[CLINKING] Peacocks. This summer, during the biggest sporting event of the year, Peacock turns to two broadcasting legends for the Olympics coverage you can't find anywhere else. I think they mean us. Oh, [BLEEP] Um-- [CLEARS THROAT] With an incredible duo sure to take home the comedy gold. Olympic highlights with Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson. New episodes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, only on Peacock. Coming to Apple TV+ on August 9th. You're the Marine? Yeah. You're the ex-con. Yeah, I did time, but you're only going to cast aspersions at me. From the director of Mr. and Mrs.

Smith and The Bourne Identity comes a new film. It's your first job? I know what I'm doing. It's a little late for a crit change. Starring Matt Damon. Everybody in New England is after us. And Casey Affleck. Go, go, go, go, go! What are you doing? Taking notes. Taking notes on a criminal conspiracy. The Instigators, rated R. Streaming August 9th on Apple TV+. All right. How about we do that thing where we go around the table and introduce everybody? I'm Jason. I'm the Dungeon Master. Let's start with Merlin. Hello, I'm Merlin Reynolds. I'm playing Gavin Dearborn. He is a warlord, and ready kicks butt.

Breanna. Hi there. I'm Breanna Richardson. And I'm playing Judzia Grace. And she's going to kick some butt too. Scott. Hi, I'm Scott McAvoy. I play Marcus Santa, our group's healer and resident cleric. And I'm not allowed to kick butt. Izzy. Hey, I'm Izzy. I play Una, the half-elf paladin. And I always kick butt. Last but certainly not least, Kat. I am Kat Charlie, and I play Fi-lover, a changeling thief. Mentioned butt. I touch butts. Only pretty butts though. So your own butt? Yes, always. Constantly. It's awkward. You know we're working ahead in the story at some point, right?

That's going to be-- [LAUGHTER] Kat, congratulations on having a son. Thank you. Thank you. [CHEERING] So quick review of what happened last time. You guys are a new unit kind of forged by the Overwatch as an experiment, just to see can you guys do some stuff that an entire battalion couldn't accomplish, like little light jobs get in, get out. So to prove your worth and to see if this is even going to pay off for them, Sergeant Fletcher sent you on a mission to excavate some gems from under the Overwatch itself. There's a set of caverns. After fighting off some bugs and some spiders-- I remember that being highly successful, by the way.

I remember you kicking all kinds of ass, and nothing happened at all. That was embarrassing. I remember Gavin and Una taking dirt samples with their face, but it was a cool problem. I had to get a closer look. For science. For science. On top of that, you guys accomplished something that even Group 1 couldn't do, and that was you crossed the infamous Rickety Rope Bridge, and you got to the gems on the other side and brought them back. Fee did lose all his weapons in the process, but he could be requisitioning some new stuff, I'm sure. I hope. Otherwise, use your fists.

I have to become a monk. So I'm imagining you guys are leaving the cave. You're cutting your losses after that. It's pretty much, OK, we got what we came for. If you'd like to explore more, you can do that. I think it'd probably be better if we head back and at least reload. How's that? Get Fia's weapons back and report back to our sergeant as, hey, we made a successful excursion into the caves. OK. Yes. So making your way back to the city, you go through the normal checks. And I'm not-- we never really talked about what-- getting in and out of the city requires this rigorous-- I mean, you're part of the military.

They know you. So leaving the city is not too hard. Getting back in, they're checking you over. There's obviously guards posted at this massive gate. And kind of like what we discussed for Winterhaven back in the day, there's kind of an airlock system where there's a gate and then a secondary smaller gate behind that where-- mostly for security purposes. So getting back into the city, you've done all your checks. And they've kind of patted you down and checked you out. And you're fine. You're back into the city. Are you looking to just go speak to Sergeant Fletcher right now?

Think so. I think that's the best thing to do. Yeah, just march on it. Absolutely. OK. So heading into this guy's office, he's having kind of a quiet conversation with someone else. Does anyone want to do a perception check to see if they can kind of eavesdrop on it? I've got plus 4 perception. Got me beat. I got plus 3. I got plus 5. P. OK, let's roll this. 14. 14. That would make sense. The road would have the highest-- Which means we should probably send in somebody else. Only if it's life or death. That's the only time. Oh, OK. Man, you guys got emails about that, by the way.

I forgot to tell you. It's like, what the fuck are they trying to do? Admittedly, the reason I think that we didn't send a fee in directly during the whole pillar business was he couldn't heal back up. Yeah, he was kind of beaten. But it's like, you guys sent in the worst person for that. I think that's because they didn't want to see you die. It's like, I thought she was dead for sure. Yeah, so I think it's not-- I think that none of us even checked fee skill, because we all just wrote him off as half dead. And then when I finally did and saw there was plus 9, it was just ridiculous.

He's way better at this than me. I just figured we were treating our group like the Special Olympics and everybody gets a chance. Doesn't matter how good we are at something, we're just, you're next. Everyone gets a participation award. Exactly. Reminds me of field day back in grade school. Yes, field day. So OK, 14, you're going to hear little snippets of this conversation. So it looks like Fletcher's talking to someone who's of the same caliber as him. It's not a superior. He's just kind of talking to somebody. And you're hearing little snippets of him saying things like, yeah, I know it's a problem.

What do you want me to do? Look, I-- yeah, so you're just hearing little snippets of this conversation. So obviously there's something going on, but you're not hearing both ends of this conversation. And then he sees that you've entered. And he turns around, you guys are cut up. You're looking pretty worse for the wear. Specifically Gavin. And a naked fee. But he looks good. Yeah, I mean, he's-- imagine him just standing there flexing just a-- Ruffling his own hair. Touching his own butt. So Fletcher's-- he kind of sees you. And at first he looks shocked that you're standing in the office.

And then he kind of gives a smile and is like, so you're back from the caves. I see that they were too much for you. Look, don't take it personally. To be honest, it was a long shot that you were going to get in and get out of there with any gems whatsoever, let alone what we were asking. I'll just tell Captain Tenbolt that this little experiment was a failure and we can write it off. Can I do a diplomacy check? Sure. I'm holding the bag right now. Before you do that-- I was going to say fee. Yeah, can I-- You just throw the bag at him. Yeah. And I step forward, check the bag at his feet or on the desk, whichever is more appropriate, and go, well, I'm sorry to disappoint you then.

Cape swish, walk away. I don't have a cape. Touch your butt and walk away. Toss your hair. I don't have any pants. Touch butt, walk away. There you go. So you're tossing these up on the desk. Yeah. They just kind of scatter out. So you've got an assortment of gems, but most predominantly rubies. That's what they were after because that's kind of what's in the area. And that wipes the smile right off this guy's face. Sorry to disappoint you, sir. Sassy fuck. [LAUGHTER] I think you dropped something there, Sarge. I think that was your smile. You going to pick it up?

And he thinks, oh, well, well done. You know what? I have another problem that a group so skilled as yours could maybe look into. You're familiar with the drow in the area, right? Yes. Well, are we? Can I have a history check? Roll a history check, yes. 11. Apparently no drow exist. Gavin's eyes light up at the sound of the drow, though. That's something that's near and dear to his heart as far as study. OK, so you roll a history check. I shall. Thank you. Based on the whole him carrying the long knife, the air exotic fighting weapon. OK, so history. With a plus 6, I've got 11. [LAUGHTER] Not so great.

They're pale. With an 11. OK, you know that they live underground, and they've done so for a long time. And that's pretty much what you're getting. The drow in this area have really started to become a nuisance, to be honest. One of our battalions fell upon one of their hidey holes. And to be honest, that just can't stay open. We'd like you to take a set of explosives down into their little corridors and find the most structurally weak portion and blow it to bits. Bury them alive, make sure that they can't get out through this portion anyway. They're like ants.

They'll tunnel out another way or use one of their pre-existing holes. But yeah, other than that, as long as they're not a nuisance to us in this area, that'll be fine. Think you can handle that? Oh, we've done a pretty good job of destroying tunnels so far. I think we can handle this, boss. I'm going to elbow him. Send Una in. Sorry. So he gets up and goes across the room. And there's this belted set of explosives with a fuse on it, which looks to be-- if that were to go off, that would make quite a big boom. And he hands it very gingerly to Gavin. Gavin accepts.

Let's put this on the least likely to fall over a person. Not the most likely. [LAUGHTER] Make sure you don't set that off until you're absolutely sure you want to blow something up. And make sure to report back to me when you're done. Yes, sir. You have your mission. Get out of here. Get some more equipment for a fee here. He had to abandon his while we were retrieving the gems. Sure. Whatever he lost, just go next door, and they'll fill an order for whatever you're missing. Thank you, sir. Thank you. So it's pretty obvious this guy did not expect you to come back, or at least not come back successful.

Beyond that, does anyone want to roll an insight check, anything like that? Yeah. Yeah, insight. I've got plus 9. You got me beat again. OK. 27. Holy shit. OK. Burly. Wow. That was great. 27. Wow, that's really high. OK, 27. When he mentioned Captain Tenbolt, there's something in his voice that would make you think that he wants this project to fail. That perhaps this would be a black mark on the captain and maybe something he's been gunning for from the beginning. Maybe he's looking to get an edge and kind of step up. So yeah, you're not getting the utmost confidence in you right now from the sergeant, at least.

Huh. Indeed. So you've got-- let's just say you got your new gear. You're ready to go. All of you have taken a little bit of a rest. You're prepared, kind of point all your-- all your cuts and bruises and scars and whatnot. And you've stopped the bleeding. You're ready to go. The area he was telling you to go to, you want to just skip right to that? Is there anything anybody wants to do? Oh, yeah, actually. I wouldn't mind, yeah, speaking to everybody just as we're beginning to leave out, sort of put our heads together before we jump into this place. All right, huddle up.

Indeed, yeah. All right, crew. Everybody ready to go? Anybody need to pick up anything? No, I'm all set. I know you're going to speak to everybody. Yeah. Come on, inspire us. Precisely, yeah. All right, huddle up. Ready to go? All right, huddle up. All right. We did a damn good job with the procuring of the crystals. And it looks like we're not going to get very much rest before we go out and take care of the next issue. Anybody have anything they need to say? Remember what I said last time? Stop eating the dirt. Stay out of the front. Doesn't taste good. Keep it out of your mouth.

I don't enjoy stitches. You're our leader. We need you to be up. You're our leader, get behind us. Wait, what? Essentially. Anybody get a strange vibe from the sergeant? Oh, yeah, I'm going to relate whatever I glean from insight to them. Would a history check work on like a person? Um, yeah, theoretically, yeah, good. I'd like to do a history check on the guy he doesn't like. OK. Other captain. Military lore. 14. OK. Captain Chaden Tenbolt is kind of this swaggering war hero. He was one of the people who who led the charge in the Evergreen. He was like, this dude's killed elves for days.

He's he's you know, this that was his big thing. And that's earned him that's earned him kind of a reputation in the Overwatch. Like that's the guy you go to when you want shit done. He'll he'll get it done no matter what. And he's he's he's cheated death numerous times. This guy should have been slaughtered, but he should have been riddled with arrows in a forest somewhere. But for some reason, he's he's always seemed to kind of come through. And unfortunately, there are a few of his subordinates that fucking hate that because it makes them look shitty, especially people who are stuck with desk jobs or stuck with they don't have a battalion of their own to command.

They don't have they're just they're just above the level of grunt, but not quite at the level where they get to run anything. So maybe taking this guy down a peg would definitely be a notch in someone's belt. Question about that, too, is this seem like a legitimate victory type thing, or does he win by attrition like Zap Bratican style? With a 14 in history, I can't tell you that. OK, are we the captain's pet project or are we the sergeant's project to be a thorn in his side? Well, this was more a thing where it was the captain's idea. He wanted he wanted to do something like this, but he's not going to run it.

That's that's not why you have subordinates. It's like, OK, start this up. Let me know how that goes. And that like he wants he wants it to be a success. But they're taking five fresh faces and just, I don't know, let's see if it works. If they die, I mean, they die. That would suck. But hey, if it's successful, no harm done. This this would just be great. That's gravy for us either way. So, yeah, the sergeant really doesn't have anything in the he doesn't have a horse in this race other than you losing. I mean, if you were to if you were to fail openly, that would especially in your first mission, that would be great because it was like, oh, well, maybe the captain's not right about everything, is he?

That kind of thing. It's very, very petty. We can still have this to our advantage, guys. Yeah, I'm going to relate that all the history to them and say, I don't like petty men. He thinks we're going to fail. So let's make sure we don't. And I was getting that vibe as well with this whole smile and immediately going, oh, look, you failed. How great. Imagine, you know, if he had more investment in this particular situation, then he wouldn't have had that same attitude. Like I said, we can turn this to our advantage if the captain is hoping that we succeed, but the sergeant is hoping we fail.

We can make the sergeant look good by saying you picked the right people. To do this job and not just through five people together who failed. Do we care about making making petty bastards look good? I know we can help us. Yeah. I'd rather be the captain's pet than the sergeant's. Well, the captain's not going to pay attention to us. He might if we succeed. He's not going to care if we if we succeed or not. He just wants the job done. He doesn't care who does it. And a victory is and will come better in his eyes. I guess we'll have to deal with Sergeant Fletcher eventually.

But, you know, we're putting the cart before the horse. We definitely, you know, just need to continue to be successful. And I have no reason to believe that we won't. Yeah, you I would imagine you get the distinct impression that this the last the last mission he sent you on, like there would be no way of him really knowing about the bridge or anything. That's unless you go down there and personally check it out. No one's been down there for years. It is it would seem sending you up against Drow. That's like he that's that's that's pretty dangerous, like sending you into there.

Like you're going into their home turf. You're going underground to get them. They're known assassins. Oh, killers. Oh, yeah. Mankillers. Yeah. Key word, man. Like Marcus says, we are trained in bringing down caverns, so. Let's go find the pillar, have Una sneak past it. We'll be all set. Let's go. But I'm never going to let that down. That's that's your blue. You're going to have to you're going to have to do something equally bad ass now to get rid of that stigma. That's that's the rule. That's fine. Marcus will find will find something embarrassing for him to joke about.

I face plant you knock down pillars. Oh, I'll get my turn. I'm not I have no fear of that. Certainly. I would say Faye doesn't have any feet, doesn't have any pants would be embarrassing, but that but it's not really that but. Dad ass. Who's holding on to the explosives just before we get started here? How about the one with the best acrobatics? I would say whoever gets hit the least. That would be me. Yeah, definitely be me. Because you tend to stay in the back and that's safe. Yeah. OK, I will take the explosives. The before we we move on out. Did did we want to.

Well, I presume that from the military weapon cache, I grabbed the short sword. Did we want to head round past my house? Or character development? Yeah, sure, definitely. So how do you approach that? And I would presume it would be on the way. I just I mean, it's it's kind of just in town. So I presume it's just like a, oh, yeah, and that's my house. So describe your house to me. What's your house look like? It's just like a little house. I mean, like off after after my father died through the the the well, elf madness thing. Couple of years after that mother was just really depressed.

She she couldn't keep up the farm. There's too many memories there. So she just moved into like a smaller, smaller house closer into town just to get away from from the farm stuff. I say one one of my my older brothers would have taken up the the hands on the farm and they're doing it. So, yeah, so it's just like a little house in town just to kind of get away from from everything that was previous. So. OK, let's do this. You're you're taking the group with you, I imagine. Yeah. And this would be the first time that she's met any any of you guys. Yeah. So you would just I mean, this is your house.

You'd kind of walk in and she's just kind of cleaning up just that just just doing momly stuff. What are you going to do in a like a fantasy town? There's nothing really to do. No TV. So just just just cleaning up, tidying up the place. Now, remember, you look like you got beat the hell up. So she she your mother's it's really going to say, well, what happened to you? I'm all right. I'm all right. Thanks, us. You know, it's just a couple of scratches and bruises, you know, military stuff. It's fine. Don't worry. I was just hanging around somewhere. She's she's kind of kind of rush over to you and do that.

Do that momly thing where she grips you by the head, both hands. It just starts like turning your head to look at like all of your face. You're covered in bruises. It's fine. It's fine. They hear their boo boo. What do they have you doing? Just just bug extermination, really. And pretty bugs did this to you. They were really big bugs. I want it to be canon that Una and I are in the background giggling at all. Like mama's boy. I'm not in front of the guys. Well, could you at least introduce me to your friends? OK. And yet I go down the line and go, OK, this is we have Gavin and Jadzia and Marcus and Una.

She kind of reaches out and shakes each one of your hands. Pleasure. Gavin tips his hat to her. What a charmer. You look like you got it the worst of all. Did you get beat up by bugs, too? Yeah, but you know, hey, no permanent damage. Yeah, I'm sure everything's all right. Thank you. She really put something cold on that, your cheeks swelling up bad. I was like, oh, thank you. No, I'm I'm all right. I appreciate it, though. Do do you need anything to eat? Anything like that? I could go fix something easy. I think Gavin's all his bad ass. He's beginning to melt away.

Just looks like a kid with a beard and a long hair. He's like, no, that that's all right. Thank you, though, Mrs. Fee's mom. Oh, do moms will strip that bad ass away real quick. You can't glower in front of your mom. That doesn't work. We have a group house mom now. That's it. Fee, stay right here. I want to give you something. OK. So big, sloppy kid. Shut up. Back with his fuzzy teddy bear. I'm she does that thing where she spits on a rag and just like starts wiping at your face to get the dirt off. Oh, yeah. Mom's spit can totally take off. It's better than bleach, man.

So she she leaves the room and then comes back with this this this oblong object kind of wrapped in like leather. And and she she kind of unwraps it. And it's this this this this fairly large broadsword in a sheath. If if they really have you out there fighting whatever it is you're fighting, I I would really feel better if you took this with you and she she holds it out to fee. Thanks. It is it's kind of heavy for me, but I'll get used to it. It's cool, I think. Well, you just need to kind of work out those spindly little arms of yours. I'm sure your friends will help you out on the road.

I just you just need to do some some yard work or something. What I'm they'll they'll they'll figure out. I'm sure. Kevin will clap a fee on the back and say, Don't worry, man. I'll show you some pointers with how to handle that thing. Actually, I think she and she she points to him. Maybe she should help you build up your arms. But she she seems like she she can lift a lot. That that was your father's sword. I know he'd want you to have it. I if you're going to be out fighting giant bugs, I'm hoping they were giant bugs. If you're going to be out fighting something like that, I'd like to see you defend yourself a little better.

And that that did him well all the years he used it. Thanks, man. Oh, next time I come back, I promise I'll have less bruises. I can't promise I won't have bruises, but there'll be less of them. It'll be fine. And she kind of gives a smile and tussles your hair. I'm sure you will. OK, well, we got to get going, but I'm sure I'd love to talk to your friends some more. Maybe you could tell me. No, no, no, it's fine. We got to go. Come on, guys. Come on. Come on. Everyone, I miss his mom. Next time, we'll have meat. OK, thanks. Have fun storming the castle. I'm just walking around looking like a Final Fantasy character now.

Five foot eight, five foot four sword. Oh, God. Fi, you can't die because that would be me have to go to that lady and tell them you died. Oh, we'd have to bring Baranathan for that. There's there's no properly emote that scene. Do you have any broad swords around? Like to buy one? I was scratching my head so hard. I was like, what are you doing? That's so cruel. I thought she was just delaying the inevitable, just trying to figure out something like, oh, crap. Oh, yeah, your desk is nice. So the group is going to is going to go out to the the site that the sergeant was describing, which is this bit of open field.

Let's see, Marcus, give me a perception roll. Oh, perception. 15, 15. So stumbling around in this field, the entire point of these little drow hidey holes. Is that they almost seamlessly blend in with the surroundings that so they excavate up. They they live underground and they'll like they'll have these little tunnels. And they'll they'll excavate into a an area and. They'll they'll just kind of congregate there. And you guys are looking in this empty field for the exact spot where they're coming out, and you kind of find this this section of of grass that doesn't quite look the same as everything else.

And it's it's kind of covered up with some branches and stuff. So uncovering that, there is a hole that pretty much leads straight down. It's angled so that you could kind of you can kind of slide down it if you'd like. You can also use rope if you if you if you like, or you can just kind of jump straight in. Can we see bottom? You can see bottom. It doesn't like bottom. He's bottom size fees. You it does appear to be fairly deep, but it's not. It's it's not like deadly. If you if you were to fall in or something, it wouldn't you. You might you might hurt your leg or something if you if you just took it on the ground, just I'm going to jump in and just take it ankles first.

But yeah, it doesn't appear to be like a bottomless pit or something. All right. Just wanted to make sure if we did decide to slide in, it wasn't going to be, you know, right, sliding to the next three episodes. Well, guys, do we is to get there's since this is a forest forested area, I take it there's a trees somewhere nearby. We could at least lash some rope to and use that to climb down if we wanted. Sure. Yeah. I think then let's do it. All righty. So let's do this. Let me know the order in which you're going down. Una, you taking the lead? Yeah, sure. Let's do that.

OK. Gavin or fee? I should probably go quite. I think I have the house perception. OK, so if you can go down, Una, you next. I believe Una should go first just to kind of hold the line. She may not be as perceptive, but she'll make sure nothing comes after fee when he comes down. Yeah, I'm thinking, though, if it's trapped at any sort and any part in the way that fee might be able to pick up the trap better than Una would. Good point. Either or would work. I think fee being able to spot the traps on the way down probably would be better. And then Una, if nothing else, can shove him past the trap when he gets stuck in it.

So. So, OK, let's say that you you you just slide down here. Who's last in line? Probably. Well, I don't know, Jazia, you got the explosives. Yeah. So we probably would put you in the back. Yeah. So these explosives you you took a good call. You all blow up. Yeah. Well, we're about to find out. Um, the these. So these explosives, you get the distinct impression that even though they are you light them, you light a fuse and then and then back the hell up. There's some there's some really explosive compounds working together. There's a liquid sloshing around in this.

And and it would be really bad if, say, you dropped them or were hit really hard, something like that. Don't like don't jostle them too much is is kind of the moral of the story. So don't jump down there, Jazia. Right. You're sliding down with a rope and everything. We can catch you at the bottom, too. Yeah. OK, so, Jazia, do me a favor and make make an athletics role. Oh, no. We all blow up and us as next week, next week in your new characters. But don't worry, I got a spare group three sitting right nearby. They're ready to go. Oh, oh, oh. Oh, all right. Negative one athletics.

Let's do this. 13. All right. Well, the role itself is good. So, uh, Jesse could have been one. And then it would have been a zero. No, it would've been a negative one. So Jesse is kind of getting her footing and she's repelling that. You can tell she's kind of uncomfortable with the physical activity, that kind of thing. It's not really her bag. So she's she's kind of sliding down this this hole and she's the last one to go. You guys are all pretty much waiting down there for her. So you get your torches lit and you got your you're ready for her to go and you can hear her footing slip.

And she because this hole is fairly narrow, there's not a lot of room to tumble, but there is bouncing and sliding happening. Oh, can we roll the like? Yes. As a matter of fact, Una, do me a favor and roll an athletics check. You're going to roll to you're going to try to catch her as as she's sliding down. You can see that this is a long enough hole. It's like, OK, yeah, this isn't this isn't this isn't working. She's she's she's losing it. Oh, God. Oh, I'm sorry, guys. This is how we die. Let me just apologize right now. Twenty. Holy shit. Oh, my God. So Jesse is still got that she's she's still got the rope, but it's it's a situation where you can't hold on to that slide because you'll get you know, it's just going to burn your hands.

So she's tumbling out of this hole and it kind of the it kind of opens up into this hallway. So it dumps her out into midair. There's a section where there's about there's eight feet from floor to ceiling. And then it's just that that's just air. And then the hole goes up. So Una reaches out and catches Jadzia before she hits the ground. And that's probably a really, really good thing that she did that. So congratulations on not exploding first off. And then the explosive finale of group three. If you guys duster off. Oh, yeah, I don't know if you guys want to say anything to each other or whatever, acknowledge the fact you almost just died like that was when Jadzia first of all, she like grabs on to Una like a hug, and then she kind of pulls away and dust herself off like, yes, thanks.

Don't hug her too hard. Bye hug. Oh, man. So you guys find yourself in this. This looks to be finished like this looks to be like like like someone's put work into this now, either. This looks like maybe a dungeon that existed before that. Maybe the drow repurposed or maybe they're doing. Maybe they were just doing work on this to make it livable. It would be odd to actually, you know what? Marcus, give me history check. Oh, go ahead. Pick the worst possible person to do this. I'm just picking 18 random people. Eighteen. There you go. Good, good, good. We're solid.

So what you've read about Drow and how they live, not necessarily the race themselves, but just how they they they live. They usually live way deep underground than this. This is this is kind of odd. You guys are only about like 30 feet down or so 30, 40 feet down. So this is a little odd that you'd find such a finished portion of like normally this would be, you know, caverns that would lead down and down and down. And then there would probably be some some traps like you found in the last set of caverns you were in. And then maybe you'd find an offshoot somewhere that would you wouldn't think anything of it.

But that might lead to like an underground city like that's that's how they live. They're spread out through Theria, underneath Theria in these little towns and cities, and they kind of coexist. Well, not coexist, but they live side by side with horrible monsters like the bugs that you guys fought. But the deeper you go down, the bigger stuff gets in the nastier it gets. So these guys are pretty much experts at killing. So you're dumped into this this this little like like a finished hallway. And it's coated in dust and dirt, and you can see where there's there's a column of sunlight now that you've uncovered that portion and slid down that that that thing where you can just see all the dirt and dust particles floating through the air with the sunlight and.

Looking down the hallway just a little bit, you can see where the hallway opens up into like a larger room. See, you want to sneak up and take a listen. Yeah, session actually gave me a stealth check. That's your bread and butter, man. You should be great thing for it. You should be great at that. So let's do this. Fee move, move up a bit. OK, so as fee moves up, everything is like he is he is stealthy, like just you, you, you just butter just great at it until. He kicks this tiny pebble that I guess tumbled down with you guys. Maybe Jensie dislodged it while she was tumbling down that little that little rabbit hole.

And it makes this horrible, echoey bounce into the next room. And you can hear footsteps. Weapons ready in the next room, you hear them kind of talking to each other in in. I guess it would be Elvin. Do any of you speak Elvin? Yeah, I do. Yeah, I do. So you you understand what they're they're saying and they're saying they're intruders about keep on alert. And you hear a door slide open and several more sets of foot footsteps. And it sounds like they're running right towards you guys. OK, so let's let's put some drow on the field here. Time to run up there.

Do me a favor. You guys roll for initiative. Since I rolled initiative, I can use battlefront shifts if somebody can move half their speed as a shift to start up. Anybody need to reposition? I actually can't hit anyone until we're in the big room because I might hit you guys. Shit. All right. Drow scout number two. Uh, let's move on to. I still am not seeing any numbers on these. Yeah, they're they're not. You have to mouse over. OK, we'll just do the thingy. I know. Jason, sorry to bug you, man. I was going to fire off my power to reposition battlefront shift.

Yeah, don't don't. It's not bugging me, dude. It's a thing you should. All right. So, you know, removing you up then to kind of get a little bit closer in. Yeah, let's try that. I guess half your speed to forward, please. Excellent. OK. And I'm checked off. Go ahead. OK, so these drow are running. They're running into this room. This is a big deal. You guys have kind of stumbled upon something here and you can see them kind of communicating with each other, like hand signals and different things like that. They they definitely they're prepared for this. Each one of them have like a short sword and a long sword.

And each one of these guys have it. So that seems to be a particular fighting style that they're that they've adopted or that's just what they all use. Drow scout number two, two, three, six. He's going to slide right here. And he is going to swing his long sword right at fee. Wow. OK, that's twenty four versus your AC. That hits a little bit. Just a tiny bit. One, eight plus six, eight. OK, feet turns to him and says, that's not a sword. This is a sword. Well, the good news is it's your turn fee. OK, OK. So this guy comes like he just sprints into this hallway and takes this wide cut at your chest with the sword like he's trying to he's trying to end you.

Thank you. That ruins what I was going to do, but oh, well. OK, I'm going to hit it with my brand new really big ass sword. Twenty one. Twenty one will hit. Yes. Which power did you set off the trip or. Oh, that's a good point. I thought you were just doing like a basic melee type of thing. Yeah. Yeah. Well, my my my initial plan was to hit Drow Scout one because. With my first strike power, I get combat advantage against anyone who hasn't moved yet. So that's obviously that that would be arranged and just to kind of I was going to say you could still theoretically dash up and go after Drow Scout one and, you know, take an opportunity attack, but still get your benefit.

Yeah. And of course, now I think I will not move up just yet. OK, so I will damage for that. I thought eight eight damage and I returned the favor. So you cut back at him. Yeah. Anything else you want to do? No, that's it. OK, that'll bring up scout number three. Let's see. One, two, three, four, six. He's going to sign right up next to the. Oh, how much for all that planning? You should have shifted backwards. Mm hmm. Should have. Terrible. Let's see. You know what? Another long sword attack. 10. OK, well, that'll totally miss. And scout number four. See, the problem here is that this hallway is kind of jammed up now.

Just fine. Well, I noticed. Yeah. So he's just going to move up here and end his turn. Same thing with one. And Gavin, your turn. All right. Going to move up to here. OK, I'm going to use. We got to tear these guys down. I'm going to use intuitive strike against Drow Scout number three to debuff him and mightily and allow fee to tear him apart because we cannot flank or do anything else that really evokes combat advantage. So I'm striking now against his will. Eighteen. That'll hit. Excellent. So my trade off is just doing straight up weapon damage. No strength.

That's four. OK. OK. And then next time you take a swing at that guy, you'll get a net bonus of plus four. He's both combat advantage and plus two to strike. Both stacked on each other, which you have. Feel free to use your sneak attack. You may want to go back to your short sword briefly. Yeah. But yeah, nice, nice form. But hit him with the other one. Um, Oona. Um. OK. Hmm. Um. To do it, I can move past my take combat advantage or I take an opportunity to check you. You can. Yeah. Like if you want to mosh pit your way through that and just say, yeah, fuck it. I'll take damage if I have to.

Yeah. OK. Well, I take opportunity. Well, I mean, you can't move through an enemy is the problem. So I mean, there's no way to go around it to even take. Yeah. So. OK. Well, I do have a ranged attack. I think in this one instance, I would allow you to shoot through a teammate just because you are so close to each other. It would be like Patum on the shoulder. It's like duck down for a second. OK, so I can like just make a regular attack. Yeah, like a ranged attack. Sure. OK. What's your ranged weapon? All right. It's like I yell at somebody and hurt their feelings and they get take damage.

Oh, wow. That's interesting. Bullying. Yeah. Yeah. You could pull I'd allow him to go through my space. But if you want to drag Drow Scout to and put him, say, right here, I mean, we could just gang up and beat the crap out of them. I don't think I have anything that drags people around. You do actually. Your vicious mockery. I can move somebody. Yeah, that's actually it's a pull power. Vicious mockery. Yep. Drag him to and and then also hurt his feelings. I'm looking at that right now. Where is it? No, it doesn't know it gives him a negative to penalty to attack rolls.

Oh, my apologies. Not that that pulled day. My apologies. I could still, you know, try and do some psychic damage. Oh, yeah. Now you have wind furious all to where you can just fly. You just fly. I pass them and like jump up to speed to the other side. Yeah. Up to speed. Yeah, that's almost like teleporting. Probably at that point, you're leaving yourself open for the next two turns to them, hit you and I can't get you get to you to help. True. It's going to heal. Whereas if we keep these guys here and I move up to that spot in that little notch there, I can at least astral seal one of these guys and set them up for the next kill.

OK, should I vicious mock or should I fly? Probably go with the mockery and just keep bringing them down so that they can't hurt anybody. I can at least hurt them hard. Who has been debuffed? That would be number three. OK, so I'll do Scout to a scout. This is important. A scout to a male or female. Male. Perfect. OK. 19 versus. OK. Oh, yeah, that'll hit. Lovely. OK, I'm going to say how does it feel to be born in a matriarchal society, bitch? And psychic damage six. He says, oh, as a minor, minor action, an antics, you hurt his feelings. Oh, oh, poor baby. Oh, do you want to move or anything?

Now, just stay where I am, I guess. Jesse, your turn. All right, guys, I'm open to suggestions here because this is a really tight space. Yeah. Well, considering you have the explosives, don't get any closer. Yeah, I'm thinking stay away from getting hit. Well, that would totally take out this hallway to well, we would be able to say mission accomplished at that point. Yes, they're not getting back out of that hole. We're not getting our reward for it. Now, this might be dumb, but what we could do is blow up this whole like we all get into the room, blow up this hallway and then find a different way out.

And then we've done our job. I think I would prefer not to try and find another way out unless we know what we're getting into going further down. So the thing is, I hate this plan. Like by definition, if you were to blow up, then find another way out. You haven't done your job because there's another way out. True. OK. Well, I'll warlock curse number three because he's the closest. Really don't know what to do after that. I don't really. I suppose. Yeah, I guess I could delay action. Yeah, that delay. Let's open it up. Marcus, your turn. All right. First, I will move here to complete the blockade and I will hit a drill scout three with an astral seal.

Let's keep bringing them down, make it easier for you guys to hit 24. Nice. 24. Yeah, that'll hit. So he's at a minus two for defenses and next person who hits him. Fee gets gets hit points. So technically, Fee has a plus six to hit. Which one's that one? The one directly in front of me. Three, three, three. Yeah, there's so many multipliers now that if you were to miss, it would be embarrassing. And we'd have to tell your mom all about what you did with her with her husband's sword. Drow scout two is going to he's going to use something called the weapon attack.

He is going to swing with both the short sword and long sword at Gavin. Bring it. So he's kind of making this spinning sweep motion. So let's see here first with the long sword. 19 versus Racy. That's enough to hit. And the short sword. Eleven. That one. I'm actually studying his style as he's stabbing at me. OK, that's how I didn't mean to laugh at that. That's actually really cool. It's just you got a really good form as you're cutting into me like a Christmas ham. So that's how you stab somebody with a sword. Short sword specifically. Yeah. Eleven damage. Eleven damage.

And I'm bloodied with one hit. Wow. Mm hmm. It's a thing we're not holding the fucking cabin. What did I fucking tell you? Was wondering why he was running up so fast. You did immediately jump in front of the girl who told you to stay behind. Can I trick him as a minor actually in front of. Oh, don't worry about it. I'm sure he'll be tasting dirt soon enough. Step over him then. Oh, no. One of the drow behind this guy shouts to him and he's calling in order to to fall back. So he is going to turn and run backwards, which gives you an opportunity to thank you.

I'll take that just me. I don't know. Do just figure one as well. Oh, if he would get one to you. Seventeen. That'll hit just me. The basic. Yeah. Twenty. So you both hit. Gavin does ten damage maximum damage. Eight. Oof. OK, you guys really carve this guy up as he's. So he's trying to do this. This this like I'm going to hit him and then back up. And he's trying to do this really bad ass run backwards thing. And both of you just stick him in the back as he's as he's moving. So he switched her stab in the back. Gavin yells out now and boom, we both hit him. So he is definitely bloody.

That that really that that was not great for him. Feet, your turn. OK, so is the plan still to hit number three? Right. That's when you got all the buffs on. Yeah. If you can shoot a short sword and bring him low. Yeah. Would that be a massive pain to swap to that? What was that? No, no, no, no, no. That's that's one of those things where I I've never been a big stickler for that rule. If you just like your your unsheathing one, like, Valis does it all the time. Just go ahead. It's totally fine. For Anna, I'm not a. Twenty four, thirty. To attack. Jesus. Yes, that hits.

Outstanding. I get it. And then was there any bonuses on the damage as well? Yes. You're going to get. Let me see here. If you wait, if you're delaying until your next turn, then yeah, you're going to lose that previous turn. Hmm. Jesse was asking. Oh, OK. And yet was there any bonuses on the damage or is it just mud stands? You get standard plus sneak plus decks, standard sneak decks. Oh, and another plus two because of your cool rogue power. And that's it. OK, so that's the standard damage. And then you said plus two to six to do. Oh, no, hang on. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

That's it. That's it. It was maximum you. Oh, crap. No, it's still two to eight. That's right. That's it. Hey, still strong. Eight damage. 19. Don't forget to get back five points as well. OK, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I see the first one to be five. That'd be six plus five or five five. Is it a hit from the five more points back? Twenty. OK, so you just did a crap load of damage to this drought. He's going to stumble back as a result, like he was not prepared. Their entire idea was just like, OK, choke him in the hallway and push him back. We'll we'll try and put that kind of work to their disadvantage.

You know what? It's Drow scout three's turn, and he's going to use the two weapon attack on on feet. So long sword first. Twenty six versus AC. Yep. Short sword nine. No, these guys aren't very good with a short sword, I'm thinking. Gavin, don't study their short swords. I would not one of them is hit with with that yet. And seven damage. Stuck in. And he's going to shift back one. He's not going to do the turn and flee like the other guy did. Like he kind of learned his lesson like, no. Um, geez, number four, he's going to pull out his bow and just make a ranged basic attack against against Gavin here. 13 versus your reflex.

I don't believe 13 is going to hit me. Yep. No reflex of 16. I'm all right. So shield up and I'm OK. And then we got scout number one, who is going to shift down and do the same thing. Firing at Gavin, he's going to pull back his bow and 20. Fucking Kevin. Yeah, that is going to just barely hit me. So his arrow soars down, down the hallway and nine damage. And it off. So this is catching something vital. 11 damages. Yeah, nine damages a lot. So that's that's going to catch. That's probably going to catch you in the chest or something. That's that's pretty bad.

Wow. That reduces Gavin to two hit points. Gavin, your turn. All right. First thing I'm going to do is inspiring word. No, first thing you're going to do is bleed and cry a little bit. Just a little manly tears. I mean, that's yours. All right, then I'm going to use a healing surgeon. Yeah. Look at the arrow in my chest. This is nothing. This is nothing. Pull it out. It's still good. It's still good. I ain't got time to bleed. Yes. Absolutely. Just and I'm no longer bloodied. OK, look back at Una. I have to press the advantage. I'm going to roll my eyes really dramatically.

And I'll take my move action to step forward right here. Right in the face of a grass, druska three. Sorry. No, no, go ahead. Go ahead. OK, somebody say something. And I'm going to use intuitive strike, strike it as well. Oh, and I don't think it's going to hit. Um, he's still at the negative, or at least he's at minus two for me. So 11 to as well still will miss. Very well. I see the advantage he's pressing. Pressing his block. Um, is there anything else you want to do, man? If he's pressing his luck, he's coming up when he's. Wow, dude, do you know how old that reference is?

Yeah, I haven't figured out how to hack the board yet. Wow. And yet they still got it. I, I wonder if they're just giving you courtesy laughter. That's a laughter. I don't understand. Thank you. That's why I'm doing 33. I barely remember press your luck. And that's the I just remember it disappearing and then finding on the Internet that, yeah, they somebody figured out how to hack the algorithm. So no one knows what you're talking about. I'm just no one knows. Random selection choice, you buzz in when you get it. Just yeah, never mind. I got a game show where like the whammy was a little Tasmanian devil.

Yes. Well, OK, OK. Thank you. The 18 year old in our group got a 20 year old. Got it. All right. All right. With that, my turn is done. I am just I work. See, here's the thing. I work with a 25 year old dude at work. He just quit. But yet he didn't know what Wayne's World was. What? I know he's 25. It's like, OK, look, I know that's a dated movie and whatever, but you have no idea what that is. None. OK. I just felt like a thousand years old in my world. I'm not quite that old yet, though, Scott. I don't want to feel a thousand yet. Una, OK, I'm going to move up send my move action there and then I'm going to have it on your way by, would you?

Yeah, just like kind of like a little upside the head. Just shoulder image you go by. It's going to glare. And I'm going to strike the bloody drought in front of that drought. OK, 19 versus AC. That will hit 12 damage early. And it is subjected to my defiance. Oh, all right. Anything else you want to do? Um, I'm going to spit on Gavin's feet. No, I'm kidding. I'm just going to just going to glare extra hard now that I smacked the shit out of that. OK, Jadcia, your turn. All right. I am going to move right about here and that will activate my shadow step. And then will I be able to hit drought three from here?

Do I have to spit up a little bit more? Um, one more should do it. All right. OK. And then I'm going to use Eldritch Blast. Still need to curse to curse. Deny it. Curse three. The last time I did my turn, though, I think I want it backed up. Well, oh, did I? Yeah, I think I did. OK. I'm not 100% remember. Double curse. Double curse him if I already did it. And if not, whatever. I'm pretty sure I cursed the one on the top. So I think I did have anyway, 17 hit against a row. Yeah, that'll hit. Yep. And bam. And then we open the dice roller for the extra six. Boom. Oops.

There we go. So ten. Nice. This blast will kill him. Actually. So he just kind of like slumps to the floor, drops both the swords and they kind of clatter and you can hear it echo throughout this this big empty chamber. Um, do you want to do anything else? No, I think that's it. All right. Marcus. All right. Before I go moving around, Fi, are you coming up to trip somebody or do you want me to just do some healing on you? I, I was just going to move up and probably make a ranged attack. OK, I was to say, because I can move here and take a shot at him. But then everybody who clusters around me gets the defense bonus when they attack.

OK. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. And they get attacked. I didn't know if you guys were coming close or if you guys were going to try and take them from range. No, I can I can go in close now that I've put my broadsword away. All right. In that case, I will move up here and take a swing with my weapon of divine. Let's go with pasta sauce this week. At at drift scout number one, since I don't want to hit anybody who. 21. That'll hit. Pasta sauce everywhere. Solid. Smacking, smacking pasta. Whipping them with noodles for eight damage. Well, you're more of a well-wisher than a you know, a damage.

Anything else? Nope, that'll but now cluster around me, folks, because everybody gets plus two defense while they're around me. All righty. Let's see here. Drow scout number two. Shit. Ew. Shit's all over. Oh, I'm sorry. Is he's bloody shoe? Oh, it's bloody. No, let's not come up better than that, guys. Come on. And typing immediately. That's cool. He's going to make a range basic attack against Marcus. And fires, 23 versus reflex. Yeah, that'll hit. OK. Arrow flies through the chamber, eight damage. Oh, God. And that'll be it for him. See your turn. OK, I am going to move up.

There we go. There I can't use my ambush trick on him because he. Oh, no. Yes, I can, because he has no no allies adjacent to him, so I'll be using that. That gives me I don't mean to be that guy, but move more than two spaces, and that's part of your ambush trick. You could only shift to no ambush trick is up to your speed, but that is not a shift. I'm a knob. Sorry. That's right. No, that's an unbalanced and tricky thing to know. Yeah, ambush trick. Move up to speed until the end of your turn. You gain combat advantage against enemies within five squares that do not have any allies adjacent to them.

Nice. So I move up and just to me, like basic on him with my short sword. So 16, 18 because of the combat advantage. 18, that'll hit. Yes. OK, so damage seven and sneak attack. 17 in total. 17 damage. Fucking trolls. Group two is right about you. I said, um, is that all you want to do? Uh, yes. Yeah, that's the thing. I got to mark that down and make sure I cut that out of the show. I can't come out. Oh, I don't mind it. That was funny. Someone will mind it. Um, uh, Drow number four. Uh, hmm. And this is not this is not working out like he had hoped. Drow number four is going to shift up and use.

He hasn't used dual weapon attack. No. So dual weapon attack on Fi. First with the long sword. 15 versus CC. Nope, short sword. 25. Yes, that one hits. This is the one dude who knows how to use a short sword. Yes. Study out. Six damage six. Uh, man. OK, you know what? Drow scout number one. He's just going to use a straight up long sword attack against Marcus. Is he standing there? Yeah, Marcus. Uh, 19 versus AC. Yeah, that's going to hit. OK, so 14 damage. Yeah, I'm out, guys. Oh, my God. Our healer is down. Uh, Gavin, your turn. No worries. We'll be all right. I'm going to give him a inspiring word.

Get up. That's my job. Don't don't take my job. Following my leader's example. Roll, go and spend a healing surge and gain four additional hit points. Good. Five, so I get four additional. Yes. Well, I'm back up to nine. Excellent. Next step, I'm going to think I'm going to commander strike and ahead right here. God, I'm going to stab you. After all, my defenses are decent. This has just been a really bad run of luck for dice rolls. I'm supposed to see he keeps jumping right in front of Uno, like every time. It's like, I got this like I'm right in. I'm brash and awesome or something.

V, please go ahead and take a swing at number one. Like he. Me, the basic 16. Oh, uh, versus AC. Yeah, yeah. Awesome. Add three to the damage. I think you say, oh, say 15. Oh, that would be my turn. Yeah. Second, 12 damage, correct? Yes. Yeah. OK. Oh, actually, 15, because another 15, 15. So that'll kill him. Excellent. So you stab this guy and he just slumps. Yeah. Down to the ground again, dropping both swords, distract him with a shield bash, and then, you know, get him. Oh, OK. I'm going to shift down here. Smack Gavin upside the head again as I pass. What? Stop getting in the way.

And I'm going to valorous smite drown number two. OK. Nine. It's going to miss. Yep. OK. Yeah, I guess that's the you need to lay on hands. I guess I can make it together. You already did right upside his head. That's hilarious. No, I'd say save it. OK, OK. I'll end my turn then. You're going to put a challenge on. Well, yeah, why not? I'll pop a challenge on him. Thank you. Jadzia, your turn. I think you're muted. You're good at catching that. Well, I listen to group two a lot early on, so. I keep having nothing to do because you guys are all in front of me. We can't do anything.

I'll move up there. There's a hint. Don't explode. OK, that's a good start. Yeah. Yeah. I guess I could rule it. Roll a check of some kind, just so I have something to do on my turn. Any suggestions? Should I check out the row or something? You can move through party members, but I don't want to get in front because I'm holding all the ammo. Right, right, right. I'm just I'm just, you know, it's an option. Maybe look for a weak point in like the the visible area. See if there's any point that looks like we could stick the explosives there. Oh, yeah, I guess I could do that.

Would be perception, right? Yes. OK. So it's going to be 15 because I got fate of the void from that other one dropping. Actually, 16. 16. You get a plus two. What exactly are you trying to scope out? A good place to put the bombs. Um, looking around the area, it looks like that this this this kind of corridor and chamber deviate to two different paths. And something that Marcus would have known from his check is that there's always there's always kind of a central location. They start from one place. So there's a deeper portion underground where it would be a better place to to put those explosives.

All right. So that's a thing that people can know. And I'll work with curse number four just for the hell of it. That's my turn. All right. And Marcus. Well, I think I'm going to prefer not to get hit and die again. So. I step. See. I'm not everybody. I'm coming back up this rope. Yeah. Yeah. If I move here, I can take a shot at Drow Scout four with a healing strike, which will give fee some hit points back. How's that sound? Sounds good. Typing. Now, discoveries on the new board are pretty cool. So we're finding new things. All right. Drow Scout number two or four?

Yeah, it's four. Let's see. Eleven. Nope, not going to help much, but that will miss. Yeah, but where is it? Why is that not show? Oh, OK. No, I didn't see it didn't show my arm. All right. Yeah, you get a healing search fee. Oh, some. You said they are thanks very much. Plus wisdom and con bonus, yeah, because of pacifism, he's required to spend a healing search. So that's another plus six. Oh, OK. So six to me. Yes. Add another plus six free. Blimey. Six. Thank you. Yeah. What's. I want to come up as the ignorant American here. I think it's adorable. You just said Blimey.

Yeah, I was quiet about it, but yeah. The charm will wear off soon. Don't worry. I had to get used to having Canadians on the show. They say, hey, like, I just have to get get it out of my system and then I'll I'll I just I just wanted to. And Canadians don't ever correct you when you're mispronouncing their name for six months. Never mind. Doesn't matter. Talk to her every day. She never fucking OK. Huh? Um, trial scout number two. Well, well, shit. Um. Fuck it. He's standing face to face with with Una. Let's let's swing with the broadsword here, the the the longsword.

Twenty four days. Yeah. All right. Now we're talking. Eleven damage. OK. Uh, and. Fi, your turn. Um, I'm going to use unbalance and trick on number four. And see if I can knock him on his ass. Twelve. No, you do not knock him on his ass. No, that's going to miss sadly. Oh, OK. Um. I can I can still use backstep, can't I? Even if I don't hit them, you make an attack roll against an enemy within five squares. I don't know because he's not granting combat advantage. No, fair enough. Yeah, that's the end of my turn then. All right. Well, four sees the sees the battered Marcus standing right in front of him.

So four is going to swing on Marcus with his long sword. And twelve. Nope. And he is going to miss. Gavin, your turn. You must be part pacifist and can't hit a bloody character either. OK, pacifist pumping. Gavin will move into position going down here, then up here. So just sort of a janky area type thing. And then watch. Let's see. It's one, two. I go was here. I go one, two, three. Well, you know, you're taking you're taking attack of opportunity, right? Well, no, that's why I'm trying to avoid. Well, you're right. But if you move here. Oh, crud, there is no way.

Wait, wait. If if you opportunity attacks that guy has divine sanction on him. Oh, the opportunity attacks. Does he take damage? Yes, because it's not you and it's minus two to strike. So I'm going to take that gambit. That sounds like something I would do. Move up to here, provided I survive through this whole thing. Right. So let's let's see if you survive. Hold on a second. Let's see if you start image first. So he is going to take and die. So never mind. He's going to swing and impale himself on his own sword. He's going to have a heart attack mid sword stroke and totally die.

He ate a lot of fried foods. So like thawed thunder, our cord thunderclap and stuff like that. It just explodes and awesome. Should we try and not kill the last drought so we can like interrogate him or some shit? We're not going to get much out of them. It is a male drought. They tend to be kind of. If you already established they have cockney accents, so they will have to do that. Yes, they keep alive in a matriarchal society, which means they aren't told much. They're simple grunts. Go do that. Go down. So, OK, I'm going to request commander strikes so that I can get feed a hit with this sneak attack.

V, would you kindly stab the drought scout for you? I started to attack them, don't I? Is that just for 16? Because come advantage that'll hit. Yes. So that'll just hit, but it'll hit damage 11 and then sneak. So 17. 17 damage. All right. Anything else? That will be my turn. All right. Oh, OK. I'm getting that. So to paint a picture for everyone who's listening, there is one lone drought and they are surrounding it and they're just going to rough them up. I was looking bad for the drought. I'm going to use strike, I guess. 12. Yeah, 12 will not hit anything. Yep.

Sorry. No worries. It's OK. At least he's got that mark on him now. He has to fight her. Jadzia, your turn. Running a spot to to fit in. Come on, get on it. Yeah. As long as you're blasting from this direction. Don't say blasting when it comes to her right now, please. Oh, right. Right. Oh, right. Yeah. All right. And I will do Eldris Blast. Pew, pew, pew. 16 against reflex. That'll hit. Jesus. Crit damage. Fuck. 18. Oh, that'll kill it. What? One shot, one kill. Good job. Wow. You are nothing to fuck with. That's as long as you don't get hit for the rest of the episode, then you should be fine.

Jadzia is our sniper. I'm joking. I'll take you. That that so that'll take you guys out of combat. That the last drought goes down. You don't hear any more. You don't hear any more footsteps or anything in the immediate area. There are two doorways besides the one that you you. Well, that wasn't really a doorway, more of a hall. But these are actually two doors. one one that would lead east and one that would lead south. All right. I think we should take a knee for just a few moments. As everybody. All right. Pop a couple of healing surges. I think Jadzia is just going to look at Una expectantly and then like look over Gavin and look back at Una again.

See if they have anything to say to each other. Look, I know it was a gambit Una, but it paid off. It is too furious to speak. Or she's muted. Sorry, I was muted. I was yelling. You know, I'm just going to go with the mute and I'm just going to like punch you pretty hard in the stomach. Not to do damage, but like not to hurt. I'm just going to punch you, not do damage. Just punch you. Yeah. I don't think that one that does no damage. OK, let me let me do some damage then and then I'll lay on hand. If he gets a lot. Oh, geez. You'd be the best interrogator. You take it.

Keep bringing them back. Yep. That's so sad. So, yeah, you guys got a decision to make here. Well, there's no more rocks to kick around in here, I'm hoping, so maybe we send Fie up to take a listen at the doors first and see if we hear anything. OK. Prepare to run if we have to. We should also look over these bodies, see if there's anything of value and also maybe a clue. Yeah, let's get in with them or loot them. Sorry. Do it. You found 15 gold among the among the stacks of bodies here. On top of that, there isn't there there isn't a whole lot on them. It looked like these guys were just common scouts, like someone just guarding the door that that didn't look like that necessarily they were living right here or anything.

But that was their job to keep you at the very least in that hallway and try and murder you. Don't don't don't let them escape. Judging by their battle plan, don't let them escape into the complex was was their their battle doctrine. Yeah, that didn't work out so well for them. Well, we haven't escaped yet, so. I think in all fairness, Fie should get the 15 gold since he did throw his gold off a bridge earlier. We are getting it back. Yep, that's true. And we promised he gets dead guy gold and we'd pay him back. Whoo. So I'll mark that down. Which which door do you guys want to tell you?

You said you want to send Fie up to listen to one of these. How about this one? So you want to do the one to the east feed? Do a do a thievery check for me, please. Or a stealth check? Yep. But I'm still twenty nine crit. Beautiful. You couldn't hear Fie with a stethoscope on the floor. You could not like. It's amazing. It feels like he's showing off a bit. He wants to he wants to make up for the stone kicking incident a couple of seconds ago. And he he presses his ear against against the door. And he's listening in and he hears voices in the distance. But they're they're they're they're kind of faint.

Female or male? This this would sound like maybe a mixture of the two. So this this this sounds like, yeah, there's there's there's more than two people in the next than the next section. It sounds like. Take a listen to the other door and see if you hear anything there. Yeah, I could hear just. That seems. There's another stone and kicks the door down. So. Fie kind of stealths over to the other door, the one to the south. And he presses his ear up against the door, but he takes one too many footsteps and kicks the base of the door. Oh, good. And it just kind of makes this this loud like clonk, just just and then there's a couple of tense moments where everyone's looking at each other like, fuck.

But but nothing, nothing, nothing comes charging through the door. He listens to after everything kind of settles down for a second. He listens to the other side of the door and doesn't hear anything. All right. Do you want to crack that door open and then take a peek in? If there's nothing there, we should be safe to at least go see if there's anything worthwhile in there. Yeah, yeah, I'm I'm I'm cool with that. All right. So we're down here for now. Yeah. So let's move down there. So cracking the door open kind of makes this gentle creaking sound. And it appears to open into another narrow hallway that opens up into yet another chamber.

The hallway itself, the hallway itself slopes down like you're definitely going downhill if you if you were to walk down it. Nothing too steep, but it's you're definitely starting to slope downward. OK, fee, would you like to check for traps? Yeah, that's always a good idea. Fee three. Dungeoneering. Oh, OK. 14. Fee doesn't see anything wrong with this hallway. He doesn't like he's looking around. He doesn't see any pressure plates or trip wires or anything like that. I believe him. OK, let's just say you guys are just looking for marching, marching down this hallway.

The chamber opens up a bit more. And you see a a real large set of double doors in front of you. This particular that doesn't appear to have any anyone in the room. No one's guarding it, but it does look like a big, sturdy door. Somebody want a perception check, like try and press their ear up against the door. That'd be me again, I think. Yeah, I'm guessing you've got pretty high, whatever that is. Singing the self-song. Oh, dear. Maybe you should have sang. So, OK, you're you're marching up to the door first, right? You're you're still thing up to the door.

Yep. So he river dances his way across the hall. So, yeah, 11 is not great to begin with. Fee does not see a trip wire that is rigged in in the center of the room here. And these big, clumpy feet just kind of click this thing. And oh, no. From out of all four of these walls, these poison darts are shooting out. Now, let me roll a 1D4 here first. OK, it's only going to target Fee. OK. Cue Raiders of the Lost Ark music again. Yeah. Acrobatics to try and like dodge them. No. Well, that way he kind of like his stealth roll. No, that's not going to be kind of like and kind of lumbered into this room and just yeah.

So. Yeah, let's let's see if this hits. That is a 12. Oh, I crit one day. That is a 12 to your AC. No, that misses. So miraculously, these poison darts are firing off and like it's almost like you pure lucked into the situation where it's like, oh, shit, I just like these. These awful poison darts are firing all around you and just not one of them even grazes you. You look on the wall, there's this fee sized outline of poison. And after a couple of seconds, it seems like they've they've come to a stop. Fee, are you all right? I think so. It's kind of like checking all over himself.

What happened? Um, bad foot placement. This picture is it's actually his sword dragging behind him to the broadcords, clipping wires all the way across. Will it happen again? No, no, no. Your confidence so bolstering. It's just giving it shit. I don't think your mommy can wipe that off if you take that home. But you're nice about Mrs. Mrs. Fee. Mrs. Fee's mom. Mrs. Fee's mom. So stealthing up to this, well, stealthing is kind of not the word to use at this point, but walking across the room and up to this this big set of double doors, these big, heavy wooden doors.

Um, Fee presses his ear against it, and he can't make anything out. Doesn't doesn't doesn't hear anything. Well, do we push on through this way or do we try and see what's on the other side with the mix of voices? Let's push on. Fuck it. Adventure. Come on. OK, adventure. 9am? No, it's adventure time. Adventure time. Oh, I get it. Fuck off your friends. It's also 9am. So there's a couple of different ways you guys could choose to go through this door. You can use good old brute force, or you can try and there's a locking there's a locking mechanism on it. So you can try and pick the lock and go through all stealthily.

I'm going with that one. Yeah, come on, Fee, pick a lock. If we break it, then we can. Knocking is an option. I believe Fee actually has thieves tools as well, so it gives him another plus two to his thievery check. Oh, awesome. OK, get the right tools for the job. Yep. So it's plus nine and then plus two on top of that. Thievery 28. Nice. Wow. Click you. So Fee bends down and effortlessly picks this lock like after a few seconds of fumbling around, you hear this large click. And then, yeah, this this this door kind of pops open. I'm noticing something about Fee.

He will mar a roll and then ace the next one. He is a slave to chaos and fate. So this door is going to like just pulling this open a bit. You're going to see a large set of stairs leading down. Should we be placing charges at any point? I was just thinking, well, we only have one set of charges. I'm assuming it's not a set of like a series of grenades we can pull off and grab fuses as we run by. It's one big thing. If we know they're underground, wouldn't this be a good place to set the charge? Or at least once we get down toward the end, figure out this is probably a good place for it.

You have a point. The only thing is that we want to make absolutely sure there is no other additional ways in like the like the door that with the people behind it. Right. We'll probably have to deal with that. That might just be one room where it could lead down to more tunnels. Yeah, let's see where this leads. And then right now, we can always come back here and push it to blow up. Exactly. OK. OK. So you guys are descending the stairs. Should we do it? Duncineering? Yes. OK. Yeah. Whoa. OK, I've got two. Can I? Pardon me, guys. Can I step away for just a moment?

No, no. No. That was hilarious. Do you know how disappointed somebody is going to be that we didn't bring our sergeant with us and he gets exploded so we could go, where's your sergeant blown up, sir? That's. That would be a challenge. Just reference stripes. Yeah. Every week you can only you're only allowed to reference stripes like that's going to get more and more and more obscure as time goes on. Right. OK, step away, Merlin. Yes. Go go to the hospital. OK. Dude, we're not serious. Go. I'm not the boss of you. OK, well, I guess I'll piss myself. Sorry, you're going to have to dial 911 without me.

I'm going to stay here. Play Merlin so polite. Next time he calls me DM, I'm going to say, you know, my fucking first name faces Merlin. Come on. It's just staying in character. I know. No, see, that's that's not character because the character was like, excuse me, DM God, I just wanted to disembodied voice telling us where we're going. Yeah, that's nice. Stop for a second. He's so polite. That's good to see that we've still got the running commentary going to and the Twitter feed with the characters. Yeah. I wish I can get on that. But in the middle of a session, it's so tough.

We ever run into trolls, I'm going to have to call them brothers. Sorry for the delay. Oh, you're good. All right. No problem, man. Sorry, it's been three hours now, so. Has it? Oh, yes, it really has. Well, if you need to wrap it up, let me know. No, no, no, no, I'm good. I'm good. I just had to go somewhere else briefly, but now I'm back. You're so polite. Shadow stepped out of his house to another building. That makes it sound like you're a contract killer when you're overly. Oh, I just had to take care of something. Going to throw away these gloves. Yeah. Tonight's the night you start calling in 47.

I don't want to shave my head, though. Oh, there's another strike. Surference. How? Why is it Bill Murray kept his hair and everybody else lost theirs? Hey, yeah, that's a good point. I never thought about that. Actually, Bill Murray. The words like I was already balding. Screw you guys. Now I'm going to think that. Yeah, let's. Yeah. That was my very first question watching that and seeing the haircutting scene for everybody else, John Candy, everybody else getting their head buzzed. But full head of hair. Why? Oh, no, it goes really quick. That's what it is. Every day he wakes up.

They're just like, screw it, dude, whatever. Who's rolling a dungeoneering trick? So I know what the hell you guys are talking about. Look, you should watch that movie. It's old as fuck, but it's funny. It's it's I know it. Apparently, that reference is not going away. So I should just watch it. It's just I think it's on Netflix in 10 years since I watched it. So it's got its awkward moments in it, but it's entertaining. You can you guys can make references to like you can make references. We won't get. Go ahead. It'll be fun. And I made a Bioshock reference that nobody.

Oh, no, I caught that. I caught it. Would you kindly I heard it's just something I say. I'm not trying to. Oh, yeah. That's for Bioshock. I think it's a little like. That's true, that's true. That's actually a great thing for Gavin to say in character when he tells somebody to go hit somebody else, would you kindly look like Pat Lobb's dog? Yes. Wait, why do I feel compelled to do this? A slave obeys. Well, I'm called golf, a dog game again. Who who would like to make a dungeoneering check for me? I got plus two. Think these probably got better. I have plus two as well.

I'm at plus three. Hey, Marcus. It's always I have no idea, but wisdom 22. Twenty two. OK. That's not going away either. All right. Let's see this time. I know it. I've made peace with it. If we make a T-shirt or something, we make some money off that awful joke. Fine. Yes. All of us do great. So leaning down the stairs, there's another set of double doors that already appear to be open now. Also, this kind of leads into a another hallway, but this one's a little roomier, a little space here. So there's lit braziers. And this is this is a little more illuminated than your than your previous the previous bit.

So this looks a little more lived in. The other thing you notice is that there are these stone statues that if you didn't know any better, look like they that they may be part of some sort of trap. Like you've seen this set up before. And they are kind of they're kind of scattered about the hallway on on opposite sides. So here's another thing that is in this. Someone make a perception roll for me, please. Shall I do that? No, no, no, not it. Not it. Yeah. Perception plus five. Thirteen. OK. When you when you kind of flip these doors open. You you you hear people scatter now this you're getting the impression that these these these guys were not ready for you.

Like they didn't they didn't they had no idea that there was anyone here or anything like that. So what's going to happen is you guys go ahead and place your your characters right here and you're going to get a surprise round against these guys because you were quiet enough coming down the stairs that they they didn't hear you. Now, place one here and hold on a second. I got to do this manually now. That sucks. Do we have to do like a dungeoneering or something along those lines every time we pass one of those weird like trip wire slash trap statues?

Um. This would be like, you know what they do, like you have a good idea of what they do, you know, they're a danger. OK. So that that's that's more along the lines of that. Hold on one second. All right. So you guys go ahead and roll Percept not Perception. Go ahead and roll initiative. All right, let's take them apart. Initiative is blank. Think you have to reset it. There you go. Nice. And get rid of fake fee. Yes. There we go. I'm in the double digits for the first time ever. Wow. So you guys come down these stairs, they weren't expected they weren't expecting anybody here.

Usually there's some sort of an alert, some sort of, you know, something would have happened. And then you get past that big ass door very stealthily without kicking it and beating it down. First try fee just kind of like click and it's open. You're completely catching these guys off guard. They're they're not prepared. And you could see them get like as soon as they they they hear you come down the steps like, oh, shit, like everyone's starting to scramble. So if you go ahead, take a turn. OK, Amber's trick. So I actually I have come back once anyway. Why would do is just a ranged basic.

So. Twenty three. Oh, yeah, twenty three. And you're you're shooting for a drought. So one. Yeah, yeah. Straightforward. OK, that'll hit damage. Eleven and sneak 11 said 22. OK. So coming down the stairs, he just launches into him with this attack and it catches him in the chest and kills him. Shit. Amazing. Had no idea that was coming, just like, oh, and down. Beautiful. Good. Gavin, your turn. All right. What I'm going to do is going to do it ranged basic. I have a javelin and I'm going to whip it at number drought scout. Who's that guy down there? Drosco to. All right.

Here we go. Twenty three to strike 23 yet and damage of six. OK, six damage. Anything else? Oh, yeah, I guess I should have done that. Well, that'll friendship. Can we just bring you in a couple of spaces that I imagine she'll want to get a little bit closer? I think. And I'll check that off. That way, I figure your charge will be effective. All right. And my turn to stop. Quick question, the statues and the fire things, can I shoot over those or through them? The statues are kind of tall. The the the braziers are just kind of like waist high, something like that.

The statues are definitely something they did the drought can hide behind, which they kind of are. OK. Unintentionally, but yeah. One, two, three, I have shadow step now. And then I will use first I will curse. Oh, yeah. Curse scout number two. OK. And then I will die or radiance him. There's that. 13 against the sword dude. Mm hmm. That'll miss. All right. That'll end my turn. OK. Oh, no, your turn. OK. 14 of his fortitude. I'm sorry, I don't mean to interrupt. You have prime strike. Actually, if Jadzia had moved right here, she'd get a plus one bonus because she's the closest to the target.

It's a warlock. Really? Yes, really. Prime strike, I think it's under your details. Prime shot. You're right. Prime shot. Yeah. And theoretically, I think I might I was muted when you were moving, but I wanted you to actually move right up here because it'll still give you a good angled shot to here. Jason, would you allow that or? Um, going the next I mean, this is like that's kind of the turns over. But yeah, perhaps stupid. Yeah. Mute is bothering me. I think your thing going and I was like, what? Who's just pointing at that square? And so that question. Can I charge like up and then die?

Well, I guess I wouldn't have to really. Um, OK, just kidding. I'm going to charge and then I've got this cool thing with ardent strike where I can use it as my charge attack. OK, I guess I'll charge up here and then swing at drown number two. OK. As you run past the first set of statues. Oh, shit, forgot about that. Oops. Well, um, both of them are kind of they're going to kind of shoot these jets of flame flame jets. This is going to be 20 plus seven to your reflex, eleven to your reflex. That's going to miss. OK, so you are going to just dodge these these these jets of searing flame.

That's going to look so cool. So you are you are you're charging at. OK, you're charging at this drought. The flame jets miss you and you hit him with the strike. Oh, yeah. OK, damage, 12 damage and 12 damage gorgeous. And then he's got my divine sanction on him. OK, anything else? I'm just going to grin and then return Marcus your turn. I don't really feel like roasted Marcus should be on the menu today, but going to get past these statues, don't we? About standing right up here and throwing down a astral seal. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, I was trying to figure out where I could stand to actually hit him with it.

So I'm thinking right here. Yeah, we'll take a chance. Awesome. And astral seal on Drosko number two, 18, 18, solid. So he's a minus two and the next person gets hit points. All right. Anyone, if you want on your turn, you can use a standard action and do a check on the statues themselves. A dungeoneering check. Just a thought. Oh, can I do that on my way past since I only use the Nat Will? It's a stand without. Yeah, it's a standard. OK. So, OK. Damn. OK, here's what's going to happen. One, two, three, four, bam. OK. OK, Jirao Garroter. Guess what he does? He garrots.

He does. Spoilers. He is he sneaks up behind Una. And he is going to try and choke her with a garrotte wire. Fun. I love neck scars. 20 versus reflex. Oh, yeah, that'll kill me. OK, so he kind of definitely gets up behind you and just like whips this garrotte wire around your neck and starts choking. Does he trigger the little flame thing? Oh, he will. Jeez. Yeah, you're right. Because that'd be funny. So, OK, let's OK, let's handle this. And so in his haste to try and get a sneak attack against you, 14 damage and you're grabbed. OK. You're grabbed until the end of his next turn.

OK. But he can sustain that if you want to do so, it's 14 damage this. OK, he's still. That's 13 to his reflex, which will miss. OK. So the flame jet also misses him. So this is more of a nuisance, it seems, than an actual danger. Um, so let's make sure you are grabbed. Can I still attack if I'm grabbed? Um, you can attack if you grab. Yeah. But, uh, yeah, you can't move. And what we mean is a you're mobilized, I believe. Yeah, I'm mobilized. That's basically what it is. Yeah. OK. Didn't he pass two of the statues, technically? Oh, yeah. I'm not sure. You know, you're right.

And he's actually standing directly in front of one. He is. 18 versus. OK. In his haste, once again. In his haste, he's like, I'm going to get this bitch. And he just comes up behind and he does good for him. And his back is going to be seared by this. This this this flame jet here. Take the pain. So that's five damage and five ongoing damage till save ends. Yeah, five ongoing. Yeah. So, OK. Um, Fi, your turn. Okie dokie. If I go for the Garotha with a ranged attack, is there is only chance of me hitting Una? No, no, no, no, no. You should be fine. Okie dokie. Well, uh, Ambush.

Unless you crit miss, let's say. Yeah. OK. Ambush trick up to here and then a range basic attack against Drogorotha. Oh, 11, including combat advantage. Oh, yeah, that's going to miss. That's it, I think. OK, so number two, uh, let's see here. Number two is going to. Damn, OK. I like how all their traps are working against them, all their narrow hallways, just like, oh, fuck, yeah. Well, it kind of works best if you don't get the drop on them. That's kind of. So, yeah, he's going to shift over one and end his turn. Gavin, your turn. My name's Gavin. All right. Yes, I am.

I'm going to throw. Well, let's see. I was real quick. Marcus, you got Una. Sure. All right. That's best I can. You're a lot better healer than I am. So, you know, it makes sense. I'm going to step forward with right here and I'm going to lay down a commander strike. Not on my apologies. My apologies. One, two, three, four. Will you stand here? No, I was at one. Oh, you know, it's fine. And I'm going to throw down commander strike, asking you to basically hit that guy, you're crapping you. Yeah, just really basic. 15 versus AC. So I picture Una because you're facing away from obviously he's choking you from behind, so I'm picturing like in a desperate attempt, like she like flicks her weapon back over her head, trying to hit him in the fucking head.

That's against AC. That's going to miss it. 16 because of a speedy. It's going to miss. OK, so he's like dodging his head like, oh, oh, oh, oh. Does that include combat advantage? With Marcus? That's right. That's true. That would be that'll hit. Thank you. Excellent. Thank you for your hot cat. Cat added. OK, next damage. Another plus three for my intelligence. So nine. So go ahead and roll damage areas. I did it six. Oh, geez. OK, six. So at another three and you said another three. So now. All right. Cool, cool, cool. Well, right now, my turn is done. Everybody rocks.

All righty. Drow scout number two. Well, OK, he's got combat advantage. So why not use that? He's going to make a dual weapon attack, seeing that Una's vulnerable. So long sword first. 21 versus AC. Yeah. Short sword. 25 versus AC. Oh, shit, guys. Bye. Oh, so. OK, first, the long sword damage. Cinematically, that was super cool to watch, though. You know, it's got to hide and then just fall. Nine damage. And 10 damage. OK, I'm dead. She's down, not dead. Yeah, OK, well, I'm down and bleeding severely. The drought, the drought behind just going to loosen his grip and like, OK, and just kind of let you slump to the floor.

Oh, my neck like hurts just thinking about that. Yeah, that's that's awful. That's going to be a terrible way to go out. Yeah, seriously. Jadzia, your turn. All right. I am going to warlock curse, garauder number one. And then I'm going to use diabolic grasp against him. 14 against his fortitude. That's going to miss. I'm going to use heroic effort. Yes, that'll hit. All right. It's going to be 13 damage. OK. That's the one if he moves any closer, he takes more damage. No, but I get to slide him two squares. Oh, slide it down one and back up one and trigger two more traps.

Yes. How do I do that? Someone show me. And yada him. It's like here and then here. Can I do that? I'll allow it. Oh, it's true. So that means that the this. This this this is going to take another attack that will miss, though. But just him being bounced around like like your warlock powers bouncing him around and like flame jets are going off. Like it's narrowly missing him. Darling him. Hey, Jadzia, you may want to use your action point and then do that one power that does, you know, if he advances, then he takes damage. That is a good idea. So I am going to use my action point and get another plus one bonus to strike.

Hold on. He doesn't have to advance. He's got two targets right next to him. So him moving anywhere is going to do anything. He's not going to I mean, he's got me and he's got Gavin right there to take a shot at. But she also could theoretically kill him. Yeah, that's fine. Maybe I could just use not well. So you want to pop an action point? Yes. OK. And I might as well. I'll use dire radiance because that is the one that does that. And if he does move any closer, then there we go. Da da da. 25 crit. That's critical. Crit. So that's going to be 17 damage. And he dies.

That's what you get. He dies a smoldering corpse. Una saved me before. Jadzia you got my back. Speaking of which, Una, you're on the ground. You want to make a saving throw? Yes, let's do that. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Don't worry. Don't worry. That's an awful feeling, isn't it? Um, dude. Blood just gushing out of all the wounds. Um, wow. OK. Uh, let's see here. Drow scout number three is going to take out his bow. And he is going to fire down the hallway at Gavin. 19 versus reflex. That's going to hit. I did throw a spear in his chest.

And 12 damage. All right. And that will bring up Marcus. I see a healing word in Una's future. So here you go. Have a healing word. The healing word today is surprise. Have nine health for me, plus a healing surge. Fuck yeah. Thank you so much. No need to thank me, man. It's just my job. Oh, shit. I have a negative five. Yeah, but you're back up a bit. And I think that's it for my turn. She should no longer be. Una, you probably are not immobilized anymore since you no longer have that piano or a necktie. Yeah, there's no there's you are not grabbed in any way. Marcus, you only slapped down an astral seal since you still have the ability to do that.

Oh, OK. We can do the check on the statue. That was not the option. Yeah. Why don't I do a check on the statue since I'm standing right next to it? You said that was done engineering? Yep. So eight. It's a statue, guys. There's something bad about it, but I don't know what. Yeah, you're not going to gleam a whole lot from that. That's you're guessing there's a way to turn these off in some fashion, but you don't know how. Fi, your turn. Okie dokie. OK, I'm just going to move up again with Amber's trick and then arranged on Drow Scout three. Una would be in the way now.

Well, no, she's still laying down. Go ahead. Three. Oh, I'm retarded. Go ahead. Yes, that's right. Again, ignore me. OK, so. Twenty five. That'll hit. Damage seven and sneak seven, fourteen, fourteen damage. Very nice. Very, very nice. So you fire that down the hallway and he takes it the shoulder. Oh, you son of a bitch. Anything else you want to do? No, that's it. OK, here's what's going to happen. The second grotter that's down the hall, he's had enough of this. He is going to barrel towards the end of the hall here and just make a charge. And it looks like he's trying to go for his body, even though she's on the ground, he's like her eyes popped up.

It's like, no, fuck that. Yeah. So he is going to sprint past both of these, both of these statues, and they're both going to take. That's a 24, so that hits 60. Yeah, so both. Well, no, one of these will hit one of those. So, yeah, he is burned for eight damage and then he takes five on going. So one of these streaming jets of fire got him. So not great, but he is going to make a long sword attack against Una. He is trying to flat out execute her. Cool. That's cool. 15. Nope. I believe you get a negative two because you're lying down. Oh, still no. That's easy.

Oh, that is easy. And no, and it's plus one for charging. But yeah, even so, you're right. Even so too burly. You're good. You're off. You're just wearing tank armor, just played is great. Yeah. Gavin, your turn. All right. I'll go ahead and do a inspiring word on myself. I get my hit points back plus an additional five. I did actually get bloody from that one hit. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Your search. That was pretty monstrous. All right. I'm no longer bloody. Get it together, man. All right. And next, I'm going to need to I'm going to have to move up and through this fire.

We do it. I guess don't do it. Yeah, my check is not going to go well, so you're grabbing me again. Yeah. Oh, there I go. I just want to be free. That's that's what it's all about. Don't we still be all pretty? Exactly. I envy him. All right. So I'll go ahead and take that strike, please. Or attempt to statue will try to burn me. 18 versus reflex. I believe that does hit me. Yes, it does. OK, and six damage and five ongoing. Six and five ongoing. Got it. Just to get points now. All right. I'm not bloody, thankfully. All right. So we need to bring the drug out. Garada down.

I'm going to use my intuitive strike to debuff him. OK, looking at a total of twenty two attack strike. That'll hit do a damage of just a measly one, but at least he has a minus four to be hit by the next ally who attacks. Yes, I think so. All the bonus like have that just sort of stab him in the leg and hold him fast and just look at him like you and me. While we're both on fire, because that's pretty. Drow scout number two is going to look right over at the the garage and the garage is going to like not at him. The Drow scouts going to raise his sword above his head and he is going to try and plunge it into his body.

I'm I'm still on the ground. These are assholes. Yes, they are. Yeah, they're kind of. Pale like this. Ah, twenty five. It's a crit. Was it a crit? No, not quite. Oh, it's good. Jesus, if that was the wrong thing, I was so scared. Just don't kill me with this one. Thirteen damage. OK, I can take that. That'll reduce you to three points. And still, that's kind of rare. They're trying to flat out execute you. They're just trying to capitalize on a weakness like, no, no, no, we got to kill this bitch. She's she's tough. It's rude they called you a bitch. I think it's twice that it's a bit of a bitch, though.

It's OK. Jettzia, your turn. All right. And then move right where Gavin was. I gain concealment. Going to warlock curse water number two. Going to activate my Hellfire touch. And then I'm going to use flames of Legithos against him. Twenty. Twenty to reflexo hit. All right. Plus that. And then also that. Jettzia, I love you. Twenty five. Good fuck. Unleash the beast. So don't fuck with Luna. She caught me. This this drow is going to burst into flames and the fire so intense that it just it melts his skin clean off like this is like this is you're melted in the face.

This is this is like this brilliant flash and just like, oh, and just seconds later, he's on the ground just just awful, awful, awful. Close your eyes. Don't look. Don't look. Ravis, the lost art. Nightmares. Yeah. Um, is that it for Jettzia? Flaming drow. That's just fabulous. Yeah, I think so. And then that's it. Luna, OK, you're on the ground. I'm going to spend my move action to get up. OK. And then I'm going to. Shit. Well, fuck it. OK, I'm going to valorous might draw Scout number two. And you get a plus four to hit. Beautiful. OK. Seventeen versus AC and then plus the that'll hit damage.

Twelve. Nice. OK. Twelve damage. Boom. You bloodied him. Fuck yeah. And should I lay my hands on myself? That thing? Well. Yeah, you probably should, because if Drow scout three shoots you, I'm bringing you back from the dead and you're falling back down again. Yeah. OK, so then I'll just kind of grip myself a little bit and he'll squeeze my butt like fee. Yeah, OK. Just say he likes her. Perfect. All right. And that'll bring up Drow Scout number three. He's going to take out his bow and fire down the hallway at. Uh, yeah. That's the best. Um, yeah, down the hallway at Una and nine.

OK, totally, totally miss. Arrow goes wide. Oh, my God. Marcus, your turn. How about another healing word? The last of the day for Una. She's yeah, you're still fighting. I think I'm OK. We are. So you should always the healing word. I think we might. I disagree. I think she needs to be held up. I don't know. I've got a bunch of healing searches. Yeah, but you've got only I mean, fee and Gavin are the only two that can hit Drow Scout three before or two before you get to heal again. So thinking keeping you healthy right now is probably the better idea. OK, that's fine.

All right. Eleven plus your healing surge. Oh, my God, that's beautiful. That's going to bring me full health. Excellent. And that's done. So then I'll go to astral seal, Drow Scout two or three. See initiative order look like who's going after you. Two will be next. So once you drop number three so that he can get a better shot. OK, astral seal on Drow Scout three. Nope. No, that's a crit. Now. No, no, no, no, no, no. All right. I'm going to sit here and admire the intricate carvings on the statue again. Why not? Fee your turn. OK, I was tricked to get combat advantage against our three and then just arranged.

Twenty six. I hate this guy, but I don't think anyone's taken their five fire damage. I hate it. I'm sorry. My turn hasn't come around again. Yeah, that's true. Actually, the only one alive right now that has ongoing. OK, the drought, the the garada was the only one he burst into flames and died anyway, so he's taken enough fire damage. So thank you for, you know, popping in on that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, yeah, I think damage. Hmm. And anything else? Um. I think that's everything. My backstab can't reach him. And Gavin, now you take my damage. Yes. I'm going to go ahead and counter that with a healing search.

Start with actually, no, not healing search. My apologies. I was getting second wind or whatever. Instead, I'm going to use my last inspiring word on myself. Use a surge and roll six. That's pretty solid. All right. I just my HP, so I'm doing a lot better. I burned and then I recovered. And I'm going to move here down to the drought scout number two, and I'm going to use my commander strike and have Una beat the living crap out of him. Yeah. OK. Would you kindly think I have 20? Thank you. That was nice. That'll totally hit. Damage six plus three. That will kill the drought.

Yeah. High five, Gavin. Yeah. Hat tip. Anything else? Oh, that will do it. That'll end my turn. And Jadzia, your turn. Wow. Can't really hit the last drought because everyone's in front of me. So I guess I'll go and look at the statue and do that, just because I won't be able to pass even if even when the combat's over. I'm holding explosives, so I probably shouldn't pass by the. Give me a dungeoneering check. OK. Natural 20. Wow. Beautiful. Jadzia doesn't understand what all the fuss is about. She noticed it right away. There's there's there's a little switch on each one of these that that allows you to to shut off the mechanism that would spout fire once once something passes in front of it.

She she doesn't understand. Yeah. So you could do that as a minor action. All right. I will flick the switch on that one. All right. So bam, those two, the ones directly in front of the rest of the party cut off in front of Marcus and Fi are there. They're off. Just Jesse, what are you doing over there? Flipping the switch. What now? You know, they would have no idea. You know, turn it off like it's the most obvious thing in the world. Yeah, like someone saying the world is like anybody can do it. Easiest thing in the world. Una, your turn. OK, let's try out this new wind furious thing.

Can I fly over the fire? Yes. Perfect. OK, I'm going to have to end up in the fire, but still bad ass. So I'm going to like leap up with fucking storm fury, badass or circling around me or whatever. Actually, you may I may I suggest something before you do that? OK, so your storm fury is that's a move action, is that correct? I think it's kind of like a charge. OK, then what I might recommend is go ahead and make your move action to move right here to start with. And then use your standard burn that out as a move, because you get that whole strike at the end of it as part of the charge attack, as it were.

And then end your turn right over here. Since you're flying, no, no opportunity attack. Beautiful. OK. Yeah. So that way you get six movement instead of your standard five. Fuck yeah. Thank you. OK, got it. Let's do that. So I'm going to fucking fly over these things. Bring the pain. And next to him and oh man, make my attack 16 versus what AC AC battle hit. Yes. Thank God. It would have been so kind of pathetic if it didn't. What do you look like when you do that? I imagine like sparks and like wind and shit. So this is incredibly shocking. This draw is like it's like, OK, big armored tanky plate.

Oh, she's in the air. All right. That's that's new. And then I imagine you're just coming down with your hammer on this guy's fucking head or try. So that hits and damages ten. You cave his fucking skull. Oh, yes. Yeah. Done. So that's kind of the portrait of bad ass. Right. That's that's that's pretty cool. That'll take you guys out of combat. You are you are you are totally out. Um, we're a lot healthier this time. Yeah. Yeah. Like you're you're you're pulling it together. Um, uh, let me see here. Someone give me a perception roll. I don't care who it is. Should I do?

Yes, please. Plus five. So twenty five. Correct. 120. He sees all. Based on everything you're seeing, based on how vehemently they're trying to defend this, this portion, based on the traps, based on everything. You would say that this would most likely be the the central funneling area where they're coming up from the underground on the other side of this door. And they they're either living in this complex or guarding it. And that's how they're getting out of that hole. Let's blow the charges, guys. They sounds like we found a place to put the charges. Now, we put the charges over here and then set the traps back up on the way out.

Yeah, there's a there's another set of big double doors on the other side here. But that looks like a structure like right in that doorway. Looks like a pretty structurally like weak point. OK, first things, guys, set the trap. Let's have Jesse show us how to turn these traps off so we don't roast ourselves going through. Yeah. Second, let's loot these bodies, get what we can from them and then start looking to set the traps and get out. That's how how how long, how how long in time or how far away do you have to be to set off the explosives? Well, this is a fuse you're lighting.

So this is yeah, you'll you'll have well, the sergeant never actually briefed you on that. Which may have just been carelessness on his part, or maybe he didn't maybe he doesn't want you to know how long you have. Can we shoot an arrow at it from a distance or something like that? Like a flaming arrow? So drag? Yeah, sure. Oh, Jesse has got the flamethrower of June that she fires off. She could set it from there and in step five. Well, that's a daily. Oh, OK. One thing I'll say is the difference between lighting a fuse and firing something at it is the fuse gives you some time.

If you if you hit this thing and it goes off, then it's instant. That's the difference. Well, I I'm not sure speed actually factors in if we're not in combat, but I am the fastest. So you just need to be faster than everyone else. That's all that's. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm not. It's not. Yeah, we're not going to do this turn by turn. You're going to light the fuse and then run and we'll see what happens then. All right. Let's look at the bodies, guys. Right. Do we find anything? You find another 20 gold this time. And no real no real weapons or anything of value.

I don't know, I kind of want to draw shirts or just as a trophy item. You can have that. Oh, that sounds right. That was a that was a young justice reference. So nice. That was Kid Flash, right? Yeah. Yes, I miss you. I would also take a pair of their weapons because I'm, you know, intrigued by them. That makes sense. On on one of the drow, you find this this really curious item and it looks like like a like a really like a really like tiny pair of slacks. Like like like for a child. Oh, I was just saying, did we find fees, spare pair of pants for bridge crossing?

Um, seriously, we try putting them on. Now, these are these are like tiny. These are like for a child, like these are the ones that that sucks. Probably. OK, but burn them. Fuck it. No, let's take them with us because somebody might know something back. Yeah, that's true. We can do a little bit more looking at that. At these pants. Just staring at the pants on a table. Tell me your secret. Take them to a tailor, have them let out a little bit. These are perfectly good slacks, guys. I don't know. I'm not wasteful. We'll go through town pulling a Cinderella. Do these slacks fit?

That's number six in our party. Um, take their shoes. Yeah. So John Cena is going to go up to the statues and be like, hey, guys, you see these things, these big switch looking things? Those are switches. Dumb fucks. So all these statues, you've cleared up this area. The doorway on the other side. What would you what would you like to do with the door itself? You want to listen at it first? Oh, yeah. That's it. Is it already locked? It doesn't appear. Lock picket. It doesn't appear to be it doesn't appear to be locked from your from from your vantage point. Is there such a thing as reverse lock picking?

Lock it from outside and get stuck. Can we blow it up? I mean, if you're putting the charges statues in front of it. These are pretty these are pretty heavy. I mean, OK, what are you trying to do here? Because if you're setting off the charges here, barricading the door is kind of senseless. Yeah, I guess because the entire point is to drop this into like you're you're trying to bury this whole thing, like bring down this whole little cavern. Yeah. Well, I figure if someone comes out that door and they can just like cut the thing like on old cartoons. Ah, that's what I said.

Why doesn't he go up there, stick his ear next to it? And hopefully he's not river dancing across the room before he gets to it. Make a stealth rule. OK, stealth. 22. Oh, that's gorgeous. So he is the he's the only one who's going to hear this, but he is going to stealth up to this door and press his ear against it. And on the other side of it, it sounds like a lot of children. Fuck. Oh, we just fucking destroyed a daycare, guys. Not yet. The caroters haven't locked anything. Nursery teachers. It sounds like it sounds like kind of children kind of squealing, playing that kind of thing.

And they're they're they're on the other side of this. They're definitely on the other side of this door. Now, he's the only one who has heard this, of course. So he hates elves. Oh, fuck. Oh, yeah. We're dead. What what language? Well, they'd be I mean, it'd be Elvin, I guess. It's basically Elvin slang. I didn't know if by chance they were actually working human children or whatever. But anyway. Oh, this is definitely Elvin. Oh, this turns around, guys. It sounds like there's a dragon in there. You got to see and like, what is it? You know, what are you here?

Um, oh, God. Yeah, I, I, I'm just going to harness my deep rooted, rooted hatred for elves and just go. Yes. Yes. This door. Are you attacking me with your bluff? Uh, well, I mean, there's yeah, I guess you'd be bluffing. I mean, they're really. Yeah. So, yeah, you're bluffing. Not if you said nothing worth anything or nothing worth saving. Oh, technically it's just a yes. It's this door we have trapped trial behind this door. It's just that's not a lie. That's true. Oh, God. All right. Let's set the charges. And there's no way I'd go against his perception because, you know, he's he's he's the man.

Yeah. You've deferred to his knowledge on that skill check. So will they die if we collapse the door? This will take out a huge like this. This blast would take out this entire hallway on this side. And like that, like this is meant to blow the fuck up and then bury in rubble whatever isn't blown up. So this is like it's not meant to be a minor hindrance. Someone can dig through this in an hour or two. This would be a major project. So, yeah, that's it's just meant to keep them from coming back up. At least from the worst for our human relations. So you're you guys are setting the charges?

Oh, absolutely. Yeah. Yes. With the information that I have. Yes. OK. I don't know this character. Just get on this side of the. No, I think we want to be back here, guys. As far as well. Now, hold on. For real. I was being realistic and I was like, OK, I'm going to go set the traps. Put me here for a second. I'm going to move back. So Jet C is going to set these charges up in the doorway here and you're lighting the fuse, right? Yes. Oh, walking away. You guys. Well, you'd be running. Yeah. Uh huh. You guys are here's here's what we're going to do. I'm going to ask each one of you.

Ding dong. Ding dong. I'm going to ask each one of you to make an athletics check for me, please. Now, here's the way this works. Sure. This is just common everyday running. Nothing too crazy about this. As long as none of you shit the bed too bad with with a roll, then you won't have a problem. I'll stick close to Una because I remember her athletics is a little rough. Or is it athletics? I'm sorry. I was saying acrobatics, my legs is minus four. Yeah. So each one of you give me an acrobatics roll. Oh, shit. Wait a minute. Did you say acrobatics or athletics? I'm sorry.

Athletics. Athletics. Yeah. Yes, I'm going to try with my twenty two. Can I grab somebody on the way? Oh my God. Oh goodness. If they fall on my face, we are going to be dubbed the suicide squad from this point forward. Oh, I did not see that coming. All right. Well played, Dice. This is 100 percent calmer, I think. Yeah, this may be OK. Let me describe the scene to everyone at home. This OK, the fuse is lit on this major set of explosives you've been carrying. You're watching the fuse dwindle away as it gets closer and closer to the set of explosives. You all take off running down this corridor.

Three of you trip and fall. Marcus is the first to go down. I tripping over. Wow. Yeah, Jesus Christ tripping over his own feet. Apparently, Una is the next to go down. And then we have Fi who trips over his own feet and falls to the ground. And here's the thing. You don't know how long you have. So the two of you who are left standing have a choice to make. Do you go back and help your teammates? No, if so, I grab Marcus. Hold on a second. If if you do choose to go back, I wanted to know who like, who are you picking up? And OK, so so Gavin is staying behind to help out Marcus.

So the three of you have tripped and you're I mean, you can't help but notice Gavin selectively ran back and picked Marcus up. Pragmatism, he's a healer. Jadzia, are you going to run back and help one of your teammates? And if so, who? Fi, he's more pretty. OK, thank you. Una, because you know, well, Fi is very light. Una's got a lot of hit points. Una's going to be OK. Yes. And Fi is very light and she's not very strong. Um, wow. OK, so just pure panic sets into the group after after this happens. And Una has how many hit points? OK. Fi, Marcus, Gavin and Jadzia all make it to the other end of the corridor.

Uh, I'm going back for after I'm going to drop Marcus at midpoint and go back for Una. So you're going to go? No, no. No, we're not leaving anybody behind. Yeah, as I'm running, as I'm like, yeah, that's what I picture. We're both yelling at each other. I'm not leaving you behind. Yell at him all you want. He hasn't listened yet. Yeah. It's true. Low wisdom score. Do me a favor. Una, make another athletics check. Come on. And I poop myself. Herogefort, poop yourself really good. Can I hero get through? Um, no, no, no, you can't. I don't want to check. So Una kind of scrambles to her feet for a few steps and then falls back down as she's just trying to scramble.

It's just pure panic. And the entire time you're hearing the hiss of this, this this fuse go off, just you, you, you don't you don't have any idea how long you have with this. So OK, Gavin, you're making the decision to go back for Una just to be clear. OK, make an athletics check, please, to see how quickly you would make it down to the hallway. 20. OK, you race back down the hallway and you you kind of scoop her up and help her back onto the feet. Don't hit me in the stomach this time. Um, you're about halfway through. You're about halfway into the hallway here.

Mm hmm. And that's when the the fuse stops and the bomb goes off behind you. This is a massive explosion that rips the doors off their hinges and kind of flicks them backwards like ninja stars into the other room. Um, and let me see here. Each one of you make a perception roll, please. This is just for flavor. Oh, no. 20. OK, six. Six. That's totally me, too, because oh, my God, Zia doesn't notice she's still in the hall. Well, wait, wait, wait. That's not a wow. That is a perception. OK, so, yeah. Um, Marcus. Yes. OK, Marcus Una. Oh, wait. No, I rolled a 15. Just kidding.

Oh, yeah. Marcus. Yeah, Marcus Una and Fi over the sounds of the explosion. It there's a very distinct noise for maybe a second or two, and it sounds like a horde of children screaming. Oh, my God. Just panic and fear. Um, and these explodes. So just after that, this explosion rips through the rest of this hallway. So what is going to happen here is you're going to make against Una first. That's a 17 versus your AC. Yes. And then Gavin, 18 versus your AC. 18 versus armor class 19. So I bring up the shield. It is going to flick you down the hallway, either way, like like you guys, you guys have your shields up.

You're not taking any damage, but it will kind of propel you into the hallway. A bit just the force of this. And that is when the entirety of the ceiling starts to cave in. So I'm imagining you're you're just you're on the move at this point. Just just back down the hallway, back up the stairs. And you can hear just the ceiling collapse behind you like and it seems to go on forever. Um, and making your way up the stairs as quickly as possible. It's just this flood of of debris and dust, like like it beats you up the stairs. Like it blinds you pretty much.

It's it's this cloud of just awful. And that entire corridor is sealed off along with whatever may have happened on the other side of the doors. So you guys, you guys have you've accomplished your mission. That was what you were set out to do. Feel free to hit me now that we're out of there. OK, I just like angle my jaw, you know. I want to make it canon that the reason that Jodzia didn't see anything with that one perception is because cool people don't look at explosions. Yeah, sure that. OK, I'm definitely like slam against the wall and ask him what was on the other side of that door.

What the hell? I'm just going to look at it and go. There were drought on the other side of that door. Our mission was to destroy the the drought entrance. That's what we've done. OK, I'm going to spit on his face and then drop him. Wow. You can't fucking kill kids, dude. We all know those were kids. If so, they were future soldiers who would have been in a war. And they are less erases at that. But I believe what did I miss? We don't know just the perception there. So they were children on the other side of that door, Gavin. There were what children based on what the screaming?

I didn't hear anything. I was too busy. Listening to an explosion. Busy being told not to go back. Force of a blast would have killed Una. OK, I'm going to pat you on the shoulder and like say thank you. Of course, that that's beyond it, that we're not leaving anybody behind ever. But what's this whole thing about children? See, they were traveling the other side. We've done our job. Time to go home. You know, you're decidedly cold about this. I I have a history with with elves. I don't like them. And it's part of our job to do this. So we've done it. You're right.

I'm I'm I'm just going to. Start to to walk. I don't know. I don't know if I'm in front of them or behind them, but I'm just going to start to to carry on back up the stairs and passage. Yeah, I'll call out to Phe. Look, I've never questioned you. Any time you've brought anybody low per my command or per your own safety. Do not let your vendetta be a situation in the future. What's done is done. We can't walk around. We can't do anything on this. We had orders. This is true. And it appears we've done our job fairly well so far. Let's go back and disappoint the sergeant some more.

That's the only thing I can take away from this. That's going to be bring me joy. All right. Before we leave the cavern, Judge is just going to catch you in his arm and kind of pull her aside. I know that it's painful to see children die, but I can tell you from experience, even if they seem innocent now, they don't belong in this world. You know that. And so do I. We did them a service. They whether you believe in an afterlife or not. At least they're where they belong. They won't have to feel like they don't anymore. And then she's just going to pat on the back.

OK. I'm just going to like nod very curtly, but like I get what she's talking about and it's OK. I figure I'm side by side by Marcus and Kevin, I'll look over and go. This doesn't make any sense. Why? Why would they have been there? It's someone's home, Gavin. That's why they were there. Doesn't make any sense. Let's go. Yeah, I'm following. See, back up. We're done here. Yeah, let's let's go home. So you guys are making your way back to the city, I imagine. And once we want to stop and investigate the door and see if they came charging out to see what blew up.

Oh, God, I think we're done here. Yeah. Yeah. I think it's time to get back. I'd say that's a pretty good time to stop for the day. Probably a good idea. Yeah. We think great game. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, you guys, you guys murder children. All right. We're done being the cute little underdogs. It's a very common sense. Yeah. Wait for the next batch of emails to come in, Jason. There won't be any. Wow, I'm really pulling for these guys now. Well, most of you didn't know. It's true. Well, we didn't know when the explosion went off, that's for sure. No, no, no, no, no.

And you're real broken up about it. I mean, like it's not something you would have like if it were an option on the table, like shoot this kid in the face like it probably, you know, probably wouldn't throw a fireball at these children running away. No, you do know, Jason, all of them are going to be like, fuck you, Jason. Fuck you. And oh, no, dude, we don't care how gorgeous fee is now. We hate him. Jason, that really great job on DMing that man. That's that's an interesting subject. And yeah, that's I told you, I'm going to find the line. I'm going to find where you would cut it off because it's it's really easy on paper to say, oh, fuck them heathen races, blah, blah, blah, blah.

And then you're going to get into increasingly more. It's like, oh, I didn't think like it's easy to say it. And then like, OK, well, kill this kid. Like just like openly. It's like, oh, he's just he's scumbag. Kill him. Just he's the dwarf kid. I mean, who wants a dwarf kid, right? Just it's fine. They're minions. Right. It's yeah. One hit kill. So I mean, yeah, we're going to we're going to find that line. I'm going to we're down there with with that technically go on my night for kills. Oh, it's a room full of children for the whole batch of them. Yeah, I'm going to have to set the bomb.

Yeah. Oh, God, you're right. Technically, that would be Jesse is not that on his chart. That if anyone wants to take credit for it. Room full of children. I just like the image of those big doors, like flicking off like ninja stars and just like total anarchy on the other side of that door. God, that is awful. I just think about the shield block, the dual shield block. Pretty cool, though, being blown back and sliding. Oh, dude, yes, that there's some bad ass little moments of the explosion. I thought someone was going to die just then. I was pretty sure that was like three of you fall.

It's like, oh, shit, there's oh, yeah, that was awful, but awesome. I was imagining a situation where one of you falls and it's like, OK, do you go back for him or not? And that's three of you fellas like, oh, shit, it's not even a who most of our party just goes, yeah, let's stop here. No, punk. Everyone do the block. You guys did great, though. That was awesome. That was that was a great game. Teamwork works well. Yes. Now we just got to go back and face the consequences of disappointing our sergeant again. Sorry, we have that will get increasingly more interesting.

God, I'm remembering a set from Command and Conquer. You keep pissing him off when you're doing the non missions. Oh, wow. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. From from God to Cain to Seth. I am his right hand man. God, the acting of it was so bad. It was terrible. Oh. Well, let's be honest, most acting in video games isn't very good. I know, but this is like 90. Yeah, I know. Yeah. Go back to the the Wing Commander days when you've got Luke Skywalker playing a part in one of the roles and it's still. Oh, yeah, that was Wing Commander three. Yep, it was. It was. Wow, that's I think the goal is to just spit out references that that that both Brianna and Izzy are not going to get.

That's the goal. And I get any more of them. I thought I thought you're picking up some of this cat. I'm sorry. I was thinking that fucking old man. Jeez. Hanging out with you, Scott. It's making me feel old. I got to be honest. Sorry, I just don't want me feel any younger hanging out with this group. I mean, like every time you toss something out, it's like, yeah, I knew that. It's like, Jesus, there's there's it's all overlap. You're not mentioning anything I don't get. Supplies. I mean, what do you want me to do? Start pulling out, you know, Red Fox and Sanford and Sun references?

No, no, no. Hold on. Hold on. Did you just reference UHF? Yep. God damn it. Love this group. Fuck. Fuckin love this group too. Yeah. Looks like they're going to. So like that group behind the wall might need to drink from a fire hose. Open wide. We're we're totally you know, I can't like it's get to the point where it's like, oh, man, I can't wait to see like I'm going to keep throwing different things at you. I'm going to keep like approaching you from different angles. I want to see. We're ready. I have no doubt. It's not even a survival thing. I'm just talking about the kind of decisions like so your your group would.

It's it's not even like you're thinking of it because Carter's not open with his like he's open with his disdain of the lesser races and whatever. But that's because, well, he sees them as attackers and that's the picture he's painting and the entire it's like, I want to live in a safer area. So that'll happen as soon as we get rid of all those other things. So that's what he's pitching to you guys. You guys are just this you're just in the army. You're you're in for your city. Like it's not it's not a vendetta necessarily for you. It's not something you are taking up arms specifically.

You're just tasked with these different things. Some of us like some of us. But like anybody in the military, your goal is to move up the chain. To do that, you're going to have to impress people above you. And to do that, you're going to have to do whatever they ask you to do. And if at all possible, kind of shoot a little higher. Like it's like, oh, they asked us to do this. What if we take up this whole thing or something? Seize expectations. Right. And yeah, there there's going to be complications, man. I'm going to tell some awful, awful things that you like.

It may advance you up the chain a little faster or. They have nothing else. It'll be fun to role play. Yeah. Oh, it may just be horrible.
