Hey, I'm Izzy and I will be playing Calith and her raccoon companion, Tiv.

Okay, so last time things got a little heated, a little dark. A little hairy. A little bit. You guys have been tasked with finding the Quel'um Urn'Lurva, which is the Gravy Boat of Pestilence. That's essentially what your quest is. You headed into the Silver Glade, you found this old tomb, this elven tomb, which belonged to the Dragon Soul Clan. And making your way in, the tomb slammed shut behind you, the door to the tomb, trapping you inside. And the very first grouping of enemies that you had to fight were a shitload of fireproof elves. Now, again, it got a little hairy, but you all did very well.

And you, none of, no one died. There was a tiny incident of Shavar trying to flee combat and he kinda left you. He kinda left you in the lurch and that did not go over well with most of the party. For some reason. For some reason. I don't know why. Apparently we can't abandon our friends around here. I don't know if there's really any gray area there either. It was literally black and white. You left us. Things got bad. He literally said, "I'm backing off, guys. I'm done." I'm out of here for a tactical retreat. You did uncover some treasure. So we did go over some of it.

There is one more chest in the room that you have not gone through. My. I'm not Yennor. Somebody else can have it. I like that. That Yennor came right out. My. Pick up the entire chest and like, "Uh, my." Well, anyone can open it and take the stuff out of it. Huh. Well, I mean. I'll end up with it anyway. You guys might actually want to check to see if there's a trap. Right. I can do that. Is it locked? It would appear to be locked. I am the Dungeoneer master. So I will check this out for us. I will step closer. I don't know where the actual thing is. I guess it's right here.

I will Dungeoneer it. Huh! Thirty. Oh, that's a crit. It's a... That is. Shevar is not... Oh, Shevar shit out of that chest. Well, he's checking it for traps and you... Shevar does not appear to see any traps associated with this... with this particular chest. Look at that, guys. All right, I will crack it open. It's locked. I'm going to keep trying to open it. We should just have Nem do a thievery on it. Because she is a really good thievery. The other option is to just hack it open. So Cava is going to snap her fingers and point at the lock for Nem to come over and do this.

Okay. Nem's going to do the thing. You've got echo, Bri. Oh shit, sorry. I got 25. 25 will pop open this chest. Now, this is kind of an elongated chest. It looks a little different than the other ones in the room. Is Nem going to open it? Mmm, yes. Okay. Bats. Thousands of bats. My friend! It's Batman. Except they're all on fire. Now all of your hair is on fire. And they have a thirst for blood. So opening this chest up, it appears to be a weapons chest. Which is housing a single great axe. God dammit. Okay Cava, come on. I can't steal that. It's not like I can put it in my back pocket and walk away.

This is pretty obvious. It appears to be inlaid with silver etching. And this thing, it gleams. It's almost a shame to get blood all over it. It really is. This thing is like a polished silver looking weapon. It is gorgeous. There's kind of a placard inside. Because the thing is kind of set in this velvet casing. Like it is just, this has been made, constructed just for this axe. Arcana check on that shit? I was going to say, I can't do an arcana because I don't have very good arcana. Can I do a history check on it? I've got plus ten arcana. Yeah that's awesome.

History check is fine, arcana check is fine, either one of those. Cava's literally like in awe of this beautiful great axe. So she's just sort of stuck staring at it. So this axe was actually a gift to the elves from the Dragonborn. It was rumored for a long time that the Dragon Soul clan and the Dragonborn had a long standing friendship. And they would actually help each other out in some instances. And the Dragonborn, one of the things that they did was they would gift weapons to them. Like larger weapons, things like hammers and axes and things. And in turn the elves would assist them if they needed it.

Or they would aid them with enchantments, things like that. Things that the Dragonborn weren't good at. So they went back and forth. So in the end what you had was an elven tribe that eventually gained a resistance to fire through magic. And they also became proficient with hammers and axes, big blunt awful weapons that they normally wouldn't use. So it was kind of the best of both worlds. You had these really lithe graceful elves using big fucking weapons and... We know, we know how good they are with hammers. You no believe these hammers. This axe was actually a gift from the Dragonborn Ravik.

This thing is weighted such that any elf can pretty much wield this. The weight at the head of the axe does 90% of the work. As long as you can lift it up it will cleave through, well it will cleave through a lot. This is definitely better than the axe that Kav is currently holding. I'm so excited right now. So okay, if an elf can use it, if elf can pick it up and use it then she could probably kill anything with this thing, right? Yes, pretty much. It's not specifically for elves but it was a gift to the elves. I mean like she should be able to... Like with elves with their little spindly muscles can do it.

She should be really good at it. Yeah, right. Kava's eyes are going to go wide and she's just going to sort of drop her current greataxe on the floor. And pick up this gleaming greataxe. Fucking right. And she's just like holding it, caressing it almost like you would a cat. So okay, can we check out the room? Like I see statues in the corner. Is there any like gems in their eyes or armor or anything like that? What's in the coffins? We know what was in the coffins but what is in there now? The coffins are empty as of now. The elves that were in there kind of punched their way out.

I think we all remember how that happened. Almost like they weren't supposed to get out. The axe's name is Dhul'nor which in elven roughly translates to skull splitter. Oh my god. It's on elven. Nice. Yeah, it is a... That is not an elven weapon per se. That is not something the elves would create. But they would definitely use it. I'm like salivating over here. Here's your situation guys. Let's go home. Good morning angels. Hi Charlie. Leading back out into this hallway past the flame jets which are off now by the way. No more flame jets. Not good at clearing those.

No more flaming skeletons. No more. It was funny though. It's funny now. At the time you didn't think so. It was kind of funny then. But it was definitely more like that's going to be a problem later on. That's going to be a problem later on. Stop jumping in the fire. Back out into the hallway there are three passages you have yet to go down. There are two locked doors and a set of stairs leading downward. Let's see if we go right. We are almost dead. We need to rest. Yeah. Oh, I got an idea. This is brilliant. We're going to sleep in this room, right? But we're going to take the coffins and stack them up against the hallway.

So they can't just easily come in and fight us. Yeah. I mean all the doors out there are locked so we're probably okay. They might have a key. Yeah, they might have a key. Can we close the doors and stack them up? It's their house. Don't turn on the fire because they'll just walk through it and gain awesome strength from that. So the big double doors at the end of this room you want to kind of shut and then barricade with these. Okay, so what I'm going to ask you to do is these are kind of big heavy coffins. What I want you to do is roll -- someone's going to have to roll an athletics check and then someone's going to have to assist if they want.

That would be me, I think. Plus 10 I can assist. Or I don't know if assist matters. The assist doesn't matter. I just did my nails. I can't help. I have 15. I'll go for it. 26. Okay, so Travis is going to start lugging these big-ass coffins like dragging them. Yeah. And we're all just going to sit cross-legged on the floor watching. Lemonade. Fuck you. Just doing our nails. Kava's polishing her greataxe. So yeah, Travis is going to start lugging these down the hall. We just kind of like drag just an awful noise against the stone floor. Just dragging them all the way down.

And then just kind of resting them each against this door just kind of barricading. Yeah. I want to keep one to sleeping. Okay, so then it's going to be a cliche and the rest of you guys are going to... So you're going to take a rest? Yes. Should we take turns, guys, or should we just rest? Yeah, let's take turns. I think we'll hear the coffins falling over. That's the idea. Guys, it's doubtful that anything bad could happen. I'm taking a rest. Shut the fuck up. I'm taking a rest because I thought of this whole idea. See? See how much optimism you get? You get a new weapon and all of a sudden, boom, everything's fine.

Just imagine Kava sleeping with it like it's a fucking teddy bear. Petting it. Everyone go ahead and take an extended rest for me, please. Oh shit. Okay, you guys have had an extended rest. What would you like to do now? Well, I think now Travis has to get all the coffins away from the door while we watch. Can we just turn on the vents and just have them vaporized in front of us? That'd be awesome. Let's do it. I want to hit it.

Let's destroy their resting place. Okay, we're going to the second floor. Don't hit any more buttons. Just the second one. Do me a favor. Roll an athletics check there, Travis. Oh, I thought you were hitting the buttons. Okay. No, I don't think he's serious. Almost a grip. Okay, so Travis effortlessly starts lugging these coffins. Just throw them over my shoulder. Whoop. So the door is no longer blocked and you guys can proceed. Proceed. I don't want to. Let's just live here forever. Okay, where would you guys like to go? There are three passages and there's the entrance, I suppose.

Let's go the right way. I like that little door right there. It looks promising. All right, so. All right, I would like to start shedding my armor and my shield. I don't know what I was thinking. I'm going to fall on my back and be stuck like a turtle and something's going to eat me like a can of sardines. You know, my mama once told me when I was a kid, me and Henry, my brother used to play in the woods and she pulled me aside one day and she told me. She said, Travis, you're the smart one. So I'm telling you this. So there's bears out there, but you don't have to outrun the bears.

You just have to outrun your brother, Henry. And I'm hoping, I'm hoping one of you can't run. So that's a good one. Now he's just going to look at him incredulously and be like, you were the smart one. I'll have you know my noodle is the noodliest noodle on the floor. And I'd like to pick up one of the hammers. All right. So you're approaching the door on your left. That would be this one. So it's right. No, right. Your left. If you're coming in from the entrance, that would be the right. Um, I feel like I have an athletic check to put him in a headlock and drag him with. Stop. You could totally do that. Oh, that is a crit one. It still works. OK. Does it? Yes. Travis. Travis is going to reach for Chavar to try and headlock him. And Chavar is just kind of going to like wriggle out at the last minute.

Like, no, get the fuck off. That kind of like wriggling. Stop. You almost got it with a crit miss though because it's 19. Yeah. Literally you needed a three. Can I assist? Yeah. Come here. Go ahead. Assist. Wait, can I do something? I want to trip Chavar so that he falls into the headlock even more if I can. Roll fly T20. Crit! That's a plus two. Does anyone else want to try to assist? So I put him in a full Nelson. Can I do something to stop this? Well, wait until the check is done first, then I'll let you try and struggle to get free if you'd like. I was going to watch him pull.

Chavar want to assist? Sure, yeah. Okay, roll fly T20 please. Should I punch you in the face? It's not that. I was doing this by swinging her great axe at him. I'm sure you'll lop off something of a trap. Oh. That is actually going to hurt the process and Chavar will wriggle free. But just narrowly. Just narrowly. So this door appears to be locked just like the other one. I'm just going to ignore that that just happened, okay? Yeah. This is a- This goes right back to normal. This is a pretty, like a reinforced wooden door. Pretty, pretty decently thick. Um, so you have a couple of different options.

You can try and pick the lock or you can try and just break through it. Dungeoneering check Chavar? Yes, I suppose I can help you now that you tried to kill me. I didn't do anything. For no reason whatsoever. Twelve. I have a plus eleven to Dungeoneering. Well, you kind of- Oh, it's only an alt by one. Uh, so this door looks just fine to Chavar. He's going to kind of relate to the party. A-okay, this looks great. Awesome. Love it. There's strings hanging all over those plates. Pressure plates all around the entrance. Security cameras and shit. But the door, the door is fine.

The door is just cherry. Not underneath the door where the pressure plates are and he says, "I'm going to get you." "All right, let's open it." "Can I try the door now?" It is locked. Why didn't we think of that before? Let's try the exit, you guys. I'm going to try it once and then do it eleven more times while looking back at me so I'm like almost looking at everything. I'll try to pick the lock and then if that doesn't work, we can knock it down. Seems to be the way we go about things, right? Seventeen. Uh, Nem is going to fiddle with this lock for a while.

And you hear various clicking and clacking as she's gradually getting more and more frustrated and then eventually just gives up in disgust. Like this isn't giving, guys. It's not budging. Okay, Cabba, go. Test out the axe. When it doesn't work, Cabba is just going to automatically slam her body into the door trying to open it, I suppose. Do you have a roll of athletics? Break the axe. Use the old axe or use some hammers. Wait, I'm sorry, did you say it was a wooden door? Yep. Uh oh. I'm setting it on fire again. That's true. Okay, set it on fire. I'm setting it on fire.

Okay. Fire's done well. What do you want me to do for that? Uh, you have a move that allows you to spit hot fire called Dragon Breath. That's an encounter power. Yeah. Good thing we're in an encounter. You are officially in a fight with this door. Yeah. I guess I'm just going to roll a d20 plus my modifier. You're going to hit the door. Like, you're going to, yeah, let's just say that the door is going to stand still long enough for you to hit it. Alright. You lost all respect. So, in the last few seconds, you have tried to manhandle Shavar and he's wriggled free twice.

You have tried to pick the lock on this door and that hasn't failed and then finally Cabba just, fuck it, just unleashes a fire, like just a torrent of fire from her mouth against this door. Which is going to gradually burn a hole in the center of it, just like the last set of doors. Um, under her breath, Cabba's gonna say, "Fucking useless." I'm gonna, can I peek through the hole? Sure. Perception? Is that what that is? Uh, yep. You should throw your rat through. A giant lance slams into your face. 20. So, peering down, peering through this door, you're gonna see a curved hallway.

It's got nice curves. Yeah, it does. That rounds a bend and then you don't see anything past the bend. Um, it actually looks well lit with torches and there doesn't appear to be any enemies there. I'll relate that to the group. Like, curved hallway, no enemies. Pretty well lit. Cabba's gonna say, "Send the Coward's Mage through first." Aw. Why am I not that guy? Stop it. Just stab him through the hole. His robe's on fire. Fucking stab it. Just play too much. His hair's all fucked up. I'm gonna get my brother. Is that what you like to do? Everybody grab a limb and we'll...

And you're gonna shove Shavar head first into this hole and just dump him onto the other side. He is going to kind of like splash through the door head first onto the other side of the hallway. Should I put our backs against the hole so we can't climb back through? Like, nothing happened. I'm gonna get up, dust off, and just start looking around. Like, that wasn't embarrassing at all. Alright, good team. Good teamwork. Fucking god. Okay, are you going to advance down this hallway or just kind of like look around?

Let's see if I have anything to get out of this situation. We'll just shove you back in again, sir. I don't care. Pointing with her axe forward, Kava's gonna tell Shavar walk so that he continues on. Like, we're trying to go through here. Alright, so this door is- You're going first in case there's any traps. The door's not unlocked, right? Because I'm not unlocking. Fuck you guys. Well, they could reach through and unlock it. At this point, the fucking center of the door is gone. Alright, fine. I'm gonna- We could have unlocked it and just thrown it through his den.

We could just jump into the hole. Alright, I'm grabbing one of the torches and I'm making my way in. Okay. Making my way in. So it's dark right now. I'll follow. But, like, significantly- Yeah, definitely let him take a look. I'm gonna wait until he gets to the end of the hallway and calls back before I'm going anywhere. Okay. That's a good point. That's a good point if he's doing it here. Do me a favor, Shavar. Roll a perception check, please. 18. You're gonna get to the other end of this hallway and realize that there is another set of doors that are partially ajar.

Like, they are definitely not locked and there's kind of a crack of light coming through the other end. Well, the crack of light is coming from your end shining into the next room, which appears to be pitch black. Alright. I'll make my way towards the door, but I'm also gonna do a dungeoneering. Okay. Or check that shit. You said there was light coming from the room? From your side of the hallway shining into that room. Checking for quick. It's like a sliver of light. There doesn't appear to be anything off near the door or the door itself. Like, it just appears to be a door.

Alright. How close are you to the door? I imagine the door is right here? Yep. So, what do I see? I'm gonna kind of peek. Okay, roll a perception check for me. A hundred thousand sleeping flaming skeletons. Close the door and turn around. The room is constructed of fire. There's a puppy pile too. Yeah. Alright, eleven. Shavar is struggling to kind of make out something in the darkness. Do me a favor and roll a stealth check, please. Stealth is currently at seven. Good luck. Eleven. It's been a popular number for a while. Another eleven. Hey, another eleven. I like that.

Perception was eleven. Hey, stealth is also eleven. Shavar is gonna lean against the door as he's trying to kind of make out something. And the door is going to start to swing open and it is going to creak very loudly. Good going. And it will illuminate a good portion of the room in front of you. Oh, great. More caskets. They're probably sleeping. It's alright. Puppy pile, remember. God damn it. Fucking hate undead. Alright, cause this looks like there could be something in there and since we're going in here already, I want to scream out, "Hey!" Just like, like scream that and then step back like.

You're gonna scream. Okay, seriously, you want to scream? Yes. No. Fuck you, I'm here. Okay. Can we kill him? Okay, I am not making this up. The creek was not loud enough to draw any attention. The scream echoing in the hallway and then into this room was, however. Okay guys, come on. We're gonna leave Shavar in here and we're gonna close that door back up. I'm climbing back. Yup, let's do it. Leave him. Come back. That is up to you guys. That is a viable option. Would you like to make an athletics check? Can we see what's in this room first? Well, okay. Can we wait for the screams of his death to die away?

Okay. After Shavar, after Shavar yells, "Hey!" and it, "Hey, hey, hey." Like it just cascades back towards you guys. Nope, nope, nope. What's gonna happen is you're gonna hear the sound, this pounding sound. And then the sound of wood splintering as these coffins are going to start erupting with fists and kind of bony, gnarled hands. Now as this is happening, the door's gonna open a bit wider and this is what the room looks like. Over under how many caskets are in there? Damn. Shit! Just the, yeah, fucking Shavar. The brown ones are on our side. There's 12 of those fucking things in there, dude.

No. And whose fault is this? You. Yours! This is all you. This is exactly your fault. This is debatable. Are they, are they an out? I made it out through the door again. Are these flaming skeletons? They are not, well, there's no flame jets. No, they're not. Okay, I just wanna make sure. These are acid skeletons. Aid skeletons. Hey, I heard your complaints last time. No more fire. I got the, I got the message. They're all 5'11" and made of cancer. 5'11". It's not really that tall. That is the height of cancer, guys. I thought we all knew. All right. Oh, god. This, okay, so the skeletons are gonna start punching their way out of these coffins and clawing and, and just kind of, and start making their way towards the door that Shavar is standing at.

Everyone else, do me a favor, roll an athletics check. Sure. Even us, we're like right next to the door. Well, okay. Okay. Here's the thing. The people who were in the hallway, Calith, Kava was all, Kava didn't, I think Calith was the only one. Yeah. Calith is the only one who followed Shavar into the hallway, correct? But way behind you. A little bit. I was like three things down. Okay. I went in too. Okay. I was right, I was next door. I moved my token, but I didn't say anything so then I moved it back. Yeah, that's, that's okay. That's okay. Calith is basically right there.

So still roll an athletics check. Kava you too. If you're going to be running back. I want to run back. I'm thinking I'm in Critmas. Okay. Can I roll for my raccoon to assist me? Shavar roll an athletics check please. On the screen. Okay. It's not even close. That's the furthest way you can be from either crit. Yeah. Kava, do me a favor, roll an athletics check. Okay. Even if we run out of this hallway though, guys, we burned the door down. Shut up. We burned a hole. That's why we're going to go through. So if we keep them in this little corridor so that they can't surround us, maybe that is better than running away.

I do think that's a good idea. That's actually a pretty good idea. Yeah. Okay. So I'm actually, I'm not going to try to run away. I'm going to stay right where I am, Jason. Okay. So if we, like, there's a hole in the door, which means you could just actually just stab through with it shut. Like everyone else can hold it, hold it shut while somebody is just stabbing it through. I will allow that. Okay. Let's do that then. Okay. Run. Okay. Well then roll an athletics check. Can you assist me? Cause I tripped on my way out. I will try to help. Just sling her over your shoulder.

Like, if the roll is good enough, if the roll is good enough, that'll be like an automatic assist. It's gotta be pretty good though. 25? That's pretty good. Okay. So, so Kava is going to run back towards cause she's not that far away from the door. Kava is going to run back towards the other end of the hallway and kind of like assist Calith on the way back. So they are on the other side of this door. Shavar, you can move up to seven spaces. In any direction. Are you letting him back to the door? No. He is not going to be making it back to the door in time.

Okay. So the party is closing the door behind, behind you on. Oh yes. Okay. Can I get some of those coffins barricade this shit? That's what I was going to suggest. That's going to take a while to get back. Okay. Hold on. Actually, you're not that far. You're about, let me see. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven. Forty five yards. Yeah. Feet. All the strong people can help me. Not me. I can actually help fight these people through the door if Kava and Travis go do that. Yeah, we'll try to go get the coffins. Okay. Let's line up against this door and get ready.

We closed the door, right? So they shouldn't be able to reach us if we're one step away. Yeah, but there is there at the, okay, I'll be, I'll be right there and then shift back. Cause I want to keep Shavar from coming through the hole. Okay. Hold on. If we plug it with his body, they'll never be able to reach us. Okay. Hold on. Kava roll an assist please. Athletics. Yep. Or is, or no, it's just flat T20. Sorry. I don't like this. Nineteen. Yeah. Gorgeous. You're going to start dragging these coffins over. So let's say that's basically around. So they're, they're dragging these over.

These skeletons are going to start pouring into this hallway. Oh Jesus. They're so bad. Are you ready now? Oh my God. Hey guys, remember how the undead woke up earlier? I think we got some more of that. I wonder if they don't really. Twelve is such an unreasonable number of skeletons. Well you didn't have to fight twelve at all. You could have snuck past this room and never woke a single skeleton up. Someone decided to yell. Can't put this one on me guys. Oopsy daisy. To think there's loyalty among thieves or whatever. So what are we doing here? I am going to go ahead and add the party and here's what we're going to do.

know presumably another room more hallway wraps around you don't know yet the other one is a little wider two of you could walk down at a time if you'd like and it leads to another set of wooden double doors are there any chests there are no chests in this burial chamber on the opposite side of the room though there's something a bit a bit more interesting there appears to be a narrow walkway and on either side of it there appears to be a cavernous pit like you can't see the bottom of it perfect for them turn it so bad oh yeah exactly can we have an extended rest right now because I feel
