Streaming August 9th on Apple TV+. (dramatic music) (dramatic music) - Hey everyone. I wanna give a big thank you all to everyone who wished Dan well. He's been feeling pretty sick recently. He's kinda been in and out of the hospital and all you guys wishing him well, very much appreciated.
He felt well enough this last weekend, so we got in an episode and that's what you're gonna listen to today. Now, if you're not on the DNR Fan Page on Facebook, you may have missed the fact that we posted on Saturday that we were going to perform live on Twitch TV. On twitch.tv/bandanaRob, I believe is the URL. Thanks to Rob letting us broadcast on his channel and we all had a great time, everyone who was in the chat. And I think it kinda added something nice to the show. Whenever we took a break in the middle and then at the end we wrapped up and yeah, we got to talk to everybody in the chat in real time, it was kinda nice.
The usual stuff, if you're just listening to the show though and you're not checking out the Fan Page or the website, DNR Podcast, that's D-A-N-D-R podcast.com, then you're gonna miss stuff like the article Jake Mullen posted earlier this week about the Ironhide and Malchus fight. There's an article that Rob posted about how to play D&D cheaply or just role-playing games in general and a suggestion for several role-playing games you could play at home for almost no cost. So go check that out. Again, oh, on the Fan Page, if you haven't had a chance to see it, we posted that when we reach 100 reviews on iTunes, I believe right now we're floating around 80.
So when we reach 100 reviews on iTunes, at these little mile markers, we're gonna start giving away free games and stuff on the Fan Page. And those of you who reviewed us and everything, we're gonna kinda hold like a little raffle each time that we reach a little mile marker, like 100, 125, 150. And the higher we get, the more the game will be worth. This time we're gonna give away three copies of Magic 2014 on Steam. So when we reach 100 reviews, bam, that goes up on the Fan Page. So keep your eyes peeled for that. And that's pretty much it, guys. We hope you enjoy today's episode and let us know what you think.
Let's go around the room and introduce ourselves. I'm Jason, I'm the DM. Going around the table with Tom. - I'm Tom and I play Yennward, who's a minotaur fighter. - And Dan. - Hi, I'm Dan. I play Rodswell Joy-Baton, who is a human war priest. - And Jake. - Hey, Jake, a dragonborn fire mage known as Draconis. - Tyler. - I'm Tyler, I play Thoril, a human scout. - And Justin. - Hi, I'm Justin, I play Jeragionide, who is a war forest sword-raging. - And Rob. - Hey, I'm Rob. I am playing Malkus Grimness, the tiefling warlock. - How about a brief recap for those of you who may have forgotten what happened a month and a half ago when we sat down.
I'm imagining anybody who, I can't see the Twitch stream right now. I'm not tuned in, but I'm imagining anybody who is kind of chilling in it, is waiting for Malkus versus Ironhide, because at the end of the last session, you guys, it became so heated that it boiled over, and you guys decided that the only way to truly settle this is a fight. - Be to teach that malfunctioning golem some respect. - So what I have here, you guys are currently, you're just outside of Winterhaven. You're far enough away that no one can see you, but you are, you're still pretty damn close to Winterhaven.
There is an empty field, which everybody in the Twitch stream can see, I'm hoping. - Yep. - Awesome. So what I'd like you guys to do is place your characters in right there in the center. And what I'm gonna do is have Malkus and Ironhide, especially within striking distance, right about there. I'll wait for everybody to get on the field. There we go. Okay, so here's what's gonna happen, because there's been a hell of a lot of debate. The fan page, we are a nation divided, guys. Now it's been a lot of hype up between, you know, Malkus, Ironhide, who's gonna win, but there's an entire party standing right next to this.
You guys are free to do whatever you want. What's gonna happen though is I want Malkus and Ironhide to roll initiative first. And then right after we've decided which one of these two is gonna go first, I'm gonna have the rest of the team roll and you guys are gonna go right after them. Because the way I'm thinking of it happening is these guys, heated discussion turns into blows and the team's kind of caught off guard 'cause it's never happened before. Justin, go ahead and roll initiative. - All right, I'm rolling initiative. 13. - 13. - Oh, you're in trouble.
That's okay, that makes sense. That was the one ready to hit you first. - Rob, go ahead and roll initiative. - I did it with that 25 up there. - Oh shit, okay. - Most of that was before, roll it again. (laughing) - So you guys will be going first. Everyone else go ahead and roll initiative. - Oh, what? God, I always have the worst rolls. - Tom gets a seven. - Saving my good rolls for later. - Dan gets a 20. - You can never go to Vegas, you guys. - So it's Dan, Tom, yeah, no. - Oh, add one to mine. 18, I'm at 18. - I was speedy, so I'm at eight. - Because you forgot.
- I had a plus five instead of plus six. - Oh, I thought you were just demanding. - Oh, hey, that works too. - Do it again. Well, yes, good enough. And there we are, so sort. And here's a turn order. It's gonna be Malkus, Ironhide, Rodswell, Thoril, Draconis, and Yenward. So this is a weird situation. We've never been in this situation before. And what we're gonna do is we're gonna have Malkus and then Ironhide take their turns. And then I'm gonna ask each one of you guys what you wanna do. If you wanna try and grab them, if you wanna hit them to make them stop, if you wanna, I don't know.
So, Malkus, go ahead and take your first turn. - All right. Malkus looks at Ironhide and says, "If you will not learn to hold your tongue, "I will cut it out of your head." And he, Minor Action Emerald Shield puts on plus two AC, plus two reflex. Move action, step up, and open with Soul Eater. So I am laying into him with my Obsidian Sword here. - All righty. - That's D20 plus 15. 24 versus eight AC. - 24 will hit. Shit. - D12 plus 14. - 14 damage. - Oh no, I didn't. - That was AC and then now it's 19 for damage. - Oh, 19, sorry, 19 damage. My bad. - And I'm gonna action point.
- Holy shit, okay, so. Okay, so Malkus charges forward and he's drawn first blood against Ironhide and Ironhide is reduced to 51 hit points right off the bat. So first strike, bam, hits Ironhide. Go ahead, what do you wanna do? - I'm going straight into my encounter power, which gets a plus two bonus 'cause I hit with Soul Eater. So at plus 17 versus Fortitude for Blazing Doom of the Void. - All right, so you're using Blazing Doom of the Void and you've used Soul Eater. - Oh no, Blazing Doom of the Void is second here and I just rolled a 31 versus Fortitude.
- Okay, it misses. - Yeah, it will obviously hit. - This is fire and necrotic damage, 26. - Wow. (laughing) - Open up hard. - All right. - Okay. - So Ironhide is bloodied. (laughing) - Fire away. - Bloodied in one hit, Jesus. - Two hits. - Two hits. - Two hits. - Oh, yeah, okay. - There was an action point involved. - Gotcha, all right. - All right, so Malkus is not fucking around. You've enraged him to the point that he is appearing, it's appearing as though he's trying to just take you down and he just cuts into you right away. Ironhide, your turn. - All right, I wanna start off by saying you're gonna have to do a lot more than that to be the savior of this continent.
- I'm gonna use Deep Freeze on him. - Oh, damn it, I bet on Green Flapewear. - He's getting the heart of that. - He might even get one of those. - Wanna give me some of that. - So that's a D20 plus 14. - Okay, here we go. I got a 30. - That'll hit anything. - Yep, that'll hit all of me, thank you. - I'm so glad neither of us are missing on this first exchange. That would be really anticlimactic. - That'd be a little embarrassing. So, wow, that's a 4D8 plus six. - That's 31 damage. - Oh, goddamn. - Whoa. - Holy smokes. - And I wanna start off by saying I am not fucking around.
- Bloodied you back. - We have two bloodies right off the bat. - Not quite almost, but Nalkus is reduced to 34. Would you like to do anything else, Justin? - Oh yeah, I'm gonna use my move action to get out of the way. - So you're gonna shift back. You do have an action point, by the way. - I'm gonna use it. I'm gonna use Whirling Blade on him. - Oh, Jesus. - And we're gonna lose Nalkus. - Oh shit, I can't see the modifiers. Too much information on the screen. What's the-- - It's a D20 plus 14. It is also a D. - That sounds not bad. - And it's a 17. - Damn it. - AC.
- Wait, versus AC? That's gonna miss. - That's gonna miss. - Oh man. - Unless you wanna attack another team member. - What? - Wait a second. - That'll take an interesting turn. - Technically he could do that, but I don't see a reason to. So that'll wrap you up. You've done everything you can do. - Wait a second, wait a second. - Oh wait. - Thoril's got high AC. It could miss. - Why would you attack Thoril? - That's high AC. Come right back. - I'm begging you to. - Whoa, whoa, whoa. - I really wanna hurt Nalkus. - You wanna get me involved with this fight. - That's your head.
- You almost killed my mage before. This is vengeance on somebody else's head. - That you've never met. - No, I never met him, but I heard he's a good guy. Okay, let me see, what else can I do? - The only thing you could do is a minor action. You haven't done that. - True, true. - The only thing you can really do is fear no elements. - All right, I'll try to fear no elements. - Do you even know what it does? I just, no clue. - It gets me a plus five on an element of my choosing. I got four. It's pretty damn cool. - Plus five, it would be plus five. Yeah, five plus one, you're gonna, so it's a plus six resist to what element, dude?
- Five. - That's probably a good choice. - Malchus is an element, right? - Well, he uses some fire attacks, so. All right, so you have used a bunch of dailies, and so has Malchus. Rodswell, your turn. - Okay, so Rodswell's breaking down over here. He's watching everything fall apart and freaking out. And he also has the voices going on in his head still. And he knows that he can't really speak, he talked his way out of this, or talked, and he went into anything like he has before. So he figures that there's nothing to do but action. So he casts dark speech on Malchus.
- Oh. - I had it coming, I had it coming. - Dark speech is a d20 plus six, I guess here. - Let me see. - So I roll it, the 24. It's against fortitude, reflex, and will. - You've got a 24 against, and I have to just check it against all those defenses? - Yes. - You hit all three of those defenses. - Okay, so you fall prone. I push you back as far as your speed goes. - So six, so one, two, three, four, five, six, and prone. Almost to the water. - And also, I guess you grant combat advantage. I mean, so that doesn't really do anything. - Well, it does, it does, he grants combat advantage.
- Right, I'm not done. I will also cast healing word. - Really, on Ironhide? - On Ironhide. - I know, right? - Okay, this is taking a turn. Let's kill him. - And it's 2d6 additional hit points, I guess. - Yes, so go ahead and roll those. - We're gonna have to blow those. - It's 10 extra hit points for Ironhide plus his healing surge. - Jess, do you wanna pop a healing surge? - Sure. - All right. - And I'm gonna use my move action. I jump right in the middle of him and I just scream stop. - I think this will calm Nokus down. - And I fall down and I rock back and forth in a fetal position saying, "Cleanse the land." This is my attempt to just get you guys away from each other to think about things for a second.
So. - Thewhirl, your turn. (sighs) - Man, this is tough. Okay, I guess the question is big to ask. If the goal is to outright kill each other or knock someone unconscious just to prove your dominance. - That's up to you. - That's what I'm saying, you wouldn't know that. These two have just, all you know is that these two have gotten heated before, it's gotten worse and worse to the point where now they're just physically assaulting each other and you don't know, that's why. You don't know if they're trying to kill each other or just be the guy standing above the other guy, like you want some more, that kind of thing.
You have no idea. - It just started so you don't really know. - Yeah, basically 10 seconds of this fight has happened so far. Ironhide, Ironhide got struck twice right off the bat. Ironhide rebuttals with a strike of his own, a missed Whirling Blade and then Rod Swells step forward, heals Ironhide and simultaneously shoves Malchus across the field. - I also, I do want the minor action of me falling on the ground and rocking back and forth in a fetal position yelling stop. I do want that to be canon, that is, that has happened. - He's down. - Yeah, I don't, I'm not trying to get involved in the fight, I'm trying my best to break it up but I absolutely have no power to speak civilly to anybody right now.
Based on what was happening at the end of the prior, you know, so. - So far, what do you want to do here? - You know what, let's see, one, two. - We're dealing with a nearly fully healed Ironhide. - Five, six, I'm gonna, assuming that they'll probably fight just a little bit away from, you know what, I'm going to get right here next to Rod Swell and I'm just gonna end my turn there. - I don't really know what else to do on this stage. - You're gonna make a daisy chain of friendship. - It's not a bad idea, just getting in the middle of them. You know? - Yeah.
- Because that means Malka's gonna have to get through us, do it, and that's gonna be. - Either one of them decide that they really want to kill each other and then we can try to put a stop to this. - Draconis, your turn. - All right, I am gonna move one, two, three, four, five, six, move here, right in between them. - Oh, gosh, that was right in the way. - All right, and first I'm gonna look over at Malkus, who's laying on the ground, and I'm gonna shout out asking him, will you stop? - Let me get the fuck up. - Come on, man. - Will you stop this? - Don't you all see?
He's going to lead us to ruin. We're going to fall under the iron grip of tyranny if he gets his way. - All right, I'm gonna look over at Ironhide, and I'm gonna shout, will you stop? - Not until he's ready to do what's needed to be done. - Oh, I will do what needs to be done today. - Okay. - Okay, all right. - All right, I am going to. - It's quite vague. - I don't know quite how this is gonna work out, but. - Oh, God. - You're gonna cast Fireball? (laughing) - All you motherfuckers. (laughing) - I'm going to use disguise self, and I'm going to disguise myself as Malchus, to be exact, clone as Malchus.
- Oh, Jesus. - Okay, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. - Mm-hmm. (laughing) - Oh, God. - This could be very interesting. Hold on a second. - Find the Malchus file, Jason. - Okay, you are changing right in front of him though. - I know, yes I am, yep. - Okay, I'm just letting you know that. Okay, you now look like Malchus. - All right, I'm gonna do my little action point thingy, my Bob. - Okay, and you're spinning an action point, okay. - All right, and I am going to move four spaces right here. - On top of. - We're gonna hide, shut up. - Right, side by side, and I'm, can I help him up?
Is that possible? - Well, you can't occupy the same space, you can only be adjacent to. - Okay, can I help him up, is that possible? Is that a thing to do? - You've already used all of your actions. - Okay, so that's a thing, so we're looking the same, and I'm gonna yell at Ironhide, and everybody else, you're gonna have to take both of us down. - Love it. - That is interesting, that is an interesting move. - Yenward, what do you got? - I think I'm gonna bull rush the both of them. - Son of a bitch. - I'm gonna go and join the daisy chain. I'm gonna hold hands with shaking Rotswell.
- So, okay, I'm just letting you know, you can grab them, you can interact with them, you can do all kinds of stuff with them, I'm just letting you know you don't have to just stand there. I don't know if you wanna actually go physically grab somebody, but. - The moves are ready. - We're locking arms and forming a daisy chain. - Okay, the Care Bear stare, all right. - And that is the end of your turn. - So not over. - Malkus, it's your turn again. - I always knew my respect for Draconis' drug addiction privacy would pay off someday, and now it finally has.
- There it is. - So, Malkus is gonna, oh, he's gotta stand up, and that's gonna eat an action. He's gotta stand up, shoot. - That's your move action, buddy. - Yeah, that is, I don't like that. I don't like when that happens. What can I do yet, hold on. I burned my action point too. - You have potions, can you use those, or you can't use those? - Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. One, two, three, four. Okay, so I'm gonna charge, because you can basic melee at the end of a charge. And that's a standard action. So move action, stand up. Minor action, iron aspect of Disparator.
So until the end of my next round, I am covered in black hellish iron that gives me resist five all damage. - Wow. - So Malkus turns into Hellforge Tiefling, and then barrels down the line, provoking attacks of opportunity from Yenwyr and Rodswell if they take a swing. - Hey, I got a question. Do I also look like that too? That's what I'm wondering. Does that wanna look badass as well? - Well, you would look like the Malkus that you-- - Well, dammit. - Yeah, you would look, yeah. - Wanna be cool. - Okay, do either Rodswell or Yenwyrd want to attack Malkus as he stands up and sprints full bore at Ironhide?
- I'm prone. - Okay. - Oh, that's right. - I can't. - Can I just like grab Malkus? - Chokes land. - He would make a basic melee touch attack, and if he did, then it would be opposed strength checks to see if I get by. - Yeah. - Do you wanna try and grab him as he runs by? - I would bet on Yenwyrd with a strength check. That's awesome. - Yeah, I'm gonna do that. - I do not have a good chance of beating a strength check. So it occurs when I leave this space. So I would end up there. So make your attack roll first to get a touch attack on me. - Okay, what would that be?
So just a basic melee attack. - Basic melee attack, not including any proficiency bonuses from your weapon, because you're not using a weapon, you're using your hand. - Right, so it would just be. - What does it have to be? - Probably take whatever your basic melee with your axe is and subtract two from it. - That's still pretty high. - Yeah. - Whoops, I had one. - That's gonna be versus AC, so that'll miss. - Yeah, okay. - I didn't click enough though. I'm supposed to have plus 14, so it'd be like 19. - Yeah, still gonna miss. - Okay. - Does 19 hit your 24? - So I.
- Can I, I can't grab his ankle or anything. I can't. - You're prone, you wanted to go prone. - Well, I know, but I'm just saying. - He could try to grab my ankle. I technically pass his area and that doesn't, just being prone doesn't prevent him from making opportunity attacks. - Okay, then I'll do that, yeah. So how do I do that? What's that for me? - Half your level plus your strength modifier against my AC, I think. - D20 plus four and. - It was a bad feeling that by stopping Malchus, it's gonna like stop him just enough to where Ironhide just takes a free swing though.
- So D20 plus eight. - D20 plus four. - I thought it was half my level plus something. - Plus your strength modifier, which is nothing. - Oh, okay. 19. - Yeah, same thing. So both, okay. - Can we combine them? Can we combine them? (laughing) - So both, both Rodswell and Yanward try to stop Malchus. And both just miss him. - Fingertips, that's all we get. - I was gonna say no Captain Planet corollary, no our powers combined. - And you wanna make a basic melee attack there, Rob? - Yep, which later counts as, so it's a leader. - Oh, shit. - And if this hits, I do an additional five damage 'cause the Blazing Doom hit last time.
- Yeah, it hits one and it'll hit. - D12 plus 19. - Is that fire damage? - It is, it is necrotic damage. Oh, low on the dice though. - Eat that for breakfast. - 21 damage. Ironhide, your turn. - Oh, God. - You bitch. - So what's just happened is, Malchus stands up and in a, what can only be described as a complete fit of rage. Sprints with reckless abandon towards Ironhide. - And in black steel. - Coated in black steel, so just, just does not care anymore, runs past teammates who try to reach out and stop him in time, but just can't quite get there and stabs Ironhide in the chest.
Ironhide, your rebuttal. - Okay. Even though I can easily eat 21 damage, that still shakes me for a second. When I gather up my shit and open up with, it's kind of weird how Bree's shaking right now after 17 years of us being gone. And it seems like Ian has done something to wrong her. I wonder, maybe he's into girls, like little girls, and you weren't here to protect her, which she needed you most. - Oh, Malchus is Malchus. (laughing) - Oh my God. - He is looking daggers at you right now. - We'll see if he's staring anymore after this, 29. - Of what, what are you doing?
- Shut up, I get sand. - Purifying wound. - Okay, oh, another daily, Jesus, okay. - This is AC, 'cause I have dailies on me. - Okay, next time, let me know what you're doing, but that's fine, I mean, the modifier matches up, so I know you're not making it up. - Boy, I sure hope we don't have to fight anything today. - Yeah. - Wades, kill your dailies. - 48 plus six, Justin. - It's also ongoing fire damage until saving ends, and it takes ongoing fire damage almost. - If I'm still standing after this, I trigger the immediate reaction from my Emerald Shield to burn him for 11 radiant damage, if I'm still standing.
- Okay, let's see if you're still standing. - Good luck. - 24. - 24. - Yes! - Okay, holy shit, Malchus is down to 10 hit points. As an immediate reaction, Jarek is going to take another 11 damage, he is bloodied, both are bloodied. Are you done, Justin, is that it? - I'm also gonna use a something quagmire. - Eldritch quagmire. Okay, that is another daily, that is a minor personal daily. - God, now I fucking hope one of you die. - For those of you who don't know, you activate an aura two that lasts until the end of the encounter, or until you deactivate it as a free action.
The ground in the aura is difficult terrain for your enemies and that'll wrap you up. Rottswell, your turn. - Okay, move action, I stand up. Now, I can use a minor action and like I can, can I use my regular action as a move action to get an extra move action now? - No. - Wait, wait, wait. - He can use a standard to move. - I thought he was talking about a minor, okay, sorry, go. - Um, for minor action, I'm going to heal Malkus now. - Oh God, okay. - He gets seven hit points plus a healing surge. - I spend it, I take it. - All right. - Okay, and then for my standard action, I literally run the fuck away.
I can't take it. One, two, three, four, five. I'm freaking out, like I, this is too much for me. - The world is crumbling before you. - It is, it is, 'cause I, you know, look at you two. And by the way, Draconis, I want to point out, you stated that anybody that goes after Malkus is going after you too, but Malkus went after Ironhide first. That's why I attacked Malkus first, 'cause he started this whole thing. But yeah, everything's kind of crumbling right now and it's freaking me out. And in addition to that, I still got that thing going off in my head.
I've literally given up at this point. I have no healing left. I'm withdrawing myself completely. - For those of you keeping score at home, Ironhide is reduced to 29 hit points and is bloodied. Malkus is floating just above bloodied at 33 hit points. It is Thoril's turn. - So this is like a normal encounter to where if they go down to zero, they're unconscious, but not dead. - Yeah. - Okay. - Yeah, it's, yeah. All the standard rules apply. (inhales) - I delay my turn. - All righty. You are delayed Draconis. - Two, three, four, five. Okay. All right. - Big game for you, Superman.
- I love not knowing who's side each person's gonna act on each turn. (laughing) Kind of amazing. - All right, I am going to once again, I'm gonna scream out first to Ironhide this time. Ironhide, one last time. Will you stop this? - It's bound to work, though, Stiles. - You're like playing the rap you're asking about submissions. Are you ready? Are you submitting? - Do you quit? As he still dresses Malkus. - Yes, I am still dressed as the regular form of Malkus. (laughing) - So it's also confusing. - Yeah. - I'm not willing to back down. - Is that what you're saying?
That's what's happening? - Exactly. - All right, and Malkus, I'm gonna ask you one last time. Are you gonna stop this? - Malkus is silent, but he is still looking just viciously at Ironhide. - I have some feeling something bad's coming. - Yeah, I got a bad feeling we're gonna have something pop up here. - The mage is asking you if you wanna quit. (laughing) - I'm going to cast Fireball. - Jesus Christ. - I called that. - He's gonna nuke everybody. - Blast three within 20 squares, so let me get my AoE out here. - Jesus. - He can position it though to just hit the two of us.
- But now, as the Fireball crosses into my zone, it is slow. It's in rupturing. It is being warned. - That's my AoE right there. This is gonna hit only Malkus and Ironhide. - 'Cause I would've hit you with this axe, son. (laughing) - I would've got this work. - What is this hitting, our reflexes? - Hold on, let me see here. It's a D20 plus 12, this is, yes. Yep. - Okay, I'm gonna go on Malkus and then me. - Okay, roll on Malkus first and then. - All right, here we go. 16, okay. - Six. - You probably do half damage though on a hit. - Yes I do, yes. - Okay, I reduce your damage by an amount based on being a tiefling.
I resist Fire Nine, but when the damage comes around. - All right, and here comes Ironhide. - 30. - Good. - Yep, that hits. - Yep. - All right, here comes. - He's got a fire resistance though. - He has five fire resistance. - Six. - Six, okay. Roll damage. - Here comes damage. - What's the damage? - Uh, four D6 plus seven. 20. - 20, so. - Okay, so that. - Rob's gonna, okay. Okay wait, Malkus is gonna take one damage. - Yep, Malkus takes one. - Ironhide takes 14. - Yeah, Ironhide takes 14 damage. - He's down to 15. - And he is reduced to 15 hit points. - Whose turn is it now, I wanna know.
- It's Yenward's. - It is Yenward's turn. - Yenward's is having computer troubles, okay. I don't know what. - So you just watched this fireball arc in front of you, like a trebuchet launched it, and it just, the splash damage engulfs both of them in flame for just a moment, and the surrounding area is on fire. Like it's, things are getting very out of control very quickly. - Can I like to ask Ironhide will you stop this? - Hey, that's my move. - You scream stop it, stop it, stop it. Try to break one of our attentions. - Can I just like, will I kill one of them if I bomb rush them?
- At this point, you, yes, probably. - No, no, no, he would have to reduce, to kill he would have to reduce us to negative bloody. He's not gonna kill any of us on one hit. - It's Yenward. - Good, good, take a sweet lead on Ironhide and see what happens. - I dare you pussy. - Malchus looks at Yenward and says, Yenward, whose side are you on? - Yenward's gonna run after Rodswell? (laughing) - That's right, I saved that motherfucker in the first place, remember that. - I rode him into town. - I found him. - I'm just gonna turn around and Rodswell. - I'm crying, I'm crying right now.
- And that's all you wanna do on your turn? - Yeah. - Okay, Thoril you delayed, so we're at the end of initiative. Do you wanna just let it go? (sighing) - Thoril, surely you can see he's mad. - All right, I'll insert myself. - Again? (laughing) - Okay, Thoril's gonna stay back here for right this second, and he's gonna tell both Ironhide and Malchus, look, both of you guys are bloodied, I'm on neither one of your sides, you're not gonna stop this, I'm just gonna beat both of you down. - Oh shoot. - Technically, and I'm just tossing this out there, I'm a neutral party.
You could run up. - Yeah, I could hit both of them. I could hit one with one strike and one with the off hand. - You're very proficient at hitting with both of those, so. - But you lost an action point, so you could do one and your off hand on one of them, and then turn around to the other one and do it to the other one too. - Just kill them both. - And that would stop it. (laughing) Do it, that would stop everything. - Scrape them off, Claire. - I'm gonna give you guys a chance right now to stop this, or else I'm coming in and I'm just gonna knock both of you out.
- Better go ahead and say, if you interrupt right now, then this will never be done with. One of us will surely die. - And Malchus looks at him and says, try it. - Then we both turn on him and rip him apart. (laughing) - Thorol instantly dies. - Thorol, what do you wanna do? - Thorol will walk up two steps. - You're gonna make an enemy. - Make two enemies. - I will start with Ironhide. And of course, I'm gonna do my Beyblade basic attack. - Beyblade basic attack? - Beyblade. - Batting clean up. - Dave Wade. - That's enough. - Beyblade basic attack. 24 will just hit his AC.
- All right, all right. Now what's the damage? - 2d8 plus, oh man, I think you're gonna go down either way. - 19. - Yep, that's it. - Wow, Unconscious. - Jarek, okay. So wait a second. Ironhide has been knocked unconscious with a deadly ax blow. And I assume you're doing the offhand attack to Malchus now that you, or do you wanna continue to hit Ironhide? - I'm good, I'm gonna hit Malchus now. - All right, go ahead. - 18. - That will miss. - You can use your action point. - Fuck it, I'll pop my action point. - Oh my God. (laughing) Jesus Christ. - Really open again.
- Go ahead, Daelin, give it your worst. - If he kills you, I'll feel good. - I have a bad feeling here. - Well, wait, what are you doing to him before you roll? - Melee basic attack. - Now you know you don't get an offhand attack. - Yes. - Okay. - 22, I'm gonna do heroic effort to gain a plus four. - To attack him. - That will just hit with my Emerald Shield up. - Roll damage. - 2d8 plus 12, 17. - 17, okay. - You're gonna take damage. - The resist five, since I haven't had another action yet, my resist five from iron aspect is still up. - All right, that reduces Malkus to 20.
Ironhide has been knocked out. Now, Malkus, it's your turn. - Okay. - Here's the decision you're faced with. (laughing) - You guys dead. - Ironhide has been knocked unconscious. - It's about to fuck you up, Thor. Half of your teammates are running into the field. Thoril is now attacking you just to get you to stop. You are standing over the body of Ironhide. What do you wanna do? - In all of my most hopeful dreams, I did not imagine that I would have this opportunity. - Thoril and Sivnalkus. - From where I am, I just yell out, Brianna, as loud as I can. - It's not your turn.
- Oh, fuck. You just gotta go there, don't you? So Malkus has just felt himself get attacked by Thoril and has seen Ironhide drop. Malkus spins toward Thoril, lifts his obsidian blade and swings down toward Thoril's throat, but halts himself like right before. And all of a sudden you kind of see like the humanity coming back into his eyes. And his obsidian blade fades out and the metal armor, like the metal armor goes away too and everything. And he's just looking, he just looks around at Thoril and Ironhide with just this look of sheer horror on his face.
And he drops to his knees. Malkus starts pumping Ironhide's chest and does a heel check. (laughing) - He's not breathing, he hasn't been breathing for a while. Oh my God. - It's not gonna be a good heel check, but it's a heel check. - We got you guys, he's cold as steel. (laughing) - It's just dramatically ineffective. - Malkus apparently not knowing much about Warforged biology. Yeah, he's drastically jumping up and down on Ironhide's chest to no effect. As the team looks on. - And he's just saying to himself over and over, "What have I done? What have I done?" - So are Yennber and Russ will just continue into front of Wayne?
- Yeah, we're like half a mile by now. - I'm still freaking out, like I'm, you know. - Kind of forgot why I'm running, it's just like. - I don't know why it's so funny to imagine Malkus jumping up and down on Ironhide going, "Liv, damn you!" - Okay, read this. - Thanks again. - Since we're out of combat, can I allow him to use a healing surge? I have that thing, right? - You guys can totally heal up and- - Just let him sleep for a while. (laughing) - You guys can totally heal up. Now, you have used- - I'm gonna lose Malkus, I mean Ironhide. - Here's the thing, between Ironhide and Malkus, they've pretty much used all their dailies for the day.
Draconis did use Fireball, so that is checked off. - Yep. - And yeah, you guys are gonna have to spend some surges to get back up to normal. Now, is there anything roleplay-wise, do you want me to skip forward a little bit in time? Like while they're nursing their wounds? I mean, do you wanna just go from right here? - I still like having the moment, I kinda want something here. - So, right now Ironhide- - Can Ironhide do anything yet? He's unconscious. - He's absolutely, yeah, he's unconscious, so yeah. - So Ironhide can't do anything. - Okay, I'm shooting daggers at you, Malkus.
You wanna do something with that, that's fine. But I'm not in a position right now where I can really- - Approaching- - You can still do heal checks to trigger the surges. You don't need to have your magic to do heal checks. - Oh, how do I do a heal check? - It's a skill, look on your skill list. - Yep. - Skill. - It should be pretty high, well, it's a plus four. Why is your heal check so low? Oh no, that's not you, that's- - Oh yeah, that's Draconis. - Table's being weird, sorry. - It did it to me too, so. - You have a plus 15, that makes much more sense. - No, it's a D.
- He can't fail, 'cause I think it's a 15 to trigger a healing surge. - Yeah, so- - Okay, yeah, so I do that to, I do a check on Ironhide. - Ironhide, I imagine you wanna spend some surges to get the hell up here. - Probably. - Do you wanna get back to full? - Yeah. - Okay. - Fuck, I got nine left. - You have a- - Okay, okay, so the DM's not doing his job, okay, cool. (laughing) - I'll remember that. - Awesome. - Malchus will surge to full as well, and when Ironhide comes to, the first thing he sees is Malchus just sitting in front of him, like completely broken, just staring at the ground.
- So Ironhide is now conscious, you have three surges remaining. Malchus is sitting in front of him, he has four surges remaining, so you guys did a shitload to each other. You guys went for the jugular, I'll give you both that. - How close are we to the, what were they called? - The White Ravens? - Yeah, how close are we to the White Ravens? - It's a little bit of a walk, I mean they're not too far away from Winterhaven. - Is it a safe passage or? - So far, yes, it's been a safe passage. - Okay, I start walking. - Okay. - They can follow me if they want. - Okay.
- Okay. - I have nothing to say to either of them. - Boom, Rod Swell walks off. - Disappears. - Never to be seen again. (laughing) - Yennward follow, come on Yennward, come on. - I wanna ride you. - And Yennward too. Okay, Yennward walks away as well. - I'm just gonna say Draconis is gonna go back to his normal form, just wanna point that out. - Okay. - It's pretty effective there. (laughing) - You do indeed look like Draconis again. Do you wanna follow Rod Swell and Yennward or do you wanna stick around and? - You know what, I'm gonna go behind this tree and I'm gonna wait.
- Like are you stealthing behind the tree? Like are you hiding behind the tree? - I'm just gonna walk over a tree, lean against the tree and just hang out. - Okay. - I'm not gonna leave, I'm just gonna hang out and make sure nothing goes down while everybody leaves and then they fight again. - Okay. - Stop it, stop it, stop it. - Mind me what they're waiting on. - That's probably. - And Thor, what do you wanna do? - I'm gonna join Draconis, but first I'm just gonna kinda look at both of them and say, are you happy? Are you happy this is what it's come to? - Malchus just keeps his head down in shame.
- So Malchus and Ironhide, what do you guys wanna do? - Scrape my blade. (laughing) - Roll for initiative, let's go. (laughing) - Go home and get your shine box. - You motherfucker. (laughing) - Is Ironhide standing or still seated right now? - He's getting up, he plunged his blade into the ground so he uses like a walking staff, so he's like kind of leaning up against it, getting his crap together. - Just staring right down at you now. - Malchus doesn't make eye contact, he keeps looking down. He says, I am not fit to save anyone. - At this point I'm gonna offer my hand and say, your kill was taken from you, do you wish to claim it now?
- Of course not Ironhide. I don't know what came over me. What had to, in order to save this land, you need to become the tiefling that we need. - And then Malchus just kind of looks up at him and squints, he's just not sure. - You need to be willing to kill innocents if that brings you closer to saving this land. - Who do you mean, who are you talking about? - Talking about Ian, he's in our way. - You think right now that he's not talking off Talion's ear right now to say this is a terrible idea that we're not to be trusted, that he knows us? - We, Malchus just looks back down again, he can't find the words.
- I've got an idea, but we need to know exactly what happened to Bree. We need to talk to her and get information from her and confront Ian. - At that, Malchus will nod, and did you say you had your hand out to Malchus? - Yeah. - Malchus will take your hand and if you hoist him up. - Yeah. - And he will silently follow the party back to the White Ravens. - And I'm imagining Thor on Draconis after you see them walk off, you're gonna kind of-- - Oh yeah. - Okay. - Yeah, just made sure nothing went down. - Now, are they holding hands all the way back? - Yes. (laughing) - It's very romantic, we're skipping.
- And every once in a while I curl my fingers in and just lightly brush his palm. (laughing) - Nuzzle cheeks. - Real cute. - I wanna make an athletic check to see if we're skipping back. (laughing) - Roll for initiative. (laughing) - I ain't no (beep) - So you guys are making your way back to the White Ravens. Upon getting back to the entrance of the cave, where you know it to be, you're noticing a lot of hustle and bustle. There's a lot of activity. Whereas before, there's no guard standing outside of it. There's nothing that would indicate that that cave would be special in any way.
And now you're seeing people run in and out and there's a lot of activity. These appear to all be White Ravens, like they're all wearing the armband or something. It's not a raid or anything, but there is definitely something up. - Okay, what's her name? The vampire hunter. - Liara. - Liara, okay. I immediately just find Liara, explain to her that we have in writing now that we have the sport of Winter Haven, 'cause that's what we were going for in the first place. - I almost forgot about that. (laughing) - And I go into the gate room area and just start working.
Like that's what we're here for. So. - Can I come front Liara if that's okay? - Well, wait a second, wait a second, wait a second. Unless you were just walking by and just like shoving the paper in her face and then just keep walking, like she's gonna wanna speak to you. - Okay, let's do it. - Okay. That's fantastic, but we need you right now. - What's going on? - The elves are making their move and we have to either back them up or capitalize on a gap. The clear cutting operation by the Warforged is right on the edge of the Evergreen. The elves are currently attacking the Warforged right now.
This hasn't happened in years. No one's made a move against the Warforged. We can stop their entire clear cutting operation right now and gain favor with the elves. There is a drawback though. - What's that? - Who is this? - Brianna wants to take a small party and head directly into the center of the clear cutting operation while a larger force distracts the Warforged on the edge. - Okay. - We have no idea what's in the center of the operation. We do know that that's where the shots are being caught from on the edge of the Evergreen, but we have no idea, no way of knowing what's in the center.
- So scary. - What if we were the party that accompanied Brianna? - I couldn't ask you to take that on. If you wanna speak to Brianna about it, be my guest. Where's the rest of your party? - I look around where- - Well, you marched off first, so you're gonna- - Yeah, Ynward. - Yes, Ynward, yeah. - They're settling some issues. They should be here in no time. - I hope you guys are well rested because this is gonna be huge. - Oh, nice. - Ynward and I are trying to find Brianna. Do the other guys get back as we're doing this? - Yeah, it takes a while to cut through everyone.
There's a hell of a lot of activity and it's a narrow cave, so it's, excuse me, pardon me, pardon me, that kind of thing. So I spot Malkus and Ironhide and Thorol and Draconis come in before I find Brianna. So I go and I head them up and I stand in front of them and I go, "Look, we have no time, okay? I don't care. What happened happened, it's over. Are we good?" - I picture this being, so Malkus and Ironhide standing side by side and I picture this like, Malkus has still got like huge, like a huge swollen cheek and like, you know, like there's a trickle of blood coming out of his mouth.
There's like, you know, there's like wounds in his side and everything. I imagine Ironhide's looking pretty torn up too. - Yeah, you guys are both pretty thwomped. - Yeah, and Malkus just looks at Ironhide and just waits like to see what Ironhide's response is. - We should be good for the moment. - Okay, because here's the deal. The war forge and the elves, so the elves attacked the war forge, right? - Yes. - The elves have made a move against the war forge already. Brianna wants to take a group of people, a group of us in the center of the action as another group attacks from the outside.
I think that we should be the group that goes into the center considering our place in the whole situation. I don't know if you guys have it in you and I need to know right now if you do. - Malkus just like spits a little blood off to the side and says, "No rest for the wicked apparently." - Fuck it, let's do this. - I don't know if we got it. - Okay, so now we need to find Brianna. - Kind of charging back, there's a horde, just the swarm of people and you haven't seen this kind of activity there yet. We're talking like 50, 60 people strong and that's doesn't sound like a lot, but in the small cave, it's a lot of people.
So it looks like they're grabbing everybody who's able-bodied. So this is what they have to fight with. A lot of their guys are scouts. So that's how they deal more in information than attack, but they're figuring if they pair up with the elves, then they can at the very least keep the warforged distracted while you guys do what you need to do. - Right. - And Brianna is kind of charging forward from the back of the cave system, heading towards the entrance. And she marches past you guys and she grabs Malchus by the arm and just starts tugging forward and motions for all of you to follow.
I'll explain on the way, but I need you guys right now. - Malchus doesn't resist being tugged along. - We follow. - Yeah, we follow. - Okay, let me load up the next map. (laughs) - Well, I don't like that laugh. - Well, this is gonna be interesting now. - So there's no reaction from Brianna about the state of Malchus or Ironhide at this point? - She's not paying attention to that whatsoever. She's charging forth and it's very single-mindedly at the moment. So she's more worried about getting her people mobilized and getting out there because this is already happening and you guys have quite a march through the forest.
You can't take roads. So this is all thickets and forest travel. So it's gonna take a while. - The gate. - The what now? - Pull out the gate. - What gate? - The gate. - I mean, it's, that's, that is something. Would you like to try to use the gate? - I think I should at least discuss, but I wanna hear what Brianna is. Like, is she taking us out? Is she? - Well, the plan is everyone's just marching out. Like this is a small band of people. So this is, everyone's just marching outward. Yeah, they're just marching out of the cave now. - Okay, I hold up, Brianna. - Yeah, what?
- What do you think about the possibility of us using the gate to get there? - We have no idea where that's gonna put us though. - Might be worth a shot. - I mean, even if it, even if it does, okay, even if we could direct it and we enter into the forest, we have no idea. Do you have any idea how large the Evergreen is? We're talking miles of thick forest. - Okay, I won't resist. I pull back and I say, okay, I'll take it your no best. And she gets ready and changes direction and starts heading back towards the entrance. But she stops for a second and says, look, we're gonna get it activated.
We're gonna figure it out, but now's not the time. We just, like time is of the essence. We need to go. - Okay. - This band splits up and... - You're not supposed to split the party. - Well, when the party gets to about 60 or 70. (laughing) - The first episode, you said don't split the party. (laughing) - Yeah, but they did it on group two already. So now we... - And look at where they are. - It's template four. (laughing) - We're group one, we know better. (laughing) - They reach this thicket and there's two paths that kind of diverge. And Leora and Brianna kind of separate themselves and you can see that they're kind of talking something over.
And then after a few moments, Brianna leans over and kind of hugs Leora. And Leora's a bit taller than Brianna. And Leora just kind of pats her on the back and then they separate and Leora takes the majority of everyone that accompanied you guys and marches into the thicket and down the one path. And Brianna motions to you guys and asks you to follow her down the other. - And away we go. - Now is this like a day travel? Like how far is this travel? - Well, you guys are actually, you guys were rounding out the day before. So we're right around sunset now anyway.
- So he's asking if it'll take like a full day to get into dailies. - No. No. No such luck, I am sorry. - You said it was miles and miles of liar. - Right, but you're not, it's not a thing that's at the stroke of midnight, you guys get your dailies back. It still requires sleep, which you guys aren't gonna get walking to. You know, it's not gonna happen. Sorry. - I can carry one of them and they can sleep on my haunches. - I'm done with that. - We could rig up a pulley system. (laughing) That's a nice try though. That's a good question. - I love that we got a daily out of Draconis too.
Like it wasn't just me and Ironhide. - Yeah. He spent his big one, so he tried it peacefully and that did not work. So Brianna's kind of taking the lead here and she's talking to Malkus, but not looking at him and she's marching forward and she's kind of jogging. And she says, if we hurry, we can probably get there before they send reinforcements. Did you guys speak to Ian? Did he offer any kind of support? And as she's speaking, she's looking back at Malkus and she sees your face for the first time. And she stops dead. - And without missing a beat, Malkus just answers her, yes, we got his support.
And he just keeps moving. - She stops dead and reaches out and grabs your cloak. And her fists start doing that glowing thing. - Oh shit. - And she says, did he touch you? - And Malkus looks back at her and says, didn't you say we have no time? - And you kind of trail off with that. And she starts jogging to catch up. And for the first time, you guys are gonna fight with Brianna. - She's been in this battle before. - I took that the wrong way just now. - Maybe we do. - Guess what fuckers? - It's a trap. - It was a poorly timed ambush. Now it's me against you. - I think Brianna had one role before at one point.
- It was like hide slash cower. - Yeah. - Like eight year old pain in the ass. - That was. - Well, maybe that will change this time. So you're wandering through this, as you get closer and closer to your objective, there's more and more war forged activity. And you're hearing them through the trees and things like that. And it's inevitable that you stumble into a patrol of them. So go ahead guys, roll initiative. - Big money, no whammies. - Getting beast initiatives today. - Whammy 22, I'm the best. - They just tell me characters like a big dumb oaf. I have to have the worst initiative.
- Makes sense. - I concur. - It's like, oh, we're fighting, okay. - How easily confused are the war forged? - How do you mean? - They're not sentient, they're not. - I was gonna throw that call on Ironhide here and see what happens. We still have it somewhere. - Can we try that before it failed miserably? - No, no, no. He was just caught at the gate with it. - Yeah. Should have thought about it before we got in here. Oh shit, we totally should have, because then from a distance, we could have held them like he was our prisoner, right? - Well, how would that help you with the war?
- I don't know, but it'd be fun. (laughing) - Hey guys, look, okay, they're charging. - Oh no, that totally pissed him off. - We can all hide inside Ironhide and then rush him like a Trojan horse. - Oh, I like it. - Justin, XJN from the chat said he loved your, do you want your kill line? He said that was very satisfying, that was very dramatic. - All right, getting back to it. - Okay, before we go back, Jason, I'll address one more question from the chat and it is to the players. Players rate Jason's ability to role play female characters on a scale of one to 10.
- 15. - I was aroused. - Six. - I had the weirdest boner. - I mean, he doesn't necessarily, I don't think Jason goes super, like he doesn't get super happy with the voices, but he certainly, I feel like the characters are well performed. - Here's the thing though, it depends on the character because Brianna and Leora aren't ultra-feminine characters. Now we've already seen, now Tally on the other hand is, she's more of a noble woman and so given the circumstances. - You did play the shit out of that when you were just like, oh, let's send you. - A little treat for those in the chat.
- When it happened live, Draconis was actually under the bed during that entire. - You did not. - That's not a kid. - That is true. - That's kid. - No matter how much you want it to be. - Like a drug-addled nightmare. - You're outnumbered, Dan. - This is a little, that's a deleted scene. You see. - That is the Greedo shot first of DNR. - Special scenes on the DVD. - Yes. - That is our Greedo shot first. - George Lucas does the read up version and it's like, oh, well it turns out he was under the bed the entire time. - Under the CGI Draconis under the bed. - Yep, this awful CGI Draconis.
The DNR version of. - I like the puppet Draconis way better. This is stupid. - We use practical effects on DNR. We don't use, we don't cop out. - Yeah, but when we have the money, we're gonna go back and fix that. - Yes. Initiative, this is interesting. It's gonna be Malchus, then Ironhide, then Brianna. - That's fun. - Redguard. - Malchus, go right ahead. - Okay. - I'm not last. - Yes. - This looks way too open and suspicious, so Malchus is not gonna go the whole way in. He's gonna go one, two, three, four and drop an Eldritch bolt on Redguard. - Okay. So just a reminder, these particular Warforged, you can immediately tell whose side they're on because they're wearing that red leather armor and they got those red bladed scimitars.
- Are we still doing a plus one for speedy decision-making? - We absolutely are. - Okay. - Is there any? - Inverse reflex. 22. - That'll hit. - Okay. D10 plus 14, 24 damage. - Awesome, 24 damage. Bam. Do you wanna do anything else? - No, that's all for me. - Okay, Ironhide, your turn. - All right. One, two, three, four, five, six. I'm gonna use Lightning Lore on number Redguard one. - Okay. - What is it, what is it? This gets there, four, two, and it's a 27. That's almost a crit. Boom, what's up? - Almost a crit, okay. Row damage, sir. - This is almost a crit. It does maximum damage.
That's impressive. Seven damage, ooh. Seven damage and the target is yoked up by the neck. And drug right in front of you. All right, anything else? - I'm gonna use a Geass of Assault on him. - Okay. Which is still under debate how you pronounce that 'cause I've received four emails and they're all different. - How can you, like emails and then it says how you should pronounce it? - Well, you know like the dictionary definition type thing? - Well, how do they say? - Well, there's four different pronunciations apparently. Like people, yeah. So that's it. - Is that target prone or no?
Okay, yeah, I guess it's not prone I guess. - No, the target's not prone. It's just yanked. Yeah, you just kind of pull. That is your scorpion, get over here. Brianna's turn. (dramatic music) Brianna is gonna take a sec and kind of get her footing. And both of her fists light up and her pupils are gone. Just that her eyes just go black. And she's going to race forward in a full on sprint. - Oh shit. - Right up to Redguard one. And she is going to use Psionic Punch. - All I can think now is Falcon Punch. - So she rears back and this is a D20 plus 14, 26. That's against AC.
This is interesting. - Can we get some J-pop to play in the background? 'Cause I'm picturing Dragon Ball Z right now. Just turn. (laughing) - This is 48 plus 15. Now you're gonna see the drawback to this in a moment. That's 31 damage. And the target is going to fly backwards six spaces. So what's happened is she races up to this thing, pulls back and punches it clean in the gut. And there is an explosion that just ripples through this thing and jettisons it 30 feet backwards. And he flips over this big pile of rocks and he is prone. So not only did he take 31 damage, but he is prone now too.
So Redguard one is bloodied. The drawback of which is Bree is temporarily exhausted. - She used her Hyper Pump. - I appreciate the Pokemon references. - Hey, you're welcome, Rob. (laughing) Redguard number five's turn. One, two, three, four. Up here. - I like how he opened. He opened strong, you guys. (laughing) - He is going to race forward and charge at Bree. He's gonna use Wild Charge. So that's a D20 plus 11. 13, that's gonna miss Brianna. And Redguard number two's turn. He's gonna use two movement actions and get up to Brianna, but that's it. And then we got the Redguard captain who is going to just stand there.
And Redguard number one. Redguard number one is going to stand up and then start marching back toward everyone. And then we got Draconis. - That's bravery there. - All right, that is fun stuff right there. I'm going to move, wait, I might not have to. One, two, three, four, five, six. All right, I don't have to move. I'm gonna use Fire Burst, which is a burst two within 20 squares. So I'm gonna do it right here. And that is gonna, all right. - Very nice. - And this is gonna be for reflex, it's gonna be a D20 plus 12. - Okay, start with the captain. - All right, captain, boom, 20.
- That'll hit. And Redguard number one. - Number one, 14. - That'll miss and Redguard number five. - Oh, nice. - That'll miss too and Redguard number two. That will definitely hit. So you hit the captain and Redguard two. - All right. - That and 500, not bad. - Take that, 19 damage. - So Redguard one still gets hit. So that's another 10 damage. - And take him down, five. - Not quite, no. He's gotten the shit kicked out of him though so far. Is there anything else, any ongoing damage, anything like that? - Nope, not on that one. So I'll take AOEs off. - And that brings us to Redguard four.
He is going to, Redguard number four is going to approach Brianna and he's going to use a scimitar swipe. D20 plus 10, 14, that is gonna miss. - That'll miss. - Thoril, your turn. - She's gonna be surrounded. - I just like how they watch the Redguard like get punched 30 feet and their first instinct is to bull rush the person who did that. - Yep. (laughing) - Let's see, one, two, three. - The mentality there I guess would be you can't hit all of us, right? - Five, six, I'll move up here to four. And da da da da da da da da, good old Bailey Mays attack. - Naily Basic attack.
Bally's Total Fitness attack. - I said Bally Mays for a second. (laughing) - Oxy clean his ass. - I'd like to hit him with my Oxy head. - 30. - 30 will hit sir. - Oxy head, God dammit. 15, dammit. - 15 damage and I assume you're gonna follow that up. - Yeah, why not? - Hang on, I'll just, it's a lot. - 31, it's even harder. - It always does, go ahead and roll damage. - There we go, 18. - 18, see that's impressive right there. - It's like you punch him and then hit him with the elbow on the way back around. - Nice. - Rotswell. - Okay, tell me a little bit about Brianna's effect on her right now.
- Well, see, I don't wanna spoil anything. What you saw her do was impressively punch someone and then it's almost like she kind of slumps over. Like that takes a lot out of her. - Right, I need to know because would a saving throw do anything for her? - No, no, no, there's no status effect on her. - Okay. - It's just she's, yeah. - Okay, that's what I wanted to know. - Imagine she can't do crap for like a turn. - Okay, 'cause if I could, then I was gonna do something with a saving throw. But if not, then I'm just going to do a blessing as a battle. It's D20 plus 16 plus 18 for combat advantage plus 19 for being speedy and 33.
- Against four? Yeah, that'll totally, totally hit. - Okay, so that's one D8 plus eight. My thing's being slow, sorry. 14. - 14 damage. - Okay, and let's see, I'm not level 21. - No. (laughing) But no, I do have an effect. Me or one ally within five squares of me gains resistance to all damage until the end of my next turn. Brianna. - Okay, very nice. (laughing) - The resistance, I'm sorry. It says, that's weird. Okay, resistance to all damage, that means all types of damage. But the resistance equals my constitution modifier. So. - That would be constitution three.
- Three. - So that's three resist against any time, like fire, acid. - Right, against all damage, so it's all types of damage. - Yeah, I thought all damage is a little. - Yeah, that's for something that's not even, you know, in counter power, that would be insane. - Yeah. - Yenward, your turn. - Yeah, okay. So, yeah, I can reach four, right? Fine, yeah. Okay, and I'm gonna use reckless strike, which is the 20 plus 15, 'cause I'm fast. 28. - Against four? - AC. - Oh, that hits, yeah. - Yes, okay, yes, good, yes. And six D10 plus eight. (laughing) Plus nine, 'cause I'm speeding.
- Rob, tell me again how he couldn't have killed you in one hit. - What, no, he hasn't rolled his damage yet though. What's going on? - I know, but I'm saying, I mean, let's just say six D10, like if he would have rolled a crit by accident. - Well, yeah, I'm a gambling man, Jason. I'm a gambling man. - I know, I'm just saying. - I'm a gambling man. - Yenward, oh, whoopsies, I cut his head off. I'm so sorry. (laughing) - That's exactly what he would say too, my bad. - Exodia, obliterate on him. - 31 damage. - 35. - 35 damage, shit. - You're gonna kill him. - Or Reed.
- Yeah, for the sake of... - Just imagining like a decapitated Malchus and Yenward just standing over him going, "Oh shit, I'm sorry, dude." - I hit him too hard, so sorry. (laughing) - That's my bad. - I'll mind that. - You okay? - And he takes some leaves and just puts it right over his head. No one knows. - No. - Redguard four is bloodied now. Anything else you wanna do, sir? - Just wanna mug at him real hard. - Okay. (laughing) And the Redguard, when you hit him, he does that thing where you're getting ready to trip over a small coffee table or something where he's just trying to catch his balance, but not quite.
Redguard number three. - Also, that axe of his does a lot more damage to these guys, the Warforge, 'cause it's Medan Electric, so. - Oh, well, they don't really have a weakness to... - I'm just saying, like, Warforge, like, that's like the worst case scenario. It's like, not only is a Minotaur swinging, a giant axe at you, but it's also made out of lightning. (laughing) - So... - Everybody in the chat, #StormRender. Thank you. (laughing) I'm gonna check. - I'm gonna check your work. - So, okay, here we go again. Redguard number three is going to run into position and wild charge at Brianna. 28, that one's gonna hit.
- And also, I'm gonna hit the Viking also. - Yeah, yeah, so that would have been 30. So yeah, that's definitely gonna hit. So that is a 3d8 plus nine. Ooh, 23 damage to Brianna. - The #StormRenders are pouring in. - He might miss. - That's like the D&D equivalent of being, like performing at a concert and being like, "Yo guys, make some noise!" - And then the crowd shouts, "Play Freebird or Green Flame Blade." (laughing) - White Raven. - Malchus, your turn. - Okay, before I go, there's also a request for a patented Tyler sigh. That wasn't Tyler. - There it is.
- Goodnight, everybody. - Tommy got the lungs for it. - So, oh, there's a bloody guy. I like bloody guys, I do more damage to them. (laughing) Wait a minute. Plus one to attack, I'm gonna hold on bloody foes. I'm gonna, this is, I'm better in melee, so let's move up there. Soul Eater, that's the thing I do. - Bridge Racer. 28, that will hit. - I love this build, it's so accurate. - 24. - 24 for necrotic damage. - That will finally kill Redguard number one, guys. - Hurrah! - Oh, nice. - I'm in kind of a trouble state, so I'm gonna fire off my Iron Aspect again, get all my hellish black iron and resist five level damage 'cause I'm up in the fray.
- Ironhide, your turn. - All right, on number, firstly, on number two, I'm gonna use my ageus, ageus of assault. And, I'm gonna tune up the band. For number five, I'm gonna use Green Flame, flame! Woo! (laughing) There you go, that's what I thought. - Hashtag Green Flame Blade is going through the chat now. - Damn, that was quick. - 19 didn't do shit. - Hold on, hold on, you're targeting, what's that to, AC? - Yeah, five. - Yeah, that's gonna miss. - All right. (laughing) Well, I still got the ageus of assault. - It's turn two. - All right. - You get the fucking Green Flame blade out and then you limp dick it, Jesus.
- The dice did that, the dice did it to me. - Dice, oh, you did it to me. - Hey, Giggy. - Hey, that's relevant. (laughing) There we are, guys, we're relevant. - Oh. - Now I'm bummed, the grim specter of Andrew Dice Clay is now hovering over the show, like it just. - Well, he's gonna die soon, you know, he can't have much more time. - I have him on my death bowl, I hope so. - You know what's crazy, Jesus. - He's in a Woody Allen movie and he's getting like great reviews for it too. - How did he make it into a Woody Allen movie? - I don't know, I have no idea, but like I was reading the movie and it's like, that's part Andrew Dice Clay.
- Is Woody Allen senile at this point? - From what I can tell though, he's just playing Andrew Dice Clay. Like it's just, he's playing a character. - He's been playing that character for years. - Little Miss Muffet, oh, that guy. - He literally just, it's a Woody Allen movie and he literally just starts doing his Andrew Dice Clay in the middle of it. - Jack and Jill went up the hill. - Ah, get over here, ah. Wait, that was Rodney Dangerfield, wasn't it? - That was Slippy, you get no respect. - I don't know, Andrew, I mean, see what you're talking about. - Oh!
- Can we please stop? - Rod's fall from now on is Andrew Dice Clay. - That's a skill that was mine. - Yeah, and right from now on is Woody Allen. - I am not afraid to kill off a PC. (laughing) - I've done it before and I'll do it again. - Why do you have to be so violent? - That's an old Jewish grandma, like you just looked. Maybe you care for her, no? - Hello, honey. - Stop, you want I should talk normal again? - Give me some Virginia Slims while you're out of the gas station, I'm gonna get in the hot tub. - Now you just said like every extra from the critic.
(laughing) - We just keep talking. - Brianna, Brianna's gonna take a turn. Brianna is kneeling down and she's gonna use a little something called charge. And I'm gonna roll a flat D20, 11. What that does is she's kind of like composing herself for the next attack. So this attack, she gets to do nothing but stand there. That's the drawback. What charge does though, is gives an opportunity for her to get a bonus to her next attack if it lands. So she'll do plus 10 damage the next time an attack lands. - She is super saiyan. - Red guard five, but the problem is unlike DBZ, like damage is still going on in real time.
No one's stopping to pose and mug and scream. - The warforged aren't putting a lens over their eye and checking her power level as she does this. - It's Vegeta. - Nobody say it. - Sorry. - I do a good Napa though. - Everybody does a good Napa. - That's not true. - Oh Vegeta, what's his power level say? (laughing) - Wow. - It's over. (laughing) Hashtag. (laughing) - You're over. All right, we heard him chat, try to articulate, whatever that noise was, it's in your hashtag. - I'm gonna let man's testicles be electrocuted. - So the turn is who's next? (laughing) - This is some old school.
This is old school DNR when there was no plot and we just fucking did stuff. Red guard number five. You pooped the bed, what? - I drooled on my bed from like-- - Drooled? - Trying to, I had my mouth open laughing and I actually drooled. Red guard number five is gonna attack Brianna with his scimitar. Actually, you know what he's gonna do? No, he's not gonna do that. He's gonna use Savage Sweep, which is a close burst one and that he'll attack both Ironhide and Brianna. Brianna first, 15 that'll miss and an Ironhide 25, that'll hit. Yep. 2d8 plus six, 14 damage to Ironhide.
Brianna has been really lucky so far. - Yep. - In this war forged on war forged violence. - And number two is just gonna use a scimitar. So-- - On who? - On Brianna, that's the only one he's in reach of. - Ha ha! - Ooh, 31, that will definitely, definitely hit her. - And my Aegis of Assault is taking effect. - You're gonna piss off like two or three listeners and you're doing it on purpose. - Let's rest. - The Aegis of Assault. (laughing) Oh God, okay, 17 damage to Brianna. She is bloody, she's down to 20 hit points. - Okay, I'm gonna swing at her. - Red guard patrol leader.
- Oh damn it, the chat's pouring in with I got that guy. - Aegis of Assault there, yes. - Oh yeah, go ahead, yeah that was on five. - Okay, well I rolled 30, which is pretty cool. - Okay, so go ahead and make, yep, you did damage. So proud of you, Bobby. - 10 damage, Bobby. - 10 damage to number two. And that brings us to, okay, you know what's gonna happen now, now this is happening. - Oh shit. - The Red Guard patrol captain is going to use Blunted Mind on Jerrik. Actually what he's gonna do is burst area three. He, right, he's gonna file in right behind number five and gonna use Blunted Mind, which is area burst three.
So that's gonna be Jerrik, Brianna, Yenward and Malkus. - Damn it. - So this is a D20 plus 11, I'll go right down the line here, Jerrik, 16, this is versus Will. - That misses. - Malkus, 31, oh that's a crit, yeah nevermind. - Jesus, yikes. - Brianna, 23. - That hits. - That hits her Will. And Yenward, I don't think your Will's very high, so 23. - Stupid. - It hits. Okay, Malkus, right off the bat, you're gonna take 12 plus, you're gonna take 16 damage. - I will do, hold on, I have a thing to fire off when I'm taking damage here. And it is Infernal Wrath. I will Tiefling on him and he takes a flat D6 of damage from me, fire damage.
- Okay. - So if I-- - Valis has something similar. - Look, it's a quality of people. - So he's gonna take, so for his trouble, he's gonna take four damage right off the bat. So let's roll damage on that wonderful attack, guys. And okay, so 10, so Ironhide's taking 10, Yenward's taking 10. - It's horseshit. - This is bush league, guys. And Brianna's taking 10, Brianna's down to 10 life. - Jeez. - Wait, what? - Ugh. - I knew she was gonna die. - You're gonna dodge all those attacks and then just gonna be taken out like that? - It's a good thing she dodged those attacks.
- Draconis, your turn. - All right, let's fuck shit up. We're gonna go with Fountain of Flame. - Oh shit. - All right, this is burst one within 10. So what I'm gonna do, and it's only enemies, so I'm putting it right here. So this is gonna hit these three. Let's see, pop this bad boy up. And this is, what is it? What's R? Resistance, what's that about? What's that? - Wait, what happened? - I'm rolling, it says it's towards their R. That's called what now? - Reflex. - That's what I was talking about. - I thought you were saying aura, and I'm like, what aura? There's no aura.
- I'm gonna use my aura. - Fire aura. No, 29, yeah. - Okay, okay, we're rolling straight down the line here. So the guard, okay, so 29 will hit him. - All right, and this is number five. - Okay. - 23. - Against reflex, that'll hit. - All right, and two. Oh, that didn't hit. - That'll miss. So you're hitting the guard captain and five. - All right, boom, boom, boom. This is damage 24. And this is half, by the way, too. So five will get hit. - The guard captain is bloodied. - Good, funnels. - And this is where the AOE, it remains there, and when the enemy begins their turn, they take five damage.
- All right, so keep that right there. Before you end your turn, Brianna is going to stand back up and shout to everyone, get back. - Oh, shit. - You still have a move action, by the way. - Me? - Yes. I don't know if you want a move. - I was about to say, I'm-- - I'm just-- - Yeah, I got you. I'll stay where I'm at. I should be good. - I'm just letting you know what you have, that's all. - You know what, no. You know what, ready? Watch this, here we go. And done. (laughing) - Okay, Redguard number four. He's gonna swing at you inward. - Good. - He feels slighted.
- Try me. - And actually-- - I didn't make the other guys bleed? - What the hell? - No, no. Savage Sweep is what he's gonna use. He's gonna attack, it's a burst one, so he's gonna attack, oh, Jesus. Yeah, he's gonna get Rodswell, Thoril, Yenward, and Bri. - You're not even real, four, you suck. (laughing) - So right down the line here, Rodswell, 14 versus AC. - Ha, nope. - Yeah. Thoril, 24 versus AC. - Oh, just barely hit. - And Yenward, 26 versus AC. - Still any real though? - Moment of truth. What's he do against Brianna? 12 against Brianna, that'll miss. - With...
- Like the worst Redguard out here, just the same. (laughing) - Thoril, make it fun. So that's 12 to Thoril and Yenward. - They ain't even nothing, you're weak, you're soft. - Uh, Thoril, your turn. - I could do my attacks and then move, right? - Sure can. - All right, well, let's see, good old melee basic attack. - Let me finish stealth number four, you go after number two, okay. - What, no, no, no, 'cause as soon as I'm done with this, I'm rightfully getting the fuck out of the way. I don't know what she's gonna do, but I'm leaving after this. - So I could move this critness.
- Yep, so I'm just gonna get the fuck out of the way. I think he gets a chance to swing at me again, doesn't he? - If you're doing more than a shift, yes. - Just shift. - Your access to grass number four. - I think I'm just gonna shift, I don't know if I feel comfortable being only three squares away. - Keep moving. - Do you wanna keep moving? - Fine, I'll give Yenward the chance to kill him. - I'm gonna move back here with, I'm gonna move back more space to give four a chance to swing at me. - Yep, number four is gonna get an opportunity attack. D20 plus 10.
- It's worth it. - 26. So he's gonna cut some bacon off your back as you're running. - You better fucking kill him. - I will, it's so worth it. - Wait, I still have a turn, guys. Now I have combat advantage, I don't know what all those Yenward talk is, but. - I think you need to be healing, Brianna, thank you. - Hey, hey, don't worry about me, okay? - Rodswell, your turn. - Resurgent Sun on number four. That is D20 plus 16 plus three. One for being speedy, two for combat advantage. 39, that is a crit, son. - Don't act like I'm gonna use my attack on Rodswell if my monster iron comes out.
- That is a 2D8 plus eight. - You slight me, nigga, I'll kill you. - Game over. - Redguard four is dead. - Okay, also, with Resurgent Sun, that means that Brianna can use a healing surge. - Brianna chooses to do so. - Hold my dick, Rodswell. - I'm getting the fuck out of there. - All right. - Do like a magical turn. - Action jump when like the explosion comes off. - You are like, I'm gonna use a basic attack against Rodswell. - No! - Not like this. - It kinda really was him. - It won't hurt that much. - No, because then I'm gonna, then you're an enemy, that means I can start doing shit, so no.
- Pass. - Never second, second flight. - I'm in the middle of like another flight. - You are such a bitch, Rodswell. - Dude, you passed. - You just fucking cheesed me up there, man. You're all like, "Hey, I wanna do it, I wanna do it." Everyone forgot about me, motherfucker. - I stayed. - I thought you two were friends, you were running away together earlier. What's going on here? - I'm gonna hit him on the news paper right now and shove him in his face. - You found the one thing that pisses the camera off, you stole a kill. - You play your fucking role, healer.
- I did! (laughing) - You took somebody out too, you could've moved up and smacked somebody, that ain't my fault, fucking minotaur. - Oh my god. - Racism is killing me. - Yen, what would you like to do? - I'm dying, huh? What I was gonna do is go on. - Cleared with my role. - All right. - Redguard number three is going to-- - I'm scratching behind this ear, trying to make him feel better. (laughing) - Redguard number three-- - Knocked with one of my horns, kinda hard. (laughing) - Three stooges over here, sorry, go ahead. Redguard number three. - He is going to use the scimitar against Brianna. 15, that'll miss.
Malkus, we're back to you. - Okay. - You're not gonna like it. - I'm gonna also steal Yenward's kill. (laughing) - Malkus looks at Brianna and says, "Do it, I can take it," and steps in. - Oh god, okay. - Jeez. - Gotta showboat. - He's gonna die anyway. - He's gonna do armor of Winter's Grasp, which is an area burst one, and so it'll catch those three. - Okay, nice. - Speedy decision-making bonus. - Sure. - Okay, D20 plus 14 versus Fortitude, go whatever order you like, so three dudes. - Captain. All right, so miss, miss, hit. So you're hitting three. - Miss targets take half damage.
- Okay. - And the hit target is full damage and slowed save ends. - Okay, all right, so Redguard number three is taking 18 damage, everyone else is taking nine. And my AC and Fortitude go up by two till the end of the encounter. - All righty. - Wait, wait, wait, let's see. Oh man, nobody hit me while I got Iron Aspect up. Do I have another miner that I can pop off? No, I don't, I'm done. - Ironhide, your turn. - I'm gonna use, first I'm gonna motion over to here. Then I'm gonna have to use, let's see, how about Crayon Flame Blade? - Okay, against the captain?
- Yeah, I'm gonna make it happen with the captain. Am I right? Okay, cool. All right, I'm a joke. - He's gonna Crunchatize him. - Yeah, I have a, 26, that's a crit. - 26 will, that is not a crit, that's 12. - It's almost a crit. - Yeah, it's a hit, you did hit the captain. - It's a crit, everybody, you heard it. - You know you've confused the shit out of listeners with that, right? - I'm supposed to. I'm the Beyblued. - It's his job. - How about 14? - 14, that's good damage, that's tasty damage. Now don't you also hit someone behind him? - I hit people adjacent around him, so that's two, five, and three.
- No shit. - Yeah, I know, it's fucked up. - Not bad. - I never read the fine print for Green Flame Blade. - I did. - Fire damage equal to your strength modifier all enemies adjacent to the target. What's your strength modifier? - It would have to be, if I have to, it's three. - So we got it. You moved to get there, correct? - Yeah. - Okay, it's Brianna's turn. - Nice. They're both gonna die right here, and then the fight was nothing. - They meant everything. - Brianna's gonna use something called Psionic Quake. - Is it against fortitude? - It's just, hold on a sec, we'll get there.
A lot of her attacks actually are against fortitude. She's going to plant both hands firmly in the ground while kneeling down, and you see this concussive force, this huge output of energy blast the ground. So this is a burst three out in every direction. And this is just creatures, so it's everything in the blast. So what we're gonna do is, this is a D20 plus 13. This is gonna be versus fortitude. - Oh, I can take that. - Okay. And we're going right down the line. We'll start with Ironhide. 28 versus fortitude. - Yeah, that hits. - Captain, 22 versus his fortitude, that'll hit.
Malkus 33, that's a crit. - Oh, fuck! - Oh, the temple didn't work. - I hate it. - Yeah, I can take it. Oh, it's the worst move. I made the worst move. - It gets a ship rocked, you brave little dumb ass. - There you go, you got your moment. - I did, I did. No, Malkus is using the purifying power of pain to find forgiveness for what he did earlier. - Guard, shit. Guard number three, 14, that'll miss him. That's a crit miss. - Move, Breanna. - I wanna kill Smalkus. - Why you fuck? - Wait till you hear the damage. That's gonna miss, and then-- - Crit. - That's another crit for, so, okay.
Ironhide, Captain-- - 16 plus 35. - Jesus Christ. Ironhide, Captain, Malkus, and number two. Malkus and number two are gonna take max damage. Okay, this is 4d8 plus 10, but she's adding plus 10 because of the charge from the last turn. - Nice. - Good luck, bud. - I go down, I go down on that. - So I'm first, right? - No, well that's, okay. What we're gonna do is, let's see here. - Oh no. - I'd like to give everyone over here a knowing look of I'm glad we're over here. - Wild game, ear scratched. - I bumped this with the Edward Blake, sorry. - Malkus just took 52 damage.
- He's out. - Not yet. - Okay. - Malkus is down. The other card, so what happens is this rocks, rocks the area, like the ground is split and just jagged rocks, just the force of it alone is enough to knock people prone if they're hit. And just the, this is just a huge concussive force. And Redguard two is dead, completely dead. The earth swallows him whole. And Malkus and the guard captain are going to take 36 damage. - Who, Malkus? - I'm sorry, Ironhide is gonna take 36 damage. And the guard captain is dead. - Oh, we got the captain, that's good. - Okay, is that thing gonna spill out of his chest again?
Well, give it, okay. Immediately after, immediately after Brianna catches her breath and sees that Malkus goes down, she is gonna take her movement action and run towards Malkus. And both guard five and three are gonna get an opportunity attack. - Oh, great. - She completely loses her shit and cries out Malkus's name and just runs towards him, completely forgetting herself. - This wasn't meant to be a relationship complicating action. - Guard three, 27. - Oh, great, this is gonna be good. We're gonna lose all three of these guys over there. - Guard five, 24.
Nine and 16 damage. Okay, hold on a second. - 25. - That's just enough to take Brianna down. - Nice. - As she runs towards Malkus, she gets cut down and she is knocked unconscious. - Oh, now we're like lying there, both bleeding out together, reaching toward one another. It's terrible. - I'm gonna, with my minor action, I'm gonna jump up and down on Brianna's chest. (laughing) What's all this red stuff? - People are filled with jam. - Sticky. - Red guard number five is hovering over Brianna's body and he is going to lift up his scimitar and plunge it down on top of her.
- Hey Jason. - Yes. - Before we move on, Justin brought up a good point. Did the thing pop out of the guard captain? - Oh, you are absolutely correct, yes. Justin, okay, let's see. Ironhide's the only one close enough to make an athletics check to grab for it. - Athletic? - Mm-hmm. Yes, athletics. - Fuck yes. - I crit 19. - That will just miss. - He was fast. - He gets a plus one. - That doesn't count for checks, I'm afraid. - He was fast. - Not fast enough apparently 'cause he misses the goddamn carry. - It's like it was like a 40 or something. It was fucking rigged from the beginning.
(laughing) - It's a fucking carnival game. - We'll never catch it. - The house always wins. Well, I said he just missed. You can infer from that what you like. - Now, let's just fuck. (laughing) This game's rigged, I quit. - We're gonna lose two major characters and we're mad about the little thing that we-- - Bottles are glued together. - So the carrier pigeon, so the crown is just wrecked over here and from this carrier pigeon kind of erupts from the guard's chest and Ironhide reaches for it but isn't quite able to catch it. Red guard number five lifts the scimitar up over Brianna and then plunges it down and gets a 20 which is enough to hit her.
Wait, 13 damage. - Doesn't 15 kill? I'm just curious. - Negative 30 would kill her. - Negative 30, okay, negative 30. - Yeah, they're trying to execute her. These guys aren't playing around. - Oh, if he started his turn, he takes five damage by the way, if that's five. - Awesome, yes, that's five. - Yep. - Always bleeding, yes. - Yeah, Draconis, your turn. - All right, well, I'm gonna have to get close now. I got speed six, one, two, three, four, five, six. I'm gonna get up in this and I am going to use, I haven't, well, no, wait. Yes, I'm gonna use, oh, I actually don't wanna use that.
That's every creature. Here it is, all right, Fire Shroud. Close action, burst three. And it's each enemy in the burst. - Okay. - It's towards fortitude. Plus 20. - Oh, shit, I should mention, everyone who was hit by that is prone. So five had to stand up to attack, but yeah, you get the idea, go ahead, sorry. - Okay, no, you're good. Sorry, that's four, five, that's for five. - Okay. - And this is for three, 28. - 28 will hit three. That's gonna miss five though, so. - There's AOEs on the table. - Here's damage 12. - 12. - The AOEs take damage fuel, Justin. - Is that still in play?
- Yeah, it is, yeah. - Yeah, okay, it's the end of encounter, that's right. Okay, oh yeah, okay, I'm sorry. You wanna do anything else? - Uh, if I do an action point, can I move and then do another move or no? Like move and do another attack or is that not allowed? - No, you only get one. (sighs) Everybody gets one. - Oh no. - All my other attacks will hit people. - I quit. (laughs) - Okay, good, good. - Hit burst, hit burst, hit intent. Wait, you know what? No, I can do another one. I'm gonna do action point and I'm gonna do scorching burst. - Oh wait, you have no action point, you used it already.
- Oh, that's a daily thing? - Yeah. - Oh, you know what, you're right. I kinda fucked that up, okay. - That's okay, it's okay. - All right, then that means I'm done. - That means I'm done. - I looked just like that guy earlier though. - Oh. (laughs) - I did. - Totally looked like that dude. - Thoril, your turn. - I'm gonna run back up here to five. - Kiss him. - Pull off a melee basic attack. I'm guessing considering Malkus is down, I don't get any combat advantage. - Well, he's not dead, he's just-- - Well, I'm not providing flanking, it's what he's getting at.
- Right, no. - Okay. - He's not being much of a team player. 24 will hit. - All right. - Nice. - Eight and 12, lot of clicking. - 17 damage. - 17 damage, bam. - Right, I'm guessing he's not done, so. - Not yet. - Off hand, 26. - 26 will hit. - Nice. - 2D6 and 12, big money, no whammies, 20 damage. - Hey, guess what? - Dead. - Nice. - Not dead. - So, you just bury your axis right in his back as he's still hovering over Brianna. Would you like to do anything else? - I don't really know of anything I could do that would be helpful right now, so I'm good. - Okay, Rotswell, your turn.
- All right. - You're a killer. - I like to smack him on the back of the head while he walks past me. (laughing) Okay, I'm up here now. I'm going to use Syrian brand on three, is that three? - Yep, okay. - That's the only one left. - 29. - 29 will hit. - Okay, that is 1D8 plus eight. Damn, every time I go for the eight, it holds up. Six, eight, 1D8 plus eight, 15 damage. - Yep. - Okay, he's blinded until the end of my next turn. - Shit, okay, nice. - I'm also going to use healing word as minor action on Malchus. - Okay. - Thank you. - No problem, that is 2D6. Additional hit points as well, so let me pull that up here.
Six, so you're healing surge plus six. That'll bring him up to 22. Anything else you want to do, sir? - No, that's it. - Okay, Yennward, your turn. - Okay, I'm going to saunce around over to five here. - Three. - And I'm going to use D20 plus 17 against AC. - You, yeah, you got him. - Okay. - See reaping strike? - Yep, 2D10 plus eight. - Finish him. - 23. - 23 damage, boom, okay. Anything else? He's bloodied. - I smack Rod's foot on the back of the head again. - Okay. - I just look sad, I give him a pouty face. - Redguard number three. Redguard number three is blind and he's kind of feeling out and he feels a body at his feet and he's going to raise his scimitar up a hud.
- No. - This is not acceptable. - And it is- - Wait, he has 22 health. - Don't worry, take it. - Talking about Bree. - Brianna this time, yeah. They're both prone. - I thought Malkus was out. - Well, he was and he just got healed. You got to keep up. - It's up to the dice who he hits. - No, it's totally like he's, yeah. So he's going to swing at Bree. Now he gets a negative five penalty because he's blind. So that's pretty awesome. - It's good. - And it hits and she's dead. - Nine. - Totally misses. Malkus, your turn. - You call it the UT crit. - And I'm all out of damage.
- Use those on your teammates. - Cause that's how he rolls. - I will, I will stand and sole eater this dude. Well, wait, no, I think I, I think I've gotten multiple uses of blazing doom with the void now because of levels. They can use it a second time. - So kill three and root. - Let's do that thing. 22 versus four on that dude. - 22 will hit. - Yeah. - 2D 12 plus 14, 28 damage. - Done. - 28 will kill him. - Good man. - And then for the second time today, I lean over a body and pound the chest and shout. - Oh, you're going to pound your own chest. Oh, that's what I did.
- You guys are out of combat. Brianna, you guys are, well, for those of you who can't see it at home, if you're listening to the recording, the party is encircled around a knocked unconscious Brianna. But you're all a little worse for the wear, especially the people who chose to stay within the blast zone. - I'm okay. - I can take it. - Yep. - Just looks at Rod's role and says, can you heal her? - Me? Yeah. He'll check. Boom. Done. - For a minute I thought you were going to just like sit there and wait and I was gonna have to be like, will you? - Oh, I can't.
Sure can. But fuck her. - She's going to expend. So she comes to, and she's going to expend that. It's going to reduce her to two healing surges. So she, she comes to, and she's looking at Malchus right in the eye and she's completely drained and out of breath. And she's just leaning over and says, when I say get out, I mean, get out. And Malchus is sitting there exhausted too. And he says, I take great comfort right now that you're too exhausted to punch me. - Cause you would go flying. - I want to say something at this point. - Sure. - You realize this sneak attack now means nothing.
They know exactly where we are and what we're going to be doing. - They attacked me and we had no choice. It's not like we could have. - No, I'm talking about that thing that popped out of, popped out of that guy's chest, the captain's chest. Since you so selfishly wanted to get the last few blows on these guys, now they have an opportunity of knowing exactly where we are and to send reinforcements to that spot. - Who are you talking to? - Her, Breanna. - I thought we were going to help the elves. - Breanna stands up. - Oh shit. - And walks up to Ironhide and says, firstly, I was being surrounded and beaten by these war forage while you stood there.
Secondly, it doesn't matter. We can still beat the reinforcements there. As long as we clear out the initial war forage, we can reinforce the area and fend them off. - Firstly, I was swinging. Every second I was up here, I was swinging. You jumped up in the center. Why would you jump up there with me knowing that they were going to surround you? - I can take out 10 times more war forage than you. - And you didn't. You fell. Your emotions got the best of you once more. - Ironhide. Hold back. - Okay. - She did kill just as many as you did, so. - So her hands are doing the glowing thing again.
- Shit. - And she seems to kind of like look down, take a deep breath. I don't have time for this. And she starts walking away. She starts walking further down the path. - Okay, first I want to stop her. - Oh my God. - What? - I actually need some fucking therapy or something here. - Okay, I want to stop. - All throughout this scene, just imagine Malkus continuing to like lift a finger and open his mouth and then just put it down and close his mouth and then do it again and then stop. - I want to stop her and say, listen. - How do you stop her? - I'm going to put up my hands.
So like right before she's able to walk, I guess through Draconis, just keep walking until she knocks him down. (laughing) - Okay. - I'll advise that. - I'll advise that. - I'm going to stop her with my hands in a non-aggressive form. - Okay. - That I'm so known for doing. And I'm going to say, listen, is there a way that you could just point us in the right direction? It seems that you're very emotional right now and maybe you would serve better by going back to the cave and resting. - Okay, I'm getting up in this. - I'm saying this in aggressive form. - I understand.
- I'm saying that like you're a woman, sir. Maybe you should go back and make something for everyone. - Okay, well, that's how she's taking it. So that's the second you suggest she goes back. The second you suggest that she goes back to the cave while you go on, she's looking at you with an expression that's a cross between shock and disbelief and just who the fuck do you think you are? That kind of, just that kind of look. - Okay, I get up in this and I look at Ironhide and I'm like, Ironhide, she's an asset. And she knows way more about this stuff than we do, okay?
You're being protective right now and I understand that. And I feel what you're doing. But let's let her help us. She's not the little girl that we saved one time. Now she's here to help us. And we need to let her do so if that's what she chooses. She knows way more about this than we do. And she's taken command so far and gotten us to a pretty decent spot. And I think we should keep going. - Malchus finally stands up and says what he said. - All I'm saying, all I'm saying is that it seemed as, her emotions got ahead of her and got her into some pretty deep trouble.
- Well, are all apparently- - Hold on, hold on. With that last sentence, she's going to outstretch her arm and kind of slap her palm against Ironhide's chest. And you can feel vibrations like running through her arm. And she says, mention my emotions one more time. - I'll go to Ironhide before he can say anything. - Yeah, we're done here. - Ironhide, speaking of emotions, I believe your emotions got the better of you earlier and many times in the past, we've all had our moments. Let's let this slide and move forward. - I'm looking at the best, not only for the party, but also for her.
- I understand that, but if she wants to help us, we need all the help we can get right now. She's very powerful. - All right, at this point, I'm going to look right past her, right over to a man, all right? Somebody that can actually deal with this stress. - Jesus Christ. - No, I'm going to look right, I'm going to look past her, look right over at Malchus and say, she's your responsibility at this point. - Oh God. - Control your woman. - I'm going to say it. - Get your bitch. - Malchus, Malchus looks between Ironhide and Bree a couple of times and he just, then he looks at Bree and he goes, you know I don't think you're my responsibility, right?
You know, I, you're, it's all yours. - She does not break eye contact with Ironhide. She says, deal with your robot. - She calls you a- - We broke her initiative, once more. - No. - That's our- - Eight points of health, God damn it. - Yeah, you're sitting there at eight points yelling at her. - Okay, Roswell steps up and says, if you're going to start this right now, you're probably going to end up taking all of us on Ironhide. So why don't we get through this battle and deal with the back of the cave? - Yeah, like the elves kind of need help guys. We need to get the fuck out of here.
- I don't see anybody taking your side on this right now. - Okay, as soon as Draconis mentions the elves again, she, she just kind of just puts her hand down and starts to break away again. And the entire time she's looking down at like, Ironhide's hands like, are you going to stop me again? And then she slowly moves. She starts moving away from the party. And if he doesn't stop her again, she's going to break out into a jog and keep going. - She touched my tail, that's inappropriate. (laughing) - Moving on, you guys are forging ahead. You're not far from where you need to be now.
(dramatic music) What I'm going to do is load up the next map. You guys want to place your characters right in there. Right here, now what's happening is, stumbling out of the thick woods here, you've reached what Brianna believes to be the center of this whole clear cutting operation. So what the Warforged have been doing is clearing out this land, just buzz-sawing straight through it. And they need a very specific tool to do that. - Of course they do. - So your boss fight for tonight, gentlemen. - I don't want it. - Nice. - Oh mercy. Good thing we have all our dailies.
- Is it true? - Oh, that thing. - Great. - Too late for me to pop some healing serves? - Oh, I kind of forgot about that. - Oh, is there two of them? Is that what that means? - Oh, there's three. - Wait, can we end? - Oh wait, oh, three Titans. - Three of them, you're shitting me. - Let's crew on this. - We'll just go take a nap. - We'll take a nap. - Sleep, get our dailies back. - No, fuck this. - For those of you watching the stream live right now, just go to YouTube and look up the Final Fantasy VII boss fight music and just play that in the background while we fight this.
- You mean while we die to this, 'cause no way we can take three of these things. - We almost died just on one. - Rod Swellits, cheese it. - Okay, let's roll for initiative. - Hold on. - Jason's friggin' sadistic. - Can they see us? - Of course. - Can the Titans see, well, okay, firstly, do you wanna, let's assume that Thoril had the wherewithal to heal up before walking into this. - Yeah, persons with healing surges, use them. - Yeah. - Okay, I'll do that. - Uh, you're wandering into this thicket and they do not see you yet. - Okay, so like, so I know this is elevated, so.
- Yes. Dan just asked a very important question, do they see you? And the answer is not yet, no. - Can we leave? - Yeah. - I've got an idea. - Can you place Brianna, by the way? - Ooh, yes. - And the elves. We came here to save the elves, where the fuck are the elves? - Need some backup. - I got an idea. - Okay. - Uh, Draconis, do you have that Whisper in the Wind thing? - Yes, I do. - You should play it like far to the north of the forest. So it could possibly grab one and two of those Titan bots. - Well, there's a range. I believe it's a range 10. - Uh, it is a range 10.
- Shit. - Well. - Okay, are they sentient? - The Titans, yes, absolutely. - So they're not like, they're not just like machines, like they have minds for their own. - Well, they have a task. They know what their job is, but I mean, they can think for themselves, yeah. - My initial thought was if there was any way that we could possibly turn, you know. - What, turn them on each other? - Something. - Aids a thought. - So as you guys charge into this place, and you're figuring that there'll be maybe a pack of war forges, and you can clear them out and then take the area.
This is a perfect opportunity to take an area that not only the war forges want, but it could be easily defendable once you kind of garrison it. Unfortunately, it's flooded with Titans, as you can see, and they are extremely difficult to take out. And as soon as you walk in, Brianna just kind of like marches over to this elevated rock and she motions for everyone to follow her. And you can. - All right. - You can see she's thinking it over, like she's very much, she's debating it, but it looks like she's gonna go through with this one way or the other.
- So I'm looking at Brianna, what's the plan? What are we doing? - I really didn't think there'd be this many Titans here, maybe one. - Dumb woman. - Do you say that? - No. - Okay. - That's not how I like it. - Clearly a plurality of Titans in this clearing. - I, I, I. - The attacks already underway that we may not get another chance like this again. - Can we draw one of them? Maybe take one of them out over here. - Can't see where here is. - Well, I'm talking to her like here, where we are. - Oh, oh, okay. I'm sorry. I thought you were pointing. - No. You know, I'm just trying to figure this out.
Like actually I'm talking to the whole party right now. Ironhide had a great idea about using his whisper, but we can't get them to go away. However, could we draw the draw, just like one of them closer. So maybe we can take one out away from the hurt. - She kind of peaks over the rock and sees the guard captain standing in the middle of this field. And for those of you who can't see it at home, there is a large clearing surrounded by forest on all sides. And there are three Titans positioned around this field, but they're, they're towards the edges of this forest, just slashing and cutting.
So that the, the captain in the center is clearly kind of in charge of the area. And she says, I, I think I can nail him from here. - If we do it from far away like this, we hit them with everything we got simultaneously. - Can I say something about the character? - Sure. - Her power is obviously magnified by emotion, right? - Yes, yes it is. - Oh no. - Okay, all right. I'm thinking of utilizing this. - He's gonna like get her worked up and shit. - Hope he doesn't blow my fucking head off and then we'll worry about it and then we all die anyway. - Do you guys think if we take out this captain guy, do you think that would kind of help us out?
Like we wouldn't have to fight these Titan things or what? - It will at least destroy leadership. - All right. The captain offers buffs for people, like the captain itself, if you haven't noticed, he has the ability to heal and garner buffs for his crew. He isn't really a powerhouse or anything, but that's why the carrier pigeons on him. He kind of stays back. Like he's not really, he's their Rodswell. - Gotcha. - Okay. - Sophia from the chat wanted to remind us that love is another powerful emotion. (laughing) - Yeah, not for Ironhide. (laughing) What would it be if I tried to talk to her if I was using a skill, like not intimidate, it wouldn't be bluff.
- Bluff? - Diplomacy? - Well, what are you trying to say? - I'm trying to work her up, so. - That's more intimidate than anything. - Well, no, but he could be bluffing about it. Like he's saying, if he doesn't mean it, then he's-- - Okay, is it something that you're just saying to get under his skin? - Okay, yeah, yeah, I'm just gonna say it because I can't speak. The skills don't allow me to speak good. (laughing) It's like threes and fours, it's hard to intimidate because I'm a giant robot who eats children's fingers. It's a seven. Okay, I'm going to say, like whisper into her ear, when the fighting actually starts, make sure you stay out of the way.
(laughing) - Okay, and Ironhide would be adjacent. Okay, here's what's gonna happen. - Yeah, I'm inching back there. - Everyone roll initiative. - Could've just left. - Could've tried the, you know, sneak attack or something. - Nope. - What, sneak attack? They have every corner mapped out. - It's actually a 12, not 13. - I'm just ready for something dumber than the blue incident to happen in the party so I can hide my shame. (laughing) - Everybody does cartwheels. Ha ha, didn't expect this, did you? (laughing) - Cartwheels. - What, yes. - 17 for Yenward. - Woo.
- What did Malkus get? 14. And 23. Okay, now I'm going to add, I'm gonna add these guys to the initiative tracker. - This sucks. (laughing) - I'm the best. What's gonna happen here, excuse me. Brianna is going to go first because she's going to lean up and kind of put both palms outstretched facing the Warforged captain, the Redguard captain. And she's going to use force blast and that is versus reflex, that'll hit. Oh yeah. - Kill instant, surprise. - So that will hit and uh, because of her emotional state, I'm going to add one extra D8. So that's 48 plus 12. 27.
So 27 to the guard captain. I'm sorry, that was against fortitude, you were right. All of her shit is against fortitude. - That's good because I'm going to let everybody in a little secret, Warforged don't really have good fortitude. - He is prone. - Oh shit, what happened? - So she leans up and just blasts the shit out of this guy. And then she ducks back down behind the rock and kind of stares daggers at Ironhide. Hearing this commotion, Titan number two is going to start marching towards you guys. - Shit, I should have moved. - He doesn't see us yet. - Yeah, he might not know where I came from.
- Yeah, exactly. - Throw your voice, quick. - Game time. - He's going to spend another, his action to move up. - Throw it over where three is. - Too close. - Oh, fuck. - Why you left? This ain't cool. - I'm sorry, like the way you said, oh fuck. Like a giant mech just walked into your living room and was like, hey. - I can get one shot at by these guys. - I know, everybody can dude. I'm not faring too well with that. - Oh, well, I guess three's coming too. - Triconus, your turn. Wait your turn. - Three. - Oh, so this is what I'm going to do. I'm going to do my, oh, oh man.
All right, I'm going to have to move. I'm going to have to move first. Here we go. I'm going to move to the very edge of the map. One, two, three, four. - Are you sure? Cause he gets, he gets a. - Oh, he attacks. Okay, so you know what? That's good call. I'm going to die here. - I didn't take my hand off. It didn't count. - You can't die. - I'm going to take you for another full turn. So yeah. - Yeah, but he's got his back. - Yeah. Okay. - I'll step in the way. Just back up one and up. - What? You want me to, you want to go with that? - Yeah, just head. Where's my fingers?
- All right, I can shift. I can shift right there. - Yeah. I'm the defender. I'll haul ass up there. - Look at you. All right, here we go. Flaming sphere. Flaming sphere. - This old chestnut. - That's right. - Okay. - I know what it does. - Okay. - Almost. - This is unfair, Jason. - I didn't, hey. - Yeah, I gotta do something here. We got three of these guys. - Okay. - Where are you, where are you, where are you summoning this? - Right here. - Did anybody else know that, just knew that we were going to run into these things again? - I had a feeling. I figured eventually, not now, but.
- I didn't think three of them, but you know. - Okay. - It's a login camp. It makes sense. - When it, when it comes in immediately, it attacks for 20 plus 12. This is the reflex. - Okay. - And 31. - That will hit. - Good deal. And this is 2D six plus seven. - I would say that's almost a crit, but there's. - Oh, cool. That did a lot of damage there. - Let's see here. 10, okay. So awesome. - Okay, now I can move it whenever I, like I can move it for my action, my moving action points or whatever, or my movements. - Right. - And anytime somebody starts next to it, they take damage.
- Okay. - Okay. - Cool. - And that's, yeah, this one's a little more simple than the magma beast. - Well, it was when you had both of them on the field at the same time. - Yeah, that was. - That was craziness. - Wait, the one next to you. - The n-word? - Okay. - Do you want it, do you three, Rodswell, Thoril and the n-word, do you guys want to try to group up on three? Or is that too much? I'm saying, 'cause like, I know the other one's gonna come. The other Titan's gonna come at you and the captain. - Here's the thing. I can probably get one of these away from us.
Like if I wanted to, I could probably get two, I could push two back, so we don't have to deal with them until the next round, not the next one, but the one after that. Or I could push three back to where we don't have to deal with them for another round. So if you guys want to focus on two, I can go after three and try to push him back. - Are you adding new tiles? - I'm giving you an idea of what the surrounding, I didn't think you were gonna fight right on the cusp there. So it's, yeah, so back down here is the path in which you came in and the rest is pretty much surrounded by forest.
- Yeah, we might want to stay here. If we venture out any farther by pushing two back and attacking them, then we might not have a chance to fall back. 'Cause it might- - I'm gonna do this out of character real quick. Can we discuss strategy? Is that all right? - Yeah, but remember the time constraint. - Yeah, we don't have much time. - Okay, so my whole idea is right now is that I can push him back and get him prone most likely if I use my heroic effort. So if you guys want to focus on two, when it comes up to my turn, I'll try to take three, push him back, and then if he gets prone, that means that he'd have to take a move action and another action to get back where he is.
So then we might have to deal with one and three by the next turn, but that'll at least give us time to focus on two for now and make sure that we are healthy. - Well, it's my turn now and I have an attack that can make him prone too. - But can you move him back as full? 'Cause I can move him back as full move action and get him prone. - I'd move him back a square. - Okay, why don't you do that to two and I'll take on three. - Yeah, we need to keep all the damage on two so that we drop, like a dead enemy is no more damage. - Right, so you do that to two and I'll take on three.
- Okay, so I'm going to use full charge on number two. - Oh shit. - No way. - Which is a D20 plus 17 versus AC, I think. - And what path you taking there to get to him? You can run through teammates, like you're, just picture them like seeing you come, like running head tilted is like, oh shit, and they just move out of the way. - And C20 plus 17, boom, 30. - 30 will hit. - Nice, and my damage is 4D10 plus nine. About to get this work, boom, 38. - 38 damage and he is not prone. - He's also knocked back a square. - Oh shit. - Spear, spear, spear. - Good job. - Boom, so you hit him like dead center in the chest, just the meatiest, and he falls backwards, falls prone.
Let's see here, adjust conditions, prone, and he's going to go ahead and take 38 damage. And if I'm not mistaken, bloody. - Whoa, shy slack. - Holy shit. - You guys, we've grown since we last fought these things. - Yeah, but there's three. - Oh no, no, no, I'm not, I'm just saying it. - I'm not worried. - That took so long. - Hashtag Stormrunner. - Yeah. - Well, yeah, that's, yeah. - Hashtag Yenwards big head. - Brianna's turn, she is going to use charge. D20, 15, okay. So she's just standing there, just gathering her shit. And not charged like, doesn't charge an enemy.
- I'm charging it guys. - Yeah, the psionic charge. Jarek, your turn. - All right, I'm gonna use my psionic charge. That's cool. I'm gonna mosey on up to him, and I'm going to use Echoes of Sword magic. - Okay. - That is against fortitude. 19. - 19, you're gonna have plus two, 'cause he's prone, that's, what is that against? - It's against fortitude. - That's a miss him. - That's a miss him? - That's a miss him. - Okay, well, a Geass of Assault. - Okay. - That's upon his fort. - Okay. And Redguard captain is gonna stand up. - What the shit? - And he is going to charge in and climb up on this rock.
- Oh. - Uh, let's see here. - You're not even a real captain. - You're like the worst captain in these woods. - You're awful. - Actually, you know what? That's gonna be it. - It's for now. - It's what we thought. - Malchus, your turn. - Okay, I'm gonna mosey up side by side with Ironhide, my brother in arms, worked out the feelings. - I'm right here too, good room. (laughs) - And we're gonna do, we're gonna open with Soul Eater and we're gonna go from there. - Well, we'll have action points again. - Yes, oh, that'll happen. 29 versus AC. - That'll hit. - I won't want all the damage on this guy.
Plus 14 indeed. Oh, nice, I maxed damage. - 26. - Oh, that's a kill. - He's still standing? - He's still standing. - Action point. - Well, he's lying down, but you get what I'm saying. Action point. - He's taking it easy. - All right, I've got my two Blazing Doom with the voids back, so let's fire off one of those. - All right. - With a plus two to hit and a plus one from being fast. 21 versus four for two. - That'll miss. - But he's with more four-inch too. - Yeah, what's going on here? - Maybe it's reflexes. - Well, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, no, I won't fire off the aspect yet.
There's only one of them around. I am done. - All righty. Thoril, your turn. Four, five, and I just barely make it up to him. - Which may or may not be a good tactic depending on. - I know what I'm doing. - Okay. - I have an idea of what I'm doing. - Possibly. - Melee basic attack, 27. - Yes, that'll hit. - Right, 28 plus 12. That's 19 damage. - That kills. - Wasn't great, wasn't great. Off hand, 20 plus 15, 16, 25. - Again, Stacy? - Yeah, that'll hit. - 2D6 plus 12. - Always higher by design or is that just how it works out? - That's just how it works out. - That's ridiculous.
- That is ridiculous. - 28 damage. - You know what? 20 damage will kill it. - Sweet. - Yes. - Okay. - So like a loot. - Not the time. - Fellas, new tactic here. Do you want me instead, do you want me to push back the guard captain? And that way we can focus on three. If I push him back, then he can't buff anybody. - Yeah, keep him from buffing out. - Okay. - I like it. - Okay, cool. Then I'm going to use dark speech on the guard captain. - He's within hearing range, right? Even though he's up high? - Yeah, it's not that high. It's just, it's like a five foot high rock.
Like he's the, yeah, he's right there. - So I yell, get back foul beast. That's a 20 against fortitude. - That'll hit fortitude. - Reflex? - That'll hit reflex. - Will? - No. - Okay, so didn't hit his will? - No. - Damn. - Okay, well he's prone. - Okay. - And he grants combat advantage till his next turn. - Okay. Cool, cool, cool. - So wait, wait, wait, heroic effort. - That'll hit. - Okay, sweet. So pushes him back his speed too. - Oh, he's going to go slam into that tree. - He hits the tree behind him, the large, that large oak tree and just slams. So he's going to take 10 damage based on that.
- And he's prone and he grants combat advantage. - Sweet, now I'm going to use my move action. - Okay. - I'm just going to kind of join up back here with these guys. (laughing) - I'm with these guys. If you want to see me, you have to get to these guys first. Right guys? - I'm the healer, I should be back here. (laughing) Actually, I'll be up there. - You're all done? - Yep, done. - Okay, Titan number one is way in the back, in the rear with the gear. - Go Titans, go. - That's what I'm talking about. - When there's trouble, you know who to call. - I've been waiting this whole time.
(laughing) - And he's going to expend his other action to move forward. Boom, okay. - They're just so scary looking. - They are meant to be, that is by design. (laughing) You want to hear something really scary. Remember how I said this rock is like five feet high and the one, the patrol captain had to like climb up onto it and that was the end of his move action? - Yeah. - The Titan marches towards it and just high steps it and he's on top of the thing. - Cool. Right where I want him to be. - Two, three. - Stand still. - Right here actually, he's going to step down off this thing.
- Kerchunk, kerchunk. - Again. - He is going to use, he's going to spin. - I remember this. - Fuck, this sucks. - Not the last video. - Plenders. - So this is just anybody who's Jason. So this is Brianna and Draconis. - Am I right? - That was actually really smart Dan for moving right there. - Actually he's just. - Got him all that cannon fodder. - Am I not Jason? - I, it doesn't, no. Cause it's, it's anything that's like right there. - Any way you touch him Jason. - But I can't, it's right there right? He's taking up that space. - Well you're right, actually you are Jason.
Yeah, God, I didn't even see. - Throwing yourself under the bus, I like it. - I gotta be honest, right? - He's being honest and I appreciate that. - Dammit. - #honesty. - Yeah. - And you're gonna get your head chopped off. - You earned some Jason respect points Dan. - Hey, you know what? You should give me a pass. - Okay, cool, yeah that sounds cool. - Yeah, on the next one. Not this one, I mean the next one. You'll get some kind of, yeah. - Cut his leg off. - Let's start with Brianna. 24, that'll hit Brianna. 18 AC for, and it'll miss Rodsworth, okay. And Draconis.
- I was hoping that was me. - Oh, 17. - Miss, nice. - Fuck, so Brianna's getting hit. - Yeah, why you mad about that? - That's good. - Good. - Is it good that she's getting hit? - No, it's good that-- - She's usually so good about not getting hurt. - There she is, oh I guess. 18 to Brianna. - That's not so bad. - Hit. Better hurt than me. - Jesus. - Draconis, go ahead. - Well, sweet. I am gonna do Burning Hands. Close, blast five, yes. That's what I'm gonna do. - Promise you. - All right, Burning Hands, and that is basically, it's gonna be like, boom. Right there. - Okay.
- And this is gonna be a, this is towards reflex, D 20 plus, let's melt this bitch. 32. - 32 hit, wait, that's a crit. - That is a crit, that is a crit. - See, this just so happens. - All right. - Shit himself. - Your turn. - Now I don't really know what that means for me. - Well, it means max damage. Yeah. - Automatically? - Yes. - Yeah. - Oh, that's good. - Have you never gotten a crit before? - I have not, that's my first crit I've yet. - That can't be your first crit. - I promise, I promise. - Taking a picture, how do I do that? - Do it. - 21, you did 21 damage.
- Prince, sweet. - And are you done? - Yes, I'm done. - How much damage did you do? - Oh, wait, no, I'm not done, I'm sliding out of the way. I did a 21. - 21 damage. - I'm doing a shift. - Okay. - I think you're still in combat range. He'll reach you. - I might be, yeah. - Don't worry, he's got a reach. They got a vicious reach. - A wicked reach. - Yenward. - I just wanna run away. (laughing) - Yenward, your turn. - Okay, I'm gonna break out my strongest attack for this one. - Aw, shit. - Yeah. - Um, it's called brute strike, D20 plus 17. - Please fuck his mouth. - 32 versus AC.
- You did indeed fuck his mouth. - No, not yet. - Okay, so that's six. - Six D10 plus eight, or plus nine, 'cause I'm fast. - Three, four, five, six. - Aw. - Six. - I hate to be this guy. - Don't be that guy. Two means too late. - You used brute strike earlier. - No, I didn't. - You did, it's checked off. - No, I didn't. - Well, I mean, maybe not in this session, but in a earlier, like it's all been one day. You haven't had a chance to rest. - Yeah, if it was a daily, yeah. - Yeah. - Well, let's just use this roll right here for another strong move. - I'll allow that, because I didn't see, I'll allow you to have like a crack the shell or something like that.
- Okay, I'll use my crack the shell, I guess. God damn it. - I'm sorry, I, the rules are very clear. - Kills just keep getting stolen all day. I get another plus one because that's really inconvenient to me. - Yeah, well, you already hit it. You're fine, like just roll damage. - Yeah, tap that shit, so. - Okay. - Well, I had to readjust the damage for crack the shell 'cause it's two different things. - It's 40, 10 plus eight, you know? It's not as vicious, but it's pretty vicious. 33, come on. - And. - Oh, he gets a bonus since it was identical to his other roll.
- I shouldn't believe that's a thing. - Yeah, I looked, it's in the roll. - Guess what, he's bloody. - And he takes an ongoing five damage and a negative two penalty to AC. - Oh, fucking, oh. - Thank you, Yinward. - Cracked that shit. - Brianna. - Fuck. - Brianna's turn. She's gonna get a plus 10 to damage if she does hit this thing. She is going to, she is adjacent to it. She's gonna lean forward, lean back with her fist and use psionic punch. - Gonna roll that 60, 10 anyway just to see what I would have gotten. - She's gonna do a better barrage. - Wow. - 33. - Nice.
- Thanks to the negative two to the AC and everything too. That's awesome. Jesus. - Not that far off, that's okay. - This is 48 plus 25 because of the bonus. - Oh, shit. - Dead. - Oh my God. Get her off of it. So, wow. Perhaps thanks to Ironhide's pep talk earlier, she plants her fist in this thing. It would be about the groin area really. The thing towers over her. And where the first warforged that got hit, it jettisoned at 30 feet. This barely moves back one space, but the shockwave rips through the thing's body and just destroys it, it caves in on itself.
- Awesome. - So dead. - She's staring at Ironhide as she digs her fist into his groin. - Yeah, I think she's sending you a message. - Great. She's touching it, inappropriate. - And then she climbs up on the rock and it's Ironhide's turn. - Okay. All right. - So you hopped up on the rock with her. - Okay. - Well, I mean, you know. - You don't wanna do anything else? - Well, I'm fucking lucky. - I'm sorry, you're sorry. - Not getting plus one this turn. - Okay. - No, that's true. - I'm gonna hold. Can I hold? - You sure can, you can hold. - Okay, cool. I'm gonna hold. - But you moved.
Well, you don't delay your turn. It's just, that's it. You pass. - Oh, but I-- - 'Cause you moved. - I'll attack her. I'll just swing at her wildly. - Okay. - No, just go. - Again, for the second time in the battle, Red Guard patrol captain gets up. - Wait, so Ironhide really isn't doing anything? He just jumped on that rock. - Yes. - No, he said, wait a second. - Pick one, dude. Tell us about the essence. - I'll use lightning board on asshole. - Okay. - Which one's asshole? - A 20 against, I think, I wanna say it's fortitude. - You should tell me who you're targeting before you-- - It's Captain, prone.
- Okay. Okay, so he is sprawled out in front of this tree and you lasso his foot and just drag him up onto this rock. - Pull his prone body up on the rock. - Yup. - That's awesome. - He hits his head going up the rock. It's terrible. - 12. - 12 damage. I'll give you an extra five 'cause you drug him up on the rock. So that's 17. And he is bloody. And it is his turn. - I'm gonna say, we'll have the war forged on the rocks. - You gotta speak up when you're doing awful puns. - No, it's not. I'd never wanna say that, I'm sorry. (laughing) - He stands up. - The phrase war forged on the rocks is being hashtagged.
- Really? - Ah. - Yes. - That's nice, I like that. - Sounds like a great jazz album. Duke Silver put that out, I think. (laughing) - Jazz records. - You're on the clock. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's gonna use Blunted Mind. That's gonna be a burst three. So Ironhide, Breanna, Rod Swell, and let's see, one, two, three, Yanward. Ollie is gonna get some. - You mean he feels real? - Captain, I don't even care. Look at me. - Ironhide first, 18. This is versus Will. - It hits. - 17 versus Breanna's Will, no go. 29 versus Rod Swell, obviously. 30 versus Yanward. - Nope. - Yes. (laughing) - It hits everybody, right in the mouth.
- So what that's gonna do is 10 damage to everyone except Breanna, and you're all gonna get a negative two. Yeah, you're all gonna, you're all gonna get a negative two to attack rolls and a negative four penalty to damage rolls. Save ends both. - Not even scared, whatever. It's fine. - So that is a substantial penalty. - Shit, that's really good. And that's at the end of our turn, we can do a saving roll, right? - Yes. - All right. So whose turn is it now? - It is Malchus. - Malchus. - I will go one, two, three, four, nope, sorry, four, five, six. And I will, that guy can't reach me from where he is, can he?
- No. - Okay. I will Eldritch Bolt, the big dude. - Okay, so the Titan, you're targeting the Titan, gotcha. - Yes. Speedy actions, so plus one for a plus 14 total. 22 reflex. - Yes. - So that's gonna be 10 plus 14 for damage, 17 damage. - Bam, 17 damage. - That's double checking all for me. - All right, and that'll lead us to Thoril. Okay, I guess I can move up to the patrol captain here. Let's see, one, two, three, four, five, six. Climbing up on the, okay, yeah. - Yeah, yeah, I just kinda went through. - Rodswell. - You've halted over Rodswell. - Climbed over Rodswell, yeah.
- Excuse me. Good old melee basic attack. - Yeah, that is every time you've done that. - I know, I'm dyslexic tonight. - 25. - Red and butter. - Bailey's Irish cream attack. 25, you hit him. - Two, three, four, five, six. - 12, 21 damage. - 21 damage, and we are back around for that offhand. - We're probably at 26. - Oh, hurtin', hurtin', that's a crit. - 2D6 plus 12, that'll be 24 damage. - You cut his head clean fuckin' off. - Woo, my man. - Yes. - The only one left to contend with is the titan, please. - Just because, I can still shift, can't I? - You moved already.
- No, you moved already. - Oh, yes. - I'm dumb, nevermind. Oh, by the way, Jake, you didn't use your miner to sustain the sphere, so that's cool. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's cool. - Rodswell, your turn. - Okay, I'm gonna move up here. Is that a close first five with one? - Let's see here, one, two, yeah. - Oh, was there a carrier pigeon? The chat says, was there a carrier pigeon? - Do you wanna resolve that first? - Yes, let's resolve that first. - Okay, there absolutely was a carrier pigeon. I was gonna wait 'til you were done with this fight, but when the Guard Patrol Captain falls, I like having a chat, they're on the ball.
- This is nice. - Let's see, the three people who can make a try for it are Ironhide, Brianna, and Thor. - I'd really like a try. - All right, athletics or acrobatics? - Athletics. - Two of back foot. - What if they all try to jump up? Can they all try to jump up? - Well, high five. - All of them can try, they're standing right next to her. - Oh, there you go. - 18. - That's no good. - I'll go. - Do it. - Okay. - I think mine's a seven, I'm going to go with a seven. - Oh. - Brianna rolls an 11. (laughing) - 17. - 17. - I can't, damn it. - It escapes. - Malchus. - Malchus can.
- No, Malchus is five feet, no, he's five feet below. - Yeah, he's not near. - He's in the fucking ground. - Where the thing couldn't hit him, he also can't catch the pigeon. - Okay, yeah, we suck at catching those things. - They are alerted the fuck out of your presence. They know some shit's up, so. - We have a net, God damn it. - Game work has that. - You do have a net. You do have a net. That also would have been a nice way to break up the fight in the beginning of the show. - Ha ha, you're right. - Rotswell. - Okay. - The way we did it was way funner though.
- Can I use a minor action as a, like can I use two minor actions as opposed to using a regular action? - Not to my knowledge, no. It's, you get one of each. Or the only time it's exchangeable is when you can either move twice instead of use an action. - Guys, the chat is asking, did we have a net made to help us catch these carrier pigeons? - And it was just mentioned, they forgot. - Oh, okay, I was spacing. Okay, then I'm going to, I'm sorry, I'm gonna use Shield of Faith on all of us. Sorry about that. - I figured. - That's close first five, so it's everybody, basically.
- He's gonna be able to tighten. - You and each ally in the burst, each target gets a plus two power bonus to AC until the end of the encounter. So everybody gets plus two AC. I'm gonna pop an action point, 'cause we got our action points back. - Okay. - I'm gonna use Mark of Victory on one. So it's two dailies. Mark of Victory goes until the end of the encounter, you and your allies gain plus two power bonus and attack rolls and damage rolls, power damage to attack rolls and damage rolls against the target. So we have plus four AC, or we have plus two on attack rolls and power bonus and plus two on our AC.
- They're both miners, you can't use two miners. - I popped an action point, Jason. - Okay, if you pop an action point, I believe you can use a miner. Okay, okay. - Yeah, let's make it happen. Plus two, plus two, plus four AC, got it, cool. - No, you don't get four plus four AC, it's plus two, plus two, plus two. - Oh, plus two, okay, gotcha. - So it's plus two on your attack rolls, plus two on your damage rolls and plus two on your AC. - Cool. - Which will put most of you about even. - Yeah, but I don't have any, oh yeah, so that's-- - No, that's good, that's perfectly good, I'm sorry.
- If you guys use the saving roll to try to do that, which can I use the saving roll as my major? - Well, you get that at the end of your turn anyway. - Okay, do I get two since I popped an action? - No, now you're just pulling shit out of your ass. - No, I'm not, that's too easy. - No, I'm kidding, I'm just going. - It's too little. So, a saving roll, I forget. - Just roll a flat D20 and I'll tell you what happened to you. - That's a two. - That's not good. As you may have guessed, Titan number one, he is going to march up to you guys and climb up to the rock here.
And he's gonna use a little something called Rampage. - Nice. - He's gonna move up to three squares whenever the Titan would enter an enemy space during this movement. That enemy falls prone at the end of the movement, the Titan then makes the following attack. It's a close burst two plus 15 and then, yeah, so. Basically, he's going to run through you guys and knock you prone and then make an attack on top of you. - Cool. - So, one, two, basically, that's all we need to do to hit all of you. - This is AC, right? - This is gonna be versus AC, yes. - We all have plus two AC, just for my good.
- I thought that was rolls against AC that we were handicapped. - That's rolls against their, that's attack rolls and damage rolls. You get a negative two against attack rolls and a negative four against damage rolls until save ends. And that's, yeah, those are just the people we had. - But we still have, like, if we had 24 AC, we had 26 AC now. - Right. - Right, that has nothing to do with your AC. - Cool, all right, go. - Going right down the line with Rodswell, 21. - Nope. - Ironhide, 28. - Missed. - Brianna, 16, that'll miss, that's crit miss. Thoril, 17, that'll miss, and Malkus, 17, that'll miss.
- Wow, ones and twos, shit. So Ironhide's the only one who got struck. All of you, however, are prone. - All right, Yennward, let's get out of here. - Hold hands, slash hold hands. - Okay, so I'm gonna walk over here, I guess. - Wait, Justin has to take. - 25 damage, he's taking 25 damage. - No, I'm sorry. - 24, I think I'm down to. - Yeah, you're down to 24, and Yennward, go ahead. - Okay. - Oh, sorry, Draconis. Draconis, go ahead. - Oh, it's me, okay. - Yeah, my bad. - Yeah, it's good, all right, here's what we're gonna do. Move six, one, two, three, I don't even have to.
I can move right here, all right, and I'm going to do Fire Shroud, which is burst three in each enemy, so it doesn't hit allies. So this is towards fortitude, plus 12, and that's an awesome 17, that's what that is. - And that's gonna miss. - All right, well, I will pop my action point. - Oh, shit, okay. - And I will do my Fire Burst. - Okay. - I'll just do it right here, so it does this area. All right, and this is gonna be the same thing. Boom, 20. - That's also gonna miss. - Okay, well, at least this one does half damage, so. - Okay. - That's good. - And seven, so 10 damage.
- 10 damage, all right, that's very respected. - And that's all I get. That was towards reflex, by the way, I don't know if that changes anything. - It doesn't matter. - Okay, cool. - 20 doesn't hit shit on him. - Cool. - Yen-ward. - Okay, so I'm about to throw my axe, will that hit Thoril? - No, he's late, no. - No, no, no. - Stick it in there. - The Titan's big enough so that that will not, yeah. - Okay. - You're fine. - So down here on my little sheetie sheet where it says my axe, says something about, if I hit a large or larger creature with an attack using this weapon, I deal an extra four damage.
- Ooh, yes you do. - Nice. - Sweet, okay, so I'm gonna roll this, you know, 23. - That's gonna miss. - Is it? Is it really, though? - You do have an action point, I think, hold on a second. - I do. - Okay, you do. - So what can I do with that? - You can take another attack, you also have a move action left, so if you wanna move-- - Can I just try to throw my axe at him again? - You can totally do that if you like. Or you can get close and try and hit him again, it's up to you. - I'm just gonna try to throw it, 'cause it's all the same. - Okay, your axe returns to you.
- 32. - Ooh, 32 will hit, however. - Love it. - Well. - So that's the same as the basic melee type stuff, so. - It's really one of them. - I know, I know, 'cause it is badass. - 2D10 plus 12. - Yep. - 13, 'cause it's fast. - No, that does not count for damage. - Fine. (laughing) - Yeah, plus two. - 27. - Oh yeah, don't you get a buff for your, well, you get a negative for your, let me see. So you get a negative four for your damage, actually. - That means-- - Plus two, so it's negative two. - And plus two, so negative two, so that's 25 damage, yeah. - Okay. - Don't forget to roll your saving throw.
So go ahead and roll your saving throw now. A clap of thunder and like this huge, brilliant flash of lightning hits it when, just before your axe returns to you. So go ahead and roll your, just a flat D20. - 13. - 13, you're fine now. - Yeah. - Brianna is going to stand up and she's gonna use charge. She gets a 13, so that'll give her a plus 10 on her next attack, or the next, plus 10 damage on her next attack if it lands. Ironhide, your turn. - All right, I'm going to stand up for my movement. - Okay. - I'm gonna use me some grain, fine, blank. - Okay. - With a negative two to the attack.
- Attack, yes. - So it hurts then, doesn't it? - 27, 20 foot, yeah, that'll hit. - Feels so good right now. 17. - 17 damage. This last one's giving you guys some trouble. Is, does that kill him? - No. - Gonna pop my action point. - There we go. - Okay. - Finish him off. - Oh, I hope this does, 'cause I have something stupid I want to say. - Oh, please. - 30 against his fortitude. - That'll hit. - Oh, I want to say something stupid. That's 21 damage. - That'll kill it. - Yeah. - All right, since this is dimensional thunder, I'm gonna raise the silver sword right over my head with both hands.
And I'm gonna scream, "By the power of Greyskull!" (imitates gun firing) - This is the kind of hitting your sword. - And everything was okay in the world. - You guys have wrapped up combat. There's nothing left in this wooded area here. Time constraints being what they are, I think that's a good time for us to knock off for the night, guys. And we'll kind of clean things up the next time we get a session in. - I'm curious, what did everybody in the chat think? Like, now I can actually-- - I hate to say it, but with my assistance, the chat devolved into creating a Japanese dating sim based on our Dungeons & Dragons characters.
- I heard you typing the shit out of stuff. - I'm sorry, my mic was way too close, wasn't it? - No, it wasn't, actually. I can already hear somebody, like, typing vaguely. - Yeah, it just sounded like we were in a call center. - It didn't actually sound like (imitates gun firing) - No, no, no, it was just (imitates gun firing) It's like, oh, someone's doing homework. - So does that mean, is Brianna Jason's waifu? Or is that-- (laughing) - Oh, she's right there. - There was curiosity about whether or not Malchus and Brie would end up in a relationship, and then all of a sudden it turned into like, ah, I should invite Brianna to the Summer Fireworks Festival.
- Oh, his nose is bleeding, his nose is bleeding! - Ah! - How many carrier prisons have you guys missed? That's three. - All three. - We caught the-- - We caught the one that we-- (laughing) - Caught the real bitches. (laughing) - Yeah, you caught the actual, yeah, you caught one of the white ravens. That was-- - Well, he was a stupid one. He ran right past us. - You guys-- - Snap! - That was the thing though, you guys threw the net, which is what it's designed to do, is catch those fucking birds. - When the real one came out, we didn't throw the fucking net.
- Well, he couldn't, he was too far away. - Yeah, but-- - Turned into our white whale, you guys. - At this point though, they already know. They know what's up, like, they know. - I'd have to catch both of them in order for that to be, like, our group is so fucked right now. - How? We just destroyed-- - I'm saying, unless we take a nap, a nappy poo, like-- - Tyler needs a date, Sophia. - Wait, wait, what? What's going on? (laughing) - Without taking naps and shit like that, like, Malchus is out, I don't know how many healing strategies he has, but I imagine it's not much, and, huh.
- It's zero. - I have none either. Like, I mean-- - I used the last daily I have. - Yeah, but maybe we'll have time to, uh, rest up. - I have magnum's, magnum's. Let's deal with you guys. - There you go, so-- - Let me break this down. You guys have not had a rest since you killed Draak. Think about it, you have not had a rest. Your entire existence has been, you've come back, you've pinballed between Winterhaven, the forest, and the White Ravens, you've gotten into constant arguments and infighting with each other, and you guys haven't slept. - Yes we have, we slept with the night we got back, because I slept down by Duncan's tomb, remember?
- But I mean, I don't mean literally, I mean since you've gotten back technically to-- - Civilization. - Yeah, you guys really haven't rested or done anything beyond the mission, and that's, this is the first time you guys are out of healing surges, it's catching up with you. So that's interesting to see. - I think this is the worst we've ever been. - Yeah, but in our defense, we walked ourselves to that, with what we did in the first battle. - We're kinda dragged. - I don't know what the V talk is. - Yeah, I'm not pointing any fingers, but nothing's coming to me.
We, as two or more people, walked ourselves to that. - No, no, no, it was a group effort that we all pushed ourselves to this limit. - Yeah, we spent the night at Winterhaven twice, 'cause we spent the night at Winterhaven the last time we were there too. - Bottom line, not my fault. The important part is, we're all alive, nobody got coup de gras or executed or anything else. - It came close though, didn't it? It came real close indeed. One or two bad rolls and you would be short one Brianna, you could have been short a Malkus, you could, I mean, there's some-- - I love how it's turning out right now.
I'm having a very good time. - Every time we talk about killing Malkus, I'm like, I am gonna roll the most timid, backline, role-playing character in the world. I'm gonna hide from all emotional conflict. - Best part is, since now we can take a breather, we can actually get some of this fuckin' tenseness out of us. We can actually talk, right? - We can actually talk, it's all out. Next session, I would say, we need to hold on to that even longer. - Yes. - You guys still got the gate to contend with? You still got, I mean, you guys got options upon options.
It's all-- - I'm glad we all came together at that point and said like, yeah, let's not use the gate for the farce because we might be like, you know, right into the middle of them or just in the middle of a farce somewhere. - Probably what would have happened, too. - Yeah, I like that there was a point where, like, Malkus and Ironhide was fighting. And, Draconis was in the background just like, holding a fireball saying, say I won't, say I won't. Just like, screaming at us to stop fighting. - Well, you guys won't stop. - Oh, Rob. - That's the whole conversation that was going on during the fight, Tyler.
- Okay. - Ew. - Well, guys-- - The Dunstan dating Sims conversation. - I have to bail. I will-- - All right, man. - It was fun. - Yes. - Keep in touch. - Miss you, man. - Take care, man. - Good luck. - I have to continue taking it easy, so I'll see you. - Thanks for doing it, man. - Oh, no, no, this was the highlight of the past couple of weeks, so. - Yay. - You're the highlight of my life. - Aw, and thank you for the chat. Thank you to the chat, too. It was nice getting that reaction and kind of seeing stuff, so. - Yeah, I was worried this would be like, kind of weird, but it all, like, I really enjoyed having chat here.
- Yeah, so, okay, I'll see you guys later. - All right, see you. - See you, dude.
