad that the first words out of your character's mouth were kind of a bummer. I feel bad. He was a prostitute. I mean, it fit. Like, it makes sense. Oh, yeah. I don't know what else to say. I'm glad that my awkward nervousness could translate well into her character and I can just go with that. Here's what's gonna be funny is that, like, I know this character is gonna be a lot more lighthearted than Diana was. But from everyone's first impression, it's just gonna be, "Oh, my God, it's another Diana." Just because the first thing you did was just break Theo's heart.

Yeah, my thoughts are your fault. Yeah. It's not, yeah, that was a softball that, like, it's like, I don't blame her for swinging at. Like, it's one of those things that's like, "Well, yeah, duh. We're in a brothel, dummy." Yeah, like, that's like... Oh, yeah. I just think it's a funny... It's not funny, but it's an unfortunate situation. I was like, "Oh, my God, let her speak at least five more words so that they know that it's not the same thing." [Laughter] No, but it's great. Well, I'm gonna let you guys go. Thank you very much. I'm gonna take these nine files that I have now and I'm gonna...

Yeah, I was about to say good luck. No, it'll be fine. At least as long as the session itself was good that we did, I'm fine with it. Yes. Okay. I will talk to you guys later.
