Previously for group B, on the group's way back to Durn Hollow to see if someone might be able to assist in resurrecting Larg, a recently forgetful Brelyn woke up from a drug trip, attacked the group, and ran off into the woods. With Kalton giving chase, the rest of the group struggled to get the cart back under control. Streaking into town and injuring a lone child, Callie managed to dive off the cart and save him. With Ellen finding out that Larg had died, she ran to his location and attempted to resurrect him.

And that's where we're picking things up today. Uh, let's do that thing where we go around the table and introduce ourselves. I'm Jason. I'm the Dungeon Master going around the table, starting with Jameson. Hi, this is Jameson. I play Larg. [LAUGHTER] I'm Ron Burgundy. [LAUGHTER] And Karen. Hi, I'm Karen. I play Callie the elven druid. And Jamie. Hi there. I'm Jamie. I play Tatiana, the human rogue. And Valerie. Hello, I'm Valerie, and I play Elena, the human fighter. And Ian. Be well. I'm Ian. I play Kalden Halek, the half-elf sorcerer. [LAUGHTER] And Alex. Hey, I'm Alex.

I play Brelyn, the halfling bard. Guys, if you don't listen to the behind the scenes, you really should, because you learn a lot about people. This behind the scenes is a good-- It's a good-- yeah, I don't even know how this is going to be divided. So through the magic of podcasting, it's been a week or two since you last heard from group B. For us, it's been minutes. And it's been a roller coaster, I'm going to be honest. I don't need to give you a recap. You guys know what happened. But I'm going to give you a choice. Now, last time, we rolled to see what Larg's defect is going to be.

Now, we can handle that out of the gate, or we can kind of get to that a little later and just sort of deal with the ramifications of everything that happened at the end of the last session. Up to you guys. I think we got to know, right? Up to you, Jameson. Yeah, please tell me. OK. Now, before I read this to you, I want you to know that it is up to interpretation. How Larg would internalize this and deal with it is up to you. Are you ready? I'm less ready now, but sure. OK. Causing pain to others makes me feel alive and powerful. I will always advocate torture.

OK. So that is now just something about Larg. Wow. We got Larg Noir, an awakening. Now, there's also some other things that you and I talked about in the ensuing weeks and months that Larg's been dead. But we can get to that a little later. But all that is in effect. OK. What would be the first thing Larg do? Do? Wow, hold on. What Larg do? You said it right. I don't think you have a problem. Yeah. [LAUGHTER] What? I need more vodka. He big boy. He's strong. He like torture now. [LAUGHTER] When did Ugo join the group? [LAUGHTER] Cam, what would be the first thing that Larg would do upon waking up?

I think he would kind of do that sudden gasp for air and then take a minute. And then his eyes would just kind of flutter open a little bit. And he would just kind of look to both sides. And who would be around him? Well, I think Braylin's hanging out. Kalin's there. It's me, Callie, Kaldin, and-- well, Ellen got downed. Kaldin would be holding Ellen there. But she looks out, right? Yeah, so the first thing Larg would probably see would be Ellen's eyes flutter closed and then fall backward. And Kaldin would be there. Yes, I think he would kind of like-- almost as she falls back, he would kind of sit forward and go, oh, no.

And he would try to help catch her along with Kaldin. And then he would kind of take another second and look around and just look real confused and just look at Kaldin and go, what's going on? Larg, you're back. Ellen, give her some room. Give her some room. And Kaldin is going to lay Ellen down gently on the road. And everything is happening now. So he just does a real quick check, like a pulse thing to see if she is alive and still breathing. Let's catch up with Tatiana and Elena. Go straight to hell. [LAUGHTER] You're kind of a douche. [LAUGHTER] So, god, Tatiana and Elena are riding with the Sheriff, I would presume, unless you would reject the ride.

No. No. Yeah, no. I was about to say, it didn't sound like it. There would be a moment's pause when you got back to town, where the Sheriff would probably check in on Vernon and then just kind of ask, where did that woman go? All that stuff. And then they'd be pointed down the road. Sheriff would then take off down the road toward Bralyn, Kaldin, Larg, and Callie. Does that mean we know that Vernon is OK then? Yes. OK. But I would imagine it would be a very tense ride back. You know what I mean? And then you'd find out it's like, he's fine. It's fine. But would you accompany her down the road?

Oh, yeah, definitely. Yeah. Right. But I would think we were glued to her right now. OK. I would say you would be rolling up on them just as Larg wakes up. So you'd be there just in time for Larg to ask what's going on and all that stuff. And Ellen is going to let out one final breath and slip away just as Kaldin is checking her pulse. Kaldin, he looks up at Callie and shakes his head and crosses her, just puts her arms on her chest. And then he's just kneeling there and is at a loss for words. And he's just looking at Larg. It's unbelievable. Larg shoves Kaldin out of the way and casts Cure Wounds on Ellen.

That'll obviously have no effect, but I would imagine there'd be that moment where you're maybe hoping she takes in a breath or there'd be some change in her condition. But there wouldn't be. He casts it again. And that would be the same thing. What would everyone else be thinking in the moment? Well, I think as they ride up to the scene, Tatiana will jump off of the horse and hobble her way over towards the group and is just standing there watching Larg try to heal Ellen, sort of speechless. She did everything to bring you back, Larg. We lost you, and we rode here as fast as we could to try and get you help.

And she did everything to bring you back. So he's going to grab Kaldin by the sort of collar of his shirt and sort of stand up with him. What did she do? What did you let her do? She used her magic to resurrect you. We didn't have any other way. And as they stand, he's going to kind of keep lifting Kaldin until his feet are off the ground. Why? Why would you let her? We wanted you back, and she wanted to do it. She wanted to bring you back. I'm going to roll and see if I'm going to do something. Evens I do it, odds I don't. OK. He kind of does that thing where he's gritting his teeth so hard that you can kind of hear them kind of grind a little bit.

And then he sort of lets go and drops him. And then kind of just falls backward and sits down. After like a minute of silence, he just kind of covers his face with his hands. Kaldin stands up and brushes himself off. And he says, we've all had a really terrible night. A terrible night. Let's bring her body back into town. And he's going to look at Tatiana and Elena and say, where's the cart? They share a glance. Yeah. The cart is-- it's gone. Like it rode off? Like it went off a cliff? Got obliterated. Completely obliterated. I'm just happy you guys are all OK.

I thought you were still in there. Kaldin will take like a sharp breath. And he's just like, ah. OK. Somebody help me with their body. Let's get it on the horse. Who are you? And he points to the tiefling woman, right? Yes. OK. Well, obviously, this is a lot to take in. And I think there'd be a bit of silence out of respect because it's a terrible situation to walk into. But she'd reach her hand out and say, Laren, Durnhollow sheriff. Laren, I'm sorry we have to meet under these circumstances. But we need your help to get Ellen off the road. I don't need anybody's help.

And he stands up and he picks up her body. And he starts walking toward the temple. Oh, boy. I imagine it's that awkward, like everyone wants to do something. But what do you do? Like you can't fix that. Brelyn doesn't want to do anything. Well, yes. But-- well, OK. Let's zoom forward a bit. Let's say it's about 1.30 in the morning here in Durnhollow. There are a few more people on the street than there were previously. And Laren would probably disperse any crowd that would start to gather around you guys as you come into town because you just don't need more eyes on you.

And let's say you got back to the temple here. Yeah, so he's basically going to just boot the door open. And then wherever there is a spot to lay her down, he'll do that. So yeah, there'd probably be like a table, something like that. The Durnhollow temple is not as nice as the Aubrey one, obviously. But it keeps the elements off. It's a decent-sized building. Was Ellen in her-- any kind of official vestments or anything like that? Or was she basically in her pajamas? God, I would imagine this is a thing where probably tattered, something like that, not full armor, but probably still wearing clothes and things.

It was just late at night enough that it wasn't time to turn in. But maybe she was keeping late hours. Yeah, he's just going to be going through a ritual on his own to muttering under his breath and doing last rites very privately. If anybody comes in or is watching or anything, he doesn't pay any attention to them. What would the rest of the group be doing? Would they have followed Larg there? Yeah, I think-- or I think Cauldron would. Does it seem-- I mean, it seems like Larg is not talking to anyone, right? Is that right, Jameson? Yeah, I mean, from the moment the Sheriff showed up, he kind of just took his ball and went home.

Gotcha. OK. Yeah, Cauldron will be standing in the door watching this. And he sees him doing this ritual and stuff. And is there someone-- is there someone else in the temple, like an acolyte or something around, just like-- Honestly, there were probably a couple of people asleep, something like that. So there'd be a couple of people who keep watch over the temple. But it's not-- again, not as busy as the Aubrey one. It's, yeah, not as full as the Donhurst one used to be. So it's definitely small town temple. He'll grab just the closest person and say to them, he's going to need some time alone.

Don't let anyone bother him. And when he's done, we'll be at the end. Just let him know that that's where we are and that we really want to see him again. And this person will just-- of course. And I'll give him a nod. And then we'll head-- Cauldron will head to the inn. What's the name of the inn in Durn Hollow? Oh, you're asking me? Yes, sorry. I'm an idiot. Sorry. Is this the Honest Harlot? I mean, the Honest Harlot would probably be the best place to stay. That's the one we were at before, right? Yeah. Cool. Let's not go to the one that we tried to loot, maybe.

Oh, is that the one we went to? I'm confused. That's the one you tried to rob. Cherry Blossom Heaven is the one you tried to rob. OK, we'll go to that one. Good call. Oh, boy, howdy. You know what? Here's something we're going to do. As you're walking to the Honest Harlot, everybody who's not Larg, do me a favor. Give me a Perception check. Let's see what you're taking in around town. What's the vibe in Durn Hollow right now? Oh, my god. We're probably pretty noticeable here. Today, Karen, you have rolled two crit ones and two crit successes. Yeah. You're really all over the place today.

Go big or go home. So, oh, man, what a clusterfuck of a day. You guys are sore and just emotionally spent. There are obviously more people on the streets than what would normally be in a town like Durn Hollow at this time of night. But it's almost like the scene of an accident, where people are just hanging out. Mostly, they're talking about Vernon and everything that happened there. I don't imagine that this would be a thing that would escape your ears, like specifically Elena and Brelin. Tatiana would pick up some of it. You're just going to hear people talk about, like, oh, that car came out of nowhere and all that stuff.

You're also going to see an individual standing on a balcony, tiefling gentleman, wearing a bowler hat and smoking a cigar. And he's going to be watching your group the entire time you're walking through town. And to the honest harlot. Do I recognize-- do any of us recognize this gentleman? This would be Titus Crane, "Elmen Who Runs Cherry Blossom Heaven." You don't say. I do say. So are you checking in to the honest harlot? You're getting a room? Brelin goes-- Brelin goes in front of everybody. I got this. Don't worry, guys. [LAUGHTER] He walks up to the counter.

Hi, my name's Brelin Galway. I need a room for me and my friends. And he reaches in to his gold pouch, and then, like, he becomes completely white, and he stops. Like, he's frozen. I need a room for myself. [LAUGHTER] There's got to be a gruff-looking man behind the counter. Great, you're back. Look, we don't need a player, but I can give you a room, all right? Oh, I'm back. I've been here before. The guy's going to, like, tilt his head a bit. Yeah. Hmm. Brelin turns around and looks like Cauldin. Oh, I've been here before. We've been here before. Cauldin nods. [LAUGHTER] OK.

I would imagine the whole group is here. I'm-- you know what? Let's debate. I'm debating here. What would this guy say? OK. [SIGHS] Get ready, Alex. I love you. Yeah, go for it. [LAUGHTER] Yeah, of course you were here. You're the worst bard I've ever seen. [GASPS] You hear an audible, like, string pluck somewhere in the distance, far, far away. [LAUGHTER] Just the room, please. Oh. And he would take your gold and slide a key over. I don't have a lot of gold, so I'm hoping it's pretty cheap. Well, how much gold do you have? How much gold is room before we fill this-- [LAUGHTER] We're probably talking, like, five gold for the night.

Perfect. I have zero as of tonight. God. I like. Myself. Oh, my god. Painful. And he'll turn to the rest of the group. Can I help you folks with anything? I think we need a place to stay. How many rooms? Cullen, I'll look back at everyone and be like, the biggest one you have for all of us? My-- The luxury suite. No, no, no, no, no, no. I think maybe something in a silver budget. Maybe copper. I probably squint his eyes at you. 10 gold. You going to be wanting company? No, but food and drink. And for my friend here as well. And he'll gesture over to Braylin. You'll be very surprised.

So he'd slide a key over to you and take your gold. It'd be like 13 with food and drink. He like gestures to Callie, who has all the party's gold now. Callie will hand you-- if you give her a little sack or whatever, she'd give it back to you. Well, you can hang onto it, that doesn't matter. How much was it? Oh, shit. Was it like 40? 40 gold. Yeah. OK. It says I have 40 gold too. You have some that we don't know about, I thought. I think I do. OK, sorry. Well, this is from the bodies-- this is from the assassins, so the 40-- Oh, that one. Yeah, yeah, yeah. OK, so she would just pay.

OK. And he'd slide a key over. Your food will be up in a few minutes. Thank you. So you guys got rooms now. I assume you're all going to take a load off. Yeah, Braylin goes to his separate room. Yeah, as we go to our rooms, Elena's going to sort of move over to Callie and say, why does Braylin have a separate room? I'm-- I feel like there probably wasn't enough conversation to know exactly what's going on. Oh, god, no. So Callie will probably be like, I'm not sure exactly what's going on, but there is something wrong with him, I think. What do you mean, wrong?

I think maybe the drug messed with him a little bit. Elena is going to deadpan and say, you mean the drugs did this? You're fucking kidding me, right? I don't know for sure. I don't-- I was-- everything's been happening so quickly. I-- I'm just guessing. But it's a possibility. OK. Thank you for letting me know. I'm going to have to talk to Keldon at some point in the future. Thanks. And she's going to sort of fake smile and walk away. Is this an aside conversation? I mean, not like super quiet. Like, if you were by us and-- yeah, you would hear it. She's not ready to talk to you, though.

Gotcha. [LAUGHTER] Keldon will-- Keldon-- yeah, as we go up to the rooms, Keldon will look at Elena and be like-- be like, Elena, you can-- you will have your I told you so moment, and it will be glorious. But are you OK? Are we all OK? You look awful. I'm sure my day has not been the worst out of all of us. I will deal with you tomorrow. But for now, I would really like to get some rest. So-- Yeah, I think we could all use that. Braelon seems to have lost his memory from a long-- a long bout of it. What, you mean like a couple weeks? Like, he doesn't remember us meeting, which is well over two years ago.

He doesn't remember any of you. He doesn't remember why we were headed to Durnhollow, or Esterhalt, or Larg, or anything. Or common courtesy when using a spell within close range. Thank you. She's going to dart her eyes over to Braelon. Or Braelon's room. So there's that as well. Yeah, I think it has something to do with the-- with the Tapoor. But I don't-- I don't know, Callie, Tatiana, have you ever had anything like this? I mean, I know there was side effects, but-- Callie's just going to like be shaking their head and just-- nothing like this has happened to me before, but it can really mess with someone's head.

And I don't-- I don't know, it's totally a possibility. How long does it last? When-- when will he regain his memory? Jason, would it be like knowledge that sometimes like when someone's brain gets messed with, like it's temporary? I mean, I-- I mean, would it really be a matter of when? It could be in a matter of if. That's what I think it would be. Because I think there would be some people in history that have made out worse. There are people who wake up thinking they're ducks or just run off screaming into the woods or something like that. Let me ask this.

Cold in'll follow up, can we fix it by magic, herbal, or some other means? [GASPS] Callie. Yeah. Give me a nature check. Cool. Me. Oh my god, thank you. There she is. Good stuff. That's a 19. I'm in some America. I'm doing the Queen wave. Why yes, there is. Oh god. There's a potion you could brew to help. OK. However, the herbs-- You need blood root. No, no, no. The herbs you need for this, well, they could be tough to acquire. You would need a low tassel and bull moss, both of which can be found in some deeper, darker caverns. Let me ask a question. So Callie is the person who usually goes out hunting and scouts around and stuff like that.

Do you think that would be something Callie would do is kind of mark local areas, kind of take in the region? Or would it just be like, I go to these places when we need to go there? I think it's definitely probably the second one, at least, outside of the Evergreen. OK. So Callie would know what you need, not exactly where you could get it around here. OK. Oh my god. Literally another potion. Unless that we're never going to get to. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry, Karen. This is like your living nightmare. Yet another side quest you picked up in Red Dead Redemption 2.

I've just been riding this horse for three hours. I just got to shoot somebody. So Callie would probably tell the group. Don't know if it's temporary or permanent. It kind of varies case by case. I do know of a potion, but it's-- these ingredients are almost as hard to get as the ingredients for your arm. Of course they are. Of course they are. If we were closer to my home, I could probably find them fairly easy, but we would need to ask around. OK, well, we didn't thoroughly explore that when we were here briefly, so maybe we'll find some. Who knows? I think we need to figure out some of our priorities.

Can sleep be one of them? Because I'm kind of tired. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, of course, of course. Let's try and talk in the morning. I'll take my tongue lashing from Elena, and I don't know-- we need to get Larg right. I don't know how to do that yet. And I don't know if you noticed, but we've made friends. And he'll look at Tatiana and give her like a knowing little look. Tatiana probably honestly would not pick up on it. She's exhausted. [LAUGHS] Right. Should we keep an eye on Braylon? What if he tries to leave in the middle of the night? Well, it is the middle of the night, but-- I think Braylon trusts us enough to not run away, I don't think.

He's got his journal that he found, and he's read enough to at least verify the things that I was telling him. But yeah, we're going to have to deal with that too. OK. And as we all head to bed, the sun rises, and the day begins. And we all snuggle up in a big pile, a bunch of little broken puppies. Oh, I'm so broken. Hey, how about I give you guys an extended rest? How about that? Oh my god, what is that? I haven't had one of those ever. What does it do? Oh, you mean the show on Friday where we talk about-- Yes! Yeah, it sounds great. Boom. Everybody gets a long rest.

Feels so good. Look at all these spell slots. [LAUGHTER] So I got to ask a question. Everyone else here went to sleep for the night. Did Larg ever go to bed? Well, I guess the question is, how awake do you feel after having been resurrected? Jeez. To say that you've had a rough day is an understatement. Right. Larg has a super long extended rest. I think he should get the benefits for being asleep, like really asleep. Yeah, usually the burden of resurrection falls on the caster. Like, the worst thing that can happen to you has happened already. So I would say that you probably feel a bit disconnected and a little disjointed, but you're not exhausted.

OK. Yeah, he probably would have been up into the late hours, but he would have eventually just gone to sleep sort of in whatever room he had performed all the rituals in. OK. So I imagine there's a bench or something where Larg would just kind of pass out against a wall eventually? Yeah, pretty much just sitting propped up against something. OK. So eventually, I'd say probably around noonish, everyone's going to wake up. I don't even know where you would begin, but what's the first thing you guys want to do? You feel a bit more rested? You're safe in town?

Think of Breland would wake up early to go downstairs to the mean man and at first, like try and have a discussion with him. When you say I'm the worst, what do you mean? That kind of thing. Just kind of get a feel for it. And after getting frustrated, he'll probably just be like, look, I need money, so I need a job. Well, OK. So that guy's shift would be pretty much over. So it would be a thing where he's like, quit bothering me, that type of thing. It's like, you sucked. He would probably be a little more gruff. Now, there's a lady named Cessba who is a drow female who would be much more kind.

Oh, or Breland has met Cessba, but this Breland doesn't remember her. Yes. So she would probably approach Breland after a while. Like after the third, like, get away from me type of thing, she would kind of approach Breland and try to smooth over the situation. He would just tell her, like, I need a job. I'll wash dishes. I'll even just play lounge music. I just need work for money. I think she would pretty much know that you guys have had a rough time. So it would be, sure, honey, let's-- maybe you could play some music for a while. You got it, pretty lady.

And he's going to give her finger guns. What about the rest of you guys waking up in your puppy pile? We wiggle out, our tails wagging. I mean, I think Tatiana would firstly just want to eat, like, everything available to her. Yeah, and there'd probably still be leftovers from last night where they just brought you up an assortment of things to eat. But you definitely smell things cooking downstairs. If you do go downstairs, there would be a party-type atmosphere, because one, it's noonish. It's not early morning. And the Honest Harlot is a place where you go and catch up with the regulars and have yourself some fun.

So you definitely hear music playing, and there'd be girls and stuff about. If that's what you're into, there'd also be boys about. Can you say men, though? Because I'll feel less uncomfortable if you say that. No, they're all 11. No, why? They're all rosy-cheeked youths. Yeah. They're there to learn. Oh my god. I hate you. In the world's worst internship program. It's take your kid to work day, is what it is. Worst book ever. I'm sorry. There are men about. Better, thank you. OK. Did that voice help? Sure. OK. It did it for me, so I'm good. OK, good. Thank you. Let's have you guys get a bite to eat and stuff.

Would you be talking about anything? Like, what's the plan, I guess, I'm asking? I think rather than staying for breakfast, Kelly is going to grab some bread and some fruit, and then she's going to go find a nice quiet place to meditate. OK. Because she got some thinking to do. I think after briefly stuffing her face with whatever is available, Tatiana also doesn't really want to talk because she's kind of pissed. So she's just going to sort of take her breakfast and go about town. Like, I just need a second. I need to clear my head. I'm very angry with the situations that have unfolded, and I don't want to say anything that's going to make things worse.

So I'm going to go for a walk. I'm assuming Cauldron knows about the kid. I would imagine yes. Cauldron's going to go and check on the boy and just see how he is. Uh, he's fine. His parents, adopted, are distraught. This kid keeps sneaking out, and everyone kind of puts up. He's kind of like the town mascot. Like, everyone puts up with him standing guard and stuff like that. But sneaking out at night and doing it, it's more they're watching him like a hawk. Like, oh, you're never leaving our side again, that type of thing. Yeah, Cauldron will greet them and just make sure that he's stable and doing-- he'll tell them, we're sorry for the inconvenience.

We lost control. And if there is anything else we can do, please let us try and make him OK. If it's any consolation, he's very, very brave. And very, very sturdy. So wrong. They don't build them like this. You're very lucky. Have you seen this new crop of kids? Break like rice cakes. Anyway. I can't even take a mule. [LAUGHTER] I hate both of you. That would actually go a long way to smoothing stuff over. Like, it's just nice to check in. And they would be-- I don't think there'd be a permanent grudge. I think they're more mad at him. Like, you know that upset worried?

I'm not angry. I'm just disappointed. Like, he had us worried sick. Right, it's just, no, no, no, this goes beyond disappointment. Stop fucking sneaking out. You almost died, like that type of thing. Braidlin. Yes. So you're playing some music. Yes, I am playing some music. There is going to be-- there's going to be a gentleman that sidles up next to you. Is there a specific song you're playing? No, it's just melodies. Just pretty simple things. OK. So it's just kind of like background jazz lounge stuff, like while-- Yeah, exactly. So this gentleman is going to sidle up next to Braidlin.

Big mustache. Like mustache curls up onto his cheeks. Wow, you know you're pretty good. Thank you, sir. Please, you have to move back because I need some space. Thank you. Sorry, I didn't mean to crowd you. I heard about your troubles over there. I was just seeing if I could help. Troubles? And he's still playing, but he's like thinking. And he's not very tactful because this is Braidlin from two years ago. Oh, you mean money. Yeah. Yeah, I'm not sure. Yeah. Yeah. Yes, money. Sorry. I wasn't trying to eavesdrop. It just kind of came up in conversation over there with the Sespa.

I could offer you a spot at our table if you play cards. Braidlin's like, I love cards. I love playing games. Yeah, sure. What are you guys playing? Well, I don't know what the game is today, but usually it's poker. OK, sure. Yeah, let me see if I can finish playing this and I'll go join your game. And he would just kind of-- you could see he's like, oh, awesome, that's great. I really appreciate that. Thank you, sir. Oh, thank you for the chance to play some games with some fine young-- where are we again? Dern Hollowans in kind of shaky smiles. Sure, yeah.

Because that kind of hits his ear weird. It's like, that's a strange thing to say. But he's going to kind of tip his hat and go back to his table. Um, Larg. What you want to do, man? So he's going to get up and stretch and go find somebody who works at the temple to see about burial. Well, let's say you find somebody and they start arranging things. Is there something special you wanted to do? No, he's basically just very, very much like, yeah, you know, today would be nice. Well, yes. But yeah, just the facts of it. And he's done everything he can do on his end.

So he's just making sure that that's taken care of. And if there's a time where it's going to happen, he's going to make sure he's there for it. But he's got to hand that over to somebody else until that time comes. Oh, this is ghoulish, but I got to do it. Okay. It costs money to bury someone. Depending on how extravagant you want their final resting place to be, that cost can go up or down. I... How much would Larg plan on spending? Larg has 22 gold and he hands it over to the guy. Oh goodness. Okay, so this would be a fairly cheap coffin. Okay. Probably no headstone, like a little wooden marker, that type of thing.

They're obviously get... You know, the same amount of respect is paid and everything. It's not like that goes into the service. It's more the burial itself. But yeah, they would take care of that. Okay. Yeah, he isn't bothered by any of that. He hands him his money and Saunter's out of there. Okay, so they would start prepping everything. Yeah, and he has to know what time so he can come back and be present. Yeah, this would be probably around sunset. Okay. Okay. Oh boy. Elena, Calli, how would you be doing? We all went down to eat. Okay. I don't know. I think right now Elena's just sort of heaping to herself.

She's thinking about a lot of stuff, so she's not really doing anything. Okay, what about Calli? This is gonna make her a great episode. She doesn't really want to hang out with anyone right now. So she did her meditating and I think now she is just outside, just staring at people watching. Unless somebody wanted to come fetch her. She's thinking. She has things to think. Let's catch up with Braylin. So Braylin wraps up playing for a while. Would you join that gentleman? Yeah, I'd go to the table, see what they're doing. Okay. So this is more, he's like, oh, we're playing across the street, but you're more than welcome to join.

Oh, like they're in a different building. Yes. Maybe a little wary. He'd be like, uh, sure. And like, if you appeared wary, he'd be like, oh, there's no, you don't have to. It's just, you know, we have a weekly game and I thought you might be interested. We're a player short. Sure. Sure. Let me just, uh, let me just grab some things here. Cause I can't stay in this in another night. I'll meet you there. Yep. There's going to walk. He's going to leave and then look for anybody who's still there. Any of the strange new friends who are not really new. Uh, it sounded like Calvin was sticking around.

Callie was sticking around. Okay. So I'll go to them and be like, Hey, uh, did I like play cards before? Yeah. All the time. Was I any good at those games? No, you were terrible. I had a feeling these guys are gonna offer me a spot at a card card game. And, uh, you know, he turns his pockets inside out. I feel like I could use the money. Is this also a common theme with me? Do I always just, am I always just broke? Um, yeah, unfortunately though, that may be a side effect of us all being together. Huh? Huh? Okay. Wait, what guy, guys, what cars where? Across the street.

And he's just going to point because I don't know the building. It's around over there and the guy had this really big mustache. Pretty cool. Actually, I might get one myself. Uh, yeah, they offer me a spot at their card game. Is that the, uh, cherry blossom across the street? Yep. Uh, called in, I'll like put his hand on Braylin. Um, Braylin, don't, don't, don't go there. Okay. Sit down for a second. Um, before, okay, this falls into the place where things are fuzzy for you. We were in Durn Hollow before, like I said, and you and Tatiana, uh, tried to, and he's going to like lean in and whisper, rip that establishment off for like, I'm a criminal.

He's gonna say really loud. Keep it down. No, no, no, no, no. Uh, there was only one person who saw it and they have a drug problem and we decided to leave Durn Hollow in a hurry just in case something happened. But last night that guy was looking at us. I don't think you should go there. Okay. I will not. I will sit right here, but I'm probably, I'm pretty sure they're going to be expecting me to show up. So, uh, maybe so much time. Do you want to make an excuse? I could go with you. Uh, we could say we have a friend in mourning and we need to see to him. Yeah, that sounds good.

Let's do that. Okay. Uh, who else is here? Callie wrapped up meditating. Oh, she's like out front doing. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. So we like walk by, we like go through the saloon doors and she's on the porch on a rocking chair or something and uh, and Kalden will look over and be like, have you seen Tatiana or Elena? Um, I haven't seen Tatiana. Elena was around here not too long ago. We may want to go check on Larg and just make sure everything's okay. We've got to, uh, Braylin and I are going to go get him out of a card game and then maybe let's head over to the temple.

Does that sound good? Yeah. Where's the card game? Kalden will like gesture with his head at the cherry blossom. Oh, she's gonna like inhale deeply, like a really sharp inhale. And uh, are you sure that's a good idea to even go over there? Yeah. The way you talk about this place, maybe we just don't show up. Maybe they don't care. He kind of shrugs and looks a little nervous. You know what? That's a great idea. Maybe you just lost track of time and sure. That sounds like something will happen to me, right? It's possible. It's possible. Yeah. Let's uh, let's go ahead.

Yeah, that sounds good. Cut that ball. So, uh, let's say you find Larg just after making arrangements for Ellen. Yeah, I'd say like he turns around and like as he's heading towards the door, they come in and he's just kind of like, oh, hey guys, what's going on? Braylin steps forward, shuts his hand out. Hi, I'm Braylin Gobluck. Nice to meet you. Kind of looks at Braylin and then just looks at the other two and looks at Braylin. Hi Braylin, I'm Larg. Does he shake my hand? Yeah, he'll shake his hand. Wow, that's a really big grip. Oh man. But as he's shaking it, he'll look back at the other two again.

A lot happened while you were out. One of those things being Braylin lost his memory. That's what they tell me. I'm pretty sure that you guys are like murderers who drug people because it seems like anyone who's involved with us has something to do with drugs. Uh, so I'll be keeping an eye on you all. Okay, well that, okay. And he's still shaking his hand the whole time. And then he'll, uh, he'll stand up and he'll go, okay. Um, well, I'm all done here. So what's going on? We, well, I think we all need to get together to maybe figure that out, but we just wanted to make sure that you were okay.

And if we could do anything for Ellen. Oh, I'm okay. Um, and, and Ellen's okay, um, she's gonna, they're gonna bury her at sunset and I'm gonna be there. And if you guys want to be there too, then that would be okay. Um, since you're the ones who killed her and he'll just kind of like smile and walk on by. Oof. Braylin looks at the group. This guy, he's not our friend, is he? No, he is. And he's really angry and he's really upset right now and justifiably. But if we don't all come together, then we're going to explode apart. It's very colorful, uh, description.

It's been a colorful 24 hours. Let's go find Elena. Walk, walk, walk, step, step, step. Uh, what would Elena be up to at this point? Is it still like morning time? Oh no, you get to even wake up in morning. Oh, that's right. That's right. Yeah, this is afternoon. Okay. Elena would probably be like in the bar area, like not drinking, but just sort of hanging out, doing like small talk with people. You know, everything that me, Valerie would never do. Okay. Elena would be hit on at some point. Okay. We don't have to role play that out, but just know that you know what?

Actually, let's do this. Let's roll. No, no, no, this is right with me on this. So let's roll a flat d10, right? The closer we get to 10, the more suave and put together this person is, maybe the more charming and just polite, the closer we get to one, the more drunk and obscene they are, the uglier they are, the uglier acting they are. Uh huh. Eight. So it's not bad at all. It's, you know, there's a nice person. They walk up to, you know, Elena and they probably offer to buy a drink and all that stuff. Common bar fare. I that's good, right? I don't know what common bar fare is.

I mean, the cash out to go. Can I buy you a drink? Do you come here often? Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, that type of stuff. Okay, then then, yeah, she'll like chat with him and stuff. Okay, so this goes on for a little bit. You don't shoo him away is what I'm saying. No. Okay. I would say the rest of the group is going to find Elena sitting here chatting. Elena, what's up? Elena's gonna look over from having this nice conversation with this nice young man. Is this guy bothering you? Oh no. No, I wouldn't say that. Elena's going to look at the group and my God.

Elena, you deserve a nice guy. Elena's gonna look at Calvin specifically and just, you know, sort of she deflated like slightly a little bit when she saw you guys, but it's not super noticeable, but she's gonna say, "Oh, hey guys, what's up?" Largs made arrangements to bury Ellen at sunset and has invited us all to be there if we want to. He's upset about the whole thing as you can probably tell. We should maybe go check where the cart exploded and see if we can salvage any of our gear there. Elena's eyes are going to sort of widen a bit because she was like suppressing all of that and she's going to say, "Yes, of course." She's going to turn back to the man.

What's his name? His name is Trainin. Trainin. So she's going to look at Trainin and say, "It was so nice speaking with you, but there's quite a few things I have to go do right now. Maybe I'll see you around?" Oh, and he would, I would say just the right amount of understanding, but kind of a little bit let down that you couldn't chat for longer. So it's not, like you could tell he's not trying to like pressure you or whatever, but it's very much, it's like, "Oh, you know what? I'll be around," that type of thing. Half elf gentleman, very nice. Jason, I shouldn't fall in love with the fictional person.

I mean, look, as long as you feel something, that's all I'm here to do. My heart. You just got to find yourself a nice half elf guy. Yeah. They got that in Florida, right? Oh my God. Shouldn't be too hard to find. I mean, with surgery, anything is possible. Right. So you're checking out the cart? Yeah, I think we go to, oh, Cullen would be like, "Have you seen, is Tatiana anywhere?" I mean, she's very good at not wanting to be found when she doesn't want to be found, but- No, sorry. I haven't seen her. All right. Well, maybe we'll run into her on the way out of town.

Would they, Tatiana? I know you went for a walk and to get away from people, was it- Oh, it was partially like a walk to get away from people, but partially, you know, there's some things that Tatiana would like to do while she's in town that are best done away from the party. It's a coping mechanism that she may have. Oh, we're going to learn characters stuff today, guys. Well, I don't see what could possibly go wrong in Durn Hollow, so let's do that. Let's catch up with you in just a moment, but let's say the group heads off down the road to inspect this wreckage.

This is not pretty. The cart is in a million pieces. The donkeys are obviously dead. Dusty and Rusty have passed. And I'd say they're a good three and a half, four hundred feet down. Like, you could, like, slide down there. Like, it's not like you have to climb, but it's steep. Hmm. Oh, it looks- Barreling looks at Elena. Hey, you seem pretty strong. Can you, like, hold a lot of weight? That's at the end of a rope, maybe? Yes. Okay, you have any rope? She's going to sort of look around at everyone. I mean, I think we all do. I think it might be down there. That's also...

Again, you don't have to climb. Yeah. Oh, we could just, like, scooch down. Yeah, it would be slow going, but you could totally do it. Okay. With relatively small risk. Alright, Caldin gets on his hands and scooches down. Scoot scoot scoot. You mean his hand? His hand, yeah. Oh, whoops. Roll disadvantage. Oh, okay. Oh, you're fine. Nice. Barreling scoops down. Mr. Caldin, do you need help with something? Uh, what do I see down there? Gear wise, can I get our stuff back, or at least the important stuff? Yeah, totally. It's one of those things you're gonna have to hunt and peck around a bit.

Yeah. Like it's like, "Well, I found a bow, and, uh..." There's a lot of wood and a lot of broken pieces of wagon. Okay, yeah, he'll be like, "No, I think I've got it. Maybe come down halfway. I'll hand it up to you." Elena would start going down. Let's catch up with Tatiana real quick. While you're on your walk, could you do me a favor roll a perception check? Sure thing, buddy. Yep. Never mind. You're good. That was a one. That was a one. That was a one. Befittingly. That fits into the theme of today. Befittingly, so yeah. What would Tatiana's release be to deal with a stressful situation?

So she definitely, I think mentally, is feeling like she keeps trying to help and make things work out and make things better, and everything that she's doing is causing things to fail. So she's gonna get a little kleptoey, and she just needs a win. She's looking for the thrill of doing something she knows she's good at and succeeding. And will probably be looking, not even necessarily for the best reward, but the easiest win is what she's looking for. So this is like stealing sunglasses from the dollar store. Exactly. The smallest shit. And she's just gonna be taking lip glosses and nail polishes all over Dernhalle.

Gotcha. And then the only other thing that I was thinking, because she's probably gonna be spending most of the day here doing this type of people watching you weirdness, if she were to have the opportunity of seeing somebody that she thinks may have underground, thief-y information, she definitely wants to try to... She has some questions that she wants to ask about Ripley particularly, and if there's any news about what that might be happening. Okay. Alright. Oh, boy. Let's deal with... Give me a sleight of hand check. Let's see how well you did today.

What's the haul? I mean, these are all low. Oh, Jesus. That's 27. You stole a lot of cheap shit. Like a lot. So yeah, you're going... I mean, that's almost a crit. I'd say you're walking out of your fifth shop in Dernhalle. And let's say you just stole some meat on a stick. Just to see if I could steal edibles. Fuck it. Like, let's... Yeah. So you're walking out and you're gonna bump into five individuals. And one of them is going to tip their hat to Tatiana. Good day. I almost wanted to say be well, but I didn't. She'll just sort of like nod her head back and say like, to you too.

And she's gonna try to like go around them or whatever. Like, yeah, they're not weirdo. Yeah, they're not gonna let you through. The guy's gonna speak up. Mr. Crane would like to see you. If you can come with us, that would be a big help. We'd really like to not make a spectacle of this. She's gonna immediately have that pang of like, oh shit, I know that name. And she's gonna look at these five people, obviously realizing she probably can't take off, take on five dudes alone in a merchant's shop. And she's just gonna take a big chunk of bite out of this meat and through gritted teeth.

All right, let's go. All right. Boy, I'm gonna say that it's gonna take a while to get this gear back up this big ass hill and to kind of get everything back to town here. But for the most part, you really didn't lose anything valuable, right? Obviously, you still get the bell. We went over that. Callie has that. No, Tatiana has that. Sorry. Oh, Tatiana has that. I know. Oh, no. Oh. Let's just file that away for a little bit. OK. Can I just do one more thing? Sure. OK, so as they're exiting this merchant's place and they're walking through town, Tatiana will be frantically looking around to see if any of her party members are around.

And obviously probably won't see anything. But if she can part with it, she's going to try to drop some something. What are we talking about here? Drop something. I'm trying to think of anything like of note that would be hers. She'll take off one of her gloves and drop that on the ground. OK. Lark is still in town. You know what? Lark, give me a perception check. My favorite. Hey. Well, this complicates matters. That's a crit. Lark would notice, Tati. I'd say just before she walks in to Cherry Blossom Heaven with these five individuals. What would Lark do? OK, as they're like heading towards the door, where is he in relation?

Probably down the street just a bit, maybe a couple of shops down. OK, yeah, he's going to sort of pick up his pace and jog after, which is loud because he's still armored. Oh, boy, I would say that at least one of these five individuals is going to notice and probably a couple of them carrying crossbows. Would they might even level them at Lark and just kind of like, oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, back up. Yes, he'll stop jogging, but he'll keep walking and he'll be looking at Tatiana, but talking to them and he'll say, hi, I'm Lark. I've already died twice.

So if you want to shoot at me, I don't care. She's coming with me. Tatiana is not. She's going to jump right in here and she's just going to say, Lark, it's fine. Everything's fine. We're cool because she does not want to have like this fight with just them two versus these five dudes right outside their establishment. Hmm. He's still walking, so. Oh, goodness. Okay, they are definitely leveling their crossbows at Lark at this point. And the quote unquote leader, I guess, of these individuals is your last warning friend. What does he look like? What's this guy look like?

So picture a wide brimmed hat wearing mostly black and gray, kind of like not dressed up, but definitely dressed to be around town, not necessarily in armor. I'm picturing full beard, kind of scraggly. Okay. Yeah. So he's still kind of looking at Tatiana, but obviously he kind of cuts this guy off and he says it wasn't a question. And if she doesn't come with me, I'm going to rip your ears off. Wow. Lark, Lark, Lark, I want to go with these fine gentlemen. We're going to have a discussion. Why don't you go back and find the party? They'll know why I'm here.

Ask them if it rings any bells. She's going to give a face. How close is it to, um, to sunset right now? I'd say you got like a couple hours. Yeah. Well, I, I, I made plans for tonight and I need you. So, um, right now, or I eat this guy's face and he just points to one of the random guys. Jesus Christ. I, I, I need you to roll an intimidation check at this point. All right. Fuck. God damn it. Maybe it's because you're so flippantly, so casually saying it's like, ah, I'm going to eat his face. So like, maybe it's not like a Mike Tyson, I'm going to eat your children, Fred.

It's more like, I'm going to stop for a snack at this guy's face. So it's like, it's more confusing than anything else. And I would say, oh boy. They would probably try to start to nudge Tatiana into the building. And this, this lead guy is going to say, Mr. Crane's waiting. We'll take care of your friend here. Yeah. As she's allowing herself to be pushed into this building, she's just going to yell out at Larg one more time. Larg, just go find the party. Ring the bells, Larg. Can I roll an insight to see if he can figure out what she's talking about? I would say, yeah.

Cause he doesn't know she has the bell. Right. Boy, howdy. Give me a wisdom check. That's almost why she's trying, like it's, it's, she's trying to make it not obvious, but at the same time, this is the only way she can, like, this is her only thought of how she could possibly get the idea in his mind that things are way worse than he thinks they are. Well, Larg would definitely understand, get the party. I don't think he's going to pick up on the whole bell thing. Right. That clue. Cause that's a seven. Okay. So what happens if they push him, they push her inside and a bunch of guys stay outside?

I'd say, yeah, the, the, the lead guy is probably going to take her inside because she's not resisting. And it's not like he shoves her in. It's more like, come on, let's, let's go. Like this is, we're stopped for long enough. So I'd say four guys are left outside. Okay. So he's going to stop and he's going to stand there and kind of face off against these guys. Oh God. Tumbleweed's going to go by. With the whistle. And he's just going to stand there and look at him. And what do they do? I think they're, I think they're very confused. Cause like one, you're a half-orc.

And I think there'd be some general prejudice, like this guy could, this guy could snap at any moment, but it's not, you know, I'm going to, I'm going to fucking carve out your heart or something. It's like, I'm going to eat this guy's face, but it was almost friendly. So like, I think they're more waiting to see if you make a move, but as long as you don't try to go into the building, I'd say they're not going to hit you or anything. I'm going to keep walking. Into the building. Yep. Oh Jesus. All right. Oh boy. Hey, what's everybody else doing? Uh, they're making their way back to town.

Let's, let's, let's, let's stay with Lark. Let's, let's, don't, you can't die again Lark. We hear this weird whistle and like, and we start running. What is Durno off, Durno off Tumbleweed? That's weird. Oh boy. Let's just take everybody but Lark out of the initiative tracker. Just in case. One of these guys with the crossbows is going to, one last time, Hey, hey, back your ass away from this build. Or what? He is going to move up to Lark. Kind of, we're talking kissing distance, like very close. Or I'm on cave your filthy half-orc skull in. And a headbutt him.

Oh Jesus. Right in the bridge of his nose. Well golly. You know what we're going to do? You've had a tough day. I'm just going to say you hit. Okay. Because I don't know how you'd miss with your skull, touching his skull. Right. He was almost doing it for me. Right. He basically was asking for it. What I'd like you to do is roll a d6 and that's how much damage this guy's going to take. Okay. Okay. Boom. Max damage. Okay. His nose is now spread across his face. Yeah. He's, he's going to start bleeding profusely. Okay. That's going to be six damage to this thug. Now the instant that happens, one of these other thugs is going to try and just thump Lark in the head.

So let's say, I don't know, thug number two. I'm going to target Lark. Going to have advantage. I'm going to try and use that'll hit. Oh, well that didn't do very much damage at all. Good. Uh, so that's going to be three damage to Lark. I would say officially there's a fight. Let's come back to that in just a moment. Okay. Cause this is all just the law could get involved. That might be nice and your friends and all that stuff, but let's deal with Tati. Tati is going to be led up some stairs here. And I would say the scuffle with Lark is going to break out shortly after that.

Now the odds are against you hearing it, but if you'd like, you can have Tati roll perception. Yeah. Yes, please. Let's do it. Nah, you're fine. So you don't hear the scuffle breakout outside. Okay. Can I ask a question? And if you want me to roll again, because it's a separate thing, I will. But if not, I'll take the 11 of like, as she's walking through this place, she's definitely looking at like all the windows and where all the doors are and like where she is in relation to the house in case she needs to make a speedy or has the opportunity to make a speedy exit.

Yeah. I would say there's a, there's a set of double doors in the front leading into like a bar type setting with a bunch of round tables. You could see some people playing some cards and hanging out. And then there's a set, there's a big set of stairs leading up on the left side of the wall and you're being led up those I'd say with 11 that's what you'd notice. Okay. You're going to be led up to the second floor to the office of one Titus Crane. And this thug is going to open the door and sort of gesture for you to go in. She will enter. Okay. So there's a chair sitting in front of Titus's desk and this thug is going to walk in with you and offer you a seat.

And Titus is a dapper looking gentleman, a tiefling in a bowler hat, kind of a suit. And he's gonna look at Tatiana. "Well, I very much appreciate you taking my meeting." Well, when one is beckoned by somebody of your stature, of course you're gonna show up. And he's gonna hold a hand up to his chest so you know who I am. I've been recently made aware, yes. Well, I would hate for rumors around town to be your formal introduction. And he's gonna hold out a hand. Name's Titus Crane. What does this guy look like? I would say about six feet tall. Again, tiefling, male, very well dressed.

Looks like he's got some cash. Okay. Tatiana is going to hold her hand out like a lady. And he would shake it. Titus's desk is kind of it's very neat, very organized. He's got some paper and stuff there, but he's also got like baubles, like he's got this little crystal ball paperweight and he's got some ink and quill and all that stuff. Very business person set up. I wanted to speak with you today because, well, I heard an ugly rumor. Being as how you were in town for only a short time, I didn't think I'd get the opportunity to sit down with you like this and discuss it.

That rumor being and she's gonna sort of like relax in her chair a little bit. Okay. Well, short time ago, we were the unfortunate targets of a attempted robbery. Thieves didn't get away with anything though. And he's very much watching Tati's face. Tatiana is going to do her best to stay in this sort of like character she's chosen to portray. And she's going to sort of like very again, sort of femininely, well, goodness gracious, thank God that they were in your favor and they didn't get anything from you. And he's going to kind of relax, lean against his desk a bit.

He's probably circled around to be in front of Tatiana, not too close, but you know. That is the exact thing I felt. Now that being said, I can't have my reputation in town tarnished by such a thing. If people thought that they could just walk in here and steal money. Well, that could really hurt the bottom line of my business. You understand. A hundred percent completely. Now on to this ugly rumor. I heard that you were involved with the party who tried to break in here. Hmm. Again, watching Tati's face. Yeah, I'm trying to decide if Tatiana would be deceptive about it and be like, oh, my God, that is a rumor.

I must find the person behind these lies or if she just wants to own up to it and be like, hey, listen, entrepreneur to entrepreneur. I don't know which one I would get in less trouble doing. Go with what your heart says. My heart isn't talking. I could roll. You could roll. OK, we'll say evens. I tried to deceive him and odds I'll just own up to it. Well, fuck. Oh, God, this is maybe the end of Tatiana. Here we go. Tatiana is going to take a long sort of calculated pause and she'll sort of lean forward in her chair. And she's just going to look at him because I assume he's standing like leaning up against his desk.

So she's looking up at him. And she'll smirk and say, well, Mr. Crane, you are no dummy. I have to say I'm impressed that you were able to find out that much as I am impressive in my own trade. Oh, boy. Well, now. I got to say I am hurt. I always thought of myself as the type to welcome. Newcomers to Durn Hollow. Give him a fair shake. This is a sad set of circumstances. And he's going to bring a hand up to his face, just kind of like... You could tell it's not a nervous habit, but just kind of like he's thinking. As he's thinking, she's just going to sort of say.

At this time, I hope that I hope that you can respect the fact that I will own up to my actions and know that it was just business. As I have told you previously, I was made aware of your stature within this community and I can only offer my humble apologies. She's trying to come up high class. Yeah. Get... Give me a persuasion check. Yes. Oh, my God. That is a crit. That's a crit, baby. Right when I fucking needed it. I listened to the dice and what they wanted me to do, and it's going to work out, guys. Let's go back to this in a second. Larg, here's what we're going to do.

Yeah. We're going to go through a round of combat. Let's do it. Okay. After that round of combat, we're going to see if the party would be back in town to see this. We're also going to see if the law would notice in time to get involved. And then we're going to do another round of combat and we're going to keep going until something happens. Does that sound good? Sounds good to me. Okay, do me a favor. Roll initiative. Oh, that's good initiative. That's good initiative. That's the highest I've rolled on that, I think. Oh, wow. Okay. Okay. So, thug number one, this is a guy you bloodied, right?

This dude is going to... Oh, boy. Yeah, he's just going to try and bloody up Larg, I think. Just kind of come back at him. Okay. That'll miss. What's he... Oh, he attacked me with his mace? Yeah. Okay. Larg. Your turn. Which ones of these guys had the crossbows? I would say they flank you on either side. So, thug number two and three. Okay. Basically, I want to kind of bull rush one of these guys to push the crossbow out of range. Like to kind of point it away from himself. Okay. See if you can get it to fire so he loses the bolt. Oh, my God. He hasn't drawn a weapon.

He hasn't drawn a shield. He's just going at these guys with his hands. With his big half-orc mitts. So, you're going full Batman on this? Pretty much, yeah. Okay. Here's what I'd like you to do. Now, okay. I want you to try and grapple one of these guys with the crossbow. Okay. If it's a high enough roll, not only will you grapple him, but you'll do just what you said. Okay. And it's just a straight strength check, yeah? Uh, yes. Okay. So, that's a 22. You are going to grab thug number two, right? Just kind of, you know, just lunge at him and grab him. And in this scuffle, thug one is going to try and club you with this mace and miss.

The crossbow is going to go off and strike thug number one. Okay. So, let's, let's do that. Six damage. Can I also make an opposed strength roll with this guy to see if I have him grappled? I'm gonna say you do have him grappled. I do have him grappled? Okay. Yeah. Anything else? Um, I think that's all I can do on my turn, right? Just grab him? Pretty much, yeah. Unless there's a bonus action you want to try. I don't think so. I'm good. Okay. Thug number two is in a fucking death grip with Larg. And I feel like... Okay. He's got no... He's got no weapon right now because his crossbow isn't loaded.

He was stupid enough to get that close with a fucking ranged weapon. So, I feel like he's just going to try and break free. All right. Oh, good lord. (laughter) I'm glad to be back, guys. If you beat up four dudes. (laughter) Golly, what is that to break free? I think it's just either his dex or strength against my strength. Yeah, I... I mean, strength, I guess. (laughter) So that's a check. All right. Oh, no. Well, he rolled a two. So nothing's gonna happen. He's just gonna... Like, you got him. You have yoked him up like he's not going anywhere. Thug number three is gonna start panicking and just try and club Larg.

Jeez. Oh, we're gonna drop a one to take a 12 and miss. Thug number four needs to run inside. (laughter) To maybe get help. So now we're back to thug number one. Who I guess will just stick to the plan. And miss. Jesus! I like the idea that the maces are just kind of bouncing off his armor. Okay, let's see if the law is going to notice to get involved. And let's see if your friends are back in town. First, the law. Okay. Sheriff is going to notice and start to make their way over here. Now let's see if the group is back. Yep. What would the group do upon seeing this?

We see Larg, like, fighting three dudes, right? Yeah. Caldin's gonna turn to everyone, especially Braylin, and say Larg's in trouble. We gotta help him. You mean the guy who's not our friend? He is our friend, Braylin. Oh, right. It's just hard to keep track when everyone's so mean to each other. Things are weird. Come on, let's go. And then run over and fire off a bunch of ice. I'm gonna slip you in at the end of this round. Larg, what would you like to do? All right, so the guy I have in my grip is Thug 2, right? I want to pick him up and hit the other guy with him.

Oh my god. Just kind of bowl him sideways into at least one of the other two. Maybe both, I don't know. Kind of like, just get the fuck out of here, you know? You know what? Give me a strength check. If it's high enough, I'm gonna say fine. Oh, I betrayed. God damn it. I was doing so well. You were. That's a crit one. So I would say that this is like, it's just awkward, right? This is a big awkward dance you've gotten yourself into. Let's go back up to Tati. So in Crane's office, there is a set of double doors that lead out to a balcony. Do me a favor, roll a perception check.

Me? Yes, please. Gorgeous. I'm still dealing with the ringing in my ears, I guess. Yes, that's perfect. So that's a four. Never mind. Titus is still kind of leaning against his desk, and he's gonna stop touching his face and kind of use his hands to brace himself. Like kind of, they're sitting behind him, so they're on the flat of the desk, just kind of, you know, he's relaxed. Tatiana, I gotta say, I like you. I like your style. And if we had met under different circumstances, I would have probably offered you a spot in my organization. And I want you to know that I take no pleasure in this.

And he's gonna grab that crystal ball paperweight, and he's gonna swing at Tatiana's head. But I rolled a crit. Yes. We'll get into it. Okay, well, she isn't gonna let him hit her. I wouldn't think that you would. She has been nothing but a model prisoner up until now. You have. Let's roll a deck save. Thank God for my fires. Okay, here's what we're gonna do. That's a 15. So I'm gonna roll an attack, and as long as it doesn't beat your 15, you're fine. Oh, shit. Fuck you. Fuck you. I was being so good. You were. This is 16. We're gonna get into it. So that, let's say, that is four damage to Tatiana.

And it's probably gonna cause Tatiana's head to bleed a bit. And now he's just kind of palming this crystal ball thing. Again, I really like you. But I can have people in this town thinking that I'm a pushover. So here's what we're gonna do. I'm gonna take my rage out on you until I feel as though I've got my money's worth. And then, and he points at the balcony. Then I'm gonna toss you back down to the street so people know what happens when they try to rip me off. And he is hovering over Tatiana. Oh boy. Okay, here's what we're gonna do. So just about that time, a thug runs into the room and, in a very distracting manner, says, "We're having a problem with that half-orc outside." And, oh boy.

Tatiana, is there something you'd like to do? So Tatiana just got hit in the face with this globe thing, and it's probably on the floor while he's hovering over her. And as he says that he's gonna toss her over the ledge or whatever, she's gonna sort of spit out blood, and she's gonna look up at him and sort of smile. And she's just gonna say, "I mean, you could do all of that, but you'd be making some powerful enemies, Fran." Oh boy. Okay. He is going to point-- Remember the thug who escorted you into the room? Their little leader? He is going to point to that guy Crane is.

"Go handle that!" And they're going to leave the room. And I would say this guy's gonna look back to Crane, and kind of like an "are you sure?" look. He's like, "You got this?" And Crane's gonna kind of give this sly smile, like, "Yeah, I can handle it. Don't worry about it." Larg. Let's finish up this round and add some friends. Okay. Okay. Yay, friends! I think Larg's got this. We dropped a one to take an 18. Uh, six damage to Larg. Then we're gonna have Thug number three attack Larg. Can Thug two attack me while he's grappled? Yes. He can. Yeah, I think-- Yes, he just can't get away.

Right. Okay. Oh my god, 16 will miss? Jesus, what are you made of? Anger. Oh. Uh, oh boy. And Thug number four ran off. Now, um, friends! Hello. So we got Braelyn, we got Callie, we got Elena, we got Calvin. I'm gonna get my hand. Oh, yeah. Ooh, baby, baby. That was almost a crack. So let's say that you guys are just arriving to the scene here and the laws are coming. So what is, like, what do you say when you walk up? Because it would be Elena. Elena takes in the situation. I have a question, like, did we just come back from the cart or did we, like, go to the inn to, like, drop stuff off?

I would imagine you're just rolling back into town. Okay, so do we just have, like, handfuls of stuff? Yeah, let's say you kind of tossed it to the side. Oh, okay. Uh, Elena's gonna take in the situation and she's just, she's gonna kind of... Did she... Because they saw the last round, right? So she knows that they're, like, in a fight and, like, actively fighting? Oh, you know, yeah, you know, without a shadow of a doubt, they're fighting. Okay. She's going to roll her eyes and sort of say under her breath, "here we go again." And she's gonna move up to thug three and she's going to try and stab him with her longsword.

Okay, it's simple, it's elegant, I love it. And... That'll hit. Perfect, I'll do some damage. Oh, just to let you know, you have advantage if you want to see if you would have rolled a crit. Oh, okay. Yeah, don't worry about it. Okay, but I think I believe I get to roll damage again because it was a one on damage. Let me see. What kind of fighter are you? Battle master? Oh, I think that's true. I remember that coming up, like, eight times in our last combat. Oh, yeah, that's right. Yeah. Well, roll damage again, I guess. Okay, roll damage again. Oh, much better, that's nine damage.

Right, and I, since I had to look at things, I realized I get to attack twice, which I completely forgot about. So I'm going to... With advantage. With advantage, I'm going to attack him again. Okay. Oh, that's a 19. Almost a crit. Nice. 10 more damage. Okay, and that's going to be it for me. Oh, boy. Thug number one. Thug number one's not doing so well against Lar. So he's going to target Elena and crit. Okay, so let's do damage first. Oh, that's 11 damage. To Elena. And we roll on the crit table. Body blow. In addition to standard crit hit, damage your target's lung is slashed.

Let's say, actually, ribs are broken because it's a blunt weapon. Elena is stunned for two rounds and takes a negative one penalty to combat until healed with the appropriate healing spell. Cool. Callie. So you're going to see this thug wind up with a mace and just crack Elena in the ribs. You're going to hear a bone break. Oh, that's good. That's good. See, I know what I want to do, but I can't do it because that would be meninging. I guess my question is, like, you're like right at the door to this establishment? Pretty much. Is the door open? I would say...

I would say, yeah. I don't think that guy who ran in was in, you know, was thinking about closing the door behind him. Okay. I mean, like, Lark wouldn't just be trying to get in here for no reason, right? Like... Oh, I see what you're thinking. Can I delay until after Lark's turn? Sure. Okay. Lark. Okay, so do I still have this guy or did he get out when I... No, you still got him. I still got him? Okay, I'm going to throw him in the other direction away from the other guys. Okay. And then I'm going to try to get in the door. Give me a strength check. Strength check.

That's pretty good. I'd say you shove him to the side. Now, you will take an opportunity attack, too, actually, if you move past these guys. Yeah, that's fine. Okay. What do we got? What do we got? Okay. So first one is gonna miss. Second one is gonna miss. Just ting-ting off his armor as he walks by. Yeah. So Lark is going to march past these guys and walk right in the front door of this establishment. I want to say before he goes in, he looks at Elena and he just goes, "They got Tati." And then he marches in there. What do I see when I go in? You see a lot of confused individuals, firstly.

You're also going to see two men coming down the set of stairs leading toward the front door. Okay. Fog number two. Wait, me? Right? Oh, yes. You want to jump back in? Yeah. Okay, let's go. Now that I know Tatiana is in the building, I want to be shaped into my box. Hmm. And slip my way inside this building. Yeah, I'd say they got bigger things to worry about than a fox right now. That's what I was thinking too. Okay, so you are moving in with Lark. Cool. Perfect. Okay. Thug number two is... Thug number two is gonna... I... I don't... I thought he'd pursue, and then it's like, "No, fuck that." Like, he'll probably try and swarm Elena.

So let's do that. Oh, 19 will hit. Tight. Four damage. That's... Elena's got this. Braylin! Your thoughts? Super confused. I just know what the fuck is happening. There are thugs everywhere. These people are getting attacked. He will use... Oh, wait. Okay, I had a question. Okay. So one of the things I did was I picked up Marshall Adept because I remembered how Elena used it. I think even though it's going to hinder me for the purposes of the game and for our story, I should forget that ability until I regain my memory. Because I picked it as a feat, remember? I...

I mean, you know what? If you want to do that, I'll give you inspiration. Yeah, I'm going to do that because I was thinking about that yesterday. So you know what? You're going to get inspiration. Thanks. Because that's some solid role play, sir. Yeah, it makes sense. He's going to use Healing Word on Elena. Okay. You get five back. Sorry. Five health to Elena. Not a whole... And I think it's a bonus action for Healing Word, so I still have my turn to do a regular action. So I will target number two and do this shirt bow. I got it. I got it back, right? Yes. Got our stuff.

That'll hit. Cool. You have advantage, you know. Oh, well, I did damage there, but let me do it again. Yeah. No, first one. First one. Okay, first one. We'll take the first one. So seven damage to the thug. Thug number two. Yeah, so he just heals first. He just screams in "Freddy Mercury was heal." He would say, "I don't know how Freddie Mercury was a heal." And he says it like that. He'd be like, "Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee." And then after he finishes that, he shoots his shirt bow and major. Thug number three is going to target Elena.

And hit. Eight damage to Elena. Let's skip thug number four for now. Thug... Actually, you know what? Thug number four is going to run into Larg here. On these stairs. This could end disastrously. But let's say that Larg is mostly up the stairway. Okay. And that these two gentlemen are on the stairs right in front of Larg. So they have the high ground, Anakin. Now... Thug number four is going to try and swing at Larg. Just... just... let's do it. Swinging at Larg. That'll hit. And eight to Larg. Back outside to Kal'Dan. Kal'Dan, what would you like to do? Can I see the balcony from here?

Yeah, I mean, you'd have a street-level view of it, so you'd be at an angle. But yeah, you'd be underneath. Would I be able to, like, see anyone in there? Like, even though it's at that steep angle, could I see Tatiana or anything? I wouldn't say so because they're not next to it. Okay. All right. They'd have to be really close. Okay. Then I am going to do something different. Kal'Dan is going to make some symbols with his hands, and he is going to say some magic words. They sound strange, they don't sound like the Draconic he normally speaks of, they sound like a weird version of it.

There's nothing that's happening on the outside, but on the inside, what could be happening to these thugs, and that's like, their lungs and their kidneys and, like, pockets of this stuff is, like, turning into frozen stuff and, like, piercing those little areas, like, making blood go, or, like, you know, making wounds appear inside of them. So I'm going to target all these guys and spend some sorcery points to cast Chill Touch. Do you have to touch them for that? No, it is 60 feet. Ah, good. Okay. I didn't know if it was, like, yeah. Yeah, it is neither touch nor ice.

It is necrotic. So we're going to do the Dr. House, fly inside their bodies, look around thing. It'll hit all three of them. Okay. So they are going to take, are we level five now? Okay. Yeah. Then they are going to... I had to think. I was like... Yeah, I did too, because I can't find it anywhere. So they're going to take 2d8 damage from this. Oh, shit. I believe the spell's damage increased 1d8 when you reach fifth level, 2d8. Okay, yeah. So we'll do boom and boom. They can't regain hit points and they'll have disadvantage against me. So he says these words and all of this stuff is happening on the inside.

They buckle over in pain. Oh, God. Okay. Yeah, that's kind of horrific. Yeah, you're a monster. Holy shit. Tati. Yeah, yeah, yes. Give me a perception check. Okay. My perception sucks tonight. Work with me, Jamie. I literally every time I roll for perception, I'm like, this is going to be bad. I already know. Okay, well, that's a five. Just you're preoccupied. So Titus is going to be standing over Tatiana and he's going to crouch down. So powerful enemies. Now, see, that's something similar I'd like to tell you. But I think you're already getting that, aren't you?

I hate this, like, balance of I want to play the character correctly, but also I really don't want to die. Jason, would I be able to try to do some sort of sleight of hand to pull out my dagger? Yeah. Okay. You want me to just roll that skill, I guess? Well, okay, I want you to understand the risk. Okay. If he sees you going for a blade, he's going to attack. I know. He's already attacking, though. Yeah, you're right. That's my thing. I'm like, either I have to sit here and take this beating, which she would not allow, or I've got to engage and possibly die.

Well, let's do it. So, yeah, that's what she would do. As soon as she saw that he was unwilling to work this out diplomatically, she's going to sort of stealthily go for her dagger, please. I mean, that modifier, though. Tatiana is going to reach down while Titus is talking and gently unsheathe her blade. And you can tell he's playing with his food a bit. Like, he's enjoying this. You know what? Let's roll for a thing here. Oh, yeah. Okay. Now, I hate to beat a pretty young thing like you up for too long, so I think that head wound and a trip over to the balcony should get the message across to everybody, don't you?

And he's going to try and lift Tati up by the arm, like guiding her up. Oh, shit. But he's basically saying, I'm not going to beat you up anymore. I'm just going to throw you over the balcony. Yeah. She's going to sheath her dagger. He's going to guide you over to this balcony. Elena. Yes. Your turn. I have a question about what's going on, because I remember you said something about something until I get healed. Oh, you're stunned. Yeah. So basically, you just kind of stand there. Okay. What was the thing about until I get healed? That was you take a minus. Actually, you know what?

It just says that. Well, let's see. Yeah, that's yeah. So we're gonna have to skip your turn for this round. I'm sorry. No, that's that's good. I just want to double check. Okay. Thug number one is going to back up here and draw his crossbow. And aim it at Calvin. Oh, no, wait. I have disadvantage. He has disadvantage because of the spell, but he probably shouldn't because that's not supposed to happen because I did it wrong. It's only two of them. And I was just picking from the list two and three. Well, you know what? Give me a flat T20. 11 or higher. He is affected. 10 or lower.

He's not. Sounds good. He's not affected. So that's a crit. Okay. As a reaction, uh-huh, Kalden is going to very quickly wipe his hand in front of him and a sheet of ice is going to form really, really fast. I'm going to cast Shield. Oh, that's a reaction thing? Yes. One reaction gives me plus five to AC, including against the triggering attack. And so that would be 21 versus my AC. Well, that's a crit. So no? Well, the crit automatically hits. Oh, you know what? You're right. You're right. You're right. Yeah. Okay. So you want to take that back because you might need it later?

Uh, yeah. That makes sense. Okay. So he does not cast Shield. He tries to, right? He tries to. Yes. It's like, ah! And he just puts his hand on it. Yeah. Or hand. 15 damage to Kalden. It's not going to roll on the crit table, though. So that's good. Oh, that strike's so true. Callie. Hi. Hi. I'm going to run up the stairs because that's where I saw thugs come from. Let's fucking do it. So Callie's going to run into this building and run up these stairs and be behind Larg. Like right behind Larg. Okay. Larg! All right. I am going to grab this guy by his collar and his belt and hurl him over the banister.

I've always wanted to do that. Here's what I want you to do. Below you is a bar. There are two gentlemen standing in front of you. Depending on how well this goes, you might be able to take out both of them. Okay. Give me an athletics check. So the way these guys are coming at you, these two thugs, they're probably going to be surprised that you're in the building. They're going to be like, okay, there's a scuffle. I just ran up for a second. We're coming back down. We're going to beat the shit out of this guy. So they didn't know when they had left that you had friends.

Now you're in the building. You're going to grab the guy to the left and just pull, just whip him over to the side. You're going to take both men over, just bust the banister to the stairwell and throw both of them over. That's amazing. Okay. I feel like I was brought back for that. That is 16 damage. The one thug is going to land behind the bar and it's going to knock over some bottles. It's going to be just utter calamity. Sadly, the second gentleman, the man who was on the inside of the banister is going to fall over backwards and land spine first on the bar itself.

Oh shit. He will die instantly. Well, there you go. And I'm guessing you'd like to continue. I will continue up those stairs. All right. Dog number two. Jesus. Dog number two is going to continue to target Elena and hit and three damage to Elena. Nothing big. Braylin, you're up. Okay. He's going to see like, Oh God, do something. Like he doesn't know what's wrong with her. So he's going to move. Let's see. Hold on. And the club. What's the range? Hmm. No, not Thunderclap. Oh, thank God. He'll healing word Elena again. Okay. Beautiful. Four. It's nothing. That's good. And then vicious shortbow.

Uh, the one that shot Kaladin. Mm. Okay. Remember, you got advantage. Wow. We'll take the first one. Yeah. That's a pretty decent numbers, I guess. That will kill the man. They shoot someone the second time and he kind of turns to shortbow sideways, uh, fires it. And it's like, almost, it's like a small part of old him is like it's back. But just for that brief second, when he lets it, let's go to the bow and he's like, Oh wow. But then he just like forgets it immediately. Oh boy. Thug number three. Colden gives him a nod. Like, thanks. Thug number three is going to move and target Braylin.

That will not hit. That'll miss. Yeah. Misses. Yup. Uh, thug number four is a dead man. Kaladin. Kaladin will, uh, pull the arrow out from his shoulder and point his finger at thug number three who was firing at Braylin and fiery frosty bolt from his finger. Come on, come on, Ian. Come on, come on, buddy. Why won't I go? Go. Oh, there we go. I'm just not clicking the right thing. Well, that'll hit. Oh, it will. Oh, nice. Boom. Boom. That'll kill him. That will kill thug number three. Tatiana. Yes. Titus is going to position you near this balcony. You're gonna, unless you resist, you are both going to walk out.

She's gonna probably like she as she's like staggeringly getting back up to the floor, she's just gonna be like, fine. Yes. Okay. Can I just throw myself off, please? I'm gonna put on such a show for you. I swear. And she's like trying to come off as this very like passive, like, all right, you, whatever you need to do, bud. I think that'd be all right. Please don't make me have to bring you back up here. And she's gonna walk over towards the balcony and sort of like, look back. Hopefully we do have business together again, and she's gonna sort of smirk and like black swan dive off of this thing and like make a big show of it when she hits the ground too.

Oh, you're okay. Literally jump, literally jumping. Yeah. Oh, God. Wait, wait, wait. Hang on. Can we see this? Can we see Tatiana tumbling? I would imagine in the middle of the fight, this is just gonna be a like a body tumbling. Oh, no, I see what's about to happen too. Okay, so this is gonna be some damage. Can I do something? Is there something I can do? I wouldn't say so, because it wouldn't be a thing. Because she's like making a show of it, though. Can I argue that maybe she's doing some sort of acrobatic like somersault thing to make it look worse than it actually is?

Well, see, I'm of two minds on this, because if you're making a show of it, you're making it look as painful as possible. So the only thing that would save you from some huge pain is like a tuck and roll situation, right? Yeah. But that's not gonna look impressive. But she is going to sell it as impressive. Right. You know what? Here's what we'll do. Give me an acrobatics check. Okay. Okay, so Tatiana, how would you propose that you'd land? She would probably land on her side and then like roll out of it. Okay, so this is still going to be pretty painful. Yeah.

You're falling from the second story onto your side. It's not going to be lethal, but it's definitely like you're sore as shit. And if you're selling it. So, okay, let's give damage for this first. 11 damage. Larg. Get ready. Okay. No, come back down. It's done. It's over. Callie, are you looking to follow Larg? Yeah. Okay, Larg. You're at the top of the stairs and in front of an office. Sure is. What would you like to do? I'm gonna kick that door in. Okay, this door is going to cave in with the greatest of ease. Splinter. And tightest greatest standing out on his balcony.

Looking down. And he is going to whip around and see Larg. Give me a perception check, Larg. There we go. Larg will see no Tatiana. Mm-hmm. Will see tightest. Mm-hmm. And probably hear some gasps from the street below. Okay. What would Larg like to do? Larg is going to cast a spell on him called Compelled Duel. Basically, what he's going to do is he's going to in one motion sort of shake his arms so that the gauntlets come off and then put up his fists and cast Compelled Duel on him. For the people at home, what does Compelled Duel do? Compelled Duel. Yeah. So you attempt to taunt or challenge a creature into a duel.

One creature that you can see within range, 30 feet, must make a wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is drawn to you, compelled by your divine demand. For the duration, it has disadvantage on attack rolls against creatures other than you and must make a wisdom saving throw each time it attempts to move to a space that is more than 30 feet away from you. He's got to fight me or he's got to beat a wisdom save. Well, Titus isn't stupid, but let's see. I don't know. 15. Shit, that might have done it. Yeah, he beat it. Well, I've still got my dukes up and that's my turn.

Oh, God. So he's still trapped in a room with an angry hound. Yeah, I'm still blocking the door. Yeah, this is a problem. Thought number two. Thought number two is going to back up and probably fire at Kaladin again? Oh my God. Oh, God. I cast Shield. Oh, shit. That's another crit. Shouldn't that one have disadvantage? For thug number two, I think it may only last around. Yeah, expire. Until the end of the next turn. Yeah, so he wouldn't. Yeah. Oh, shit. Well, 13 more damage. Oofy doofy. Well, war cry. All allies that can see you gain inspiration. Okay, well. That could have been way worse.

I mean, this would have been awful, but it's been super funny if you just shot his other arm off. He's the black knight. A flesh wound. All right, really glad he didn't, though. Really, really. I guess I'll go. I'll see Kaladin get hit and there'll be like a flash. Like, I feel something like, Whoa, why I feel mad. Why am I angry about barely know the guy? And then I'll. Aim for thug two and I'll do dissonant whispers at level two for extra damage. So here's the saving throw. Failed it. Failed. All right. And I'm going to cast. So how do I cast level two? I think it's just another die of damage.

Okay, I'll do it once and twice then. Okay. One. Wait, let's know what. That's the I did the safe twice. Yes, I did that. That's stupid damage. Here we go. That'll kill him. Well, I'm not done. I got more dice. Uh, second level of one D six. Well, okay, here. That'll still kill him. I want his brain to like, I wanted like his brain to just melt in his head like, and he just falls over. That's what I want. Jesus. Okay. So at the man, Lauren's going to get here just in the nick of too fucking late. And uh, just kind of run past this fucking carnage and into the building.

Larg. Callie. Yes. I'm guessing Callie follows Larg into this off. Yeah. Is it like obvious that like, can she see everything like that? He saw. I would say yeah. Okay. Cause then if Tati is not taught, he's not in there. She would shift back. Meanwhile, everybody on the ground below would have seen Tatiana hit, you know, hit the dirt. Uh, loudly. She's screaming. Oh, uh, Jason, can I do something? Are we out of combat? You guys are. Okay. I will. Braylin is going to instinctively rush to the guys who died and start like running their pockets. I thought that was going somewhere.

Oh boy. Uh, okay. Callie will see that and be like, Braylin, Tatiana. What? Who's who is that? But you keep saying names. The, the, the one on the ground. Oh, the one who jumped off the building. Yeah. She's probably dead, man. Well, can you check? Okay. To you guys, it would have looked like she was tossed. Oh, Oh, okay. Okay. Gotcha. He would still run the pockets. Oh yeah, for sure. For sure. For sure. After he says that he won't stop what he's doing and go chase, you go look at Tatiana and see if she's dead, dead. Callin will run over to Elena and see if she's okay.

Okay. Meanwhile, in this office, Lark, Callie. Mm-hmm. Oh boy. Titus is going to kind of raise his hands and he's going to look at Lark and kind of smile because out of the corner of his eye, he's seeing that Laren's getting involved and he's going to talk to Lark. Come on boy. You can't assault me in my own office. I'm going to do a lot more than insult you. And he's going to do that. You know that Henry Cavill fist reload motion? And when he does that, his fists are going to light up with his divine channel divinity. Oh boy. You say come over here and take a beating.

Oh my God. Callie? Yeah, Callie. Okay, can we hear Tatiana? Oh yes. Okay. That's I just want to make sure like Callie is aware that she is alive. Callie is gonna, she's behind Larg, I'm gonna say, and she's just gonna like shout out, Larg stop. Tatiana's not up here. Titus is going to continue to smile. You should listen to your friend. I'm gonna start walking towards him. Oh Jesus God. At that point, Laren is going to get to the top of these stairs and kind of round the corner of this door is already kicked halfway off its hinges and she's going to walk in.

What are you doing? Who's she talking to? Just the whole room? I mean, probably just trying to get some semblance of order. Titus has got his hands up. So probably addressing Larg a little more than anybody else, but just making sure that this stops now, I think is the, the big goal. Is it obvious that she's a, she's like a, a Sheriff? I'd say that I, I'd say you've probably seen her around. Okay. I mean, is she like wearing something that would signify it or something like that? Well, give me a perception check. Let's see if you know. That's a four. So no. So he's not, he's going to stop walking, but he's not going to lower his hands or turn around.

He's going to say, this man tried to kill my friend. I'm going to, I'm going to get him back. Oh boy. Well, she's going to gently move toward Larg a bit. Mm-hmm. We got five dead bodies downstairs, and that's not how we handle things here. If he is behind this, then he'll go to trial for it. But I need some kind of proof. He's going to stand. He's going to like shake his hands and the divine energy is going to go out and he's going to turn and look at her. Let's say I'm a paladin of Arathis. I am proof. Give me a persuasion check. Oh, that's 22. You said he tried to kill your friend.

Yep. Threw right off the banister. Come with me. Let's go talk to her. If your stories line up, then I'll be back personally to arrest him. And she's looking at Titus the entire time, like kind of a give me a reason type of thing. Yeah, he'll go with her. He'll kind of just turn around like it's no big deal and just walk back down the stairs. I'd say there's an instant where Titus got nervous that you weren't stopping. And then he'd probably have that shitty fucking grin after you left. And he'd look at Laren and Calli and probably watch them leave as long as there's no further.

Basically, are you doing anything as you leave? Calli's glaring- Oh my God, I came and talked glaring daggers at him. Before they leave. And he's going to tip his hat to Calli. Calli, you have a good day now, miss. I wish I had a good comeback. I really did. Guys, I think that is a good time for us to stop for the evening. Holy session. What an episode. So much to offer. Seven hours of D&D, guys. Also, every time someone got a laugh, I always had flashbacks of Lark dying. And I was like, no, not again. I was going to feel real bad if I got somebody else killed.

I like this new Terminator Lark. This is L2 Lark return. He's processing a lot of emotions right now. I'm a neural net processor. Grief takes a lot of forms. And divine justice is one of them. Well, golly, everybody, I hope you guys enjoyed today's show. We got a little special thing we're working on right now. We're in the midst of getting feedback from you guys. Every once in a while, we like to kind of try and get our finger on the pulse of stuff. And we got some interesting feedback from a couple of people exiting our Patreon. And we wanted to kind of get a wider viewpoint, I guess.

So if you guys do have feedback for the show, we've been collecting it for like a week now, you can send an email to dandrpodcast@gmail.com. That's dandrpodcast@gmail.com. We had someone leaving who said something about us fence sitting on feminism and stuff like that, which it was only one sentence. So I've been trying to get an elaboration, basically. Do you guys feel that there's something that we could be doing better that we're not? And it's an opportunity for us to explain ourselves a little bit too, because we've had a couple of people give us some feedback on pacing of episodes, why certain groups get released, when they get released, and all that.

And we'll be doing a little show toward the end of December, just kind of checking in with you guys and giving you some explanations and stuff, taking your feedback, reading it on the air. And yeah, we figured that'd be a good way to kind of start off the new year and hear you guys out. So try to get that to us as soon as you can. We really appreciate it. Just put like feedback in the subject line, something like that. Over on our Patreon at patreon.com/dandr, we are getting ready for a big living in Theria, where we're talking all about monster hunting.

We've been collecting questions from you guys on Discord and Gali. That looks like that's going to be fun. A lot of really good questions there. We're probably going to delve into monster types and some stuff that just has not been on the show yet, which is always fun to talk about. There's also a ton of behind the scenes stuff. There have been some really great behind the scenes. The episode you just heard was the second one we recorded in one day for Group B. So the behind the scenes basically covers us sitting there for eight hours, just talking, catching up as friends, chit-chatting about food, and all kinds of different stuff.

So you could check that out over on our Patreon as well, along with a bunch of stuff. If you're caught up on episodes, if you're bored, toss a couple of shekels our way and we'll give you hours of entertainment that you can use for your commute and work and all that good stuff. And you get to support us and we get to keep doing what we do week in and week out. So thank you guys so much. Thank you for listening. Thank you for your support and reviews on iTunes. It means the world to us. We will see you next week with a brand new Group A. Until then, take care and I hope you guys have a great week.
