After a near disastrous fight with Rose in the middle of the Deadwood, Callie ensured that the young woman would return back to her human form before she could do anything to the party, and the party could do anything to her.

Finding out that her name was actually Tamara, she hails from the city of Aubrey. A lengthy discussion was had about whether it would be right or not to return her to town based on the realization that she has a lycanthropy issue. The problem became so heated and tense that while the group decided to let Tamara continue along the way with them, two separate camps were formed the previous night. And that's where we're picking things up today. [groaning] Let's do that thing where we go around the table and introduce ourselves. I'm Jason, I'm the Dungeon Master, going around the table starting with Jameson.

Hey, this is Jameson, I play Larg, the half-orc paladin. And Jamie. Hello, I'm Jamie, I play Tatyana, the human rogue. And Ian. Hi, I'm Ian, I play the half-elf frost mage, Cauldron. You can call him with your problem, he helped solve them. Halek. [laughter] I hate you. [laughter] I was trying to think of some other ones, but no. It was like dolphin, paper-thin, estrogen, none of those work, so. [laughter] They can't all be great, okay? That's your homework assignment, you need to come to the table with something involving estrogen next time. [laughter] Estrogen, got it, writing it down.

Okay, cool. That's my first note of the day. And Alex. Hey, I'm Alex and I play Brelim, the halfling bard. And Valerie. Hello, I'm Valerie and I play Elena, the human fighter. Hey, Karen. Hey, I'm Karen and I play Kali, the elven druid. Alright. Let's get down to the nitty gritty. We've had a discussion about what happened last time on the show. What I'd like to do is, unless anyone would like to do anything in the night, we got these two camps set up, right? On the one side we have Tatiana and Brelim. Brelim is going over to the larger camp, the base camp, whatever you want to call it, to grab some food and bring it back so Tatiana and Brelim can have a nice dinner.

And in the base camp we got Elena, Larg, Kali, Kaladin, and a tied up Tamara. Is that accurate? A loosely tied up Tamara. Oh wow. I forgot about that. Here we go. Now, the mechanics for lycanthropy state that you can roll a con save during the night, during a long rest, to get back some of those stress hit points. The problem with that is it is greatly affected if you don't get a rest for night's sleep and being tied up? Loosely. Loosely. Loosely tied up. But still, you're bound. And the stress in camp? Man, you can feel that. You can cut it with a knife. What about all that meditation we did?

Yeah, I'm, so what we're going to do is we're going to do that con save, but we're going to do it with disadvantage. I knew it. I knew it. Now, before we fast forward to the morning, the 16th, we're still on the 15th. Does anyone want to do anything during the night before we skip forward? I don't want to crush anybody's hopes, dreams, and actions here. One thing Larg wants to do, assuming he takes one shift of the watch, is he's going to spend a lot of time flipping through his prayer book that he carries around. Something I imagine with the prayer book for the Church of Arathis is that it's probably also like a small, almost almanac of laws and rules and things like that.

It's probably got a bus schedule in there and stuff. Yeah, exactly. The etiquette guide, that kind of thing. Useful phrases. He's going to look for anything in there that can help with this, like due process, whatever. He's looking for anything that would be of use in this type of situation. Oh boy, that is some gray, gray area. Well... Even if it's just a turn of phrase or something, anything that would be any kind of inspiration. So for those of you who don't know, Arathis is the god of essentially red tape, law and order, rules, society, structure, that type of thing.

A lot of people who worship Arathis believe that if we just had enough rules, if we just had more laws, society could be perfect. Again, people take that to different degrees. It's just like if you worship Alverin, the god of justice. Everyone's version of justice is a little different. So if you were flipping through this handbook, this guide, it's probably got like a Zagat's guide and stuff in there. It's got everything one might need to navigate a town or city and the rules and laws within. Anything involving something this unpredictable, because while you can talk to Tamara, and Tamara Sellers is a perfectly reasonable person.

And is probably being very, very honest with you in that they will do everything in their power to not lose control and not wolf out. The problem is Tamara can't speak for the werewolf. If she were to wolf out, there's very little to no control over that. And that's a big danger to society. How this problem has been dealt with in the past, you look at towns like Lochfort, you execute the werewolf. It's just too much of a risk. Now, that being said, that has also been the rule with things like vampires. Up until recently in a town like Aubrey is the opposite of Lochfort in that there's a few big pieces of evidence there that would suggest that maybe there is some kind of cohabitation.

Although a vampire is very different than a werewolf. So it's kind of up to lark, but that's what you find out from the book. Traditionally, the way people deal with this is execution. It's also seen as putting someone out of their misery. The Bruce Banner/Hulk thing. You never have to worry about that anymore. It's incurable. A lot of people believe it's incurable. So in that case, the only other thing he's going to try to look up is in any city or town where that is the norm or the law, try to get a sense for who does the execution. Is it just like, "Oh, that's a werewolf.

Everybody get it?" Or is it a trial or what? Well, again, it depends on the city. Big cities tend to deal with these types of problems quickly because if a werewolf were to get loose in a city like Winterhaven, Esterhold, Brightport, that type of thing, you could do a lot of damage in tight spaces very quickly. Small towns like Lochfort, obviously Lochfort is damaged goods when it comes to werewolves. They're going to... It's just kill it. If you're a werewolf, it's just kill it. Now, a town like Fair Bay and Ebony Harbor and stuff like that, on the other hand, they might have a different approach.

They might have a much more humane approach. They might try to live with this person and try to... Something like what Callie's doing. Maybe meditation can help. Maybe just a stress-free life. If we could do something to cut down on that, maybe we could fix the problem. But it all kind of depends on the person. Alright, well, he spends a good amount of time looking through the book and finding as much of that as he can, but that's all he does. Alright. Anybody else want to do anything before we skip forward? No. Alright. The 16th of Yester, you guys are two short days outside of Durran Hollow.

It has been a long trek through the Divide, and it could get longer. I need Elena. I need Elena to do me a favor and roll a flat T20. Okay. You absolutely do get a long rest, by the way. Holy... Yay! You're a crit, bitch! Best day ever, right? Best day ever. Oh, man. We find a Mario warp tunnel. Oh, yeah, we go to level 4-3. Awesome. Cool. So a crit 1 would take you to -1 in the end of the... It would take us to the missing number level, which is all glitches everywhere. Wow, a 20. That is amazing. Is it one of the first times that's ever happened? It's happened very, very, very few times.

Is this the first 20 you rolled in arc 2, Valerie? No. I don't know. Maybe. You've gotten critical hits. She's gotten one or two crit hits before on monsters. That's true. Yeah. Very interesting. Okay. So let's kick off the day here. Everyone gets up and they're stretched. Oh, I almost forgot to roll for Rose. That can't happen. We gotta do something here. Does she get advantage now because I rolled a 20? Because it's such a nice day. Well, here's the thing. That would take place at dawn. We're counting everything that happened at night. How well did she sleep loosely tied up on the ground here?

Let's see. Disadvantage on a constant throw. Oh, god. So she's gonna get seven of these stress hit points back from the last time that we played here. I'm gonna jot that down. Is there a number that you reach, right, or something? That once you get past that, then you wolf out? On an optimal day, right? Let's say you are on vacation at Disneyland and you wake up and everything is rainbows and amazing. You have 20 stress die. Like 20 stress hit points, sorry. And throughout that day, the little D4s that tick up eat away at that. When you reach zero, you wolf out.

Okay. Obviously, this isn't optimal. She didn't get the best night's sleep. She's worried for her safety. She doesn't know how the group is going to react to her from minute to minute. So this is stressful. Right. Okay. Okay, cool. What would you guys like to do first before we start on the road? Does anyone want to talk to each other? Is there like a meeting? Have cooler heads prevailed? I think that's a question for Tatiana. I was gonna say that even though the sun is shining and the birds are chirping, Tatiana is being very grumpy and probably like cleaning up their camp, but in a very passive aggressive sort of like shoving things in bags.

Like I just want to get on the road sort of way. She's not being rude or anything, but she's definitely in her own head. I think Brelin would have gone to the other camp to talk to Colton if he's awake. Oh yeah, Colton's awake. He like hands him a plate of food or whatever. And he's like, "Morning. Here, have you eaten?" Oh sorry, I was gonna say before Brelin, before Colton can finish, he has the plate out. Brelin's gonna take the plate. And starts carving it down. "Oh no, I didn't eat yet. This is good." I gotta talk to you over here. He's gonna motion like away from the camp for a second.

Yeah, Colton will follow him. So last night I talked to Tatiana about what was going on and it seemed like she was kind of on board with following, well not following whatever you say, but giving into a cooler situation if presented properly. He's gonna look up to Colton. Basically I'm telling you, you gotta be the captain here. And he's gonna have a sly smile on his face. You can just see Colton visibly get a headache. And he puts his hand to his forehead a little bit and he's like, "Well, I can't decide this alone. We all have to talk. How is she? How is Tatiana?" Well, last night I thought I got through to her.

You know, maybe it cooled her down a little bit. And he's gonna look back at the camp and she's gonna be aggressively packing the stuff still. Like, "Mm! Mm! Mm!" I have to say, maybe Slade didn't do it. But yeah, I agree. I'm not saying you take the reins. I'm saying when people talk, you listen. And I think you're the best at determining the better of multiple options. You're good at finding the good stuff and finding solutions for the bad. Colton will put a hand on him gingerly and nod his head and be like, "Yeah, but I can't do it without you, Braylin.

You know that." Well, I wasn't gonna say anything, but if you put it that way, yeah, of course I'll help. Where would you be? Come on. I thought you weren't gonna say anything. Well, you said it first, so it's okay now. That's true. And I meant it. I have an idea. I think as much as I would like to end this problem very quickly, I don't think that's gonna sit well on my conscious or anyone else's. But taking her to the city is gonna be dangerous. So maybe we can utilize cells or the authorities there to keep her safe. Keep the town safe and keep her safe from the people.

What do you think? That's a good idea. But Colton, let me ask you. Have you ever been to Jordan Hollow? No, I don't believe I have. Well, okay. There's two Jordan Hollows that I know of. There's the old one that me and my old buddy used to go to a lot. And by a lot, I mean plenty, plenty of times. And there's the new one. If the new one is even slightly like the old one, I wouldn't trust the authorities at all. They were kind of paid off, from what I remember, in cahoots with these slavers. I don't remember their names off the top of my head, but they weren't good news.

No, I mean, new Jordan Hollow could be different. It could be the same. Colton's gonna sigh and say, "Were you able to sidestep the law while you were there?" "Do you have any insight?" I mean, come on, Colton. It's me. Of course I sidestepped the law. Well, I know, but I was hoping you had some artful tips. Yeah, have a lot of money. He's gonna look up at Colton unblinkingly, just like that's a true response. Colton will do that nod like, "Of course, yeah, of course money." That's exactly what it is. What are the locals like? Do you remember? Well, normal Jordan Hollow.

They didn't like non-humans, if I remember correctly. New Jordan Hollow, hopefully is different. He's gonna shrug. Jason, I wouldn't know about new Jordan Hollow at all. I haven't been there since a long time ago. Well, I mean, you might pick some stuff up on the road. Give me a little history check. Alrighty. Plus one. I didn't go to school that day. You know that they've been making some changes to the town? You're just not exactly sure what the extent of those changes are? So they could be changes for the good or changes for the worse, maybe. Okay. I'll relay it to Colton.

I'll say like, "Well, they've changed, but who's to say in which direction?" Got it. Well, one problem at a time, I suppose, right? I guess first things first, we gotta get out of this woods. Yeah, I forgot about that. He's gonna look around. Maybe we can pool our resources together to help grease the palms, put in a good word. I'm always good for, you know, just talking to people and seeing what we can do. Perhaps there's even something we can offer that isn't gold, but still of some kind of worth. When Colton says that, Brinland's gonna scratch his chin, thinking, "You know, I had this idea ever since I got stabbed.

Performing in front of people was really fun to do it again." And if you can repeat that performance, I mean, without the stabbing, of course, let's not have a repeat of that. That's kind of what I was going for. Yeah, I mean, we could say that, I mean, you know, not to toot my horn, but maybe you guys are my entourage and Tamara Rose, whatever she wants to call herself, is an important associate. We just don't tell them about the werewolf stuff and they give us the best night's rest, good room, food, comfort, things that'll calm her down. You know, we can get through it.

Bralyn, and he like, he like does that. He like, that's not, he's like, like pats him on the shoulder very heartily. And he's and he's smiling and he's like, "Yes, yes, Bralyn, you are a genius. Yes." I mean, I already knew that again, but one one small detail. It's going to cost money to perform in town, I think, and I'm pretty sure I'm short. Like, literally, yeah, literally. But, you know. What do you what do you mean? What's it going to cost? I know it's going to cost more than what I got on me right now, and that's very unusual for me to ask for money because, you know, I'm usually rolling in it.

But this last year or so, you know, we've been kind of just roaming around. Not really. I haven't been performing much, so that hasn't been a lot of income. So, Jason, I wouldn't know the actual cost, but I'm looking at the sheet right now. No, I mean, you're a bard. You know what it costs to feed yourself for a week, basically. Feed yourself and kind of mingle and yeah. I'm going to take a call and be like, "I need to borrow 10 gold." Then we'll find 10 gold. Let's get to the city first and we'll talk, kill or steal our way around it if we have to. His eyes kind of open up.

What? We'll kill. That's a new one. Needs must, I suppose. It's a dangerous world. So should we tell everybody the idea? I think so. And make sure to bring up the performance thing. I think that's a really good plan. I'm going to try and talk to Tamara and as far as Tatiana, and he looks over and she's still punching Stephanie into a bag or whatever. If that's okay. No, no, that's totally perfect. She's got this big bag on the ground and she's just stuffing the tent in and she's just like... I'm just imagining a pot falling out of her bag and she just kicks it across the ground.

She's like, "Goddamnit!" And he'll say, "I'll try and have someone talk her down. I think I know what she might need to hear." Or at least who she needs to hear it from. Okay, well you let me know who that is and he's going to do an air guitar. Give him the inspiration here. Got it. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, Kalden will be like, "Let's step on back to camp." So Kalden will go up to Tamara and reach down and untie the very loosely tied knots. He'll side-eye Elena. Real, real stinky. Is there something going through Kalden's head like, "You could have eaten us in the night.

This is terrible. These knots." No, I think his mind is racing right now. He's probably thinking like, "Yeah, you could have tied these a little tighter. Come on, what's the point? What's even the point?" But he wouldn't say anything. And he'll untie him and he'll talk to Tamara and say something. He'll probably ask her, "Sorry again for the bondages. Did you sleep okay?" About as well as to be expected, I guess. Yeah, that's fair. Look, I'm going to be upfront with you. We need to have a very frank discussion about what our next steps are going to be and that's going to require us to ask you some questions that might be personal, but we need you to answer them honestly so that we can make the best decision.

I can do that. And it might be a little awkward. In fact, it's going to be very awkward talking about what to do and what to do with you specifically. I don't think any of us mean to be rude to talk about you as if you're not here. We want you to be a part of the discussion, but you understand the position that we're in. I do, yeah. Okay. Did you want to do this now? I think in a couple of minutes, why don't you have some food, take a stretch, use the bushes, whatever you need to do, and we'll all sit down and talk. Yeah, there's definitely that thing of...

I was going to say, you know how it is when you're tied up all night. Oh yeah. Go on. That thing of stretching and just, oh, it's good to have mobility again and probably pretty sore. But yeah, she'll do that and probably grab a bite to eat. Okay, and then Kalden will go over to Callie and say, "Good morning." Good morning. Have you had a chance to organize your thoughts regarding you know who? Yeah, I've been doing some more meditation and thinking and I think I'm a little more calm today. Good, yeah, I think we all are. I hope anyway. And then he's gonna look over his shoulder again and there's Tatiana kicking a mouse or something.

But he's gonna look at Callie and say, "Yeah, at least most of us, but calm heads and we'll come to a consensus on this. We need to talk a little bit more about you and we don't have to do that now, but that discussion is still on the table, Callie." And she's gonna kind of do one of those big gulps and she'll be nodding her head. Yeah, I know that's something that you guys probably have a lot of questions about. And when we get there, when we have that discussion, it's gonna be about how we can find a way to help you. But for right now, I think you need to go talk with Tatiana.

We can't be divided about this. We'll never get out of here alive. We have to be together and I don't know what has gotten her ire up, but it's clearly something personal. And you have personal investment in this as well. I think the two of you deserve an explanation from each other. And she's gonna look over to Tatiana too. Stabbing at tree bark. And then she's gonna take a deep breath and just, yeah, I should probably see where we're at. And then she's been like meditating on the ground and so she'll get up and like kind of square shoulders and like start calmly walking towards Tatiana.

As you're approaching Tatiana, you are gonna see her sort of like stabbing her dagger into this tree bark. Like obviously in frustration, just like, uh, uh, uh, uh. And she's gonna like quickly see you out of the corner of her eye and sort of stumble over herself and be like, oh, and try to recover by like leaning on the tree. And she's just gonna say, uh, good morning. Very good. Very casual. Sorry. And Callie is just going to pretend like she didn't even see any of that because obviously Tatiana is a little frustrated and she's just going to ask how was your night?

You were over here all by yourself. It was fine. Uh, Braylin stayed over here with me, so I at least had the company. Oh, I must have missed him. I thought he was, I don't actually know where he was. So I guess we should probably just get into it. I know that you're not happy about this whole situation. Uh, Tatiana is going to sort of like cross her arms and just like now she's like actually relaxing against this tree as opposed to being propped up on it before. And she's just gonna put her hand on the bridge of her nose, like squeezing it. And she's just going to say, listen, Callie.

I talked with Braylin last night. And I don't care what we do. And then she's gonna like, bring her hands down and sort of like lock eyes with Callie. But I do have a condition that I hope we as a group can agree is the right thing to do. Okay. And she'll sort of like push herself off step a few steps closer to Callie. We can take her wherever she wants to go. I don't care. Just keep her away from me. And if she turns again, I will kill her. Callie's like nodding like that adds up. I don't want you to think that I'm crazy. I know that she's dangerous. I just couldn't.

I don't I couldn't live with myself if we had done something there while she was unconscious. And I know that this isn't the best scenario for anybody. But she's you know, she's a person. I think that's where we disagree. If she turns again, I'm not going to stop you. I understand that she's dangerous. But her and I have been talking and I've showed her some good de-stressing mechanisms. And I'm hopeful that she can have a better control over this than she had before. If you think you can control her, that's fine. But what I said still stands. And I'm not going to put on the kid gloves with this girl.

Well, why don't why don't we all get together and talk about how the rest of this is going to go? Because it's not just about you and me. It's about all of us. OK. And she's going to sort of look towards the ground and maybe kick the dirt a little. And this this girl, she is not part of the group. And that's more of like a last quip, not like a I'm stating that that is not happening. That's it's more like a passing sort of. She is not a part of this group sort of thing. Talia just let her have that. And then I guess we're all getting together to discuss this.

I'm glad this isn't tense. I'm feeling fine. All right. So let's let's cut in just a little bit. I imagine everyone is kind of they're packed up, that the camp is pretty much broken down. And now the entire party is together. Obviously, this is stressful for everybody. It's something that has to be worked out. Who would like to start things off? I guess, Kalden will. Could can we can we can we say this is happening as we're like traveling? Can we like be walking if you'd like? Can we like do a walk and talk while we're trying to make our way? Sure. Is that OK with everyone?

Yeah. OK. So, yeah, everyone like gets ready and and we're all moving down the road and the sun is at, sun's out and the birds are chirping. It's wonderful. Gorgeous day. Yeah, it's such a such a gorgeous these are gorgeous woods. Like everyone, you know, on a good day, like these woods, they get a bad rap, but they're beautiful. Right. All the dead trees and orcs. Yeah, it's fine. And yet nobody in the group is appreciating this gorgeous day because you could cut the tension with it. Yeah, I love that. Oh, I love that. Yes, Jamie. Oh, that's so good. So Kalden is going to say, OK, let's cut through it.

We need to figure out what to do and we need to do it before getting to Durran Hollow, which is somewhere we need to go because there might be survivors from Dunhurst there. And I'll look over at Larg when he says that there's a couple of things I'd like to know tomorrow from you, just so that we can have a better idea of your condition and what we're dealing with. You mentioned that you had something triggered this in Durran Hollow, your transformation, which caused you to run out here. That's correct, right? I was feeling really stressed and I ended up running out of town.

I didn't want to hurt anyone. And Kalden's going to like make a little like scrunchie face a little bit and be like, I'm going to need you to be more specific about that. It's been a while since I've been outside of Albury. I didn't really know anyone in Durran Hollow and it's busier than what I'm used to, to be honest. There's a lot of people trying to get you to come into their establishment and gamble. And there was there was a man there who wanted me to go work for him. And I didn't really want to, but he was fairly forceful about it. So I just tried to get out of town as quickly as I could.

Oh, what kind of work? Brothel work. And who was this man? What was the establishment? It's a newer one. It's a larger brothel, the Cherry Blossom Heaven. It's a man named Crane. He owns the place. Cherry Blossom Heaven. Crane. And you can see like Kalden filing that away and he's like, all right, well, that should be easy enough to avoid. You didn't wolf out in the city, right? You. She's going to perk right up. No, no, no, no. Nothing like that. So how did it manifest while you were in the woods if you got away from this man and his business? And she's almost going to look at you like, really?

It's like, well, it's not like the woods here have been all that safe. I kept hearing noises. It sounded like something was following me. I've heard about all kinds of animals. And I just I didn't have a weapon to defend myself, really. I had a dagger and that's it. I see. So you got defensive, kind of scared. I get I get it. I understand. I understand. And she's going to nod along. Now, I. Can you tell us how you first. Got this. What was the event that caused these transformations to start? Was it in Aubrey? How far back was this? This was it's something I've been living with for a while now.

I used to hunt and I was pretty decent at it. I was on the East Coast and. Something something came right at me. Obviously, I know now it was a werewolf, but I didn't at the time. I'd never seen anything like it. Can Tatiana interject really quickly? Sure. Since we're walking down the road as this conversation is happening, I picture her being not far away, but like, you know, and she's just going to sort of like pipe up and snidely say, careful with that line of questioning, Kalden. You wouldn't want to stress her out. OK, Tatiana, not helping. And and you can.

OK, I would say that it's pretty evident to the party that it's not even Tatiana's fault. It's just this line of questioning. This is leading to something. It's almost a trial. Right. And and Tamara is not stupid. She knows what's going on. So she's taking some deep breaths. She's she's just. But her breath is kind of rickety as she's as she's drawing it in. Like, you could tell she's nervous. Her heart is beating. This isn't a one on one one v one either. So jump on in if you. Yeah, I imagine everyone. Yeah. Kalden will ask where on the East Coast? What location were you at?

It was near Oldmore. The woods, obviously, not the town. And if you don't mind your business there that brought you to the woods. Well, I used to travel from town to town. I just kind of wanted to see the sights. What do you think? She's got almost chuckle like that's that's kind of like that's kind of just like the question kind of caught her off guard. So yeah, Kalden will smile like like this was his attempt at a joke. Right. I think my exploring days are over. He'll laugh a little and nod his head. You're I must admit, I'm not super familiar with werewolves or lycanthropy.

I know of it and I know of the myths and lore that I've heard of it. But the one that attacked you, did it have these weird like bone patrusions that you had as well? This is something I've never heard of for Lycans or any kind of werewolf. Not that I saw. No, it was mostly just this blur of hair and teeth. I don't remember any bony patrusions, though. And there's going to be a moment where she she stops. Do I have that? Oh, you're not aware of your transformation at all, then. Right. Let's jump in. Yeah, you definitely you have a lot of them. A lot of them.

It's going to go quiet for a second. I was going to say a lot. A lot of them. And it's going to be kind of this weird realization about it's like, oh, I didn't know that. I mean, again, maybe it's just your particular physiology. Who knows if you didn't get a good look at this werewolf? I guess there's no way we can know about that. And I don't think any is going to look around to the group like I don't think any of us are well first in the subject. Yeah. Mark shakes his head. Does anybody in the group know anything about werewolves? Um, actually, I want that bait.

Take that bait. I'm wondering if Elena would know, because like she was in Overwatch over daily Overwatch. Yeah. When Group four was like doing everything in Lockford and, you know, she was not in the military, but doing sort of training stuff. She probably would have heard about all of the stuff that had happened in Lockford when Group four came back. There could have been some stories that spread around there. Yeah. I don't know if it'd be a I don't know if it'd be like a history book type thing. Right. Yeah. I do think that it would it would probably get around.

So let's let's let's do a roll. Let's see here. I would say give me a wisdom check. And this is not a wisdom save. It's a wisdom check. Just a wisdom check. Well, OK. Well, that's a five. So probably not. It's probably just something that that that missed Elena. Right. Well, I see the hard part for me is Tatiana doesn't know anything personally about werewolves. She just knows what she's been told about werewolves. I don't think she would say anything. OK, I'm thinking here's the thing I would imagine in between these bits of conversation, I would imagine there's maybe maybe a silence.

Maybe people are trying to find the right thing to say. Correct me if I'm wrong. Well, one thing Larg doesn't really understand, Kaldin's line of questioning. So at some point while they're talking, he's going to drop back and and talk to Elena kind of quietly. He's just going to kind of get her attention. So I think I think something that's going to be important is if we get attacked again, keeping her safe. Because she was OK last time until she got to she got hurt. So I don't know if that's something that you wanted to do or if you want me to do that.

Keep her from getting hurt again. Yeah, I mean, if she if we get attacked and she gets hurt and she turns again, then that's that's bad for everybody. So I thought maybe you or me could try a little harder to keep her safe. So hopefully that doesn't happen. I mean, yeah, that's that's a good idea. Although we we did roll a crit 20. So like, I don't think anything's going to happen to us today. You've doomed us. You've doomed us, Valerie. And then the skies grew dark. I think I think Dimir would speak up after a while. And this is kind of her way of broaching the topic and at the same time trying to break the ice a little bit.

Well, I can't help but notice that we are walking in a Westernly direction. Are we still heading to Durnhollow? Ralen's going to speak up. Oh, yeah. Sorry. I probably should have told you guys. He's going to stop. I assume he's walking near the front or like middle front with Kalten. And he's going to turn around. Yeah. So I got an idea, guys. I talked to Kalen about it and I think it can work. I say we get her in a Durnhollow, but under the guise as, you know, maybe one of my I don't want to say groupie, but maybe my entourage. And I put on a show. I get us some nice stress free rooms.

From there, we decide what we're going to do if we're going to go to Aubrey or if Tamara wants to head on our own from there. We can do it and discuss it all within the confines of a beautifully furnished, probably brand new room. And no one will come after us because I'm a performer and I'm going to tear it up. He's going to do the air guitar thing and, you know, I'll make sure that we're all taken care of while we're there. Once we leave, that's that's we're going to have a plan. Tamara's going to speak up really quickly. Are you good? He's going to like chuckle.

Am I good? Lady, you haven't heard of the child star, Brightport? I would say several long blinks are going to follow. OK, I can see that I have to educate you in the ways of culture and and masterful works. Is he good? My boy here is the best. All right. The best bard. Yeah, I put myself up there at least top five. I'm one of my favorite bards. He's going to put his hands on the sides and kind of walk up to her. I'm I'm pretty good. I'm very good. You know what? I'm selling myself short. He's going to laugh, kind of smile, finger guns. I can get us great rooms.

I can get us taken care of. All you have to do is act like you're part of my group. I want to rush and let's not forget, don't wolf out. That's a key component of the plan. If this is an offer that's on the table, she is going to nod her head emphatically. I can do that if that's OK with everyone else. Yeah. Well, that's what we're doing here. We're discussing. He's going to look around to the rest. It's going to look at Tatiana specifically. It may not be a cure all, but it's a band aid. And right now, I think that's what we need to hold us together. Tatiana will give Brelin like a sincere look and continue walking.

But under her breath, when Brelin says it, just don't wolf out. She's going to say or do. But under her breath very quietly to herself. He's like, like, perception or whatever. Like to see if I hear that. Let's OK, instead of everyone rolling perception. Tatiana, give me a stealth check just to see how how quiet that would be. So as long as that doesn't beat your passive perception, I'd say, you know. OK, where is passive perception? It should be on the front page of your. Oh, there. OK, I see it. It says park. That's why I was confused. So, Kalden will say, yeah, I think that's a good plan.

I've got nothing but well, I've got nothing but faith in Brelin's talent. And you got to have faith, just like that song that you sing, Brelin. Got to have faith. Yeah, I did see that one once a night. Break us off a little piece of that. Why don't you? Just so just in the background so we can, you know, make a make our travel nicer. I mean, are you sure I don't want to bring any baddies out of these brushes over here? Oh, you know what? Good point. Yeah, that's that's a good point. We'll hear it in town. We'll hear it in town. But I guess that's what we need to I guess that's the other thing we need to discuss.

Is going all the way after after being in Durnhollow. Then what's next? Because you tomorrow want to go all the way to Aubrey. But I don't know. I don't know if that's in the stars for us. I think it's something we all need to decide on. I, I know for myself, I'd certainly like to take care of this sometime. And he's going to gesture to his arm and Callie. I know that time is not on your side as well. Tamara would speak up. To be honest, you've already been far too kind to me. And if you could just get me out of these woods, then I can go the rest of the way by myself.

Well, I had an idea about that. I was thinking about it a lot. And I know we talked a lot about some some things yesterday and look at Tamara and say, you know, sorry. And that if you felt threatened or were scared. But but I've been thinking about what we should do. And I don't think that we should make any decisions like what we were talking about yesterday. I don't think that we have that right. But if you are a citizen of Aubrey, then I think that they should. So when we get to Durran Hollow, I would like to send a letter to Aubrey and have have them come get you.

I think it's better than you walking the roads alone. And I think that they should know. Hmm. There would be a probably a long pause from Tamara. OK. I guess that's fair. I can do that. Well, that's good. That's what we'll do then. I think that's a good plan. And he'll nod his head with satisfaction. Can I get Larg, Braylin, Kaldin and Kali? Should you do me a favor roll an arcana check for me? Magic, not my forte. Hey Larg, same, same Zs. Same Zs across the board. Wow. I love all these. I'm going to be inside of the road into the forest. There's a few different things it could be.

It could be someone using magic in kind of a blatant way, like in combat, something like that. It could be a weapon or artifact that has some kind of power to it. It could be a few different things, but you're definitely feeling it right now. I think Kaldin will like he'll like start looking around and maybe he sees Kali like react to this a little bit too. Yeah, because like I think the whole time that we've been walking, she would definitely be very intent on the conversation. And then like when she feels that she's probably actually going to stop walking and kind of like look in that direction.

Do you feel that too? Yeah, that's very strange. How far away is it? Or like does it feel close enough to investigate or does it feel like way away? Okay, the way this works is traditionally if you can feel it, you're fairly close to it. It would have to be something extraordinarily powerful for you to feel it any number of miles away. Okay, like really far away? Yeah. Kaldin will look around at everyone and say, I feel something, the air of something magical in that direction. I don't know what it is, but maybe it's not too far from here. Maybe we can take a closer look.

Breland's gonna look at him. What? It could be someone just casting a spell, but it could be someone out there or it could be something giving off arcane energy. I'm not sure. Breland looks at him. I vote no, chief. Yeah, got it. All right, one no. What would everyone else be thinking? So, wait, I'm not Callie. Elena. Well, two things. First thing is, you know, Elena doesn't feel anything, so she's more intrigued than anything else. And two, this is just for us. Guys, we gotta do it. We gotta crit 20. Like this is a powerful magical thing. Like come on, y'all. This is for us.

I saw a post that a certain Jason Macy put on Facebook earlier about throwing curveballs to us. I mean, that could be this. It could be something later on. It could be something you're gonna get for calling me Macy. I was really happy Larg hasn't just run straight off into it. It's only because he didn't feel it. Oh, no, that's true. But Elena is intrigued because she doesn't really have any magical side of her. So all of that is like super interesting to her. That's sort of the same with Tatiana. She doesn't know a lot about magic or how it works or any of that stuff.

But did you had you said if it was like any malicious type of magic, do they know that? That's the thing. Magic is magic. You can't really tell intent. OK. It's a Pokemon. There's not bad Pokemon trainers who make them. Could we tell what school of magic it is? Would we be able to pick up on that? I again, I'd say it's more a feeling. It's a vibe. It's like a Geiger counter type of thing. OK. OK. Oh, sorry. Oh, no, go ahead. Go ahead. I would say, can I roll either like a survival or perception check to see if I hear any movement in the woods? Sure. Which one would you prefer?

They're the same. Give me give me perception. OK. Well, fuck off. Well, so Kelly's going to Kelly's going to close her eyes and just kind of listen and just you know what the problem is. It's such a beautiful day. The birds won't shut the fuck up. So the Cali can just listen to the sounds of the forest. So it's the tweet tweet tweet tweet tweet tweet tweet tweet tweet tweet. It's just that constantly. And then the gentle rustle of of whatever leaves might be on these trees that the wind is picking up. It's just yeah. It's damn that. That 20. Yeah. So Largo closes eyes and uses divine sense to at least try to figure out if it's super evil.

Whatever magical. Sure. Like it could be a demon in the woods. Let's go. Yeah. Skeletor. At least we can rule out just objectively evil. Right. Was there a role accompanying that or was it just. No. You just got to tell me if it's bad. Yeah. It's definitely not a demon. Largo knows that. It's not. It's nothing. He says that. Yes. It is definitely not a demon. I think it's OK, guys. You know enough about that. It's like, OK, well, it's not like flat out like it's not apocalyptic. It's not evil. It's just that it's something magical in the woods. And I would also say that this is a thing that that probably happens from time to time.

It's definitely not such an out of the like it's not out of left field to the point where it's like, I've never felt this before. It's just like, oh, there is there is definitely something of note. I think when Largo mentions it's not it's definitely not a demon. Really like, oh, that's a relief. Like sarcastically. I think. Oh, sorry. Go ahead. No, I was just going to make a joke and I shows everybody is scars. Yeah, yeah. I was the exact same. I don't need to because I got little ones on my face from the court. Thank you very much. I guess Colton will like look around and and say, I like I like this plan.

I think we're circling it. Well, if it's not a demon, hell, maybe it's another werewolf. And he like shrugs and starts heading in that direction. In the direction of the magic. And he goes to it and he finds it. So, OK, so, OK, uh, Calvin's going to start walking into the woods. So leaving the trail, going into the woods, right? Yeah, I'm headed towards this thing. Because Calvin has been one of the most level headed people so far, I would say that if as long as Callie's going to, I think Tamara would go. Braylin would follow for sure. Oh, yeah, I think. Yes.

And as Calvin starts like walking to her, she's like, oh, all right, I'm going to go with him. So you guys. OK, so it sounds like the party's going in. I want to have Elena and Tamara, like stay towards the back. OK, that sounds fair. Like just be like, hey, let's not like be right at the front. Let's like hang back a little bit and sort of just observe. OK. I am wondering. Yeah, it's a, yeah, it'll be a team building exercise, you know, it's a new day, a wonderful day. Yesterday's gone. Don't stop thinking about Tamara. Tamara, that's a little joke. Lighten up.

Braylin, go fast. And gives our position away. Yeah, definitely. Absolutely gives the position away. And then a rock comes down and swims in the. So you guys are going to be walking for a bit here, I'd say about about five or 10 minutes. And I would like, you know what? Everybody give me a perception roll. I want to see if you pick up on this much better. Oh, that's so better. Oh, yes. That's another one for Elena. She's good Lord. Elena, Callie, Braylin. You're going to hear some aggressive noises. And I'd say if it's one of those things where everyone's like, hold on a second.

You're going to hear rustling firstly. And this is coming from a little bit further in. It's not on top of you. I'd say you pick it up from a decent distance. You're going to hear rustling and then what sounds like. It sounds like flesh tearing. This sounds like something being eaten. This is definitely something vicious going at it, too. And it sounds like more than one. It sounds like it sounds like a team, a pack of something. Callie's going to grab the back of Kaladin's shirt or whatever and point to her ears. Listen. He does. I would say if the team, if the party's listening for it, you're going to hear it now.

It's like, oh, oh, yeah, no, I hear that. I pick it up. You're also, those of you who picked up on that little ping of magic. If you were kind of listening for that again or trying to feel it, it's really close. Like in touching distance or in sound distance? In sound distance. OK. The two sounds are probably correlated. Braille is going to use a very low singing, very quiet singing voice and use hand signals and cast detect magic and concentrate for 10 minutes. It lasts 10 minutes, but it's instant action. So I want to learn the school of magic if it has any school of magic.

Also, I get to see faint auras of if it's within like visual range of what it outlines, kind of like through bushes and stuff like predator vision. Yeah, just as you can. Oh, no, I have to. It has to be outside. So unless part of it is like exposed, I will be able to see the auras. OK. I would if Braille is concentrating on this. This is this is enchantment like this is something is these are probably laying out in the open, actually. So Braille would see the faint outline of like a long piece, maybe a stick or staff, something like that. And what looks to be the outline of a bow.

So I envision my eyes go white, like when I used to use the the other abilities I forget which one it was, the save the future. But it's more of like a hint of sky blue, kind of just like analyzing the in front of me. And he's going to see it and he's going to say, there's some magic stuff. Looks like a stick or a bow. How magic is like enchantment is pretty good. I mean, it's probably pretty good. Better than anything we have. Probably maybe. I don't know. But what about what about that sound? Anything coming from them? They they're going to eat us, probably whatever they are, for sure.

One hundred percent. I can guarantee you that. But not magic. No, no, no, no. And it's going to try and I'm going to try and scan around. I will sneak forward a little bit, not too far from the party, maybe five feet. If the if the noises aren't like you said they're a little ways away, right? Yeah. If you had to put a distance on it, probably like twenty five, thirty yards. Oh, OK. Well, half of that. OK. Give me a stealth roll. Oh, I can't inspire myself either. You got this, man. Nope. Oh, my God. Well, OK. Add a live number that counts. So everyone at home, that was a that was a that was a crit one.

So that's my first crit one in a very long time. Yeah. Don't get decapitated. That is a total of four. Breland is going to Breland's going to start to sneak up here. It's like, OK, let's let's see if I can get a get a good view of this thing. Crunch, several twigs and sticks are going to break underneath the Breland's boot. That tearing and gnawing is going to stop dead. Breland is going to look back at the group, shrug, look forward and. Would you say these things are five feet within five feet of me in the party or no? I'm moving up ahead now, right? Yeah, you said about halfway, so they'd be about 15 yards.

Is that I don't know the conversion. Oh, there's three feet to every yard. Oh, they're pretty far. OK, we got some distance. Never mind. I was going to use Thunderclap, but instead I'm going to the party, shrug and then go invisible. Wow. Break magic and go invisible. OK, Colton is going to. Oh, sorry. Colton is going to like put his his hand over his face and say he beefed it. Let's go. Wait, hold on. Here's what's going to happen, because Breland is closer to the source of this than the rest of the party. I'd say Breland would be the first to react. So here's what we're going to do.

The party's going to be back a bit. Breland is going to step forward closer. Crunch snap. He is going to turn back to the party, shrug, go invisible. That sound just before he does that stops that that rending, gnashing sound. And then you're going to hear movement as I'd say Breland is the first to see them. But the party would see them soon after. Five dire wolves are going to come sprinting out of the woods and toward the source of this noise. The crazy thing is Breland's invisible, so they are going to probably run around Breland and start to go toward the party.

Well, before well, as they're encircling me, are they within five feet when they're encircling me? Let's see. Nope. Holy shit. Did they just crit on me? Yeah. Everyone do me a favor. Roll initiative. Oh, that wasn't bad. Oh my God. Is that your third 20? That's my third 20. My second one. I think she hacked the table. Valerie, whatever. Give me the hack, please. Guys, I'm in the back. These wolves just rolled terribly. 12, 12, 9, 8, 7. Hell yeah. This could not go better for you guys. You are in a prime position. Are we ready? Save me. Alayna, you are up. Oh no, I'm first.

Okay. You rolled a 20. Let's see. Okay, first. Okay, right. First thing I'm going to do is I'm going to look towards Tamara and I'm going to say, stay back here and do not fight. Oh, she'll nod like furiously. Although she will defend herself if need be, but she'll probably, yeah. She has a dagger still, correct? Yeah, someone gave her a dagger. I think Larg gave her a dagger. Would that be something that would have been taken away at night? No. No. Let's just say she has a dagger. Callie wouldn't have mentioned it. God, yeah, I think. Makes it even better to tie her up.

I don't know. If you're tying her up, you're probably going to take away the sharp thing that could cut through rope. But I would imagine if you're traveling. If you're traveling on the road, let's also use common sense and say, hey, you might want to defend yourself. Yeah, we gave it back to her. What a grateful DM. I am so impressed. Yes, thank you. I'm glad we talked that one through. Alright, Alayna. Alright, so I'm going to tell her that and then I'm going to try and run towards the front. But the lines on this are funny and it's confusing me. So, let's see, 5 times 6 is 30, so I can move 6 spaces.

So I'm going to go 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. I guess I'll go here. Okay. Hi. If I were to use an action surge. Well, you can also take the dash action if you wanted to just close the gap. Right, okay. So I was thinking of talking to Tamara as my action, that's why. Oh, no. Right, but if I'm in front of them, then I can't attack. Then I'm just in front of them. Well, then you could use an action surge if you wanted. Right, that's true. It's up to you. Okay, I'm going to use my action then to just move a little more ahead. Like here. But that's going to be it. Okay, Kaladin, your turn.

Okay. I will... Kaladin will conjure up a slurry of ice and snow on Dire Wolf 3 and Dire Wolf 1. And attempt to... He'll try and do his snowball on them. So that's what it's going to be, a deck save. Okay, let's do it. Let's have these wolves save. Oh my god, I think they both saved. Yeah, they save real, real good. Dire Wolf 3 will crit. Okay, so they take half as much damage on a successful save. All right, sweet. So half of this damage... So five, they take five damage total. That was really close to being two ones as I saw the second one. I know, yeah. Anything else?

Yeah, so ice and snow and it'll start look like it's snowing around them and then like turn into big ice balls and start pelting them. Boom, boom, boom. But most of them will miss and that'll be his turn. So like they might keep running and dodge a couple with just like every once in a while smack, smack. Yeah, yeah, I love that. Yeah, yeah. They're like run through it. That's very cool. By the way, these wolves are huge. These things look like they weigh a good three, four hundred pounds. But they are big. And how tall are they? Do you want to get me in trouble?

Only a little bit. Yeah, I was about to say, do you remember Theriathon? Because I'm still answering emails. Look. And what is their income and how old are they? Social number is... No, they each weigh eight to nine thousand pounds. And they have several smaller wolves orbiting them. Now Larg, your turn. I just get a really vivid image of that. It's like Mario Kart when you have this on a phone. Oh my god. Like turtle shells. Alright, so I started this fight like in between two tiles. Can I move myself onto one tile here? Oh yeah, I'm sorry. That's my fault. Yeah, no worries.

Okay, so Larg is going to cast Bless. And he's going to cast it on the three people behind him. So Tatiana, Kaladin, and Callie. Aw. Nice, thank you. So let me... Hashtag blessed. Get out. They are blessed. And then he's going to stay where he is with his shield up and hope that they run at him instead of the squishies. Callie, your turn. Okay. So I'm going to... Oh god, now I've got to figure out how to do pointers again. Okay. I'm going to cast... I'm going to stay where I am and I'm going to cast Spike Growth. Which is going to turn like a 20 foot radius into difficult terrain.

And let's see. It's pointers, right? Yes. Yes. Okay, so and you want that centered... Oh. Well, yeah. Are you sure? No, he just started like drawing. I hate everything right now. Oh my god, am I going to get hit by this thing too? Oh fuck. No, it's fine. It's fine. I got into this. It might as well kill me. Do it Callie. Can you move it back like one more square? Like up? Like diagonal? She's saying bishop to rook. No, the other way. So see where Dire Wolf 1 is? In that direction. Are you not seeing this? Yeah, now you're... It's a little waggy here. Oh, okay. Did you ever question me like that again?

I'm sorry. Can you, okay, one more time. Can you move it just like one square to the right just so it doesn't hit Larg? Okay, one square to the right so it doesn't hit Larg. Okay. Okay, there. That's where I want it. Okay. Okay, so when a creature moves through this area it takes 2d4 piercing for every five feet. Oh damn. There is no saving throw for it. Oh wow. Yeah. They just summoned some spikes then. Yeah, so yeah, just a bunch of spikes and shit like just come right up out of the ground and make that whole area difficult terrain. Damn, okay. Anything else?

Yeah, there's like another little thing that says like if they can't see the area because it like appears as regular ground. So like if they can't see the area they have to make a perception check to see like if they recognize that it's dangerous terrain. But I don't, I always assume that the rest of the wolves can see it too because it's not like they're around a bend or something. This is spike growth, right? Yeah. Let's see here. I imagine they'd be able to see it, right? Right. I just wanted to be sure. They can smell it. They have keen smell. Yeah, I was about to say any creature that can't see the area at the time of the spell must make a wisdom perception check against the spell to recognize the terrain.

Okay, yeah, so they basically got to look at it and like that looks sharp or something. Yeah. Either way, these wolves are in this shit. Yeah. Isn't it when a creature enters it though? It's like whenever they move through it. So if they start in that square, however many squares they move through, they get damage for each five feet. Okay. I assume this is a level two spell, yeah? Yeah. Damn, that's so fucking good for two. Boom, Kali just like punches the ground and a bunch of spikes shoot at. Anything else, Kali? I really want to do my flame blade, but I'm going to wait.

Okay. Tatiana, you're up. Oh wow, my map just freaked out and centered on me. That was weird. Okay, so Tatiana is going to attack Dire Wolf One with her bow. Oh, that's because you're blessed. Oh yeah. Holy shit. 29 will hit the wolf. In the chat, you are welcome from back. Thank you so much. Thank you so much, Clark. Oh, lovely. Yeah, there you go. Seven damage to Dire Wolf One. Anything else? That is all. Okay, Tamara is going to just stand there. Just like, okay, I'm going to follow her. I'm not trying to piss this group off, but she is worried about your safety.

Yeah, that's what I was going to say. She still probably can't move. Well, you can move closer to me. She was told to stand there and don't do anything. Just a quick question, Jason. Does Tamara know that in the Player's Handbook she has more actions available to her, like Evade? Cauldron is going to look back and say, "Friends of yours!" Give her a wink. Wow. Weird. Okay. Oh my goodness. Dire Wolf Number One. Well, shit. Dire Wolf Number One is taking some damage, right? What is it again? 2d4? 2d4 per five feet. Oof. One. So let's take 2d4 damage for this wolf.

Can I do it? Go right ahead. Okay. I have a thing, so. Oh, do it. There we go. Five damage to Dire Wolf One. So you're going to hear the slightest, like, just a little, like, it's like, "Ow, damn." I, ooh, shit. But he is going to get up to Larg. Target Larg. And let's see here. Let's try to, let's try and bite Larg. How about that? No. Oh, 14's going to miss. I told you no. Man, Dire Wolf Number Four. I'm a little fuzzy on this, because Dire Wolf Number Four is outside this thing. And I would imagine, let me reread that just one more time to make sure that I understand.

I think it's like if they're not present when the spell is cast, then they have to... Any creature that can't see the area at the time the spell is cast must make a wisdom spell, but they were there. Right, so they should recognize it. So they should recognize it as hazardous terrain, as you're saying? Yes. Okay. So what we're going to do is Wolf Number Four is just going to... What's there speed? Oh, Jesus. It's going to move right there. Flanking the right side of the group. Dire Wolf Number Three is just in the weeds here. Man. Dire Wolf Three is about to be in a lot of pain.

There's like snowballs, sleet balls coming from the sky and spikes coming from the ground. Dire Wolf Three is going to try to move here. Now that means one, two, three, four... Eight D4? So he moved eight spaces, is what you're saying? Wait, he takes two D4 for every space he moves, right? Yes. So he moved four, so that's eight D4. Wait, how are you counting four? Oh, because he's so big. Like every five feet for him is double? I don't think it's double. No. He just moved the twenty feet he needed to move. Oh yeah, yeah. Sorry. To get out of the circle. Okay. So hit it with a shitload of damage.

So four times, right? One, two, three, four. So sixteen damage to this wolf just to get the hell out of this. Not bad, Callie. Not bad. That is effective. Dire Wolf Two. That is effective. This wolf is going to target Tatiana. Yay! Let's see. I want to check something real quick. If you make me a werewolf, Jason, I swear to fucking god. These are dire wolves. I'm just kidding. It's for the story. We'll get some great roleplay out of it. Yeah. That would be... that would be choice. Yeah, I know. Yeah, it actually would. So what's going to happen is, we're going to use something called pack tactics because he's within five feet of an ally.

He is going to have advantage on this attack. Is it really five or is it ten? Looks like five. Damn it. Looks like five. Are we ready? Yeah! Holy shit! Oh no. Well, cool. That is a crit, ladies and gentlemen. Ouchies. Which means... oh, and he rolled a six on that, so that means we do a roll and crit table. I don't like it. I don't want to. Unreliable armor. The target's AC is reduced by two for the remainder of the encounter. If the target has no armor, you and all your allies have a plus two to attack for the remainder of the encounter against this target. Bet she's wearing armor.

You're wearing armor. So you're just taking a negative two to erase it. I am. I have special armor. I am more. Well... Should I change it? Oh, no, I can't change it. I guess it's just for the encounter. So I'll remember that. I can change it. Okay. Oh, wait, no. Wait, no, I can't. I have no control. I was thinking if other people attack, it might get confusing if I'm like, "Oh, but it's actually fifteen." Oh, no, no, no. I'm... hold on. The target's AC is reduced by two for the remainder... Yeah, it's just reduced by two for the remainder of the encounter for everyone.

For the whole party? No, no, no. For you. Any wolf that attacks you, it's just negative two to your AC. Gotcha. Yeah. So we'll have to remember that. Oh, we gotta do damage. Do we? Sixteen damage. I'd like you to reroll that, please. What are the grounds? I have none. I just want you to do it. Oh, okay. Filibuster. Yeah. Do me a favor. Tatiana, could you make a strength saving throw for me? Uh, sure. Okay. You have been knocked prone by this wolf. Alright. Okay. Wolf number five. Advantage on perception. This wolf's gonna kinda give a whiff to the air real quick. Oh, that's shit.

So never mind. That's... Trying to find me, wolf? Yo, Breland's so fresh and so clean, clean. And right there. And that'll end Dire Wolf Five's turn next to Callie. So good. Dire Wolf number two still in these brambles, man. But to get out, let's see. One will get him out. So right next to Elena. Do me a favor, hit it with one of the bramble things. Gorgeous. Five to Dire Wolf number five. Or two, sorry. Five to Dire Wolf number two. Dire Wolf number two is going to target Elena. And gonna try and bite her. 21 will hit. Yeah, Will. And 11 damage to Elena. Could you roll a strength saving throw for me?

Yes. Save. Oh, you're good. You're fine. You will take the brunt of this wolf attack and just like, ugh. You're not going down. Hey, Breland. Yes. What do you got to say for yourself? Callie. What do you have to say for yourself? What would happen if I run in this field of danger here? You're gonna get hurt. Every time I run through it? Every five feet, you're gonna take 2d4 of damage. Well, what you could do is you could head to the south and- I'd see that and go through the wolf blockade. That's the name of my new band. Wolf blockade. Just run away. Just sprint into the woods.

So seeing the problem he's caused, Breland's gonna look at- He's gonna hear Tatyana get knocked down on the ground and he's gonna be very- Like he's gonna be upset. He doesn't like that. So he's gonna move in the brambles. He's gonna move into the difficult terrain. Holy shit. 5, 10, 15, so that's 3, so that's what? How many d4 is it? 3. 6. Oh well, 6, yeah. 64. So I don't know if I can use the Bardic Inspiration against myself. Against damage. Is that possible or just enemy attacks? Okay, here's the thing. Would Breland know that he would be taking this damage ahead of time?

Is this visible to Breland? Probably if he saw the wolves get ripped to shreds. Probably. Okay. I'm gonna expand some more Bardic Inspiration. I forget what it's called. Let me look here. It's called... Not the face. Cutting Words, I think? Not the face. A creature that you can- No, it's a creature. It makes an attack roll. Not again. I can't do it. Oh. Yeah. So remember, this is difficult terrain, so is that your whole move? That's gonna be, yeah, most of it, so go ahead and hit me with those dice. I take no pleasure in this. 3, 5, 5. Oh my God. Holy shit. 13 damage to Breland.

I love you. Buddy. So this is amazing. So Breland is going to see Tatiana go down and just sprint into these rose bushes of pain, just cutting and slashing at him. I imagine it's piercing his clothes and he's getting stuck and he has to do that thing where he has to tug and rip and bits of skin are just getting cut and sliced. Oh man, it's terrible. Yep. And then he's gonna get as far as he can get, like, and then he's gonna cast as a bonus action Healing Word on Tatiana because now she's within range. Oh, Breland. Thank you. I'm gonna get my spells. That's pretty baller.

I'm gonna level with you. There it is. That was cool. That was so cool. Oh, and then, oh no, I can't use Song of Rest. Damn. Well, you know what, four will be good. Hey, every little bit will help. Thank you. And the rule that we all learned because of the stupid YouTube video about spellcasting, when you use a bonus action to cast a spell, you cannot cast a spell, anything higher than the camp rip as your main action. So I'm gonna use Vicious Mockery on this guy, the one that's in front of him. Dire Wolf 3. What's the range? 60 feet, totally in range. Wait, Dire Wolf 1 or 3?

Dire Wolf 3, not 1, because I can handle himself. Okay, Lark's got this. And he's gonna sing Who Let Dogs Out by the Bahamut. Wow. I just feel like, "Ooh, ooh, ooh." The stone part. He's gonna sing for the sake of everyone's ears. I'm gonna cast it. Yeah. That wolf is going to fail. So now, you will take 1d4 psyche damage and have disadvantage on the next attack roll before the end of its next turn. Oh, that's perfect. Good job. And here's the Dimash. Another 1. Not my knight. So after getting, like, brambled and then running through the field, he's like, "Ugh!" and throwing a healing word out.

He's gonna spin the lube around and sing Bahamut to Dire Wolf 3. I picture he's singing Bahamut as he does the platoon fall, like the... Who Let The Dogs Out! And that's my turn. Oh, man. I feel like I falsely promised you a good night and fun. No, this is a good night. This is okay. Okay. Alayna, you are up. Okay, so Dire Wolf 2 hit me, so I am going to hit him back with my longsword. Well, you're not. Uh... Not with a 13. Oh. Okay. Okay. Okay. So, like, how high is their AC, though? You know, I can't tell you that. Yeah, but I'm just, like, wondering, you know? [laughter] That's right up there where the listener's like, "Yeah, but you can tell me." Yeah.

Okay, so... I'm going to use Precision Attack. When you make a weapon attack roll against a creature, you can expend one Superior Arditi to add it to the roll. And I can use this maneuver before or after making the attack roll. Makes sense. Right. Okay. And mine are d8, so I'm going to roll a d8. Does 16 hit? That'll hit the wolf. Yay! 7 damage to Dire Wolf number 2. And that is going to be it for my turn. Alright. Kaladin, you are up. Alright. Kaladin is going to see these wolves knocking down Tatyana and rushing through this thing. And he's going to do his special beam cannon special on Dire Wolf 3 and Dire Wolf 1.

I'm going to spend some sorcery points to make a spell be extra quick and cast Magic Missile at 2nd level on both Dire Wolf 3 and Dire Wolf 1. So these are like the icicles we've seen Kaladin summon around him in sort of like a halo before and they go shooting out. So let's... boom, boom. That should do for 3, right? Uh, yes. Okay. And then 1 is going to get some of this good, good business. Alright, sweet. So Dire Wolf 3 is going to take 5 damage and Dire Wolf 1 is going to take 7 damage. Nice. And then I'm going to... so that spell is a bonus action because it's quickened up on my sorcery points.

So then he's going to cast a ray of frost and this is where we've seen icicles spiraling around like a blue and white glowing ray that just comes off of his finger. So he's going to shoot that at Dire Wolf 3. I think it's just a spell attack. Yep, let me see here. Boom. Oh, and he's blessed. Oh, and he's critted. Oh my god. And then everything happened. That is a crit! We roll on the crit table for that because you rolled a 5. Lucky as hell. The stress of battle has gotten to your target. If humanoid and challenge ratings at your level or lower, they suffer a massive heart attack and drop to 0 hit points on the spot.

Oh my god. Not humanoid. I don't think. Are they? If not, then you deal terrible damage in the form of half their current hit points. Holy shit. So this ray is going to hit him right on the snoot. Like right in the sensitive. You are booping the snoot in a big bad way. Do you need a rolling damage for that? Do the damage and then I'm going to do the thing. So you're fine. Oh right, right. So this is the base ray of frost damage. Okay, that's 5. Wait, hold on. It did it twice. Oh, because of crit. Okay, got it. That is going to kill the wolf with that and the heart attack thing.

So there's definitely some coronary stress and that wolf is now dead. Too much cholesterol. Oh, I'm not invisible anymore. The minute I cast the spell. Oh, okay. Yeah. Holy cow. That wolf goes flying into the bushes and Cauldron looks down at Tatiana and gives her a thumbs up. Oh man, that is bad ass. Larg, follow that. Larg is going to hit this wolf with a hammer. That's what he's going to do. Brutal but effective. Well, what he does is he, after it takes a snap at him and misses, he rears back, chokes up on the hammer so the head of the hammer is right under his fist and he punches it with the head of the hammer.

Oh, that's so cool. And so now I'm going to do this. That'll hit the wolf. And then we're going to do damage. A damage. And then we're going to also burn a spell slot to use the Divine Smite ability. That's my favorite paladin ability. Which allows me to use an extra 2d8 damage. Uh oh, uh oh. One and two. Max 8. So that's 12 extra damage. Holy shit. This wolf is on shaky legs. Right between the eyes. So I, it's like a fucking, you have a fist full of hammer and just deliver a Hadouken uppercut thing and just, just. Oh, that's badass. Okay. Larg, you're a t-shirt machine.

This is the Larg series. It should be like the silhouette of the Jordan Jumpman but on t-shirts. I was doing a Gold's Gem parody with Larg the other day. Anything else? Uh, that, you know what, he's actually going to step back five feet so he can get closer to these two. Daltana and Kaladin and protect them with his shield. Oh good. Hey Calli. Hi. What's up? Um, okay, so Calli is going to see Braylin up here in the middle of this spiky area and she's going to drop concentration on that. No. So that can go away. It's fine. Keep it up. No, I'm going to do something.

I can't hold concentration on two things anyways. Oh, okay. And then she's going to turn to this dire wolf that's right in front of her and she's going to invoke her flame blade and attack it. Alright. That'll hit. Yay. Okay. That bless, man. I know, right? Damage. Six damage to the wolf. What's your god, Larg? I forget. Arathis. Yeah, I'm going to go to the Church of Arathis. Praise Arathis. Arathis be praised. Yeah. Braylin's taking notes already. Ask Larg about when mass is held. This is it. You're in it. Oh, okay, cool. I'm confused about the bonus action thing. Can I, okay, so that was a level two.

Can I cast a level one as a bonus action now? No. No, cantrip. Cantrip. Okay, it has to be a cantrip. Okay, well, I don't have any healing cantrips, so I'm done, I guess. Alright. Tatiana, you are prone. I'm going to stand up. Okay. I think quickly she'd like look around as like a, oh my god, my team has totally got my back because holy shit. And I suppose she is going to try to attack, I guess Dire Wolf One is the closest, so that would make the most sense. Okay, let's attack that Dire Wolf One. That will hit. Huh, okay. That will kill the wolf. Woo. Nice. Very nice.

I picture just arrow strike right in the middle of the head. Yeah, and then she looks over at her shoulder and looks at Tamara with an evil, no I'm just kidding, she doesn't do that. No. Stressed ass. Anything else? I know, that's it. Tamara's turn. This, I would say, every couple of rounds this is a stressful enough situation that we're going to have to roll a stressed die. Ah, there's one. Okay. Thank god. That's the best possible outcome, guys. She's been through this before. She knows, I mean it's stressful, but she knows the beat. She's got this. She promised.

She said, "Hey, I'm going to keep this shit under control." Dire Wolf Four. Hi Dire Wolf Four. Let's see, what would Dire Wolf Four do? Dire Wolf Four is going to see that there is a straggler in your party. Oh no. I'm going to die. No. Now let's see which way he would go. That might not be good for Dire Wolf Four. Yeah. Perfect. No. So, Dire Wolf Four is going to close in on Tamara, smaller, by themselves, easier prey. And going to try to bite Tamara. That, that'll still hit. Oh man. No, Tamara, we should have bought you armor. Nine damage to Tamara. Stress die, two.

Okay. Dire Wolf Five. Dire Wolf Five is going to target Callie. Okay. And because we're within five feet of Dire Wolf Two, pack tactics has advantage on the bite attack. So good. That is a crit. Oh no. No. Concussion. This wolf is going to slam its jaw into Callie's skull. Your target is hit in the head causing massive damage. In addition to the standard critical damage, you give the enemy a concussion. The target is unconscious and must roll a con save with a DC of 12. On a failure, they roll a D4 and lose that much intelligence permanently. What? Oh my god. It's essentially simulating brain damage.

Well, joke's on you, I'm not that smart. I hate everything. I want to say, like, it's fucked up, but it's so cool. Like, that's just such a cool thing to, like, have built into mechanics, you know? Thank you. Rob would not agree. But like, it's super duper cool, dude. Like, super cool. I'm into it. There's a lot of crits in this particular day. Okay. We have to bleed those demons out of you. Ow, that was so many hit points. So, unconscious, I believe, means that Callie's just reduced to zero hit points, correct? Is that what that means? I believe that's how that works.

Can I just be fake sleeping? It will go into the negative, though, I think. Well, okay, here's what we're gonna do. Scrap that and just go to zero hit points and lay down. Um. [Laughter] Here's what we're gonna do. I need you to roll a... Okay, before you do this, everyone's rooting for you. Mm-hmm. I need you to roll a con saving throw. Okay. You were rooting for 12 or higher. 12 or higher, everyone. That was a nine. Ugh. Do me a favor and roll a D4. Even with that bless. I know. One. Okay. Oh, that's not bad. Just a little bit of brain damage. Just the tiniest bit of brain damage.

Just one brain. Just one. It's okay, my intelligence was only 11, so it's still the same modifier. Boom. We're gonna lower that to 10. I'm so sorry. That's so... Like, this wolf smacked you good. That's bad. It's okay. Okay. Well, if we get to town, you can just read a lot of books and get it back, right? That's how that works. That's how the... City guide. It could have been bad. You could have forgotten math. This could have been bad. I know what I'm gonna be putting points into soon. That would be so super cool though if Callie, like, pie smelled different or something.

You know what I mean? Die Wolf 2 is gonna target Elena and because it's next to Die Wolf No. 5, it's gonna get advantage. Good God, please don't crit. Here we go. Oh my God, that's gonna miss. Thank you. Okay. Okay, I have a thingy. Ooh, do it. So, I'm going to use repost when a creature misses you with a melee attack. Like, I'm assuming this is considered a melee attack, right? Yeah. You can use your reaction and spend one superiority die to make a melee weapon attack against the creature. Do it. Wait, let's see. If I hit, add the superiority die to the damage roll.

Okay. That'll hit. That will? Yeah. Oh my God. Okay. So... You said it so sad. Well, I was surprised. Okay, so I'm gonna do first just damage. Cool. And then add a D8 to it. Oh, max. Alright. So that's 13 in total. Gorgeous. Love it. Alright, done. And that will bring up Brailin. He's seeing all his teammates just get like ribs apart and he's just kinda bashing the head. And then like his heart drops. Like the moment where sound stops. And he's going to go one, two, three, four, five. I think because I have 25 movement speed, right? Yeah, damn. I wish I could move one more, but...

He's gonna give her a healing... What do I have? Healing Word because I can't reach her with Cure Wounds, I believe is a touch. So I can't do that. No, I can't do it. So Healing Word again. It's okay. Thank you. Wake up. Seven HP. So you go from zero to seven, right? Yes. Okay. And he's gonna look at the wolf that hit her. Vicious Mockery again. Love it. I use another little one. Sorry, I'm making the marks on my page. Vicious Mockery. He's succeeded. Wolf will succeed. Yeah, but I think he still takes Demaj. No. Nothing? Nope. Nothing. If you save it in range, he can hear you.

If he's able to take one D and have disadvantage. Yep, nothing. So he just sings and it... I guess just from the panic of seeing her fall to the ground, he's just like... He's just playing his guitar and the lute incorrectly. Like, there's the wrong strings. The wolf does that thing where it cocks its head. Yeah, but it's not cute though because he's a fucking direwolf. Ah, that's it. Because it's heads the size of Breland's body. Alayna, you are up. Okay, I'm going to attack the direwolf. Direwolf 2. Good luck. Oh, that's gonna miss. That's a 9. Let's see. When do you get action surges back?

Is it after a long rest only or do you get it back after a short rest? Well, you've done neither. But I believe it's after a longer short rest. I'm telling you for the future. Oh, I... Hold on. You must finish a shorter long rest before you can use it again. Okay. Then I'm gonna use my action surge. Actually... Never mind. I'm gonna use my action surge and attack it again. Okay, going after the wolf. Oh, that's one better. Cool. So sorry. That is a 10. That's gonna miss. How does inspiration work? Do you still have yours? Yeah. It would give you advantage, but I think you have to declare it first before you use it.

Okay, that's fine. I just... I had no clue. Okay, then I'm done. If you want to use your inspiration, I will let you. Unless we have a really nice DM. What a saint. I mean, third time's a charm, right? Good luck. You got this shit. Okay. 15 will hit. Nice. And that'll use your inspiration. 11 damage will kill the wolf! Yeah, there we go. Very nice. Very, very nice. Okay. That'll bring up Kaladin. That was rad, and it totally changed everything I was gonna do. Which is great. So Kali is conscious, right? You're up and everything? On the ground by Kaladin. Yeah. Okay, yeah.

Okay, so on the ground, Kaladin is just gonna fire off some icicles again. Two into Dire Wolf 5, and one into Dire Wolf 4 over by Tamara. Okay. Alright, got him, right? Cool. Yes. Dire Wolf number 5, you got him locked and loaded. That is 6 damage to Dire Wolf number 5. And then we're gonna shoot an icicle. Bang! 2 damage to Dire Wolf number 4. Yeah, and that'll be his turn. He just like, holds out his hand and sweeps it across over Kali. Like firing two of these icicles that explode against this Dire Wolf. And then, with a continued motion, just swings his hand around behind him.

And without even looking, fires one off at Dire Wolf 4 and hits. And then he looks at Brelyn and blows his fingers off like he's shooting a gun. Brelyn's gonna look all tired and like, "That's my thing." I look cool, huh? Not very vigorously. Larg, you are up. Well, Larg was gonna charg, but he's not. He's gonna just go here. And he's gonna basically like referee slide in front of Rose and then swing at this wolf with his hammer. Nice. And then we're gonna not minimize our combat window. Do we get advantage on this? You know what? Yeah, let's count Tamara as a combatant.

So, yes. I'd say Larg gets advantage. Get advantage? Okay. Yeah. I mean, I'll take it. Wow. And we'll do nothing with it. You drop the 2 to take a 5, that's a 10, that will miss. Alright, he will look apologetic and do nothing. He did do a cool slide trying to hit, though. That's true. I imagine it kicks up dust in that gotten large way. Yes, exactly. Try the power slide. Callie, you are up. Well, I mean, you're down, but I mean, you can stand up. Okay, so if I move like back one space, I do provoke, right? No, the way we've done it so far, no. Okay. Okay. So, she, so Callie's gonna like scramble up and back one step.

Okay. And then she's gonna cast Cure Wounds on herself. 'Cause I hurt a little bit. Aww, 12, wow, max healing, awesome. Thank God. Ooh, baby. And that's all I can do. Tatiana. Sorry. Don't be sorry. Tatiana is gonna try to fire her arrow at this wolf guy. This is the musical episode of DNR. I didn't know if anyone else was aware. Oh, I didn't know that. Yeah. I wasn't prepared. Dire Wolf number 5. That will just hit Dire Wolf number 5. Woo. That blessed it. Thank you, bless. Thank you, bless so much. Larg's awesome. It's part of every balanced combat. Seven damage to Dire Wolf number 5.

I... Hmm. Tiberius is not gonna do anything. Dire Wolf number 4 is going to target Larg now. 'Cause Larg's made a spectacle of himself. That's what he does. Oh, that's so gonna miss. Dire Wolf number 5. Would he pursue Callie? Yep. He is going to move forward, target Callie, and roll an 18. That will hit. Okay. That is 10 damage to Callie. Oh, thank God I heal myself. Oh, sorry. No, it's okay. Raylan. Okay. I'm gonna move here. That's fine, yes? Uh, yeah, that's fine. Go ahead. So, healing word on Callie again. I'm sorry. No, it's fine. It's fine. This is my mess and we're cleaning it up.

Together. Cleaning it up together. Even Tamara, until she transforms. Let's give it a little heal up there. I am out of level 1 spell slots. So, Raylan just casts another heal. Surge has come out of his instrument into Callie and then he's gonna switch into Thunderclap. No one's within 5 feet of me, right? No. Perfect. Well, the wolf. Good. Here's your saving throw, asshole. Oh, so failed that. Fantastic. That's a 4. So, it's 1d6 Thunder damage. That's 4 damage. And bonus stuff. If he fails, 1d6 Thunder damage. I think it's pushback, but I didn't write it down. So...

What is it? Thunderwave? Thunderclap. I have it on there. Yeah, you changed the name too. Oh, it's just the damage. Okay, cool. Well, then I just do the power chord. And that's it for me. Beautiful. That'll bring up Elena again. Okay. I'm going to go here and hit the Dire Wolf. And this is advantage? Yes, you have advantage. Okay. I never can tell. That will hit the wolf. Perfect. 12 damage. Max damage to the wolf. 12. Okay, and that's it. Calvin, you're up. You're an extra wolf. I know. This is the closest. Calvin does not like this. This is not his wheelhouse. I think...

Let's see, getting up close and personal with this wolf. I think what he's going to do is summon an icicle like you might see a magic missile, but then he's just going to grab it with his hand and try and stab it into this wolf's neck. Let's do it. Yeah, let me see if I got him. You got advantage. And then we're just going to... Nope. There we go. That was a shitload of die. Thank you, Bless. 15 damage will hit the wolf. Bless. He kisses his hand to, I guess, Larg? He doesn't really know Arathis, so... All right, boom. Larg blushes. Wow. Okay. You are going to materialize an ice pick, essentially, in your hand, and you are going to shank this wolf in the throat, pull out this blood-covered ice, and Red Liquid is just going to pour out of this wolf, and he will fall down dead.

And Colton breathes a huge sigh of relief. I would also imagine that Colton is just covered in blood, like it's just like a popping of water balloon almost. Yeah, yeah. It's like he hit an artery, and he doesn't stab things usually, so he's like, "Ah, bicycle!" And it sticks in. He's just like... Yeah. I got scared. I'm sorry. One of those ink things when you steal stuff, or like on money, it just like... Right in his face. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, Larg. Ooh. You are up. I'm gonna... So, instead of choking way up on the head of the hammer this time, he loosens his grip till it goes to the full... to the end of the handle, and he swings it so wide that the handle drags across the ground for a second, and then he hits the guy with the thing.

A 14 will hit. All right, we're going to burn another Holy Smite, or whatever it's called, Divine Smite. We're going to burn another 14 to the wolf so far. And then we're going to do that. And then we're going to do that. Holy shit! Ooh! Did you just get to keep rolling dice? Just dump out the dice bag on the table. It's D8, another one. You know what? I got extra. So, whenever the Divine Smite goes off, it's like the head of his hammer basically detonates against the surface of the wolf. It's like a second hit. Oh, that's so cool. There's like a double tap. That's badass.

Anything else? He's going to look at Rose and Wink. Hey, Callie. Hi. You are up. I think I'm going to do my Produce Flames cantrip and shoot some fire at this wolf. Over down to cantrips. I mean, not really, but... Go! Go ahead. Max damage. Oh, wait. Hold on. That's not right. Can you take that back? I forgot to attack. Oh, well that's... Oh yeah, that's important. My bad. Let's go back. Okay. Let's forget that all happened. Advantage. Oh, with advantage. That'll hit. Well, yeah. Do it one more time just in case it's a crit. You never know. But you did hit it. Okay. And then I guess 8 damage.

We'll just keep the original roll. Oh, we will? Okay. Do you want me to roll again? No, no, no. You're fine. Okay. [Laughter] Why don't you roll 80 d8s like Largest did. [Laughter] Those have a cost. There's a cost for those. [Laughter] Hey Tatiana! Hey! You up. Okay, so Tatiana with advantage is going to try to shoot it with her bow. Let me see really quickly. You have advantage. Yes. Okay. I was reading something. Oh, that'll hit. 25 will hit. Cool. So I'm going to damage it and then I'm going to use my sneak attack thingy because he's busy with Larg. That -- holy shit.

That'll kill the wolf. Do it anyways. Do it anyways. Do it. Do it. Do it. Hit it again. It's fine. Wow. Well, I mean -- That's not great. You can do it once, but I mean you definitely, definitely kill that wolf. Tamara is going to fall backward after this wolf. Like just kind of -- I imagine it pitches and just goes like -- just rolls next to her and she's just going to fall backward. Dagger's still like out kind of trembling a bit. Can Larg try to catch her? Yeah, go right ahead. Give me a Dex check. Dex check. Yeah. Hey. Holy shit. He's going to catch her like in a romance movie.

Oh, yeah. Dude, this is suave as shit. Larg, don't fall in love with monsters, Larg. So what's going to happen is he's going to catch her and then his hands are going to glow and he's going to use land hands in a very smooth way. That's so suave. Yes. Oh, my God. I hate everything. This is wonderful. We all just got pregnant. Yeah. So check this out. I have to roll one more of these stress rolls, but I'm going to do so with disadvantage this time because that was so suave. Nice. One. Larg charm. Okay. That is very much appreciated. You could tell that she's still very tense and just like not like just like breathing heavily and kind of trembling a little bit and just this is all very, very stressful.

And she's purposefully like breathing in and out, just trying to calm herself down. He's kind of breathing with her, like when you're helping a pregnant woman who's in labor. Like kind of like, yeah, yeah. That's not realistic. I stayed away from my wife when she was in labor. What would everyone's reaction to all this be? What would how would everyone feeling after this? Berlin would just be staring at Kelly and Tatiana and like waiting for them to like see him and he's going to mouth like, I'm sorry, but you can't get the words out because like he's still fucked up from the brambles.

Kelly's head hurts a lot, guys. Oh, my God. Yeah. So she's going to kind of like because Caledon's right next there. So she's going to like grab his shoulder and like ease herself down on the ground. Because I imagine things are might be spinning a little bit. Hey, Kelly, could you do me a favor? Give me a con save? Hey. Okay. Kelly's going to fight the urge to vomit, but but keep it down. Cool. Perfect. Kelly's going to try and oh, sorry, go ahead. Oh, no, I was going to say maybe like a little like a little gagging movement, but nothing comes up. Kelly's going to try and like he feels that her weight and he's going to try and like help, but he's got blood all in his face.

So he's just kind of like doing it blind. And he's like, he's got it. He's like he's got one arm. So he's like he's like trying to wipe the blood out of his out of his face. And I'm on your stump side. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And you're like leaning, but he's like trying to like help. It's just very awkward. Tatiana is going to go around and pick up her arrows. And as she's doing so, like, obviously it looks as though she is in pain. And I believe this is the first time Tatiana has taken damage in the new arc. So like, yeah. So she's like hurting. Hey, Tatiana and Braylin, give me a perception check, please.

Oh, finally. Oh, my gosh. Not as great. Well, Braylin might be overcome with grief right now. You see more wolves? No, no, no. But Tatiana is going to see something in the distance. It looks like it looks like a mauled corpse. It looks like a little campsite, actually. But that's not the important thing that Tatiana sees. Tatiana is going to see possessions scattered around this body. Without saying anything to anybody, Tatiana is going to walk over and look for some gold. She broke. We all broke. Boy, Tatiana is going to find some stuff. Tatiana is going to find 300 gold.

Tatiana is also going to find two enchanted weapons. OK, but like slow down because I'm going to come. Come to the conclusion that this is a good time. This is a family podcast. 300 gold. You are going to find a vicious quarterstaff and a vicious shortbow. You could tell that these things are just there's something about the construction of them. They're a little gilded, a little like that. There's little things etched in them. Like these are not common everyday shit that you just go pick up in a shop. Like care and attention was put into this. This person probably should not have slept in this particular portion alone and just got got.

For this mauled corpse that's over here, was it a human? You can't even tell. OK, I was just curious. Yeah, it's just all guts. Well, I think she would obviously like pick up the gold and she'll pick up the shortbow and as she's like looking at it, she'll call to the group and be like, hey, over here, it looks like it looks like somebody was camping here. Ralyn's still looking at the ground. It's still in shock. Elena will come over. Tatiana would sort of like just like point at the this campsite that's here in this poor dead body. Colon will call out any evidence of any survivors.

It doesn't look like it. Unfortunate. So this guy was like completely on his own. That's what it looks like. Is this another one of Decky's friends? What the fuck? Anything useful, Tatiana? She'll pass the shortbow over to him to like so he can look at it and she'll pick up the staff and be like, they've got these two weapons just literally laying here on the ground. Well, I suppose it's something we can make use of. Kali, are you all right? I think I just need a few minutes to rest. I think I'll be OK. And he'll take a look just a once over at everyone and make sure everyone's kind of like, OK, and say, yeah, let's let's catch our breath.

See what we can see what we can take and and move on quickly. So after after maybe like a couple of moments too long with withholding Rose and letting her catch her breath, he'll kind of like awkwardly like stand her back up and kind of like smooth his tabard out with his hands. And then he'll go over and help and do land hands with Kali. Oh, I just need my hit dice. Oh, OK. I think we're going to take a short rest. Don't waste your spell slot. He puts his hands on his head and does land hands. Did we do land hands to Tamara? Yeah, she's she should have nine hit points back.

Yeah, that's smooth ass move. Remember? Oh, there we go. And remember the move that made us all come? We all came. Remember that? The weapons, depending on what you're into. Guys. I think that's a good time for us to stop for the evening. What a misadventure. I was so sorry. That is not where I expected this evening to go again. We're never leaving these woods. You got to get the fuck out of these woods. We live here. We live in the woods now. Meanwhile, on the 16th of yester in the city of Esterhold, a gruff looking man coated in silver shimmering armor walks into an expensive reading room where a lone woman sits in a comfortable chair near a crackling fire.

The room is very well decorated, though amidst the statuettes and framed paintings, one could see a theme. An affinity for dragons. "Ms. Wheelhorn," the man says in a low whisper, "we've found the object you were looking for. It's in the town of Aubrey." The man stands at attention, clearly showing respect to the woman in the comfortable chair. You're sure of this? There can be no doubt. Yes, ma'am. We've made quite certain. Zinek will be most pleased. I want yourself and a grouping of your finest men to head north right away, tonight. Do whatever it takes.

You understand? Yes, ma'am. Speak with no one else of this. If you can get the parcel back to us, we'll be on our way to correcting a grave mistake. Good luck, Tanner. The man nods, and makes his way out of the room and down the long hallway to gather his people. Good lord, we hope you enjoyed today's episode.
