Um, which is some sort of cool podcast award thing. Which I don't really know about, but which other people do. Um, so when that comes around, you'll know and we'll tell you and you can go vote for us and stuff. Alright. Let's do that thing. Uh, where we go around the table and introduce ourselves. Stelz. That's a good start. Go around the table and introduce ourselves. I'm Jason. I'm the Dungeon Master going around the table.

Start with Izzy. Hi, I'm Izzy and I play Una, the Half-Elf Paladin. And Merlin. Hello, I'm Merlin. I play Mason Darktree, the Human Slayer. And Kat. Hi, I'm Kat Charlie. I play Thi, the Changeling Fith. And Jen. Hi, I'm Jen. I play Erolove, Grimnast in Group 3 and she is a Tiefling Invoker. And Brie. Hello, I'm Brianna and I play Judzia Grace, the Human Warlock. Okay, so I gotta give a detail. Let me firstly explain why the new G3B episode isn't up yet. I have been quite ill. And I honestly just could not. I had time, but when faced with the option of editing an episode or trying to rest, I chose rest.

So that should tell you how bad I'm feeling. Anybody who knows me or my work ethic when it comes to D&R, that's... yeah. So, last time on the show, obviously Marcus has, well, Erolove and Mason have split off from the rest of the Crimson Shield, which is pretty much just Marcus at this point. Marcus on his way back to the Overwatch decided to swing by Sergeant Baker, his little encampment with the 500 kids that he has digging ditches and kind of breaking them in, and inform them about the White Ravens headquarters and where it is and what resistance should be encountered there.

He is under the impression that neither Mason nor Erolove have joined the Ravens necessarily, so there wouldn't be any problem in sending them there to kind of wipe out whatever would be in that cave. Just to try a last ditch effort to finish his mission. Mason, Erolove and Poe do some catching up, and they have to fend off Sergeant Baker and... God, how many did you kill? Thirty. Thirty? In three rounds. So basically ten died about every round. It would be equating to two deaths every second. Good lord. That's... yeah, you guys cleaved through, and again, a lot of them were kids, but, you know, that doesn't... they were going to murder you if you didn't murder them, so...

Self-defense, yeah. Right. You also ended up killing Sergeant Baker, after which a lot of them retreated, having no leadership and seeing what you guys did to thirty of their people in seconds. So they ended up retreating. Marcus, meanwhile back at the Overwatch, went to visit Mason's family to kind of give them the word. He had talked to Mason previously, and he was going to give them the word that it's no longer safe there for them, they should leave the city. He arrives to an empty house. Mason had already had a conversation with his family and kind of told him the same thing, but he wanted to make sure.

Marcus took this as a sign that Mason had been planning to defect the entire time, and he kind of goes into full-blown paranoia mode. Now, he starts questioning leadership and, you know, if this entire thing had been rigged from the beginning. He ends up taking the note that he intercepted from the White Raven and using that as a foundation for a forged document that implicates Commander Tenbolt. Commander Tenbolt is hung for treason, and that is pretty much where we left off on the last episode. So there is a massive power vacuum in the Overwatch, and Marcus is kind of the only remaining member from the Crimson Shield, be it management or membership.

So we are definitely going to see how he handles that later in this episode. We're going to record something, and that will be tomorrow. So in the finished product, yeah. As for you guys... Yes? Mason and Air Love and Poe, and the couple of White Ravens who weren't killed. There's four left, I believe. Four, yeah. Four left. You have been in this incredibly nail-biting scenario where you don't know when or if help is coming. You would have no idea that the Raven was intercepted, but there should have been help by now. You have been in this cavern for days defending it.

And it's... there haven't been any major attacks, but you never know when someone's going to come charging over that hill, and this time with something way worse than kids. This is where Mason really is in his element. This is kind of his background, the whole "when is help going to arrive?" "Hold your position and move when you're ready." So he's doing his best to try to keep everybody's spirits up and whatnot, but still everything is super tense and everybody's starting to get a bit, I imagine, kind of weak from lack of sleep. It's a really shitty situation because there's not even enough of you to really sleep in shifts.

Like, one of you can kind of stay up, but I mean, it's that and hunger. Because there's not really... this cavern was cleared out, except for a few bits of bread or dried meat, something like that. But it's pretty much cleared out. It was to give the refugees the best shot at survival that they can give them. Erolove would have ponied up her trail rations as well. Oh yeah, definitely. Yeah, I would imagine that that's something that... just trying to get through this. So that is... that's pretty much what you've had to deal with now for days. In the meantime, the refugees that managed to escape the cavern that you let go would have gotten to Kalkast by now.

That is the only word that would have gotten to the rest of the ravens and elves to let them know that anything had gone wrong back at the headquarters. That is the only indication that they would have had that anything had gone wrong. Let's catch up with Unafi and Jadzia and Thales. Because they have their own problem to deal with. You guys remember getting out of Esterhold and clearing that checkpoint? Mm-hmm. Yep. And how that didn't go extremely well? Vague recollection, yes. Okay. If you have a map handy, I'd like you guys to roll a Perception check.

Heading out of Esterhold, there is a fork in the road where the path deviates and you would be going towards Durnhollow or back towards the Overwatch. So if any of you, well every one of you, should actually make a Perception check, please. 25. I actually have to get all my character and look at them in order to do that. 23. The, okay, the road that you would normally follow has seen a massive amount of traffic since you've last been through. When I say massive, I'm talking thousands of troops have been through here. And it looks like they're heading, they were heading towards Durnhollow.

That is cause for alarm, because what it looks to be is, if you were to make a reasonable guess that the Overwatch have finally started mobilizing troops, and in the days that it took you to head into Esterhold and then make it back out, they are moving towards Winterhaven. And another educated guess would be that that is probably not the only wave of troops that's going to see any traffic through this road. Now that, how, okay, how would you like to try to get to Winterhaven? Is that still your goal? Because there's, again, you don't see the troops yet.

You'd be miles and miles outside of Durnhollow, but it is probably a good idea to play it somewhat safe. Hmm. I don't want to go back towards Overwatch, but I don't want to go through Durnhollow if there's like a fucking thousand ass troops there. And again, I mean, like you could take a wide, you can give it a wide berth and just kind of avoid it. It'll just take a little extra time, like not taking the road. What do you guys think? Head towards Durnhollow? Yeah, yeah. We need to go up to Winterhaven to meet up with Brien and Leetliara. So yeah, if we just like travel up the road and then avoid Durnhollow when we get to it.

And we should definitely get the new arm pretty soon. Yes, it's kind of a thing. He's still going on about the arm? Geez. I know, he's kind of a baby about it, but fuck. It's been like a whole day and a half. Gotta let things go. Well, let's do this. Everyone firstly should rest up. That would be a very good idea for you. So everyone give your characters a rest, because I would imagine you have made camp at least once since leaving Esterhold, if you've made it back towards Durnhollow. Is this another day? We're all good? Yeah. You're gonna get your dailies back and encounter powers just in case things go wrong.

Which they never do. They never do. Of course they never do, Jason. Pray your hashtags, darlings. You know, I don't even take offense to that anymore. It's kind of accurate. Alanna's catching up on the show, right? And she just got to Fee's mom. I could read you the message that was sent to me just before this session. Hold on a second. All caps, "Oh my god, you killed Fee's mom." And I said, "Yeah, I was waiting for that." I'd call you a bastard, but I feel like it's affect... Oh, it loses its affect when you're expecting it. Yep. Everyone do me a favor. Okay, so you are close enough to Durnhollow now to see these troops, but far enough away that you could just sprint if things got bad.

Like if you saw where they started to... This is a huge force. Go ahead and make a Perception roll. I'll give you an idea of how large this is. 28. Damn. Almost a crit. I bet it's big. Fee is... Fee would have the best look at this, but every one of you rolled really well. You estimate this to be anywhere between 5,000 and 6,000 Warforged troops. This also doesn't appear to be... They appear to be taking a pit stop in Durnhollow. This doesn't appear to be where they're going to be staying. Now, something else you see is someone trying to get your attention. And that is this female rider positioned kind of near these bushes off to the side of the road.

And she's kind of trying to wave you over while making as little noise as possible. But after she looks around and sees that it's just you on the road, she's going to kind of holler out, "Hey! Hey!" And then she kind of waves you over. Can we do like a Perception check on her to like see if she's wearing like an armband or anything? Sure. Perception check? That's a... Oh, 9. Jeez. 20 is not bad. 20 is not bad. Not at all. She is wearing an armband. She's kind of wearing this billowy cloak, just hood up, just really trying to not be spotted. It's this kind of like this hunter green cloak just kind of blends in with the bushes.

Let's go over there? Yes. Okay. Yeah, right over. She's kind of looking each one of you over. And then she points at Jadzia, right? Yes. Sorry, I've been looking for you three for days now. I've been kind of positioned here. I was asked to find you and bring you back to Kalkas. We have a bit of a problem. Let's go then. Do I know what that is? Where's Kalkas? That's the tree, isn't it? Yes. Oh, sorry. Yeah, you've been there before. That was where the titan exploded. I didn't even write a book and here I am. Fantasy names! I guess we'll just start writing off and maybe ask her what the problem is as we're writing.

Um, yeah, actually, that's probably a really good idea. She's looking over your shoulder to Durn Hollow. Yeah, we should probably get away from here really quickly. I'm glad I kind of intercepted you guys. I would hate for you to get further down the road and see what's there. What is that? What's going on? Yeah, what's there? I imagine Breen and Liara told you about the attack on Winterhaven that the Overwatch are trying to put together. Apparently they got tired of waiting. All of our intel previously said that we had a little more time, but something changed and they just kind of sprang into action.

We weren't really expecting it. There are thousands more troops down the road. How much damage have they done? Nothing yet. It just looks like they're getting into position, but I've been hiding here for days watching them go by. God, god. What about Winterhaven? Are they evacuating? That's not really their style. Good. Uh, yeah. I'll let Breen and Liara explain the big situation, but apparently the actual Raven headquarters was attacked. They managed to get out all of the sick or injured, but we really don't know what's going on. I don't really know what's going on there now.

I imagine they got them some kind of backup in the last day or two. Fucking Rodswell. That... Okay. Let's do this. Let's catch up with Mason, Air Love, and Poe. Now, in the time it would have taken... In the time it would have taken Unifee and Jadzia to get from Esterholt to Durnahla, backup would have arrived. So there would be this contingent of elves and ravens, and it's... I can only imagine it's this huge rejoicing thing of watching them ride and the cavalry come in. Because, again, for days they're just sitting there biting their nails waiting to get attacked and wiped out.

I'm very happy for them. I would probably kind of be a wallflower during this because I don't want to take away from it, and I also don't want to necessarily try to pretend that I'm as excited as they are. So I'm just going to stay out of their way. Same with Mason. It's kind of this big backslapping thing, like, you know, Posey's the other ravens, and they haven't seen him in a while. The ones that would know him wouldn't... I mean, it's been over a year. So it'd kind of be this big kind of reunion thing. Not only, "Hey, you're alive!" but, "Hey, you're alive!" Well, I mean, you guys are telling stories about how you killed 30 men trying to take the cavern and the gate, and after a little bit of this, if you guys are kind of pulled back and a bit more reserved, not talking to the other ravens, Posey's going to be speaking to them for a bit, and then he's going to kind of join Mason and Erolove.

Okay, we can get out of here. We're going to be heading to Kal'Koz. Alright. I would imagine you guys are anxious to get out of this cave, just like me. Definitely. Well, we're gone. If there are any problems, they can send word out. We didn't have any ravens left. They brought one, so if there's a problem, we'll know about it pretty quickly, and we can get help to them. Right now, we have to meet back up with Lior and Bree, and I imagine we have a lot of explaining to do. Hey, Po. What's a Kal'Koz? Oh, it's elven for a big tree or something. Ah, looks over to the distance.

That one? That would be the one. Ah, it gets bigger as you get closer, huh? Yes. Alright. It's shady there. You'll like it. It's just kind of like, just like, yeah, come on. Let's go. Do you have a horse, Po? No. No, I don't, actually. You can ride with me if you want. Yeah, sure. Let's do that. Whatever gets us there as quickly as possible. So they, okay, Mace and Heirlove Po are going to be making their way towards Kal'Koz. And it's the same thing for Unajetzi and Fi. What we should probably do, okay, so it won't take Mace and Heirlove and Po a tremendous amount of time.

They're already in the forest, so it should only take them close to, probably less than a day to get to where, actually, less than, about six, seven hours, somewhere in there, to get where they need to go. So, here's what we're going to do. Let's catch up with Unajetzi and Fi, and I would imagine that right around the point, let's see, from Durnhollow, right around Betrail Ridge, somewhere in there, I would imagine they'd have to make some kind of camp. Just to rest for the day. Because they have been on the road for days now on horseback, and it, I mean, even with the urgency of the situation, it would be a good idea to get some kind of rest.

So, how would Fi be feeling right about now? Like, he's kind of only got one arm, he's kind of been through a lot, I would imagine he's, is he in pain, is he tired? Like, how is he feeling? Well, he's, yeah, he's absolutely exhausted, and his arm absolutely fucking kills him. But the, like, all the time that they're on the road, it's like, okay, we're going to this location, we can get there, we can get there, just concentrate on getting there. So, see, like, once we kind of make camp, it's just like, not necessarily pass out, but just like, do as little as possible and just try to keep his mind off of the pain and how exhausted he is.

That would make a hell of a lot of sense. What about everyone else? How is Jadzia feeling? How is Una doing? Let's start with Jadzia, actually. I think Jadzia would just be, like, sitting by the fire, just staring at it, because she can't sleep. What about Una? Honestly, Una's probably sleeping like a baby. Like, mouth open, doing a little snoring. Not troubled by anything, really. Valis is going to kind of walk over to Jadzia and kind of join her by the fire here. And he's just going to let loose this grunt as he sits down next to her. How are you feeling?

Tired, mostly. I want you to know I feel really badly about Vy's arm. That's not something that I would have done a few months ago. It was careless and I made a tremendous mistake. It wasn't your fault. It was an accident. And we were probably right. I mean, it would have been much worse if we found out that he had to cut off the rest of his arm later and he might have died. It's better to get most of the curse out, right? Well, even so. You gave me a very simple task and I managed to completely botch it. Well, to be fair, and she's going to make sure Una is sleeping first, and then she's going to go, "You tried to do it with a dagger." And then we didn't let you.

It would have been a bit more precise. I also feel like I could have done more in the fight to get away from that checkpoint. I'm just letting you know I'm going to make a more concerted effort to concentrate. Is something distracting you? The only thing I've ever been good at is killing. And it feels like recently I'm not even good at that anymore. I met a party. And ever since then, I've been incredibly distracted. I was a prisoner in Una Kahl. And though I had no freedom, I was a god in the arena. There was no one that could lay a finger on me. And then when I had the option to kill every single member of their party, I hesitated.

And ever since then, I just haven't been the same. So you were a slave? For a while, yes. And she's going to blink and look over at Valus and look a little bit confused. Why were you a slave? It makes sense that Darmok was able to have me. I was weak and powerless. You're strong. And she's going to pat him on the back like, "Wow, you're really big. Look at you." [Laughter] And he's kind of... you're kind of dragging it out. He doesn't really want to talk about how he became a slave. I made the mistake of trusting someone. And they ended up betraying me. I was sold into slavery by the Nuval and taken to Una Kahl.

I stayed there for almost a month. That's when I met the party I was talking about. There was a woman there. I would have killed every single member of their party except for her. And in turn, she killed me. Huh? To her credit, she brought me back. It's almost like a... "Oh yeah, I lived. Don't worry. I'm okay." Does anyone in this party stay dead? I actually grew to enjoy her very much. But in the end, I have a feeling she saw me just as a monster. It's what most people see me as. At best, I was a guard dog. And you can kind of see him staring off into the middle distance thinking about it.

Gypsy is going to say... Wait, does she know where Una Kahl is? Should I do a check for that? Do a history check. History check. 15. Does she know? You know the roundabouts. Like, on the map. It's like in the southeast, right? Like somewhere in there. So after you left her, you came here. Why would you come here? This is not a safe place for a tiefling. There are few places that are. I'm actually here looking for someone. A young girl. While I was trapped in Una Kahl, I actually spent time with her sisters. The group that I spoke of murdered the two of them. They didn't really have a choice.

But all the same, I made a trek to find her mother and tell her and she told me about her last remaining daughter who lived in the area. The last I know of her whereabouts, she lived in Winterhaven. So, apart from this girl, the one that you liked very much, you didn't leave anyone behind? I have a mother who lives in Brightport, but she can take care of herself. She doesn't need me to protect her anymore. I have a feeling she'll be doing much better, actually. She still owns a shop and is partnered with a very annoying little gnome. I hear it's their nature.

This one is particularly greedy. This may be none of my business. In fact, I'm sure it's none of my business. But you shouldn't hide your scars. While Darmok was undressing you, I'm guessing your entire body is covered in burns. That's why you dress the way you do. Judsy is like, the second he says Darmok's name, she's going to tighten up quite a bit. And then she's just going to nod and she's going to say, once when I was 16 at the time, Darmok didn't feed me for a few weeks and I fell down and Jeffrey helped me out. Darmok saw that and he called me a whore and he said he'd make it so no man would ever want to touch me besides him.

Not every tiefling is like Darmok. And those scars should be a badge of honor for you. A constant reminder that no matter what he did to you, you're still here. You're alive and despite all of his power and his influence, he's dead. You've won. You should wear them with pride. Do you have any scars? Valis is going to loosen his breastplate here on his armor. And as he takes it off you can see that he is coated in his scars. Knife wounds and just cuts and it looks to be burns. And as he's taken off his armor there even appears to be this bite wound on his forearm.

He is just coated in them. And killing is the only thing I've ever been good at so I found a lot of work as a shield hand or hit man. The scars kind of come with the territory. And Jodzia is kind of going to blush and turn her head away and she's going to nod. Thank you. The only person who saw my scars before you and the rest of them was my father and Darmok of course. I thought I should keep them hidden just so people wouldn't see him when they looked at me. I would see them as a sign of strength. And he kind of breaks his middle distance there and he's just kind of looking at Jodzia now.

They did nothing to diminish your beauty. And then he's going to break eye contact again and just kind of stare back into the middle distance. I think Jodzia is just going to turn bright bright red and say, "Okay I think maybe we should try to sleep." That would be a very good idea. And he's just going to get up and kind of hurry away almost. Kind of like a school kid who just... I like you very much. And then he just... Tugs her hair and runs away. Well I think it's time to officially get you guys back together. Everyone would pretty much be arriving at the same time to Kal'Koz.

Everyone would kind of be getting into this clearing simultaneously. Within a half hour of each other somewhere in there. Which is pretty much simultaneous when you're traveling long distances like you guys are. Let's say that Mason, Erelov, and Poe have arrived first. Okay. And Una, Jadzia, Fi, and Valus would be arriving shortly after. This is awkward. This is going to be quite awkward. Everyone roll a perception check. I want to see what you guys would see. Cool. 15. 17. 20. Oh yeah, I guess I'd better roll perception for Valus. And Poe. And Poe, yeah. Jesus, 27 for Poe.

Christ. His perception is higher than mine, isn't it? No. He just nailed it. Oh, oh, I see. I was looking at the wrong number. Sorry. No, that's pretty much your... That's your bag as perception. And Valus gets a 13 for perception. That makes sense because he is not perceptive. Well, let's go down the list. Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. Yeah. Good god. This is the first Grimness interaction we're going to have where two Grimnesses are in the same room at the same time. Yes it is. Grimness. Well, son of a bitch. Why do you think I'm so nervous? Yeah, I, yeah.

I can't wait to get ahold of Malchus. One more week. Sorry. It's almost sexy what I'm going to do with him with a fucking blade. It's, I, sorry. I'm really hoping that thing happens where his rolls get good all of a sudden. Because that would be really embarrassing if Malchus just takes him apart. So, Erlov will, okay, Erlov will definitely notice the party coming opposite, opposite this field. And she will definitely notice Valus, who kind of stands head and shoulders above the rest of the party. Let's see, Una will notice Po. And she'll also notice Erlov and Mason, though she's never met Mason.

So that would just be kind of a dude to her. Has briefly met Erlov, which didn't go well. If you recall, they're not the best of meetings. Fi would also notice the party opposite the field here. Are they, I presume they're of the Overwatch uniform. Yes. Like they'd still have the taverns on and stuff. They'd still, yeah. Even Po. I did painstakingly unstitch the insignia off of my cloak though. It was in my journal. Yes, that's true. You did say that. Your compatriots though, did not. No, they're pretty obvious. Yeah, you're still wearing the colors. Yeah, so Po is going to kind of lock eyes with Una across the field.

And start to make his way towards her. Not even a little bit tentative. Like he's going to march straight at Una. He's going to call out her name and it's kind of, not aggressive, but definitely to just snap at her, get her attention. Una! Okay, leap off the horse, pull out the hammer and start striding towards him. Wait, was it your turn? Oh, maybe not. But that's what I'll do when I'm done. Okay, well this would be like, he would, she would, yeah. Okay. Say once, now you gotta wait your turn to here. Okay, so you're charging at him with a hammer. Not charging, but like, got the hammer out, walking towards him, purposefully.

Okay. You're really going to want to put that away, Una. I'm not here to fight. Why the fuck are you here then? Kind of a long story. I'd be happy to tell you about it again after you put the hammer away. And he's going to take, he's going to take one step forward towards you. That hammer is not going away. Okay. I'm going to raise it a little bit, but I'll put the shield, like, I don't know, put it on my back where the fuck I do with my shield. Okay, so you, okay. Alright, so this is kind of a situation where you're both, you're both just kind of standing there, you know, neither one of you wants to back down, it appears.

Alright, look. I feel like we're getting off to a bad start here. Me and my friends over here have a lot of explaining to do, that's fine. And I'll be happy to do that, but, come on, look around. We're surrounded by elves and ravens. Obviously, it's okay for us to be here, right? That doesn't make me want to not hit you any less. Well, and he's going to take one more step towards you. The way I see it, I owe you one, if anything. So, we could turn this into a fight. When did you stop being a little bitch? Like, smiling now, like kind of like, "Ah, like, you're not a little bitch anymore as much, that's cool." Like, kind of like, more friendly in a weird way.

Right. And this smile's going to kind of creep across his face. Ah, rumors of my bitchliness have been greatly exaggerated. And he's got his fist clenched. Like, he's waiting for you to take a swing at him. Like, he's waiting for you to not listen to reason. I can vouch for that. Okay, I'm going to, like, put the hammer away and just kind of like, give him a look. Like, do tell. Ah, the rest of your party want to join us? Because I'd rather not have to explain this like three or four times. I guess I'll like, turn around to V and Jadzia and Valus and just kind of like, "You guys." If he, um, V would have, as soon as he had seen them, probably like, put his hand on his sword, like, ready to draw, if anything.

As soon as, like, Una put the hammer away, he would have relaxed a bit and walked up behind her. Okay. So, I'm, I'm, I'm, so the two parties are going to kind of converge on each other slowly, I'm guessing? Like, this is kind of... My eyes are on Valus the entire time. At this point, Valus would have noticed Air Love as well. Like, this is, like, you kind of, you, imagine coming into this valley and there's tons of people. It's, it's like crossing a busy, like, airport, something like that. There's, there's tons of people. And then, you, you start to kind of pick people out of the crowd and then once you see the two parties, it's like, "Oh, shit, okay." Uh, Valus is going to start independently walking, like, whether the party keeps up or not is of little consequence.

He's going to walk towards Air Love. She looks kind of pissed off at first, but then it looks like, uh, she's having a hard time maintaining it. Her lip starts to quiver a little. She's still got her arms, like, crossed over her chest and, like, trying to look pissed off, but it looks like she's probably going to cry. Um, and he, he's going to get, he's going to get within about five feet of her. And he's kind of looking you up and down and he's noticing the tavern and the, uh, like, the, the colors and everything. It's obvious you were, either were with the Overwatch or were still with them.

I didn't think the Overwatch took in Tieflings. It's great to see you too, Valus. Um, and then there's, there's kind of a long silence. Um, and he is going to try to reach over and, uh, kind of put, uh, his hands on Air Love's shoulders. She doesn't do anything to stop him. Um, and then after a couple of seconds he's going to kind of, like, draw her into a hug. She would probably, like, start sobbing against his chest and wrap her arms around him. Um, while that's going on, good God, there's a lot of people in this party. Let's, uh, this is good practice for next week.

Okay, at this point, does anyone, like, anyone who would like to say something, go right ahead. Anyone who wants to address something, go right ahead. And then we'll get, we'll start hammering at catching up with the two groups. Uh, I was just going to say, can I make a perception check, just unlike everyone and everything that's around in the camp, obviously, because there's been a couple of changes. Yes. The people who have arrived. Uh, perception. 22. Um, you're seeing a lot more, uh, a lot more faces here than the last time. The last time you were here it looked a lot more like combatants.

These look a lot more like civilians. No armor, no weapons. Some of them are missing limbs, some of them are quite obviously sick or weak or very old. Like, a lot of the people that you saw last time you were through here looked able-bodied and kind of ready to take up arms. These new people don't look that way at all. Um, and, um, it would appear as though something traumatic has happened in the last, uh, in the last few days. Um, the party opposite you, obviously, is from the Overwatch. That's, that's, that's pretty obvious. Uh, and again, as Poe brought up, they're standing in the middle of the, um, they're standing next to Kalkas, essentially, so it's not, it's a similar, you're, you're, you're picking up, it's probably a similar situation to either they were captured or they defected.

Those are the only two options that would leave them still alive. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, he, he, he isn't going to say anything. He's just looking around and taking everything in. Mason? Yeah. Um, Mason's gonna look over everybody and find the one that, uh, was described by Marcus and kind of points over and says, "You're Fi, ain't ya?" Yeah, I am. Who are you? You see him just kind of vibrate a little bit. Just, he looks really mad. Who I am is not important here. I guess what really is important is, he, like, looks around, just kind of, like, takes it, like, you know, making a grand display of everything around.

Is, was this worth it? Was this, all of this worth walking away? I didn't exactly walk with any determination. I was pushed into a situation and I had to go with it. Anyway, you know who I am, so you could at least do, do the, um, the honors of telling me who you are. Sure, sure. I'm Mason Darktree. I'm, uh, ex-Overwatch, just like you. Short stint in, uh, Crimson Shield, just like you. In which case, is it worth it? Yeah, man. Look, he's like, just, he definitely seems like he's just minutes away from grabbing at his weapon, but he's trying to hold himself back.

He's like, "I don't know how to tell you this, man. You walked away and they made an example of somebody very important to you." What do you mean? They hung your mom. They what? They hung, they hung Flo, man. Look, she, they, first off, first off, the motherfuckers threw her in the arena with us. Man, she wasn't expecting to live through that. And then, and then they pull her out and the next thing you know, she's dropping in the stocks. What the hell, man? I'm, I'm going to fucking murder who was responsible. Who was it? And he, uh, he, he, he, like, steps, like, really close to Mason.

That was, that was fucking captain, now commander, Chaden Tenbolt. I'm going to fucking murder him. Um, Poe's gonna, Poe's gonna start talking to Una here. All right. Uh, kind of owe you an explanation. Yeah, you fucking do. They murdered Flo? Yeah. Um, all right. And he's gonna kind of look over at Jadzia. It was the same day they hung Commander Grace. Jadzia's eyes are just gonna like go straight up and she's almost like frozen in place. They hung him? As, as a traitor. Yeah. They, my understanding is that they fabricated evidence and made it look as though he had aspirations of helping you after you had left.

Oh God. And she's just gonna kind of cover her face and step back. Like she wants to run away. And he's, he's, he, he, he can see this as like killing her. Like he doesn't want to do this. And he's, Poe's gonna kind of step forward towards Jadzia a bit. Gonna shove him back a little bit. And he's, like, he's trying to, he's trying to keep his patience with Una and it's, it's definitely running out. Like he's, he's, he kind of cuts it like, bitch, I'm trying to do something here. He said he loved you very much. And I, I know that's not much of a comfort, but those were his last words.

I should also probably tell you that I know for a fact he was very proud of you. Even, even after you left and what you accomplished within the military, it, it meant a lot to him. Um, I'm, uh, I'm a white raven and so is he. And I, I, and he's, he's kind of putting his hand up. I know this is a lot to drop on you right now. I understand that, but we don't have a tremendous amount of time. So any questions you want to ask, please go right ahead. But you said they fabricated the evidence. If he was really a white raven. It was a complete shot in the dark.

Um, it was just to get him out of the way. Tenbolt wanted him gone so he can take over and move the military into Winterhaven immediately. I tried to do everything I could to stop it, but I couldn't do anything short of blow my cover. And then I'd just be hung too. The best I could do is try and get word to everyone here. And hopefully that group Bree trusts gets back here with some kind of military force because Winterhaven's gone if not. Does Valus notice that he said Bree? Uh, let me roll perception on that actually. Cause he's kind of preoccupied. 13 again.

Thank you, Valus. Um, um, that, I am a little hungry. Uh, yeah, he's, that wouldn't quite have landed, no. Like he wouldn't have made the connection anyway. I'm guessing you saw troops on the road by now? Several thousand were forged. Well shit, he's kind of just, Rotswell told the Overwatch about the location of the raven's headquarters. And we've spent the better portion of a week defending it. And the gate. And then he kind of like, he's scanning your eyes for recognition of what the gate is like. Oh, that's a whole other story to tell you, jeez. Can Jud see a roll to see what's at the gate?

Just, like, with that being a story? Uh, yeah. Roll a history check, please. Fuck yeah, I know about the gate. Which would make sense because Jud see us all up on the magic mojo, so, um, uh, yeah, these things have several names. People kind of call them by different things because they're not entirely sure what they were originally designed to do. But, him talking about the gate, that would definitely be like, "Whoa, do you mean blah blah blah?" There would definitely be recognition there. Would Jud see and know them as? Yeah. Well, I mean, again, they're called different things, like the elves call them something different from what the dwarves would call them.

But humans pretty much refer to them as gates. Right. I was gonna be like, "What's the most evil-sounding gate name possible?" The hell gates? The gates of blood? The infernal ones? Blood-void inferno gates. Yeah, those. Sexy. What was this before? Powered by the blood of the innocents, right? Oh yeah. They've been doing it wrong, they just have to slaughter a few children in front of them. Well, they've come to the right place, because you guys. Oh, come on. Alright, let's get back into character. So Jadzia's crying, alright. Okay, so you said, "Fee steps forward." No, no, slaughter the children.

Oh, oh. Trying to get back into character. A lot of children. Una will just be comforting Jadzia, holding her or whatnot, patting her on the head, comforting emotions. She pulls a dinner roll from the map. Stumps into her mouth. When did you get good at this, Una? Wipes the tears away with the dinner roll. Red solves everything. And Jadzia's just gonna kind of like half whisper that she was going to apologize to him, like I was going to apologize to him. Just kind of rocking a little bit, but she's not crying. She's trying really hard not to cry. I would have stopped it if I could.

I promise you I would have. There's really nothing. Me and Marcus kind of watched the whole thing. And I'm positive that Marcus had something to do with it. Oh, that fucking cowardly bastard. Just like vibrating with rage. What kind of check would Jadzia have to do to know something about Marcus? Personally? Like the fact that he can fake documents, for example. Like how would she know that that's one of his talents? You could roll a history check. Oh yeah. Because that would be- Jesus. Gavin was here. He would have known. Yeah, Gavin would have known. But I mean that would be- Considering Jadzia's been in the military for a while and Commander Grace was her father, like it would be like she might know a little more about like her party members or the potential party members before she was placed in that group.

So it might be something where it's like, "Oh, she knows a little bit more history than someone else would have." With a 29? Yeah, that would be something that Jadzia would know. That'd be a little tidbit. Again, it's like, "Huh, that kind of plays into something I know he can do." That type of thing. I know that he can forge documents. He's the one who did it. I'm sure of it. And she's like shaking, like trying to hold back like some sort of fire that's gonna take over. Motherfucker. He's going to die. He's going to die horribly. So, Fee, when you're stabbing the hell out of a ten bolt, let's turn our attentions to another motherfucker.

Definitely. I'm fully with you there. Valus is gonna kind of sidle up next to Jadzia and kind of put his hand on her shoulder. Poe's gonna kind of continue after you guys defected. I saw where they were putting together a new Crimson Shield or rebuilding the ranks. I lined it up with Commander Grace and kind of begged and pleaded to get into the group. Marcus took over as leader and Mason and Aralove here. And he kind of like turns his attention to those two. They ended up defending the gate with me for days. I mean, when push came to shove, we were asked to go kill innocents and children.

And they wouldn't do it. And he's kind of looking back and forth at the two groups. This is really awkward. How long have you been a White Raven? He's gonna look at him in a little over a year. I mean officially. I think maybe I owe you the chance to punch me. He thought you were going to say "apology." And he goes to put his hand up like "oh no no no" and then you say "punch me" and his hand like slowly curls up into a fist. Like man, that would be sweet. Ah, no. No no no. No no no. And he kind of like puts his hand away. Look, you didn't know. I mean, as far as you're concerned, I just beat the shit out of one of your prisoners you were protecting and I know how you are about your vows.

It's fine. I kind of had to... If you don't punch me, I have to apologize. The vaguest of smiles kind of curls up around his face. Don't you dare. Actually, I'd kind of like to hear you apologize for something. I've never actually heard you apologize for anything. Ever. Come on, Poe. It doesn't have to be like this. I mean, I've been hitting stuff now for a while. I kind of would like to rest. It would make me feel much better about you humiliating me. And me letting you win that fight, by the way. Is that how it was? I mean, come on. You trained with it. Do you want to start this shit again, Poe?

I will apologize. But you did not let me win that fight. I will harass you any day of the week. How many times have you ever seen me piss myself in a fight, Una? That was pretty funny. But okay. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I couldn't quite hear that. Just one more time, please. This ear is a little... This one doesn't hear so well. Yeah, I'm just going to pull out her hammer. He's going to be like, "Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay." Apology accepted. Thank you. That was very mature of you. I was going to spit. At him? Like, the apology tastes bad. Just like, "Blah!" Just get it out of my mouth.

And then he kind of pays attention to Phee and Jadsey again. He's like, "This probably isn't the time to laugh. I'm sorry." We're still kind of waiting for Bree and Leora. Let me roll another Perception check for Valus. Seven. All right. Stay the course, Big Val. He's probably trying to divide his attention, you know. Yeah, let's go with that. He could literally meet Brianna and she would come up and shake his hand and be like, "Hey, I'm Brianna!" And he'd roll a one and not realize. Well, at that point he doesn't need to roll. He just has to not be retarded.

Hodor? He just has to, like... He just has to... Valus turns into a Pokemon. Valus, Valus, Valus. You can do a cute one with the high pitch. That's cute. That was beautiful. Thanks. I spent most of my childhood practicing that, so... I don't know much math. Who the fuck needs maths? I got Pokemon impressions, goddammit. No, I know. That's what makes it adorable. You're not trying to be adorable. Po is gonna kind of start paying attention to Phee. I remember him having two arms. Phee's gonna wave his stump.

Fucking cavalier, Jesus Christ. Valus is just gonna... He's just gonna look away just a little bit. Innocent whistling. We had an incident with a vampire bite and a crazy tiefling. Po's gonna look up at Valus like, "That guy?" No, different tiefling. This one's not crazy, he's just surly. Po's just gonna nod at Valus like, "Hey." For the first time, he's like, "Hey." Um... Yeah, that pretty much brings you up to speed. Insurmountable odds. Army's moving this way. Gonna try and crush Winterhaven. We're still waiting on that group to get back. And until then, we're just trying to defend the cave and the gate.

For those of you who don't know, what Finway could work out was that these gates are used for some sort of instantaneous transportation. They're portals. It takes a massive amount of power to even operate it for a few seconds, and the only person that's been able to keep it open enough to actually have someone step through is Brianna. So it's very much something for the future. And in the wrong hands, you can imagine what would happen if they had someone or something powerful enough to open it up and, let's say, just instantaneously move 5,000 troops towards Winterhaven.

You could see where that would be a huge problem. Or towards Eivorach. Exactly. And he's kinda like bingo. Which is why we can't lose that thing. Can I roll a religion check to see if the gates have any kind of religious connotation or can be fueled in that way? Sure. You'd kinda have to, like, if you were gonna cross-reference that it would be like, well, you've seen it actually, so never mind. You've actually been there. Like you were in the cavern with the gate. I'm sure we've wandered at some point, yeah. It's like, why the hell are we risking our lives?

What are we risking our lives for? Let's take a look. 28. There doesn't seem to be anything religious directly tied to it. It's at least no particular god. This seems to be more of an invention of man. Like this seems to be something that people created. Okay. It's made of people. John Cena's gonna ask to see the gate. Yeah, I can take you to it. I have a feeling that after we catch some people up here that that's probably where we're heading back to. Honestly, Marcus, I have a feeling he's coming back for it. Or at least sending someone for it. I don't think he's the type of person who takes failure lightly.

That was their last mission, was to take over the cave, take the gate, and destroy anything else inside. I'm guessing they were there to take the gate anyway after they find it. Yeah, yeah, long story short, yeah, I can take you to it. About that time, Brianna and Liara are gonna come riding into this clearing here. And both of them are going to approach Poe and give him this big hug. And he's gonna hug them back. And Brianna's gonna look at Unafi and Jadzia and how did you guys make out with them. And then she's going to scan over to Fi. What the hell happened?

Fi's gonna wave his stump again. And he goes, "Well, you know that crazy tiefling? He is crazy. He kind of stabbed me in exchange for taking the vampirism out of Jadzia. Put it in my hand. So, yeah. Luckily, Valus cut it and a bit extra off, just in case. And she's still kind of looking at it like, "That is creepy." Like the way you just waved at her with it, it's like, "Ugh." Well, it's still in his eyes. He hasn't got used to it. It's not his dominant hand. Right. So he keeps trying to use it as if there's a hand attached to the end of that. I think she'd be a little bit more sympathetic considering one of her best friends only has one eye.

It's not that she's not sympathetic. It's an adjustment. Like, "Oh, wow. Wait, who's Valus?" Fi looks around at the...at Valus. Okay. So Valus towers over Bri. Like, he is much larger. And she kind of looks up at him. "Hi." And then she looks back at Fi and he cut your arm off. It was the quickest way to solve all of the problems. Because we had killed, quartered, and buried Dharmok already. Liara is going to walk over to Jadzia and start pulling at her collar to see if she's, like, to check out this bite. Valus is going to reach over and grab her wrist. And there's a couple seconds where they're just looking at each other like...

Liara's not digging this. She's concerned about Jadzia to make sure that everything was kind of resolved. And Valus is taking that more as a violation of Jadzia's personal space. Because it just kind of happened a few days ago where someone was forcefully trying to undress her. And then after a couple of seconds, he's just going to kind of let go. Liara, she's fine. Trust me. She's fine. Look at her. You don't need to do that. You know, I told you guys the Blood Mage thing wasn't going to work out well. It worked out. All things considered, we just lost...a bit.

A bit of a party member as opposed to a whole party member. Alright. The important thing is, you're all here now. We are going to need your help. All of you. And she kind of turns around and is talking to Mason and Airlove and Poe. Meanwhile, at that point, Mason is, like, just in mid-point. Like, it gets quiet enough and he kind of whispers over, "Airlove, that's not the asshole brother, is it?" He looks over and is like, "Uh-oh." She wipes away some of the tears. She's still just kind of been standing over where Valus had been standing. She shakes her head a little.

"No, Mason, it's not." Poe is kind of like...he's definitely not whispering. Poe's not one to whisper too much. "Hey, you guys know each other." And he's kind of pointing between Airlove and Valus. "I don't want to be that guy. Are you related?" "I'm not saying all tieflings are related. I mean, do you seem to be pretty close?" "Yeah, that's uh...that's Valus. He's my brother." Poe's just kind of like, "Oh, Valus very much dislikes having the last name Grimnus. And he very much dislikes having that be a thing that's exposed. That's not something he enjoys." "But I didn't actually say the name." "No, but your last name is Grimnus, and if that's your brother...

Just anybody who takes like two seconds to figure that out." "So Brie's gonna realize I'm Malchus's sister, and everybody else is gonna realize that Valus is related to Malchus, and all that good stuff." "Yes!" "I rolled a 34 on Perception, by the way." "For what?" "For just kind of reading the reactions of people around me during the time when Brie and Liara first walked up and things like that." "Uh, what were you gonna say there, Brie?" "I was saying, um, at first, like when she hears that they're brother and sister, she relaxes for a second. Like, maybe she thought that this person might have been someone else they talked about recently, because she never asked what race this person was. And then she immediately looks like she realizes Grimnus, and she's like, "Oh, that makes it worse." "Yeah!" "Um, he's... yeah, he's kind of... if there was a way for him to be more diminutive, like just kind of pull back, he would.

But he kind of stands out, and he's just kind of like, he's out there now, it's like, "Ah, fuck, I don't want to deal with this." "And Brie's gonna kind of look him over too." "I'm gonna walk up to him and punch him in the arm." "Uh, Valus?" "Yes." "What was that for?" "She just clears at him." "Uh, so, Brianna, okay, this is a thing that she's wanted to talk to you about now for a while. And, of course, you kind of came into the clearing, Gavin exploded, and you left. She found out that you were Malka's sister, but at the same time, like, there was no way to talk to you about it or question you about it, or anything like that.

So, I never knew Malka's had siblings at all. He never talked about them, or... Actually, he never talked about any of his family." "That's because he abandoned us." "How do you mean?" "He left us without any kind of concern for what would become of us when he left us in Brightport. Do you know what kind of hell Brightport is?" "I've never been there, I've only kind of heard stories." "I'm sure he did it for some reason. I mean, he disappeared altogether. I mean, the short time I got to know him when I was a kid, he saved my life more than once, and then he just set all this in motion and then disappeared." "He was... he was my big brother.

He was with me for the first, you know, 20 plus years of my life, and then he disappeared. Left our home willingly, and we never heard from him again. And I just found out that he is no longer missing, and still nothing." "He's... he's been busy. I honestly don't... I'm sure that... I'm sure that as soon as we're done the war, he would have sought you out. He would have tried to find you.

I'm positive." "I kind of glance at Valus at that." "Valus is gonna like give the same stare back at Erelove, like, yeah, no, probably not." "Yeah, that's not likely. Keep in mind that he disappeared out of our lives far before the Bleak Ten and his disappearance for 17 years." "Look, we can talk about it later. I'm... you are not the first people to have a problem with Malchus, trust me." "You are his brother and sister, so that carries a little more weight, but we can trade stories later. Right now, we really need to get to the gate. I can tell you more about it when we get there, and we can hopefully defend it long enough that we can get to use it one day." "Are we going back to the caves?" "Breeze just kind of like nod her head." "He smiles just a little bit though.

He's like, great." "Are you the leader of the White Ravens?" "Oh, yeah, sorry. It's been a long week. Brown Ebonmare. And she puts out her hand." "Valus, roll a fucking Perception check!" "Go for it." "Take that as a no." "Yeah." "Alright. Erelove wanted to talk to Valus." "Yeah... more along the lines of just, like, give him a hard time about just walking off while she was crying, 'cause his girlfriend started crying." "Is that how you put it to him?" "Oh yeah." "Um... he's... he's... he's... he's..." "Well, kind of along the lines of, 'Really?

You're just gonna... you know, girlfriend sheds one tear and suddenly you have to be by her side?'" "She's not my girlfriend." "Well, I'm your sister. What the fuck?" "I also haven't seen you in quite a while." "I figured you can take care of yourself just for a moment." "You had no problem walking out. You seemed pretty self-assured then." "Maybe that was because I didn't have any kind of real concept of anything that has to deal with surviving in this world." "You know I did my best to protect you after Malkus left." "You also know that I told you what would happen if you went out on your own." "I told you what you'd find.

I told you about Malkus and who he was." "And yet, here we are. Fighting on his team." "I'm fighting for these people. I could care less about Malkus. I honestly don't believe he's alive." "I believe he's alive because of having spoken with someone who saw him face to face." "And I'm pretty good at reading people at this point." "Have you been to Winterhaven?" "Yes." "They've done everything but erect statues to him." "He's endangered their lives and cost them their original walls." "Countless hundreds would... they treat him like a god." "Well you remember how he was." "Always had to be in the front of everything." "Anytime there was a customer in the store he would be out there telling them a story or..." "Preaching to them about what he currently felt was his latest quest." "He's a fraud." "She just kind of shakes her head and..." "Looks like she could be on the verge of either being very pissed off or crying again." "Whether he's alive or not, let's just worry about this for now." "We'll deal with that if we get to it." "Alright.

I'm glad you're here." "It's nice to see you again." "How's mom?" "Doing better than us, actually." "She deserves it." "Is there anything anybody else wants to say before I kind of toss you into the thick of things?" "Is Bree riding with us?" "Yes." "Okay, yeah, he wants to ride up next to Bree and start up a conversation." "Yeah, so he kind of shows up next to her and goes, 'Hey, are you sleeping any better now?'" "Ah, pretty much the same really. I don't have a lot of time for sleep." "Yeah, how are your powers at the moment?" "They're fine. About the same I guess.

Why?" "Ever since I was resurrected, I've felt different." "I don't quite know how to explain it, but I feel as though something may have happened regarding when the blaster killed me." "It'll be easier to show you. He pulls out an arrow from his pack. I presume they're wooden?" "Yeah." "Okay, I'm just going to fire off a couple of my powers. They're at real miners, so it won't make that much difference." "So I'm going to use a sonic spark, and it's going to burst into flames. And I'm going to use object projection and teleport it five squares away from me." "And then I'm going to use telekinetic grasp and just move it about a bit, and then just chuck it on the floor." "Breeze is kind of watching, like, 'Okay, that's neat.' And you couldn't do that before?" "No, no.

I don't know how to explain how I know that I can do it and how I know that I couldn't do it before." "But you know when you can just feel deep inside yourself that you can or can't do something?" "Yeah, yeah. I think I can understand that. I'm really sorry about your arm. I feel responsible for that." "It's not your fault. Don't put that burden on you." "I know of someone who makes prosthetics in Winter Haven. Maybe we can get some money together and get you one?" "Yeah, Jadzia was saying about them as well. So yeah, we're hoping to... hopefully after all this is blown over, swing by, if not before." "I mean, it'll probably take a while, but at least we can kind of get that wheel in motion and that kind of make you whole again." "Sounds good." "Was it your good hand?" "Yeah, it was, but I'll adapt." "She's just gonna kind of nod her head.

Anybody else want to say anything? Because this is... alright, I'm gonna take that as a no." "Arriving at the Cavern." "Full blown anarchy." "There is a massive battle taking place." "Oh shit." "Everyone do me a favor and put your characters in this general vicinity right in here." "Let me show you what you're gonna be fighting." "Dicks." "Can we fight dicks?" "We're really good at that." "Yes you are. You guys get a plus five to fighting dicks, I know." "Wouldn't that be great?" "Let's see here... this is gonna be not great." "Alright, now as you're riding up you can see that there's just this huge skirmish going on." "Where it's ravens and elves in the cavern kind of defending this, but they're being overrun by this huge troop of warforged." "Who would like to roll a perception check for me to get a roundabout number?" "Probably Arlo's got the best perception right?" "Yep." "Yes." "Gorgeous, thirty five.

There's a contingent of warforged that look to be between eight hundred and a thousand." "You're not entirely sure if they were sent here to this specific location or if this was just really bad luck and they happened upon the large number of ravens and elves." "So whether it was on purpose or not this fight has broken out." "Now the good news is that help did arrive." "So you have about four or five hundred people on your side." "Now that isn't going to be enough to repel this entire wave unless you at least get in there and take out the big stuff." "Now let me explain what I mean by the big stuff." "There are several warforged troops here that are just kind of closing in around you." "And then there's the big stuff." "So, it looks to be three of the titans and five of the regular troops right now." "So let me go ahead and add them to the initiative tracker and you guys can go ahead and roll initiative." "Oh shit, I should add Poe and Valus too." "There we go." "You know you guys can speak too, you don't have to just type." "Intense." "You cockwaffle." "Jen also asked what a cockwaffle is and then said mmm dada pla." "But a cockwaffle would be putting someone's penis in a waffle maker and slamming it shut." "That's terrible, why would you do that?" "Because, fucking three titans." "Three titans." "Three." "Does that validate mutilation of men's genitals?" "Do you use a girl shell?" "Yeah, no, I've probably earned far worse for much less." "I do listen and it's appalling honestly." "As long as she doesn't act on it I'm okay." "It should be my middle name, it's not but it should be." "Yeah, these titans are gonna go first." "Every one of them." "This, you will not enjoy this." "If you live through this battle you get to make it to the big episode." "And I would have put group one through a similar situation but they just don't play anymore so it's tough to do that." "Sir, I have a question." "There's a disparity of level, is this going to be a problem?" "There is a disparity, it's going to be a challenge." "I like that." "It's going to be a challenge but the good news is this will earn you massive experience and this will most likely catch you up." "So yeah, I have thought about this." "If we had time before the show I probably would have leveled you up anyway just because of you defending the cave for days." "Aerilov is at half hit points." "You need a full rest?" "Did we have a chance to rest when we..." "Oh yeah, yeah." "Let me know when you guys are ready." "Let's get over with." "Do we all have an action point back?" "Everyone's got everything back." "This has been days since combat so everyone's got everything back, everyone's rested, everyone's ready to go, everyone's got dailies so good luck." "Let's do this." "Are Brie and Liara going to help?" "Oh good lord, I don't have them too." "Sorry, didn't add them to the thing, that was unintentional, I'm so sorry." "What about those sick and old people, can't they help out?" "Just make them run under their feet and trip them." "And when they fall on you try not to cry or anything, be obnoxious." "Oh good lord." "Alright, let's have that roll initiative." "Like your initiative noise." "That's the official DNR initiative noise." Warforged Titan number three, so this is shit yourself inducing, this is scary because the Warforged are bad enough, they're soulless red eyes, they don't stop, they don't show weakness, it's pretty intimidating. "Then you have these giant lumbering nightmares that are the Titans." "It's home motherfuckers." "And fuck Warforged, I'm way better than that, it's like a John Henry style type thing I'm thinking." "Oh shit." "Let's start off with the Warforged Titan using his hammer attack against Erolove." "And misses!" "They're rolling at a +16 guys, just letting you know, we're fucked." Yeah, wow, that is shit, okay. I do want to say me and Merlin had a conversation before this and my combat has been too softballish.

"It's true, Merlin, fuck." So this is my answer to that. He brought up a really good point. "Can you write your jokes tomorrow, Merlin?" "This is practice though, you'll want to be able to know how to defend against it before you go up against Overwatch." "Oh, you think this is bad? Oh my god, wait till you see- oh, you guys will be fighting a war, I mean, if you live, you'll be fighting a war, like I have horrible things." "We don't even have a healer." "You are technically the healer, actually, good word." "I have two fucking little hands!" "I know, I'm just saying!" Holy shit, okay, Warforged Titan #2 is going to move up to Mason and use his hammer and also miss, good lord.

"Fuck you!" 3 and a 7, wow. Warforged Titan #1, what's his default speed? Oh, 8, okay, yeah, never mind. Let's just walk up to Una. I thought they were a little slower, they're not, turns out. War Attack versus Una. Miss! Holy shit, that's three low rolls in a row, guys, that is amazing. "The Raven Queen is smiling on us." Okay, Poe is going to move, shit. I guess he's going to move forward to Warforged Titan #2 and use a daily finish it and miss. Oh god, that's a crit one. Shit. So that's a terrible start. "I thought we were doing concentrated fire, god damn it." Well, he's all the way on the other end of the...

"Yeah, yeah, fair enough." "I got your back." Alright. "If I live." Yeah. Warforged Soldier #3 is going to move towards Airlove and let's see, he uses... He's going to charge towards her, he's going to use Wild Charge. "How many spaces did he move?" He moved... Well, I don't know, I guess it's not really a charge, is it? Yeah. One, two, three. "As long as he moved, two." Yeah, three. So yeah. That is a hit to Airlove, so let's do damage. 18 damage. "I would like to do an immediate reaction." Okay. "Just pulling it up." "Alright, I'm going to use my Curseforged Armor, which has a daily power immediate reaction." "You can trigger this power when the enemy hits you with an attack, which he did." "That enemy takes a -2 penalty to attack roll save ends, and then if he saves against that, he'll have a -1 till save ends again." Okay.

"And that's it." Okay. "Liar is going to back up two spaces and use Bullseye Bolt against Warforged Titan II." "And that'll miss." Oh man, dude. "Heroic Effort?" Even with... "Balls." Not gonna work, yeah. "Fee, your turn." "Okey dokey. I'm gonna first fire off my daily, which is World Repulsion." "Gives me Resist Fire to all damage." "And then Tactical Trick, which gets me to move up to my speed." "So, I can go straight through other players, can't I?" Yes. "One, two, three, four." "And I don't provoke any opportunity attacks to leave in squares adjacent to allies." "And then, Mina basic attack on Titan number three." "That'll miss." Oh, everyone's missing everything.

Good good good. "Thanks, Jason." "I didn't rig the dice." Oh, hold on. "Plus two, because I had combat advantage." "I wasn't blaming you." "23." "That'll still miss." "Ah, fair enough." "Their AC is high." "Yep." "Anything else?" "No, that's everything." "Alright, Warforged number one." "Gonna use both of his move actions to get up to Brianna." "Aralove, your turn." "Alright, as a minor action, I'm going to use my encounter power of Maledictor's Doom, which immediately gives me 5/10 pit points." "Just for casting a minor... Oops, wrong person. Hold on." "Oh, I'm sorry, it's actually three, I believe." "Okay, so then, Maledictor's Doom is a minor action, close blast five." "It hits each enemy in the blast, and I'm going to blast it right in front of me so it hits Warforged Titans one and two." "Okay, or one and three." "Yeah, I'm sorry.

One and three." "And they'll take a negative one penalty to attack rolls and saving throws until the end of my next turn." "And whenever the target is hit by a fear attack before the end of my next turn, I push the target one square as a free action." "Okay, negative one to attack rolls, that's a good thing." "And saving throws." "And saving throws." "And then I'm going to follow that up with Invocation of Ice and Fire, which is also a close blast five, and it's each creature in blast." "But I'm going to target it in the same way so I won't hit Fia or Una." "Okay." "And that one I have to attack to make it work." "And the other way there's going to be flaming hail coming down and all that good stuff." "But let's see if I hit him." "That was critical." "Okay, gorgeous." "And that was a hit." "Both are hit." "So it'll do some damage. Let's roll that." "Oh, don't forget your extra, I think, one-day six because of your magic item for the crit person." "You'll probably want to roll that in advance." "I can just add it on too. That would be on my weapon to double check that it's a die six." "One d8 on critical." "Even better." "I got a seven on the d8 so I'll add that into my person here." "They're talking about splitting the party in the chat horribly because you split the party to fuck a hooker." "I saw someone say girth but g3 split the c." "I got 24 damage on titan number three and 17 damage on titan number one." "Gorgeous.

Good, good, good. Anything else?" "Yes, sorry I accidentally muted myself." "The blast creates a zone and I see you have that up there." "Any creature that starts its turn within that zone takes five cold and fire damage." "I can sustain it with a miner if I would like." "Okay." "Also, as a no action attack power on my staff." "Because I hit a creature adjacent to me using my staff as an implement, I can push him one square and knock him prone." "Ooh." "Well I guess that would be both of them. So just one square back away from me and then prone." "Alright, both the titans.

Wow that's pretty awesome." "Does that prove it?" "No because it's a force of movement." "Alright, both of them have been pushed back one square and prone. Anything else?" "That's it for now." "Okay, Warforged Soldier #5 is going to charge forward at Mason and use Wild Charge." "That is a hit. 16 damage." "Noted." "Same thing with Warforged Soldier #2, he's going to Wild Charge Una." "And totally whiff and miss and be awful. Una, your turn." "Okay, well I wanted to hit titan #1, but I don't want to step into that shit storm." "So I guess I'm going to have to go after the one stupid one." "So I guess I'll go... one, two, three, perfect." "Valorous Knight, Warforged Soldier #2." "That is a hit." "Beautiful.

Damage..." "27! Wait a minute. You have bloodied it, yes." "And then that, each enemy within three squares of me is subject to Divine Sanction." "Alright." "Mark 'em all." "They are going to take damage because they're fuckers." "Uh, that's a good reason as any." "Mason, your turn." "Alright. So I got one up in my face." "I really do want to make sure that we start eliminating these things so we can take care of the real problem." "I think I'm going to capitalize on the fact that Warforged Soldier there is being hit by Una." "And I'm going to sprint up here after activating my Berserker's Charge." "He's going to ditch the Warforged Soldier, push right past him, and then do a charge with my Melee Basic." "Okay.

That's an opportunity attack." "It actually is not. I got my necklace, the batch of the Berserker." "Oh, that's right, you did." "As long as I'm charging. And I totally am." "It's cool. I know, it's totally not something normally the rules allow, so..." "And that's a hit. Damn near. Great." "Alright, let's do some damage." "Let's knock this bitch out in the first round. That'd be awesome." "17." "17 damage. He looks to be very wobbly. That rocked him." "Alright." "Anything else?" "That's my turn." "Jadzia, your turn." "Jadzia is going to give Valus a look and then kind of nod at him, like, 'Take care of yourself.' But she's going to run this way." "3, 4, 5, 6.

And she's concealed. Don't forget, don't forget about concealment." "Don't do it." "And then I'm going to curse the big guy number 2, the titan number 2." "And then I'm going to use Flames of Phlegithos." "And I'm going to use my special rod here so that it'll do an extra 1d8 if it hits." "Which is fucking better." "Yeees!" "We're going to add a 6 and we're going to add a 8. And we're going to do damage." "Bip!" "27 damage." "It's going to take 27 plus 13." "Okay, 13 damage. That was probably smart targeting reflex. Just going to throw that out there." "And it's going to take an ongoing 5 fire damage save ends." "Okay.

Ongoing 5 fire damage." "Oh, and then, that thing I did with Valus, did that count as my minor action?" "Yeah." "Alright, my Helm of Seven Deaths has an effect." "Choose one... nope, never mind. He's not bloodied yet. Never mind. That won't work yet." "Okay." "Alright." "Let's see, Wolf-ford Soldier number 4 is going to... 1, 2, 3, 4." "It's going to move into Poe here." "We're going to do a wild charge and swing at Poe and that's a miss. Man, I can't hit anything today." "Brianna's turn. Well, shit. She's kind of locked down." "She steps up one here, then perhaps you could knock him diagonal this way with a punch." "Yeah, it's pretty much what she's going to have to do here." "So, force punch to Soldier number 1.

Good God, that's a hit. 28 damage." "And, let's see, knocked back." "Pinball him into his buddy." "Yeah, both of these guys are going to fall prone." "And, that'll bring up Valus. He's going dead last." "Let's see here. 1, 2, 3. Valus is going to use... just swing his broadsword at Wolf-ford Soldier 2." "That is a hit. 14 damage. That will kill him." "Awesome." "And, that'll end his turn. Wolf-ford Titan 3 is going to stand up and he is going to..." "Take 5 damage for starting his turn in the Ice and Fire." "Yes, he does. He does do that." "He's going to use hammer swing at Erolove.

They have something called 'threatening reach'. Let me talk about how big these are and how large their arms are. They have a reach of 3." "I'm okay with that." "Okay. Just to let everyone else know that they can swing outward 3 squares in any direction and hit." "And, also do opportunity attacks for that distance." "I can do it for 2 squares." "Yes." "I can hit things from like 10 squares, guys." "Well, I don't take opportunity attacks when I'm using ranged attacks in their face either." "Niner, neiner." "Oh my god! Erolove does, however, take 27 damage." "Yay!

I'm almost dead." "Might as well retaliate and burn in." "I will, yes, definitely. I'm going to use my Infernal Rask." "That'll reduce Erolove to 4 hit points, everyone." "The Titan is going to take 9 damage for that." "I don't know if we're not attacking you. Good, good." "Would 26 hit you still?" "Oh shit, because it does the 3 things." "Actually, your AC isn't quite 25, is it?" "My AC is 25." "Oh, this is Erolove, just kidding." "So, does the Titan swung at her?" "Yeah." "But it can hit all 3 of us?" "No, no, no. What I'm saying is that it has a reach of 3, which means it can reach out, it can hit you." "You don't have to be adjacent to him.

You can be 3 squares away and he can still hit you." "So that means you took, what, 11, I believe, with the Warforged Titan?" "Is your stats now, you've been increasing your strength and charisma, right?" "Yes, I have." "Okay, cool. So that means he's going to take 11 retaliatory damage." "And also 8 from the Infernal Wrath." "Nice. Damn, screw you, dude." "Very good. Okay, uh..." "5, yes. 5 ongoing fire damage. Good. Keep up. Keep reminding me, because there's a lot to keep track of." "And he did take the 5 for starting his turn in that thing, right?" "This is 2." "Oh." "Yeah.

Hammer attack versus Poe. Oh, that'll hit." "34 damage to Poe that will bloody him down to 21 hit points." "Oh my god." "Warforged Titan is going to take 5 damage for starting in the shits there, and..." "So I feel like we should hang up those posters like they do for bands, for drummer wanted, we should just go around and be like 'healer wanted.' 'Any fucking healer, except for one. Any of the other healers will take." "Do you... man, I... pacifists need not apply." "Yes." "Good lord, Ham... okay, well, let's see here, uh... Titan number 1 is going to use his hammer against Mason, who's standing right there.

That'll miss." "And fuck you." "Plus the 8 from our love, too." "I hate to help you out, Jason, but you also didn't roll for the fire damage, you can... the save ends there." "Oh! Yes! Forgot. Thank you." "Frowny points." "1. Never mind. Well, that's still..." "I didn't know that crit was wasted." "Wow." "Oh, jeez. Uh, Po... can you throat punch a Titan? Hell yeah!" "He just has to jump up in the air." "He has to believe. He has to believe. What is it?" "Can the Titan get the damage taken off?" "Yeah." "I don't think that bloody thing, and it freaks me out." "Oh, jesus." "You know what?

Actually, he's going to use Sword Dance." "Uh, he's going to attack Warforged Soldier #4." "That'll hit." "Uh, damage... uh, 10 damage to him." "Then he's going to shift over to, uh, and make another sword swing at Warforged Soldier #1." "That's gonna miss. Shit. That sucks." "Uh, jesus. Warforged Soldier #3..." "...uh, is going to make a Scimitar attack versus Airalove." "Uh, that'll hit." "11 damage to Airalove. That'll down her." "Okey-dokey." "Uh, Liara." "All right, let's try and take care of some of these damn Warforged here." "She's going to shift right in front of Jadzi and use, uh, keep him separated." "Uh, and attack, uh, soldiers #1, #4, and #5." "Uh, that'll hit #4." "Uh, that'll hit #1, and that'll hit #5." "So, damage..." "Uh, 15 damage to all of them." "Oh, wait.

Hold on." "Yeah, okay." "Yeah, 15 damage to all of them there, and they will also be restrained." "The one still on the ground prone." "Yeah." "Uh... Fie, your turn." "As a reminder real quick, the area of effect is gone because my character is no longer conscious." "Ooh, shit. Yeah, okay." "Uh... okay, he says..." "Okay, so, uh, where are we?" "Uh, Amber's Trick, which gets me combat advantage against, uh, #3." "Um, that's, uh, not the Titan, the, um, the other one." "It's more the Warforged." "Um, and then..." "Just a melee basic." "Uh, hit." "Gorgeous." "So...

I'm gonna say #2..." "2d8 for sneak." "15." "Awesome." "Damage..." "25." "Okay." "And that is everything." "Alright." "Oh, man, uh..." "Warboard Soldier 1, uh, is restrained and has to make a saving throw here." "Saving throw, he is no longer restrained." "Uh, Airlove, go ahead and make a saving throw, please." "Death saving throw to be specific." "Yes, sir, and I get a +5 bonus on that." "Hey!" "She's back in the game." "You get to come back!" "I am conscious." "Hop yourself a Healing Surge." "Warforged Soldier #5 is also restrained. He is going to... he is no longer restrained." "Boona, your turn." "Okay, um..." "Yeah, fuck." "Um, step forward..." "Because I don't have awesome fucking reach." "And, you know what? Let's... let's pop a daily." "Uh oh." "Um, I feel like that's tolerable." "Um, this one is, uh, versus Will." "Which problem?" "Uh, on Pain of Death, on #1." "Okay." "That is a hit!" "What?" "Fuck yeah.

Oh, almost a crit." "Okay, um, bummer because I don't get to use my awesome hammer, but..." "Um..." "21 damage for a daily, which is kind of pathetic, but..." "Um..." "It takes 1d8 damage, um, after making attacks on its turn, save ends." "Okay." "Uh, anything else?" "Um..." "Maybe you guys have all your action points, just, uh, just as a reminder." "Oh, that does sound nice." "Um..." "I don't know if people..." "Shit." "All this shit." "Haha, funny, um..." "The more you know." "Arlo, do you need a..." "Do you need a lay on hands?" "I'm sorry, what?" "Do you need a lay on hands? Is there any way to get, like, healing back otherwise, or..." "Um, that would probably be a good thing, yes." "Okay, um..." "Thank you." "How do I move over there to do that?" "You shift?" "Uh, I already shifted once, though." "Ooh." "That is, uh, yeah." "Okay, I guess I'll just shout, like..." "Hey, come over here!" "What, what, what, what actions have you taken so far?" "Your attack and your shift?" "Shifted forward, and then, um, a standard." "Uh, and your heal is a minor?" "Yes." "Uh, if you action point, you could shift over to Arlo." "I'm not sure I want to waste an action point on that." "You could use that minor to, uh, slap the... " "Love you so much, Izzy." "I'm sorry, I just, I might need the action point for something, like, later down the line when we're all dying more." "Good save, good save.

I like that." "As opposed to just one of us dying, you know, it's cool." "Well, I'm just teasing Izzy, it's cool." "Okay, yeah, I guess I'll end my turn." "All right, Mason, your turn!" "Uh, Una, please slap that, uh, you know, challenge on him, on number one." "Um, yeah." "We're gonna do something synchronous, that's excellent, thank you." "Oh, okay, I mean, I think he's already challenged." "Oh, and not anymore, all those challenges that you hit everybody with fell off." "Oh, oh shit, okay, yeah, divine challenge on him, then." "Also, uh, Jason, the other one, the defi- uh, minus one to attack and saving throws is now gone too." "Oh yeah, I was about to say, I was just looking at that, awesome, good." "Uh, number one has not yet saved for that debuff though that, um, Aira loves armor, throw on him." "Ooh, yes, ten, so he's safe." "That's one, so now he's down to negative one, so, you know, he's still got something else to save hands." "Thank you." "Yeah." "All right, so, the next thing I'm gonna do is I'm gonna switch over to my Out of Berserker's Charge and into, um, uh, Battle Wrath." "And then I'm actually going to make a move action to walk all the way around to here." "And I know that's gonna take an opportunity attack, but I'm hoping that with a minus two for him to strike from him being marked," "and a plus two from me being a Heavy Blademaster, my AC of now 28 hopefully won't be able to hit me." "And he will take damage." "Shhh, shit!" "Fuck yeah!" "All right, so, fuck with me now." "Uh, is that it?" "Yep, go ahead and, uh, please take an attack at me." "Uh, he will." "Uh, just a quick hammer swing." "That is a hit." "It would have been if you'd have AC of 28." "You're right, yeah, I just, yeah." "It's cool, yeah." "So that was, we all worked together and he takes 11 damage from being marked and swinging on me." "Love it. Jadzia, your turn." "Oh, actually I'm still attacking." "That was just the mechanic." "Oh shit, that's right!" "Yeah, you're right." "I was gonna say fuck you." "Now, uh, let's go ahead and do a melee basic attack and we'll roll." "Oh shit, don't move the guy, just roll." "I said roll." "Okay, where's the dice come up? There we go." "Ooh, that's gonna miss." "That's a wonderful bitch." "Oh, well at least I did 11 points of damage just walking around him." "All right, turns it over, thank you." "All right, and now it's Jadzia's turn." "All right, sorry, I..." "I know I have an ability somewhere where I can hit two guys with one, with my Eldritch Blast, but I can't find it." "I don't remember what that was called." "I'm taking a look right now, I think it's an encounter." "Oh, it might have been attached to my old staff actually, now that I think about it." "Whoops." "Yeah, my Rod of Blasting." "Ooh, it was." "Hey, can I switch rods as a minor action?

I still have the Rod of Blasting, correct?" "You would, yeah." "All right, so minor action, switch the rods." "Okay." "Heh, heh, heh, heh, heh, like penis. Um, sorry." "One, two, three, and concealed." "Always concealed." "Always gotta stay concealed." "You're a person this time." "Eldritch Blast, two and four. So, one, oh, I miss." "Yeah." "I'm gonna use Heroic Efforts, I'm pretty sure that'll hit with Heroic Efforts. So, plus four?" "Uh, what's that, a 19 you had?" "Yep, so 23 versus reflex." "That'll hit." "Awesome. All right, and then again on number four, who I don't care about hitting quite so much." "And I hit three, so." "That'll hit, yeah." "Which one of those guys had curses?" "Um, number two.

Ten." "Ten did." "And then, number two is gonna take an extra one. He's gonna get 11, oh, you see." "Yeah." "And three." "Uh, Warforged, let's see here. Oh, he's restrained. Okay, so two, he is still restrained. Never mind, go back to sleep." "Yep." "All right, Brianna's turn. Okay, we need to do something. We need to do something awful, I think." "We need to kind of level this playing field a bit." "Uh, she can either pop a daily and blast the living shit out of one thing, or she can blast the shit out of a lot of things." "Whoa, is it the same daily she used against the vampires?" "Uh, this would be Overload.

So this would be, like, if it's the one, this would be like a shotgun blast to someone's fucking chest. That's what that is." "Yeah." "Or the other would be like Decimate, something like that. It would be Decimate or Sign it Quick. Decimate would do much more damage, but actually she takes a quarter of it." "Yeah, um..." "That is the trade-off." "Yeah, was the first one the one where it just, like, blasted down the line?" "Uh, she does have just a straight-up force blast, yeah." "Yeah." "Like, that's more like a ranged attack, though. It's not really, uh, it doesn't necessarily rip through anything in its path." "Oh, okay.

Yeah, I was just gonna say, obviously, if you had something that went, like, through, you could go through one..." "She's got a cone attack, too. I mean, she's got a blast, too. She's got Shockwave, like, she could do that." "Mm, 'cause that..." "That knocks things prone." "Yeah, that would obviously go through one, five, and then tighten two." "Yeah. I'd have to position it right, 'cause it's just creatures. Like, everything, like, every one of her attacks attacks anything in the blast." "Yeah." "Yeah, she's got, she... there's no ally, like, recognition.

Um, so, where would you like to try and steer her here? Like, just one and three?" "Uh, well, I, uh, well, one... is it one, five, and tighten two? See, they're all in a straight line." "Yeah. But again, it's a cone, so that would... like, it would... that probably wouldn't end very well. You know what? Let's just try and down number two here. She's, uh, right there. So she'll be adjacent to number two. Uh, and let's try Overload, which targets... jeez, I should have checked that. Ooh, that targets AC. Well, we'll see here." "Fuuuck. Oh, Heroic Effort! Hell yeah!" "Oh, Heroic Effort, that'll hit.

Uh, 5d12 plus 10. Uh, 39 damage. That, uh, I think that... okay, that's gonna knock... okay, that's going to knock the Titan back one space and prone. And knock Bree back three spaces into Jadzia, 'cause I didn't notice she was standing there. Let's say that Jadzia just kind of gets out of the way, like, sees Bree... just kind of... I would imagine Jadzia would do that. And that's going to knock Bree prone as well. So, uh, Valus. Uh... okay. He's gonna shift down one and take a swing at, uh, Warport Soldier number one. Um... uh, Broadsword Attack. Oh, shit, that'll hit.

Uh, 24 damage will kill it. Yes! Valus got two kills in this fight already. It's unlike him recently. "Hey, remember that thing we talked about?" "I know!" "Power luck." "I believe in a pink up top. Hello!" "I missed the darkness. Um... that points off the darkness, really." "The darkness is you too, Jason." Uh, Warforged Titan number three is... uh... gonna use a Hammer Strike against Fae. Ooh, that'll hit. "Okay." 21 damage to Fae. "Ouch." Uh, Warforged Titan number two... "You resist five of that, right, man?" "Yeah, resist five, yeah." "Okay, cool, boom." Let's see here.

Titan number two is gonna use Rampage. Uh, and that is a charge attack... uh, that is going to... he's going to make attacks against anyone in his path, uh, to the end of the charge here. And that's eight spaces, so... one, two, three... that's going to catch Po and Liara and Jadzia and Brie at the end. Um, and he gets a plus two to his attacks. "Minus two, 'cause I'm concealed." So that'll... yeah, that'll even out against Jadzia, so let's... okay. "Does that also hit the enemies as well? Is that all creatures?" "Good point." Uh, this is anything in his charge, yeah, so this is... yeah, it does not...

"Kill the four soldiers." Yeah, it... he does not carry. He also... okay, he's gonna take five on going. "Yep, I almost forgot." Okay, let's just start... so he's just flicking... okay, he's just flicking this hammer back and forth, so let's go down the line here. That... oh, he gets a plus two, so that will hit number four. Uh, that will miss. He rolled a one and a two and hit... he hit the sec... Jesus. "I'm so full." Uh, so miss number four, miss number five, uh, Liara... Ooh, that is gonna hit Liara. Po... that is gonna hit Po. "Damn it!" Jadzia... that is definitely gonna hit Jadzia.

I was gonna be like, "Wait, wait, negative two?" That doesn't fucking matter. Nope, um, he's swinging at a plus four versus Brianna because she's prone... Oh, wait! Hold on a second. Uh, yeah, that'll definitely hit. Let me check something real quick for... Um, I gotta check something in a second for that one Warforged. He was prone, I think, or restrained. I gotta check, because if it's prone, he's... "Yeah, she was not prone, that's why Brianna is prone." Then he's taken damage. That's right, he was! That's right, so he's taken damage. Okay, so that's... Everyone's hit except for, uh, soldier number four.

Alright. I thought soldier number four was hit because you forgot to add the plus two. You're right! Everyone gets hit. Everyone gets a hammer. Not everyone gets a hammer and you get a hammer. Twenty-seven damage to him. Fuck. Uh, that is going to kill soldier number five. That's gonna kill soldier number four. Uh, Jesus. Twenty-seven to Liara. That is gonna down-po. He's down to negative six. Jadzi is down to, uh, forty-two. Brianna is down to forty-three, as is, uh, Liara's down to forty-eight. And... saving throw for the titan, and he's no longer taking that five ongoing damage.

Uh, he is bloodied, though. Uh, warforged titan number one. Oh, shit. He's gonna use whirling blade. Uh, this'll target, uh, this'll target Oona, Valus, and Mason. So... That is a hit to Oona. That is a miss to Valus, and that is a hit to Mason. He's gonna take one-d-eight damage. Okay, uh, that's eighteen damage, uh, for you guys. I'll take it off there, Mason. Thank you. Yep, yep. Uh, one-d-eight damage. Uh, go ahead and roll one-d-eight, please. A one. That's just like, I stepped on his tail, like, "Hey, fuck you." It's more disrespect. Um, he gets to roll a saving throw against that.

Ooh. Against the stub-toe. And he's, he's, he's saved against the stub-toe. Did he save against his remaining negative one penalty? Ooh, yeah, let's do that, too. Eight, no, he does not. Yes. Did two save against the fire? Sorry. Yes, it did. Okay, I thought so. Um, I was gonna have to make a death save here. Ooh, that is strike one for Poe. I didn't know Poe was dying. Oops. He just got hit with that rampage attack. Warforge number three. Um... Fuck. Um... Uh, scimitar attack, uh, versus fee. That is a hit. Uh, twelve damage. Okay. Minus five. Yep. Uh, shit. Ooh, that also knocked everyone prone, by the way.

The rampage attack. Uh, so... Fuckin' New York's gonna pick herself up. Um... Fuck, man. Uh... Crossbow attack against, uh... Crossbow attack against Titan number two. Uh, that is a hit. Damage... Twelve damage. Fee, your turn. Actually, Jason... Yes. If we could have your attention in the, uh, Skype chat for a moment. Brianna is asking about potions that may or may not be on the character that should be on the character. Okay. Yeah. Uh, let's see here. I remember having three, and I might have used them, but I don't remember using them. But they're not in my inventory anymore, but I think they might have disappeared when you remade Jodzia and leveled her up.

If they... Yeah, you have everything else, though, so I think you may have used them. Maybe. Okay. I'm not gonna complain about it. I just don't know. I probably just forgot. I forget a lot of stuff. Was... Was the potions added, uh, 'cause, uh, Bri and Liara gave us two each before we went to fight the dragon? Were they added to characters? I don't recall. I don't think they were. I don't remember you using any on the trip either. Yeah. So that would mean... I used one on Una. Oh, that's true. You did. So that would mean that Fi has one, Una has two, and Bri would have two then.

Alright. So... Thank you. Sorry. No, no, no problem. You take anything that is coming to you. Trust me. Okay, so, tactical trick to give me combat advantage against Warforged number three. Uh, and then melee basic attack. Alright. And hit. That is a hit. Gorgeous. So, 2d8, sneak, so that's ten. And damage... 24. 24 damage. Uh, you have rocked this Warforged like he is on his last legs. Uh, anything else, sir? That is everything. Okay, Airlove, your turn. Alright. First I am going to use, um, Lamentation of the Wicked. It is daily, so I immediately get three temporary hit points, so I am going to add those real quick.

Okay. You're prone, you may want to stand. And then I use my move action to stand up. And I use Lamentation of the Wicked against one and two. It's each enemy in burst. I'm sorry, one and three. Okay. That is a hit. That is a crit. Oh shit, it is a crit. Hook it off. That's the one I crit before, too. Merlin, you're not muted, by the way. Uh, that is a hit to number one as well. Both titans have been struck. Alright. I will roll some damage, and also, um, the targets grant combat advantage and cannot shift, save ends both. Um, and until the end of the encounter when myself or any ally within five squares of me attacks an enemy and has combat advantage against it, the attack deals extra damage equal to my Constitution modifier, which is a plus three.

Okay. Nice. And damage rolls. And I'm gonna roll for my extra one D8. And it's a six. Okay, uh, 26 damage to, uh, titan number three and, uh, 14 to number one. Anything else? Uh, yes, I am going to use my Symbol of Hope, and I have to conjure it in a square within ten squares of me, and then any ally within five squares of the symbol gets a plus two on saving throws, and any ally who starts their turn there, or within five squares of it, they get five temporary hit points. And I'm going to cast that somebody was pointing at them. I definitely wanted to make sure Poe was in there, because he's gonna have death saving throws, so.

Yes, that looks good. That's a good spot. Yeah, bring him back. Alright. Alright, uh, Una, your turn. Alrighty, um, fuck this shit. Let's pop it daily. Yes. Uh, we're gonna go moderate retribution. Uh, titan number one. Come on, bitches, let's go. Eh, tits, okay. Well, it's half damage. Okay. Plus three points because of the buff we got. Mmm, yeah, I don't think seventeen is gonna... wait, plus three damage? Uh, yeah, plus three damage, not hit. Okay, that's cool. Um, boop. Plus three damage can never hurt. Okay. Twenty-one damage. You have bloodied it. Hey, that feels kinda good.

Um, you know what? Action point? Should we get our cameras ready? I doubt it. Um, but, so, I don't provoke opportunity attacks with, um, with Windfury Assault, correct? 'Cause I'm flying? Yeah, no. We haven't rolled it so far. Oh, and you please add five to your temp hit points. Oh, that's right, 'cause I sped us a healing surge. A symbol of hope as well. Um, I'll just tap. Cool. Um, okay. I kind of wanna move and, like, get people some fucking healing. Um, so I think I'm gonna do that. Okay, Windfury Assault over to, um, Warforged Soldier, is that number two?

The one between Arlov and...? Three. Okay, three. Okay, Windfury Assault. Can I fly over Arlov? Yes. 'Cause you're flying. Yeah. I'm actually not gonna do that 'cause I wanna be able to take damage from him anyway. Um, okay, fly over to number three and attack it. What? Two 14s in a row? Are you fucking shitting me? Shit. Um, that's fucking stupid. Um, but whatever. Do I still have a miner left? Yes. Or is popping an action point a miner? No. No, no, no, no, no. You still have a miner. Okay, perfect. Um, Leon Hands for Arlov. Okay, that is one. Arlov, sorry. Uh, one of your, uh, Leon Hands is down.

Anything else? Done? That's it. Um, Divine Challenge on number... Well, I guess it's still on number one. Um, Mason, your turn. A'ight. So, what are we gonna do? We're gonna, um... Ah, it's too bad he doesn't have the Divine Challenge anymore, but obviously the miner was needed elsewhere. Ah, shit. Well, uh, I think I know what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna switch back to Berserker's Charge. I'm gonna run right up here so that I'm flanking with, uh, Valis. We're both at the corners there. And then I'm gonna do Melee Basic Attack. Um, Mason, that the Divine Challenge is still on the target, I think, because I did engage it.

You did, but you didn't actually spend the miner unless your power throws one on for free. You kinda needed that miner to slap ass. Oh, okay. Just kidding. That's cool. Looks like a hit. Alright, let's do some damage. Okay, we are looking at an additional three, four. Please add that to eighteen. Uh, so fifteen, eighteen. Okay. Alright. Oh, no, three. Okay, yeah. Alright, let's see. What else can we do to this guy? I think we're gonna go, uh, Sohae Claire. Oh, sorry, um, Sohae Flurry. We're gonna hit him again. Or we're gonna try to anyway. Just a moment. Hit when it, ah, why does it twitch out like that?

Lag. We're rolling, uh, thirty-one to hit. Okay. And that's it. And then we'll roll some damage. Change it up to plus three more from the buff. And we roll. So we hit eighteen. Okay. Eighteen damage. Anything else? [laughs] It's gotta die. Action point. Let's hit it again. Alright. That's a hit. Flailing on it. Alright, we roll damage. Let me add the damage modifier early. I've got nineteen. Nineteen damage. So Mason's just beating the shit out of this thing. Just swing after swing. Yep. Three strikes within six seconds. And it's wobbly. But it ain't fallen over yet. Uh, I guess that is over for me.

It wiggles and wobbles. It won't fall down. Jatzia, your turn. Alright. Um, I will stand up. Which is really exciting. It's a good plan though. Yeah. Um, then I will use Frigid Darkness against number two. Yeah! Good. Alright. And then, does that hit? Um, it's that. So sixteen plus four. So it's twenty damage. Also the target takes, um, the target is gonna grant combat advantage to anyone until my next turn. And, um, it's gonna take a three penalty to AC because that's my intelligent modifier. Wow. Alright. Good. So hit it. Breanna, go. Oh, actually, Jatzia, don't forget five plus five temp HP for the Symbol of Hope.

For the what? Symbol of Hope that Erolove cast. Oh, thank you. I didn't know that reached all the way to me. Is that temporary? Yep, temporary HP and anybody within five squares of that purple dot there. Oh, neat. Thank you. You got it. Let's see, five temp for Breanna. She is going to stand up. Let's use, you know what, let's just force punch it. Let's just keep it simple. Uh, that is a hit. Uh, twenty-eight damage. Because of the size of this thing it's not going to fly back like something small. Uh, but it is going to go back one space, uh, and it will be not to be thrown.

She gonna need to recharge next turn? Yep. Uh, Valus. Kill this motherfucker. Couldn't that be great? You know what, fuck it. Let's just twist the knife. Let's see if this works. This has never successfully been pulled off with a trifecta, but... Does it have kidneys? Well, let's just say he's stabbing at, I don't know, fucking, I don't know. He's stabbing at things. Wires and stuff. I'd say the joints, the knee joints or whatever take it down. Here we go, cross your fingers. Good job, Valus. Good job. Great miss. Excellent job. No, fuck that. Let's pop an action point.

That's pathetic. Let's try this again. Well, that's an encounter so I can't use that. Um, and I popped my daily already. Damn, damn, damn. Fuck. Okay. Uh, Brawl Sword. And that'll miss. Alright. Actually, did you get the flank bonus? Oh, I guess you did. It looks like right there. Yeah, it's still, their AC is ridiculous. It's pretty bad. Alright. Um, okay. Titan number three. Titan number three is going to use Whirling Blade. So that will be against Una. Well, actually, hold on. This will be against Mason, Una, Fi, Aralov, and that sad little Warford Soldier who's going to get caught in the blast here.

Okay, that's going to be a hit to Mason. That is going to be a miss to Una. That is going to be a hit to Fi. That is going to be a hit to the Soldier and that is going to be a hit to Aralov. Immediate interrupt. Take the damage for Aralov. Okay. Alright, so... Look, here is here. Sorry, Aralov. God damn it. I will get it right. I will. Alright, so that's 13. Go ahead and take 13 damage. I'll give it to everyone else. Oh, that was not as much as I was expecting. Well, it's the gesture. Oh, did Valus get plus five to his temp HP as well? Oh, yep. Let me get that. That'll also kill the Warford Soldier.

So the only thing left on the field are these Titans. I'll just take them up. Mason is in the perfect spot as long as somebody is flanking on the one of three and diagonally with one. He'll hold his ground right there. Jason, do I need to add the resist five back on for my hit points? Did you just take the 13 off? I just took the 13 off. That's cool. I'll add the five back. Oh, my bad. Sorry, don't worry. Totally forgot. Don't let me cheat you. Is that okay? That's awesome. Titan number two is going to stand up. And he is going to use a hammer swing at Brianna.

That is going to hit. Motherfucker. 19 damage. That'll bloody Brianna. She's down to 29 hit points. Warforshipping at Titan number one. Hammer attack versus Mason. That'll miss. Another death saving throw with a plus two, I believe. Yes, that's correct. Eleven. Yes. And he also gets his temp HP. I believe that pops his ass up. Does it? Even if he's down? Or if it's just starting in the square. Or starting near it. Real quick. Does temp HP bring you back from the dead? I actually don't know that one. Hey Jason, people in the chat are asking why Titan number one didn't get hit when number three did its crazy thing.

Oh shit! That's true. Good question guys. Great job listeners. We love you. You are beautiful creatures. So let me do that. That means one should have tried to hit three and three should have tried to hit one. Because they've been together this whole time. They're just sitting there beating the shit out of each other. Hey bro, don't fight me on the battlefield. Hey fuck you. I will adjust. Okay, there you go. I adjusted their hit points accordingly. So Po's not dead. But I'm going to say that he's still down. Because I don't know if temp HP brings me back or not.

I believe that they do not. Okay. It didn't sound like they would. Liara is going to move forward and use sword slash against the Titan that is a hit. Yes. That's Titan number two. And that's 19 damage. Fi, your turn. Okay doggy. I presume Fi gets flanking with Mason. He sure does if he stands anywhere next to him on the right hand side. That's perfect. Yeah, next to Una. Okay, yeah. I'm just going to move up one and then attack person three. And I'm going to use one of my back stabs as well. So I get a plus three. May I recommend something as well, man? Throw in your Hunter's Quarry.

Slap that on him. I only get one of those for the... Actually, yeah, yeah. I will do that because he's still got... Hold on. Okay, yeah, yeah. Back stab's a free action. So Hunter's Quarry on Titan number three. Yes. That's just a plus six damage, isn't it? It's not any bonuses apart from that. That's right. I get it. That's fine. Yeah, so... So, melee basic attack on Titan three with a plus five. And that fucking misses. That sucks. Son of a whore. Well, it was a natural one roll, so... Oh, holy shit. That's all I can do. Okay. Well, that sucks. Aral of your turn. Alright, I'm going to do Summons of Justice on both one and three.

Let's see if it hits. I crit number three again. That's the third time I've crit number three. You saw it here, folks. Alright, and I missed on the second one. Crit makes up for it. Yeah. So it's radiant damage, and I can pull the target three squares if I want to, but I don't think that that's a good idea. And I also knock the target prone. Okay. So three is going to get knocked prone. And I'm going to roll my extra D8. It is a seven. Twenty-seven damage. Alright. Wait, which one? Okay, yeah. Against number three. Yeah, hold on. You rolled on the wrong one. I have it highlighted on that one.

Sorry. I'm sorry. No, no, no. No big deal. I thought I had clicked him. Viannearlo, please increase five temp HP. Yes. Five, or...? Yeah, five, because you're close to your own little doodad over there. Oh, man. Symbol of hope. You're gorgeous. Anything else? You did bloody well. Awesome. One second. I am going to use an action point, and I'm going to use Fires of Judgment. It targets each enemy in burst, but it's only a burst one within ten, so it'll just be numbers one and three again. Okay. So then number one gets a crit. Beautiful. That's four crits you've thrown out so far.

And my crit extra damage is three this time. Make sure I'm targeting the right guy here. Twenty-eight damage. Let it fucking die. That will kill number one. Does that count as a notable kill thing you've evolved? There are three of them. You kill all three of them. All right. I'm on it. If you do kill all three of them, that's notable. Okay. That's nothing to scoff at. It's no Drauk or a dragon or something with a name necessarily. Its name is Bitch. Anything else? Let me double check real quick. Yeah, that's it. Thank you. Okay. Ooni, your turn. Okay. Let's go with hold fast.

So this is an immobilization power. If it's prone and immobilized, does that stack? It does. Well, yeah, he'll stand up and then he just won't be able to move. He can't make a move. No, we've ruled that because the shit. Oh, yes, that's true. Yeah, the very first fight we had, he got wrapped up on the ground like a rogue burrito. Yep, yep, yep. That's true. Well, this is probably not going to hit because it's AC, so whatever. But if it did, it would be cool. Miss. Actually, add two because you're flanking and he's prone. That'll hit. Sweet. Merlin. Thank you. Okay.

Welcome back. Smack a bitch with the quartz fury. 34 damage. 34 damage. You are rocking this thing. Damn. Okay. Anything else, firstly? I'm going to use the nine challenge on it. Yes. Okay. Mason, your turn. All right. So what Mason's going to do is that same trick he did before. He's just going to just take one step this way, not a shift, but an actual move and let him try to take an attack of opportunity on him. Here's hoping a 28 AC will resist what he's going to swing. Can it swing if it's immobilized and pro? It can. It's just going to take a minus two for that, like being on the ground.

And then, yeah, I still got us some out hit basically at 30 AC. Feel free. War porch Titans. Take a swat at Mason. If only the divine challenge damage kills it. That'd be hilarious. That would be I'm hoping that'll miss. Excellent. And he takes 11. Yep. All right. So let's make the pain happen. And a battle rats stance. I'm going to throw down my Hunter's quarry. Same thing that he has basically quarry him myself. So hopefully it'll do some damage when I land my blow. If I land my blow, cross your fingers and grit your teeth. Because the bloodhound gang makes holes in beef.

We make holes in beef. All right. Add to that role and we roll. That's it. Nice. All right. Let's roll some damage. Okay. Remembering that our invoker through three points of damage extra upon it. And I've also got my berserkers. Sorry. My battle wrath rocking serve two more points of damage. We got a 16 to hit. Oh, I'm sorry. I get a little bit more of one D six on because I is Hunter's quarried. So let's roll that as well. Looks like we got a six on top of that. All right. Tell me he's dead. Nope. Motherfucker. He hates his existence. He is not happy. My turn is done.

I don't care about his happiness. I just wanted to fucking die. That's your turn. All right. Sorry. I was a little distracted for a second. I am going to move this way and then this way. Not give phallus a little pat as I go by like, yay. Now I'm concealed. I will activate Hellfire touch and then I will use infernal moon curse against number two, because I am sick of looking at his stupid ugly face. Yeah, hit. So that is going to do this many damage plus this many damage plus five. 29. Right? Yep. Gorgeous. Very, very nice. All right. The target is held immobilized five feet off the ground until the end of my next turn.

And it doesn't matter how big the target is. Because I thought someone might ask and does not say. And one of my other attacks does specify size. So I'm pretty sure I can look them up. You have it from Jadzia. Size does matter. Okay, wait a second. That's save ends? End of my next turn. End of your next turn. Okay. Fly, my petenias. Okay, let's see here. Brianna. All right, let's do this. She's going to use force blast. She can't. She's got to charge. Shit, that's right. Sorry, DM. Damn it, damn it, damn it, damn it, damn it. That's true. Then action point. She could, yeah.

Well, she's not allowed to do anything on that turn except charge, actually. So no, she can't. Valus can do stuff. Valus hasn't used the catenhood. Let's see it. Oh, God. I want to see the mark of a bat, by the way, whenever that happens. Let's see. He's already got his five, ten points. Okay, let's try it. That will hit. Whipping the big-ass bear trap at this thing. That will kill the titan. Fuck yeah, the turret's head off. That's two for Valus, right? That's three kills in this fight for Valus. So, all right. That should maybe stop some of the emails about him being a bitch.

Warforged titan number three. Oh, man. Let's use whirling blade again because everyone's all so close and comfy next to him. Let's run right down the line. Attack against mason. That will hit. Attack against fee. That will hit. Attack against una. That will hit. And attack against arolov. That will all hit. Damn it. Fee will resist five of that. Una, also, don't forget you. So, don't forget you do have five temp HP as well. Do I? Yeah, you do. You start it next to the hope symbol. Oh, cool. Let me put that in. There we go. And fee resisted. I took the damage off for everyone.

Fee resisted. I'm alive with one endpoint. Whoa. Po is still down, but, you know, not dead. So, that's cool. Leora. Let's have her move here and use her crossbow. Ooh, damn, that'll just miss. Oh, look at her. Damn. She is a human. She used it already, I believe. Damn. Yeah, she used it. Fee, your turn. Okey dokey. So, that's how you finish this. You have another backstab, bro. Yep, I was gonna, that's where I was going. I figured you were gonna say. Yeah, so, yep, Melo basic on War Force Titan number 3. Plus 5 again. And hit. Awesome. Oh, god. Okay, so, 3d6. Two from backstab.

One from my quarry. And 2d8 from my sneak. So, that's 18 extra. Oh, yeah. Damage. 18. 31. Another 3 to that from the buff that we got from Aralov. And 3 to that as well, then. You have killed it. Yay! Fuck yeah. Taking out the majority of these larger Titans that would be cleaving through soldiers right and left. The majority of the Ravens and Elves have held off the warforged forces here. I think that's a pretty good time for us to stop this evening. And we're gonna take this and roll it right into the big G1G3 episode next week. So, congratulations on not dying.

Fuck yeah, none of us died. I was so close. Me too. Question, actually, Jason, about that. Will we be there too? For the G1G3, it's gonna be... I'm gonna have to split you up for one episode at least. Alright. Yeah. But you said we're gonna roll... Are our characters leaving immediately after this battle, then? Yeah, I'll explain it. I will be explaining it, but yeah. Sure, sure. I guess Tyler wants to do a post-show? Yeah, I took my shower already, so I should be good for at least an hour. Up until about 11 Eastern. Someone asked a question. I'm trying to scroll up to find it, 'cause I wanna answer that.

It is D'Addario? D'Addario? 3092. Jason, why, if Ian lives in Winterhaven and is married to the Queen... She's not a Queen, that's a Lord and Lady. ...does he not have a prosthetic hand? Excellent question. So... There may or may not be a catch to getting a prosthetic limb. 'Cause it... I don't wanna go into too much detail, 'cause I imagine when you guys get to Winterhaven, that's something you guys are gonna sort out. But yeah, there would be a very good reason why Ian would not opt in for that, and why he would just keep the stump. Just throwing it out there, there is a reason. 'Cause he's a bitch.

Dude, you don't even know. You don't even know. Do you realize that, like tomorrow... not tomorrow, wow, that would be terrible. Next weekend. You guys are gonna need to find out all the stuff that happened with Ian and Bree, and all that, like, there's so, so much. Two questions. How excited are you guys for next week? Start with that one. So excited. It's gonna be awesome. Very. Yes, very, very excited. Second question, what happened to Tyson? He's gonna be taking a break for a while. You guys can read questions too, if you want. I don't want it to just be me talking.

Someone said, "Hey Izzy." They said, "Hey Izzy," and they sent a heart and a robot face, and they said, "You kick ass," or dick, or some other thing. Just wanted to say that. So, thank you. That is adorable. And heart robot to you too, sir. That's not a question, that's just praise. I'll take it. We're asking for questions. Or praise me. That's why Izzy formed a group, so she... oh wait, that doesn't work. Will we discover what happened as a result of Justin's letter? Yes, yes you will. That'll also be in the next session. We may have had a lot of stuff up for a while.

Go ahead, sorry. Do you have pixies in Theria? Do we have pixies in Theria? Pixies in Theria... not really. Not so much. I'm not saying it's out of the question. I'm saying that they would be rare if so. Do the warlocks have specific entities they communicate with? Is there a certain devil that Malchus is funneling all those eaten souls to? There absolutely is. It is the... What's happening? What did G1 do that was so bad? Really? Really? Tyler? What? What did G1 do that was so bad? Do you want to run down the list? Or me? Or like, do we want to tag team this? Like, you fill in any blanks I forget?

Vice-person? Let's clarify first. Has Girthy Twit been listening to all the episodes? Or just group 3 or group 2 or any combination thereof? Yeah, let me... Yeah, yeah. Girthy, let us know, like... 'Cause I'll run down the list. Sir Colin wants to know if Fi can use his shape-shifting powers to get a hand back if he shifts into a race that has more than two arms. No, because that's more Clayface and I'm thinking more and more from X-Men. It's the same amount of mass. So it's still like a muscle twitch thing. That's something me and Fi were talking about last week.

It's... It's... Go ahead, sorry. Go ahead. It's still a missing hand no matter who he shape-shifts into, which severely hinders his shape-shift ability, actually. Question for Izzy. How does it feel to be able to kick that much ass? Sock a bag of dick, Scott. And occasionally squishy. He... He said that just to be an ass. He said that because Scott, though a party pooper, is amazing. What do you see your character doing after the war if they survive? If... There's... You can't even think, like... It's like kids going to Vietnam and being like, "I don't want to marry my girlfriend because, like, I don't fucking know if I'm ever going to see her again." It's like that.

You don't make plans. Speaking of plans, Zaxeter wants to know if we are steadily gaining popularity... Or now that we're staining good... ...steadily gaining popularity, do we have any long-term plans for D&R? World domination. That is... I think that's the end goal, right? Definitely. D&R for everyone. Comic-Con. Dude, that would be so great. I might be going to Gen-Con. Might be going to Gen-Con. In August. Especially if we were up for an award and everything. I might... Yeah, I mean, fuck. Austin wants to know our Zodiac signs, too. Oh, wait. One at a time. I totally heard both those at once.

What happened? Sorry. No, no, no, no, no. Go, boo. Oh, I was just saying. I'm going to be at Port-Con. If anyone's there, it's in Maine. I will be in cosplay all three days, so I'll be kind of hidden, but I look like my picture. This is fucking adorable. Just look for the adorable one. You can... It's true. Good lord, there's a lot of questions in the chat. If they scroll too fast and we miss them, we may have to ask you guys to repeat them. Yeah. The last one I saw was Austin's Zodiac signs. Hit me with that one. What are your Zodiac signs? Oh. Shit, I don't know.

Scorpio. I am a Leo, and Jamie is a Scorpio as well. I'm an Aquarius. Merlin is a Cancer. Pisces. Totally not my Zodiac sign whatsoever. I am Leo. I was going to say, if you go by the Chinese... I'm a Fire Rabbit. Fire Rabbit? A Fire Rabbit? That's a thing? Yes. Merlin is a metal monkey. What? We get fire and shit? Where? That's way better. The Chinese Zodiac's way cooler. Yeah, yeah. There are five elements. I'm a water sheep. Cool, man. There's a picture of a sheep majestically leaping through the waves. Well, it's maybe one of those fins like those at Hippocampus. Let's see here.

Mr. Horbier question. So, Group 2 left Valis' mom to die with Carter coming to... Well, okay, now hold on a second. Personally, that's not a question. That's assuming a bunch. But they definitely did leave her. That was their choice and we'll see if there are any ramifications for that choice. Are you going to be cosplaying your character? Jadzia? She answered that one in the chat. I did. I'm not going to go as Jadzia. First of all, I either not look like her or have to do some offensive makeup. Frankly. Second of all, I die of heat death because she covers her entire body and it's summertime.

So, it's not going to happen. It's also why I'm not going to wear the hoodie because I've died. Yeah. Shirts are coming. Soggyplod. So, Jason, I know this is early, but do you already have story plans for After the War? Of course I have story plans for After the War because I have no life and all I do is write. And there's a million different ways all this can end and we'll roll into the next thing. Like, after the war is over. Whoever wins. Because we've talked about this. If you guys lose, it's Firefly. You guys are the browncoats. Pirates, pirates, pirates, pirates.

I mean, you could be pirates. I mean, there's a thousand different things that happen. If you win, then that causes a whole bunch of new complications. Thunderous Cacophony. Will Thoril pay for the mages of the flying city of Un'Yur to do a paternity test? Follow up. Will he pay the backlog of child support? Not my responsibility and absolutely not. Wow. Classic. Wow. Such an upstanding guy. Which is the verbal equivalent of walking out of the door backwards with both little fingers up. You know, I would get it if Nathaniel were a complete dud. I would not claim that kid, to be honest.

Really? I would claim that kid if I birthed that child. He's a spazzy kid, but he just needs tutelage. If it were to be his kid, right? Like, he can hit really hard. He's proofed that. He's like a lab. Hey, hey guys! How's it going? Okay, okay. I'm asking the wrong person. His infinite cheeriness is probably not... It wouldn't mesh well with you, but I'm saying, I mean... For that being your potential offspring, you could do a lot worse. Just throwing it out there. Yeah. Jason, do you ever think Tyler will ever let himself be dragged into a part of roleplay? Wow.

That is catty. Tyler roleplays? See how my voice went up? See how my voice went way up to defend you? No, Tyler roleplays. I think Tyler's underestimated in a lot of respects. Because, while Tyler is... See, now I'm gonna have to fucking overdo it. I'm gonna have to fucking go full-born next week. Don't be robbed. That's gonna have to be the Thoril show. Dude, that's... There's a number you have to take and step in line. There's a lot of people here. Who said that? FoxFury. It is on you. Everything that I do next week is on you. Tyler size around. And next week will be live streamed, correct?

No. It will not. Nope. Sorry guys. That's a no. Sorry. You're gonna have to wait on that. I said the 19th. You will get it on the 19th. I will stay up all night editing. I will cobble that together and it'll be great, but it will not be live. Sorry. That would be such a clusterfuck live. It absolutely would be a clusterfuck live. There is a question of how are you gonna keep everyone in control next week, speaking of clusterfuck? I have a... For me being a control freak, I have a looser structure when it comes to DMing. I like to let people talk. I like to ask people constantly.

Group one being group one and then adding three people to that, I'm gonna have to have the reins just a little bit tighter. I wanna make sure that everyone gets a chance to speak so it can't be a thing where people are constantly talking over each other or underneath each other. I know Tom loves to get his jabs in and loves to get his stuff. That can't happen when there's ten people on a Skype call and there's five hundred plot points to get to. I don't think you're gonna be able to control that. You wanna bet? Jason has made a talking stick. You're not allowed to talk unless you have the talking stick.

Now it takes three weeks in the mail. So this is gonna be a really long episode. I don't know why I made the stick so damn big. I don't... The shipping cost is what's really gonna kill us. Zaxitore, I guess? Jason, best of luck on your move to Oregon. Any updates? That's a nice question. Oh, thank you. Me and Justin are still saving. We got a trip in June coming up and that'll be fantastic. Get to actually hang out with the crew and that'll be great. We are desperately trying to get enough money together. Trying for like August. Trying. We're gonna see how it works, but yeah.

We're constantly trying to put money together. Me and Justin also kind of footed the bill to get t-shirts up in the store. So the initial run is going to be kind of limited. And we're gonna kind of gauge interest in it based on that. So if it's one of those things where we sell out, we'll make more and we'll just take that money and just keep rolling it over. Because the initial... Sorry. That's okay. The initial shirt's just gonna be like a straight up DNR shirt. And then there's a white raven shirt that we have. And then there's a couple of other ones we're kind of working on.

So yeah. We'll see how that all works. But yeah. We're saving and Oregon's fantastic. Got to tour a decent little chunk of it and I want to go to there. So yeah. Because it's all rainbows and fairy tales. It's cloudy and rainy and I like it. We can't have rainbows without rain. That's okay. But the rainbows are fine and whatever. But the cloudy rainforest nature thing. I like it. Totally dig that. Can we have any hints on the specific thing Malkus did that we will have to answer for? Because for the life of me, I'm dumbfounded. Crimsonite, you have not been paying attention.

Now, um... Malkus is absolutely responsible, whether he will admit it or not, for signing the treaty that kickstarted all this. Now, he can claim ignorance. He can totally say, "Oh, I didn't have any idea that that would do..." Well, that's called making a choice and living with it. Malkus doesn't do that. Now, there are other things that Malkus has touched. And he's gonna have to answer for that. Whether he does or not is up to him. But by the end of that episode, something will be happening with Malkus. I absolutely guarantee it. There's an awful joke there.

Well, if there's an awful joke there, you're the one to make it. Thanks. Well, is that untrue? Yes, it is. I don't believe I asked for anybody's opinion. Wow! You don't ask for opinions, you just get them. It's not how opinions work. Yeah, I know. Yeah, unwarranted opinions. They're like assholes, everybody has one. Doom, chish. FoxFury, "Why did Baranath turn down Phallus's love?" You will have to ask Baranath. I'll get her Twitter for you, hold on. It's just DNRBaranath. Is it DNRBaranath? There you go. @dandrbaranath. D-A-N-D-R Baranath. I'll type it in the chat for you.

Is it best that when I write D-A-N-D-R, I read it as dander? Now I won't be able to unsee that. I'm so sorry. I've always seen it that way too, honestly. Really? Yeah. Can't use an ampersand in a lot of these, so. "Didn't Tyler post on Twitter about pedophilia?" Yes, he did. [Laughter] Effa-pephelia. It's so much worse that you know the term. Uh, gone to the great Jason. I'm sorry that I do research on shit. Fuck me. Or not, that's the case, maybe. [Laughter] Just full of opinions today. No, that was just a joke. That wasn't an opinion. Um, let's see, gone to the great.

This is Scott. "Jason, did you have something planned for what happened to Talos' body from group two? Now that they've abandoned the city, we'll never know." That's not true. Again, I've told them just because they're done with Brightport does not mean Brightport is done with them. Stuff keeps turning, whether they're there or not, so you may find out at some point. Pyro tornado keeps on asking, "Will the Grimnest Mother be taken hostage and make the kids get together to save her?" Can't, can't. Can't tell you that. We can't speculate on that. [Laughter] Scout's a dick.

I like Scott. Darrow3092 wants to know if Tyler knows the age of consent in every state. [Sigh] No, I don't. Sorry, some of us do research, Tyler. Actually, the age of consent in Kinetic Nod. He doesn't know the age of consent in every state because technically there are a couple states whose age of consent laws are not totally solid. Oh, okay. Or he doesn't plan on visiting that state. Yeah, there you go. Mr. Horbury wants to know, "Do you think people will leave if they die?" Players, I'm guessing he means? Yes. Players. I don't know, it depends. Someone has an answer in the chat.

Seventeen. Maybe they live there. [Laughter] It actually changes per state, come on. Oh, for Connecticut. Oh, God, people are posting age of consent. Oh, wow. Stop that. [Laughter] What happened to Shane? Just couldn't make things work. Shane rolled a couple characters. He didn't want to roll another one after Thalomund died to a tragic, violent death in the arena. And he just kind of walked away. He's been busy with work and stuff, too. The unluckiest of unlucky rolls. Jesus, dude. I guess, you know what, actually, speaking of... I've been meaning to do this, too.

I feel like a dick. Speaking of the Oregon stuff, people have donated and everything. I wanted to give everybody a book update. I'm still working. So, it has been expanded to five parts. So it'll be five short stories about characters. Valis, Brianna, Liara, Ian, and then Katie and Sil are going to get their own little chapter. So you kind of get to find out a bit more about these characters. Not quite origin stories, necessarily, but just a little snippet of their life and stuff that happened to them before the show would have taken place, timeline-wise.

Talon Nypre's "Can Shane come back later if he wants to?" Well, I mean, we kind of got a full cast right now. Pyro Tornado. "What kind of power will Duncan be bringing to the party?" It's the same Duncan you remember, just many levels higher. I was going to say the power of rock, but then as a musician, it would be the power of love. Dun dun dun. Sorry. And unfortunately, FoxFury, we cannot invite people to the chat at this time vocally. We just have to answer questions from the chat. Yeah. Alright, couple more questions and we're going to wrap it up here.

And nobody has any more questions. As Jason types furiously into it. It takes them a little while to get caught up on what they hear. No, that's fine. It is kind of funny though, I can tell when certain people type. Because yours has that dun dun dun dun dun dun thing and then like... Breanna's has that old school keyboard. Sorry. What are the levels for groups one and two right now? Let's see here. Group one is hovering at level ten and group two, I believe, is still at nine. And what is the vision of Thoril being backstabbed all about? Are you going to touch on that again?

At a certain point. The thing about prophecies is, the more decisions you make, the more you could affect that prophecy. So maybe it isn't Thoril who gets backstabbed. Maybe it's someone else because of a decision Thoril made or someone else or something. I mean, group one has pissed off so many people that it would make sense that there are probably people lining up to stab those people in the back. So it's kind of tough to narrow that. Probably going to be Malka is more than likely. There is a cool question. How many endings are there to this story? Oh, there's an infinite number of endings.

Unlike a video game where there are a predetermined number of endings depending on choices, there are a thousand different little ways that this can end. You guys could win the war but lose certain members of the group, which means that's going to spiderweb and affect different people's lives. Let's say Erolove dies. Well, that's going to affect Valus and Malkus and also Tessia down the line and the party members that she left behind. It depends on how she dies and who kills her or if it's just a freak random occurrence. It's really crazy when you think about it.

If you change any one aspect previously in the show, go back and change one tiny event in history. What if Tyler didn't live through the Drauk fight? What if he didn't come back as he was talking about earlier in the pre-show? What if he didn't come back as a human? What if he just died? How would that have affected the party? Would that have put a strain on them earlier? Maybe they wouldn't have made it through that fight. Maybe they wouldn't have beat Drauk anyway. Maybe Malkus would have died because Thorl ended up... Did you get the killing blow on him?

Yes. Yeah, so there's a dozen different ways that could have ended depending on that one tiny little event. Of course, that's the DM's answer. Our answer is, of course, we defeat Overwatch. Nobody dies and then we skip around Overwatch hand in hand while flowers just bloom around us. We just sing like the Smurfs. Dude, Raph still thinks this is a game. He thinks this is a video game. You think this is a game, son? When we win... Don't worry. We'll win. No, it's not. When I win and save the princess. Colin is asking if Aralef dies again. Again, yeah. Also, are you going to hold Rob true to his promise of he's going to make a female character when Malkus dies?

I wouldn't force him into anything. That's if Malkus dies again. I want Malkus to live. I want him to at least live through this next episode. Then, I don't know what's going to happen. He's got a lot to answer for and I want to see it happen. He is my white whale. I want to nail him to the wall, man. I want him to fucking be able to say at the end of the day, "I'm responsible for that." Like that one thing. We'll see. We'll see if I can accomplish it. Taking on the impossible, eh? We'll see. We'll see. Did you see Thulezak's question? I did not. Did you have people that had reasons for being in the Overwatch when you made Group 3?

Or just let everyone do almost whatever? It seems like most people don't want to change the Overwatch, except from within. Backstory-wise, right? He or she is asking, did I come up with a reason for you to be in the Overwatch or did you come up with a reason? If I recall correctly in the original creation process of Group 3, it was, "You're in the Overwatch. You can tell me why." Yeah. You didn't say they had to be in favor of the Overwatch, necessarily. No. No. I was already kind of narrowing your field by making you play as Overwatch soldiers, so I wanted to at least give you...

I wanted to at least give you the freedom to flesh out your own backstory, which I think has been fantastic. Foxfury. If the Overwatch problem is resolved, are the groups going to be mixed up? Who would leave? And would everyone keep their characters or make new ones? That is way down the line. I really don't know who's gonna... I know we have hyped this up. Characters are gonna be dropping left and right. They could drop left and right. I'll say that. We're prepared. We know what to expect. You wanna wrap this up? Maybe take one more question? Sure. What season are we on now?

There are no seasons. It's just one continuous thing. I like the thought of having seasons. Good night, everybody. I like the thought, but it's impossible to do with three separate... unless we did a timed thing, it's really impossible to do. Because what is your season... think about it. What would be your season finale coming up would have nothing to do with Group 2. They're kind of just getting started again. I think it's winter and spring. I think if there was a season ending for certain groups, I think Group 1 would be Episode 17. But that's kind of right in the middle of a Group 2 campaign.

They're overlapping seasons. You got Season 3 of this one and then Season 2 of this one. Is Doctor Who-esque? Does Group 1 get paragon past the moment they hit Level 11 or when they defeat Overwatch? If. Again. I feel like we need to stress "if". I think there's a lot of ifs, yeah. I think that's kind of the big thing. I think that's the thing we gotta do. It's a lot of ifs right now, so I don't think anything is kind of being prepared specifically for people, considering we don't know who's going to be around by the end of the war. This... I don't know who's going to be around by the end of this next episode.

Because it depends on how far we get in. The defense of Winterhaven is going to be the next episode. Again, it depends. It depends on how far we... like, the roleplay is going to take up a bit. So I really don't... I don't know. Will Duncan and Rotswell have words? Again, that depends on if Duncan could live long enough to get to Rotswell. Rotswell wouldn't know that he's back. That would be interesting, hearing Dan roleplay against Dan. Yes, for some reason, Dan arguing with himself would just be the funniest thing. That would be funny. Dan would do it, too.

Oh, yes. Foxfairy wants to know how many PCs you're expecting to kill. I assume he means in the next episode. Okay, listen. That is not the kind of DM I am. If I wanted to kill you, I could easily kill you. He's expecting to kill at least a third of us. I don't... this is based on... Probably all of group one, just to ensure that he can actually do sessions everywhere. Except for Malkus. Just to keep him to suffer. As a follow-up, if people are making new characters, will they start at level one or some other level? From T-Bigs. Tyler starts at level one, everyone else starts at level one.

No, listen. I'm not the kind of DM that's out to kill you guys. This is your decisions. Now, my job is to offer you a challenge and a story and that's it. Then it's all down to dice rolls. And when I have promised thousands upon thousands of soldiers descending upon the Winterhaven, that's what you're going to get. You're going to get siege weapons, you're going to get the works. You will be fighting a war. I have been prepping you for this for a year. You should know what to expect. This is going to be the full military brunt of the Overwatch. This is coming.

I can't make it any clearer now. This is going to be a full-on battlefield. This is a war. Things are going to happen. Does Thorold miss Rod's Well's touch? I think that last question was something we could have ended on. Well, no. This is your show. We have to bring it back to you. Thorold does not miss Rod's Well's touch. Yes, it made him question everything about his life. That's why he overcompensates with all the female bashing. There you go. What a beautiful note. Well, thanks everybody for coming out. It's been a great show. And thank you for hosting. Thank you, sir.

Thank you. Thank you. No problem. Thanks for everybody for coming out. Everybody who felt like asking questions. We'll see you guys next time we can get around to doing this. Yay! We love you guys. Thank you very much, guys. Bye!
