[clink] [clink] Pickaxe. Coming to Apple TV+ on August 9th. You're the Marine? Yeah, you're the ex-con. Yeah, I did time, but you only got to cast aspersions at me. From the director of Mr. and Mrs. Smith and The Bourne Identity comes a new film. This your first job? I know what I'm doing. I'm a little late for a crit change. Starring Matt Damon. Everybody in New England is after us. And Casey Affleck. Go, go, go, go, go! What are you doing? Taking notes. Taking notes on a criminal conspiracy. The Instigators, rated R. Streaming August 9th on Apple TV+. This summer, during the biggest sporting event of the year, Peacock turns to two broadcasting legends for the Olympics coverage you can't find anywhere else.

Um, I think they mean us. Oh, s***. Um... [clears throat] With an incredible duo sure to take home the comedy gold. Olympic Highlights with Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson. New episodes Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Only on Peacock. Hi everyone. You are listening to Group 3 for the DNR podcast. Just a quick reminder. Go and find us on iTunes and give us a lovely review and a five-star rating. Find us on Facebook and Twitter if you want to interact with the cast and everybody. We have a YouTube channel which content is posted semi-regularly. And we have also found an artist for doing the character art.

That is Tongman. I think his artwork is absolutely fantastic and I can't wait to see all of the cast done in his style. If you want to find him he's got a deviantart. Tongman.deviantart.com That's T-O-N-G-M-A-N dot deviantart dot com. And enjoy the show. Let's do that thing regarding the table and introduce ourselves. I'm Jason, I'm the Dungeon Master. Going around the table, start with Izzy. Hey, I'm Izzy and I play Uno the Half-Elf Paladin. And Mack. Hi, I'm Mack and I play Kaluna Volgares the Wilding Shaman. And Jasper. Hey, I'm Jasper. I play Marek Ethelred the Very Interesting Human Cleric.

With no quirks whatsoever. And Brie. I'm not sure if you said Brie or She. I said Brie. Hi there, I'm Brianna Richardson and I play Judsy at Grace the Human Warlock. And last and certainly not least, Kat. Hi, my name is Kat Charlie and I play She the Changeling Thief. Okay, last time on the show you guys started in on cleaning up the streets of Estherhold. And I would say you put perhaps a sizable dent in the organization known as the Grey Cloaks. You captured what appeared to be their leader, Marash, a very large, aggressive dragonborn. Who ended up stabbing Jonathan, who was a member of the town guard.

Who apparently was crooked and on the take. Though you never got to question him about it before he got a scimitar in his chest. You guys kind of just watched that happen. Kind of just left his body there too. You did. We had bigger concerns. We kind of did. Towards the end of that fight, yeah, you guys had a lot on your plate. You also found out that Marek is a werewolf. And when he gets too stressed or in danger or otherwise loses control. He turns into an eight-foot werebeast that could very well rend your entire party. As well as anything that you're fighting into tiny bits of bacon strips.

So that is something to keep an eye on. That's something. There is also one other thing and that's Jadzia's new demon companion. Who, if you remember, is under her control as long as she keeps a constant vigil over said demon. So, again, another member of your party who would probably turn on you in an instant if given the opportunity. Not the same as Marek because Marek doesn't want to do harm. Werewolf Marek don't care so much. But yeah, that'll be interesting. So, how's about we do this? You guys have put a pretty good dent in the day, I would say. You've captured Marash.

He's chained up in your basement. He ain't going anywhere. And while I imagine you'd want to keep at least one, maybe two people in guard, maybe take some shifts and get some sleep for the night? Sounds about right. Sounds like something you guys would want to do. Get some rest. You guys had a nasty fight. So let me ask a question. Who's standing guard over Marash? I'll volunteer to stand guard. Okay. So if you're doing that, Brie would probably stay with you. Hey, bitch. You guys may have things to talk about. Oh, God. Did you think that was going away? I may have assumed that that had been taken care of.

Yeah, I forget things all the time. We'll see. We'll see what happens there. Everyone else is just kind of unwinding for the night, going to get some sleep, and we'll see what happens. Jatia, quick question about your demon. Firstly, have you figured out what you're going to call it, or are you just going to call it, "Hey, you, demon," something? I have decided on a name. Jasper helped me pick a name. His name is Sheldon because he has a turtle shell. Okay. I can't wait to see character art of both Jatia and Sheldon. This is going to be so good. This is going to be so cool.

Okay. Okay, so Sheldon will accompany you to your room along with Valus. Sheldon is the definition of a third wheel. It's going to be a really awkward threesome. So here's how this works. As long as you're conscious, you have direct control over Sheldon. Now, you can choose to temporarily banish him while you sleep, but the second you wake up, he's back with you. Now, that doesn't count for if you are knocked out. This has to be a voluntary thing where you're going to sleep. All right. First of all, that was a fucking ominous thunderclap in the background.

Yes. If I go away, that's why. Okay, quick question. If I'm at one hit point, can I banish him then? As long as you're conscious and you make the decision, yeah. That's cool. All right, so knowing that. But you will lose the bonuses to your attacks and everything that isn't present when your demon's not around. Right. You think I only have one power right now that's increased by the demon anyway. Later on, that'll be an issue. All right, so I suppose I'll test that now and try to banish Sheldon away. Okay. So that's just kind of something where it's a mental connection.

Like you can... That's something that's a good thing to practice. So you're just going to kind of wave your hand away and he is just going to, in a tiny little plume of fire, just boom. Just gone. Cool. Valus is not masking his disdain for that little thing. Hates it. Just hates it. Now, another question. Are you guys still sleeping in the same room? I'd imagine so unless he went somewhere else. No, he would be following you. So that would be unless you tell him to go away, basically he's going to kind of stay with you. The bedroom situation, is this a thing where he's sleeping in a chair across the room?

How does that work? I kind of imagine it as they are sleeping in the same bed, but Jadzia told him pretty straight out, "We're not doing anything. We're just going to sleep." Right. Okay. That's fine. He probably would make the first move on that anyway. Yeah. So, Kaluna and Merrick, what about you guys? What exactly is your sleeping arrangements? We've never really delved into that. True. What do you think Kaluna? I mean, I think we started off sort of being buds and sort of sticking together. What do you think at this point? Well, all I can think about is the jokes that we made the first time.

I don't know. Kaluna would definitely not sleep in the bed. It would be weird for her to sleep in the bed. She'd be like, "What in the world is this thing?" So, she would probably sleep propped against a dresser or something. Goes into plant mode and just looks for the right corner. Yeah. And honestly, Merrick at this point still is not sleeping in a bed himself. So, what I kind of like is thinking that they're sticking together, right? Because they've been traveling for a month or two or whatever it is together. They're sticking in the same room, kind of like camping out.

Neither are used to being inside and kind of don't like it for different reasons. And neither one of them is using a bed. They're just like, "Propped in a corner, sleep on a floor." And there you go. Maybe they sleep in a puppy pile. You know how like, when a boob... You know more than puppies, they just lay on each other. Yeah, I think at least for now, I think it makes sense for them to sort of stick together. But it's not a bedroomy thing. It's more like a, you know, we're used to sort of camping together and we're sort of sticking with each other. That Merrick's had a tough day.

Yeah. So, the puppy pile might be comforting. That's probably true. And fitting. And fitting. Kat, what would Phoebe doing? I'll give you one guess. Okay. Let's roll with the engineering check. Fuck you, Kat. I don't think you should get an extended rest then. You have to stay this way. Twenty-five. Phoebe, today is your lucky day. A pile of courses, ladies and gentlemen. So, this has been plaguing Phoebe. This has kept him up nights. This has bugged him. And he knows this place is just riddled with little nooks and grannies and he wants to find all of them. And walking down the hallway, his boots kind of hit an echoey, sounds like an echoey hollow spot.

And there's like this little runner carpet that he just immediately starts tearing out. He's like, "Get that the fuck out of the way." He doesn't just kind of like, there's hidden shit and I need to find it. So, these floorboards are going to start coming up. This is a pretty wide hallway and they just gently slide out of place. They're big solid floorboards but they're clearly there just to mask something underneath. Now, directly underneath of it, you're going to see a trap door that apparently leads straight down. There's a little ladder and it just goes straight down.

Okay, so Phoebe climbs down the ladder. How much light is there down there? It's pitch black. Dark. Okay. Is there anything, is there any form of torches nearby? At the top of the ladder there, there's a torch hanging there but it's under the light. Okay, I will grab it and I will use my sonic spark to light it. Okay. You know it's been bothering the shit out of people that you haven't used any of that power since you... I know, I know. Like people keep saying, "What the fuck? He just forgets that he could have used that once or twice." But yeah, it happens.

Yeah, yeah. So, and I take out my sword and head down cautiously. Okay. So descending this ladder, it appears as though this thing goes down many, many feet. And on your way down, one of the rungs of the ladder are going to get ready and kind of come loose. And I want you to go ahead and make an acrobatics check for me. Okay, 35. Fi deftly catches himself by just kind of like spacing his entire body out and catching himself in the tunnel that leads down. So he starts to fall and just kind of like scrapes his way, almost like a cat, scrapes his way down the tunnel a bit.

And then as soon as his momentum slows, he reaches back and grabs the ladder and starts descending downward. After you'd say about 60 feet or so down, you are going to... this is going to kind of end, and you're going to find yourself in what appears to be some sort of storage area. Again, the rest of this place is pitch black. There are no windows. There are no nothing. This appears to be underneath the mansion itself. So would you like to get the rest of the team or would you like to kind of explore this area yourself? Fi would explore himself. Okay. Fucker.

I hope you die down there. I love you. Just kidding. Looking around, you can see that there are various chests and shelves with what appear to be some very rare books. Some of these appear to be really fucking old. What would you like to explore first? Do you want to just kind of open up the chest and see what's in there one by one? Or do you want to check out the books? There's a table across the room with various bits of... look to be blood magic paraphernalia. There's a dagger, there's some bowls and stuff. It looks like if there needed to be some sort of blood magic ceremony, you could do it down here.

Okay. So is the chests on the opposite side of the room with the books and stuff? Yeah, they're kind of lining the walls. Okay. Yeah. So Fi would casually look at the books and the equipment on the way to going over to the chests. Okay. That's your main thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's like, "Oh, okay. I'm sure Jad's here would like bowls and daggers and books and stuff." But he wants the chests. Yeah. Gotcha. He wants to look at shiny things. Gotcha. Totally. Okay. The books. Just you're taking a cursory glance. Go ahead and roll an Arcana check for me. Oh, that should be fun.

Yeah, that should not be. Oh, 18. 18. Just taking a cursory glance at some of these. Like you're picking up some of the older looking books and kind of like thumbing through and it's like, "Yeah, yeah, yeah. Books, books, books." Anyway, and you're just kind of like looking through. There's one that appears to be like a list of like advanced blood magic rituals. You're looking through that. Like the really nasty dangerous stuff. There's one about summoning greater demons. There's one about something called the gates. You know a little bit about that from your time in the Evergreen.

So yeah, there appears to be like a wealth of knowledge in here, but that's not that... Fee's not interested in any of that. What you want is those chests. So there is a key hanging above the three chests on the wall. Now it appears to just be hanging there by a thin leather cord. So if you... Totally depends on what you'd like to do here. Can I have a look at the chests to see if they're boobishaps or anything? Roll an engineering check. Oh, correct one. They look A-OK to you. OK, in which case... How high up is the key? You can reach over the chests and just kind of grab it.

OK, yeah. Fee's not going to stretch himself. He's going to pick it out with the tip of a cord scale. OK. So you're going to lift it up off its hook and the leather cord is going to slide down a cord scale and then just kind of like bump the hilt at the bottom. So the key is just kind of dangling near your hand. Yeah. OK. OK. There are three chests in front of you. Which one would you like to open first? Let's go with the one on the left. OK. Fee inserts the key into the left hand chest and then turns the lock, turns the key, opens the lock and it kind of pops open.

Inside the chest there appear to be a random assortment of articles of clothing and goods. It doesn't appear as though that these are particularly valuable. What they appear to be is... It looks like a trunk full of dresses. It looks like a lot of female clothing. Everything from like fancy ballroom dresses all the way down to undergarments and things. So this doesn't appear to be... This might be more sentimental than anything. May have been worth something to Darmok, but not Fee. OK. The chest on the right then. OK. Doing the same thing with the chest on the right, inserting the key, popping it open.

Fee is going to slowly open the lid of this chest and the light from his torch is going to catch the gleam of gold and jewels. This is you just eyeballing this chest, but you would figure there's probably about 15,000 gold worth of valuables here. OK. Fee is going to... His eyes are going to go really wide, just like, "Holy fuck, I have hit the jackpot. This is more money I've ever seen in my life." He's going to jump up and do a couple of fist bumps and then he's going to pick up a couple of coins. He's going to kiss one of them and he's going to jump up and spin around with excitement.

And then as he spins around, he catches sight of the door. When he finally starts looking back at the chest, he throws the two gold pieces down back into the chest violently and just goes, "Ugh, friends!" And he goes back to opening the third chest. OK. Inserting the key into the center chest, turning the key, lock pops open. Fee is going to slowly open the chest lid and there will be... She looks like Jatzia, but it is a body curled up in the fetal position. It would appear as though that there are claw marks all over the inside of this chest where this poor girl tried to make her way out.

She was apparently locked in this chest alive. OK. Fee will slam the lid back shut and lock the chest. OK. They can't all be winners is what the moral to this story is. Yeah. I'm seeing some criticisms in the Skype chat. I personally don't see anything wrong with it. OK. OK. Thank you. Thank you, chat. After that, Fee would go back up and knock on Jatzia's door, taking a couple of the gold coins. OK. Yeah. So he knocks on Jatzia's bedroom door and waits for a response. I imagine Jatzia would kind of like wake up, trying to make herself a little bit presentable because she was just asleep and then just go open the door.

Fee holds his hand out as if to drop something to you. And Jatzia's going to kind of give him a funny look like, "What's going on?" and then hold out her hands. He's just going to drop the gold coins and say, "I think I found your inheritance. I've also found something that I'm sure you don't want to see, but you probably should do." At first, Jatzia's going to look really excited like, "Oh, goodness. Yay. Finally." But then immediately she pretty much figures out, "Oh, great. Another fucking body." Because that's all there ever fucking is in this house.

She's going to kind of close her hand around it and sigh and say, "OK. I guess we should go take care of that then." But then she'll hold her hand back out and give you back the gold. Fee's going to smile and say thank you. All right. Let's go take care of this fucking body. Fallacil over here that and just follow you. He's like, "Ah." He knows the drill. There's a drill. He's going to walk past both of you mid-conversation as you're talking. He's like, "Oh, you're probably not going to want to see this." The second he hears those words, he's going to get up off the bed with a grunt.

He's like, "Ah. I'll get the shovel." He's just, there's a drill. He knows what's up. Oh, OK. While you're dealing with that, how about we catch up with Una and Bree? Jason, did you see me write, "I'll get the shovel" in the Skype chat? No, I didn't. Like literally 30 seconds before you said, "I'll get the shovel." Oh, I didn't see it. I wasn't. That's awesome. That's funny. I can't pay attention to Skype because it's all crazy. Yeah. There's dick jokes everywhere. But we're going to switch now to the other gender because you're both girls. Let's go. Vagina humor.

Go! OK, so... It's literally a vagina. Marish is tied up with chains and just, like, he's been knocked out with chloroform, so he'll be out for a little bit. It depends on the individual's constitution, their fortitude, so he could wake up at any time, but yeah, for now, he's knocked out. So you guys are just kind of in this torch-lit dungeon area in the basement, keeping guard over this Dragonborn. Is there anything that Una would be doing while she's down there or just kind of hanging out, keeping an eye on this thing? Because you were really, really specific last time that you want to make sure he stays tied up.

Yeah, polishing her armor or some shit, but definitely keeping an eye on this motherfucker. Like, if the chains seem to be moving at all, just really keeping an eye on him. Oh, yeah, you'd hear some noise. Like, you'd hear some rattling. Because, yeah, he looks like an old-school magician getting ready to perform some escape trick, like he is tied up with chains. Brie's going to kind of go stand in front of Marash. And again, this guy towers over her, but I mean, there's no danger right now, so she's just kind of eyeballing him, just kind of getting a closer look at the guy.

Not really saying anything, but after some time passes, she's going to turn back around to Una. So, what exactly is the plan here? We're going to wait until morning, until everyone's up and ready, and then we're going to have a nice breakfast, and then we're going to interrogate this fucker. Roll a perception check, please. Oh, right, whoops, I forgot that I tortured her. 20. 20's going to be enough to kind of see, as soon as you mention the word "interrogation," you're going to see it flash across her face, like, "Oh, I know what you mean by that. Okay, I know what you're about to do." Do you think maybe I should take the lead on this?

The interrogation portion of it? What are you implying? I'm not implying anything, I'm just saying that you can be aggressive. So can he. Look, okay, I'll admit, well actually, hey, okay, the only other person I've ever interrogated, roughly, was you. And you were a threat, so, I mean, I don't feel good about that particular bit of my history, but I think that maybe the same approach would not be unwarranted. Alright, alright, um, I guess you know what you're doing, I'm not gonna... Plus you stabbed some random guy in the hand, trying to be intimidating.

Okay, that was one time. You could see her kind of, like, she's getting ready to speak and then just, like, she kind of recoils for a second. Are we ever going to talk about the other night? Nope. Come on, I mean, are we just going to pretend it never happened, or are we just going to glaze over it, or... Look, there's nothing really to talk about, you know, um, things happen, if they're good, cool, if they're bad, fix it, right? What, was it good? I mean, for you, I mean... Oh, god, that wasn't your first kiss, right? Right? Um, do me a favor, role perception. 18, Jesus, what's wrong with you?

The, the pause is long enough that that's kind of the answer, like, she doesn't need to say anything, like, she's, while she's standing there trying to figure out how to answer that, you got your answer. Like, that's, that was probably her first kiss. And it's gonna kind of, like, lean her head down and, like, pinch the bridge of her nose and just like, "Oh, fuck." Um... Oh, this is gloriously awkward. Um, so she, she just looks kind of embarrassed that that's, like, that's your reaction to that, like, it's kind of a really sensitive thing, it's like, well, yeah, kind of, and you're just like, oh, this fucking bitch, this, that makes it so much worse.

That's, that's, not that she should be surprised, but that's, that's Una's reaction. Uh, perception check? Please. I feel like I should maybe say something nice. 26? Yeah, you're picking all that up, plus, like, she's thinking maybe it was a complete mistake to even address it again, but the, the fact that, like, she figured it's like, oh, I guess stuff's going on, but we'll get to this later tonight, and it didn't happen, and then it didn't happen the next day, and then you didn't tell, it's like, are we ever going to go back to that? That, that's like your, yeah, she just feels stupid for bringing it up.

Good. No, um, no. Um, so Una's gonna kind of, like, look at what happened, just like, look, look, look. That's not a bad thing. I just, that was kind of a spur of the moment decision back there to do that, so I didn't really consider that maybe that was going to be your first experience with somebody sticking their tongue down your throat, and I'm sorry. Uh, if I'd known, I would have planned that a little bit better. Um, yeah, I'm, yeah. Uh, I did not, I did not expect that. You don't really need to explain it. I just, just kind of want to know what it meant to you, I guess.

I, I've never really dated anyone. Um, okay. It's like this. I have a fat crush on you. But I don't really do together-y things. Um, 'cause I'm gonna die a lot soon. Like, my lifespan is anywhere between the next five minutes and three weeks from now. I don't fucking know, but at some point, the lifestyle that I'm living, uh, I'm gonna die. I'm okay with that. It's what I want. But I don't wanna date you. But that doesn't mean I don't really, really like you. A lot. Um, do I need to remind you of who you're talking to? 'Cause I kinda already did die. I've tried to kill you before.

Yeah, I remember that. Funny enough, you know, that's kind of burned into my fucking memory. So's the torture! I'm just saying, as long as, I don't know, if both of our lifespans are really crappy, then why not? Um, look, uh, that's a good point, that is. But I am kind of selfish, and I'm not really doing this for you. I'm not saying, "Let's not be together because I don't want you to have to suffer through my death." I'm saying, "Let's not be together because, uh, I don't, uh, can we just, ugh, God." Um, she's gonna see that you're visibly uncomfortable.

Like, this is kind of like, you're kind of stammering and, uh, instead of being all, like, sure of yourself like you normally are, it's just hummina hummina. Just kind of, just kinda. Um, she's gonna hold up her hand after a second. Alright, alright, let's, okay, we both like each other, but we're just gonna kind of drop it for now, okay? Yes, thank, yes, thank God, yes. Yeah, that thing. So, in the morning I guess we'll deal with him. And she kind of motions with her head back to Marash. Uh, yeah, that's gonna be, um, I don't know, he's got the whole dragonborn thing, so I don't know how much he's gonna fess up.

Yeah, I don't think that's gonna be the same as hitting me. To be fair, you didn't fess up either. No, but I bled more. We'll see, we can make bets on that. When do you think we'll be able to wrap things up here? 'Cause I was kind of thinking of taking a trip soonish. In, in Esterhold? Outside of Esterhold. No, I mean... Oh, well yeah, wrap things up here, in the city. Where do you wanna go? I'd really like to find the group that Valus was talking about. Okay, look. Uh, we should probably talk about that, 'cause I know you wanna exact your revenge. I get that.

But, they... they killed your sisters because it was their only, like it was their only, their only choice they could've ever made, you know? It was either that or die. I mean, you killed Fi, when you were in that exact situation, you know? Kill us, or die. That's what you probably thought was going to happen. So, so you killed. People do things they don't wanna do sometimes. They probably just did it to survive. I'd still at least like to look them in the eye and just ask them. I mean, if someone killed one of your family members wouldn't you want to at least see the person who did it?

Um... I don't have family members, so no. But I can understand what you... I get it. But, look, I don't know how long it's gonna take to wrap things up here. And the faster we get out of here, the worse we look. This is kind of a mission that's steeped in public relations, as shitty as that is. So, we're gonna have to be careful with, you know, what we do and how fast we leave after everything's cleaned up. Fine. If... if they really did kill my sisters then they're probably decent fighters. It's not like they're going anywhere anytime soon. There you go. All sorted.

Um... let's do this. Let's pick up the next day. Okay, so how long would you say it took... God. How long would you say it took Valis, Jatzia, and Fi to take care of the body? Did you just take the whole chest outside? Did you take the body out of the... Imagine this time it took like ten minutes. We're good. Right on. You got it down to a science now. Um... I don't really... like however long it would take Valis. I know Jatzia would want to check out those books. Oh, okay, so, okay, Fi did talk about the books and... Well, they were in the same room, weren't they?

Yes. So when they go down to see the body, I imagine. Like, ooh, books. Do me a favor, Jatzia. Roll an Arcana check. That's 26 sound. 26 is pretty damn good. These books are pretty damn valuable to Jatzia. Particularly the demon one. There is a ritual in which you can summon some of the most god-awful abominations ever known to this plane of existence. We're talking pit fiends. We're talking greater... we're talking greater demons. We're... I mean, bad stuff. One of which would be very, very important to Jatzia personally. The problem being that Jatzia, if she were to attempt this ritual now, the risk would be really, really high.

Because she doesn't quite have the whole blood magic mojo down yet. She hasn't gotten a lot of practice, so... Your odds of success would be slim. Just to let you know. Beautiful. Yes. Alright, so she is going to take that book. Okay. And any of the other ones that look interesting and throw them in her pack so that she'll always have them, even if they do end up going somewhere else. Okay. Your pack is heavy as shit. Imagine she'd switch out some of the ones she's read. Okay. Okay. I'm just... okay. Still true, I think. Right. It's like a kid's book bag at this point.

Like, it's just full of these big, heavy tomes. But after that, I would imagine you're going to get some sleep, finally. Just kind of crash. Yeah, probably. Okay. So, let's pick up the next morning, everyone. Unless, uh, Kaluna and Merrick want to chit-chat a bit? Merrick's just mortified, so I don't think he's up to doing anything or talking to anybody in particular right this second. Okay. Kaluna would sort of just pat his back, you know? Kind of a there-there. Um, the next day, um, let's do this. Everyone roll a perception check, please. Eighteen. Twenty-eight.

Twenty-three. Nineteen. Let's roll down the list here. Um, Una, um, you are going to hear these chains rattle. Um, that is, uh, Marish coming to, realizing he's bound, struggling against these, trying to yell, and then realizing that that's not going to work. Dude, could I-could I have slept down there? Um, I would imagine you and Bree just kind of taking turns. Okay, cool. Yeah. Um, so firstly, everyone give yourselves a rest. Um, so yeah, uh, Marish is definitely conscious. Um... Bring in some breakfast. Um, Thales and Jatzia. Jatzia is going to wake up. Uh, what did you get?

Eighteen. Okay, um, right next to the bed on-on the end table, um, as she's kind of cracking open her eyes for the first time, um, she's going to see this beautiful bouquet of roses, um, kind of tied together with this really elegant pink bow. Um, and it's just kind of sitting there on the, uh, on-on the end table there. Um, it looks like they were just freshly-they look exactly the same as the ones out in the garden in the back. Um, near the hedge maze. Not in the hedge maze, I want to stress, but near the hedge maze. Uh, and it-it looks like these were-these were just, uh, these were just went and-and picked.

Aww. So is, uh, Valus still asleep? Uh, yeah, like he is conked out next to you. Just-he's also a heavy snorer. Oh. Okay, um, Valen, uh, John Zia's going to pick up the flowers and, you know, do what girls do when they get flowers. You know, smell 'em. Then, I guess, if there's a vase around or something like that so she can put them. Oh yeah, sure. Yeah, um, not in the room, but like, yeah, there's definitely one in the house. Alright, so she'll, um, well she's not going to go find one right now, so she'll just kind of like cuddle up to Valus really quick, which she, notably when they sleep together, she doesn't really do that.

Like, at most she'll let, like, him touch her arm. Okay. But she like, kind of, you know, um, but she'll kind of lay on his chest and give him a big hug to wake him up. Um, he's going to kind of reflexively, like, kind of like wrap his-his-his arm, like, kind of around you and just, and, but he is-he's going to kind of wake up and then just realize, like, wait, that's not-that's not what we normally do. That's not-that's not the normal thing. So he's just kind of-he's just kind of like, kind of looked down and almost-almost a look that's like, "Everything okay?" Because that's not the normal thing.

Um, she'll just, like, give him a kiss on the chin and just say, "Thank you." For what? She's, um, she'll look confused for a second and blink a few times and then she's going to kind of just nod towards the roses. Um, roll a perception check please. 13. 13. Okay. Um, there's a look that kind of crosses Valus's face that you're not, like, you can't quite distinguish. And, um, like he's darting back and forth between the roses and-and Jadzia's face. And he can see how happy they make you. I didn't get you any roses. Oh. Um, Jadzia's just going to stare at the roses for a moment like, "That doesn't really make any sense because she sent the demon away." Um, there's really no reason for anyone else to get her roses so she's going to kind of look at Valus like, "Well, what the fuck?" Would you like me to go get you roses?

No, no, you don't have to. I'm just confused. I mean, I'm not that heavy a sleeper. And who in the house would get me roses? Hmm. And then she's going to kind of pause for a moment and then she's going to go, "I did give C that gold." And then she's going to kind of shrug like this is upsetting. So she's going to kind of pointedly ignore it and be like, "Okay." Um. That's weird. Valus is going to kind of like stretch and like you hear like bones crackle and stuff like that normal morning stretch and stuff. For Valus anyway, like the loud crackling of bones and shit.

You can ask the group when you see them next if you like. Jadzia's going to kind of harden a little bit. Like not so much that she looks angry, but she's going to harden a little bit and she's going to be like, "I don't like the idea of someone being in my room while I'm sleeping." "I was here the whole night. I don't remember the door opening." She's going to shake her head and like put her hands on her forehead because she thinks she's overreacting now. And she's going to go, "You're right. This is stupid." And stand up and start getting ready for the day.

Um. Okay. Let's catch up with, uh, with Kaluna and Merrick. So the two of those, you two are waking up and getting your stuff together, I would imagine. Um. Let's see. Um. Actually, you know what? I would say that Kaluna and Fi would hear this. Um. So you're going to hear the sound of glass breaking downstairs. In the living room area specifically. What it sounds like is someone threw something at your window and then you can hear it kind of thud and roll around. Okay. Okay. Um. Fi would run to investigate. Um. Was it a window at the front of the house? Yeah. This is near the front door.

Okay. He's got these really large kind of, uh, these really large windows on either side of the front door. Um. Can Fi open the front door and look out, see if he could see anyone who was, who might be like, looking like they are leaving the area? Um. Absolutely. So, uh. Okay. Um. Roll a perception for me when you get to the room real quick, please. 23. Okay. Um. It looks as though someone has thrown a stone through your living room window and it also looks like there is a note attached to the stone. Um. Looking outside, um. You can see, uh, kind of a hooded, uh, hooded drow figure.

Um. And this person is not alone. Uh. It would appear as though there is a pack of drow outside. Um. And looking around, kind of like both sides, I would imagine the first thing he goes like, "Okay. How many?" And, and he's just kind of looking around. It looks as though the house could be surrounded. Okay. Um. Yeah. Fi is gonna shut the door and go and read what it says on the note. Um. So. Uh. Then all the note says is, "We wish to speak with your leadership. Step outside." Um. Fi would probably take that too. You know, then. Sorry, I'm catching up with Skype chat now.

Dude, I literally had to take off my earphones at some point. Did you seriously? I seriously took them off my ears and like, just like. What is broken in you? Seriously? I don't know. Who's that? That scene was fucking cute though. Yeah. It's, it's. I'm saying you have a boyfriend. What are you fucking like? I could taste vomit in the back of my throat. I'm not even kidding. Like, I know it's like, it's a joke that people throw up about cute stuff. Like, I literally threw up a tiny little bit. That is. But it's adorable. It is. It's so cute. And I just gotta say, Jason, sometimes you throw out one line, like, you're actually a really good actor.

And like, it hurts me. And that, "So was the torture. Hurt me." Aw. Like, I had to curl up. It was a very good line. Just so you know. You threw it out very well. I thought it was shit. Well, no one asked you. Oh, so I like Izzy's death thing. That was sad. Yeah. It's super sad. There's a good reason, I guess, for Una not to want to be attached to anything and just kind of like live in the now and everything, but that definitely crosses into Izzy territory. What? Dude, you obviously have some weird thing with intimacy. Like, the QTE portion. I do have a weird thing with intimacy.

It's not the kind for this conversation. No, no, no, no. Okay, fine. It is super- it kind of came off like Una's kind of suicidal. Almost. A little bit. Like, wanting to die. Well, I mean, I guess- Like, it's in your schedule. It's like any minute now. This is- The way it was said, it was like, "I'm okay with it happening. I want to live this way," is what you said. But then it also came off a little bit like, "I want to die." Well, she figures when she gets to die, she gets to go bro it up with her god and like, go live with all of her heroes in like, a heaven where you just beat the shit out of people and eat and drink all day.

Like, that's what she wants. Like, she's in it for the insurance, obviously. Like, life is nothing else but like, a slight path to heaven. Sounds nice. That's gonna burn for all eternity. I was gonna say, we should probably take care of that whole soul thing. Yeah, that whole demon soul thing. Guys, I have a book that can summon demons that could probably fight dragons, just saying. It could also probably destroy you all. Yeah, that too. There's just a big pit left. It's like the woman who swallowed the fly. Are you guys in character or not? We know that you have the demon.

Valus does. Oh, yeah, you know that she has a little demon. Not like the demon has your soul thing. No. Yeah, you guys were there for that. You broke down the wall. Because Valus punched and hurt himself. How's his hand, by the way? Great. You okay? Yeah, it's sore. Just, you know. Or maybe. He won't complain about it. Yeah, sore. I'll whisper to Merrick later. We should go look at that. He's an asshole and won't say anything. But yeah, he's stubborn and stupid. Just go hold his hand. He'll be freaked out. So, um, Fie is going to bring this note to Una. Fie would go down to Una and go, "Hey, Una," and chucker the rock and say, "That came through our window.

This was attached to it. It looks like, scaling my chest up, his boys have come round to pick him up." Bummer for them. It looks like the house may be surrounded. We probably should have not slept. Fuck. Well, do I read the note? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, Fie would have handed it to you. Okay, um, what does it say again? Um, "We wish to speak with your leadership. Step outside." You will note there's no "please" in this note. Is there a window anywhere nearby? Not in the basement. Okay, I'm going to walk up to the library, or wherever the end of the basement is, I don't know, and open a window.

Okay. I'm going to scribble a little note, I'm going to tie it to the rock, and I'm going to chuck it at the nearest hooded figure. Okay, what would the note say? The note is going to say, "Beep more polite. You fuckers. Come on." Okay. Roll a perception check, please. 32. Okay, so this rock is going to land near one of these hooded drow. And, kind of quizzically, he's going to lean down and pick it up. Because they didn't expect a note back. They expected you to come out. And it's like, "What are we doing? Okay." So, this drow is going to run off and head towards the front of the house where it would appear as though the lead drow is.

And take this note. So, while he's doing that, is there anything you guys would like to discuss? Because that's going to take a few minutes to... Let's go talk to Marish. I would grab V and drag him down there with me. Yeah, V would go to the entire gate, too. Okay. Where would Jadzia be now? Because it's like, getting ready, but how long am I going to ignore the fact that there are a bunch of drow outside? Oh, that's totally up to you. Now, if V didn't say anything, you guys really wouldn't know much about it. You didn't really hear the initial glass breaking, so I imagine you guys would be coming downstairs at some point, though.

You're kind of getting ready. You always reconvene at the beginning of each day, kind of figure out what you're going to do. So, if you want to make your way down the steps, you totally can. Alright, I will be doing that while they interrogate, because this seems like something we should pay attention to now. Yeah, I think at this point, Maric would be making his way down. I think he's taken on making breakfast for everybody if he can, or at least starting stuff up, so just kind of catching wind of all of this, but maybe not what's happening downstairs.

Kaluna would be with Maric. Can I take this moment to be a jerk and talk about Kaluna's aspect change? Sure. So, I imagine, obviously Maric would have been the first one to notice, but I imagine when Jadzia went downstairs, she would see too that Kaluna is no longer white and glowy and stuff. She now has normal green leaves and stuff, but she has a bunch of thorns growing off of her, and they're all really, really big and really scary. And they've torn through everything that isn't really solid of her clothing, which is basically just her pants. And her eyes are just jet black.

And she's not happy peppy Kaluna right now. She's sort of stalking around Maric, sort of like a grumpy cat or something. You know, like a tiger in a cage, ready to maul something. Okay. Wow. So serious business Kaluna. Jadzia will move the fuck away because you're both fucking scary as shit. What the hell? You have a party full of murderers. So, Valis is going to, Valis is going to, so okay, first of all, let's do this. Jadzia and Valis are going to descend the steps. Let's have them both roll perception really quickly here. Holy shit. Valis was more perceptive than Jadzia by a mile on that one.

That's weird. Actually, Valis is going to notice the broken glass all over the living room and kind of keep Jadzia from stepping in it. Just because like, hey, hold on one second. And just kind of like point down to the glass and just kind of like gently steer her around it. Like, no, I mean, it's meant to be protective, but to most people come up as like, well, you're too stupid to realize that that glass is sharp. Let's just move you around. Like just he means well, but it's kind of overprotective. Walking into the kitchen area where where Merrick and Kaluna would be, Valis is going to give a fucking death stare to Merrick walking into the kitchen.

Just he's going to be polite, like not like bark at him or anything like that, but just kind of like just kind of like as soon as he makes eye contact with him, just just like just like you could tell he does not like you. As soon as Kaluna notices Valis and Jadzia, she's going to stop pacing and just sort of, you know, that weird animal thing where like they notice something. So they just stop and they stare at it really, really intently. And and not it probably wouldn't be too loud, but Merrick could hear her start just a low rumble, just a steady growl.

Valis is just going to kind of like stare at her almost like, what the fuck is wrong with you? Like, what do you just like he's not Valis knows he's not going to attack Merrick. He was asked not to. But I don't think Kaluna would get that. Like, there's. Right. So, yeah. So she's yeah. OK. So, yeah, they just locked in a death stare. She is also very protective. So Jadzia need to like insight check on this or is this just like you walk into a room where people are just throwing plates at each other like. Like, I would say the animosity is pretty much on the face of it.

Right. This is how she was moving and then just like stops, stares and the events that have already happened. No. The second she sees Galua, who looks fucking scary now, she's going to take a half step back, like house full of murderers and bodies because he looks scary. She looks scary to you, to be fair. But then she's going to kind of hold up her hands because she notices what's going on. She's going to say, look, we're going to need to talk. Who broke the window? Yeah, Merrick will be in the middle of actually cooking. He'll be like, what? Not what? Glass floor window.

We can talk about all of this later. And she's going to kind of motion to both Valis and Kaluna. She's not even motioning towards Merrick right now. It's between them two at the moment. Yeah. Yeah. She's like, we can deal with this in a minute. Who broke the window? Then just silence. No one knows anything. Yeah, I think it's breaking out of all of this, this staring at each other. And I think Merrick will be confused enough because he didn't perceive any of that. Right. He didn't notice any of it. He's going to just put down whatever he's messing with. And assuming that the indication is sort of like, you know, the front window kind of an area, he's going to just start investigating.

OK. As soon as Merrick walks away, Valis is going to just kind of like do the thing where you're you're peering around a corner to make sure he's like just he's out of the room. And then he's going to motion over to what Merrick was cooking on the stove and kind of steal a handful of it. And she's kind of cram it down his fucking throat really quickly, just like, I don't want the satisfaction of knowing I enjoy this, but his cooking is pretty good. Let's let's let's catch up with the group and Marish here. How would you like to start this off? This should be fun.

You haven't interrogated anybody in a while. Oh ye of little faith, Jason. OK. He's gagged. So you pop that out. Just run over to him, just kind of like yank it out of his mouth. It's mostly chain wrapped around his snout. OK, cool. Then that's a good idea. He says break his kneecaps so he's shorter than me. It's a good it's a strong opening gambit. It's a way to go. OK. Just like, yeah, unwrap the chains and we'll say we're so sorry we had to tie you up, but you do kind of fight pretty hard. He is going to make a noise, which out of most creatures would just be a growl.

But this guy is fucking huge and it's just kind of a just kind of a like like he is snarling at you. I'm sorry, I couldn't get that. You heard that. You'd have me do that all day. That's the thing. So just kind of a snarl, just kind of just open his mouth wide and make that noise. And this foul fucking breath is going to come out. And it's it's rather unpleasant. OK. Who the fuck do you think you are growling at me? What the fuck? Who does that? Who growls? Fucking weird. And also brush your goddamn teeth. I mean, I realize you can't right now because you're chained up, but when you get home, maybe just take care of that fucking dental hygiene.

Marish is going to just kind of like close his mouth, narrow his eyes at Una and just you can see just ever so slightly, you can see him kind of testing his restraints again. Just just like maybe I didn't try hard enough. Maybe if I just really try to get out of this so you can kind of see him like like testing his arms, testing his legs, just trying to like muscle out of this and it does not appear to be working. Can can he put his blade against the back of his neck? You sure can. And say don't even try it. Do me a favour roll an intimidate check. Twenty five.

OK, that's a pretty good intimidate check. He is going to he's going to kind of like you can you can see he's going to stop moving and just kind of accept the fact that's like, OK, all right. You got me for now. But he's not going to break. He's not going to break out of contact with Una. OK. Thank you for closing your mouth. Now, you're a dragonborn, so you're probably decently respectable. You understand honor, that sort of shit, right? You can open your mouth to speak. He's just kind of kind of he's just going to kind of like cock one eye, like, yeah, get to your point.

OK, so maybe let's deal with this like civilized fucking creatures. Is that OK with you? Do me a favour and roll diplomacy. Talking to like child isn't working. What are you talking about? Twenty five. He's he appears to be, again, just not calmer because he wants to be just calm, like, OK, I don't have much of a choice in terms of you're not going away. I can't get out of this. So. All right. Let's see where you're going with it. And after a couple of seconds, again, like it almost looks like he's going to try and test the restraints again. And then he just he just kind of like look like he kind of like looks in the face again.

What do you want? Well, a lot of things. I haven't eaten breakfast yet, so that'd be nice. But generally, I'd like you to get the fuck out of Esterhole and remove all of your operations here. And then she's just like, grin, just like, yeah, that's good. Marish is going to smile. Like you can kind of see the the you can just kind of see like the faintest smile come across his face. And he's going to say, I'm afraid that's not my call. Like very calm, like again, not growling anymore. Just like very, like very low voice. OK, that's cool. Maybe explain that, because as far as I know, you're kind of the leader of this gray cloak operation.

He is going to kind of shut his mouth. Like you can kind of see where he's setting his jaw. It's like, OK, that's it. I'm not no more. OK, dude, look like that's a bad idea. Not talking to us is a really good way to get yourself killed. I have restraint. Fi does not have as much restraint as I do. And he's the one with the fucking sword to your throat. So I'll leave you guys to talk. I'll go get some breakfast for all of us and then we'll come back down. How about that? OK, I'll just like turn around and like kind of like look at Fi out of the corner of my eye and just like kind of grin like he's all yours.

And then just go upstairs and look for a return note on my way back. We get any mail? We get any? Fi? OK, yeah, so Fi is going to move from behind the Marash. Marash, yes. Marash, yeah. To his left hand side and still with his sword to his throat. He says, your boys are surrounding the house at the moment. We don't want that. And I'm sure you don't want all of their corpses to be littering the street. I don't really want that. But that's what we've got to do to clean up these streets. That's what we've got to do. Now, are you going to tell us what we need to or should I just, I don't know, cut off a couple of fingers and chuck them out to them?

Maybe later I can chuck out a hand or two. I'm not fussy. Do me a favour, roll an Intimidé check. Turns. As you're telling him, it's like, oh, your boys have surrounded the house. Smile's going to fade away. And he's he's going to very slowly kind of like tilt his head to to his left hand side to kind of make eye contact with with Fi. What did they look like? Lots of drow, hoods. Roll Reception, please. Twenty eight. Now, let's say you were tied up and let's say that you were being held captive by the enemy and someone told you your boys are here to rescue you or attempt to.

Normally, that would elicit a response of, hey, that's awesome. That is not the look that is on Maris's face currently. It actually looks like he like emotionally just kind of sank. If they've truly surrounded the house, then you and everyone within here are all dead. I look fairly alive currently. He's he's he's going to kind of appear frustrated. Like you're not getting this like you don't you don't understand. You should untie me right now. Explain why I should do that. They're not here to rescue me. I failed them. They're most likely going to torture, then kill me.

Oh, well, should we invite them in then? Because that's all we were going to do. You do realize they're going to torture and kill each and every one of you, too. You made them appear weak. No, we made you appear weak. I was working for them. Yes, but say they can't always have a good judgment of character. Now, can they? Who are "they" in the sense of further up? Because if they hired you, that means that there is somebody higher than you. Do me a favor, roll diplomacy. Oh, God. It looks as though he he he's going to say something and then just thinks better of it and then just again sets his jaw and just almost shakes his head like, nope, nope.

Like they're already going to like they're already going to kill him in his head. But whatever they would do to him for kind of spilling his guts would be way worse. And can I jab him with a sword a little bit? To intimidate? Yes. Sure. Go ahead. 19. OK, so you're just kind of like poking him with the the the sharp end of the sword, obviously, just kind of. Yeah. You're going to see kind of pain like come across his face, but he's not he's not it doesn't look like he's going to spill his guts. Una, do me a favor. Roll a perception check. 21. Well, you were waiting for a response from outside and it would appear as though you're about to get it.

Nothing comes through the window this time, but you're going to hear a thud at the front door, followed by about 30 more. And looking at the front door, you're going to see crossbow bolts, kind of the the edge of which protruding through the door in some places. It would appear as though that the drow outside have just riddled your front door with crossbow bolts. OK, I see that like just like looking out the window or whatever. Well, you can hear it. You can kind of see it coming to the front door. That's pretty obvious. I'm going to shout to anybody else in the kitchen like I got it.

Don't worry. I think I think Merrick's actually out in this room at this point, you know, having come to investigate like what broken glass. So I don't know. Oh, yeah, that's right. But I think he's like, what the. Good times, guys. It would appear as these guys mean serious business. OK, I'm going to open the door a little a little crack, just like stick my stick my head out and just yell, seriously, we haven't even had breakfast yet, you fucks. You're paying for the door and then just slam it and bolt hit and barricade it and then sprint down to the dungeon.

OK. I just hope I'm confusing them. Just almost like, is this bit serious? Like, did we not make ourselves clear? Someone go out there and start trimming the roses. Morning, neighbor. Like, just kind of real. We just need to confuse. What's the horses? Lovely weather we're having. Would you like the paper? Yeah, I was going to say, go get the mail. Like, do you think a bathroom and slip? That's exactly what I was like. You have a bagel like a cup of coffee. Is that the middle? Is that the model for Crossroads? Because, you know, they're so much better than the old model twos.

But, you know, I don't really like the spring action they have. You're a god. I don't see how this could end any other way, but good. So let's keep going down this path. Yeah. Honestly, I think if Una really is going to do that and barricade the door, I mean, Merrick's just going to jump in and help. And then if she's going to run, he's going to run after her. Perfect. I mean, I think he's just I will trust whatever's going on. I don't know what's happening. So I'm coming with you. OK. Are we back in the dungeon? OK, let's say you are. Let's let's Jadzia, what would what would you be doing?

I don't know what the fuck is happening right now. Jadzia has no idea what's going on. People throwing shit at her house and Una's yelling at them. They're getting towards. Like nothing's been explained. Nothing. Nothing. It's just like Una's treating us as like, come on. Can we just like it's just a common occurrence, like so common that it's just you're not even bothering to tell everybody. Like varying bodies, like no big deal. What else? Um, another one, guys. So Jadzia would probably look out the window and could I roll like an insight slash perception check to try to see if I can figure it out?

I want to see if I can figure it out for myself because I know nothing. Sure. Roll a perception there. 18. Jadzia is going to kind of peek out the window and see see a ton of drow. There would appear to be at least 30 at the front of the house. And they there you can kind of see them wrap around the sides and you're gathering that they're in the back too. All of which brand brandishing crossbows crossbows except for the one in the center who's kind of wearing like everyone's wearing these really dark brown cloaks. And the one in the center is kind of decorated with like he's got like a splash of red here and there.

Like a splash of red like decorative or blood? Like decorative. Okay. Like he's trying to stand out. I imagine Valis is right next to me. Yes. You can also see them out there. And it looks like they're tying a note to another rock. Are we tweeting right now? Yes. This is Therian tweeting. It'd be dead birds if you were tweeting. Right. If it hits you in the head you've been tagged. I guess Jadzia would look back at Valis and be like, what the fuck do we do? Valis is going to start moving you away from the window just like he's peeking around your shoulder and just like, yeah, you're going to want to get away from this window.

Like that's not like that's not going to end well. And after after a couple of seconds. Sure enough, this trial is going to wind up and pitch this rock at the opposite window this time. So it's not just getting the message across like I'm going to I'm going to yeah, I'm going to break more of your shit because you're starting to piss us off now. Thanks, Eunah. That's why we can't have nice things. That's why we're covered with corpses. OK, so Jadzia would go and pick up the note and try to read it. OK. I assumed she'd actually read it. She seems pretty good at that.

Yeah, I wouldn't make you roll to read. That's just cruel. Roll to see if you've forgotten all of your years of education. Brain fart, guys, I don't know anything. What are these squiggles? Who has a fucking rod of wonder? OK, still exists in the world. Just so reading the note. It's it's really short and sweet. This is your last chance. Send out your leadership. We will kill you. Jadzia is going to say out loud, last chance for fucking what? She has not seen any of the other notes. Just fucking laugh. Also, those aren't mutually exclusive at all. Right. Like it's tough.

Like, does he mean like you could interpret it two different ways? It's like, wait, send out your leadership or we'll kill you or send out your leadership and we'll kill all of you. Like just just send one back saying your syntax is poor. Correct their grammar and syntax. OK, at this point, I imagine Jadzia would be going down the stairs and she's yelling. She's like, what the fuck is going on? People are destroying our house. She just got it. It's a nice house. Once we get all the corpses out. Marash is going to kind of like snap to and like look at Jadzia, like holding the note and just like he's looking down like, ah, shit.

Just just kind of like he knows what's happening. Is anyone going to tell Jadzia what's happening? Am I am I in the room? Oh, yeah. You're at this. You're all in the room with Marash. I look over and say, like, OK, so this guy woke up and there's a bunch of drow outside. I guess they came to rescue him and they're threatening us, the fuckers. I'm not having any of that shit. We have a prisoner and we're going to fucking talk to him. So these are the people who hired him. Yes. No, maybe hired him. Yes. Yes, they did. Who the fuck is your boss? And that's just the guy in red.

Marash isn't like he's just kind of like he's looking around the room as each one of you are speaking, but he's not saying anything. Oh, God. OK. Why is a dragon war born working for a drow? This doesn't seem like a normal occurrence. Roll history check. 17. From what you know, you can't think of any reason why they would work. It's not really a normal occurrence. Dragonborn can be hired, but they're more as hired guns, mercenaries, like, you know, shield hands, that type of thing. Actually, dragon ports make excellent shield hands when they decide to, because they have this really high honor bound thing and don't normally betray people as long as you keep paying.

But in a leadership position within an organization, that's a little weird. Unless, of course, it's a it's a Dragonborn organization. Oh, now you should do a streetwise check to see if that's special for here. Bam. 21. Everything up until today made sense. There's an organization moving into town. They're pushing out what they consider to be the riffraff or the lesser criminals so that they can take over. All that made sense. And it would make sense that they would want to they would want to section off the town and take it piece by piece. It would make.

But now there's now it appears that Marash is having his strings pulled by someone else. And that's the part that's not quite making any sense to her. OK. Um, uh, it's going to clap Jazzy on the shoulder and like, like put her arm around Merrick and say, OK, guys, learn what the fuck you can from him. Because this whole I'm not going to talk, I'm not going to smell like that thing is not working for anyone involved. And I don't know what the fuck is going on outside. So I'm going to go try and figure out what's up with that. Yeah. Marik will just say, I got it.

Feel free to hurt him. Who's who's in this room right now? I'm this would be Marik, Una, Bree, Jadzia. Valis is kind of on the stairs. I don't think Kaluna's here, though. She would have followed Merrick. OK, so Kaluna's there and Fi. So basically everyone. Everyone. OK, great. Merrick, do me a favor. Roll a perception check. 19. OK. While while Una is telling telling everyone just see what you can get out of him, kind of skulking up next to Merrick is Brianna. And you can see that she's kind of drawn one of her daggers. Oh, fuck. Brianna, no. Oh, my fucking God.

What's wrong with her? God damn it, Luca. That's an anime reference, isn't it? Nope. Actually, a video game. No, no, no. About a cat. Fucking cat. Is she just preparing something or is she looks like she's like this is she it looks like she's getting ready to do something. But Merrick is in a position to try to stop her. Yeah. Like he would really would reach out and grab. I absolutely try to stop her, whatever she's doing. OK, do me a favor. Roll an athletes check. Oh, God. Fuck. Don't grab that end. She says nine. So he's kind of marching towards marriage and just kind of brandishing a weapon like, OK, I'm going to I'm going to I'm going to take a stab at this.

Would she go past she? This would be the way I'm picturing it with Merrick would be the closest to her. That's why I had him make the check. But this is going to be just a little slow. And like he is going to notice this just a little too late. Bri's going to try and roll an intimidate check here. Let me see. This might be fantastic. You never know. Yeah, Bri is like the least intimidating person ever. She's like tiny and way fish back when her eyes to that cool black thing. She's pretty, pretty scary. Yeah. She's not even fucking silent anymore. She's a little kid with a dagger.

She's a little kid. Well, no, I mean, guys, just wait until Kaluna tries to intimidate something. I'll make you into compost, bitch. And then I'll grow babies in you. What does that even mean? Right. But I'll tell you anything. I'll tell you anything. Joe, I think about that. It's fucked up. Hannibal episode that reminds me of that show because it's fucking creepy. Bri is going to brandish one of these daggers and she what she's doing is she's holding it up. I level. So she's holding it to Marishes like she's essentially holding it up to where Marishes face is.

Everyone cross your fingers. Oh, I cross my toes for that shit. That's a 12. What she's going to do is in Bree's head. This is this enough. If the house is surrounded, like we need information now that we don't have time for a lengthy interrogation. So she's going to go ahead and stab him in the face, like on the cheek. Just like trying to just like cut his face. Just like it's like, OK, we mean business. Let's fucking go. I'm done with this. Like, but you're everyone is going to end up dead if because he told it's like, oh, no, everyone's dead. He told me like in the room, like, no, everyone's dead.

And that's and it appears as though these people aren't going away and they mean business. So, yeah, she is going to cut Marishes face on the left hand side and he is going to start he's going to start to bleed. What would the party's reaction be to that? Kaluna would pull out her dagger, just sort of like, yeah, let's do this. I'm going to grab her wrist and just yank her away. Rolling athletics check, please. God damn it. Very bad athletics. Oh, oh, excruciatingly bad. Greatness. Brie. Brie is going to jerk free of your grab and then try to cut his face again.

What the fuck? Oh, my God. Can he say something? Yes, please do. Stop. Don't do that. Brie would say to do it properly, you need to cut something less vital, something lower down. Toes are usually quite good. Do me a favor, roll diplomacy check. Convince her to not kill a dude. Oh, shit. No, sorry. Oh, Dungeoneering. Well, 13. That OK. She's going to kind of lean in to Brie or lean in, lean into herself and tell herself that she's going to kind of lean in. What's to hums us? It's going to kind of lean in and tell feet to don't worry, I'm not I'm not trying to kill him.

I just we need to kind of speed this up and then she's going to try and cut his face again. But as an intimidate, she's going to just try and it's like, I did it once. I'll do it again. Like she's just trying to intimidate. Twenty four. And she's going to kind of hold the knife up to Marish's face and just kind of drag the blade across without putting any pressure on it. I already cut you once and I'll do it again. Tell me who those people are outside. And Marish is going to kind of look look at Brie and he's going to say one word and the word is Silverclaw.

Oh, tits. Yes. I mean, no. Oh, no. People are going to kill us. It's true. History check. Please. Please. History check. 30. Yeah. Jatsy is going to fill the group in on who House Silverclaw is. Suck my dick of knowledge, guys. Don't be great if that's how you open wisdom. Is that an artifact of area? Yeah. The wing of wisdom is totally next. So Jatsy is going to drop some drops of knowledge on the group here and gonna gonna gonna tell the group about House Silverclaw and Brightport and who they are and what they do now. Normally, Silverclaw is an organization that can be hired.

They can be they they you they're hit men, mostly. They steal. They'll they'll steal for you, too. But they're kind of assassins. That's that's that's their big that's their big draw. But they do have an end game. They do. It's all about power. And in Brightport, murder usually equals equals power. What they're doing in Esterhold is kind of kind of weird, like that. You don't really know what they would be doing here. Jatsy, a roll perception, please. OK, perception check. No. Never mind. You don't you don't see it. Never mind. OK. OK. Would would that let's go outside and deal with these guys or some of us have.

Just quickly, would he have known anything previously about the Silverclaw being his background? I don't think anybody would know anything about his background. No, no, no, no, no. Being that like he was of the not not background is in character background, I think, but background is in like I see he was part of the criminal within that would would would it have been something known through criminal circles? Oh, OK. I would I think. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Like like he would know about Silverclaw like of of like, OK. Anybody who's a criminal would know about Brightport as a city anyway, because that's kind of what it's like.

It's the city of thieves. Like that's it's like that. That's where you could really make some coin. Like you can. And if you know about Brightport, you know about the houses of Brightport. OK. So your plan is to march outside now. Uh, yep. Wait, are we leaving marriage alone? Sounds like a bad idea. Oh, no, no. I would leave some people, not Brie. Hey, she got results. Yeah. Theoretically. Yes. No, not theoretical. Yeah, I guess it was a good role. Sure. But yeah, I would say like some we should like split like some people should go and deal with the Silverclaws. Some people should stay and interrogate marriage some more.

I think I think Brie should stay with marriage. I I would say Maric should stay with marriage as well, but I think we might need him for healing against the drow. What was a fight? We're all fucked. Yeah, it doesn't. It was thirty thirty five. Yeah. We know there's thirty in the front of the house and there are them on the sides and the back. So we're facing at least sixty total. So Oona should maybe diplomacy instead of the other thing she likes to do. OK. Yeah, I can do that. Promise? Yeah, I promise. Jadzia is making you promise. Yeah. Jadzia tells me to make some promise.

I'll promise. She does. OK. I don't want to die. Wherever Jadzia goes, Valus is going to follow her unless he's told otherwise. OK, so where is Maric? I'm torn. I can't decide whether I feel like not leaving Brie alone. Well, if if you would be going with Oona, then she would probably stay with Brie. But if you were going to be staying here, then she would go with Oona. OK, I'll make this I'll stay with Brie because I have I mean, yeah, because I have some torture techniques that I could try. It's always fun to try new things. Yeah, that's fair. Then we've got some fighting and healing upstairs.

If we need it. OK, for breakdown purposes, who's staying, who's going, staying, going, so going, going. Would Maric tell Kaluna to stay? I feel like I'm piggybacking. Yeah, no, I think he actually would tell Kaluna to stay. And I think it's because Maric is concerned about Brie being there and doing something horrendous. She's doing a good job. She did a good job. He missed. He didn't see that happening. He missed her trying to get towards Maric and he he couldn't grab her. I feel like he's just nervous. Would he would he say, like, make sure Brie doesn't do anything stupid?

I think he would tell her to stay. Yeah, he wouldn't be overt about it. He just like you might it might be best if you stick around here and then just sort of motion over that way. But that's about it. She becomes sticky and sticks herself to every surface in the room. I'm sticking around, I swear. So literal. I like the Kaluna's Drax. Yeah, I will catch it. All right. So opening your crossbow bolt ridden front door. Unless you're OK. Are you trying to get the jump on them or are you just like, OK, let's let's just go outside. Let's let's give them what they want.

I don't think we have a choice. Just yeah. All right. Just striding out completely confidently, not wearing any armor. OK. Bam. Looking all pretty. Tats all showing. Hot. Good. OK. Are Drow into that? We'll find out. So the lead would appear to be the lead member of this brigade of Drow is going to kind of give you this really deep bow. Really like a really elegant bow, like one arm tucked in, just one arm outstretched, like making a real show of this. And he's going to stand back up and then kind of make eye contact with you. I'm glad to see you can join us. That's a weird thing to say.

I guess I'll return the gesture, you know, really deep bow or I guess curtsy. OK. Yeah. I don't see una curtsy. Yeah, I guess like a really deep curtsy kind of like bow the head and just say, when are you going to stop shooting my door or more appropriately, our door and the door that you're going to have to pay for? Because you kind of fucked it up. I'm afraid you left us very little choice in the matter. I'm sorry if we came off as too forward. Just a little bit. I'm sorry. I just thought I'd fucking say, "Diplo-ma-see!" Oh, God. OK. I was going to say, what is it exactly that you want from us?

I feel as though we've perhaps been rude. And he's going to stick his hand out to Una. My name is Seraph. Oh, shit. Yeah. Una will shake his hand and she say, "Una on halata." Roll perception, please. 21. OK. You're going to see just the faintest look come across his face. The guy's kind of had that he's got kind of an air about him. Like, we're doing you a real favor by not murdering every one of you. So I'm really glad you could get like just kind of like completely confident. And just for a split second, it's just like when you tell him your name is like, "Huh?" Just for a split second.

And then he dips right back into his shtick. I'm afraid you have something that belongs to us. We've come to claim him. I understand that, but we also have a reason to be holding on to him for just a bit. We've been tasked with... Dammit. We've been tasked with cleaning up some of the things that he is directly responsible for making a mess of. So I'd appreciate it if you give us a little bit of time just to kind of deal with that. And then he's all yours. Roll the diplomacy check for me, please. OK. I'm sorry, I wasn't being clear. Did it sound like the last thing I said was a question?

We've come to claim him. You have a few more minutes to march him out the front door, or we're going to burn your house down and murder every single one of you. That's rude. Have we met before? The entire time this guy is kind of smiling. It's kind of a shit eating grin. This is nothing to him. "Oh, I'm going to murder all of you." He doesn't care. I don't believe I've had the pleasure. Can I roll to see if he looks familiar? You can roll Perception. Take the guy in. 22. God damn, my rolls suck. No, you don't really recall seeing this guy's specific face. It's not ringing any bells.

OK. I'm trying to figure out why he was acting all weird. Let me ask you a question. Una's not wearing her armor, correct? No, she's not. What is Una wearing? Some nice dress. A flowy dress thing. Like a short sleeve thing? Something that shows off the maximum amount of tattoos. When she's not in armor, she wants to show off all of her tats. She'd be in a tank-toppy kind of sleeves dress. OK. Let me have him roll Perception. Seraph is going to take you in. As you're asking if the two of you have met before, he's like, "No." Before that, he's going to take you in just to make sure.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong. Una has a tattoo of her mother. She does. It is on her arm. OK. That's what I thought. Seraph is going to point to that tattoo. Where did you get that? My tat. More specifically, why did you get that? Excuse me? That's my mother. Roll Perception, please. Una is offended as fuck. Seraph just appears to be a touch confused. Why do you have that? And now you're offended. I believe I know the woman. That's the only reason I asked. There's no need to be offended. How do you know my mom? Oh. Right. Again, should be noted, Una's mother was a prostitute.

Courtesan. Companion. Yeah. High class. High class. No, that back room of a bar shit. Not a durnhollow whore. Right. Not like Jaxia's mom. Hey! I just realized when you were talking about durnhollows. Oh, right. Shit. I'm sorry. Jaxia's mother always told her she was called a fancy lady. It was a lie. A fancy lady? That's adorable. Like a princess? Yeah. Like a princess. That's exactly what happened. Please go play outside. Oh god. Don't come in for like six hours. Here's a sandwich. So yeah, I would imagine that would kind of dawn on Una just after, you know, it's like, oh.

Okay, so she's gonna grin after she realizes and just say, "Striking resemblance is there not?" He's, okay, he's looking her up and down. And you can almost see where his body shifts and it's like, okay, let's change the subject. This is not, nope, not dealing with this. Fun. We should get back to the topic at hand. The dragonborn that you have not delivered to us as of yet. Look, I understand that you're probably on a tight schedule, but we kind of have things to deal with by ourselves. And honestly, I really don't want to shed any blood. I'm not even dressed for that.

Now, why don't you and a few of your men come inside, have some tea, chit chat, maybe even meet the prisoner. And then we'll deal with this like civilized people, not like fucking wolves surrounding a dying animal. Okay? Diplomacy check, please. Do I get a seducer for the "I'm not dressed for this?" Are you... That's gross. Okay, I want to be... hold on. Stop. I want to be very clear. Are you sky walkering this situation and hitting on a family member? I'm just asking. Hey, we don't know that he's my dad. Right, I'm asking Izzy, not Una. I'm making sure and then I'm gonna ask...

Okay, look. Are you actively trying to seduce? Like just like that? I'm being clear. Okay, honestly, I think that's what Uun would do. Being like, dude, I know he was into my mom. Right. So clearly, since we look almost identical, I'm probably not horrible to his eyes. So maybe I can use this to my advantage. Okay, go ahead. That's so fucking gross, though. Okay, you know, I'm just gonna roll it without it because I can't fucking do that. Like I'm gonna meta that shit, no. 35. I didn't even need it. Um... God damn. I'm sorry, that is metagaming right there, 100%, but I'm sorry.

There's a skeev factor that... It's for my own fucking self-respect, you know? I hear you, I hear you. Um, Seraph is... Fun matters almost to crit. He is contemplating your offer. And he's going to lean in very close. Actually, you're almost cheek to cheek because he's going to whisper in your ear. Why do they always do that? This is not a sexy time thing. No, I know. Okay. And then he's gonna kind of like lean back and look into Una's eyes. And he's gonna take a step back and just kind of like fold his arms and like look at Una like, "Are we clear?" Like that kind of, like, "Did I get my message across this time?" Um...

Jesus, ugh, okay. Uh, Una will just like smile and just kind of, "Right this way, sir." Oh god. Sorry, Skype chat. Kinda, right? God damn it. I was warned too and I clicked the link anyway and I don't know why. Alright guys. So seven of Seraph's, uh, well it's kind of scattered. It's actually more female based than male. Being as how they're drow. So they are going to follow Seraph in. And I'm guessing you're just gonna lead him right to Mirash. Up to you though. I thought we were gonna have like tea and crumpets first. Okay. Can we actually just make him- There's a good chance the second they see Mirash they're going to attack him.

So it's actually probably best if you don't bring him out. Yeah, that's what I figured. Like, I said like come in, you know, have some tea. Right, okay. I didn't know you meant that literally. I did not mean that literally. Just go down to the parlor, you know. Right now they don't know where he is in the house. I mean I'm sure they can find him pretty quickly, but you know. There's a lot of dungeons. That's the thing. They could get lost. We just lead them from dungeon to dungeon like, "Oh, I thought it was this one. No, it's the one near the kitchen. Oh fuck, we're sorry.

This is so embarrassing." We just moved in. We're still getting used to it. Yeah, Merrick could stretch the hash browns he's been making, you know, over several people if need be. Oh, some hash browns went into the spot. So yeah, let's invite them into the parlor and like serve them some like food and tea and stuff. Serif is going to take a seat while the rest of his men are just kind of like fanning about. Like they're just kind of like, they're gonna kind of surround him and fan out a bit. He looks comfy as shit. Like he'll just kind of sit down and just like, not a care in the world.

Just like, "All right, let's, I'll play the game." And he's gonna have a seat. What's the rest of the party going to do here? Is everyone just gonna kind of sit down and try to chat this out? Like, you know, like... Fair is fair. When Jogzia and Ballas had their kiss, Oona did an insight check to see if she realized anything. Can I insight check this dude and Oona when I come in? I would say yes. Roll, um... Yeah, okay. Roll an insight check. 23. So while they're kind of sitting down and Oona and Serif are kind of exchanging looks, there's definitely something.

It wasn't the standard Oona going outside to threaten to punch something and then it goes away. They got here through different means. Something happened between the two of them. You're picking up a vibe. Something's up. Right. Then, yeah, I guess Jogzia will just kind of stand in the corner. I don't think she'd want to sit down. Just in case shit pops off. Right. Got it ready to conceal in any second. Don't hit me! Just ducking behind like an ottoman or some shit. Don't touch me! Don't touch me, fine. Don't touch me. Don't touch me. That's my theme song, man. Love Brack.

Honestly, if this is really what's happening and Maric kind of figures it all out, I think he would try to keep as calm as possible to make sure that this seems cordial, diplomatic, and he would offer to go get and he would just sort of make his own way and actually bring some sort of tea or some sort of whatever he could to make this an actual moment rather than just everybody sits down. Let's all be awkward at each other for a minute. Yeah. Okay, that's probably okay. That could ease some tension. Yeah, just a little diplomacy without like a proper diplomacy type moment, but just, you know, up front, up front loading the diplomacy.

Right. After a beat, Seraph is, uh, Seraph's gonna look over to Una. So, may I ask where our mutual friend is staying? He's in the house, and he's very secure. Now, you hired him, is that right? He was doing some work for us, yes. What kind of work? Um, roll a diplomacy check for me. Ugh. Twenty. Um, Seraph is gonna kind of lean forward. Let me ask you a question. How long exactly have you worked for the town guard? We don't work for the town guard. We were deputized by the mayor and maybe twenty-four hours. Seraph's gonna kind of give this really wide, like Cheshire Cat smile, and then kind of like look up to one of the people standing next to him, um, and then just kind of give this really slight nod, and then look right back at Una.

Um, I'm gonna look over towards Merrick, um, grin at him, and give him a really slight nod. [Laughter] And then look back at the guy. Yeah, he grinned. He just has a small grin. [Laughter] Aborable. [Laughter] You really have no idea what you've gotten yourselves into, do you? Why don't you enlighten me? Because clearly I am oh so confused. There's no need for sarcasm. Again, we're all being diplomatic here, aren't we? I rolled my eyes and I forgot that Una can't do that. It's like I have to actually say Una rolls her eyes. But yeah, just sorry, continue.

Marish was laying some groundwork for us. We plan on moving into Esterhold very soon, and he was kind enough to get the ball rolling. As you can see, they have a very loose grip on security here. Things have become tense in Brightport. So you're looking to have a nice little vacation home in Esterhold. Is that what it is? Something like that, yes. [Sigh] I'm not entirely in love with the idea of a city being ruled 100% lawfully. But I'm also not really at home with the idea of a major Brightport crime organization moving in and getting all cozy here. This has been my city for a long time.

He's just still leaning forward, still keeping eye contact. Then you should know that it's time for a change. Clearly, the city's own mayor can't keep control. There's a strict division between church and state. Perhaps you could come work with us. You could have a chance to make some real change and protect the city you love so much. [Laugh] I'm sorry. What? Is he saying we should get rid of the division of church and state? Because I'm okay with that. Well, off the bat, he's asking if you would like to work for Silverclaw. Guys, what the fuck? Real quick, would Jodzia know yet that the, whatever Theramax was called has changed as much as it has?

Does she even know about the other two houses? She knows everything about Silverclaw. Yeah, you'd know about Silverclaw, which means in conjunction you'd know about House Darkspane, because that's been around for decades. You'd know about Hammerhand, but you wouldn't know about any of the recent dealings in Rhyport. Thales would. Well, there you go. Thales, maybe time to fucking chime in. Yeah, I was actually going to have Jodzia lean over and be like, "You know about Silverclaw, right? What's going on?" Fee would not make any kind of noticeable reaction, but he would be slightly interested in the "you could come work for us." Right, that's right up Fee's alley.

Yeah. Okay. That's an interesting proposition. Would you mind clarifying? From what my scouts tell me, you... your group has a certain flair. You did manage to take out both Mirash and his men. And he's going to look to Fee. There were a specific subset of you that we're particularly interested in, but you would all make useful members, we think. What are your plans for the city of Esterhold? Go ahead and roll diplomacy, please. God, fuck! What the hell? What the hell is wrong with my diplomacy rolls? Oh, god. You get nervous in front of daddy. I guess. Even his daddy issues are coming to bands.

Why did he come at my dance recital? He was only sleeping. You said you were just going to go get milk and some cigarettes. Why? Sorry. No. Just a little bit. Just a little bit. Fucked up the diplomacy check and... What are your plans for the city of... Sorry, Esterhold? I am so sorry. My hash browns are hitting me kinda hard. There are beads in those. Gross. Clear the room, guys. More tea, everybody? Oh, god. So you're asking what are your plans for Esterhold? He's going to kind of sit back in his chair here. And he's kind of looking at Una just kind of... Like you completely dodged his question.

He's offering you a spot and you just kind of skirted past that. You realize that we don't often simply ask if a particularly gifted individual would like to join our house. Normally there's a trial. I would have to consult with other members. But in this particular instance, I'm giving you a very unique opportunity. I'm sure you are. But because unfortunately I'm not fucking stupid, I don't just accept things without knowing about them beforehand. And just for the record, I don't want to be intimidating. But normally how this would go is we would kill you.

So I think we're both kind of going out of our depth. So what are your plans for the city of Esterhold? Roll an intimidate check for me, please. Damn it! I was trying to be diplomatic about that. She did say I don't mean to be intimidating. Yes, but then she said, "Normally we'd murder you." That's just the statement of fact. It's not a... OK, yeah. Can I... I don't know. I don't want to be very diplomatic. It was a very diplomatic intimidate. Why do my fucking rules suck so much? Can someone else just step in and do this, please? Matty issues, man. Same thing.

Gotta put my armor back on. You might have to. I'll step in. So when Una starts talking about normally how this would go is we would murder you all, a couple of his female assassin bodyguard type people are going to draw their swords and just kind of keep them at their side. But just to let you know, it's like, we have weapons. We're ready to go. Just kind of like a gentle reminder that this isn't a completely sociable visit. OK, the second swords come out, Jodzia is going to kind of put up her hands, not in like surrender, but like a calm down kind of motion.

Almost exactly what you did with Ballas and Kaluna earlier. Yeah, and all joking aside, Merrick will start trying to mess with the tea and try to make sure everybody's cups are filled. Oh, my God, you're just the cutest little thing. OK, so she's going to say, I don't want to apologize for Una because I don't think she's actually doing anything wrong. She's just going to say very quickly, the reason she asks is because we've been tasked with taking care of the city. We've been asked by several groups to help watch over the city. And we just want to know what you are planning to do here.

My diplomacy sucks balls. Can I assist with that one? Technically, don't I get a plus one anyway? Yeah, it's true because she's in the same room as me. Yeah. So 19. Plus the tea. Plus the tea, which is another like what, 12? Actually, that would be a diplomacy assist potentially, right? I mean, that was the point. It's diffusing. Like it's meant to be. Right, right. It's calm, we're all calm. Like you can't hold your sword if you've got a cup of tea in your hand. Exactly. I'll give a plus one for tea. That's a 20. Right. Una, take your top off. Thought it was gross earlier, just do it.

Just yank it down. There we go. 21. Dear Dungeons and Randomness, I am sick of the always- I'm just gonna write the email for you, gentle listener who might be pissed off. Seraph is gonna motion to his hench ladies. Just, okay, put him away. His hench babes. Okay. His army of sexy bitches. Yes, that's another way. That's another way. That's where I call my group whenever I'm in Dragon Age, by the way. Doesn't matter who I'm with. Army of sexy bitches. I call them the babe squad. He's going to kind of look to Jadzia. If you're here to protect the city, then our interests align.

You hand us Marash, we'll walk away peacefully. No blood needs to be shed, and if you'd like to accept our offer, I'd be happy to fill you in on any gaps of information. Suffice to say, it would be a very good thing for your group to join us. I would rather not have you against us. Okay, just to clarify though, out of game, he did say earlier that they wanted to move into the city, right? Yep. So he's still avoiding answering that fucking question. Yep. Okay, just checking. Shit. Someone else, tie again. Tie again. Okay. I have my hands like, clamped up in my head, like an athlete after running around.

Every time I've gone to calm someone down, I've done the hand motion. That's awesome. Okay, fuck. Okay, look. What you're offering is very tempting. I don't know much. Call him daddy theorist. It'll give him like a negative six for the rest of the entire conversation. Just papa. Daddy. It's daddy. I wanted S to hold O to myself. You said I could have it. You said, you said, you said. Just throw a fucking tantrum, get on the floor, like. It turns into a rejected character from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Girl with the assassin father. Yeah. Okay. What was I saying?

I forgot before we got distracted by being hilarious. You were saying, I want all the candy to myself, daddy. Please kill everyone. Right. What you're offering is extremely tempting. I know that Silverclaw is a powerful house, but I doubt you as an organization would get into bed with anyone if you didn't know almost everything about them. You said you've had scouts looking at us. You know what we've been up to. You know what we're doing. You know our motivations. I'm just asking for the same intelligence, but I'm asking you for it, not spying on you. Do me a favor.

Roll me one more diplomacy check. God damn please. Fuck. Twenty-three. Do you want to mess up my salvo plus for being in the same room with myself? I think you're always in the same room with yourself, unless something's very wrong. Sorry. Had to acknowledge that in the chat. Normally I'd ignore it, but God damn it can. How much do you know about the mayor of this city? Should I roll it streetwise? Well, it's more about a rhetorical question almost. How much do you actually know about the woman you've been working for? If it's rhetorical, then I'm not supposed to answer.

Not truly rhetorical. It's not an actual knowledge check thing. He's asking, "What do you know about her?" She seems pretty level-headed. She understands that the city is in trouble. She seems to want what's best for the people. She gives a lot of respect to the Temple of Kord, which, as you can probably tell, I'm extremely associated with. She meets all the requirements. As you're rattling this off, the smile on his face is just getting wider. Cheeky fucker. She's had a crime problem in this city for quite a while. Characters like -- and he's doing the thing where you're trying to recall something.

You can kind of see he's kind of counting on his hand. Cecil? Cecil. That's right. Have been a thorn in her side for a few years at least. Your beloved mayor hired Silverclaw. Can I insight check that? Please do. Yes, thank you. 22. That seems on the level to you. That seems like that's factual. Can I insight too? Yeah, can everyone roll insights on that? I would say -- go ahead. Everyone roll insight. That's pretty big. 20? Fuck. 34. Crit? Oh, I'm almost crit. Ah, Merrick, we love you. 24th -- Merrick -- You furry little fucker. Not only does that seem like a true statement, that seems like he's almost proud to tell you.

Like, "Oh yeah, she hired us. That's why we're here." You do remember when I said that she has a very loose grip on things within the city. She couldn't deal with her own crime problem. She hired us to come take care of it for her. It wasn't long before we saw the potential. We decided to cancel our contract with the woman. And as he's rattling this off, he's just kind of laying it all out. It's like, "Alright, well, fuck it. Let's talk. Let's actually let you see what's going on." So, out of game real quick? Yeah, let's keep taking breaks to discuss these things.

Jesus fucking Christ. Marash was killing the guard because the guard was seedy. Yes. He's a good guy. That's legitimately what he was doing. Yes. We beat the shit out of him. Yes. Tied him up. Yes. Portrait him. Okay, somebody sprint downstairs. Well, to be fair, he did it for money. Like, he's not a good guy. Yeah. So why the fuck do they want to kill him then? Because he failed. It's an honor thing. Drow. Drow aren't very honorable at all. They're not very honorable. They just hold it against you. So, that may be a question you might want to ask. Yeah, definitely. But what would we do with him?

Where would we... I mean, we can't just sort of get him out the back door because they're surrounding. We might be able to negotiate. I mean, honestly, I don't really give two shits if he dies, but we might want to negotiate his release. You know? Honestly. I'm sure if we join Silverclaw, they'll probably, you know, if we end up doing that. I feel like we might want to. Jodzia doesn't really have any interest in Silverclaw. She would rather do the other house that doesn't exist, but she doesn't know that. But considering they were hired to do the same thing we were hired to do, but they're not anymore.

We could get in there. We could still keep trying to do what we were trying to do. Well, what it sounds like to me, it sounds like they're kind of cunts because they were like, "Hey, we're hired to go clean up the city. Okay, let's go clean up, kill the riffraff." Then they come in and then it's like, "Oh, hey, this place is kind of nice. Let's become the riffraff we were killing." That's kind of what it seems like. So, it's like, if we join them, we'd have to destroy our own organization if we were going to clean up the streets or anything. Like clean up the streets or whatever.

Uh... Also, they seem like sneaky, cowardly fucks. Yeah. Also, also, is Brianna up here? Nope, she's still fucking stabbing the dragon for her. Go, go, go, go! Someone should have stayed down there. Because Brianna wants to go to Brightport. That's true, she does. Oona knows that Brianna wants to go to Brightport. Oona doesn't encourage it, but she knows. Nope. Yeah. Yeah, that's true. Dude, road trap! There's a lot of choices. Yeah, I'm going to ask why they want to kill Marish. Okay. Um, Oona will kind of like face him. And you say, "Okay, all that kind of checks out.

Why, then, are you going after the dragonborn? I mean, sure, he failed and embarrassed you, but he fought well and was pretty... Damn it, Bri. Whenever I get something on Skype, it just pops up in the corner so I can see it no matter what. I have to turn that off. Um... Right, um, he fought bravely. He didn't run. He had to beat him. No, go ahead. I'm just going to chime in with, to be fair, he did kill the guy he was supposed to. So he didn't really fail. So, why exactly are you trying to kill him? Like, he's almost exasperated at this point. Like, are we still talking?

This is still happening. Marish isn't exactly all he seems to be. We hired him to set up a foundation for us in Esterhold. His job was to make sure that we segregate the lesser criminal elements and keep them in the lower end of the city. Meanwhile, Marish and his men were supposed to strong-arm local businesses, basically keep things out of control for the mayor. He was not supposed to kill any guards. What we found out was that unlike most Dragonborn, he seems to have some sort of religious affinity within the city. He went rogue and decided his honor was more important than the mission we hired him for.

That is unacceptable. If he wanted to be a do-gooder, he can be so on his own time. When he's working for us, he will execute the orders we've given him. Failing that. And he's gonna kind of look around the room. I'm afraid the only penalty is to terminate our contract with him. And then murder him. [laughter] Like, terminate the contract, like sign here. Sign here. Thank you, sign here. Well, what if it's excelled? And then, uh... They're big on this contract thing. That is their form of honor. If there's a contract... In Brightport, they have such a problem with crime that these contracts...

That is your word. Your word is your bond. And those three houses have existed so long because those three places are known for getting a job done as long as there's some sort of contract and agreement. The problem is that they violated that by terminating their contract with the mayor, Keller. So they've already went back on their word, which is kind of a black eye on their name. Excellent. So pointing that out might get me some sort of strategic advantage? Might also get you murdered straight up. Cool. Okay, perfect. Um, guys. Uh, actually, yeah. Um, okay.

First, should we... Okay. 'Cause the whole thing is like the contract. So if we get into bed with them, should our contract be like, "Leave us in charge of Esterholt. We'll make sure that it's amenable to you. As long as you don't commit any crimes in Esterholt, you can totally use it as a base of operations for the rest of Tharia. Otherwise, fuck off." You using the phrase "get into bed with them" after you almost flirted with your own father really makes me uncomfortable. Yeah, not cool. Not cool. But... Sorry. Yeah, no matter what I say, it just doesn't work.

Yeah. Um, yeah, that sounds pretty valid. But, um, if we join them, they're probably gonna want us to do stuff. Like, they probably just won't let us sit here and take care of the city. Well, you would very much work for them. Yeah. I'm not sure I like working for people. Yeah, I don't think Merrick would be... I don't think this is what he would be signing up for. Yeah, getting involved with a criminal organization. Yeah. Like, "Hey, I got new friends." Wait, what? Okay, um... Again, if it were dark Spain, it'd be all over that shit. But Silverclaw, fuck 'em.

Hammerhand I might actually be okay with, but I'm not sure about Silverclaw. Hammerhand I'd be like, "Eh, you're cool." Um, okay, okay. Fuck, guys, get ready. Get ready for some shit. Well, we can still do a contract without joining, can't we? Yeah. Yeah, we'll see if we can make a contract with them. Oh, man, oh, man. It'd be harder, but... We'll see what we can do. We're gonna fight these fuckers, aren't we? Yeah, it's just... Okay, here we go. Um, look. You have straight up told me that you violated your contract with Maer Kellar in order to take what you wanted from Master Hold.

And now you're saying that it is 100% your obligation to fulfill your contract with Marish. Um, he's gonna... There's a look at Chronic Crossface like, "Your point, yeah?" Look, that seems, I'm not gonna lie, a bit hypocritical. And, to be honest, it's a bit of a turn-off when considering buddying up with your organization. Um, do me a favor, roll a diplomacy check. 26, they're getting better. Yep, slowly but surely. Crawling out of the muddy hole of the diplomacy that I was having earlier. Um, Seraph is gonna stand up. Firstly, I want to reassure you that that was a one-time thing.

An incredibly rare set of circumstances where we would just be foolish if we didn't take advantage of this. And if that doesn't reassure you, allow me to sweeten the pot. Um, and he's gonna raise his hand, and through the window from the outside, a crossbow bolt is going to be fired inward. Fuck. Um, and it's just going to kind of nail the coffee table right in front of you. Okay. Kind of knocking over some of the tea. No, not my tea. That's not sweetened, that's, uh... Um... Watch out for the wolf. Do me a favor, Merrick, roll an endurance check. Oh my god, I'm sorry.

Seriously, it was so chill, he was drinking tea! Um, the stress of the situation is starting to get... Nobody, nobody speak loudly, he'll fucking roll an endurance check. Hold on, hold on, hold on. Seems like a low DC. It's, it's not a huge difficulty check, it's just, it is a thing. I'll even tell you what the difficulty check is right now. Would that make you feel better about the situation? Yeah. Um, it's a 20. As long as he has a 14 endurance. As long as he doesn't shit the bed in the roll, everything is going to be fine. Or critmas and kill everyone that I love or care about.

Dip, Polunus not in the room. That's true, okay. Fair. It's true, almost dip. Okay, here comes the endurance. 22. Okay, okay. So, although Merrick is a bit shaken, um, he's gonna kind of get his composure and just kind of like calm down and, and get a hold of himself and he's okay. Yep. Can he at this point, sort of knowing that the situation just kind of like, "meh," can he maybe get up and go to the kitchen like he's refreshing something or trying to bring in some other snacks or something like that, kind of remove himself from the situation. Sure. He'll be coming back, he's just taking a breather, that's all.

Right, just kind of, yeah, just kind of letting that subside a little bit. Yep. Sure, cool. Um, so what is happening here is they're, they're very much, they're very much trying to strong arm you. Yeah, I get that. Um, and Sarah's gonna speak up, "You don't really have many bargaining chips to play in this situation. We will kill the Dragonborn, and if you keep pushing the subject, we will kill you as well. Like I said, I would hate to have to have you against us, and I would really, really hate to slit your throat today." Okay, um, I'm gonna pick up the teacup off the floor.

Mm-hmm. Uh, pour some, pour some tea, plop a couple sugar cubes in, and then yank the cross bubble out of the table and stir the teacup with it. Fucking hell. God damn. Um, and just take like a long sip, just like *slurping noises*. Oh, do the pinky, do the pinky. Yep, the pinky is up. Gotta be fancy. Okay, all joking aside, that's kind of badass. I'm gonna, props for that, I'm gonna give you a plus one on your next roll for that. Awesome. I like, I like descriptive, and I like outside the box thinking, so yes. Okay, um, just, just you wait, I've got, I've got a one-liner.

Um, uh, just gonna take a long sip, go, "Not sweet enough," and reach for another sugar cube and plop it in. Um, and then say, "Look, sit on down, that's not very civilized. Now which religion exactly is Marish involved in?" Um, roll a diplomacy check for me, please. Ugh, Crit Miss! How did I Crit Miss after doing that? Well, it's an 18. Yeah, that's still, that's still decent. It's decent, yeah, it's not, it's not enough to get, oh, it's, okay, we'll, we'll, okay. Can I, can I also roll a personal religion check to see if I can figure out, like, based on honor and...

Well, he, he, just, hold on. Okay, okay. It would appear as though Marash has spent too much time in this city. He's developed somewhat of an affinity for Chord. I grow tired of this. Um, and he's going to raise his hand, and every one of the people in this room are going to, uh, unsheathe their weapons. Do me a favor and murder everyone in this room, please. And he is going to start to turn towards the door. Uh, can I, can we stop him with a really, really good diplomacy or something? I, I, look. Just shout out Papa. Papa, no! I'm honestly concerned, like, maybe...

Sonny, don't leave me again. Well, Una wouldn't. I mean, like, well, okay. Okay. Here's the thing. Without a paternity test, or some sort of, like, some sort of DNA check or something, which... I think I could handle that. Blood magic. You might be able to at some point, but that's a really tough pitch. Um, and the guy's got a job to do and doesn't even know you, really. Um, I will give you one last chance for diplomacy, and if you want people in the room to assist you, go ahead. Okay, guys. I'd also like Marek to not be out of the room anymore. He's on his way back in.

What's possible? What the fuck should we do? And you bump into him on the way out so he can't leave. Yeah, we don't even need to roll. Guys, guys, what should we do? Should we, like... Should I pull the, like, "Hey, okay, you might be my dad, so shut the fuck up." What should we do? I feel like at this point, the only thing that we could say to get us out of this fight would be that we would join them. We could lie. Or buy time. Like, "Alright, fine, give us 'til the end of the day," or something like that to make it at least... Ah, just let us be able to think without getting murdered in the process.

Um, okay, yeah. Um, so something like, like, you know, it's fucking impossible to think at crossmobile, so, uh, if this is how you conduct your fitness, y'all are fucking terrible. No! No, no, no, no. Diplomacy! No, I, I, yeah. Diplomacy. I'll, I'll, diplomacy. Okay. Uh, yes, I would like assistance from everyone. Okay. Thallus will assist. Uh, no, except Thallus. No, let him assist. If he fails, he's not gonna fuck it up. He tries to bow, he gores someone, like... I'm so sorry. This is awkward. Oh, God. Okay, Thallus rolled a two. I rolled a five. So Thallus and Janna see a high five.

That's cool. Yeah! Helping! They get up and are super uncomfortable. I just imagine, like, the demon peed on the floor or something, and they're distracted. So you're breaking even. It's a flat d20. Oh, Merrick, yeah, it's a flat d20. Oh, sorry. So, he assisted, though. He's helping, right? He's helping. Yep. Cool. Yeah, there you go. It's not that I'm helping. So, you're gonna get a negative one to your roll. Awesome. Wait. It's a negative one for each failure and a plus two each time it succeeds. Got it. So, yeah, okay. Cancel each other out. Okay. Beautiful. Okay, so...

Take a deep breath. Okay. I'm just gonna say... Oh, God. Okay, I have to think of something that's not too sassy. It's pretty diplomatic. Just be simple and sweet and be like, "Give us three days," or something like that. Yes. So that's probably the best Una could do without being sassy. Yeah. Mention again that we haven't had breakfast completely. Like, let us at least get our day started or something. Yeah. Okay. Una's just gonna stand up very slowly and elegantly and put down the teacup and just say, "You know, you really could give us some time to think about this.

We're extremely valuable people. Murdering us is probably not the best idea. Giving us time to think? Excellent idea. Then we'll give you marish and things will be sorted out." Roll a diplomacy check. Okay, guys. Get ready to fucking kill people. Okay, God, please. Yes! Holy fuck, yes. That's a 34. God damn. Diplomacy, when I need you, you hit me. God. Oh, Jesus. Okay. Seraph is going to think it over. Your mom was a pretty good lay. Hell yeah, she was. And he's going to stand up and kind of cross the gap between himself and Una. And he's going to raise his hand and kind of place it on Una's cheek just for a second.

Gross. What? That was in character. Yeah, okay. Just kidding. What? Stop. Okay, sorry. "You have till sunset to think it over. We are going to be watching you. If you try to flee, we will not hesitate in murdering you. There will be no more diplomacy. There will be no more talk. We expect an answer by nightfall. We'll be outside." And he is going to take his hand away, turn and start walking towards the door and motion for his cohorts to follow him. I would say that that's a pretty good time for us to stop for tonight. But I want to not. But breakfast. Nothing happened.

But we wanted to talk to him. What? Nothing happened. What about breakfast simulators? He found the gold. That's true. He found gold. This is one of those episodes where it appears as though nothing got accomplished and then you kind of pan back and it's like, oh no wait, stuff happened. It's just more revelations type of things. I heard a lot of people saying they didn't want to stop though. Is that a consensus? I can go wrong. I'm asking Kat specifically. Say it's only 2.30 here. So yes, we can. Let me check the recording. That's about three hours we've done.

Plus like two hours of editing out shit. There was a lot of that. There was a lot. We can go a little further if you want. Yeah. Yes. Okay. Well then I guess my question would be after Serif and his men and ladies walk out the door, what would be the plan? What would you guys like to do? You have until sunset so that is, it's very early in the morning so you've got about 12 hours or so to kind of figure out what the hell you're going to do. Okay guys, I'm just going to throw this out of character. Yeah, either way, my suggestion right now, it kind of sucks.

We should just cut off Marish's head and throw it at them. I'm okay with that. I mean, she's really into cores. There are 60 of them outside at least. But isn't the whole thing that they want to torture him and then kill him? They want to do that. So it would be better for us if we get the information that we need to and then like, I mean what? The follower of Kord thing doesn't really hold up because he totally stabbed that dude as a surprise. That wasn't very Kord like. That wasn't very much of a surprise. He was talking to him in the face while you did it.

He was standing right there with him. Yeah. But he didn't let the other guy draw his weapon. Can I give you a breakdown really quick? Yeah, sure. Just to clarify. Please. There's so much fucking happening right now. Right. I'm getting my head around it. Okay. Marish isn't a great guy. He's just kind of getting his head around the whole religion thing. Like he's living in Esterhole, you're going to hear a lot about Kord and there are elements of that that really appealed to him. And Dragonborn are highly honorable creatures to begin with and you got to make a living but at the same time he's pretty much of the mindset that it is bullshit that one criminal element is moving in to take the place of another one when this could be a decent city.

So he kind of took it upon himself to work with Silverclaw but at the same time kind of move to his own benefit. Like he was trying to actually legitimately clean things up. He's just going about it in a really shitty way. So he may be a little confused about elements of Kord and what that entails. Like he's not exactly going to the church every day to kind of suss it all out. He's just like, "I like that. I like that. Alright. Brutal violence. Alright, let's do that." And that's kind of... So he's not really the worst person. I do kind of respect that. And them being like, "He got a little too attached to the Temple of Kord." It's like, "Do you not realize I have Fist of Kord tattooed on myself?" Oh yeah, he didn't care.

He didn't care. It's just like, I don't know, they seem very Uncordian. And that's when his motivation kind of, you know. Sounded like a Kordian. I agree, I just don't want to fight them. Yeah, I don't really want to kill my dad. I don't think... He's going to call Darth Vader in this shit. By the way, if we do get into a fight, Una, don't wipe your blade off. Just saying. We could figure this shit out. You mean don't wash my hammer? Yeah, whatever. Everyone, just don't wash your weapons. We're going to figure this out. It's not going to be another Thoril situation where we never get to figure it out.

I'm doing this. This is important. God, I just realized we'll probably never know. Nope. I mean, I will, but I mean... I hate you, Jason. Fucking asshole. I love you guys. It's okay, Jason, because I remember you told me who it is. No, I didn't. Yeah, you did. No, I didn't. Yeah, you did. No, I did not. I don't believe I did. I've told you a lot. I'm 100% positive you told me who it is. Well, I'm slightly less positive that I didn't tell you, but I'm pretty sure that I didn't. Fuck our Skype calls. Thank you. Yeah, do that, please. Yeah, take that to your grave. Okay, so we have a dude who's bad but not bad in our cellar.

A group of bad but not entirely bad people outside who want to kill him. One of them might be a father. You have a mayor who kind of wants to do good, but will go through awful channels to do it. She sold the city. What a bitch. Yeah, she's fucking sold her city out. Guys, this is fucking Overwatch all over again. Or Overdale. Yeah, okay, so. We have to not do the group one thing. We have to do this perfectly. We have to actually take care of it. We actually have to take care of it and defend the interests of the common people and without causing too much bloodshed or going through super illegal channels.

Okay. We have been deputized. We have. And they are criminals, so we could kill them and be like, "We're just fucking doing our job." Okay, they're probably minions. There are 60 of them. Yeah. That's true. At least. That was two sides. Wait, wait, wait. Jason. What if we prepare? Like, we free Marish. We let him fight with us. We prepare. We make like Molotov fucking cocktails and we just fucking siege them or I guess anti-siege them. I still think this diplomacy thing could work though. Yeah. He said, "No more talking." Wait. Okay. There was no mention of, "You can't leave the house." Right?

He just said, "Don't try to flee." Leaving is fleeing. I think we're kind of stuck in the house for the day. I do like the plan of, "We'll join you if we can control the city." If we could get in there as well, if we could attend the, like if we could try to make a case for Marish. Which by the way, we should talk to this dude first to make sure that it's all going the way we think. But like if we could be like, "Okay, we want Marish to have a fair trial or some shit and we can be there to argue his case." A fair trial through Silverclaw? Yeah, that's a good point.

Surely a fair trial through them is, "Let's stab him. If he dies, he's guilty. If he doesn't die, let's stab him some more." It's a witch trial. Yeah. If he doesn't die, we haven't stabbed him enough. Yeah. He needs more trial. I just don't want to piss off an entire group from Brightport. Yeah. Because there's more than 60 in fact. There's... Like is this one dude worth it? Yeah, that's kind of what I'm at. Like yeah, okay, he worships Kord kind of. Well, I'm not... He only goes to church on Easter. Like let's not... No, I mean we shouldn't do this for him, but we should do it for the city and to be not group one.

Right. But what would be best for the city? Trying to fight these guys and then having their entire house come down on us? Or just kind of giving them what they want and have a little give and take? So if we talk to them, we say, "Okay, we'll join you. You give us control of the city. We make sure it's a port for you. You can't criminalize it. You know, like you can't fucking extort everybody and be assholes, but we'll make this like a base of operations for you." What if they say no? Then we kill them. I'm super happy with that. That's fine. We can prepare for either or.

Like we can still do the Molotov cocktail thing. Jason, could we do that sort of thing? Like run around the top stories of the house, like throwing fucking, you know, makeshift bombs and shit at these people? Well, hold on. That's... That sounds kind of group one. Yeah, but only after trying to group three the situation. Here's the thing. At this point, the corner you guys are in, I would say that you can either, if things go tits up and you would like to straight up fight them, I would let you do it in one of two ways. You can either just take on the waves of them and hope for the best, or we can have a skill check challenge type of thing where they try and siege the house and you try and keep them out.

I like the second one. And then if they siege the house, we keep them out. And then like, let's say we fucking suck and they get in. Then we fight? Yeah. Could Arcana be involved at any point in these skill checks? We don't know. Okay. We have a lot of fucking weird shit we can pour on them. Like how fucking scared would you be? You're trying to climb the side of a house and someone dumps like eyeballs out a window? Just a bunch of horses that all look the same. The fuck? Wait, isn't that amazing? Guys, take out the guards. Why are their mage dead? Why are there 13 of them?

Just take one of the corpses that looks like Jensa and throw it out a window and say, and just act like we're nuts. Like we're killing our own. Crazy. If you didn't say that you buried the body earlier, I would allow that. Well, let's go find another one. They're fucking everywhere. Exactly. I'll go to the kitchen and grab one. Just like looking hide and seek in the house for Jesse and looking at the corpses. This is so fucking dark. I'm lying on my back and I'm taking my legs near. That's how cool this is. Okay. So wait, wait, wait. So Jason, you said the corner that we're painted in is we've got this fight that we can either do waves of these people.

We can do a seastake. I mean, there's a diplomatic way out of it. That's what I'm trying to do. This, none of this feels okay to me. And I don't mean it just like that. Nothing's right. I mean, I want them to go away. I want, I don't know. I just want them. I just want them to leave. I don't want to have, I don't want Merrick to have to make the decision that will fine I'll work for this. I don't even know what's going on here. And I've got new friends. Oh, they don't. That's the, if you hand over Maris, they'll walk away. That's what I'm saying. That's but they'll still be involved in the city.

Yeah, that's not going anywhere. Yeah, they're not going anywhere, but it buys us. I'm not saying, I'm not arguing for this. I'm just saying this is what he's uncomfortable with. I would imagine like just get them out of here and let us at least have some time to breathe and think about what in the world we're going to do. If that's, if that's a fight we're going to have, well, I'd rather have it when we can prepare for it and maybe think of a cool thing or maybe, you know, talk to Cecil. I don't know something else. But at the same time, I don't think that Merrick just wants to just go kill a dude.

Yeah, well, he'll be alive. You'll just be handing him over to certain death. I think it will be satisfying him to be like, dude, like as a fellow accordion, you are going to your God. There you go. Bam, you're dead. Okay. So can we just do, go around the table real quick? Yay or nay for handing over Marash character wise. Yay. I know the murderer. Okay. I'd like to, I'd like to like, diplomacy with them and be like, Hey, we'll hand him over. You give us control of the city. All that, you know, our basic, our demands basically. If they say no, then be like, okay, fuck you.

And then kill them. And you know, we use Marash on our side. Without telling him that we were going to do the other thing first. He would understand. Okay. So, or just don't tell him, you know, that too. No one's going to give a shit. Or, or we could go shove him into the new basement that Fi found and, uh, we could tell them that he was never here. Can you imagine the bluff check on that? Like we've been acting like you've been here this whole time. Guys, he escaped. Yeah. Oh no. I don't think even he could pass that school. Yeah. I'm trying to find, uh, where's these bluff?

Plus 16. Yeah. That's a good bluff, but, uh, it's a solid bluff. Okay. So all right. Around the table. Right. Jadzia send him off. Okay. So that's a yay. Una. Uh, yeah. Nay. If it's all weak, if it's, if it's, if it's what we can, if we can avoid it, then nay, nay to killing him. Kalluna. Uh, yay. Uh, Merrick. Uh, I think Merrick, Merrick doesn't see any way out of this and I don't think he thinks the answer is to kill him. So I say nay. Uh, that's nay to handing him over. So okay. That's two and two. Kat. Uh, yay for handing him over. All right. The yays have it. Yes. Okay.

But should we, should we just, should we just give, give him there or give them in his head as a gesture of good faith and then give our demands? Nay. No, we, we should hand him over live. Like the head thing, I forgot that they wanted to torture him first. Right. So, but like hand him over live as a gesture of good faith and then ask for demands or ask for demands and say we'll hand him over. And then if they say yes, then give him. I actually had a thought, which is we could write up our demands and then I could send out a Shaolin to deliver. I dig that.

If they say no instantaneously to our demands, then I see no reason to kill him or hand him over, you know? I agree with that. Like I'm not saying let's just kill him and see what happens. I'm saying if it'll get us out of this, let's kill him. Sure. Yeah. Okay. So, um, whoever writes the letter, we'll write it a letter. Who has the best penmanship? Okay. Um, dear scary silver claw people. Good opening. Solid. So, uh, Saris, that's his name, right? Sarif. He's gone. He stands there. I'm sorry. That's a solid wordplay. I can't even. It's solid wordplay. Okay. Appreciate that.

You know what? You're getting a plus one to your next role just because that was solid wordplay. Have I ever told you guys how much I love puns? All the ladies of DNR seem to love puns. I don't know why, but with the affinity for them is, but okay. So Saris, um, we will agree to hand Marash over. You agree or, and join silver claw. Wait, are we joining silver claw? Well, if we ask for control of the city, then yeah, we are. Right. Merrick does not want to join the silver claw. Okay. So we're just asking for help for you. Yeah. Okay. Perfect. That's fine too. Okay.

Here's your dragons. That's what you tell Merrick it says. Okay. It'll be okay with that. Saris, we will give you Marash. If house silver claw agrees to a, to make a contract with, we need a name. Go house, house grace. Una and the babes. Can I make a suggestion? Yes, please. Um, you guys aren't technically part, I mean, you, you're kind of part of the Ravens and this was something that Brie was going to suggest at one point, but shield of grace. Sure. Kind of a nod to Patrick. That's what I was thinking is I was like, oh, it's named after her daddy. Yes. I'm just typing up exactly what we said for some reason.

Like we say it out loud, but that's what it says. We will agree to hand you Marash if house silver claw is willing to draw up a contract with the shield of grace. So go sweet. Should we specify what to do? Like a little aduate, do whatever you want. We'll rewrite it later. Right now it's in pen. I'd say we should say, um, we like, we will, I was going to put us in low parentheses, but didn't seem professional. Okay. So is he, you were saying, so we should, we should talk about our terms. You should say like, we will, um, remain in Esther Holt. Um, sorry, I should mute while you talk so that you, we don't have to edit out my typing over your talking.

That'd be very hard. Um, so like we will remain in Esther Holt as a mediary force. Um, and I don't know, um, what'd you say? Like not control the city, but, uh, what you're essentially asking them to do is you, you stay, they leave, but you were their eyes in Esther Holt. Yeah, but like we will support your operations, um, in Esther Holt, uh, so long as they do not, you know, criminalize the city, you know, like we don't want them like extorting, you know, people here, um, and stuff. So let's see, we will support your operations in Esther Holt, um, um, as a base of operations for the rest of the area.

Um, but we will remain our own entity. What else? That really sounds like you're trying to have your cake and eat it too. Yeah, kind of. Like, we're going to remain our own shit, but like, yeah, we will, like, we'll help you out. Essentially, here's what you're saying. We're going to remain our own thing, but we are going to join you, but we're going to be our own thing and we're going to control the city, but for you and you're going to get, it does kind of just sound like doublespeak. Okay, so right now I have the terms of the contract are as follows.

We the shield of grace shall remain in Esther Holt as a primary diplomatic force. All legal silver house activity will be backed by the shield of grace, which grants you the power of the followers accord and the town government because we have been whatever that word is, we get a little deputized. So as long as what they're doing is legal, we will back them. Does that still sound like doublespeak or does that sound like regular speak? Sounds really fucking good. That actually sounds more like regular speak. Yeah. Bam! Okay. I think that's good. I don't think we need anything else.

All right, so Seraph, we will agree to hand you Muresh if House Silverclaw is willing to drop a contract with the shield of grace, the terms of the contract, blah, blah, blah. And I will give that to Sheldon and Sheldon will go. Go, go. Okay, so. Double check, you won't be too far away from me that I won't control him, right? I gave him a specific command. He has to come back. You did. Okay, so Jassy is going to... Do I have to Arcana check to make sure I know? Because it would be really bad if you went there and started humping into his face. That's true.

Do me a favor and roll an Arcana check. 27. Okay, 27. This is a bit of a stretch. Okay, nevermind, we'll tie it to a fucking rock, who cares? You know what, Merrick will just take it out. Merrick will take it out? That's a bad idea. Merrick the werewolf is going to take out our diplomacy sheet. No, he's just taking it out. He's not going to be doing the talking. He's not talking about it. He's just a representative like, you know, hey, I was the guy, you know, making tea. How about he takes it out? How about you guys both take it out carrying one side of it each?

We'll put it on a pillow and you can walk it out. It's regal as fuck. Actually, let's just fold it up into a really sweet ass airplane. Let's just tie it up onto a dead body and just tip the dead body over the side. VT dubs were fucking nuts. How far away are they standing from the house? They're giving you, they've pretty much backed off. Like they're kind of, it's one of those things where you look out and they're not like on your front lawn. They're kind of spread out there. Some of them are on rooftops. Some of them are in the street, some of them, but they're all, they're still very much surrounding the house and they're very much watching you.

Are they within 10 squares? No. Okay. Very much. How, yeah. Okay. Someone could put on an arrow and just shoot it. No, they'll accidentally shoot someone for sure. I'm just thinking diplomatically, you know, we're not, I mean, we're scared of them, you know, internally, but we're not in the middle of like some battle where we may just, something might go wrong. We're really just saying, okay, cool, listen. Yeah. We, we thought about it like we talked about and here's a, here's what we think. It's not, it's not a throw them a rock or an arrow type thing. It's just, you know, here's your stuff.

I'm gonna put my armor by the way. That's probably an idea. All right. So Fi or Merrick are going out or both? Fi, go ahead. I'll take it out, yeah. All right. Okay. So I will, I'll take it out and when, when I get to a point of 10 squares from Sarif, I will, I'll call over to him and hold it, hold it up so that he can see that I've got something and I'll say catch and I'll use object projection, which will teleport it up to 10 squares to a willing creature. Okay. And it'll just kind of appear like right in front of him in his hand. And he's gonna, he's gonna kind of give you, go ahead and roll perception for me. 23.

Fi's gonna pick up a look that kind of comes across Sarif's face like, oh, I like you. We could do some, we could do some useful things with you. And he doesn't even know about the fucking shapeshifting thing. Like they could use you so much in Silverclaw. Will that help? On the record, one of us could join. Oh yeah, one of you could join and make a killing, literally. Fi wants to work with them. If Fi can be a member of Silverclaw and still work in our group, right? Fi, you figure that out later. Depends. They're, they're, they're, I mean, it depends. Double agent.

Um, uh, Sarif is going to kind of take the note off of, you know, just kind of take the note and unfurl it and read it. And he is going to start to march toward Fi. And two of his associates are going to kind of like keep like five feet back, but they're going to follow him. I can't remember the last time I have had such trouble with a simple pickup. Your group seems to have a lot of demands. Uh, yeah, he, he says we may be trouble. We have survived a lot. I'm sure that that trouble that we are would be, uh, you, you could put to better use than us, than us being trouble towards you.

You can understand my trepidation of just handing over everything in Esterhold to you and trusting you at your word. Understand we don't know you and our interactions thus far have not been pleasant. We also do not know you and I'm sure you know that your, your reputation, your, your reputation precedes you. Um, do me a favor, roll diplomacy check. Anyone. Do you get a plus for, for doing that cool thing with the letter? No, not, not, not that time. Um, this is more like he would want him to join, but it's, it's kind of, uh, it's more like you are a lot of trouble.

Like are you worth it? That kind of thing. Um, V shape shift. Honestly, that's not a bad idea. Yeah. I, I will do that. Okay. Do me a favor, roll a bluff check. Bluff. Okay. 19. That's good. Not bad. Um, the nose isn't quite right. Whatever. Uh, did you want me to say what I say? Yeah. Um, he's going to turn into him and say, you know, we are worth it. And then wink and offer to suck his dick. Are you as in love with yourself as I am? It's so group three. I've seen it. I can do that. Um, if I have to take one over the other, that's fine. I just, uh, tired of getting emails about the one.

Um, from now on we suck dicks. That's always. Are you ready for this? Um, uh, Sarah is just going to like, Oh, okay. That's fucking that's super useful. What if I offered a counter proposal? I would stay in the area for a month's time just to keep an eye on the operation. I'm not exactly prepared to just hand things over, but I can let you run things your way for now. You officially join how silver claw your entire team. When we step in and issue orders, you will follow them. And most importantly, you hand over morash right now. Does that seem agreeable? I see no issue with that.

However, I know my teammates and I, I highly doubt that they will just follow. Um, Sarah is going to place a hand on a fee shoulder, then that would be your job to convince them. This is our final offer. Trust me as useful as we think you could be. There is a limit to our patients and he's going to take his hand away. He will not and say, fine, we will take your two or skip the convincing thing. Whatever. Uh, that's going to be awkward. Okay. Yep. I'm cool. So he's accepting the deal on the group's behalf, correct? Yes. Oh, yeah. Love you. Oh no. That's going to be so cool.

I don't even agree with the decision. I'm just like, yes. It's like when you, it's like when Merrick became a werewolf. I'm like, this is awful and I love it. This is going to be so juicy later. New wrinkles! Um, Sarah is going to look super pleased. How about we start our new friendship off by you taking me to see our mutual friend. Um, and he is going to motion for all of his boys and girls. Um, in the immediate area, that is 15. We're going to lure them into the house and start stabbing them, right? No, stop! Down on it, down! How about we bring him out to you and you can take, you can take him and you can do whatever you wish to him.

Very well. We'll escort you to your front door and we'll wait there. That sounds reasonable. Um, the entire time, roll a Perceptus check for me please. 20. Um, he's kind of giving you a look like, alright, I'm trusting you here, but like he has had enough. Like you can tell it's like we've, we've, we've had enough of this back and forth. Like let's do this. Let's, let's get it going. So he is going to follow Fi to the front door and uh, they're, they're going to wait patiently. Cool. Uh, yeah, yeah. Fi, Fi will, Fi will go and get the, uh, the prisoner. Um, he'll make sure that his, uh, okay, one moment.

That means Fi is going to walk past the group down into the, down into the basement and start unchaining Marash. Yeah, yeah. At least from the wall. Yeah. Um, on the way past, um, I will say, um, they have accepted our terms. Um, they, they, they're now gonna, um, I'm, I'm now giving them what it is they want. You sneaky fucker. Um, okay, I hate to do this. Let me, let me, let me, this, this, this out of, out of game for a moment. The whole lie bio mission thing is dead. A lie bio mission is a lie and it's not any, I'm, I'm really sorry because there was some, okay.

I think we can all agree that that went too far at one point. Right. Okay. And I feel shitty because a president was set and we followed it for a long time and now I'm taking that opportunity away from you. I just, yeah. I'm gonna leave this in the show too. It's like a tax break that, that everyone gets and then one person abuses the fuck out of and the government has to remove it because now it can be abused. It's fine. We understand. Yeah. I mean, I wasn't, I wasn't expecting to not have to roll bluff. You know, I mean I have a high bluff because this is the kind of shit.

That's your shtick. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Right. Una intimidates, Jadzi is bookish. This is your shtick. So all you gotta do is beat everyone's passive perception or insight, insight, sorry. Does that beat everyone's passive insight? One second. Where's insight? At the very top of your thing, beneath your class. Oh yeah, you get the fuck out of mine. Yeah, beats mine by two. Maric is 26. Yeah, I'm at 26. So it always goes in the rollers favor, right? Okay, try them. Yeah. Plus, oh yeah, passive insight 26, sorry. So as far as, as far as everyone knows, as far as everyone knows, that's, that's on the level.

So if Fi just negotiated everything, it's going to be fine, they're going to leave after they get what they want. You guys will be members of Silverclaw, but to the party, it's just going to be them leaving you in charge. Now Fi knows that it will appear as though they'll leave, but Seraph is going to stick around in the city to keep an eye on you, not necessarily overtly. So to the party, this will appear to be on the up and up, like everything Fi said just now is true. Fuck yeah. I want to go with Fi to, to free Maric or Marish because I, I want to tell him something from one accordion to another.

From one accordion to the other. Get a little dancing monkey. Can we give Sheldon some cymbals? For maximum annoyance. Street performer Jatzia. Um, all right. So Fi, Marish, Una are going to walk out and, uh, okay. So Marish is still very much, uh, kind of bound, chained up, not as much as he was before. His mouth, uh, unless you otherwise chained it back up is open. Yeah, Fi would have chained up his mouth. Okay. All right. Um, then, uh, Seraph is going to be standing right outside your front door. Again, riddled with crossbow bolts. Your windows have been smashed.

They're, they're still very much standing there waiting. And, uh, when you open the door, um, he is going to motion for his people to grab Marish and start tracking. Like just like, unless you stop them. Way before they do that, I'd like to say something to Marish. Um, so you just kind of give them the hold up one second, one second. Okay. Um, go ahead. I'm going to say, they're going to kill you, but you're going to our God. Tell Kord I'll be there soon. And then I'll just let him be dragged away. Um, roll a perception check for me, please. 28. A look kind of crosses Marish's face and you're recognizing it as mostly confusion.

And it would be more that he would expect if, if you were truly someone who follows Kord, you would expect, he would expect you to defend him and what he was trying to do. So it's more like, I don't, I don't get it. I don't, I don't even, I don't even understand. Um, and they, uh, the silver claw members are going to reach forward and grab Marish and start to drag him away. They're going to drag him back to the larger pack of silver claw members. Um, and they're going to just kind of like pick him up and start walking away with him. Um, Sarah is still very much standing at your front door.

Um, and he is going to extend his hand out to a fee. See, he will shake it. Um, and, um, he's going to kind of get, kind of give this very slight bow when he does welcome aboard. Uh, and he is going to, uh, he's going to look over at Una. I'm sure we'll be speaking soon enough. In the meantime, I'll leave you to your business. And he is going to kind of turn around and start walking away unless anyone has anything else to say. I'm not going to insight check that because I am too distracted by guilt. Okay. I completely ignored anything he said to fee. I think that's a pretty good time for us to stop for the evening.

That is a much better place to stop. Okay. Yeah. Oh, that was beautiful Kat. That was gorgeous. That was the best possible solution. It worked out so well. I don't want to have to deal with the rest of the party, but you know. Just don't ever tell us. Hey guys, you know what I suddenly feel like doing? Every single time they tell you to do something, it's like, guys, did you know about this thing you can do? And you just lie to us. Yeah. Well, the only thing that like, that's like, you guys knew you were pretty much joining Silverclaw. You pretty much knew it.

That's in the contract. It's right there. Like you're, you're, you're you, but you're kind of partnering up with them. So that can be interpreted two ways. Not that you're necessarily actually in Silverclaw, but that like you guys have formed a partnership. So that part could be taken two ways. The only thing that's a fucking boldface lie is that they're just going to leave town and leave it all to you. Right. That is fucking gorgeous because I want to be involved with houses. I didn't want that to go away. I'm glad of that whole solution. Is it just Seraph and like a handful of men or is it like everyone that Seraph has brought to?

The way he worded it would just be him and a few guys. Not the like 60 or 80 or whatever that were standing out front of your house. Like, yeah. Thank God we got out. That was tricky guys. Hats off to you. Give yourself a round of applause there. Cause that was fucking sticky. Yeah, we did it. Hey guys, we did it without causing too much shit. We kind of gripped read that one. We did. Did you see the doubters on the fan page? Yeah. We're in over our heads. Fuck you. Get out. Specifically said Una. Cause he's a cunt. Honestly, except for Marish, I think the only casualties other than the windows and the door was a tea cup.

No, I didn't even break dude. That's why I didn't hit the table. So the coffee table. Yeah. Oh, that's the second coffee table too. No. That is the second coffee table. What's going to happen next to this thing? Guys, I'm so glad you left Kaluna in the basement. Things could have gone so bad. That's yeah. We should, we should put the coffee tables in the, uh, in the NPC graveyard. Well, I wanted to point out on the website, shouldn't Njark technically be dead? Like shouldn't he be an NPC that's dead as well as the same picture of Ironhide? That could be fun actually.

Sure. We could do that. We got to add him. Just for that gag. Like his bio would just be tremendous piece of shit. Beat his own grandmother to death with a coffee table leg. Later strangled on a coffee table. So I love it. Oh man. Do we, God, I have so many things going on in my head right now about all this stuff. I liked that it's like, that was the best possible solution, but none of it was clean. Like none of it was completely clean, but not too fucking dirty either. Right? It's not one of those things where you walk away. It's like, well, I'm just disenfranchised, but it just feels gross, but deadly.

I guess. Only meta. Do I not have a problem with it? Because Jensia is going to be annoyed because if she could choose a house, she'd want to have Darkwad out of Darkstain. Outside of the game. I know that house doesn't exist anymore. So I'm like, whatever. Nothing really matters. There's a fucking dragon coming. Who cares? Yeah. It's going to be, it's going to be good. Like this is, this is, this is the perfect solution. Cause like, it's not, it's not like group two where it's like, fuck it, join the house, take it over. Like, you know, it's, it's, and it's not, it's not group one where it's like kill everyone.

You know, it's, it's a good, it's, it's the best possible solution. Yeah. I'll give you that. Best of both. And I still don't know if anybody ate any of Merrick's hash brown casserole. Okay. Kaluna absolutely would once she comes out the basement. She's so hungry. I feel like Kaluna got minimized in this episode. Like I feel bad. Like she just kind of. If she hadn't everything would have gone horribly wrong because she would have interpreted everything as a threat towards Merrick. Okay. And there would have been those three useful solutions. That's partly why he didn't want her to be around.

Cause he knew, he sees that he saw the change and he's like, just stick around down here. But I'm sorry that in terms of game that meant that Kaluna was minimized. We still need to have the sit down. Jodzi has said, and I need it, all four of us need to sit at a table because Merrick and Jodzi I need to talk. And Valis and Kaluna. I keep wanting to get rid of the N in your name. It's weird. Isn't that like Kaluna? Yeah. It's Kaluna. Delicious. I don't know. I don't drink. But they need to talk. So everyone needs to talk. So that's going to have to happen next episode because it was supposed to happen this episode.

And then we're going to go on a camping trip. Yeah. Sit around the fire. Have you guys ever been fishing? I find it stupid. We can camp out in the hedge maze. Oh, the hedge maze. It's true. Like a slumber party. Yeah. Like a tent. For some reason I imagine there's a creature in the hedge maze. Actually, that's true. I haven't thought about this. The hedge maze actually a hedge maze or is it just like a, you know, a Rose Bushy type area? Oh no, it's a hedge maze. Yeah. It's a, yeah. It's, it's, that's, that's one of the most frightening things ever because it's like you run out the back door and basically run smack dab into a hedge maze.

And you got to imagine some of those females, their last terrifying moments on this plane were running from Darmok as he was chasing them down to slay them. So here's an important question. Can Kaluna ask the bushes the right way to go so she can get out of the hedge maze? I would say yes, a series of checks would be in order. Some nature stuff. Sure. I feel like we could just go out the front door though. True. Totally another option. I mean, but hedge maze. Hedge maze. This was a good episode. I'm pleased. Yeah. I'm, I'm, you know, those movies that you watch and you're like, Hmm, that's interesting.

And then you're still thinking about it three weeks later. Like what? Like, Hmm, like part of the plot. I'm really there right now. Maybe you guys don't know what I'm talking about. That's. I know what you mean. Yeah. Like you'd need a moment or like those books where like every two pages you have to put it down and be like, Oh God, I got to think about this before. What is happening? What does this mean? No, I think, I think I'm, I've somehow jumped into being in Merrick's brain a little bit and I think I'm reacting like Merrick because I feel like he's so conflicted by all this stuff because what the hell?

So I think I'm reacting. I have that happen all the time. That happened to me this time where I was like, the part where I was like, stop, stop. Like that was just me. I completely just stopped trying to get him to kill us. I think, I think this is my first, I got into Merrick's brain and I can't quite get out of it. I mean, it's fun dude. When that happens and you kind of get lost in it. Oh, it's so fun. But my endurance is not nearly as high as his is. And I'm really concerned about what might happen. That is a problem with being on group three. It's going to be nerve wracking.

We take walks. Yeah. We take walks after we're kind of group. I'm doing that. I swear to you, I'm doing that right after this. Like I, that I didn't, I love going into a session and having basically the premise for what's going to happen and then sitting back, it's like, I have no idea what's going to happen now. Like I pitch it to you guys and instantly just like you start putting this little puzzle together and it's like, okay, okay, cool, cool. So good. The amount of times we had to go, wait, out of character, what the fuck is happening? It kept unraveling towards it like it isn't as clear cut as it seemed to be.

So that was, that's neat that you kind of got to the bottom of it finally. And we didn't kill anyone except for, except for marriage. We didn't kill anyone. You handed him over knowing it was certain death. That's the thing that's what's important. It doesn't count unless it's a notable speaking as Merrick. We just fucking killed that guy. Oh yeah. I feel terrible about that. Especially because he's a follower of court. Like I want to know something about him. No, no. Just make me feel so guilty. So I'll go kill myself. It's fine. No, I do. I want to know marriage was actually legitimately trying to clean up.

Esther Holt. He really like, he was one of those guys who was kind of a thug kind of through cord is getting a new kind of a new lease on like getting a new set of was like, okay, well, wait a second. If maybe there is a way for just like strength and honor to be like the way. And that's like it. And though the way he was cleaning it up was through stabbing. Like he was taking up corrupt members of the city. He was. That's why he threatened. That's why he threatened Cecil. That's why. And he didn't kill Cecil even though he could have. He did end up killing Jonathan because he just he was proving himself so untrustworthy that he would promise anything just to get out of any trouble.

So he killed Jonathan. He killed. And yeah, like he was trying to clean up the city. He was trying to do good. I just threw me off the whole honor thing because court is like I did a lot of research on this because I hate playing an honorable character. And the court's not really into honor. It's like, you know, it's very, but not right. This was confusing up. Yeah, because he he's an honorable creature and he's he's mixing his beliefs with his race. Defiling the religion. Yeah. I really like it. Sorry. No, I just had this. I imagined Craig from the from the temple and a few paladins.

They have like a scared straight program. That's actually adorable. Can we implement that actually? That should be something we implement. I can 100% the temple of court instituting something like that. There's a lot of wrestling involved and something. What about now? What about now? By the way, Jason, something slipped by you that wasn't supposed to. And I have to confess, I took care of it already. When I sent you Jud Zia's new profile, you didn't notice. But under notable kills, I wrote blew up a room full of drought children. And then I followed that with.

But it totally wasn't her fault. I saw it. You did. You let that slip right by. Yeah, I didn't care. It's kind of funny. Good times. Son of a whore. Now it's raining and I can't go walk. God damn it. I want to die. Jeez. I packed. Let's go. Let's go. Those are all totally unrelated things. He was talking about. Cookies are delicious. I want to die. These are all true things. I'm just listing things. Things I feel. Ten days, Jason. Ten days. I know. It's so great. Dude, can you ship some of that fucking rain to California, please? Sure, I'll take some with me. Because we're in the worst drought we've had in 100 years.

I know. Beautiful. Wonderful. Perfect. Yeah, it's awesome. Well, I've got to wake up early. Probably just going to stay up and edit. Don't. I've got to drive tomorrow. Thank you guys for sitting down there. That was a blast. Yeah, it was. Nice job, Kat. When are we going to be able to record another session? Tomorrow, obviously. I got a group two. If I cancel that group two, Jamie will murder me. I'm kidding. I'm going to be moving back to school pretty soon. But we'll be like one weekend where I won't be able to. It might be next weekend. It might be the weekend after that.

I will have to... The 20th and 21st... Well, I'll be gone for a week. I'll be in California for a week. The 20th and 21st I will not be able to do anything. But the weekend after that I can. Especially I should post that in the basement. About 13th and 14th, Izzy, you just said that maybe this weekend. Maybe. I'm really not sure, but maybe. We'll figure something out. We'll see what's up. Yeah, yeah. Cool, cool. You guys have a good night. I'll talk to you later. You too. Bye.
