So thank you everybody out there who has supported us on Patreon. It is, uh, it's what keeps us going. What we did want to talk to you about really quickly before we get to today's episode is there's a survey that is on our forums, Facebook, Twitter, pretty much everywhere you can find us.

And it would really help us kind of shape and change the show in our off-season. We're currently getting all your opinions, what you like, what you don't like. And we're going to use that to make some changes. Yeah. I feel like it was not necessary for this. Oh. Okay. [laughs] Um, if you go to our forums at dandrpodcast.com then you click the little forums button. It'll take you right there. It's right at the top of the page. Or follow us on Facebook. That is also pinned. I believe it's probably our pinned tweet too. You can check that, but I bet it is because Jason's got his s*** down.

So thank you guys very much. Please let us know what you think. We already had two people. We put it up like five minutes ago and two people responded already. Yeah. You guys are awesome and it really, really helps us out. So thank you guys and we hope you enjoy today's episode. Bye. Let's do that thing where we go around the table and introduce ourselves. I'm Jason. I'm the Dungeon Master. Going around the table, start with James. Your enthusiasm is unparalleled. I'm so pumped right now. Fantastic. We're closing in guys. Closing in. We're in single digits. Hey, it's James.

I play Dagon, the Eladrin Sire. And Susan. Hey, I'm Susan Spinnator and I play Heirlove Grimnast, the Tiefling Invoker. I think I broke my own headphones. Shh. Shh. I can take another one that won't hurt people's ears. [Laughter] I could just lower the volume, I think? [Laughter] And Ian. Hey, I'm Ian. I play Khaldun Halec, the half-elf sorcerer. And Xavier. Hello, I'm Xavier and I play Agtharonas, the Revenant Cleric. And Alex. Hey, I'm Alex and I play Brailen, the Halfling Bard. And Jamie. Hi, I'm Jamie Vonaas. I play Kord Forestkeeper, the Goliath Seeker. Last time on the show.

You had a lengthy session out at sea. Lots of stuff. Lots of revelations. In the course of that lengthy session, you essentially came to terms with Kolas and Kria after not saving her life once, but saving her life twice. Erolove essentially took a bolt to the neck for Kria and then Kori brought her back with the Resurrection Scroll. Using that item, it is gone. There are now, I mean, well, you don't know how many left in the world there are, but you know that that one is no more. Let's see. Leon was punched into the sea. Let's see. Nobody was recovered, but I mean, you're in the middle of the ocean.

There's, yeah, that does leave the demons below deck holding Stormrender, keeping guard over it. And that is where I'd like to start things again. It is evening, the 22nd of Thorim. You have about one and a half days remaining in your journey until you get to the continent of Talor. What would you guys like to do here? How would you like to start? I think if we go through this, yeah, it would be in our best interest to just not meet up with the Lion Folk. That's a good way to start off our relationship with the continent of Talor in which we cannot dock in any safe port ever.

But what I was going with is like, I'm with you, James. Oh, Dagon. I don't know if I'm character or not. I think we're character. OK, OK. OK, cool. If we do like resolve this fight at sea, then it'll be easier for us to dock and like let the dust settle. Yeah. And worse comes to worse, we push them off. They're going to sink. Yeah. If we can like use the sea to our advantage and like some of those teleporting powers again, could be useful. Jason, Dagon is drawn to the Aladrin now. He just knows which way to go or how did that work? That's pretty much the shape of it.

It was it was a thing where the witch kind of touched you and then it was you can you can close your eyes and just see the destination in your head. And every time that you kind of take a few moments and compose yourself, it's similar to similar to the magic tied to the gates where you just kind of have that bracelet. It's like, huh, I OK. Yeah, no, I kind of feel where to go. It's not an actual physical pull. It's not like jutting Dagon's arm out or something. It just like, oh, no, I can. It's this way. I just know. OK. Ah, Dagon, is your bracelet pulling you towards Talor?

I was just thinking about that. Yeah. Last time he said Jason said like two sessions ago, it was pointing him east, which is where we were going. Right. Right. Still still holding east? Dagon would close his eyes and just kind of get a sense of of this bracelet. That pull is definitely getting stronger. It feels like the closer you get to Talor, the stronger this pull is, the more days you've been out at sea. It's something you can kind of feel. It's getting almost similar to the feeling you had when you were in when you were when you were standing near the gate in the evergreen.

That close. Yeah, not quite that close, but you're getting that similar you're getting that similar feeling where like when you were, I would say in Aubrey or so, maybe maybe a little further out, you could just kind of it's like it's a similar feeling. You felt this before. OK, so we totally need Stormrender to power the gate. That's not untrue. OK, OK, I think we're going to talk to Creon Colas first. Yeah, let's let's bring him in on our battle plan, a battle meeting. We'll have a team meeting in Dagon's quarters. Aren't those below deck? Yeah, we'll just whisper.

I mean, unless these, well, I don't know, do these things have super hearing? We could probably just have if they do, you guys are fucked because I feel safer away from them. OK, team meeting, you know, Al Fresco above deck. Dagon will turn to Colas and Creon and everyone, really. I think we're past the point of no return here. We've put three people's lives on the line now and he'll look at Colas and Kreia. I think I think we have a duty now to relieve Stormrender from these demons. Colas, Colas would speak up. You understand they're not going to just hand it over, right?

Oh, really? I thought we were going to ask them with polite words there, Colas. And then Brelyn's going to kind of snarkily smile back. I am all too aware of the danger involved. But I can't think that your lives and Tessia's life has been put in danger for nothing. We cannot allow that weapon to fall into the hands of the lion folk or anyone else. All right. Then how do you want to proceed? I can get in there. I can try to grab it. And now I'm open for suggestions. Well, it's very noble of you to suggest to go in on your own, but that's also very risky. I if there is any way I think we need to bring them out of that room, repeat that Leon little incident and use the water to our advantage.

If two of them stay there, maybe we can at least fight the two that are guarding the door before. And save the rest for later. I don't know how they think. I don't know how what their tactics are. But if their their mission is to guard that chest, I doubt they'll come out of there, all four of them together. Brelyn's going to look to Errol and ask her, hey, quick thought, you know, magic stuff, right? And then he's going to look at Kalton also. Well, you too there, Chilli. You guys have a general understanding of how magic works. Yeah, generally. OK, well, I mean, I'm sure Errol have seen me do this, but Kalton hasn't.

I got this thing where I strike a specific tune and I can control somebody. How would that work if they're already being controlled by magic? And he's going to have his air quotes as he says this. I mean, you guys think it's worth a shot or? Would that work, Jason? Roll an Arcana check, both of you. Dagon. I am trained in Arcana. Hey, you come from a society of magic users. Hit me. Just didn't happen to learn how to use it. Oh, there we go. Well, yeah, we know shit, but Dagon knows. I know more than the actual magic users. It was part of my school. You're saying you're better than us?

I am an Eladrin. Well, it finally comes out. So Dagon would know that there's a lot of checks and balances to it, but the basic rule is you're being in tune with the arcane. Essentially, your power would have to be stronger than the power of the thing controlling them to begin with. It would have to supersede. So in this case, it's just a real long shot. Unless Braylin's having an exceptionally good day. Well, it's how charming Braylin is versus how intelligent this controller is, because I am charisma based. Damn, I'm not the most charming guy, but I mean, I'm pretty up there.

I do keep charming. Yeah, but does the universe think I'm more charming than the controller is intelligent? I don't know. That's a good question. And it might be a group of people too. Oh my god, a group of controllers? Like a little fucking covenant? I'll slap them in the mouth. So worst case, he tries this and fails. Nothing happens. What is it you're trying too, Alex? What's the... Who's Alex? Who are you talking about? We're not a character. Song of Discord, I can target one creature and it's dominated until the end of my next turn. And then what I can do is the target makes a basic attack against an enemy of my choice as a free action.

As soon as it happens. Oh, okay. So you want to dominate one of those guys is what you're saying. I want to dominate everybody who's my enemy all the time. Yeah, just dominate one of those animated demon guys and then make him attack the other one if there's only two in there. That's our problem solved. That's a good distraction. Yeah. Is there any way that they would leave that room? They've stayed in place for days. Well, if we can get that box out of there, they most certainly will follow it, I would assume. She's going to look to Dagon and she's going to say, "If you could get in there, I could get you out.

You remember when Braylin was falling off the ship? I have something to get you out of there." That could work. I can teleport in. I can relieve the box of its contents with a quick punch. And if you could get me out. And the rest of us can be here in case something goes wrong with that and we'll be ready. It's risky, but it's worth a try. You ready to put this plan into motion? Yeah. I mean, if everyone's cool with it, I'm good with just fast-forwarding to everyone's set up and ready. Yes. I try this and just quickly go to a coalition in Korea and say nod to them.

Nobody is forcing you to fight with us, although we absolutely appreciate your help. And while coming from Onakal, I believe that everybody deserves a second, third or fourth chance if they fight for it. And he puts his hand on Kollis and then nods to Kria. So they would both nod back and Kria would speak up. We're not just going to stand here on this ship while everyone does the fighting for us. And again, we owe you. But we've been talking. Once whatever happens on the ship happens and we're done with it, we're probably going to be breaking off into lore and just running.

Very well. We probably will have to handle the Black Hand so you can leave that to us. And he turns around to the rest of the party and says, whatever happens today, whatever happens to me today, the Athanasius estate is all yours. And he motions to the party. If I don't make it back, and you do, I'd like to entrust it to you. The brand is going to speak up. Cool, man. Thanks. That's kind, Acta Ronis, but I have no intention of visiting your estate without you by our side. You were missing out. Dagon will walk up to him and put a hand on his shoulder. Think of all the battles we've had so far.

Think of where you've come back from. We'll be going to Onikal, but it'll be together. He does a power handshake, power clasp, and nods. Don't worry Dagon, I'm going home with you. He'll nod. And I guess he'll turn to Kori. Ready? As I'll ever be. Okay. I suppose we should do this. Okay. Dagon, Erolove, Acta Ronis, Kori are going to go below deck. Kaldin, Kolis, Kria, and Brailin are going to stay above deck. Go ahead and position yourselves how this would look. Okay. Before I go in there, can I pop Stone's Endurance? Which gives me resist 10-shell damage. We should have prepped!

Yeah, I didn't think about it. It's too late. It's a minor action, so I'm just going to really quickly... Just kind of like a deep breath before you walk. Yeah. Because I would have put a shield on everyone before the fight, but... I don't know. Alright. Go right ahead. Okay. Oh gosh, I'm so nervous, guys. You got this. So I guess Kori is going to walk up to the door. And before engaging in these beings, she's going to try to focus really hard again. This time not so much on the beings, but the surrounding area and particularly the box. At this point, without the meditation and all this, there is just...

You ever just had that feeling? It's like the hairs in the back of your neck stand up. Just this uneasy, creeping feeling of "there's something wrong here, but I can't quite articulate it"? That is the feeling Kori is going to get. And how close to them are you getting? Are you trying to cross the threshold, or are you just kind of walking up to the doorway itself? Up to this point it was to the doorway, but she is going to walk through the threshold. She wants to make them feel uncomfortable. Does she notice any sort of reaction from these dudes? So as Kori crosses the threshold, all of them are going to simultaneously stand up.

You know they're taking that kneeling position? They're all going to stand up. And they're all going to... You can't exactly tell where their eyes are, but you can tell where they're facing. Like their hoods are just... they usually kind of have this... Just sort of staring ahead. Head position. The second Kori approaches them, they're all going to stand up, and they're all going to be looking at Kori. That is not unsettling at all. With a deep, heavy breath, she'll probably side-eye actor Onis at this point and be like, "are you fucking seeing this shit?" And she'll sort of compose herself, because she doesn't want to look like she's terrified.

And she will continue, but while she does, she's going to be trying to find those eyes in each one of these creatures. Does she push forward into the room? Well, yeah, she needs to be in the room, so yes, she would push forward. Kori is going to step into the room, which would place her right between the first two demons. Like, directly in between them. Every single one of them are going to reach for the hilts of their blade and grab them. On top of that, I want everyone to do me a favor and roll Perception. Everybody below deck? Everyone below deck. Okay, cool.

Ooh. Dang it. Kabam! Everyone below deck is going to hear a sound, and it's going to start almost imperceptibly low. It's kind of this... almost a sandpapery, kind of gritty sound. It sounds like something rubbing against something else. And then that noise is going to pick up in both speed and volume. And eventually it's almost going to sound like rattlesnakes. But numerous rattlesnakes. We're talking... If the floor you were standing on was just rattlesnakes, far as the eye can see, just *rattlesnake noises* that. It's... it's really fucking loud. Like, loud and annoying.

And as Kori's standing there, you're going to realize that it's coming from these demons. *rattlesnake noises* And from within these pitch black hoods, you're going to see the trace outline of slender, narrow eyes. This bright, burning red intensity. So much so that there is this stench of... Kind of a cross between smoke and burning hair or flesh. Something like that. It's just a very overpowering smell. And they are all going to draw their blades at once. And then stand there. What would Kori like to do? Get the fuck out. Be her parents? Okay, well we were going for distraction, so hopefully this is distracting enough.

She's going to calmly say, "I know what you are, and you obviously know what I am." And as she's saying this, she's starting to step backwards. Like, very slowly, and she's going to very slowly grab her bow. But like, real slow. Okay? When Kori gets about five feet away, the demons in front are going to continue that rattlesnake, that kind of sandpaper-y, grindy, shaky sound. And there is something that is going to start to slide out from the base of their hood here, where a face would be. There is something that is going to start to snake out and slither.

And what it is, or at least appears to be, is about nine to ten inches long and very thick at the base of it, curling outward. They look like tongues. And they're going to sort of be whipping around, just ferociously. And at the ends of them, they kind of forked in several different directions, sort of violently striking out. And then it's going to snake back in. And they're going to take a step forward with Kori and flank her on either side. Oh, shit. Damn, this is the good motherfuckers from Pirates of the Caribbean, Davy Jones. If you wanted to get their attention, you got it.

That was the goal. Maybe Erolove needs to get Kori out of there. No, no, no. We've got to stick with the plan, man. Oh, yeah, but how do you run from that? I can teleport two people, so... Well, that's true. So, OK. Keep walking back. All right. I don't even know what to do right now. I guess I'll be in initiative, but like, actor Otis is just ready to just like... The moment they do anything against Kori, he's going to turn on the divine switch and attack them. So I guess a ready action. Honestly, I'm so nervous. I can't even think of what to do. This was a mistake.

So she can't walk back anymore because actor Otis is ready to... Oh, no, no, no. You can't walk through my square, no problem. OK. I don't want to mess up Dagon's thing either. So I guess she would continue to back up because she wants to get them as far away from the backs as possible. And I would hope at this point she has her weapon at the ready. So Kori would continue to walk backwards. Yes. So slipping, slipping past actor Otis, slipping past Dagon. The entire time these things are going to continue making that noise. There's this kind of slurping saliva type of sound.

And these things, I mean, for all intents and purposes, they've come to life. They have not moved in days and then all of a sudden this got to them. They're going to ready their blades. OK, I guess I should probably make my move. Here's the box, pretty much where that great opening is. Exactly. Here's the thing. If I go there, Erla teleports. Say I get the blade, the axe. She teleports me. Kori, then actor Otis is left there by himself. Oh, don't worry about me. No, I do. Let's do this and see what happens. All right. So Dagon is going to teleport right next to the box.

Like on the side of the box furthest from them. Right. Yeah. OK. So right in this general vicinity. Yeah. OK. And he's going to throw a force punch. Yep. OK, so that force punch is obviously going to just bust this box wide open because it's not fighting back. It's not trying to dodge. So that is going to just splinter. Just boom. Stormrender is going to come spilling out of this thing. I can't just grab it as I'm punching in through. I can. You can. You can grab it as you're punching through. OK. Now this is it. I want you guys to know, whatever Airlove does right now would be the absolute end of surprise round stuff.

That surprise is out. Like the cat's out of the bag. Well, I'm just going to walk away then. OK. Good session everyone. I'll see you later. She shuts and locks the door behind her. Nope. She just goes, "Nope." I've already died once this week. I'm cool. There's a cool down on that. I am not going to die again for a while. Yeah. Well, no brainer. Like, bam. Thundering summons. I summon him with a word and then it sounds like rolling thunder across the sky as he teleports next to me. Is it just me? Oh, am I? Anybody else want to come with? Actor Onus? Corey? It's him in the box, right?

Nope. I punched the box. That's right. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Corey Stormrender. Corey's flanked on both sides. Yeah, I want to leave Actor Onus down here alone, though. If you're going to take two people, one of us is going to be left here alone. We'll still be down here, though. We're just right by the stairs. OK. If you teleport me next to Corey closer to our side, then I can stay with Corey and I'll help her come with. I have to teleport you adjacent to me. Oh, OK. Well, I'm close enough. It's your call? You're going to die. I don't. But it's not my call. Yeah. If there were stairs leading up, picture them right next to where Erolove is.

You see the two sets of stairs that flank up. Like, imagine there'd be stairs leading above deck. I feel like Erolove will grab Dagon and Actor Onus only because Actor Onus would then be flanked by four if those guys leave the room. Yeah, that would suck. That would be a quick fight. Yeah. So we're not we obviously have to stay down here. Oh, yeah. So those other guys are going to have to come down. Oh, I'm sure they'll they'll they'll catch wind. So we were not going up anymore because of the layout? Corey can't get out. OK, well, we'll give her window because we ultimately like let's bring the fight upstairs.

Yeah, I'd love to. All right. Well, we'll figure that as the fight unfolds, I'm sure. All right. So both Dagon and Actor Onus are being teleported back to back to Erolove, adjacent to Erolove, right? Mm hmm. All right. Ellie in front of her. Yeah. Good. OK. Jason. Yes. As soon as all of this teleportation happens, can I do one thing? I know you said all the surprise is done, but it's not a surprise thing against the enemies. It depends. What's the thing? She just wants to look back at Erolove, Actor Onus and Dagon and say run. Because I can get out of here. Don't worry about it.

Are we going to get that message that you're like confident in this? No, it's not like goodbye. Is that like I'm blowing myself up and the ship will sink? It isn't goodbye, because I had said earlier that she's maintaining her composure through this whole thing. Are you, Jamie, sure you can get Corey out of there? Yes, I have an immediate reaction if I get hit. OK. Where I can leave. Oh, don't you turn into crows? Yeah. OK. I remember you. Uh huh. OK. I'm insubstantial, so if I get hit, then they can't hit me again. Then has Dagon seen this power before? We use it on the cobalt.

Cobalt of all things. As long as he would have it in his mind that he knows what she's talking about, then he'd have no problem. Uh oh. OK. Because that way we can be up on deck. He'll nod to her. He'll give a confident nod. While shooting his pants. I guess we'll see who runs first. Yeah. Let's see. Guys, everybody below deck, roll initiative for me. Classic and low initiative. Run. Corey goes first. Oh, that would suck. All right. Dagon, you're up. OK. So is this the start of the encounter? Any... Technically, yeah. So those encounter powers are back? No. No, I mean like this is the...

Oh Dagon. Technically, this is the start of the fight. The encounter started the minute you did stuff against them. Details, details. OK. The connector just extended his hand as say, the axe quick. You want it. How to turn. Dagon, don't give it to him, Dagon. He's a trap. No, do give it to him. Dagon, like... Yeah, he'll give it to you and just say, such a primitive weapon. Burn. Even in the face of death, and be ever the Aladrin. That was wonderful. Beautiful. That was awesome, man. And then he'll run upstairs. And he'll yell, The British are here. All right. Oh gosh, I'm so scared.

This could have been a really bad idea, but it's fine. So, Dagon is going to move, get upstairs, that'll bring up Corey. Well, I think she's definitely going to shift to the left. We're trying to bring it above deck. I think that she would probably, if that is an option that she can do, she would do that. She'd give up her second action. And shift again. Yeah, I think it's worth it. Action is to say, Go, go, Corey. Gotta stick to the plan, man. So, that's both of your actions to get there. Yep. But at least I'm not alone anymore. Nope, you are not alone. Demon number four.

Demon number four is going to use materialize. He is going to, it's an encounter power. He is going to disappear from the back of the ship and then reappear right there. Yes. Boo. And he is going to target Corey. 24, that will hit. 33 damage to Corey. So, he's going to stab at her with a sword. 23, right? Yeah. Yeah, because you have Stonewood's Endurance, so that's 23 damage. And Corey is marked by this demon. Yeah. You bring up demon number one. Don't you get to use your... I can, I can use it. Yes, I have an immediate reaction. The host of Spare is that I wanted to use the second I got hit.

But now I feel bad. I don't want them to be stuck down here alone. Do it. I think you should. Yeah. Alright, I'm going to do it. That makes up for your lost action. Yeah. Immediate reaction. I assume the form of a cloud of flying sparrows until the start of my next turn and I can fly my speed without provoking opportunity attacks. While in this form, I am insubstantial. I can't attack, I can't pick up objects. But I can move, so... Alright, so Corey is... Corey is crows. Caw-caw! So a murder of Corey is going to... Yeah, that's... And I'm just going to leave. Well you don't get a... hold on a second.

Because it goes away at the start of my next turn. Mm-hmm. So it wouldn't make sense if I turned into crows and then I couldn't do anything because it says I can fly my speed without provoking opportunity attacks. Caw-caw! So Corey flies upstairs. In many pieces. In many pieces. Demon number one. Whoa, then. Demon number one is going to target Actaronis. Hey, you. Oh, that's gonna crit this. Alright. Heir, love! Well, I asked this in the chat, but Xavier, can you get out of there? Eventually, yeah. Do you have anything that could get you out? Well, walking. I think that is two legs.

I will try to push them back on my turn and move away and use an action point if I must to really get away. Okay, because I could get out of there. No problem, but... I don't want to just leave you. If you want, you can delay. Because you're our love. You're like that. Yeah, okay. I'll wait to see what Actaronis does. Alright, that'll bring up demon number two. Demon number two is going to target Actaronis. Ooh, that is almost a crit. Not quite. Not quite. Oh, damn. Twenty damage to Actaronis. Can I... my... sorry, armor is of the durable quality and it reduces the first hit of the encounter by nine hit points.

Okay, so eleven. Yes, thank you. That'll bring up demon number three. Demon number three is going to do the same thing. He's going to materialize across the ship and flank Actaronis, target Actaronis, Oof, that is a hit. They're rolling high. Twenty-nine damage to Actaronis. Alright. That'll bring up Actaronis. Okay. Recoiling from that attack, he's going to whip around and bring Storm Render up in the air. And in a... I assume in a burst of white energy, a wave of force is going to attempt to push back. Four of them. And that's... So I'm just going to target all of them.

How do we go about the attack itself? Because it's not my weapon. Like with the bonuses and all of that. Oh, jeez. What's equipment? The Scarblade? No, my Glaive. The Glaive. Yeah, so basically I have a feat that gives me plus two to my attacks and I'm proficient. So that would be... five... five that I would lose. Five bonus I would lose. So just... I can do minus five. Minus five. Okay, cool. Just roll a negative five. But if you do hit, it'll be increased damage. Sweet. Okay. I'm just going to target them. Two, three, four. There we go. Attack. Minus five. The old Xavier is back.

Okay, attack. Here we go. No. Okay. That's probably half damage, though. No. No, it's not half damage. Well, you're going to hit one of them. You're going to hit demon number three. What's the damage normally? Two weapon damage plus strength modifier radiant damage. Go ahead and roll that and we're going to add another weapon damage to it. And it is pushed back one square. All right. Lastly, myself and Aralov gain a plus two AC. And I, myself, gain regen five till the end of the encounter. All right. Did you get that on your end? Okay. Yep. Can you move? Oh, yeah, then I will...

Sorry, that was just my action. Do they seem to react to the radiant damage? Not so much. Okay. Then I will use... I got hit pretty hard, right? Oh, yeah. I'm going to use a miner and use Healing Word on myself. Okay. That's my first use of it today. Healing Word. And that was a card. I don't have a... Sorry, I don't have a healing button for Healing Word, though. So I'm going to have to do it manually. It's one Healing Surge. How does one use a Healing Surge? I got you. Okay, and an extra... 3d6. So do me a favor, roll 3d6. Plus eight. All right. Oh, boy. And we're back in combat.

Yay! I missed that. Okay. Are you going to move? Yeah, I'm going to move. I'm going to have to shift. Yeah, and then use Action Point and get out of there. And take an opportunity attack. Can I shift into your square? Yeah. I'll let you stand there. You can shift into... Like, if I move after... You can move diagonal. You can move next to me. I guess if you shift, you don't get... You don't get swiped at, right? Yeah, but from demon three. Like, if I move after... Oh, no, I don't get a move on top of a shift. No, you don't. You're going to have to run an Action Point.

If you do that, if you run an Action Point, you can't turn it into a move. It has to be an action, I think. No, you can trade down. Oh, shit! Yeah. Good. Alright, I'll do it. I'll do it. It's going to save my ass. Action Point used, number one. And I'm going to take that Attack of Opportunity. I do have plus two to Attack of Opportunity because of a feat. Okay. Heirlove, you want to take it? I'm going to take... Yeah. I'm going to take it. Okay. I'm going to do Persevere's... No, Divine Production. You act knowing your god will save you from harm. I like that description.

Because until the end of my next turn, I do not provoke opportunity attacks. I'm just going to run. Alright. So that's basically Jesus take the wheel. Yes. Okay. No, it's Cory take the wheel. Cory take the wheel. Yes. I don't know if a bunch of crows could drive a car, being that they don't have thumbs, but let's... They're pretty smart. Wait. I like that it's just the lack of thumbs that would keep crows from driving cars. Otherwise, they'd be all over the roads. Jesus. Alright. Hey, first part... I feel like that was quite an accomplishment, just making it out of the basement there.

Yeah. Maybe we're dealing with the XCOM snakes fucking in armor. It was James Earl Jones. Okay. Well then. Cool. So let's see. I... These demons are... These demons are essentially all below deck, but that's not going to... I don't see Kola, Sirkria going down below deck to tackle them, so I think they're going to skip their turns, guys, and kind of... Everyone's hunkered above deck close together. I think... I would imagine looking down these stairs, waiting for them to go. Brailen, your turn. Okay, I'm going to... I'm going to open up with Gloom's The Future, for sure. 100%.

Always a crowd favorite. Always a crowd favorite. 1. Oh no. That's a 9. That's not a crowd favorite. Oh, 2. I said 2, and I got a 2. Oh no. Say 20. Finally. Come on, Z. Get me a 20. That's a 10. This is the worst. Alright, so every future Brailen sees is him getting stabbed, him getting thrown over the boat, him slipping, breaking his own neck, falling down the stairs. I can save that for a bad saving throw. Yeah, I'll save the 10. Okay. So we'll just save that 10. That was so bad. I will use... Oh shit. Okay, I don't want to use that one. So in terms of distance, how far are they from where I am?

A little like... I'm at the top of the stairs, right? Yeah, you're right about that. I'd say Actoronus is the closest to the actual base of the stairs, and then Brailen would be back a bit, and then the stairs leading down. I don't even know if you'd have a real clear shot at them. Yeah, I don't have any visibility on them, so I don't want to do that either. I'm not going to run down there. Yeah, you sure? You don't want to run down? Meet them? 100%. Okay, cool. I just want to give you the option. I don't want to take away options from you. No, that's not an option.

That's a suicide mission. I guess I will... Oh. Oh, no, I have to Anti-Attack somebody. No, but I can't do anything else unless I use... No, I'm good. Okay. Khaldun, your turn. Okay, so they are not up on deck yet, right? Everyone ran up and they're still down below? That's right. Okay, then Khaldun is going to take his hand and touch the center of his chest and like a cloud of ice and snow is going to whirl and whip around him and that'll be a cloak of freezing wind for my minor action. And then I would like to hold my turn until the first one of them comes within range, which would be range 10 to blast off a frost bind on whichever the first one comes up.

Can you do that after the round ends? I think so? Yeah, I mean, I'll hold my turn until the first one of them gets to go, I guess. Okay. And that'll bring up Dagon. So we decided they're not within sight of a range attack? Not from here, no. You're above deck, they're below deck. Okay. You can hold your turn. I'm going to charge. Ooh, okay. That's smart, actually. All right, give me a flat D20 roll, sir. That's a 14. So on your next attack, should you hit, that'll be a plus 10 to damage. Sweet. That's awesome, so. Corey, your turn. Okay, a really quick clarification question.

Where is the door again? Like, should we maybe move to the right? Because if they're going to be filtering into where we are, it's going to be a big old cluster. Is that, am I, is that right? Yeah, and is there just one opening? Right there, okay. Both the stairs, right? Both stairs? Yeah. Yes. Okay, so they could come out by either. Yeah. But we can also move anywhere out onto the top deck. Right, that's what I'm, I'm thinking Corey's probably going to want to move. Because I'm pretty, I'm still birds. Corey's still birds. I'm still birds. Snail the pooper. Am I still birds?

If you are still airborne at the start of your next turn, you land without taking falling damage. So I guess now I'm not birds. You are no longer birds. I'm no longer birds. And Corey is, I don't want to move all by myself though. I would have moved, I just didn't think of it. Which is not a good start. I guess I'll just, I'll delay then. We'll move. Alright. No? Okay. Alright, that will bring up demon number four. Oh boy, this is going to suck. Oh god, oh god, oh god. Demon number four is going to teleport. Right there. Right in between Brailin, Kaldin, and Dagon.

Oh yeah, I did. Not many doors. His thing goes off that, right? Yes. Now, technically that's not a ranged attack anymore. Right. I mean, I guess I'll have disadvantage, or what is it in 4e? In 4e you provoke. Oh, that's right. Do you really want to get fucking Whomping Sticked to the face? Well, I can do it, well here's my question, can I change my attack or? Go ahead. Okay. I'm going to say you readied an attack, basically. Sure, sure, sure. So yeah, when he shows up there, I'll just, Kaldin will draw out a long icicle, like a long knife looking icicle, and give him a stab.

Okay, go for it. You. See if I can remember how to do this. Is it control click or option click? Control click. There we go, right, cool. That will miss. Miss both times, I don't know why it rolled twice. Alright, so he'll take a swipe, and then I guess I will shift over here. Okay. Alright, sweet. Okay, so let's see. So demon number four is going to, he's going to use Executioner's Caress. Sounds lovely. Yeah. Oh my god. He's going to shift one space, target Brailin, and he's going to attack, that is going to hit. Hold on. Pause please. Wait, oh, pause, hold on. Pause, pause, pause.

Pause. I'm going to use Second Chance, I'm hit by an attack, you must reroll and use the second roll. Alright, doing that. Hits even harder. Fuck. Oh no. This is the year my friends. 19, so you are wounded, and, question. Yes. But I'm charging, can I use? You're charging, you can't do anything else. I can't do anything? Nope, you're charging, that is like one round of you just Dragon Ball Zing, like doing that, and then, the cool thing is since you charge, now you're having a seizure. Okay. And, you are immobilized. Son of a bitch. I have an immediate reaction, but it really doesn't affect combat, it's just, he got hit, and now I'm angry, so I get +4 to my next attack, roll against him.

Oh, okay, good. And, I got another power, because he hit me. There we go. You may have cut legs off, big man, but I'm going to fucking call of vigilance you. An enemy within 5 squares of me attacks me, or is it one of, oh no, ally, god damn it. I can't do that. Never mind, he gets to be blind. Oh, he's not blind, okay good. Demon number one. Demon number one is going to move up the stairs to act erroneous, target act erroneous, and use his greatsword. So, let's use greatsword. That's gonna miss, holy lord. That is a whiff and a half. Demon number two. Let's see, one, two, three, four, five, six, alright, let's move up to Kaladin, target Kaladin.

Let's use that greatsword, let's do that. That'll hit. Okay, now I'm going to use call for vigilance, he's blinded until the end of his next turn. He's blinded after the hit lands, right? Mhm. Okay, cool. Actually, so is his buddy, oh no, only one guy, only one guy in the burst. Only one guy? Okay. Okay, so let's do that damage, and he is blinded. Did you mark him? I can't mark him, I don't think. Oh, okay. So we'll do damage to Kaladin, 26 damage to Kaladin. Oh, boy. And let's blind this demon. Alright, he also, because of the cloak that's sort of like going around me, he takes 1 DA plus charisma mod cold damage, and I get to push him 1D4 plus two squares. 1D4, okay cool.

How long does the blind last? Until the end of his next turn. Okay, so we'll need to remember that. So go ahead, do your damage, 12 damage, and you're pushing him how many squares, let's see. We can push him 1D4 plus two, question, can this explosion of cold energy that blows around him, can it push him into the water, like away from the ship? I would say it's back, away from you. I would say it's in a direction. Okay, so it's like back down the stairs. Yeah, probably. Or either down the stairs or away on the deck. Like, up to you. Uh, might as well just keep him on the deck.

I'll push him over that, yeah, like, over the deck. Okay. So let me just do one of these guys here. So four squares. One, two, three, four, ah ah, back four spaces, over on the deck, and he's blind, so he's, yeah, he's going to have a hard time. Away demon! Away, the power of Christ compels you! Demon number three, demon number three wants to join the party, he is going to teleport. He is going to target him some actoronus. Bring it! Going to use him some greatsword. That'll do it, that'll miss! Ah ha! So lucky, man. Actoronus' turn! Alright, it's going to be another trademark Xavier turn.

First let me put you back at, I mean it's going to be long. But we can hit it. I'm going to put me back to ten wounds. Alright, so actoronus is going to raise a hand, open palm in the air, and cast a shield upon his allies, and that's a shield of faith on everybody. Close verse five, that's plus two to AC. Did I get Braille in there? Okay, there we go. Shield of faith, click, that should have worked. Everybody's got plus two AC, okay. Plus two to power. Plus two power bonus to AC. Oh, that's weird, a weird way to word that. Okay, cool. Classic fourth edition.

You all have plus two power. And then I deselect everyone. Okay, actoronus is going to then turn around with storm render and say, kind of awkwardly, "Cord, lend me your fury so I can crush my enemies. Isn't that your whole deal?" That wasn't actoronus' voice at all. It's been a while. Okay, but he still does it. He still follows through with healing strike. Alright. Which is on the one just next to Braille in, actually. If I hit, that's some damage, and I mark the target until the end of my next turn. And on top of that, myself or an ally within five squares can spend a healing surge.

So let's do that healing strike, please. Oh. That'll miss. No, no. Do you want the ten? No bueno. No where else to use it. Alright, and that's it for me. Was it too bad? That went bad. Can we use a healing surge, or is that only on a hit? It was only on a hit. Gotcha. Corey's gonna jump back in. Yeah! Woo! Let's do it! Bloop. So Corey, your turn. Okay. Corey is going to target demon number three. Boop. And she is going to do Squall Spirit, which is a daily attack. Oh. Oh my gosh. Critical. Alright. On my daily. Yes. 19/20s to go. Oh, and weapon damage. We always forget that.

Yeah, you're right. The extra weapon. You just do it. I'm so excited. Oh, can I tell you guys something? We're working on something for crit misses on the new season that's really cool. We're working on like broken limbs and fucking all kinds of cool stuff. Oh shit. It's so cool. That late night, like we work until six in the morning, it's like, "Would it be cool if we did this?" And we started jotting down all the cool stuff that we could do as a reboot. Anyway, sorry. It's just blah. Do yourself a favor and look at second edition D&D. They have like a million different things for crit misses.

Or Pathfinder. Pathfinder's got a ton. Pathfinder's got a ton. What's it called? The Dragon Age. The Fantasy Age Dragon Age game has a really good system. Oh really? Yeah. It's like almost similar. Yeah. So we're going to be working on something probably pretty home brewed, but yeah. It'll be something to kind of spice up combat and give you guys different stuff. And enemies. Different stuff for landing stuff like this. Okay. Let's do this fucking damage, Cory. Oh my god. I do. I hit shift. Yep. And then I just hit the blood drop. Yep. Cool. There we go. Fifty-two damage.

But wait. Beautiful. I'm not done. Because I also have a feat called Devastating Critical, so I get to roll an extra 1d10 damage. Plus you get weapon damage for the... My Devastating Critical? No, not the Devastating Critical. Your weapon has crit damage. Like dice. Oh yeah. It looks like it's already applied in there. Is it already applied? Yeah. Oh it is. Yep. That's what they're there for. Okay, cool. You're good. So yeah. Devastating Critical. Roll that. Bam. Oh no. It's almost a 10. I'll just freak out. I see a bloodied. Okay. I do see bloodied. Oh no. Okay. Let me first congratulate you because holy shit.

That was really good. And let me apply that to this demon. You have greatly wounded this demon. This arrow is going to strike it and you can tell you caused it some pain. Okay. I'm still not done though. Okay. But as a result of being bloodied. Okay, but if this thing attacks me and damages me, I'm going to be like, wait a minute. I had my free action that I wanted to throw in there. Is it a free action? It is a free action. Go ahead. Okay. If my... make an attack... Oh, nevermind. I can't use it. Oh, okay. I got all excited because it was extra, extra damage. As a result...

As a result of being bloodied, this demon is going to use mouth of madness. Immediate reaction upon being bloodied. Close blast three targets enemies within line of sight. So... Gosh. Is he still below deck? Yes? No. Oh, this number three? Number three is right in front of you. Yeah. Oh shit. I was looking at one. Oh my God. So you know what? He is going to... wow, that's a lot of you. So alpha is one, two... Oh, you know what? I'm just going to start labeling. Everyone. Not, not act erroneous because it's a blast. Oh, come on. Hit me. Do you want me to... No. If only I had marked them.

Yeah, that's the thing. So, let's see. Corey and Braylon and Kria and Colas and Dagon and Erolove. Callen is just outside of it and act erroneous is just outside of it. And, going to use mouth of madness. This is versus your willpower. So if you guys... I'm really sorry, guys. No, don't be sorry. If you guys have a steely will, you're going to be just fine. Let's see who this hits. This misses a lot of you. Oh no. It's going to hit Corey. It's going to hit Braylon and it's going to crit Colas. We're all dead. Not all dead. I mean, it barely hit me too. My will is 26.

Everyone who got hit, you are dazed. Save ends. Okay. Oh, no damage? No damage. Dazed is only when you get one action, right? You get one action. That is a load of malarkey. We might need to get Braylon out of there. I'm getting hammered in here. Not the good kind of hammer. Not the kind of drawing tool. Jason? Yes? I have to step away just for a minute. My baby is sick. Oh, no. Yeah, she caught my cold. But Leanne just needs help with something quickly. Yeah, go ahead. I'll be back in a minute. Okay, thanks. Yeah. Okay, now I can contemplate my life. And your decisions.

Game's bombarded. And there was just one more thing for that daily. Anyone adjacent to the enemy takes five thunder damage. Anyone? Well, it says any enemy adjacent to the enemy. I was just checking. Just checking. Yeah, that's what I need. Yeah, Braylon might be in some trouble here. Fine, I wanted to make him one anyway. Well, we got, I mean, Airlove, you might have something to move in. If no one else does, Cauldron, I'll try and do something that has some force movement for you so you can move a little bit away. I got something for you on my turn. I'm gonna send it for boating.

Yeah, it's something for you. I got something for you. She's pounding her fist. I got something for you. Little sparks and ashes coming out. Let me tell you, I did not expect to start this game tonight taking the amount of damage I have taken. 19. Colin's taking the most. I think I've been hit with the most. I can't move. And I'm dazed. I'm immobilized. And I don't get unimobilized. I can't save out of that immobilization until the end of my next trip. No, it's saved. It says save. Okay, I can save out of it. And that's at the end of the turn or the beginning? I forget.

At the end of the turn. And they haven't changed that in 5e. It's still at the end of turn. That makes sense, I guess. So you're basically like, "Oh, let me try and get out of it at the end of my turn." Yes. Cory, do me a favor. Roll a saving throw, please. A gift for the dazed. Sure thing. Flak D20? Yep. Bam. You're no longer dazed! How about that? I like it. Let's get rid of that dazed. Boom. No longer dazed for Cory. Airlove, your turn. Did Cory do her free action thing? Did Cory do her free action thing? I read through it again and I can't do it yet. Ah, okay. Okay, so I'm going to do something that doesn't do a lot of damage, but it helps out peeps.

Okay, so it's a burst 1 with an 10. I'm focusing it on Braelyn, so it's going to get all my allies except Kaladin. And it's going to hit a number 3 and number 4. To number 3, I get plus 2 because he's bloodied and I hate bloodied people. And number 1 made me angry, so I get plus 4 to him. Wait, 1 or 4? Yeah. 3 is bloodied. 3 I get plus 2. Number 1 I got angry at him for hitting Braelyn, so I get plus 4 to that one. Okay, good lord. Okay. Yeah. That's simple. Oh yeah. Oh, well, you know, crit miss. Well, okay, hold on. You do hit demon number 4. Which one? Yeah, you had it back. 1 is the one next to act of Ronis. 4 is the one you were talking about, I think, Susan.

Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Sorry, sorry. 4 is the one I... plus 4 to anyways, so I super hit him. Okay. Okay. Doesn't do much damage, so... 11 damage. But each ally in the burst gains plus 5 AC until the end of my next turn. Oh. On top of the 2? That's very nice. That's not on top, but it'll come back to 2 after it's done. Did I target everyone? I think I did. Yeah. Okay. I don't think you did. You did not. I did not? No, you're still targeting 4. Okay. Oh, sorry. That is sweet. I hit an enemy within 3 of me. I'm never gonna use this, because I'm never this close. So now I hit plus 2 to my AC for Invoker Defense, and then when I use a Divine Power, I can slide an ally within 10 squares of me one square.

Okay. So, Breland, do you wanna move? It's only 1. Um... I'm scared, because, like, it doesn't matter if I go... I'm only gonna go down, right? Yeah, I think that's the only place you can move. Unless I push someone out of the way. Closer to the stairs. Mmm. But you got plus 5 to your AC. That is true. I am a little beefcake right now. 2, 3, and 4 are already up the stairs, right? Yeah, everyone's up the stairs. Yeah. Except for 2. Well, yeah, no, he is up the stairs. He's on the back, yeah. I mean, if you wanna move me 1, that's fine. I don't think it's really gonna make a difference.

But I like being close to actor Ronis, because he can give me some more buffs and stuff. Yeah. Yeah. Just if you wanted to move. Okay. Well then, that's my turn. Alright, Colus. Colus is going to shift forward. Get right next to Breland. He's going to target demon number 4. Get in there, Colus. He's going to use his axe. And he's gonna miss. No, Colus, do you want my 10? No. Do you want to give him your 10? I'll give it to him. Okay. I think Breland would like, he would see him in his mind's eye, miss the swing, and then as he's about to swing, I would scream, "No, higher!" And then, I guess because he's panicked, he would swing higher.

Okay, and he is going to swing higher and still just miss. Damn it! See, Colus, I told you to swing higher than that. Yeah, it was like a golf swing. You startled him. 3, say failure for Colus. Korea! Hmm. What's the best thing she could do here to help? Don't summon Darmok. No, that's not a good thing. That's not going to be a thing. Hold on, guys, let me call my homeboy real quick. What do you think of homey? I think he's got more home things going on. Yeah, he's got the, yeah, if you listen to the newest of it, he is pissed off now. You know what? Infernal puppet.

Infernal puppet. She's going to target demon number 1. Try to use infernal puppet. Let's see if this works. That'll hit. So, 14 damage, and she's going to slide the target back 5 squares. Yeah, Korea! That's an actoronus can attack of opportunity because it's moving away from him. It's a slide, so that'll do it. Nice try. That'll wrap up Korea's turn. Brelin, what you got? I'm on the floor throwing up bleeding crying. Dude, you don't have that much damage. No, it's the status effects. He's never been like, it's like being drunk and having diarrhea at the same time.

He's like, "Oh god!" Let's see. So, use the good powers. Hold on. You know what? I'm going to use Song of Discord. One creature target, or attack, is Charisma vs Will. If I hit, he's dominated until the end of my next turn. And the effect is he takes a basic attack against an enemy of my choice as a free action. So, I'm going to target... Is it ranged? It is ranged. Oh, fuck. You know what? I can slide back one. I can slide, yeah. Let me slide. Oh god. That's a half slide. There you go. Full slide. So, control this guy right here. Oh, you're immobilized. Why am I targeting everybody?

You can't slide. I'm immobilized, yeah. Oh, no. I can't do anything. Fuck it, YOLO. I'll target him, and I'll use Song of Discord. Am I targeting him right? Yeah, negative two for saying YOLO, but yeah, you're... Ahh. You're failing to make me myself. Okay. Dominated for how long? Till the end of my next turn? Till the end of your next turn. And as a free action, right meow, I'm going to have demon number four hit number three. Does that say that? Yeah, free action. Oh, okay. Basic melee attack, so I can't use anything fancy. Right, yeah. Alright, let's see how this works.

Four is dominated. So, we're going to have... He is going to untarget Brelan, target demon number three, use his greatsword, and then I'm going to miss. You got the dud. Of course. I got the reject of the four of them. You got Larry. Larry's not a great demon. He's the recruit. Yeah, he's new. Anything else? I'd like to save out of all the bad stuff. Oh, yeah, roll some saves. Start with immobilize. What you got? You are no longer immobilized. Oh, yeah. Okay, cool. Now give me one for... Yes! Alright, you're no longer immobilized. No longer dazed. Uh... Kaladin, your turn.

Alright, I would like to do something. It requires a big ask on your part. But I'm going to see if I can do it anyway. I'd like to do it only if it inflicts massive damage. And it's a little unconventional, so bear with me. Okay. It's a power that I've only used once, and it was in the NPC fight. It's called Wall of Water. You create a Wall of Water that lasts until the end of your next turn. The wall provides superior cover against attacks made through it. A creature must swim to move through the wall. In addition, a creature passing through the wall gains vulnerable 5 cold until the end of its next turn.

I can sustain it as a minor, but here's the special part. If any part of the wall meets an area of liquid water at least 5 squares in size, you can increase the area to a Wall of 10. So we have a lot of liquid around us. This is true. And my question is, this is what I would like to do, and you can tell me if it's possible. I would like to make all this water come crashing down onto these demons, like as much water as I can, filling them into a cube that they can't escape from. And that would be my minor action. And then as my standard action, I can turn water into ice and freeze them all.

My hope, crushing them all with massive amounts of damage or stopping them all dead. That's a good hope. That's a lot. I know. I would let you summon the Wall of Water on top of a huge square, right? Okay. And then for your turn, like the entire turn, just drop it on them for massive amounts of damage. But that would be the whole turn, just because it would be just like this huge expenditure of energy. Yes. You want to do that? Uh, yeah, I think so, yeah. Okay, so here's what we'll do. I'm going to give you a box. You position that over whatever you'd like. It will hit everything, though, so maybe not Actaeronas.

Yeah, just move it down one, I'll get those three. Alright. Okay, so let's see. You're going to miss demon three, but you will hit demon two and four. I want you to roll 5d10. Whew! That is because you are on the ocean and because everything is just kind of right. And I like your outside the box thinking you made a case for it. Yes, I love it. So yeah, so Kaldin, like, it's just like you see him just sort of like crouching into himself a little bit, and then he starts like moving his arms and all of a sudden like water starts pouring up out of the ocean into this huge area right above these demon's heads.

And then he brings down his arms and as it does it like shatters into frozen, like a frozen battering ram all across them. 19 damage to two and four. Alright, done. And he said and he screams, "I bring to you the power of the mountain!" Smashes it down on them. And then he's going to move over here. I don't know how to do this, but demon two is now vulnerable five cold and grants me combat advantage until the end of my next turn. And thank you. That was a lot of fun. That was really cool. Plus one for RP. RP? RP. Dagon, you are charged up. You got a plus ten coming to you.

Yep, you got a plus ten coming to you if you hit something. Okay. Dare I say this is going well? No, don't! No, then I won't. Why did you do that? I won't say it. God damn it, Jay. You suck. I'm going to target demon three because he's bloodied. And I'm going to use force blast. Oh shit. Plus ten to the damage, right? Yes. If it were plus ten to the roll, that would be insane. Sweet. Plus ten all around. Okay, let's see. No, it's not going to hit. Did it hit the first one? The first one was going to miss too. That's why I was trying to be. Yeah, that one's going to go wide.

There's an action point. You can do that. Yeah, but I think that ten's gone now, right? Yes. Okay, all action point. Okay. Let's make it worth it. Let's do not a close burst three. So we will do mental drama, range 20. Misses still have damage. Gain vulnerable, five psychic. Damn it. Man, that's nothing above a ten. Nope, I'm sorry. I will move downstairs and collapse into a violent cry. So you're going downstairs? I'll be in my room. Move this game. Okay, I'm done. Demon number four. Demon number four's having a bad day, man. Did I get to move him or no? I don't know what dominated in four is anymore.

Dominated is you get to choose your actions, but you only get at wills. And it's dazed. It's only one thing, huh? Yeah, you get one thing. I want him to hit three. Alright, let's keep this up. Forever. That'll hit 18 damage. I'm happy for you. It's good, it's good. It's still good. So now it's no longer dominated, right? Not until the end of my turn. Okay, sweet. So you know what? Demon number one. Let's see here. Let's see something. Hold on a second, hold on a second, hold on a second. Ah, love it. Demon number one is going to move forward one space, and he is going to target Braylin.

Uh oh. And he is going to use something called invitation to death. Oh my god. No, no, no, no. These all sound so flowery. Oh, that's so cool. That is 18 damage to Braylin. Braylin is also going to be pulled adjacent to the demon. Oh my gosh. Hi guys, I'm on the other side of the boat now. No, no, no, no. Demon number two. Sit down, sit down, sit down. Demon number two is going to move here. Target Braylin. He is also blind. So that's a big thing in your favor, right? That'll miss. Demon number three. At the start of their turn, bloodied enemies within five squares of me take two radiant damage.

So number four is going to take two radiant damage, everyone. Thank you very much. Wait, demon number three, I'm sorry, demon number three is going to take two damage. And die. Demon number three is going to collapse to one knee and let loose this horrendous shrieking sound. Nothing human is coming out of it. The sound is definitely not human. This is ear splitting and just terrible. And he is going to, almost a light from within is going to burst out in holes all throughout him. And he is going to dematerialize and disappear. Are you serious? Did we do one?

Did we do it? Yes. Oh my god. With the two damage? With two damage. Everything as a parting shot. He is going to target everything that isn't a demon in the general vicinity. There we go. So, Colas, Corey, Actarunas. Basically there is no damage associated with this, but if it hits you are blind and deaf. Until the end of your next turn. So, let's see here. Hold on a second. It is against fortitude. 30 versus fortitude. Yeah. Okay, so, the good news is it only lasts until the end of your next turn. It's not a save-ance. Being, essentially, being blind and deaf really is only going to hurt your perception rolls.

Being blind is a negative five to any attacks. So, just for your next turn. But, demon three is dead, everyone. Dead and gone. You have killed a demon. This is possible. It is possible. Just look at my side. There's two of them. I'm about to kill both of them. Watch. Actarunas. Alright, he's going to bring a hand to his eyes. I can't see. And look in the general direction for Braillein. Extend an open palm again. Use another healing ward. His second for the fight and last one. So, I'm just going to select Braillein real quick. And then... Oh, I don't have a prompt for healing.

So, just make Braillein do a healing surge plus these 3d6. So, that's going to be 32. There you go. Yep, that'll get Braillein. Oh, cool. I feel better. That's how he says it. As he has what I assume is this demon hook still in him from being pulled across the boat. He's like, "I feel much better. Thank you." Just real casually. Then he's going to take a tentative step forward towards the other demon that was in front of him. At least like Braillein. And blindly swing at the demon in front of him. Shouting. Good luck. Oh, okay. And he's going to say, "Korg, judge my..." What's with this crazy voice?

Okay. I don't know. I've been listening to too many infomercials. I think you could maybe get in there for flanking too. If you have enough movement. Kind of blind. Fair enough. I just stumble towards him and basically just lump this big impractical axe over my shoulder and do an overhead swing. Yeah, blindly. And say, "Korg, judge this monster!" And then I'll do a strike of judgment. Let's see if I hit or miss and then I'll describe. That's fine. That's actually fine because, in effect, the next time the target hits or misses an ally before the end of my next turn, one ally of my choice within five squares will regain ten hit points.

Oh, wow. Okay. Sweet. Sweet, sweet, sweet. There we go. Kori, your turn. Yay! Okay. I'm blind. I can't see. This is horrible. Actoronus is no longer blind. You're good. Oh, nice. But he's still deaf? Is he still deaf? That clears up too. It's basically just... they kind of go off like a flashbang. Oh, yeah, I was deaf. So that's why I was doing that weird voice. There you go. Kori is going to target demon number one and she is going to do Guardian Harrier. Oh my gosh. Oh, shit. Wow. Amazing. That's another crit. Wow. Kori's having none of these fucking demons, guys. While she is the Raven Queen.

Yeah. This makes... canonically, yes. I shake the daily. All right. Anyway. So I'll do the damage for that. Yeah. Okay. 42 damage. That is going to bloody demon number one. Mm-hmm. Oh, boy. As a result of being bloodied, demon number one is going to target Brailin and take two swings. Damn it, Brailin. I'm so sorry. It sounds great. This is all exactly how I thought it would happen. Okay, everyone. Cross your fingers. One. That will miss. Oh, my God. Two. That will miss. Yeah. Oh my God. It was all worth it. I imagine I do like a shimmy shake dance as I'm doing this one.

That's a good luck charm. Anything else, Kori? Yes. As my free action, the one that I wanted to use before, I make an attack with an at-will power. And if the attack hits its target, the target takes an extra 2d10 damage. Oh. Oh, really? Really. And I conjure up my little pale wolf friend. Okay. So I'll roll the 2d10 first. Okay. Bam. That's an extra 11 damage. All right. Okay. And I conjure up my pale wolf friend that occupies one square adjacent to the target until the end of my next turn. Any enemy that moves out of a square adjacent to the wolf takes five damage.

And I'd like to put him right underneath Brailin. Done. All right. Anything else? Should I use an action point? No, because technically I'm still blind. So I'll be done. Okay. Airlove's turn. Kori, you are no longer blind. Yay. Okay. So I guess Airlove's just angry whenever, every time someone gets hit. Because she's gonna, she's gonna like wave her hands up and like this fiery thunder is gonna shoot out of her hands and shoot across the deck to number one. And then wrap itself around demon number one. I'm doing mark of castigation. It's basically like, and she yells, you fucking leave him alone.

Because if it hits, it will also damage him if it tries to hurt Brailin. Oh, all right. Yeah. So I hit him now. And then if he goes to, even if he just tries to hit one of my allies, he'll take damage. Oh, and he's bloodied. So I get plus two because I don't like bloody people. Oh, that'll miss. Oh, God damn it. Mother fucker. Close though. Because it does like 40/10. No. So it wraps itself around a mini, brushes it off. Okay. Okay. Well, fuck everything. I'm done. It's okay. Sometimes we miss. Jamie had a really good turn though. So it all evens out. Colus is blind.

He's going to take a clumsy swing at demon number four here with his battle axe. Oh, 30. Wait, sorry. I got to take the negative five. 25. Yep, 25 will miss. Sorry. I forgot to do the modifier. Well, poop. Kria. Oh, man, he cannot save either. Man, he is still dazed. Oh, he got Krit dazed, yeah. Yeah. I guess that makes sense, yeah. You know what? Because this one is right in Colus's face, she's going to use infernal puppet again. And she is going to target number four. On target demon number one. Target demon number four. And that'll hit. So damage. 20 damage that is going to bloody.

Oh, shit. One, two, three, four, five. That'll push the demon back five spaces as a result of being bloodied. Oh, no. I'm so sorry. She was trying to help. Krit, you bitch. Can you paint a picture for the listeners? So, okay. This, I picture it like this. This demon is in Colus's face. Colus is blind, can't defend himself. Kria, in a moment of just like get the fuck away from him, is going to strike the demon, do 20 damage to the demon, and do like an impressive amount of damage to this thing. The demon is going to fly backwards, cartwheel over his ally and the spirit wolf, land next to Brelyn.

And the very next action the demon is going to take is just a reactionary one of attacking the first thing that is near and take two swings at Brelyn. This is my buddy too. This is the one I have dominated until the end of my next turn. I thought it was the end of... You're right, and you haven't had your turn yet. It's been a while, yeah, but he's still free to hit me, because it's a reaction, I'm sure. Yeah. If we're going to do rules trumping, then that one beats mine, for sure. And then I guess he's just like, "Oh, sorry boss, don't know what came over me." I don't, yeah.

Okay, you know what? He is going to... Jesus, four. So four is going to target Brelyn. One. Ooh, that is going to hit. That's gonna hurt. And a crit missed, so you only take one of these. Well, you're fine, you're fine, you're fine. 29 damage to Brelyn. God. Coughs up along some bones. Actually, that guy is the guy I hit, so next time he hits or misses an ally, an ally of my choice eels from ten hit points. So you get ten hit points back, Brelyn. That's pretty good. Yep. You have been hit a lot in this fight, though. Yeah, I'm gonna need to go to the doctor. It's a giant worm all over again.

You know what I feel? I always picture almost every member of the party is used to getting hit more than Brelyn, so Brelyn just plays it up. It's like, "I think I'm done, guys." Oh, God. My toe. Go on without me. That was Kola's, that was Kreea. Brelyn, your turn. I'm going to, as a reaction, look at number four and say, "Listen, I own you." And I'll point to demon number one, and I'll use the fingers against the throat, like, cut him in half or kill him. Gotcha. He'll be like, "Yeah, sorry." I picked your crunk, just like, "Oh, yeah, sorry." What you got?

What you got in store? What you got? That's your dude. You gotta roll him. I can't roll him. Oh, so that's your free action as... Epic. Hey, dude, take a swing. That happens every time? So you get two attacks with him? Yeah, I get his and I can do mine. Unless I'm reading it wrong. I thought that was for the first one? I could be totally wrong. Okay, wait, which one is this? Song of Discord. Song of Discord. Dominating until the end of my next turn. In fact, the target makes a basic enemy of your choice as a free action. Oh, maybe because it's effect. It's only on the first turn.

Yeah. Okay, then I'm mad at him. Okay. Oh, their will is pretty good. Can there be for a moment, Braelyn thinks that he's still got him under control? And he does all this and the demon just like... Mmmmmm. Like, narrows his eyes. He's like, "No. No, you don't have me anymore." Alright, well then, as a minor action I'm gonna use Majestic Word. Mm-hmm. It's a close burst five. Uh-huh. Myself. Because everyone is hanging out and having a party on the other side of the boat. Mm-hmm. I'm with him five, actually. I don't want to heal you because you don't need it. Okay.

Wow. Sure? What is your health? What's your health at? I can't see your thing. Oh, okay. It's not everyone. It's just one target. Yeah, one person. Okay, that makes more sense. Oh, I thought you were being selective. It's like, "No, fuck you." It's like, "Why?" He's the only one. Yeah, he's the only one who's healed me. I'm gonna spend a Healing Surge and regain additional hit points equal to my Charisma Modifier, which is... ...six. Mmmmmm. Probably gonna be full healer, probably. Oh, I'm a little short. Hahahaha! Double Entendre. So, what's your Charisma Modifier?

Six. Okay, six. Boop. That's full health, brah. Hey, brah. Brah. That's full health? Shoots, brah. I told you, brah. I also slide the target one square. So, Reylen will Moonwalk. Can I slide...is it a matter of which direction? Uh, no. Okay, I slide this way. Sweet. Cool. Cool beans. That's my minor action. Mmmhmm. Alright. I'm gonna use one of my last remaining dailies, Stirring Shout. One creature, and it's Charisma vs Will. It's not a whole lot of damage, but there's an effect that says, "Until the end of the encounter, whenever an ally hits the target, that ally regains hit points equal to my Charisma Modifier." And one and four, bloody saw target one.

Hah! Oh, boy. Oh, that is gonna miss. That is a seven. No effect on this. I blew a daily. You're fine. Alright. And I will Action Point. Okay. Let's do it. Forgot what my Action Point ability is, 'cause I don't have the sheet. Yeah. It's a light, and there's no attack of opportunities, I think. Yeah, so, Reylen, righteous beacon. "Whenever I spend an Action Point, I can choose to project a bright light out to five squares. Until the end of my turn, while in this light, all allies gain +4 bonus to all defenses and do not provoke opportunity attacks." Sweet. So I just start glowing.

And I'll use Hideous Laughter, the last offensive daily I have. I'm gonna target the same guy again. Okay. Clap. Oh, nice. Yes. I don't have the ability to do it again, 'cause that's not how this works. No. Okay. I just look down at the ground as I try and cast magic and nothing happens. I just shake my head and look at the ground. Oh, no. And then, yeah. That'll bring up Kaladin. Okay, who is this wolf here? What's this guy? That's Kory's wolf. Is it like a real wolf or is it like an ethereal wolf? It's like a ghost wolf. Oh, okay. Okay. Cool. It's like an under-construction wolf.

Wolf to come in 2018. Like, it'll be finished. And it's just like a poorly animated running gif? Yeah. Got it. Got it. Okay, so Kaladin is all this like snow and ice fell on them and it's all over the ship. And he's going to say, "You felt the crushing power of the mountain. Now feel her sting." And he is going to summon some ice stalagmites. Okay, the coolest thing about this is if you hit, you sound like a god. If you miss. It's a triple. And I hit them all. You hit everyone. Way to go, Kaladin. Yes. Their reflexes are amazing. Okay, then we just do do do do. And also, Demon 2 takes an extra 5 because he's vulnerable 5.

Okay, so 13 damage and homeboy Demon 2 takes 18 damage. He's still vulnerable 5 cold and grants me combat advantage. And then ice stalagmites shoot out where each of these guys are, effectively sliding them. And I would just like to slide them away from Braelon. Just one square, but away from Braelon. So basically out. Yeah. And then where they were... They get damage too for being near the wolf, right? Yes, they do. Okay, so where they were, I'm trying to paint it, but I don't really know how to do the drawing. There's a stalagmite that is right by them. And if they start their turn there, they will take some cold damage.

Okay. So these threatening spires shoot up right there. Okay, sweet. And then I would like to action point as well. I would like to action point and so Cauldron brings these things up. And then with his other hand, he's summoning three sharp spears and he says, "And also feel her wrath." And then just throw these ice javelins at each of them. And I can't really... You hit Demon number 1 and Demon number 2. Demon number 2. Okay. And he's the guy that's got combat advantage to me. That is 13 damage. Oh. And he should also take... Demon number 2 will take five more cold damage because he's still got that vulnerable to five cold.

And the other guy that got hit also has vulnerable five cold now too. Alright, sweet. Here's what we're going to do. Okay, let's do all that damage first. Five. Okay, so that is that. Alright, as a result of being bloody, Demon number 2 is going to use... He is going to... Invitation to death on Braelyn. [Laughter] Demon number 2. This might not even hit, so it's fine. Invitation to death. Does that miss? That misses. That misses. You're fine. You're fine. Also, I have plus 5 to all my defenses in addition to whatever I have. I thought it was AC. All defenses. Oh, good lord.

Okay. And anyone who is within five squares of me also has it too. Any allies. That wasn't any of us, unfortunately. No, it stays forever. It's until the end of my next turn. It's persisting. Yeah. Jagon, your turn. Hi. Okay. I used it daily, so I get to charge. Oh, yeah. I forgot about that. I realized too on that daily that I did half damage and I didn't even use it. Oh, shit. But she died anyway. Okay. She's the one that died, so no biggie. But, yeah, I'm going to charge, so here's her roll. Here we go. That's a five. Okay, so five damage to the next attack you land if it hits.

Alright. So that's demon number four. Jason? Yes. Just so you know, because I didn't say it before, if demon number four doesn't move two squares away from its starting position from when I used guardian harrier, it takes damage. Okay. It also takes damage because it's standing next to one of the stalactites, right? At the start of its turn, yeah. Okay, so now. So that's five damage. Five cold damage. Five cold damage. Does that mean there's another five cold? No, he's not vulnerable to cold. Okay. He's going to use invitation to death on Braelyn. That'll miss.

Just keep trying to get you to come over. I think the demons are the slightest. Yeah, for sure. He is going to move here though. Oh, I forget. They're all going to take two gradient damage at the beginning of their turns. Okay. Sorry. No, that's okay. Okay. Okay, so there's that. Okay, so demon number one is going to take two damage. He is just going to move right on up. Right on up to Braelyn. He's going to take five from his stalactite. Yeah, he should take five from his stalactite and I think he has five ongoing as well. Okay. That he has a chance to save from at the end of his turn.

Yes. He is going to target Braelyn. He's going to use his greatsword. That's so going to miss. I envision Braelyn literally crying and running around in circles. Not that. And like dodging everything. He is not going to save out of that. And then demon number two gets his turn. Two damage. He gets two damage and he gets like a whole buttload of coal. He does, yeah. He gets five from the thing. He gets five ongoing and he gets five because he's vulnerable. So he's got 15 coal. Shit. That will kill. Hold on. Demon number one took damage at the end of his turn somehow.

Because there are 15 status effects. Hold on. That's going to kill demon one though. So demon number one is dead. Oh no. So demon number one is going to explode. So I'm blind. Well we don't know that yet. You might, you basically have like crazy stats right now. So let's see. So demon number one is going to die. So what is that? A 14. Okay so 14 modifier. Boop boop boop. Targeting Brailleann. 32 versus your fortitude. My fortitude is oh yeah 21. Even with four it would be 25 so yes. Okay so you're blind and deaf right now. But demon one is dead. Demon two is going to move up to Brailleann and going to target him.

Use his greatsword and roll a fucking two. Oh man. This is the luckiest streak I've ever seen. Congratulations. Well think about the other, the first half of this fight was me getting beat up. That's true. You did take a whomping. Actor Ronan, oh he did save. He did save from one of the things. He probably saved from ongoing five cold is what he probably saved from. Yeah I don't see it on there anymore. Did he take the 15 damage from when he passed the stalagmite? Well it's not when he passed it, it was just when he started his turn. Oh okay. He did start his turn so I assume he took the damage.

It's 15 damage? Yeah it's five from the stalagmite, five ongoing and then demon number two, we're talking about demon number two right? Yes. He's vulnerable five cold so all that damage he's taking is cold damage so he gets an extra five because he's vulnerable to it. So he already took five so he just needs ten damage. Yes, got it. He is good. Actor Otis, your turn. Okay I've been meaning to do an immediate reaction after the death of that demon but there was so much going on. I didn't have a window, would you allow me to do it or anything? Or it's too late.

It's uh, go ahead. It doesn't do a lot of damage and basically it's going to give Brailin ten hit points. Okay, got it. So Actor Otis is just kind of out of the energy that comes out of the demon, he manages to grasp some of it and use it and use a power called Death Surge. So each enemy in the burst and each ally, I'm going to attack those two demons and also you and each ally in the burst gain a plus two power bonus, two attack rolls until the end of your next turn and five ten hit points. I target those two, attack and not minus five because it's with my symbol.

That'll hit demon number two. Okay, so he will take this damage. Six. Which is six. And Brailin and I get five ten hit points. So let me do that right now. Sweet. There we go. So, my turn. All right, Actor Otis will charge, well not actually charge but like in their direction, actually no, just after that happens, after he used that energy from the demon explosion, radiant, faint radiant streams are going to seep out of his armor. And he is going to use a power called Stream of Life and he's going to start taking five ongoing damage forever and every time he takes the damage he can heal fifteen hit points to an ally within five squares.

So we've said I could do this starting this round? Yes. So Brailin, oh no, Brailin's fine. Yeah, I'm good. Caulding could use him. Yeah, give it to Cauldin. Cauldin, yep. Well, Kory's in a good spot. Yeah, I'm okay. Kory might need them actually. Yeah, I'll do Kory. I think I have probably more hit points total than you do though. No, actually Cauldin's a tank. Oh, right then. Give me, give me, give me. So fifteen hit points to Kory if someone can do that because I don't have the option. Got it. Okay, after that happens he will walk forward and swing that axe overhead again at the demon and we'll use Rune of Peace so as the axe slices through the air some glowing runes just like briefly appear and disappear in the trail of the axe.

And I will swing at the demon, Rune of Peace attack minus five because it's clunky, clunky Stormander. That's a miss him. So miss the target cannot attack me until the end of my next turn, sorry Brailin. No. And Acronis will recover that swing and use the momentum to do an underhand swing and use an action point. Okay. My action points gives me plus four to my attack used with the action point. So, I'm just going to be at minus one this time around. Nice, see you used the weight of the axe. And with the upwards motion of the axe he's not going to actually hit the demon with the axe but a blast of force is going to emit from it as he uses Shield of the Gods.

Just going to target both, that's a blast three, enemies in the blast versus reflex. Let's do this. Ooh, okay that's one. Yeah, that'll hit demon number four. Okay. And on miss it still has damage though. Okay, sweet. Okay. So demon number four you take. So that's 13 damage. Cool. The other one takes six damage I guess then. Mhm. Yep. And I knock the target prone. So number four is prone now. Lastly, effect, Breland gets a shield and a reflex bonus but I guess he already has better than it. So yeah, I'll just put it on him and I can move it around as a minor action but he's still very protective for the moment and that will be the end of my turn.

That was awesome. Mhm. Just so you know too, Acteronus, if you start your turn by that Stalagmite you're going to take some cold damage. It's any creature. Okay, got it. Yeah. Kori, your turn. Cool beans. She is going to be feeling just like, I can't even think of the words to describe it, like feeling really proud that we are defeating this evil or to her it seems that way. And she is going to use Wildfire Shot. That is a daily. Oops, I don't know why I targeted both of them, I'm going to target one. And she's going to target demon number two. Come on, another crit baby.

Oh my gosh. Are you fucking serious? Are my dice broken? Are my dice broken? We're all getting legendary weapons. You are a god-biting demon. She is a legendary weapon. Have you rolled a crit every single turn? The time I did my at will power I didn't roll a crit, but for every daily I've used I have gotten a crit. That's three. Okay, well here we go. That will kill the demon. Thanks, Aronas, we're going to be blind. Yeah. I don't know if this takes effect or not, but anybody adjacent takes five fire damage, but I don't think it. What, anybody? Any enemy I assume?

Any enemy. Oh, thanks. Well, hold on. Oh, Jesus. Thirty-one to your reflexes. As soon as Braillem sees it die he looks at Aronas and he's like, "This is going to hurt." Okay, so that's a thing. Demon number two is dead and gone though. It explodes just like the other one did. I want to pocket a free action because of the death. I'll use it on my turn. Just want to say that now. I don't think you can pocket a free action. Well, I mean, okay, yeah, I guess you're right. I'm going to explain what I want to do. It's just going to give me more damage. It's going to add necrotic damage to my next attack if it hits.

Okay. Using the darkness of death. And demon number four is going to take five damage because of that, the thing. Corey, is there anything else? Since it's nearing the end I'll use an action point. Okay. Roll another crit. It can't happen. It can't come on and do it. Physically, the law of averages states if you roll another crit. You should buy a lottery ticket. Yeah, something. I don't know. I'm just going to go for it, so here we go. Okay, not a crit. Okay, that is a five. That's fair. Okay, fine. You can go out into a storm without fear. Don't worry. So that's a 24.

That is going to miss. Yeah, and that will be the end of her turn. All right. Erolove, your turn. Jamie, did wildfire shot, is that actually fire? Yes, that's why the enemy got five fire damage for being adjacent. Oh, okay, cool. So my next attack is going to be fires of judgment. So I figure that fire that just burned up that other demon, I manipulate it and it turns white because it glows with radiant, and then it latches itself onto the other demon. So hopefully this hits because I'm describing my attacks. It probably won't. Yeah, see? That'll hit. Oh, what?

Holy shit. You're not even seeing your success. No, you're not. You're a very negative thinker, Susan. Jeez. I feel like Dagon, I just don't get any hits, you know? I don't want to be that reference. One to two, that'll hit. Go ahead. Okay, so that fire wraps around the demon and does? That will kill the demon. Yes. Can I? And it does an additional four damage because fire. I just want to see something. That would hit, Braylin. Okay, cool. I just want to see. I think the fire would have blinded them anyways. Probably, yeah. That will take you out of combat. I don't believe it.

I just, great job, guys. Oh my gosh. That's cool. Being a frontline fighter is pretty fun. I applaud you all for everything you did. I wish I could have helped. Yeah, that was nice. Make the part two. I'm surprised, honestly, that more of us are not wounded. Yeah, I was really afraid for Braylin. Yeah, that was really afraid of me too. That was great. Good job, lesser demons. As the dust from the bodies disperses in the wind or whatever, Acturonus just turns back, drops, well, puts Stormrender down on the deck, on the blade holding the handle leaning on it, and directs those streams of energy towards the rest of the party members that were still injured.

And you can see it trailing on the ground just softly. It's a warm feeling going up on your wounds and on your bodies, until you're all healed up. So that's Cauldron and Kori. Oh, nice. And there's all this fire and ice right behind you, just whipping around. Yeah, I wouldn't walk away as I do that. So I would imagine after this fight, especially for Braylin, I think he was flashbanged three times. Not the type of flashing that he's used to. Just over and over again, every time he gets up, it's like, "Okay, there's a ringing in your eyes." Pow, right in his fit, just over and over again.

So after the last demon disappears and is gone, there is nothing stopping the group from sailing once it's allure. Now you have one and a half days. We're going to just go right ahead, and considering there are no enemies on this ship, there are no obstacles keeping you from getting to-- The weather is clear now, no enemies on the ship, and you guys can just continue to sail on. The only thing I'm going to ask you guys, you basically have-- Well, now you basically have a couple of different things you could do. Now you were supposed to meet someone in West Harbor, kind of a high-ranking official in the Lion Folk people, and hand over that axe.

Now obviously I don't think that's going to happen anymore, is it? -Mm-mm. -I don't want to. -No, no, no. -Mm-mm. Nope. So you can either-- You can either take your chances, because docking in West Harbor would be one of the easiest things to do, or you could sail north or south a bit. The only risk there is you're not in neutral territory. West Harbor is considered neutral territory, which means there's no fighting in West Harbor. No one from the Githzerai side, nor the Lion Folk side, attack that place. It is just-- It's completely neutral. It's kind of a safe haven.

Does that include travelers, visitors? Yes. Well, that's why it's there, is so that travelers and visitors can leave or enter and do their trade and everything like that, and not be affected by the petty bullshit going on on the continent. So they really wouldn't be able to touch us. They wouldn't be able to-- Okay, they wouldn't be able to touch you, but at the same time, they're not exactly going to leave you alone. They're going to follow you, right? Mm. And do they know that this particular boat is carrying the axe? Or was someone just supposed to meet up with them?

Well, they were supposed to meet up, but they would tell them what the ship looked like and everything, and you guys, we've discussed it before, you're distinctive. Yeah. So when you pull into town, people are going to go, "Hey!" Like, that's-- you're pretty distinctive. Now, the other options are to go a little north or south, and just-- you can just look for a place to drop anchor and just get in there, and honestly, the continent's big. The odds of you being spotted, and even if you are spotted, people don't normally just attack unless you look like a member of the opposing army.

That's not exactly how it works on Talor. There are native people here that aren't lionfolk or githzerai. I will say this, because after a little over a day, it is going to be officially-- it's the 24th, almost the 25th of Thor. Dagon is going to feel that pull. And remember when he checked to see if there was a gate nearby, something like that? Just kind of check to see what that bracelet's doing. There is a very distinctive pull, which means, somewhere on the continent of Talor, there would appear to be a gate. Cool, guys. We don't have to sail home. There's also the pull for whatever the witch tagged him with, right?

Yeah, that's not-- that's more of a-- like, you're constantly feeling that get stronger. That's one of those things, you close your eyes, you sort of just know the way. Like, if you ever lost or something, you just kind of, like-- Dagon would just sort of-- just like, "Okay, everyone just give me a second." And just like, this way. Like, you would just know. So do I know-- is it in the same direction as the gate is pulling as well? That's sort of tough. Think of it more of a geiger counter or like a compass. It's basically like this direction, and you could feel that it's strong, but you can't judge distance so well.

It's like continent, definitely. Beyond that, you're not exactly sure. Maybe it'd be best to locate the gate, just so we know where it is? Does Dagon still have a feeling of where the Eladrin are? Or like, where that's sort of like pulling him? Yes. Yeah, definitely. Okay, in all honesty, I think he would just follow that. Yeah. Yeah. Well, let me ask you guys a question. Do you want to pull into West Harbor, or do you want to try and find another place to dock? Another place to dock. Another place. Well, I think, realistically, I think we would ask Colas and Korea, who didn't help me at all and is a hater, we should ask-- we should probably convene with them.

Braelyn was just asking these guys, get as much intel as we can from them about the port city, and then if there's anything that's kind of similar close by where we won't get tagged by Imperial officials. Well, that's-- here's the thing. They're not native to Talor, so they only know pretty much about the mission. So they would tell you all about West Harbor and that it's a safe haven. It's neither here nor there in terms of the war. It does not support either side, and it's pretty much there just so that people can still trade. There's still economy on Talor.

People can get off and arrive on the island without being harassed. But beyond that, they don't have a ton of information. There are shops and things in Talor, in West Harbor, but obviously if you arrive there and you're spotted or recognized, they can't harass you, but they will just follow you. They will make sure that they get that weapon somehow. That's going to be their big thing. They can get the weapon straight to their face if that's what they want. We don't need the role of the Lion Folk following us. Wasn't Alex like, "Hey, let's not choose a side we should be--" It's too late.

It's too late. Braelyn was close to death. This voyage has changed his life. Well, we sort of chose a side by taking the axe. Oh, yeah. For sure. There's a wrong side because the gifts are the truth. We don't know how they're going to perceive it. The ship's just not going to come in when they think it is, and then they'll get impatient or something, but we'll be away from there. There's storms and stuff too. They might think something-- I don't know. I think we'll have a better lead if they decide to pursue us or try and find us. In any way, we'll have a good lead on them if we just don't go to the West Harbor.

Yeah, Braelyn votes not West Harbor. I don't think it would necessarily matter. It's not like any of us are lionfolk or Githserai. Right. So basically just find another place to dock. Yeah, the closer we can sail to the Aladrin, the better. Okay, so this would probably be a little bit to the south. If you're looking for the closest walking route after you land, after you disembark, then probably south would be your best bet. I have a question. Do we know, like, is south-- like, the territories, how is it split up between the Githserai and the lionfolk? Do we know that at all?

There's essentially a horizontal line dividing. Now there's a strip in the middle that is so blasted and war-torn that even if someone were to claim it, it's useless land. You can't grow anything there. You can't do it. It is decimated through centuries of combat. Like, these two warring factions have basically fucked their own continents so hard that it's really tough to understand why they're fighting or what they're fighting over at this point, because they're really just doing harm. But yeah. Okay, it's like the DMZ kind of play. Pretty much, yeah. Gotcha.

So is the south the lionfolk and the north the Githserai? South is Githserai, north is lionfolk. Perfect, dude. That's a good deal with the fucking smarty-pants. Let's deal with them. They'll be nicer to us, I'm sure. Question mark. Brailen. Yeah. Do me a favor and roll a flat D20 for me. This is gonna be good, guys. Look at that, how good that was. Okay. [laughter] We are going to pocket that two for later. But after one and a half days of travel, again, weather is clear. You are going to make it to the continent of Talor. You are going to sail a little further south, and you are going to find a place to disembark.

You're gonna drop anchor, and you are going to make it to shore. Guys, congratulations, you are the first party, the very first group to make it to another continent. Achievement unlocked! [singing] What do we see? Brontosauruses as far as the eye. By the way, F2 is because no one helped me besides Actoronus, so I won. I gave you so much AC. Yeah, I gave myself more than everyone else. No, I gave you five. Instantly the group turns against each other. Aralef helped me, Actoronus helped me. Corey helped you with the... Corey, yeah, Corey. And Cauldron with the stalagmites.

Corey, okay, let's... Okay, so realistically, James, you're on my shit list now. [laughter] Corey helped by merc'ing fucking demons, that's how Corey helped. Yeah, great job there, great role, Corey. I mean, my job was very clear, it was distracting. Eivor's vape. Yeah, that was pretty much the bait for this one. I picture Braelyn as like little Steve Rogers in the beginning of Captain America, just jumping on grenades, just like jumping, it's like, "Get out! Run! Get out of here!" "I got it!" Except I was getting like stabbed and punched in the face. Flashbang, flashbang.

Yeah, flashbang, cool attacks like, "Executioner's blade!" "Hell's mantle!" Everything was getting thrown in. What was that? Invitation to death? Invitation to death and executioner's caress. Like some fucking Black Sabbath song. [laughter] Holy shit. James, go take care of your kid, man. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I'm sorry they're sick. No, she's, well, she's happy though, if it makes you feel better. Okay, good. At this age, when they're sick, they're oblivious. They're just like, "Hey, look at that thing I'm gonna grab and put in my mouth." Like it's just, they're...

That's how she got sick! Stop grabbing things. It might have, it was, you know, I don't know. Building our immune system. Yeah, that's what it is. That's what it is. So we're gonna pocket that too, that's gonna sit right over there. Oh man, I got just the thing. Okay, so we're gonna... Oh, there goes the night guys. Yeah, there's actually a minefield right where we don't. [laughter] Hey DNR listeners, it's James from Group 2. I hope you just enjoyed that show as much as we did.
