I am playing Marcus Santa, the human cleric. - And Bri. - Hi there, I'm Brianna and I'm going to be playing Jodzia Grace, the human warlock. - And Kat. - Hi, I'm Kat Charlie. I play Thi, the Changeling thief.

- And Izzy. - Hi, I'm Izzy and I play Una, the half elf paladin. Okay, so last and certainly not least, we're introducing Jen to the show. - Hello, my name's Jen and I'm new to group three. - See, that's plain it coy, I like that. You didn't tell them what character you played. That's smart. - Well, no, they gotta listen to find out. - Good, good, good. So stuff happened on the last episode. You were sent into the Evergreen to destroy completely a prototype titan that was lost about a week ago. Unfortunately, that didn't quite go off without a hitch as you were attacked by Drakes on the way.

You were kind of ambushed by elves due to your lack of stealth and Una decided to parlay with them on behalf of the group and you were kind of brought into a situation you weren't ready for. They led you into the center of the Evergreen after you had kind of lied to them and told them that you were attacked by the Overwatch, you were just kind of running and hiding and you ended up running into Leorim and more importantly, Brianna. The group found out that Una had lied about Brianna's death. You had a brief conversation about that where the more pressing issue was how the hell were you going to both destroy that titan and get the hell out of there without getting pelted with arrows, it was eventually decided that you would steal horses and just make a run for it.

Everyone got out except Una whose horse was destroyed with arrows and she was pinned to the ground underneath of it she was then knocked out and taken prisoner as the rest of the party kind of fled back into the woods. So right now we're gonna pick up with the party itself. They've been, they've just kind of been streaking through the forest as quickly as possible. Now you guys said that you had a location you discussed beforehand where you would just meet up. - Correct. - So let's have you guys pick up right there where you are kind of one by one funneling into this little clearing kind of separate from everything else.

It is nighttime and one of the things in your favor is there's this thunderstorm starting to brew and that's kind of covering your tracks sound wise a little bit. There's a light rain starting. So let's pick up with the party in this clearing. - Okay. Yeah, the Gavin's probably one of the first ones to get into there 'cause he had the bomb and he was throwing it. He will get into the clearing and turn the horse around, hop off and start checking immediately for arrows and giving reassuring clucking noises 'cause it's an unfamiliar animal and he doesn't hate horses or anything so he's just making sure that no arrows grazed it from the, you know, the nightmare sound of a hundred bow strings being, you know, pulled and 20 arrows whizzing by his head.

- So everyone else has, let's say that everyone else has arrived except Una of course. - All right, guys, you think we're all here or where's Una? - She was right behind me. - All right. - We're gonna give her five more minutes. - Yeah. Can't wait too long though, guys. We don't know that they're not coming behind us. How well did the throw go, Gavin? - Really bad. I kept looking back. I really shouldn't have done that. Not that I've ever thrown explosives from a moving horse and having hit a small target before, that's certainly new. - Did you get close? Did you miss completely?

- Left arm probably took out most of the head and torso from what I can gather, but I wasn't gonna look back. - Where the hell is Una? - Understandable. - All right. - Who would like to roll a perception check for me real quick? - I can do that. - Yeah, I think Fi. - 22. - 22. So let's say Fi's checking around just to see if there's an attack, imminent, or if they've stopped following you. - Besides the sound of rain hitting leaves and bushes and such, it doesn't sound like there's any other movement coming from the forest, which means that they're either, they're either distracted with the explosion and working on that, or they lost track of you, or they're so far behind you that it's not a problem at the moment.

- All right, guys. We have to face up to the facts that one of two things is happening right now, either Una didn't make it out, that the archers got her, or she didn't try and come out. - She was following right behind me. I'm sure that she was definitely heading out with us. - Did you see her get hit? - I didn't. I darted into the forest while she was still crossing the little way behind me. - Well. - I don't believe she'd turn against us. And if she would, she would have sabotaged our mission beforehand if she were turning against us. - I don't believe that she would have turned against us either, but we kind of have to face facts here.

One, she has assaulted multiple members of our party already. Two, she wanted to let- - She wouldn't have turned against us. She wouldn't have. - Let Marcus speak. - She was the one pushing to let an enemy of our city free, who is a very dangerous person. Three, she lied to us about that, directly lied to us about the fact that she was dead when she wasn't. Four, the first time we see elves, she surrendered us to them without checking with us first. She led us directly into their camp and directly, as it turns out, to the woman who was supposed to be dead.

- As much as I disagree with her actions, it was the easiest and most effective way to get us to our target without incurring too much more damage to us. - All right, then I have one final thing to say about it. The four of us standing here, when Gavin questioned our loyalty, all said that we were loyal to Overwatch. The only person who wasn't was Una. - Gavin nods. - I still believe she helped us come up with a plan that did take out a huge portion of that Titan. She would not have done that if she were turning against us. I think she was almost everything else you said, but she wouldn't have helped us.

She wouldn't have fled with us, which Thi says that she did. - She was heading out with us. - Right, and she could have just as easily stopped and turned around. I'm not saying she did, but we have to face facts that she may not be on our side after all. - We have to look at this logically. Go ahead, Marcus, go ahead. - There's, and I think Gavin will back me up on this one. There is no tactical way we can go back into that nation of elves and check. We need to head back to town and find out where we stand from this point. - At this point, I do agree with that.

We can't go back in there even if she is alive, which is horrible, but we can't write it off as she must have betrayed us because we don't want to face the truth that she was a good soldier and might have died. - We brought Thi's body back. If Una is dead, we deserve to get, we owe her a proper funeral. We can't just say that, oh, she might've been a spy, so we don't owe her anything. That's not the case. As far as we know, she was loyal. - And I'm hoping she was. - But we also have to raise, go ahead. - Go ahead, Gavin, I'm sorry. - I was gonna say, Gavin starts raising his hand kind of thing as soon as, you know, finish your sentence, he kind of points to Marcus.

- We just, the four of us are right now, cannot go back in there and get her. We do not have the firepower. We are not enough of an army to do that. We just can't turn around and do it. We have to continue. We also stated when this thing, when we started with this final part of our plan, nobody comes back to get somebody if they fall. - That's only regarding the explosion. - If the military determines that we can come back and get her, then so be it. - All right, here's the deal. We're going back to Overwatch. We're gonna ride without stopping. I have a feeling the horses are going to be all right.

Did anybody take a hit? - I didn't. - All right, we're gonna go to Commander Grace. We're gonna let him know that I made the attempt, I failed, and we potentially lost our paladin. I'm gonna inform him that stealth and subterfuge have failed, that the enemy knew well and aware that we were coming. We don't need to advise him the, you know, the specifics about, you know, the fact that we weren't exactly the most stealthy, nor, you know, we're not gonna be moaning the fact that we were ill-equipped for a true skirmish. He did ask us to be stealth. Well, requisition of adults-- - We made it all the way into the heart of, the heart of the area without being seen as an enemy.

So I would say we done pretty good stealth. - Kevin. - We also didn't have the entirety of the crew on board. The only way the deception would have worked is if things were advised a little bit better. - This was as much my fault. This, I didn't know this language. I'm going to brush up on Alvin and we're, you know, I won't be out of the loop next time. This was my mistake. - Unfortunately, when deception comes into play, not everyone can be in the loop, regardless of how much you want someone to be. This is something that I've learned as I've grown up. You can't always tell everyone the whole truth.

- Gavin hardens a little bit and looks at Phee. You're not the one who had to tell your own mother that you died. But when these decisions affect the possibilities of lives, I need to be fully aware of exactly what's going on. There can be no extra wording and no, you know, no deception towards me. - Gavin. - Yes. - Gudzia is going to pull her horse up and kind of look down and go, we have to hurry, you're right. Thank you for taking charge. But what do we tell my father about Brianna? Do we tell him we saw her? - We need to disclose in case, you know, she is found on the field.

If anybody is coming with us, I'm not expecting them to expend any additional forces, but I will be letting know that Liara is there. And so is, I forget the name of the elven. - Brittana. - Brittana, thank you. That both of them are there as well as much of the, what we assume to be the raven's forces and a decisive load needs to be struck right now while there is chaos and confusion. I think there's a fire going on back there. - Gavin. - Yes. - If I may suggest, we leave the fact that Brianna is alive out of this because Una is not here to defend herself.

We don't know if she fell in combat. I brought up everything I did because I have my concerns, but there's no need to taint her name without proof of why she did what she did. She never explained herself to us. Let her, we don't need her branded a traitor in case she did end her life as a hero. - Understood. That makes all the sense. When we go back, I'm positive that we will find her one way or another. If, he kind of looks at him, you know, Marcus, if logic rules out that she has defected, we'll be bringing her back one way or another. He kind of like snaps, five minutes is up.

We need to go now. - All right, let's go. - All right. - So it's going to take you hours to get back to, to get back to Overwatch. It'll be the middle of the night by the time you get back. We're talking like three, 4 AM, somewhere in there. - Y'all wanna open the gates. - Let's catch up with, let's catch up with Una. Now Una is regaining consciousness on the ground. Partially this because nice cold rains hit her face. Her, her hands have been lashed together with rope. And then that has been wrapped around her waist. Her legs are free though, but she is very much kind of like on the ground and there's nothing, not much care was taken into how, how she fell or whatever it looks like they tied her up and just kind of dumped her there kind of in mud.

Do me a favor Una and roll a perception check. - All righty, 20. - 20. So surrounding Una are a whole fuckload of elves and Ravens. They, I mean, this is a pack and in the center of it is Leora, Brianna and Brittana. And there seems to be an argument going back and forth about what should be done about you. The Ravens are very much in the camp that they want to interrogate you. That, that they like, you're obviously the enemy. They, they need to see what you know. And Brittana kind of speaks up and says, she betrayed our trust. We have to put her to death.

The elves are pretty honor bound people. And once they took you in and sheltered you, they, what they were, what they were convinced were what's sheltering you and protecting you. And then you turn on them. That's that, that your, your word is worth nothing. And that means your life is pretty much forfeit. Your, your life is worth nothing. You can also hear several Ravens kind of like trying to pull Bri aside and they're, they're, they're, they're basically saying the same thing. It's like, I thought you said we can trust her. I thought, I thought, I thought this was going to be fine.

Like you, you vouched for her and she's trying, you can see her just trying desperately to explain it. And then at a certain point, she's just shrugging them off. And she's, she's going back and forth with Brittana about, about we can get more information out of her. If we, if we interrogate her and we just, we just need some time with her. At that point, they see that you're regaining consciousness and Brittana kind of looks down at you and, and, and she bends down. She asks, do you have anything to say for yourself? - I'm ready to die. - And she nods and says, so be it.

And they, there is a kind of a goon squad of elves. These, these big burly fucks, I mean for elves. And they, they pick Una up off the ground, just, just clean pick her up. And then they start to drag her away. And Brittana's kind of, she's yelling after, she's yelling after them. We need to interrogate, we need, I just give me time with her. I, and after a few seconds, there's, there's this long pause where they're not listening to her. They're dragging Una away. They're going to execute her. And Brittana shouts, I invoke Quynh Fe. And that brings a halt to all proceedings.

And there are a couple of elves that speak up. Oh, actually Una, roll a, roll a, let me see, roll a history check. - 21, holy shit. I'm getting all my good rolls out of the way, oh God. - Ha! Una has actually heard of Quynh Fe, which is an elven tradition of sorting out, well, I mean, it's used for everything, for minor disagreements and like large scale squabbles. If, if a member of the clan has some sort of problem, they can invoke Quynh Fe and challenge someone to a one-on-one fight. No one is allowed to interrupt. No one's allowed to interfere. And then whatever the result of the fight is, that's, that's the end of, that is the end of the disagreement.

It can't be brought up anymore. Now that is just for members of the clan though. That's, that's, this is kind of, this is really unorthodox, which is why all these elves start kind of murmuring back and forth to each other. And Brittana, Brittana says, you can't invoke Quynh Fe. You're, you're not an elf. And Brianna says, you offered us honorary clansmanship when we defended Kalkass against the Titan. And Brittana kind of has this look like, you bitch. Like to kind of just not, not spiteful, but more like that's a loophole at best. Like that is a, that is a, that was an honorary title.

And you were taking that as like, you're, you're taking liberties. She can't fight. She's not, she's not well enough to. There would be no honor in that. And Brianna looks around, you have healers. You can fix her. Just make her well enough to fight. Liara's gonna pull, try and pull Brianna aside and roll another perception check, please. 'Cause you're just a little further away from them now. - 15. - Okay. You can hear Liara try and talk Brianna this. Don't, don't do this. I know you just want it. You just want to get your hands on her. This is just about vengeance and spite.

It's not about, it's not about information. It's not about honor. You just want to hurt this girl. Brianna's just gonna shrug her off and ignore her. And she, she, she tells Brittana, it's, it's my right. I'm a member of your clan officially. I invoke Quen Fe. And there are, there are a couple of elves that are objecting to this. And they're kind of, they're kind of pointing, they're kind of pointing at your legs and like how, how fucked up you are. 'Cause again, you weren't even wearing your scale armor. You were just wearing, you were just pretty much wearing leather.

Like you are, you are riddled with holes and beat up and you probably couldn't really stand under your own power very well. So they're, they're, they're pointing all this out. And at this point, Brianna's just furious. She just wants, she wants to get her hands on Una. And she shouts at them. And her voice is like, you've never heard this before in her voice, but it takes on a quality, like a reverb quality. And she just shouts, then heal her. And you can see like her hands crackling with that white glow and like her pupils are gone. Like she, she wants to hurt you.

And Brianna, after there's this long silence, it kind of echoes through this, this clearing. Thunder's just still crackling overhead. And after a few seconds, Brianna says, very well, what are the terms of this quen fe? And Brianna turns to, Brianna turns to, to Una. If you should be victorious, what do you desire? Forgiveness. From who? Una's just gonna like look straight at Brianna. And Brianna turns back to, Brianna, do you accept that condition? And Brianna just like shakes her head yes. Like not, not thinking about it. Like, yeah, yeah, yeah, let's go.

And what do you desire should you win? And Brianna is just gonna stare across this field at Una, her death. And, Vrttana is gonna turn back to Una, is that acceptable for you? Una's gonna nod, very seriously. Very well. You each have one hour to prepare. You will each get someone to help you. And she kind of looks at Una, do you have anyone that would vouch for you? Liara is gonna step forward and kind of step past Bri. And she's gonna say, I'll help her prepare. Bri looks fucking hurt. Una's eyes are gonna go really wide. Like, oh fuck. Bri just looks devastated by this.

And Liara is going to kind of grab Una, like under the arm, like she's got her hands tied forward. So she's just gonna kind of grab her under the arm and just start like pulling her towards a building real quick. And Bri's just gonna watch her the entire time. Like the entire clan is just like standing there. And unless you're gonna say anything, you're going to go into this building with Liara. - Yeah, I mean, it was just kind of like in a state of shock, she did not expect that. - Okay. How about we catch up with the party? So middle of the night, you guys are returning to the Overwatch.

Okay, I imagine you're going right to Commander Grace's office. - Yes. - Tenfold is still nowhere to be found. - I don't actually believe Tenfold exists anymore. - Yeah, he was supposed to be back days ago. Like he's just not around and they're not giving you, it's a need to know thing. So it's like, you're not in the loop. - There is version of the Slender Man just there to keep people in line. - I'll take a mental note that he's not around. Maybe you have to check on that later, but you know, not priority. - Right, right. So Commander Grace was asleep. - He ain't no more.

- No, he's not. - I found him in his tidy. - Picture of sleeping cap. Now like he's dressed and everything, but it's very much like you just woke him up at like three in the morning. And it's not good news that you're delivering obviously. So Marcus, Jadcia, Fee and Gavin are waiting in his office and someone sends for Grace and he, after like you guys are kind of seated and after a few minutes, he kind of appears like you hear him stomping down the hallway. 'Cause the building's empty for the most part. You hear him stomping down the hallway and he enters his office.

What is it? - The mission was only half completed. We've lost Una. We are going back. - Fee steps forward, cutting Gavin off, saying, "We need more explosives. We need them now." - What do you mean Una's lost? - Captured by the enemy, dead, not quite sure. Either way, we're bringing back a body and we're gonna finish what we started with the war forged. - The entire point of sending you into that clearing was stealth. And now you're telling me we've lost the element of surprise. You've lost a team member and I'm guessing you were asking for reinforcements or just explosives.

- We can go back with just explosives, but you do need to know that Liara and Brittana are both in the clearing next to the war, the Titan. - Moonshadow. - Moonshadow. - How many elves did you encounter? - I close my eyes briefly. - Approximately how many would you say? Estimate? - Thousands, like there are thousands. - Yeah, he snaps open. Thousands. So we need something to defeat their archer superiority. - You can't just go in with the four of you. That's suicide. We've already lost a team member. To be honest, she's probably dead. - At the very least, we need to go and retreat spotting.

- Correct. - You understand there's no time for sentiment. We're fighting a war. I understand you have an attachment to your friend, but the bottom line is you let the situation get out of control and he's looking directly at Gavin. - I'm really gonna correct it. - V, back off. He looks back. Grace, yes, I did. And I'm going to fix it. - He is going to motion for his assistant to come over. Go and fetch the new member of the Crimson Shield. - All right. - Do you remember when I said you'd be getting a new member? She should be here within the next couple of days.

Well, this timetable is being moved up. She arrived in the city earlier this evening and you're going to need all the help you can get. This is going to be an adjustment, but I don't have time to explain things as thoroughly as I would like. - Understood. We don't have time to listen to it either. Kenny gives like just the smallest of smile and then nods. It's 3 a.m., I realize. - Walking in the room is the assistant. Like after a few minutes, the assistant comes back and escorts a Tiefling woman into the room, which is highly unlikely in this city. Tiefling woman enters the room.

And I would imagine it takes a couple of seconds for, 'cause this is kind of behind the group, and then she is brought to the side of Commander Grace's desk. So she is in full view of the party. Judzia's face is just going to completely fall and just look immediately baffled. And she's going to look over at her father like, "What the fuck?" - Kevin's looking forward with no expression. - And she's going to hold her rod in front of her. - Oh, sorry, go ahead. - Sorry. - Didn't mean to interrupt you. So she's armed. (laughs) And Kevin's trying to keep this straight face, but has the eyebrow twitch.

- So you're going to draw your weapon? - Immediately, yes. - Okay. - The second she sees horn, her rod comes right out. - Okay. Grace is going to snap at her. Put your weapon down, Judzia. - She's going to flinch a little bit at that and just meet his eyes. Her weapon goes down maybe a few inches, like she's about to put it down, but she's waiting to hear it again. - Judzia, put your weapon away. - And she does it very hesitantly. She's still holding onto it. This is taking a lot for her to put it away. - I'm going to lean in and whisper into Judzia's ear, this is a tool to get what you need.

Deal with the tool as you would any other item. And then step back. - After, you can tell Grace is kind of like waiting just to see if there's going to be a firefight. And after second of like, okay, okay, we cool, we cool. Grace is going to continue. Again, I don't have the time to fully prepare you for this. The short version is that we are in a numbers game, pure and simple. We're fighting a war and to be honest, if the reports we're receiving are true, this is going to be a much larger scale conflict than we had previously anticipated. Now, we're not sending you into the front lines, at least not yet.

Your job is going to be much more subtle. And for that, you're going to need someone to help you get into places that normally the Overwatch wouldn't be welcome. And that is why we're giving you this new recruit. And though some of you, and he looks at Judzia, may not exactly welcome a tiefling in the city, I'm asking that you give her the same respect that you would give any other soldier. She will be living in the city. She will be treated as if she were another member of the Overwatch. - Because I am. - And to be honest, there will be others like her joining the city quite shortly.

Again, I will give you a full briefing if and when you return from this mission. For now, the second part of this awkward news. This is Erolov Grimness. - Grimness. - And he kind of waits for the last name to wash over you. This is Dave Hitler. - He's going to be like, Hitler. - And I just stand there fairly like straight faced, not necessarily hostile in any way, just knowing that this reception is not expected to be warm and just ready for it. - Despite any troubles we've had with her sibling in the past, she is loyal to the city. And we've been in constant communication with her for a long time.

She's helped us accomplish some things again that we would have had a tougher time doing without her help. So here's what we're going to do. I'm giving you one last chance to prove yourself that this isn't a mistake and that we're not wasting valuable resources on your team. I want you to go to the armory and I want you to select a weapon. If you need more explosives, take some. Sign out everything you take and we're keeping a ledger. You're also going to need manpower. There's a camp on the edge of the Evergreen. It's filled with mostly grunts. They're not doing anything other than digging trenches and manual labor.

Take all of them. - Sergeant Baker's men then, yes. - And he's going to scroll down this letter, hand him this and he'll understand. Take all of those men. I want you to assault that point. We don't have the time to launch a full-scale invasion. We certainly don't have the manpower to divert to the Evergreen right now. I want you to destroy that Titan at all costs. If you can retrieve Una, if she's not dead, then very well. But don't put yourself in a situation where you'll sacrifice the team or any of my men if you don't need to, do you understand? - Unquestioningly, sir.

- Then get going. - Yes, sir. - So let's, okay. Let's say that you have went to the armory and that you have, you've kind of gotten everything that you need and you're heading back out. This is a leap of faith for Grace, to be honest. This is, like he could very well be chasing, you know, good money after bad on this. This is your last chance in his eyes. Are you taking the horses back out or a wagon? Like more of a unified type of thing? - My excellent, I think we were gonna grab the horses that we pulled from the Nuval and use those for the way back. - Okay, well, they would kind of be property of the city now but yeah, but yeah, they let you.

- Of course, yeah. - Yeah, so there are only four horses now 'cause there were five of you, Una's got shot down. So who is Erolove riding with? She can ride with Marcus. Is there any discussion on the way? - I would like to state that although she has voiced no like protest to anything that they've discussed in her presence since leaving Commander Grace's office, that she's still very stiff in the saddle and not clearly not relaxed. - I guess, Jodzia definitely wouldn't pick up a conversation 'cause she wouldn't ever, but she is going to ride behind whichever horse that Erolove is on 'cause there's no way she's gonna turn her back to her and she's going to have her hand on her magic weapon the entire time.

- Well, I would like to tell Erolove that no matter what my teammates actions are, as far as I'm concerned, she is a member of this team and she'll be treated as such. Welcome aboard. Thank you. - It's not that Gevan's disinterested. He's just a little bit preoccupied making sure all the gears together and it's like ride out. I'll explain as soon as we stop that Baker's encampment. - Let's catch up with Una. - Ready? - So here, okay, wow. Okay, this is gonna be interesting. So you, okay, Una and Liara are in a private, it's kind of a private little house.

It's like one of the lean-to shacks that you guys were using the night, that well, yeah, that same night really. And she is silently, like at this point, like Una has received some healing and she is still wearing the leather. Like she's not, she doesn't have her armor, she doesn't have her hammer, but those things have been sent for, like they're retrieving them for where you dumped them earlier and there's this like chilled silence in the room as you can kind of hear rain pelt the outside of the building and it leaks like crazy. Like it's not a very, it's not like a watertight seal.

This is just to kind of keep most of the elements off of you and after a few, after like a while of this, Liara's gonna speak up. You know she's gonna kill you, right? - Yes. - You know I can't stop her, right? - I know, I am like Una is kind of visibly for the first time, like not completely, I don't know, cool and collected. Like almost like a, not quite a force field, but it's just like, ugh. Just like, like the armor itself is like putting up its hands like offering like additional protection. And her fist, even though it collides with your chest, does nothing. And then after a couple of seconds that the, that etching starts to fade and it just returns to normal. And that will bring up your turn.

- Okay. - Leora's gonna look really shocked, like she did not expect that to happen. Okay, like side question, is that something that happens 'cause like she's part elf? - That would be because you have elven blood. - So does anybody notice that? And is anybody like, "The fuck?" - Oh no, that was totally a "the fuck" moment. That was like, that's a thing where people were reacting, like it's a lot of like hushed, like, "What the fuck?" Like that's, Leora looks specifically surprised. - Okay, shit. (sighs) Okay, Una's gonna like shift back, like stumble back, like kind of like looking at her arms where the armor is and just like eyes wide, totally not understanding what just happened.

- Brie's gonna look shocked that you're not dead. You should be dead. And she, like, she always like, if there's a misfire in a gun, you start looking at the gun, like she's gonna look at her fist like, "Oh, that usually works. That's not, yeah, this is, yeah, okay, go ahead." - Okay, I gotta think of something to say. Okay, Una's just like in shock, but she's gonna whisper, "I didn't mean anyone to get hurt. I kept my vows." And just like staring at her arms and like her chest where the punch should have hit and just like staring at the elves around her.

- I cannot believe that was a crit miss, that's amazing. - Brianna after a couple of seconds of just looking like something is up, like you should be dead, that shouldn't have happened. And she's like, after a couple of seconds, she's just like the glow starts to fade away and you can like her pupils return to normal. And she's just kind of looking at you. I can't even kill you. I can't even have this. - It's not something you want on you. Trust me. - I'm done. You win. You're forgiven. But she kind of says it like that's something she, like because of the rules of this, she has to say, but it's not, it definitely doesn't sound like that's something she means.

The armor reacts to elven blood in the person's darkest hour when they're beaten and can no longer defend themselves. The armor steps in and offers assistance. Like that's still a sizable force. I would imagine just this year, number of this would scare away a lot of the creatures and stuff that would necessarily attack like a small band of people.

But I don't care how big and intimidating you are as a Drake, you're probably not gonna attack 500 people. So are you, okay, are you, okay, as Una, are you trying to flag them down and just like jump in front of that or? - So did I wander along the side of it? Like, did I wander into them marching forward or did I like wander, like, am I facing them? - Well, if you're marching down the path, like just right down the center, then yeah, you're gonna march headlong into them. - Oh shit, okay, I need to buy some time. - And this is, the party's leading them by the way, like they're there.

If it makes sense to him and he believes you, then we can consider what's going on a little more seriously but until somebody outside of our group and somebody who knows you can honestly think you're telling the truth about everything, we have to question what is going on.

And they respect that enough and they respected me enough and my intentions and my desires and what I think is right for this fucking world. They respected that and so they let me come and warn you and let you know what you're going into and what you're fighting for and all the shitty fucking mistakes you are going to make and we all have made.

Some of which are extremely distasteful and we've seen what the Overwatch has done to people and people like me and people like Fi were terrified to find out about not being completely human. We shouldn't have to live in a city that terrifies us. We shouldn't have to be in an army where we keep our identities hidden. - You speak of courage and then you have the audacity to say that to me? - And you outed Fi again. You gave that information to the enemy. You've used that as your pawn this entire time. This is unbelievable. Fi, he looks back, I'm sorry I told any of you.

He looks to Jadzia quickly, then Una and even to Marcus just briefly, but not as accusing. - Gavin, that was my decision as well. - So far Una, you seem to be reacting to everything and you don't put much thought into it where that's all Gavin and I have done at every step of the way. We think, we plan, we try and figure out every angle and everything we can possibly do as a team. You've seen to go off on your own and run your own show. If you're tired of fighting and if you're tired of everything that's going on and you think we're going the wrong way, then walk another way, but you're not going back to the elves to warn them of us.

- They've gotten a head start. - Una's gonna heft the hammer and say, "I'm never tired of fighting. We're gonna fight, priest, get over here, let's fight." - You go through me first. - And again, you fight your party members instead of an enemy. - I have done so much goddamn fighting today, you don't understand. - Then as I've said, step aside, go another path. You chose the path you're walking on right now and you can just as easily choose another one. But remember, the first time you swing at one of us, this entire army behind us will see this and will consider it an assault on them.

- I'd also like to remind you that it's obvious by my presence alone that this army is not strictly about destroying anyone who isn't a human. Just because the general populace believes that's what's happening, how many of them have even half of the understanding of the big picture that people involved in the process do? - Well guys, I think that it's decision time. I am going to use Sunstrike, which is an at will, divine implement radiant. So I'm going to roll to attack. - It's against her reflex. - Yeah, fuck. - Oh shit. It's more of like a power that like, you know. - I mean, in the theoretical sense, you took a swing. You attacked her.

And like, you're kind of attached to her chest. - That's hilarious. It's like little tiefling, like clinging to this giant plate encrusted woman.

- And he'll, Gavin, grab her and I'll grab Erolove and try and pull her apart. - This, yes, this has gone on too far. - Is Erolove, is Erolove going to fight back? These boys are going to die and you're going to allow it to happen for nothing. - They're going to die eventually anyway. Everyone in a war will eventually die, but they will die being good soldiers. - No one has to die. These boys could go home, have happy lives with the people they love and grow old and then die. They don't need to die in a fucking war. - Until the group comes for Overwatch, then they die uselessly. We know there is a group coming. We have been told what the storm that is coming our way is. - I would rather die fighting to get something done than wait for it to come to me.

- You want to fucking die, Marcus? I will kill you. I will do that right now. - We all die in our time at the Raven Queen's will and you will not intervene. We are a task force with a specific mission. You will either stand down out of our way or you will be cut down. - And considering how many times you have said you were ready to die, I find it really weird that you managed to get out of there alive. Are we going straight ahead or are we going to send the troops on with Poe in the lead and try and find another way? - I wouldn't dare demand anyone do what I would not be willing to do myself.

I threw the explosives last time and I failed. We are marching forward, all of us. - Yes, sir. - Okay. I just, like I said, I thought using the army to draw their forces out while we went in the sideways to get to Titan would get it done. Your call, let's go. - Yeah, I heard you. - If they're marching forward, then Una will fall in beside Jadzia and Fi. - Jadzia's gonna take Una's arm. - So, okay, are Jadzia and Fi staying behind or are they marching? - If Una's staying behind, Jadzia's going to stay behind. - Yeah, I will fall in next to them, but step off to the side and not march along.

- Jadzia, make sure when you get back to town, you tell your father that you disobeyed his orders and watched us go. - I will. - Oh, yes, Jadzia. Una's gonna wrap her arm around her and squeeze her a little bit. It's okay. - And what is Fi gonna do? - He's gonna step back out of the line as well. - All right, so your oath to the Overwatch meant nothing. - Yeah. - My oath is to the people of the Overwatch and I'm sure nobody wants to tell my mother that I died again. - All right, Gavin, Marcus, Errolove, and these 500 are going to march essentially on Kalkas and Jadzia, Fi, and Una are splitting from the party.

Am I understanding this correctly? - Evidently, yes. - All right, what is that, group three and a half? I don't know. All right, Gavin, Marcus, Errolove have marched, they're marching on without you and Una, Fi, and Jadzia are just kind of on the sidelines watching them go, I guess. Is there anything that the three who stayed behind would like to do? 'Cause you have made a decision to directly disobey orders. You are at odds with the rest of your party and you have essentially abandoned them to what you've described as a death sentence. - Okay, I'm just gonna turn to them and say, we have to do something, we can't let them die.

- I agree, but what is it that we can do? They seem set on destroying themselves. - You're gonna hate me for this, Fi, but the elves aren't bad people. They might, if we ask them to not target our comrade, they might- - They might what? They might kill them quickly? - No, they might spare their lives. - I can understand your life in Spared, but I doubt that they will show the same mercy to the rest of the party who willingly walks in to destroy them. - They allowed me to leave so I could try and talk you guys out of stupid loyalties, but I don't, they might.

What can we do? We can't let them, as much as they're stupid and misguided and hypocritical, we can't let them die. - Is Jadzi muted? - No, she's just really quiet, 'cause she's still trying to figure everything out. - Come on, Jadzi, I think you've got the highest int. - No, I don't, I have doubts, so many doubts, and I have a father that I didn't know before a few years ago who told me never to trust a demon, and yet put my life in the hands of one, no explanation, when he was the one who taught me that they don't have souls. He taught me to hate them, and he taught me why I should hate them.

Everyone who's not a human, he taught me, and the first people I could finally call friends in my life, and he looks over at Una, and then she also looks over at me, and she goes, "Are not human," which I once thought meant you couldn't have souls, but Una, you have more soul than I've ever seen in one person, and I've seen Faye lay down his life for the good of the world, what I thought was good at the time, and I can't trust anyone anymore. - You can trust us, I promise. I promise you can trust me. I would never, ever do anything to hurt you, and I would stand up to anyone who would threaten you.

I promise. I know my promises don't carry very much weight 'cause of recent events. - I've never seen you break a promise. - Una's gonna just grab Jadzi and just hug her really tightly. - Jadzi is gonna hug her back and say, "I never wanted to be a part of this war. I joined it because of my father. Fuck this war. Fuck everyone's part of it. I don't want to fight. I'm just surviving. I don't believe in anything anymore but living." And that's only 'cause it's better than the alternative. - Okay. Una's just gonna squeeze her a little bit tighter and say, "You can believe in cord.

You can believe in strength, and you can believe in courage. Those are concrete things that we can see in everyday actions, and that's what will get us through this." - Una's gonna, I mean, Jadzi is gonna kind of do a little half laugh and say, "I only ever followed cord because my father told me to." - Then he had good sense about at least one thing. If only that. - So what would you have us do? - We're gonna have to go back and plead for the lives of our friends. It's gonna be terrifying, especially for both of you and you, Fi. But the only way to be brave is when you feel tremendous fear.

- Let me ask a question. Are you trying to beat them back to the elves? - I don't know. I don't know what we're trying to do. (laughing) - That would be a good thing to hash out. - Yeah, we should try and beat them back. They are marching. They have 500 people. It's gonna be slow. - Being that this is an elven forest, it would be logical that there would be elves in and around, regardless of whether we've been attacked or not. - True. - Yes, that'd be cool. - My thought would be that if we called out in elven, would it, would, okay. Yeah, Fi, I don't know. Fi looks at Una and says, I don't think that we could beat, beat the rest of the party back to the elves.

But someone who knows the forest better, I'm sure we'll be able to travel faster. Do you think, do you think there might be any elves within here in distance that we could attract? - Yeah, I think they would. Okay, Una's gonna call. We ask for your assistance in elven and just see if anything happens. - After a few seconds of waiting, nothing. - Okay, let's run. Everyone okay with that? Everyone good? - Yep. - Well, you gave it one try. Okay. - Well, obviously running towards the elven city, so we could in theory try again while we run. - That's what I was figuring, is that we'd make better attempts while running.

- Yeah. - All right. You actually, if you were to, like if you're off the beaten path and you're just running, you could theoretically, you could beat them back because they're marching there with a full army. You won't have much time on them. This won't be like, you know, you have 10, 15, 20 minutes to talk to you, but I mean, you could have a small amount of time. Do me a favor and make an athletics check, each of you. (laughs) - Well, fuck. - Now this doesn't, well. - I was thinking endurance. - How far off the beaten path are you trying to run? Like, are you going deeper into the woods to make sure that they couldn't possibly see you?

Or is this a thing where you're just not on that beaten path and you're just, like, you can probably see it? - I would say like keeping an eye on it, but like, not like going super deep into the woods, but like trying to stay out of view of the columns. - So you can see the path. - What do you guys think? - Yeah, see the path until we get to the point where we catch up with the army. And then that would be something where we would go further into the woods so that we weren't dissected. - I don't want to give them a chance to do a perception check. - Yeah, but obviously like we would be coming up on the back end of two, 300 odd men.

- Five. - Five, yeah, 500 odd men. So, you know, that's quite a warning for us to start going in before we would be noticed. - And all of the player characters like Gavin, Marcus, and our love are in the front. So we have pretty good cover. - Well, do me a favor, give me an athletics check first. - That's not good. - 23, yeah. - What? - 14. - 20. Oh, one of the natural 20. - Crit, can I just like-- - She's like cartwheeling her way through. Bombing through. - She picks up V and runs with him like a suitcase. Now, 14's not spectacular, but it's not terrible. So you said you're taking the path until you catch up with him and then you're diverting into the woods and running around, right?

- Yeah. - Just not to be seen, yeah. - Right, right, right, right. Let's see here, do me a favor and hmm. I'm gonna say that that was successful based on that. Like 14's not terrible, you're just running. So, okay, your objective is to beat them back to the elves, correct? - Yep. - Yes. - All right, let's say that based on when you passed the army, you know you have a scant few moments here. You don't have, but you weren't that far outside of the clearing anyway. And how the detour you had to take to move around them doesn't give you too much time. Let's do this.

The three of you go ahead and place your characters in this vicinity here. How are you entering this clearing by the way? Because, okay, everyone roll a perception check. Just for starters. - 16. - 18. - 16, 16, 18, okay. - Una is going to notice that there are indeed people watching them as they're finishing out their leg into the clearing, like there are elves in the trees watching and they're not doing anything. They may be keeping an eye on the encroaching army. They may be keeping, for whatever reason they don't attack you three as you run into this clearing.

- Okay, that's good. They do not want to be attacked. - Running into this clearing, there are several archers just kind of stationed where the path kind of funnels into this wide open clearing. It's pretty much a killing field. That is an excellent ambush spot. And anyone trying to get into this clearing will basically have to march straight through it. And as you walk in, these elves just draw their bow strings. They could pretty much end you right now. - I'm just gonna like raise my hands. - Me too. - Todd's the only one following suit. - Brittana is going to march forward and she kind of motions weapons away.

And they kind of, after a second, just let the bow string go slack. And Brittana looks to Una. - Were you successful? - Only with two of my friends. The rest are still delusional. They're leading a group of about 500 boys, just recruits, raw recruits. They're leading them straight into this kill zone. They want to try and blow up the Titan. They say that's all they're trying to do and then they'll leave, but that's what's happening. - We are supposed to protect it. There was a group that will be coming back for it and they intend on repairing it. That's neither here nor there though.

The point is aggressors are coming into our forest and we will defend ourselves. - I understand. But you, is there any way you can not kill my three other compatriots? They're confused and emotions are heightened and it's messy. - You would have no problem with us killing the army they're bringing. - I don't want that either, but it's my duty as their friend to make sure that they're safe first. - I honestly can't guarantee anything. Once they get here, if they intend on destroying any of our property, if they intend on attacking us, we will cut them down.

- Okay, I'm gonna quickly turn to V and Jadzia and just say, do you think we three can take out Gavin, Marcus, and the tiefling? Do you think we can just bring them down enough so that they won't die? - Marcus and Gavin, possibly, but we don't know enough about the additional parts member that we now have. - Realistically, you are still injured and they have a healer on their side. - Does any of the elves notice that they were talking about a tiefling? - I was gonna bring that up anyway. - Okay, cool. - Don't worry, they'll find out. If we had reinforcements, that might help, but separating them from the actual battle, taking them down and getting them out safely, it doesn't seem practical.

- What should we do? We can't let them die. - Here's something, I'm gonna toss this out there. If they were to get to this clearing, an initiative got rolled. It's gonna be a bloodbath one way or the other, but if you were to fight your own party members, you can try to knock them out. It doesn't necessarily mean it has to be to the death. - Yeah, that's what I was figuring. - Right, just to clarify so that there's no confusion there. My understanding, it's been talked out and they're not stopping and neither of these elves, they will defend themselves if these guys roll up 500 strong and start trying to blow shit up.

So, oh no, wait a second, who was carrying the explosives? - Jadzia. - Jadzia always carrying explosives. - We blow up the Titan before they get there. - Gavin said he was going to do it 'cause he was the one who threw the last one, so I was assuming he had them. - Yeah, that wasn't said, but that remains a big important. - I think Gavin would have stopped Jadzia from keeping them, even if she did have them. - Yeah, I'm sorry that wasn't voiced up, but yeah, he would have had her hand them over. That was just a human people mistake, player's mistake as opposed to-- - Not a problem, that's why we're gonna clarify, it's fine.

So Gavin would have the explosives, okay. - Yep. - Just, I mean-- - As fun as that would have been. - That is interesting though. Well, it's up to you guys, how do you wanna handle this? 'Cause after a couple of seconds, I'm going to just have them arrive. - Okay, the elves are gonna-- - The only issue-- - So the only issue if we defend ourselves against the rest of group three, the army behind them would most likely see us as traitors and just treat us as part of the elves. - True, and vice versa, if the rest of group three on the Overwatch side walk in and start trying to blow shit up, the elves on your side are going to attack them.

You both have armies. - We could ask the elves to blow up the Titan just preemptively. - They should have right back down. - To defend it? - Yeah. - How many elves are in the immediate vicinity? - We could ask the elves to fall back behind the Titan, let Gavin blow it up like he wants and then maybe the army will leave. - That was kind of already pitched. - Yeah, didn't really work out. - Elves are big on the whole, you know, vow thing and trying to-- - What about this? What if we enter the battle, but try not to get in too deep and scout it out, watch to see if any of our old teammates fall, retrieve them if they do, but otherwise stay back.

- So stay out of the fight unless? - How does Luna feel about that? - I think the best thing to do is try and convince them of their folly. They're gonna wander in here and boys are gonna be dropping dead right, left and center around them. If we can convince them of their folly during the fight, fight them without trying to hurt them too much, just to keep them distracted and keep them from hurting any elves and then they'll see the error of their ways. - I think we need to move forward to meet them before they reach this kill zone. 'Cause we, if things turn bad we can always retreat back here and obviously the elves haven't so far fired upon us and going forward I doubt that the party would immediately fire upon us.

- Okay, let's try and keep our friends back and keep them from being injured. That's what we'll do, we'll enter the battle doing that. Sound good? - I guess so, Jatia's gonna look at Brittana, right? Brittana and say, they have a tiefling with them, just make sure that everyone knows that she's on their side. So no one gets confused. - She kinda looks puzzled at that. Why would they have a tiefling? - Fuck if I know. - So he's like literally gonna roll her shoulders like pissed off about it still. - Very well, and go ahead. - She's apparently been working with the Overwatch for a while, it appears she may be related to a tiefling named Malchus Grimness.

- Really? She perks right up at that, like she, yeah. - I know Malchus Grimness, his party are the people we're defending this war forged for. Why would she be fighting against him? - We do not know, we're as confused as you are regarding that matter. - So she's gonna kind of, she's just gonna sit in there and think about it for a few seconds. Regardless, if she's a part of the Overwatch and they're attacking us, then we will defend ourselves. My advice would be to prepare. - Okay, let's try and run up and intercept our friends and. - Okay, wait, wait, wait.

It's turning into a Three's Company episode. Okay, you've already tried to talk them out of it. - I mean like during the battle. - Okay. - So wait, I'll start and then approach them? - I don't fucking know. I don't see any way to do this without like kind of fighting them. Even if it's just like that kind of brief fight where it's like I'm fighting you for show kind of, but not really. - Oh, she was fighting to kill you. - No, I mean like fighting like online. - Oh yeah, okay. Do me a favor, drop your characters back somewhere on this side. - Oh, hot damn. - I'm gonna do a quick lay on hands as soon as we start this thing.

- Wait, one more time. - The initiative tracker is gonna be huge. - How long has it been since Brianna, I mean since Una fought Bri realistically? - Like 10 minutes? - About an hour? (laughing) - It'd be about an hour and a half, almost two hours. - Well, I just wanted to know timeline wise. - Una's had a long day. - Una's day sucks. (laughing) I think everyone's day sucks, honestly. No one's happy. - One second. - Except for Marcus, he's having a fucking blast. (laughing) - No, Marcus doesn't like the idea of his teammates turning on them and turning their backs on their town, no.

- Una, do you still have your potion? Y'all got a potion, right? Did you still have yours? - You crammed it down Gavin's throat. - Yeah, I vaguely remember doing that. So I can give you mine if you want, 'cause I know I haven't used mine. - That's okay. I think we're all gonna get hit this fight. - Oh man, this is good. - I actually can't find it though. Did I use my potion or is it just gone from my equipment? - Let me go back and listen to the first episode. No. (laughing) - You didn't use a potion, it may just not be, yeah. - Very hard. - No, so you're, yeah, you have them.

- Hmm, this, only on group three, man. I started session off and by the end of it, we have literally split the party in two. We've got all the feelers on one side and all the pragmatists on the other side. - I don't know if I'd divide it quite like that, but. - I'm just saying, I'm just saying, based on that previous interaction, it's like this is what we're supposed to do because this is right, we have our doors, and the other, it's very lovey-dovey, feel the emotion. I'm just saying. A lot of hugs and crying on one side and, you know. - There was one hug and a few tears.

- Wow, you're basically waiting for your friends to emerge from that clearing. While, so there's a big hubbub going on around this clearing and you can, there are more and more elves kind of congregating, like this is, this is a buzz saw, this is going to be bad. From the back, like from the back of this clearing, you hear a very familiar voice yell at you guys, what the fuck are you doing here? And it's Brianna marching, marching across the-- - Oh yay! That's just what we needed. - Brianna's marching right up to Una. What, why are you here? More importantly, why haven't they killed you yet?

And she's kind of like looking around at the elves who aren't focused on you at all, they're paying attention to that clearing. - Bigger things to deal with right now, Bree, bigger things, 500 people coming this way, big fight. Can we not do this right now? - She's kind of piecing it together in her mind. Where are the rest of your friends? - We didn't really see eye to eye, and we're gonna try and figure that out in the fight. - All right, and she kind of clenches a fist and starts the fucking, the glowy. - You gonna be okay? - I'm gonna be fine, are you gonna be okay?

- Fuck yeah. - She is going to stand, let me add her to the, to the Lord. - Jesus. - She's going to stand right next to Una, and she's just kind of standing, waiting, just like everyone else, waiting for them to emerge from the tree line. - Good thing you kept that paper, didn't you? Isn't that Jason? - Yeah, you never know. - Group three, you never know. - 'Cause why not? - Fuck it, why not? - 'Cause fuck it, why not? While you're standing there, he's kind of kind of like, so, you're an elf. How's that feel? - Ironic. - Guess you kind of have to pick a side now, huh?

- Guess you kind of need to shut up now so I can fight. - No. - She's like, I'm not having any of this shit, shut the fuck up. - That sound you made. - It's just like, clearly teasing, not like, not super serious. - She kind of nods her head and is just kind of standing there getting ready. - That's not the time to be serious or anything. - Does she say anything about anything? Or is she gonna let it be a surprise for Bree once the battle begins? - Oh, by the way, there's your sister. - There's your sister-in-law. - Do you seriously tell her that in-- - Do it, do it, do it.

Maybe not that way. - She wants to look back at Bree and say, how would you like to fight a two-chin today? - She's, again, so her pupils are gone, like she's ready to fight, and she kind of like, it's kind of creepy when she's just speaking to someone, like in a fight it makes sense. When she's just standing there and you kind of, like that low hum of the fucking psionic charge, and then she just kind of like looks over at Fig, what do you mean? - Your boyfriend's sister is marching this way. - She drops the glow altogether. - She's not on our side. - Malka says a sister?

- Yep, and it looks like she's working on the Overwatch, working for the Overwatch. - I don't understand, why? - We don't know, but it's a thing that's happening. - We can't hurt her. - We'll try and take her down without doing anything bad. - Just do your best not to hurt her, okay? I'm sure she has some kind of reason, but just do me that favor. If worse comes to worse, I'll take care of her. - Oh my God. - And she's gonna focus back on the opening. There is an elf, there is this relay system of signals, and after a few seconds, there are elves on the side of the tree line that give a signal, it's like, okay, here they come.

- Meanwhile, at some point during the march, oh, go ahead, what were you gonna say? - No, go ahead, go ahead, I was just gonna ask you, like, how would you like to proceed into this kill box? - Yeah, as we're going through, here we go. You recall from last time, Marcus, that we had a death explosion that was at least 25 feet in diameter, give or take. I'd like you to go ahead and stay 30 feet away from me as soon as this opens up, as soon as we get in through the gauntlet. Air love, same for you. She, you know-- - I'll be staying in the back. - Understood, just make certain to, you know, do not approach directly with the scion.

- Which one is the scion? - The Brianna, dark hair, kind of way fish. She will look like she's not supposed to be there, you know, as far as, she doesn't look like, man, sorry, words are failing me right now. Let's try this again. - She does not look like a combatant. - That's correct, she will look unarmed. However, she has, yes, white light will generate from her hands and her pupils will be black. We're here for one thing, we blow up the bot, we retreat. - I'm focusing on the bot, sir. - Excellent, I've got the explosives. - I'll watch your back then. - Before the, you know, before, when we get, I don't know, about, let's say, 60 feet away, I think at that point we're gonna stop and I'll yell for the company to halt.

- Okay, and they all halt behind you. - All right, ready yourselves? Do not move until I give the command. I'll take a 10 foot step forward. - Okay, if you wanna place your character right in this vicinity. - I'll just go and put myself like right here. Oop, there we go. - There we go, perfect. - Thank you. - Brittana Moonshadow, I am Gavin Dearborn of the Overwatch. We have our orders to destroy the Titan unit. Any aggressors will be dealt with decisively. What say you? (Gavin growls) - These, okay, looking around right off the bat, you can see dozens and dozens of these arrow men just like staged right there, like they could murder you.

Gruesomely, it would be terrible. And after a few moments, Brittana steps forward and she steps forward to right around this area and she calls out, she calls out, I'm here. You intend on destroying this Warforged unit? - Yes. - I'm afraid it's under our protection. You've been given this much warning. If you don't leave, we will take it as an act of aggression and we will have to kill you. - At this point, I'm looking over and not as perceptive as most people, but I think I can see the three there. - Oh yeah. - And Brittana standing right next to her, you know, doing the friendship chain.

- The Care Bear stare. - Pretty much, countdown, three, two, one. Yeah, they always sound like they were stoned. Anyway. God, this is tense. - It's kind of gotten to the point where one of two things has gotta happen. Like it's pretty much neither side wants to budge. This is something they're both willing to fight and die for. - Gavin is going to strike the explosives and then make a suicide dash towards the Titan. - Wow, okay. - What? - He's not throwing it. He's going to hold it because last time he threw it, it did not land properly. - Okay, let me paint a picture for you.

- Yep. - The second you strike that, the second you like that fuse and start running, I want you to make an athletics check. Now, this is gonna be a high one because you have like, just picture a thousand sniper rifles aimed at you. - Yep. - Now, even if most of them miss, only a couple have to hit. So do me a favor and roll an athletics check. - You got it. 24. - 24. - Nice. I am prepared. - All right. - Gavin lights this up and these, okay, these elves start firing. Like this isn't even a thing where they're waiting for Brittana. They're not, it's like, nope, fuck that.

- Yeah, he does that soft whisper, yeah. I would do nothing. I would never ask anyone to do what I would not be willing to do myself. And then he runs. - And Gavin is going to sprint forward towards this Titan. Right after that, a few of these elves are going to kind of not grab Brittana, but they are definitely going to, they're definitely going to try and like escort her back, like get away from this thing. The rest of these elves are going to start to open fire on you. Now, because that's a 24, you're moving pretty damn quickly. So let's do this. 16 versus your reflex.

- Reflexes 18. - Well then that's, wow, that is going to miss. That is going to put you right about here and I'm going to make another attack. - Okay. - As soon as Tyler goes away from my Skype thing. 13 versus your reflex. That is going to miss as well, which would put Gavin right near the Titan. What are you doing once you get there? - Going to leap upon the Titan. Basically just the whole point, just doing a shout. - Okay. - I'm hoping that this fuse is short enough that I can just stay there. You mentioned all the ropes or whatever that we're trying to hold this thing down.

I'm just going to try to get down as low as I can, grab onto whatever dippery is down there and just hold fast and wait for it to go. - All right. - You can't let this happen. - Can other people take actions as well? I mean, are we allowed to like? - Okay, I want to point out that this is in the, like this is in like a moment's like breath. Like for him to run up and then there's a few shots fired. If Jatzia or Una or Fi want to try to do something, even Brianna could take a shot at him. That would be, okay, so at this point, Gavin is at the Titan and he's leaping for it.

Like you have, you have a, like a whisper's breath, man. You have just like what, like you have like one thing you could possibly do. - When for your assault, I can like fly and like catch him in the middle in mid-flight and like, hopefully, but like maybe I can like, once we hit the ground, I could like put it out or something. I don't know, it has fuse, I don't know. - Well, we've established they're really easy to set off. So if you tackle him, they're probably gonna go off. - Probably. - Just confetti of organs. - Two of you colliding in midair might be enough to set it off.

There'd be a check, but yeah. Again, Bri, I mean, she may just take a shot at him 'cause she would see him coming. - If she fires off that punch of hers, that will set the explosives off. - That's what I'm saying, if she fires, if she fires a blast at it, that's not gonna do any better. - I'm pretty sure this is gonna end with an explosion is all I'm saying. - I mean, you don't see any way of stopping it. - Martyr's blessing? No, I've got 20 points like that. - I was gonna say, you don't want that kind of evil. - Sorry, not even I could bring you back from that one.

- I don't see Jancia going out of her way to save the Titan. - Right, I mean, at the end of the day, this is a Titan, not a person. It sucks that it's gone, that's something like, even Brianna would fall back. Like these elves are gonna fall back. Like after they miss with their shots, I mean, it's, he was close enough to the thing. He was only 20 feet away from it. So this is, he's close enough to it that he can make it to that with the explosive. So it's not like he ran across an entire field, so. - So is Gavin like kamikaze in this, where like he's gonna jump on top and like throw it at his feet and let himself blow up?

Or is he like throwing it like, and then running away? - He will not run away. He's going to hold the line until the bomb explodes. - Yeah, see, that's the part where I was like, are any of us gonna be able to do anything to like stop him? Like either Marcus or myself? - Well, he was out in front of you guys. - I said we would have had to react immediately and without us knowing he was going to do this. - This is so hardcore, we just have to let him do it. - Plus I'm going on the assumption he's going to run and just run by it, drop it and then run away.

We don't know he's gonna stand on it. - After what he said right before he ran off, I kind of had an inkling. - Yeah, but I mean like you just met him. So is Gavin holding the explosives or has he actually like attached it to himself? - Well, yeah, I think he's, how is he? Are you holding it or is it attached? - I would assume he's holding it and he doesn't have it 'cause he would have it in basically in a sword hand and he's holding the shield 'cause he was expecting a wall of arrows. So he hid behind the shield and just started running. And then when he got to the leg of the thing, that's when he's like just holding it there, kind of pinning it between the shield and his forearm and just holding it to his chest.

- And the original plan was for you to throw it. So having it in your hand would make sense. - Yeah, so they wouldn't have guessed he would do that. These elves are gonna fall back. Even Brianna is gonna take several steps back, so. - Yeah, I think I'll join them. - Yeah. - What's my speed? One, two, three, four, five. - B, you gonna step back? - Yeah, I was just counting something. - That is not going to stop these other elves in the tree line to, that is not going to stop them from firing. And at this point they're firing at anything in that clearing. - Jeez, okay, so they're not going to stop Gavin from getting to the war forged.

And so Gavin has jumped onto it and is holding on for dear life. - Does Gavin have the opportunity to say one thing before he goes? - I guess. - Overwatch retreat. That's an order. - Do we know how long would be left on the fuse? Is it like, can we see it burning down? - You can, yeah, you can judge it. You can totally see it burning down. They usually have about 10, 15 seconds somewhere in there and then that, yeah. So you would have a few more seconds, basically. - Okay. Would, oh god. - How many times do you want to die, Fe? - Oh, no, no, I'm not. - Don't do it, don't do it, Fe.

This, this war forage goes up along with Gavin. There's nothing that can be done about it. It is, it is erupted.
