Howdy everybody out there. This is the Ark 3 finale. We really hope you enjoyed this episode and guess what? We're coming back in just a couple of days. November 2nd, 2020 is when Ark 4 launches and we need your help.

Ark 4 is a completely new hop-on point. We're doing new groups, new characters, new continents. And we need you guys to spread the word. When Ark 4 drops, share it with everybody you know. Share it on social media, share it with your friends, share it on Reddit and Facebook and Twitter and all that good stuff. We want to create a brand new place for new listeners to jump on and not be confused. But that's in a few days. Right now, we hope you enjoy the Ark 3 wrap-up that we recorded. The stakes have never been higher, so let's hear how Group B handles things.

Let's do that thing where we go around the table and introduce ourselves. I'm Jason. I'm the Dungeon Master. Going around the table starting with Jameson. Hey, I'm Jameson and I'm going to be playing Larg who is once more in charge. And Valerie. Hello everybody! I'm Valerie and I play Elena, the human fighter. And Jamie. Hi everybody, I'm Jamie and I play Tatiana, the human rogue. And Karen. Hi, I'm Karen and I play Callie, the elven druid. And Alex. Hi, I'm Alex and I play Braelyn, the halfling bard. Happy Halloween everybody! So let me paint a picture for you because you've just accomplished something absolutely amazing.

Right? The Black Hand's body is propped up on a piece of splintered wood, essentially sidewalk. And it is gored, like right through the middle. Like already bruised, already battered, and just absolutely gored. Like picture arms slung back, just completely limp but propped up in the middle. And blood cascading down the base of this splintered wood, just dripping. And you're going to see that Elena is down and there doesn't seem to be any response whatsoever from Callie. Before I jump in, what would be your reaction to this? Like what would be the first thing that you do?

So you guys are racing to help Elena and you can see that Kaladin is gone. And you can hear this battle still waging with the paladins and these thugs. And a figure is going to run up to this group. And she is... you could kind of mistake her for one of the paladins, just dressed differently. Kind of clad in brighter armor than them, kind of catches the sun, even though the sun is definitely setting. But definitely a fighter of some sort. But she's going to race up to the party here and start trying to grab some of you. Come on, let's go. I mean, who is she grabbing?

I'd say Larg first. Okay, yeah, because Larg is kind of coming down off of barbarian rage, so he's going to pull away for a second and look at this person and just be like, "Who are you?" And very calmly going to look Larg in the eyes, "We don't have time. I need you to get you and your team in this alley now." So he'll look back and see that everybody's kind of roughed up, but then he'll nod to her and be like, "Okay, well, it's going to be a minute. We've got to get everybody back up." She's going to nod and then look over to Kaladin. Bring him to.

And he'll probably notice that Kaladin is down down for the first time, but then he'll kind of process that really, really quickly and then go, "Yeah, all right." And then go to collect his body. In a dustpan. So dark. How about everyone else? Tatiana, Callie, what's going on? Firstly, would Larg go get...would that be just kind of like, "Hey, bring it in, team," like that type of thing? Or would it be like one by one going to people? Yeah, I mean if she came specifically to Larg first and didn't make an announcement to everybody, then I guess I would do that and turn and be like, "There's still more to do.

We've got to go. Let's bring everybody." And you know, Braelyn's getting Elena up. I'll get Kaladin and assuming everybody else is okay to walk. Yeah, Tatiana would walk over to help Braelyn with Elena. I would use a spell if that's okay, Jason, to bring her. I have a lot of third and second level spells left here, so I'm going to burn a third and I'm going to cast Cure Wounds. Okay, good. Good stuff. So Elena's back up. Probably a little rickety, but yeah. Okay, that's 11 health to Elena. And 7 health, so 18 health and... No, ignore the plus 5, so that should just be 6 plus 2 plus 7 plus 5 once.

Oh my god. Sorry. That's okay. You're making me do math right off the bat. That's criminal. Well, we're going to be doing a lot, I figure. Yeah, we are. I think it's 20. Hmm? We're discounting the 5s? Yeah. Okay. So as you guys get together and you come into this alleyway, this woman's still going to be standing here very impatient. Kind of like, "Okay, come on, come on, come on. Let's go. Let's go." Lay him down. Right now. And she'd be gesturing to Kaladin, of course. He's starting to kind of take that time. Like, "Alright, geez." And, you know, he'll kind of lay him down as carefully as he can.

And I'm trying to like, eye this woman to see, like, have we seen her before ever? No. No, she's not. Again, she's not with the Paladins and I think that'd be a lot of your first guess. Like, it's like, yeah, okay. You know, kind of pushy. Armored up. Looks strong. Probably accordion. But not wearing any of the, you know, insignias accord or anything like that, which would normally be a dead giveaway. Because accordions are very proud of being accordions. Can I do a quick religion check just to see if like... Sure. Okay. That's a 16. Yeah, like you're getting... like you're not seeing any religious garb or holy symbols or anything like that.

So she's not wearing... she's not wearing it on her sleeve. Okay. And she hasn't said anything yet that would make you think, "Oh, she's, you know, she belongs to this religion." Or "Ya monitor" or whatever. Like, it's, you know. Yeah, so he'll kind of, as he's sitting Kaldun down, he'll look her over and then just kind of be like, "So when do we get to find out what's going on?" And she's got this gaze. This, um, it penetrates. Like, it's like she's... she is just focused. Like real focused on stuff. And she's gonna hold her finger up. One second. And she leans down and puts a hand on Kaldun's chest.

Now Kaldun is burned quite extensively. I believe it was lightning that hit him? No, it was a fireball. Fireball? Okay. I remember burned. It wasn't one of the demons that hit him, wasn't it? Yeah, it was the things from Thor. Yeah. Yes, yes, yes, yes. Okay. So, burned. And little by little that's going to flake away, starting from where her hand is, and spreading out almost like he's being dusted off. Almost. And his clothing is going to repair, his skin is going to flake off all this. And he's going to regain consciousness. I just bought your friend a few hours.

But we need to have a serious discussion. Kaldun is awake. Larg will reach down and take him by the arm and help do that thing to help him stand up using his own arm. And kind of like looking at him very intensely like, "Wow, that was..." And then look to this woman again and just kind of that squint like, "I'm really trying hard to make sense of this, but he's not going to say anything." She's going to, after Kaldun regains consciousness and stands up, she's going to look at Larg and just, almost as the explanation, "Alverine..." And as it's going to be wider, he's going to look at the rest of the group like, "Alverine..." Did we do it?

Did we win? Lauren's dead, but it sounds like that's not our problem right now. Kaldun's going to look down at his arm. Does he have his arm back, or is it still spooky skeleton arm? Spooky skeleton arm. Excellent. He sort of clocks the bones around a little bit. And you can see that she's getting ready to launch into some explanation, and then I'm supposed to give you this too. And she's going to kind of gesture with her hand, and both Brailin and Larg are going to regain their original skin pigment. They're going to feel this heat within them that they've kind of felt this chill, a cold inside them.

They're going to be alive again. Ooh. Well, when Kaldun starts talking, Brailin's going to run up. I assume he's like sitting down on the ground, so it's about the same height as him. He's just going to hug him, run up to him and not say anything, and just cry into him. Yeah, Kaldun hugs him back real hard with his spooky skeleton arm. And he's looking around and he's like, "Am I back? What's going on? Am I back for good?" And he's like, throws a look at the Alverine woman. She's going to solemnly, gently shake her head no. Just a little. It's not permanent.

You have most of the night. But after that, you are going to die. There's nothing I can do to postpone that. What I came here to talk to you about is this isn't working. There's just going to be more people like her, and they are not going to stop because what we're fighting isn't going to stop. And to that end, something got out while you were doing this, and congratulations. But... One of the demon lords escaped. Lorg is going to look at Alena, actually. Yeah, Alena is going to look over at Alverine and be like, "Was it the one who..." and she's just going to point at her chest?

No. No. This is something else entirely. This is... he's recent. He honestly just got there. He already somehow took over and has escaped. He's done what none of the others have been able to do. And that's by making deals with powerful and influential people. And that's going to keep happening. So we need to put a stop to that. But tonight, you need to put him back. Put him back? How? She's kind of pacing back and forth, like very... kind of wired. We're in some uncharted territory here, and our usual way of dealing with things is not working. We're too far behind.

While we were locked away, too much has happened. We're not on top of this anymore. And I'm trying to convince my colleagues that we need to take a different tact, something a bit more hands-on. What I want to do is send your team to the Dasarigrad Library. And we need you to hurt him and keep him chained long enough that you can banish him back. And I can't guarantee any one of you that you're going to return. But you have to stop him from breaking free completely and leaving that place. You can't let him get back into the outside world. What... what... what does Vecna think?

Is he okay? She's always... she's gonna kind of look at you a little puzzled. He's fine. We're... again... We're in the middle of a very intense discussion. And I understand this is completely unfair of me to ask you, but we don't have time for games or riddles or disguises. We need to get this done. Can we get there fast enough? We're in the middle of Brightport. I can take care of that part. And... I know that this is... the very least that I can do. But she's going to wave her hand and your wounds and bruises are going to close up and disappear. *GASP* Oh, her spell slot!

Also, she's Alberin, Jason? I must have missed that, I'm sorry. She said she's Alberin. I know her. Oh shit, you've met before. Yeah, I met her out of everybody. I think I'm the only one left. Shit! She looked a little different. Yeah, not in this physical form, though. Okay, so then after she waves her hand, Brelin, because he's been just crying and called and I assume his clutch, right, on his shoulder. And he'll turn around and wipe the snot from his nose. Oh, you look a lot different. She's going to give you like a half-smile. Like, in the midst of all of this, just kind of...

We've been working with people all over the world. And... We've been trying to plug up leaks, and... If you can get this done tonight, then I'd like to tell you that we wouldn't bother you with anything else. But I can't guarantee that. The best I can do is get you there quickly, and... Promise you that we're doing something to make sure that this doesn't happen again. Can you do this for me? So Larg turns around and looks at the rest of the group, and you can see that he's already decided he's going. He says, "Whoever wants to come, I'll be happy for the help, but I understand if you don't want to." Time isn't a luxury, I guess, that I can afford, so...

If I only have these last moments... I would like to spend them fighting side by side with all of you. For Theria. Tatiana is going to say... "What's better than being on one god's good side? Two." Don't forget Moradin, and he points to Elena's sword. She's going to look at Keldon. When this is all over, tonight, you're going to be coming with me. I don't know if you had a worry, but you'll be taken care of. I trust you in that. And, more importantly, I hope when this is all over, that you'll take care of my friends. I'll do everything in my power. Are you ready?

And he just nods. Yeah. She's going to... Behind her, in this alley. This is kind of deserted. It's out of the way. And, again, you can hear that distant fighting still taking place. And behind her, she is going to open up this small hole. And on the other side, you'll be able to see these lightly dusted, snowy mountains. I love it already. Oh no, mountains. I'll be talking to her in the next 40 minutes. You're not climbing anything. You're fine. This is more that there's a valley in between mountains. And she's taking you right to the steps of the Dasari Grodd.

It's right there. Time is of the essence. Go. That's cool. This is the library from the book, right? Yep. Before you go, I have to warn you that this isn't going to be like any other fight that you've ever had. This thing was a monster when he was alive, and now he's something completely different. Do not hesitate to hurt him. No matter what he says, no matter what he promises you, do not stop. Nuts. Okay. And as one last parting gift, she's going to reach out and her hand's going to glow again. And you can kind of feel this surge of energy course through you.

Because after that fight, I would imagine you're all just beat, right? But you feel rested. You feel renewed. Maybe a little like, just a little jacked up on caffeine and adrenaline, right? It's like, come on, let's fucking go. Good luck. And she's going to disappear. Whoa. I want to say before she disappears, Braille is like sniffling still, "Say hi to Craig for me!" You guys ready? Let's do it. Let's never. Let's never. I have a question. Hit me. Those of us who haven't yet used the called shot that we used, that we did that ritual for, do we still have that?

Yeah, I mean, it's still in you. Okay. Do we know who still, who didn't use it? Do we know? I did not use it. I didn't use it either. I feel like if you didn't use it, you'd know you didn't use it. Right. I just don't remember. I know I used mine, so I don't remember who else used it. I'm pretty sure I used mine on Erupting Earth, but it still missed, I think. I don't remember. I was too busy getting my fucking face beat to shit in. The call you shot was to get, like, have like double damage or something, right? Triple. Triple damage for one hit. Yeah, you got to call it ahead of time, though.

I don't remember if I did. I didn't write it down, but I also don't write down most things. Right. I think me, Braylin, and Kaladin are the ones who used them. I feel like you did. Really? Oh, I don't know. I remember there was some weird math. Yeah. There's always weird math. But there's always weird math. And there will be tonight, spoilers. With three turns. Ooh, baby. I don't know. Like, I feel like I, I think I did. I think I did. Well, I'm going to take your word for it. Then I think I didn't. Too late. We're reverse psychology. So, stepping through. The sun is going to be at your back, all the sun.

And you're going to feel the chill of the air here. Like, the climate's completely different. You're going to feel this, and you're going to be, if you look up, there's two huge mountains. You're in this small valley. And you're going to feel the faint warmth of the sun beat down on the back of your necks and heads. I think once your eyes adjust, right, you kind of get your bearings, that portal is going to disappear. And you're going to look ahead and see these multi-layered steps leading up to the huge double doors of the Dasarigrod. And you're going to see four figures standing there.

These figures are definitely not alive. And they definitely should not be here. And it's strange because they don't look like they're part of some military force or anything like that. They don't look like they're demons, and they definitely don't look like zombies. These are reanimated corpses, absolutely. But they're not mindless zombies. They all have weapons. They're all readying them, and they're all looking at you with these pale, almost like milky cataract-filled eyes. And they all look like they've come from different places, different walks of life.

Like, there's someone dressed as a nobleman. You know, noble person's clothes on. There's a literal child here. Like, can't be any older than twelve years old. And they're all standing and looking at you. And they're all going to ready weapons. And they're going to start down the stairs toward you. So, could I get... Can I get an initiative roll for everybody? Yeah, this is my gonna be good. I'm very excited for this. True to form, Colin! Finally! I'm not prepared. I like Elena, Callie, and Tatiana. Ladies, please clean up our mess. Are we supposed to know who these people are?

It's more for listeners at home right now. What about listeners at my home? Me. You didn't make us roll for these, huh, Jason? You picked them? No, I just picked them. Because again, it's about speed. Yep. And I want to have some things a little different. About speed? What are we... What's going... There's a module that goes along with this that Alex has been helping me with. But we don't have five hours. So I'm just kind of speeding things along a little bit. Yeah, he skipped a step. Oh, fu... wait, so we're like playing a module? Kind of. Sort of. That's fun. Alright, let me let these guys roll.

Let's see, initiative for NPCs, blam! Wow, Tatiana, Elena, and Callie are going to be kicking things off. Oh man, I'm so excited to play against people that I can't see. Oh no. Gotta get you a new computer. We say this every time we sit down. Alright, Tatiana, you are up. I feel really bad, but I want to delay until after Elena's turn. But I can't see anything! I know, but I can only get my sneak attack advantage if they're already engaged with somebody else. That's fair. So we got our initiative, we're ready to go. Elena's... Elena's up, Tatiana's delaying.

So these people are like here to kill us, right? Oh, absolutely. Okay. Oh, you said one's in front of me, which one is it? Don't tell me it's the kid. Well, it's the kid, yeah, it's number four. Oh no, it is? Yeah, revenant four. Yeah, it looks kinda scrawny, very ashy and pale, but they're revenants, so yeah. But... where's another one? Can I purposefully not go to the kid? I mean, you can, yeah. You'd basically forego an action, though, if you wanted to double move. Oh, like they're the only one I can reach? I think, yeah, in this turn, yeah. Well, shit. They definitely are there to kill us, or can I like scare the kid?

No, they're there to kill you. *laughs* Remember what Alvarin said, don't stop. God damn it. Okay, I'll go up to the kid. Okay. So this literal child is standing in front of you, kinda comes up to your neckline, probably hasn't hit that teenage growth spurt type thing yet, but kinda hunched over, has these longer fingernail type things, and almost looks feral. What are they wearing? Oh, wait, that's... wait, I don't like what I just said, never mind. It's a deep V. It's a... no. Oh, god, okay, I don't know, I'll hit the kid. Alright! Let's see what happens.

Uh, 14 will hit. Oh, damn, okay. 11 damage to the child. Cool, I'll hit the kid again. Okay. Yeah, he's gotta just like, ugh, like to take it in the shoulder. 20 will hit! Oh, I get to reroll then. I won't miss this. Uh, yes, go right ahead. Okay. Oh my god, max damage, that's much better. So instead of 6, we'll do 13 damage. And then I'm gonna hit him again! Alright. 21 will hit. 8 damage. Is that it for you? I think so. Alright, Tati, you wanna jump in? Yes, Tatiana will jump in. Um, and Tatiana is going to target this same kid. Eek. 22 will hit. Wow. That dex modifier though.

Yeah. Plus 10, everybody at home. Do you want me to roll my sneak attack first and then add it as a modifier? I would love that, please. Okay. 25 damage. So this kid's gonna take one to the chest, right? Like, just, ugh, and slowly stand back up, but it's getting slower each time. Anything else? Did you not add 19 to the, um... Oh no, I did 16. Oh, no, okay, so, uh, that'd be 28, 29 damage. 28 damage. I'm dumb. Callie, you are up! Okay. Um, I am also gonna target this small child. Fuck them kids! Like, maybe we'll just get that weird creepy thing out of the way first.

And then, uh, going to cast Call Light, main. Oh my god. So it has to do a dex save. It failed. It failed. So it is gonna take 3d10 lightning damage. Ooh, 16 damage. Kid's hurtin'. Okay, that's it. Oh my god. Okay. Let's get some, let's get some fuckin', let's get some revenants in this party. Alright. Revenant number three is going to, uh, let's see, one, two, three, oh, five. Six, bam. Uh, target Elena. Let's get this going here. Uh, they have advantage and ha! Jesus, let's drop that one and take the 17. 24 will hit. I'm gonna use Cutting Words as a reaction. Okay.

I'm going to use an Abartic Inspiration and roll my Abartic Inspiration die, which I believe is still a D. Where the fuck is it? It's changed now. I'm a big boy. It's a d10. Oh, yeah, it's a d10. Okay. So I'll roll a d10 and subtract it from the attack roll. Let's do it. Five, that brings it down to a 19. Does that hit? It does. Damn it, Elena. That's okay. 14 damage to Elena. One more time. And 21 will hit. Uh, and 8 damage. Easy peasy, I'm a tickety tank. Yeah, you're fine. That'll bring up Revenant #1. Revenant #1 is going to... Oh, not quite. Revenant #1 is going to move here.

And then, uh, just use its next action to get up to Tatiana and that'll be it. Revenant #2! Revenant #2 is going to move up here to Elena. And target Elena. And multi-attack. Uh, 24 will hit. 12 damage and 14 will miss. That brings up Brelin. Oh, wait, it missed? Yes. Is he next to me? Yes. Like, right next to me? Yes. Can I use Riposte? Yes. Okay. Uh, expend one superiority die to make a melee weapon attack. If I hit, then I add it. Okay, so first we'll do an attack. Can, um, someone make me target it? Got it. Okay. Well... Crit miss. Fuck me. I guess. We're not rolling on the table, though.

You're fine. Oh, okay. Cool. That's okay, I just, like, wasted a superiority die. That's fine. You're fine. How many of those could you need tonight? Exactly. Brelin! Seeing my Bardic Inspiration fail, I get very upset. Uh, I'm not gonna burn too crazy of a spell. Let's go with... Good ol' Bane, huh? Three creatures of one choice that I can see within range. I need to get closer. Oh, fuck. Okay, so I can target two. So I'm gonna pick Revenant One and Revenant Trace. And I'm gonna play a nice, crazy song on Bane, on my loot. Uh, one succeeded and one failed. Yup. Looks like.

Right? Yup. Okay. If I cast Effect on... Which one's saved? Revenant One saved, so Revenant Three is the only one that failed, so... I got... It automatically untargets the one that succeeded. Oh, fantastic. I'll just do Effect. Boom! He's got Effect on him. He's got Bane'd. You got Bane'd! That was a level one spell slot. Uh, and I think for my movement action, I'm gonna move. Brehlin's gonna, like, do the football side shuffle and move right here in front of Cauldron to act as a semi-meach shield for a little bit, and that's it. Alright. Uh, speaking of Cauldron.

Cauldron, you're up. Oh boy. Okay. Two, five, uh... Three. Okay, I'm gonna try and... Draw something... No, not draw. We don't wanna draw. That's not what I want. Um... How can I make a little square? Is it this? Uh, go to pointers. Yeah, there we go. I'd like to put it so that I can get Revenant Four and Revenant Two in the sphere. If you put it there, you can get all three of them. And Elena. I know, but I get Elena. I don't wanna do that. Okay. Up right here? Up higher so that it would get Revenant Two and Revenant Four. Got it. Done. There we go. Yep, perfect. Thank you so much.

No problem. And so, Kaldin from behind Brelin, um, Brelin's, like, casting his spells, and from behind him, Kaldin is going to spin his arms and, uh, up above these two, a cloud of ice and snow is going to form and start to rain down a lot of heavy snowballs. So, let me do this. Boop. One of them saves, but one of them, I think, fails. Yes, it does. And I think they may take half damage. Boom. Yep, there we go. That should be it. And that is cold damage. And damage. And that'll be it. Alright, Revenant Number Four, this little kid. Let's go target Elena and try and give as good as he got.

I don't think that's gonna happen. I'm gonna try. Uh, advantage, here we go. Ba-bam! Uh, twenty-four will hit. Uh, seven damage. And one more. Fifteen's gonna miss. Ha ha. And that wasn't even a tick. That time I did it purposefully. Larg! Okay, so Larg is gonna take out his holy symbol and start marching up these steps. Kinda to about here. And he's gonna do a thing called Turn the Unholy. We're gonna turn some undead. Okay. So, I would like everybody within thirty feet of me, which from here should be everybody, to make a Wisdom save, please. Uh, DC is sixteen.

Piece of cake. No, not you guys. Your teammates scattered, they were all undead. The Elena being an undead rumor. Oh, I had the holy symbol facing the other way. Sorry, guys. Oh. Sweetheart, were you just trying to be funny? Yes! Damn it! I'm just an idiot! I just wanted to flex my plus ten modifier. Uh, number one saved. Ooh. Jesus. What happened to him? He got banged and he rolled a one so it didn't even matter. He got, uh, yeah, he's, he's, yes. Okay, um, okay, so Revenant One looks like he's the only one who saved? Yes. Okay, um, let's see. If the creature fails its saving throw, it is turned for one minute or until it takes damage.

A turned creature must spend its turns trying to move as far away from you as it can and it can't willingly move to space within thirty feet of me. Okay, I hate to be the bearer of bad news. Mm-hmm. Turn immunity. Turn immunity is immune to effects that turn undead. Hmm. Uh, I give the holy symbol a little shake. And then I look at the one that I walked up right next to. What's this dude look like, by the way? This is number three. This is number three. So, um, this looks like kind of, uh, again, um, not noble, but definitely wears kind of upscale clothing, but it's kind of like rotted away a bit and, uh, one of his arms is kind of crushed in.

Hmm. Okay, uh, well that's my whole turn, so I guess I'll just look down for another six seconds. Oh. Elena! You have your pick of the litter. There are three right next to you. There's three? Uh-huh. Oh, goodness. And no one else is next to me. I don't know, I'll try and finish off the kid for now, I guess. Who's who? Well, they're all against you. That's what you gotta... The child is number four. The one you've been squaring off against. But if I face off against that one next to Larg, I get advantage. You sure do. Yeah, but I want to kill the kid. Okay. So, uh, I'll isolate that so we can ruin any job prospects you have in the future.

If we could have me target them, that would be wonderful. Aw, nance. Done. Thank you. 23 will hit. Okay, damage. Max damage, 13. Are you still alive? Yup. Okay, I'll hit him again. 15 will hit. Yay. 10? 10 damage to the Revenant. They're still alive? They're still alive. Okay, I'll hit them again. 19 damage. That was a hit. Yes. Sorry, 19. Oh, jeez. Yes, you hit. 19. And then, I get to reroll that. He's dead. No, no, no. He's dead. It's fine. He's dead. Okay. He's dead. Don't worry about it. Revenant number four, Revenant number four. This isn't going to be like a Dark Souls thing where then they get back up, right?

Well, here's the thing. And we should have just run by this whole encounter. If you're going to speedrun this, they had the same rules that you did. So, they're going to roll d4s and they will get back up eventually. Yeah, so that one's just going to fall down. That kid's just going to fall down. I can't like stab it through the heart. Doesn't matter. Oh, Revenant. Sorry, I'm clowning. Okay. If I do action surge, do I get to hit everything three times again? I believe so, yes. You get a full action. Right. Um, then let's do that. Fuck it. It's not like we're fighting someone else soon.

Yeah. I want to fight the guy next to Larg. Let's do it. Oh, are they holding a weapon? Yes. What are they holding? Uh, this is a kind of a hand axe type of thing. Eh, okay. Um, do I get advantage question mark, I think? Yes. Okay. So, I'll start, yeah, I'll start hitting the guy. Okay. That is a crit. We're not going to run on the table though. Not on the table. Uh, okay. But damage. Do I, I'll just hold shift anyway. Oh, wait. Dude, does special things happen on a crit for my sword or am I making that up? Uh, yeah, attack a creature and roll a 20 on the attack roll.

The target takes an extra 14 slashing damage. There you go. Then roll another d20. If you roll a 20, you lop off one of the target's limbs. Okay, so then I'll roll another d20. Well, we're doing. Uh, no limbs, but. I'm just going to add 14 to the damage if you want to add a 14 modifier. Yeah, I can do that. And then shift damage. 27 damage. Oof. Okay. Then I'm gonna hit them again. I, yeah, because that was. That was one. Yeah, that was only one, yeah. Yeah. 25 will hit. 8 damage. And then third time. Oh, wait, I need to be rolling advantages. That's okay though, they all hit.

Roll one more time for the last one. Okay. 26 will hit. And damage. 9 damage. Okay, cool. I'm good then. Tatiana, you're up. Okay, so I'm gonna use my cunning action to go right here. To just dip? I am pretty much. I actually sort of picture like this revenant used its two actions to get up on Tatiana, so it probably startled her. And so she like, almost like somersaults back. And she's gonna fire on this revenant now. Well, I'm gonna move 2/2. Because I still don't want to be that close. You're silly. Aw. 17 will hit. Oh, yay! Yeah, so that's revenant number one.

Try to get first blood here. Okay. Okay, 18. Okay. Gonna add that to your modifier. 27 damage. Yay. With us all lined up on the map like this, I imagine Tatiana, Braille, and a Cauldron are Ginyu forcing right now. [laughter] Who's Rakuum? Who's Rakuum? I need to know. [laughter] Tatiana, because she's the buff that's out of all three of us technically. That's fair. Anything else? Do you get another attack? No. Is it? I don't think so. Okay. I've never had to attack. I think that's Assassin. I don't think that's Thief. Okay, I just wanted to make sure. You're getting to levels where it's like, "Why not?

That's weird." Alright. That brings up Callie. Okay, that's me. I am going to shift the lightning bolt. So before I had it hit kind of like behind where revenant four was. Now I'm going to have it hit in a spot not directly in between revenant two and three, but like one space over so that it doesn't hit Elena, because it hits everything within five feet. So you went two and three. Yeah. Got it. Done. They are going to do a dexterity saving throw. Oh no, Bane. And they're going to fail. Whoo, badly. So bad. That Bane. And then 3D10 lightning damage. 22 damage. And then I'm also going to toss a healing word at Elena as a bonus action.

I don't know. Elena's not even doing that bad. I know, but like why not? No, I'm just saying. Seems like she took more damage. Anything else? That's it. Renant number three is going to target Elena, I guess. Let's target Elena. What about that? That'll be fun. Fist. Oh yeah, Bane. 22. That'll hit. 8 damage one more time. 21 with a negative 4. Oh my god. Yeah, 4. 17s and 18s. Whoo. 14 damage to Elena. That's okay. Get out of the way now. Yeah. Renant number one is going to move up here to Callie because, well. Right as she types it in the chat. I wasn't paying attention.

I was like, I'm being all cool, doing stuff left and right. That's the first time I've ever used my bonus action. Oh man. So, let's get Callie all targeted. And boom. Oof, that's going to miss hard. Second one. 16 is going to hit. And 13 damage to Callie. Going up top with remnant number two, who's going to target Elena. And you know what? Actually, he's going to shift around so he'll get advantage. They're tactful, shitty, shit the fuck. Pa pa pa bow. That is a crit. We will not be rolling on the table though. Oh man. Oh my goodness. No rolling on the table though.

Oh my god. Hoof. 21 damage to Elena. One more time. And 23 will hit. Man, they're fucking rolling 16s through. Yeah, no kidding. Hoof. And eight more damage to Elena. I'm considered bloodied, you guys. Just so you have an update on how I'm doing. Oh no. Braille and Europe. Braille is going to see this and he's going to look to Cauldron and he's going to say, "Don't die, okay?" And he's going to run. Actually, he'll put his hand on Cauldron and give him Bardic Inspiration as my bonus action. What's that? That's a D10? D10 now, yes sir. Any attack or save? Yes. Oh damn.

And I'm going to move here. And hold on, I might have fucked this up. No, I didn't. Because actually, I'm going to go right here. Okay. And I'm going to grab Elena on the back and say, "It's me, Brandon, don't hurt me!" And I'm going to give her Cure Wounds at level... Nice. Fuck it, let's do level three. Yeah, just fucking burn him. I need to burn something here. Oh wow, that's not great. Okay, so 17 plus 5, 22. Wait, wait, wait. Hold on. Are you targeting? Okay, you're not. Okay, I thought we had to do a bunch of math. No, that's fine. Okay, so let's get that back.

You said 22? 22, yes. So it's 16 plus 1 plus 5. Boom, boom! And that's all I can do. Hopefully I can act as some kind of like alternate target for these guys. That's the end of my turn. Oh man, Kaladin, you're up. Oh boy, okay. Elena's getting pinballed. Yeah, no kidding, no kidding. I think I'm just going to... That getting out of the Ginyu Forest formation, a bunch of icicles form into the air around Kaladin, called in sort of like a revolver casing, or like the revolver on a gun, like the spinning chamber. And he's just going to start sending them out at Revenant 3.

And I'm going to do magic missile at third level. So that's one, two, three, four, five icicles of force damage. I heard that wrong, and I heard it is. Kaladin's going to pull out his revolver. Kaladin's just going to pull out a gun. It's what you get when you die and you come back. I'm just done with this. Got to be strapped up here at the library. Okay, so 5d4s, here I go. Go. One. Five. Two. Three. Five. Four. Five. And five. Two. Upside down. That's pretty impressive, actually. Max damage three times. Yeah. Hey, sometimes magic missile does work. All right, and that'll be it.

Yeah, they just fire out like a gun, but a magic gun. Larg, you're up. So Larg's going to do a rage, and he's going to do hammers at this guy. So Revenant number three is going to get a hammer. Let me target him. Okay, so this is advantage. There's that. I just threw the dice. Sorry, I didn't even roll the attack. You're not targeting. I'm just so excited. So that's 12 plus nine, that's 21. Or do you want me to actually roll the attack? Yeah, just roll the attack. Go ahead. Let's do that. So let's try it again. Let's act like we've been using this table for a couple years.

Oh, good. Okay. Let's drop that one and take the 27 instead. So as my first attack when I'm raging, this is going to do an extra d6 plus one plus rage bonus. This is plus two. So this is going to be d6. So I'm going to add five to this attack to this damage here. All right. There's that. That's 15. And we're just going to do it again. Love it. Simple delegate. Yeah. Okay, so now we just get plus two to our damage. Here we go. That'll kill him. Or, you know what I mean? It'll make him less alive. Yes. Okay. Anything else? No, that's... Well, I get to move, right? I'm just going to step back five feet and point at this guy menacingly.

That's good. That'll bring up Elena. Okay, I'm going to go after the person that's next to me. There's only two revenants left. This is revenant two. Okay. 17 will hit. Beautiful. 12 damage. Okay, and again. 18 will hit. 10 damage. And last one. 23 will hit. 11 damage. Very nice. Beautiful. Anything else? Nope, that's going to be it. Dattiana, you are up. Okay. I'm going to fire against the same guy. I don't get advantage, do I? Against... No, nothing right now, no. Okay. You get a plus two? Okay. 25 will hit. Yay. Good God. That's why she doesn't have a plus two. Okay.

Good God. That's fair. So let's add 28 damage to whatever you're about to do. That max damage, so 40 damage! Yay! I'm so excited. Holy shit. Yeah, you don't need to. You're fine. Anything else? I should have called it, man. But I'm saving it. Yeah, that's probably smart. So that's it. Callie! Hello. I should probably attack this one that's right in front of me, huh? I mean, he's going to attack you. He's going to attack me, I know. I should... I don't want to use all my high level spells right now. Pop that seventh level, come on! No! Although it could be interesting.

I will just move the lightning bolt to behind revenant number one. All right. Oh wow. Crit failure for that save. So yeah. Ten damage. 18 damage. I could do... Alina does look pretty bad still, huh? I could throw her... I'll do a second level healing ward. Hold on. 1d4. Okay, so I'm going to roll that first. Oh, I need to target her. That would hit. Should probably not heal the revenant. I mean, can't. There you go. Ten! Ten health, back to Alina. All right, that's it. All right. Um... I just thought of something. Sorry, sorry, this is real later. Revenant number one is going to, well, just do what works for revenant one.

Let's attack Calli. That's 23. 11 damage to Calli. One more time. I should have killed myself. Nine is gonna miss. You're fine. Okay. Revenant two, I guess, is just gonna keep attacking Alina, right? Like there's nothing, no reason to stop that now. Up, 14 will miss, and 20 will hit. Nine damage to Alina. Brailin, you're up. Okay, I'm very concerned because I can't keep healing everybody. And we gotta, I gotta stop burning resources if we're gonna fight a demon lord here. Sir, as the New Zealanders would say, I am going to, you know what? I'm gonna help Alina out.

Revenant two, when is he? Oh, we got him. I'm gonna finagle my way as a halfling would, but I kind of do the Lord of the Rings Frodo run around this column right here in the center and kind of like slide behind the revenant and look at Alina and just say like, we got him. Where my breath go, probably not. And I'm gonna use something I haven't used since the clock. The clock core is going to use my rapier, I think. Oh shit. I thought you were gonna thunderclap. No, will you kill me? That thing will fly into her and hurt her? No, I'm gonna do that. Here we go.

Oh, I forgot the advantage. I forgot the advantage. Okay, I mean you already hit. Yeah, let's do that. Yeah, 26 will hit. Coo coo coo coo. Oh, nice. Ooh, nine damage to Alina. Nice. So I just stab him in the back and pull it out and there's like, I imagine a revenant has like oil blood where it's like super gross and kind of viscous, kind of chunky. Yeah, and he looks at it and he goes, oh, that was in me before. That's my turn. Kaladin, you're up. But you wore it much better, Brelyn. I'm just going to turn and face revenant one and just send some icicles his way.

So some more magic missiles at third level. Five missiles, here we go. Three. Five. Two. Five. Three. This revenant does not look good. I mean, didn't look good before. Definitely doesn't look good. No. And that'll, yeah, that'll be it. Okay, Largams. Stop. It's hammer time. I'm sorry. We're going to hit this guy with hammers. This is what we're going to do. What am I doing? I just rolled damage. There we go. There's an attack. That's 22. Ignore what I did before. Well, I hit him and killed him. Okay, good. He's dead. Can I get a second attack? Can I literally turn and throw my hammer at the other guy?

Sure. I'm going to do it. I'm just going to throw my hammer at him. Here. I'm raging. It doesn't have to make sense. Yeah, let's just throw it. Right to the back of Elena's skull and. Oh, that's what, do I have advantage from a distance like this? You have a plus two. Oh, wait, I guess you would have it. Yeah, fuck it. Okay. Let's go with advantage. Roll it again. Ah, Jesus Christ. Ignore it. Ignore. Ignore that. All right. So let's ditch that crit one and take the floor. Would have 13 hit. 13 hits? Hey, all right. Yeah. So in that case, we're going to add two and we're going to do this.

We're going to do 13 damage. 13 damage. So I imagine it's like a hoo. Did you tell Elena to duck? No. No, I'm raging. So like just the hammer just brushes past your hair and just wings this guy in the head. Nice. Holy shit. I feel like that would be, it's like, we're going to have a talk later. That was cool, but we're going to talk about workplace safety. It's okay, I can use a haircut. It's a hammer. If he threw it hard enough to cut your hair for the month. I think someone used the word slice. No, I like that reaction though. That's perfect. Elena. Oh, it me.

It is you. It you. I'm going to hit first people more. Let's do it. You have advantage. I'll remember to do it this time. 22 will hit. I get to reroll that. Beautiful. Okay. And then hit number two. 21 will hit. I do also get to reroll that. Oh my God. I can't wait till we ditch this. Go ahead. I've missed this so much. Okay. One more, I think. Yes. Okay, let's do it. Oh, that's a good damage. 25 will hit. 10 damage to the revenant. And they're still not dead. Still not dead, baby. They keep on ticking. Okay. Tatiana. I'm not going to lie. I didn't think it was still going to be alive.

I wasn't prepared for this. Just bang out another 40 damage or so. Come on. Tatiana, I suppose, is going to swing around their bow in hand and is going to shoot towards this revenant. 17 will hit. Yay. 19 extra damage for a total of 27 damage. That will knock the revenant out. It's done. It's gone. Yay. And the arrow just shoots by Elena's shoulder and hits it right in the face. The hammer and arrow combo. Yes. Now, here's the thing. Normally, after a fight, you guys would take a short rest. But a short rest involves resting for at least an hour. And these guys could come back and you might be fighting again.

Alex, does the Bardic Inspiration -- how long is it just for running underwater? Looking at it right now. Ten minutes. Ten minutes. Let's run in there. Just run screaming into the -- [laughter] Let's go to our mock. We've got things to do. Come on, come on, come on. But I can use some of my -- you know, the things that you click to get your life back? Nope. That involves resting. Really? You can't -- oh, shit. Yeah, that's what I was laughing about. Don't you have a second wind or something? I do have second wind. I'll just -- no, no, no. I'll heal. We're fine. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

I'm just sticking in the -- Okay, so Braylin's going to go to the first available person as he looks around and realizes that, like, you know, we have to continue going. And he's just going to rush to Elena and burn another level one, cure wounds. Actually, you know what? Let's spread this out. Level two -- yeah, level two cure wounds. I could probably heal myself because I think I'm the only other one that's damaged, right? Yeah. And as he's healing Elena, he's going to be like, you know, if you just moved out of the way, I don't think I'd have to be doing this so much.

If she moved out of the way, she would have been hit by a hammer. No. And then we'll have Larg in the snow looking for his hammer. So you get that much back, and then I'll roll a d8. Is it a d8? Yeah, I'll just roll a d8, and then Jason, if you can please add it, one. Yeah, there you go. I'll do that math. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Okay. That's better. So Elena still looks hurt, right? Yes. Okay. I'm going to go lay on hands in a respectable way and -- Okay, but what if I want you to and not a respectable way? Wow. I mean, that's also fine. We might die here, so -- The old healing honka honka?

What are you asking for? Yeah, no, it's just a healing good game, you know? I didn't know, but I shipped this. This works. All this competition was just flirting. That's all it means. Cute. You were hung up on that boy from Durn Hollow for so long, I didn't know. It was actually me just trying to make you jealous the whole time. Oh, okay, that makes sense. Yeah. Well, anyway, how many hit points do you need? Enough of this. I'm still 48 damage. Okay, I can give you 45 hit points, but that's lay on hands. Oh my goodness. I think you're out of it, right? Jesus Christ.

Man, the stakes, I love it. Look at some thick hands you got, Lark. Oh my gosh. Warm. Send your fanfiction to danddarpodcast@gmail.com. That's danddarpodcast@gmail.com. Wow, callback. That callback, that's an R2 callback. We've got to dust that one off. Are you horny? Yes. Yes. This is what happens when I have two Mountain Dew's and lots of stress. You get all hopped up on the Dew and then you come in here all randy. I'm all dressed up on them. I'm going to come at you like a spider monkey. Are you guys ready for this? Yeah. I think so. Let's do it. Oh, am I going to get the 45 or are we just taking it off or what's happening with that?

Oh, yeah, sorry. Come here. Uh, you have every one of your hit points except for three. Beautiful. Okay. So the doors are wide open to the Dasari Grad and as the last bit of light slips behind the mountains, it is just shadow and there's this faint mist pouring upwards from the stairs, which is odd because the stairs lead down. Who wants to make the first move? Larg is going to go in last and the reason being because he's actually going to bar the door behind them. Oh, wow. Good move. I love it. Just nothing gets out. Yeah. Like we got plenty of time to unbar it if we survive, but that's fair.

I haven't loaded the map yet. Don't worry about it. Brandon's going to look at Elena and Tatiana and be like, ladies first, please. And have like a nervous smile on his face. Tatiana will go in. Cauldron follows her for sure. And it's you said it's light, right? Like it's not dark. There's some kind of like glow coming out. Oh yeah, there's this eerie blue glow coming off of everything down there. And you're going to hear it's faint, but you're going to hear this. There's someone down there humming. Is it a tune we recognize? It's just kind of absentmindedly, just kind of not a care in the world, just humming.

Oh, crazy lunatic humming. Great. It's like rhythm or cadence or anything. Just who's the first one down again? You don't, if you don't volunteer, I'll pick someone. It sounded like Tatiana, but. Tatiana? Braylin. Braylin with Alex behind him was trying to get Elena to go first because she's technically the fighter. But Elena's blind. So wait, wait, wait, wait. There's no matter. So there's smoke coming up from the down. Yes, there was a better way to phrase that, but yes. And then, but we can see or is it dark down there? Because I don't have any dark vision.

I don't feel like you listen to me at all sometimes, though. I would regularly answer as no, she doesn't. There is, and stick with me here, a pale blue eerie light coming off of everything down there. But is it like one of those blues that you can like see? Anybody else want to do anything or? I'm going with Tati. We're standing side by side. I'll help Clark burn the door after. I'm going to start to share this because on the off chance Valerie gets to see it. Well, we'll just be. So here's what I'm going to do for now on. What I'm going to do is I'm going to share the real map with everybody else, and then I'm going to give an MS paint drawing to Valerie.

I can see this one. This one opened right up. This is really cool. It is cool. It's a lot of space for a boss fight to. Oh, that's very big arena. Like a boss arena. There's columns. That's a room for dive rolls. Lots of room for suplexing. Oh, my God. If you kill this demon lord with a suplex. If I suplex Darmock, it needs to be an award. Infamous. We don't have award ceremonies, but I'll make a trophy. Like something for you to display. It's really tempting to metagame and do it, but I'm not going to. In which case, no promises. Now, the Desiré goddess is the library, right?

It sure is. Is this a different room? Yes. I wanted to share this in case you didn't get to the... We're skipping ahead. Sorry. You're good. Okay. You're going to descend these stairs, and each step brings you a little bit closer to that eerie pale blue light, and every step envelops your feet and ankles in more and more of this mist. And you can feel it. It's kind of chilly. It's cool. Against your boots and legs wafting up, you can feel that it has a temperature to it. The air in the room is going to start to drop in temperature too, until you get to the bottom of these stairs, and you'll be able to see your breath just a bit.

And in front of you, there's this large area full of tables and rows of books behind those. There's a very large common reading area with these long tables set up. Think a large public library. And off to the side, to the left-hand side, you're going to see this common area where people used to sleep and kind of have all their personal effects. And straight ahead, you're going to see stacks and stacks of books, just rows, rows, rows, rows of huge bookshelves. To the right, you're going to see that same set of bookshelves, but they're facing east. And you're going to see a passageway that wraps around to the right.

And you're going to hear that humming. And it is definitely coming from that direction, toward the back of this establishment. You're going to see flickers of that blue light, kind of cast shadows that stretch far into that common area. You guys ready? Yeah, just so kind of as we're walking, the only thing Larg will say is just really lowly, he'll just say, "Don't talk to him. Just hit him as hard as you can." And that's it. Who's leading the charge? Is it me? Am I doing it? You tell me. It could be, what if we walk together hand in hand? Arm and arm. But like, I think both of us together I think would be cool.

Yeah. I mean, it's not that narrow. Here's the thing. You're going to go through the stacks and you're going to get to a point where everything's very cluttered. You're going to go past this mural of these tieflings being tortured and all this stuff, and it's going to get more of a storage, or maybe this was barricaded. But eventually you're going to reach an area where you have to ascend this short flight of stairs, and you're going to see these columns that kind of make a half circle. And you're going to see the faintest shimmering where there used to be some sort of barrier here, and it is clearly disrupted, broken.

Like it's not, it's definitely not intact anymore. And there's going to be one robed figure standing in the middle of this half circle, facing away from you, kind of not paying you no mind, but is definitely not worried about you. And that humming is going to stop when you round the corner and start going up those stairs. But as you approach, that familiar echoey cadence is going to come in. I wasn't expecting anyone quite this soon. And he's going to turn around. And for all intents and purposes, it looks like a tiefling. I mean, when you think demon lord, you're expecting an abomination, right?

You're expecting like that thing Elena squared off, like something that shouldn't be of this world. And this looks like a tiefling, except for the nails, the nails definitely look ungroomed, these long rakish fingernails, gnarled, kind of twisted. They almost look nicotine stained, kind of yellowy. And the eyes, the eyes are very off. He appears to have dual pupils in each eye. And I would imagine the silence for just a moment. Tell me, what can I do for you tonight? So, if Larg is in front, Larg is going to cast crusaders mantle, much like he usually casts his divine weapon on himself.

He slams the handle of his hammer on the ground, but usually where it just lights up the head of his hammer. This time it lights up a 30 foot radius around him in a globe. And he takes the hammer, chokes up on it and charges at him. Oh, oh. So no, you don't have a minute. Yeah, that's what I was waiting to see. Sorry. No, no, no, no, no. Largy no talky. Well, yeah, it was like, well, you know, she told us not to talk to him, so I'm not going to give him a minute. I'm so glad. Well, that doesn't mean he's done talking. That just means... Oh, sure. I'm not going to introduce myself first, that's all.

That's fair. Hi, I'm Larg. I'll be kicking your ass tonight. So, let's put Larg there. Let's put old Darmok. There. Oh, I'm excited, guys. Are you excited? Can you feel it? That's from that trailer, aren't you? It is from that trailer. All right. Here's what I'm going to do. Let's wipe initiative away. Let's clear all those initiatives. I'm going to let Larg have one crack at him. Go ahead. Hmm. Well, guys, let's see how it goes. Describe to me, because he's not even going to raise a hand. Like, he's going to see you coming in and the way his pupils are, they kind of like shake erratically.

Like, not even shake. They tremble. Like, they vibrate. Like, he's trying to adjust on you. Like, you're just screaming, running in with your hammer. Okay? Yeah, so he casts a spell. It lights up this radius around him, and he basically just, like, he pulls his helmet down over his face, and he goes running at him, hollering. So, we're going to do a -- we're going to just do a standard attack here, I think. Okay, let's do it. Okay, let's control and target Darmok, Jesus Christ. [laughs] And we're going to attack. That's a 2. Oof, 11's going to miss. Okay, we are going to do it again.

I get two swings. Okay. Here we go. That's a 21. 21 will hit. Okay, so I have two third-level spell slots, and I just spent one on Crusader's Mantle. I think I'm going to spend the other one right now for a smite. I was about to say, you're going to smite it up. I'm going to smite a guy. Real quick, Crusader's Mantle, what that actually does -- let me get back to it here. Holy power radiates from you in an aura with a 30-foot radius, awakening boldness and friendly creatures. Until the spell ends, an aura moves with you, centered on you. While in the aura, each non-hostile creature in the aura deals an extra 1d4 radiant damage when it hits with a weapon attack.

Okay. So if you guys are within 30 feet of me, you're going to do an extra d4 radiant damage. It's opposite Bane. Yeah. Specifically radiant damage, though, so I don't know if that matters. But we're also going to smite, and I've never smited with a third-level spell slot, so I think -- It's only for weapon attacks, right? Weapon attacks, yeah. Gotcha. Okay, so it's 48 extra dice. So I'm going to roll that first. Here's that. Plus this. So that's 31 damage on top of what I'm about to roll. Holy shit. Whew. And here we go. Max. Whew! 44 damage to open things up. Where do you hit him?

That's an excellent question. So I want to say probably aiming for the jaw. Okay. Like a downward to upward swing, like a 5 o'clock to 11 o'clock. Okay. So you're going to -- his neck is just going to snap back. Like, he wasn't preparing for this. He just took it on the chin. Literally. So his neck is going to, like, contort, and then he's going to slowly look back at Lark. And he is making sounds that are clearly sounds of pleasure. He's going to lick his lips as, like, a rivlet of something? Like some sort of black liquid? [Lark inhales] [Lark exhales] And he's going to kind of touch his face.

Do you have any idea how long I've been physically touched before? So, he kind of takes a moment, and he's kind of holding his shield in front of him, and he was ready for a response, but it wasn't that. So he kind of falters for a moment. And he looks behind him, and he kind of, like, waves his hammer. He says, "No! No!" Everyone roll initiative, please. Oh, boy. Of any possible reaction, that's not the one I wanted. Oh, no! Callie rolled a 1. I rolled a natural 20 on my last initiative. Like, what? I feel the hurt. It happens sometimes. That's all I want. I don't think I've rolled...

I've rolled above a 10 for initiative one time, and it was the greatest night of my life. [Laughter] I actually, like, have a plan, and now I have to wait so long. Aww. All right. Are you guys ready? I'm ready. Oh! I wish you all luck. Tatiana, let's kick things off with you. Okay, so I'm gonna target Darmak. And... was that 1d4 if I'm within 30 feet of you, Larg, for... to hit, or for damage? Uh, damage. Okay. So I'll see if I hit first. Uh, 21 will hit. Yay! This works out great for you, 'cause Larg's already there. I know. Just 18, so 21. 31 damage to Darmak.

Dope. Is that all? That is it. All right. Brailen, you are up. Wow, he doesn't go yet? No! He got an 8. Oh man, we lucked out. Okay. Terrified. Brailen is absolutely terrified of this thing. I think he is going to, as a bonus action, grab Tatiana again, or no, Elena, and say, "Go! He needs you!" and give you Bardic Inspiration as my bonus action. I've got two left. Uh, and he's gonna move, if I can here, like behind the column, kind of, to peek around and take a shot with the Vicious Shortbow. I like it. Here we go. 18. 18's gonna miss. I remember. So the bow just, the arrow goes, I think like, a foot or two off of him, and Brailen's like, "Oh my god!" That's the end of my turn.

Kaladin, you're up. Oh man. Kaladin is going to see these long fingernails, and he's gonna like, flash for a minute back to his, his drug trip of seeing these, these long nails around Lauren, and he is going to see everyone like, rush in, and just take a deep breath, and he is going to summon all the magic that he can, and try and use this Necrotic spell to stop Darmok from moving. And I'm gonna spend some sorcery points to impose disadvantage. I don't know how this do, but I'm gonna use Hold, Hold Monster on him. So do I just cast it? I'm not sure how to give you disadvantage for this, I guess.

Do I just cast it twice, or? Well, he has advantage on any magic cast against him, so it's just regular. Oh, it's just regular. Got it. Okay. Cool. Cool and great. Yeah. He's gonna succeed. Oh, okay. Well, then that is my turn. I fail to do so, and I'm gonna move up here with Brailin behind this pillar, maybe get some cover, and that's my turn. All right, so let's, oh boy. That'll bring up Elena. Okay, so question. If I go here, which I can move to, does that get like, is that a plus two? Yep. Oh, I love being a genius. Okay. I'm gonna go here. Is Darmok holding anything?

Uh, no. Okay. Okay, it's Darmok. Might, like, there's no use in, okay. So I'm gonna do fainting attack, where basically I have advantage. So I guess I have advantage plus two on Darmok right now. Oh, and then, uh, uh, Brailin, did you give something to me? Yeah, I gave you a d10 for, I believe it is attack roll or saving throw. You choose. Ooh. And once you use it, it's gone forever. But I can choose to use it after I roll, right? I probably won't use it on the-- Yeah, it's when you rolled. It's when you rolled. The creature can wait until after it rolls for the die, for the ability to check, blah, blah, blah, blah.

But before the DM says whether or not it succeeds or fails. Ah. Oh, I see. That weird in-between space. Would that work on saves for them? No, no, no, no. Only on you. Okay, that makes sense. Okay, with all that said, let's take a turn. Yes. So advantage and plus two. 27 will hit. I would hope so. Uh, and then, superiority die to the attack's damage roll, which is a d10, which is this one. So my damage is gonna be plus five. 18 damage. Beautiful. Okay, and I'm gonna attack again. Ooh. That's a crit miss. No fumble table, but a crit miss. And that means no matter what the number is.

Yes. Yes, right, okay. Uh, then I will attack again. Wow. Well, that's a two instead of a one this time. Still gonna miss. Uh, okay, that then, I'm done for now. Alright, Darmok's turn. As much as I appreciate the sensations, I have a date tonight that I simply can't miss. And he's going to narrow his eyes at Larg. Jadzia is waiting on me. So I'm going to have to ask you to leave. Does Larg look like he's gonna leave? Uh, Larg actually says, "No." And there's going to be this split second where he's just kind of standing there looking at you, and then he is going to lash out, like literally lash out at you, just blink of an eye, just crazy speed.

He's going to swipe at Larg's face twice with these claws and actually use a legendary action. So, yeah, so he's going to target Larg, and he is going to attack 28. Yeah, that'll hit. 35 damage. And, and you rolled for concentration, and you succeeded. Mm-hmm. So he's going to attack you one more time with these, but he has something called Blood Frenzy, and that gives him advantage on any attack against someone who has taken damage. Okay, I respect it. So here he goes again. 30. Also hit. 50 damage! Oh, shit. Ooh-woo! You're going to fail the second concentration save.

Okay. And then he's going to spread his arms, and the ground is going to start to shake. He is going to summon demons to aid him. You're going to see hands start to, start to kind of penetrate the ground and pull themselves up. So he is going to summon one D4 klikors and one D4 turrex. Would you like me to roll these D4s or would you guys like to participate and roll these D4s? We should roll them. We should roll them, yeah. Okay. You know what? Ian, let's see how many klikors you're going to find. Oh, klikors. Klikors were the, are any of these the ones that killed Kaldin previously?

Turrags. Turrags, yeah. I would like to roll those ones if that's okay. Okay, that's fine. You know what? I think it's fair then that, Alex, give me a klikor roll. You love those things. Yeah, I love these guys. Oh, four! Good, good. Excellent, four klikors. Yay! Ian. That was worth it. All right. Four! Oh. Holy shit. Damn it. We are fucked, dude. GG. GG, y'all. Well, let's slip these guys into initiative. You give them 18. I had to redo it because I said roll all NPCs, so I just saved the shit all the time, but I had to repeat this. So, these, so, again, everything's going to be shaking, and you're going to see bits of, bits of stone and stuff start to fall out, just like little flecks, like the dust is settling everywhere.

And that'll bring up Larg. Well, Larg is, he's dealing with a lot right now, both physically and emotionally, so we're going to, we're going to go ahead and rage. Like, he is rocked by how hard he was hit, and he kind of like shakes his head and has to recollect himself, like as Darmok is summoning these demons, but he is, I mean, he kind of blood rages too, to be honest. He's like, I can't go down without him also going down, so we're going to rage, and we're going to hit this guy. Well, let's start with once. And we'll see where the knight takes us.

Yeah. Yeah, so we're going to do that. We're going to do, this is plus two, because Elaine is there. It's a 27. That'll hit. Okay. So this is going to be, because it's my first attack of the turn, I get a D6 plus one, that's five, plus another, or sorry, six, plus another two for raging, so this is going to be eight to this damage roll. Here we go. And we're also going to burn a second level spell slot for another 3D8. Sorry, I did that out of order, but, that's 19 plus 16. Which of course is? 30. 35. 35, thank you. 35, we all knew that. 35, let's just test it.

Exactly. And then I'm going to hit again. I love it. So this one is also going to be with a plus two. We're going to roll this. That's going to be a 16. That's going to miss. Then I'm going to snarl and end my turn. Torag number two! All of a sudden you guys are going to be surrounded by these demons. And obviously that ain't great. Torag number two is going to blaze a trail, quite literally, over to Kaladin. Oh boy. And, oh boy. Oh boy. Let's get this going here. Let's do it. Wham! 26 will hit. Oh no. 16 damage to Kaladin. Torag number one. Oh my god, they're all just right here.

It is going to go right here to Kali. Combustible touch. Can I get you to roll a dexterity saving throw please? Sure. God damn it, it's not good. Okay, you're fine. That won't hit. So, that was going to be additional damage that you don't have to take. But let's see if he even hits you. He doesn't even, wait, he does hit you. Oh shit, 12 hits you? That's my easy. I'm not okay. I used cutting words as a reaction. Thank you. Okay, minus D10. Minus three. Jesus Christ. So, a two doesn't hit you. Thank you. Torag number four is going to move on up and target Reylin. Slam.

Crit. Oh good. Oh my god. Fatal blow. You deal a terrible blow to your target. They instantly drop the zero hit points and must roll a flat D20. On a 16 or higher, they cling to life, but with two failed death saving throws. On a 15 or lower, their wounds were too great and they perish. Hey, this is how it happened. Yep. This is how it happened. Oh my god. History repeats. Seventeen! Reylin is down with two death saving throws, but he is not out. He clings to life next to his best friend, Kaladin. That'll bring up Kali. Yeah, Reylin's getting healed. Sorry, I can't even think.

This all just happened so fast. I'm going to use... Jesus. Why are there so many pages? Why do I have so many spells, guys? I don't... I can't do that. A great irony. I'm so sorry. [Laughter] Ah, how the turntables. Okay, so what I'm going to do is I'm going to cut to a fifth level Mass Cure Wounds. And it's going to hit Reylin and Larg. That's what I'm going to do. Just us? Are we the only ones within range? I think you're the only ones that are hit, right? I got hit too. Oh, yeah, it can hit Kaladin too. I can put it in this middle area, and even it can hit Alina too.

Because it's been 30 feet of the spot that I choose. Yeah, everybody gets some. Everybody gets some. That's also what she said. Okay. 18! Let's get 18 health back to everybody. Alright. Take those nasty death saving throws away. Man, I panicked. So I still have 45 wounds, Jason. I just need to put it in there. Uh, did it not do that? You should have done that. I'm showing no wounds. Oh, what? Oh, because you never gave them to him? Uh, should have gave it to him? She says max 63 wounds. Oh, that's right! I didn't give it to him. I'm an asshole. Ignore me. Just ignore me.

I'm a... I'm just... I'm... yeah. It's fine. It's fine. It's fine, everybody. Boom. Okay. Is that the end of Callie's turn? Yeah. Klicor number one! Uh, where are you, Klicor number... There's just so many Klicor. Uh, Klicor number one is going to race on over and attack Alina with advantage. And... charge! Let's charge. Okay, so, with advantage, if this charging shoulder attacks, then you're going to take some extra damage. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Let's do this first, though. Let's drop a one. Take that 15. 21 will hit. Uh, 18 damage plus... Uh... Oh, I should have did that at the beginning of it.

Uh, plus 2d8. Plus six. Can I get a strength saving throw, please? I can do those. Uh, okay, so I'm going to use... Everybody, that's a crit one. Let's see... I want to save Brailin thing for an attack, so I'm going to use Indomitable. And I can reroll a saving throw. Okay, let's do it. Strength save. 15! Much better. You'll stand up. You're not gonna... Yeah. Oh my god, Glakor number two. Uh... Glakor number two is going to run on over here and attack Larg and do the same thing. Let's do the same thing! But no advantage this time. So, uh... If this... Shit, 12 will miss.

Nothing. He's got nothing. Ah. I got the runt, Glakor. Ah, Jesus. Glakor number three, though, is going to run up and also try to hit Larg. I shouldn't have said anything. Just what I get. 13 will miss. Two runs. He's a bitch. Tatyana! Everything's on fire! Do something! Everything is on fire. Okay, so I am still going to target Darmok because until somebody else engages with another being my damage goes from 76 to 1d6. So because this is the final time I'm going to try to hit Darmok I'm gonna call it. You're gonna do it! You're calling your shot! I'm calling my shot.

Oh my god. And because your concentration broke, if I hit I don't get that defense. I don't get that before anymore, right, Larg? Yeah, you don't get that, sorry. Let's just see if it hits first. Did you add the plus two? I didn't. Okay, so that's 18. That is gonna miss. Okay. Do you want to move or anything? No. Yeah, back up the stairs and out. Yeah! The doors are shut! It's... Brailein! You want to stand up? Uh, I guess, right? I mean, that's kind of important. So this Torag is looming over you. Oh boy. Okay. This nasty stone creature, it's got like a furnace for a stomach and face.

So it's just this churning, roiling fire and molten liquid. I'm gonna cast as a level five spell. Oh my god. Yeah, massacre wounds as well. Yes! I will put it in the center so it hits Elena, Larg, me. I think it hits everyone except Tatyana, I'm pretty sure. I put it on the center. Five, ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty-five, no, she's still against her. Yeah, Tatyana's fine. Yeah, we're all within range. Okay, so everybody then and I'm gonna... Well, I mean, Tatyana didn't get hit, right? No. Okay, I'm killing Tatyana, I'm sorry. But here we go, massacre wounds for everybody!

Yay! Oh wow, good! Twenty-four! Very nice. I'm gonna stand next to Colin. Oh, it doesn't give you anything, that sucks. I don't think I can target myself, can I? I think you can. You can, yeah. Oh, then I definitely would have targeted myself. Well, let's give you twenty-four health, how about that? Yay, I'm not gonna die in one hit! Yeah, I'm gonna stand next to my best friend and say, "See you on the other side, Colin." And he'll look at the Turaga and have his rapier you're on, but that's... I'm not gonna move. I need to keep this thing busy while everyone else fights Starmok, I think.

That's our best shot. It's the end of my turn, I think. Calvin, you're up. Calvin's gonna see this Turaga literally smash Brayland so hard, he bounces up and then Callie cures him before he lands. And he settles back down. He's gonna say, "You know, Brayland, you are going to live, and we are gonna give everything to bringing this demon down." And then, let's see, I'm gonna try and cast this bad boy out here. Let's see, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven. Okay, I'm gonna hit all three of these people. I'm gonna look at this Turaga 2 in the face, and then, without looking back, I'm gonna hold his hand out, and this immense cone of frozen ice and snow is going to shoot off in the direction behind him.

I think of the gun from Fifth Element. Oh, Jesus. Success, failure, success! So two of them are gonna succeed, one of them's gonna fail. Okay, two of them are gonna succeed, one of them's gonna fail. Darmok's gonna succeed. Yep, I figured as much that old so-and-so. So, I'm going to, because it's cold damage, I'm gonna add five to it from my dragon sorcery. And then, I'm gonna use this D10. Okay. Okay, so I'm just gonna go eight. Eight? Oops, sorry, ignore that five. Okay, so 13, and hopefully this damage will go. Jesus, God! Okay, there we go. I think the ones that save take half, so I'm sure it calculated that.

Jesus, so you're gonna rip through this glikor. 40 damage. And, oh my God, this Torek is gonna react violently to this cold. Does not like, do not want, it's just yes. So the glikor is gone. Glikor number two, officially dead. Ian, you did it! We just gotta support these heavies somehow. Basically, that's what I'm saying. Most likely I'm gonna die, but as long as you guys kill Darmok, that's what's important. Because my monk is waiting for me. On the other side of the veil! Turag number three is, oh boy, gonna move right next to Darmok, target Elena, slam plus two, bah bah bow, 23.

I'm gonna use my last reaction/Bartok inspiration for cutting words. Okay, let's shave eight off that. I don't believe that, that'll be one less than what it needs, it'll be 15 I believe. So that will not hit Elena. Elena, you're up. And that was a Torek, okay, yeah. Yeah. Okay, I think we're all still going for Darmok, right? Question mark? By all means, yes, please. Okay. He hits like a truck. Yeah, we're gonna do, I don't know, let's do another fainting attack. So I get advantage, and I still get plus two, right? You sure do. Okay, so advantage and plus two, mark off that I'm using the superiority die.

Drop that one to take a six, 17 will miss. You're kidding me! I am not kidding you. Does that mean I can't use the Bartok inspiration now? Did you, wait. Well, 'cause... She has one, she has one. Do you wanna use it? I think so, yeah. Let's go! Give me D10. Okay, D10, this one... Seven, add that to the 17, that'll hit. Perfect, and then I get my superiority die. Oh, that was almost a 10, okay. I saw that. Yeah, rolling around. That was very close to being a 10. Okay, and then damage. Sixteen. Then we're gonna hit Darmok again. Oh, 28'll hit. Almost a crit. 12 damage, so you're hacking and slashing into him now.

Yeah, but like, on all the vital organs. I'm gonna hit him one more time. Okay, 21'll hit. Yes. Alright, 12 damage to Darmok. Anything else? You only get one bonus action per turn, right? Yes. Okay, oh, and I'm, never mind. Oh yeah, okay, then I'm done, yeah. Okay. Darmok, before the Placur takes a turn, Darmok is going to whip these fucked up eyes and look at Elena. I will not let a woman stand in my way. And he is going to try and backhand Elena, and let's just use claws twice here. Yo, that's sexist, Darmok. Come on, dude. It's, it's, yeah. Yo. Dude, it's 12, 1263! 1266, I appreciate the bit. 1266!

He comes for a different time. Shit together. Uh, he's going to target, and here we go. Oh, shit, he has advantage. Oh, this is an as a result of being bloody type thing, right? No, he has legendary, uh, he has legendary actions he can use. Oh, okay, I just didn't know if you were skipping Placur IV or something. No we are not, we're going back to him. Then Darmok gets his turn. Gotcha. Goodbye everyone! 28 will hit! 36 damage. And one more. 25. That'll hit. 29 damage. Okay. Right at the halfway point. Ugh. Pfffft. [Laughter] No. He's, uh, after, after he hits you.

I'm going to take your skin as a trophy. And let that be a reminder to all of you. Not to stand in my way. Elena bites her lip. No, um, I'm just wondering, what would happen if Darmok's being nasty, and someone's like just as nasty back, you know? I don't know, that's a tactic you could take. I'm not going to take that tactic. [Laughter] Placur number four! Jesus, God. It's going to use both of its, uh, yeah, both of its actions to move all the way over to Tatiana. Whoo! Our old friend Tatiana, look, he found us! [Laughter] [Darmok makes a sound] Darmok! Oh man.

Darmok! Let's do this. Let's fucking do this. Let's get, let's get crazy. Darmok is going to spread his arms and cast an eighth level spell. He's going to cast Earthquake. Oh, that's going to fuck those placores up. I don't think he cares. [Laughter] Oh my God, it's a hundred foot radius, so fucking everyone and everything. The entire desire to cry. Yeah, this whole fucking, this whole thing. Oh shit, this might, this might really fuck things up. [Laughter] Everything is difficult to rain. No creatures on the ground, we don't have to worry about that. There's a lot to this, so get ready.

Each creature on the ground that is concentrating, we don't have to worry about that. Uh, burp burp burp burp burp. Yeah, any creature that is on the ground, so this is for the duration. Jesus, I forgot this is a duration thing. Each creature on the ground must make a, that is concentrating, must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, this creature's concentration is broken. When you cast this spell, and at the end of each turn you spend concentrating on it, each creature on the ground in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is not prone.

This spell can have additional effects depending on the terrain, blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Uh, a total of 1d6 fissures. Oh my God. Open in locations chosen by the GM. I'm gonna make it random. I don't, I don't like that. Chose by the GM. Jesus. Each is 1d10 by 10 feet deep, 10 feet wide, and extends from one edge of the spell area to the opposite side. Let's make that 2 instead of 6. How about that? This is a small map. Thank you. Ah, Jesus. Yeah, let's, oh God. Let's get, yeah, fuck. Uh, here's, here's what we're gonna do. Give me, give me that d10.

And, d100. Let's do this. 96. Okay. So, here's what I'm gonna do. The higher the number is, the closer to the center this is going to get. So that's the first fissure. 71! So, oh my God, let's draw, let's draw some lines, guys. This'll be great. Make 'em thick. So basically, one dead in the center, and then one a little not in the center. So, we're gonna have it run clean through. Hold on. Oh no. Uh, both you and the terraig are gonna have to save yourself. There's so much to this spell. I'm so sorry, guys. Creatures standing on the spot where the fissure opens must succeed on the dexterity saving throw or fall in.

So, the only ones who have to save right now are Larg. Give me a, give me a save. Dex save. Dex, my best ability. Uh, let's see. What's the DC? Oh, it's Darnox. Hold on. Oh boy. Oh here, let's do this. Is it, hmm, is it seven? Is it seven? Seven's good in D&D. Seven's pretty good. So, as long as it's not too deep, you'll be fine. It's one. Look, okay. This is basically a fissure that's gonna open up, and it's like a big, like a, like a, basically, you know when you're walking down stairs and you forget there's one last step? Mm-hmm. That's basically what you're dealing with.

So it's gonna be like, whoa, shit. Like, you're not gonna fall prone. You're fine. He thinks he's gonna plummet and just goes, oh. [laughter] Uh, Cauldron, give me a dex check. This Turag's gonna do the same. Oh shit! 25. That is a nat 20. Dex save for the Turag? 21! You're both fine. That's a nimble Turag. Jesus. Uh, yeah, so, ignore the rest of this for now, 'cause it's gonna slow everything down. But this, uh, this area is shaking and these columns are starting to split. You're gonna see cracks and stuff forming on these load-bearing columns. Behind Darmok, you're going to see this pinprick of light.

It is, it is about 20 feet away from him. But you're gonna see this pinprick of light start to form, and it's this deep purple light, and it's going to start to open up. And you're gonna flash back to something that, uh, Alverin said, that there's basically a ritual to fucking get him back there. Like, get, like, you're going to have to basically knock him out and throw him in. That's the only way you're gonna be able to do this. Ah, got it. You can't kill him. Okay. Alright, let's jump on down to Larg. How you doing? Uh, Larg, I, well, we're gonna hit him.

We're still raging. We, we thought we were gonna plummet to our death and we didn't, so we're gonna, we're gonna take a swing here. So, this is plus two still? I have a question. If I move here... That's advantage. That's advantage, and I'd probably take an opportunity attack from a klkora, right? Yes. Alright, I'll, I will take that risk if you want to swing at me with him. I would love to. Okay. Let's do, uh, wank. Yeah, he totally missed. He threw an eight. Okay, cool. So, I'm over here now. And I'm gonna swing with advantage. Here we go. Jesus. Holy shit. Drop a four to take a six, that's fifteen, that'll miss.

Okay, um, swing again. Here we go. Oh, that wasn't with advantage. I'll just swing again. Jesus Christ. Okay. Oh, hot. Drop a six to take that seven. Uh, fifteen will miss. Nope. Sixteen will miss. Alright, well, I end up looking silly for a few seconds, but that's okay. I, I, I had to step over a fissure, so. It's true. Whoo, baby. Turret number two is going to target Kaladin. Uh, and try a slam attack. Actually, it's gonna use its multi-attack. Let's do two slam attacks. Uh, twenty-three will hit. Uh, uh, uh, uh, yep, yep, that'll hit. Alright. Fifteen. Uh, let me do one more.

Oh, that's a crit. Oh, shit. Okay, this is just, he rolled a one instead of a twenty this time. Powerful shove. In addition to standard critical hit damage, the target is knocked prone. Oh. It's like tying to earthquake. Hold on a second. We'll come back to that. Okay. Uh, so let's do that damage. Uh, Jesus. Twenty-one damage to Kaladin. Oof. Oofy doofy. Turret number one is, Jesus, is gonna target Kali. Uh, let's do a multi-attack. Let's do two slams. Twenty-four will hit. Um, I do have to say that with twenty-one damage, my current hit points is sixty-nine, so. Nice.

Nice. Sick. Eighteen damage to Kali. Let's do one more and fourteen will hit. Nineteen more damage to Kali. Turret number four is gonna target Braitling. Multi-attack, two slams. Damage. Twenty-five will hit. Just kidding, just kidding. Seventeen damage and one more. Twenty-two will hit. Fourteen damage. Holy shit, guys. God. Kali, you are up. Mm-hmm. So. Well, that turret should have got advantage, but whatever, it's fine. Mm, I don't think so. Um, so, this, like, are these pillars really tall? I forgot. They're floor to ceiling. Oh, okay, so I can't. I wanna call my shot before I die, but I'm kind of stuck here, so.

Can't do that, I guess. I'm sorry. I don't know what to do. Okay. Just turn into, like, a muskrat or something. Okay, first of all, it's a fox and, um, rude. All right, I think I know what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna do, okay, I'm gonna do this spell called Ice Storm. Hell yeah. I'm gonna cast it on the point, like, kind of back behind Turag I and IV so that it doesn't hit Braitling. I think I can do that, right? 20 foot radius is huge, though, right? Yes, pretty. Let's do one. Just, yeah, just to see how big it is. Oh, god. It's huge. Huge. It's huge. Um... Fuck. You might be able to get these three klkors.

I know, but it's a creature, so you guys would have to do a dex save. So I don't wanna... Well, I mean, if you moved it so that Larg and Elena aren't in it. Boy, there's no good way. There's no, yeah. I can do something else. If it helps, I'm fine doing a dex. Well, I have something that gives me advantage for it, so if you need to hit me, it'll be okay. I mean, can she put the center in, like, the wall? Or not really. Well, it has to still be, like, in the room. Right. If you put it all the way to the right, you can get Turag II. It's okay, I can do something else.

I can do something else that doesn't hurt my fellow party. Oh, yeah, if you throw it to Turag II, that might be... Yeah, I'm just gonna do a Tidal Wave instead. Got it. Okay, so I can do it on Turag I and then 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and it would just hit Turag II. 'Cause it's a 30-foot long. Does that make sense? Yes. Okay. So, they have to make a disparity saving throw. And it's the three Turags, right? Yeah. Okay. They all fail. They all failed. Jesus. With advantage, they all failed. So, they're going to take 48 Bludgeoning. And, I believe, they're all Prone.

Hold up, hold up. 48 Bludgeoning? 4d8. Ah, yes, quite. And then, yeah, so they're all Prone now. God damn, okay. And if anything's on fire, it's not on fire anymore. Like their tummies? Are their tummies all smoked out? Yeah, they don't like that. Okay. Everything's on fire. Clickcore number one! But not really, I put it out. Clickcore number one's got advantage on Elena. Gonna do its thing. Let's go. Okay, but did the Clickcore get confused by all of the earthquakes because Elena hasn't moved since then? The only reason I think it wouldn't is because that's set off by Dharmak, they're summoned by Dharmak, it's kind of a, you know what I mean?

They're controlled by him, so he's seeing for them in a way, if that makes sense? Okay, okay. I'll take it. Uh, 19. That'll hit. Cool. Oh my goodness. 21 damage. Clickcore number three is gonna move up here to... Larg! And... no advantage. Boom! Swing at Larg. 22 will hit. Mm-hmm. 11 damage to Larg. Tatiana. I would prefer to take half that because I'm raging my hair resistance. Raging! Okay. Okay, Tatiana, you are up. Tatiana, I'm gonna use my Cunning Action to go right here, and I'm going to fire on this Turag number one who did get hit by the tidal wave, correct?

Yes. And his prone? Yeah, they all got hit. They're all down. They're all prone. Vundabar! Do I still get a plus two? No, I don't think so. You get advantage if you're hitting it with, yeah, because it's down on the ground. Are you hitting, wait, are you hitting it ranged or are you... Yes. Well then you have disadvantage. Mm-hmm. Well, sugar, I don't want that. Nobody else has been hit. Get on up, sidle. Sidle him up next to him. Get in there. Don't take that tone with me, mister. Okay. Just shimmy on over. That is definitely not Tatiana's strong suit. Though I do think my sneak attack would technically still...

Yeah, of course it would. Could still do it, so you know what? Yeah, there you go. Fuck it, man. Don't be shy. There we are. The final countdown. Ba-na-na, man. And I guess Tatiana will use her short sword. Lovely. Oh, let's drop that too and take an 18. 27 will hit. Yay. 23 damage. Oh, 23 additional damage for your sneak attack. Mm-hmm. Sorry, 33 damage. Yay. Oof. Man, it would have been so great if I had called it that time, huh, guys? What you gonna do? Anything else? No, that's it. Okay. Could you do me a big favor? Give me a 1d4, please. Me? Yeah. Oh, because I'm so close?

No, because I like you. Two. Okay. So, Tatiana is gonna look around. And these pillars have taken a beating. And if Tatiana were to gauge the structural integrity of everything here, she'd say that you have two more rounds before all this falls apart and crushes you to death. No fucking way. Okay. Can Tatiana relay that to the group before- I would if I were you. Tatiana is going to scream across the battlefield. We've gotta go. It's coming down. Ooh. Braelyn. Okay, he hears her say that. And he looks to Kal'Dan, looks to Elaina and Larg fighting for their life.

And he's gonna look at the tarag that's on the ground and he's gonna use this as a chance to move up here. So when it attacks me, it has disadvantage. Because it's prone. If it swings as I run. It definitely would. Let's be honest. I'm gonna close. 22. Yup. Disadvantage? Oh wait, disadvantage. My bad. So sorry. Yes, 17. Does that hit? Uh, so that's gonna be 6 damage. I will take it. And I will burn the 5th level massacre runes on everybody. 21! On 51 health, baby. I think I already did it, right? Because I had everyone chosen. Yes. It's all good. Okay. And then I'm gonna stand here and the kl'korus, I imagine it hunched over and it like *crack* looks at me in the very Stranger Things demigorgon way.

Did it purr like a kidney? Well, it's like clicking. I can't make the kl'korus out. Oh, okay. Got it. And he's breathing heavy and he knows this thing's gonna hit him but he's like "Come on!" He has his rapier drawn and he looks to Larg like "Hey, you guys, this is, you know, take care of Dharma." And he looks at you, at Larg, and nods and like moves his head towards Darmok like "Don't worry about this thing." And he's gonna end his turn. Kaladin, you're up. Kaladin's gonna hear Tatyana and like look around, see Brailin run off into the middle of the room.

He's gonna breathe a small sigh of relief that he's got away from these turags. Am I prone from all this stuff? You were. Just stand up. You're good. Okay. Well, I think... No, no, no. I'm gonna stand up. So that's half my movement. And nine, ten, fifteen. Yeah, I wanna make it over to here. It's half your movement to stand up, right? From prone? Yes. And you're just shifting around, yeah. Yeah, though I think I do provoke from turag door. Yes, so... But I'm gonna risk it. Yeah, it's on the ground, so like it's gonna... It's disadvantage. So it's gonna go... Let's see.

Let's drop that twenty to take a fourteen. Yes, please. No more crits from turag, please, for Kaladin. I've had one too many. That's targeting Brailin, so let's just do three, two, six, five. And oh, Jesus, that's almost nothing. That's nine damage. Wait, no, he don't hit me. Fourteen? That's not my armor class. Oh, god damn it. I'm sorry. I was Brailin. Sorry. No, she weren't. No worries. Okay, this is... Am I able with this cone, am I able to hit turag too, even though it's like kind of on his arm or on his little bitty... I think it's gotta go through half or more.

Yeah, I think you're right. Shoot, I can't move this thing. Can I do something like that? Will that work? Is that good for you? That's fine. Go for it. Okay. I'm gonna cast Cone of Cold again. So now that Brailin's out of the way, Kaladin can just unleash and he just pulls the snow from the side of the room and it comes swirling around him from all corners of this library into a concentrated point in his hand and then he is just going to unload on these turags. Cast! Holy shit. Oh, they all saved, I think. They all had advantage too. How did they all have advantage?

Yeah, they all had advantage. Are they... They should have disadvantage because they're prone, right? No, not for magical... or not for this spell because it's not a... They have magical resistance. Okay, that makes sense. Okay, cool. I'm gonna add... so I'm casting this at 6th level so I'm gonna do the damage. They're gonna take half... okay. They take half damage but I'm casting it at 6th level so it's an additional D8 and I'm also adding a +5 because of my Dragon Sorcery. Yeah, so if you add all that as a modifier, it'll do all that math. Okay, gotcha. So I'm gonna go... blup, there's the D8.

Wow, pretty underwhelming. Oof, 1. Add a 6 modifier and then here come the damage. 46 damage cut in half? Wait a second! This is cold damage so they're vulnerable so they took half but they took double so it's standard damage. 46 will kill all three of them! Ooh! Nice! Yes! Yes, queen, yes! That is what we are talking about! Uh, Cauldron, so he like pushes out both of his arms. He has this like, this pose extending out and he just like breathes out and you just see frosty breath and that'll be my turn. Oh my god, there's only one Turag on the field and that is Turag number 3.

And uh, oh boy, it is going to target Elena. Multi-attack, slam, here we go. And 18 will hit. 18 damage and one more. Oh my god, 16 will hit. 14 damage to Elena. Elena, you're up. That's okay, that's okay, I'm good. Jason, where exactly is the rift? So picture it like, here, in the wall, like coming out from that wall. Like it's in the back of this half dome. It's there? Yes. How am I supposed to push him if I'm on the wrong side, Jason? I mean, you've jumped several steps ahead to grabbing him and then moving him forcefully. He doesn't like that. Yeah, but I can, and I will.

See here's the thing, he's really big about his own personal space. 60. Uh, well, fuck me then. Don't say that near Dharma. True. Um, and like if I move anywhere I get a tax of opportunity out the wazoo. Yes. I don't know what to do now! I literally have a pushing attack! You have a pulling attack? No. Yeah, maybe just swing a sword? But it was gonna be great because I was gonna be able to push him right into it. Okay, I get advantage and I attack. There we go, 23 will hit. 8 damage to Dharmaq. And I hit him again. 25 will hit. 12 damage to Dharmaq, don't forget you have advantage.

Oh, that's right. Thank you. And I'll hit him again. 26 will hit. 8 damage. You know, sometimes it's about getting on base. It's not about home runs. It's just, you know? Uh, yeah. Anything else? Um, I've already done action. No, I think that's it, yeah. Alright, Kla'Kor number 4 is going to target Kali, because there's no Tatiana to hit no more. So let's do Clubbing Claws! Oh, that'll miss. Oh, hey. That'll bring up Dharmaq. Oh boy. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy. I think he's getting frustrated here. You guys are really up in his shit. So here's what we're going to do. We're going to use his last legendary, and use Lash Out again, and do 2 claw attacks to Elena. 1. 27 will hit. 29 damage to Elena.

One more. 18 will hit. This isn't good, guys, just so you know. 25 damage will knock Elena out. And then he's going to turn... What'd he turn on Larg or Brelan? You know what? T20. 1 through 10, it's Brelan. 11 through 20, it's Larg. Larg! That's probably for the best. He is going to... Let's go with what got him to the dance. Let's do some claws. 27 will hit. 37 damage. Now are you still raging? Still raging. Oh, that's a real pain in the ass. Let's do math. You gotta enable that thing that automatically does the raging stuff. And he's got one more. Jesus, 22. That'll hit. 38 cut in half.

Okay, so 16 more damage to Larg. Okay. For those of you keeping score at home, that's not amazing. It's not terrible, but it's not amazing. Larg, you are up. I don't get advantage anymore, do I? You do not. Okay. I am going to drop my weapon and shield and attempt to grapple. Okay. So here goes an attack. I'm just gonna use my weapon attack just to roll something here. Sure. It's a 24. It's actually a 23 because my weapon was plus one. Listen now, I make an athletics check and he makes either athletics or acrobatics, whichever he wants. And whoever wins, if I win, I grab him and hold him and if he wins, he gets out.

What's his athletics? Oh Jesus. So athletics. God, I fucking damn it. It's a 10. 29. Okay. Well, I have a second attack. I guess I'll try again. I'm gonna let you know he's strong as fuck. Yeah, that was surprising. I'm gonna try again. I don't know what else to do. So here's this. It's a 23 again. Okay. And here we go. Athletics. 21 this time. 18. Got him. You got him. Nice. You just yoke him up by the collar, I guess. Eat his ass. I have a move. Yeah, he doesn't take kind to that. I imagine he wouldn't. Callie. Hi. Well, can I take my move action? Oh, wait. Sorry. That was my attack action.

Yeah. Are you moving over towards the thing? Yeah. I mean, I probably don't have the full action to throw him. I'm gonna go through with him. And dive through. Well. Let me look up the... 'Cause he's gonna be resisting the entire way. Yeah, so I've got the rules up. I mean, obviously you can rule on this, but... Right, right, right. No. So the target of your grapple bus must be no more than one size larger than you and must be within your reach using at least one... Okay, so we've already done that part. Escaping a grapple. A grappled creature can use its action to escape.

So he can't try to escape until his turn. Right. To do so, it must succeed on a strength athletics or dexterity acrobatics check contested by your strength athletics check. Moving a grappled creature. Okay. When you move, you can drag or carry the grappled creature with you, but your speed is halved unless the creature is two or more sizes smaller than you. My speed is halved. I can get... Are we in my square or his? You'd be in your square 'cause you're pulling him in? I pulled him to me, so I can get five, ten... I can't actually get to the gate this turn.

I can get to here with him. Okay, so you are dragging him with you. Mm-hmm. Okay, so let's keep him there for now, like, symbolically. Like, you are dragging him with you, and he is fighting and scraping... Like he's making noises that are just... Like he doesn't like being touched. Well, he seemed really into it when we started this whole thing. Well, that's different. Cali, you are up. All right. Then we're gonna do a thing. I'm gonna do a thing. If I move to just the other side of click four four, he doesn't get an opportunity to attack, right? 'Cause I'll still be in a space?

Yeah, you're fine. Okay, so I'm gonna move here. So I say, "Otolina," and I'm going to cast Heal at my singular seventh level spell slot, and she is going to get 80 hit points back. Holy hell! Wow! Is for me? For you. All for you. All 80 hit points. Oh! That's good. That's very good. Oh, yeah. And you wake up to find that Darmok is in the correct side of you. Exactly. Ooh! Alina would be so freaking pissed if she got knocked unconscious and then someone else pushed Darmok through. You've had enough. Let's not pretend you haven't had glory in battle. No kidding. Never be too great.

Well, good point. Good point. Cali, are you done? Yeah. Yeah, that's a big... Yeah, that's... And I'm spent. Here's what we're going to do. This is... So this place is starting to come down at the end of this round. Like shit's going down. I'm going to need everyone to do me a favor and give me a flat D20. Now here's what's going to happen. On a five or lower, a chunk of the ceiling is going to come out and slam you. Let's do it one at a time. Let's do it... Yes, that's right. You're still at 12 and just rolled 15 each. You're fine. Wait, right now or at the end of the...

No, right now. No, no, no. It just happened because we just reached the end of a... Round. Yeah, the end of a round. What do we have to beat? You want to roll six or higher. Oh. Helena, you're up. 12. Excellent. Slow roll over the two. I'm not going to support one. It's fine. Two. Okay. Who do we got left here? Tatiana. Three. Oh. Solidarity. I love it. That one was more important. That was... Well, Tatiana, I don't think has been touched this combat, so I think she's got some to spare. Who do we got left? Callie. 20. Oh, you're fine. Wow. Okay. You're fine. You're good. You did great.

Okay. 10 damage to Tatiana and Braelyn. Oh my God. That's a hefty library. That is going to be 33 damage. Not the worst. I think I am exactly where Toad. Zero. Or negative one. Negative one for me. Negative two. Right? Yeah. Three. Oh shit. Okay. So Braelyn's out again. I'm going to use my Uncanny Dodge to have that damage. That's probably smart. God damn it, Jamie Solon. She's a cat. Bro, it's so good. Click core. Number one is going to target Larg. Yeah, they're going to go into an all hands on deck situation here. You got their... Yeah. I was going to say you grabbed daddy.

I just... I'm going to stop. I hate you so much. I know. I'm going to stop. I'm so sorry. It's getting late. I've missed it. So clubbing claws to Larg with advantage. 20. 11 damage to Larg. Half that. God damn it. You're no better than Valerie. Do you know that? Proud of it. Hey bird. There we go. Uh, Jesus. Click core number three is going to ditch Brailin, move up here, and try to hit Larg. Is that an attack of opportunity for me? Well, not for Brailin, obviously. No. For Elena? It wasn't in Elena's range. Okay. Okay, so. Got clubbing claws. 24 will hit. Jesus Christ. Okay.

They're swinging for the fences, man. 20 damage to Larg. 10 damage. You motherfucker. I'm going to drink so hard after... No, I got work in the morning. Fuck! Uh, Tatiana, you are up. You're near the stairs. Would you like to leave? Um, no. Tatiana is not going to leave. Tatiana is going to move right up here and is going to use their shortsword on this click core number four with advantage. Let's do it. 25 will hit. Yes. 24 additional damage coming in. 32 damage to the click core. Damn, that's good. Hey. Brailin, can I get a death saving throw, please? You sure can.

Oof. Bop, bop. That's one. One failure. Kaladin. Um, Kaladin is going to... is kind of seeing what Larg and Elena are trying to do. Trying to clear a path as much as he can. And, damn, we're really worried about Brailin at this point. I'm going to do another... Okay, I'm going to do this five foot circle. Can I move it? Yes, I can. I can move it. Alright. Um, I'm going to do it there to try and get on this Turrag and I'm going to cast another... The same kind of thing that we saw outside, like a cloud overhead and some ice balls begin to pummel him right in his fiery little tummy.

Right. Um, let's see. I'm going to also spend some sorcery points to give him disadvantage on this. Yeah, I'm going to do 17. Alright, that should hit, I believe. I believe my save is 17. Okay. So either way he would have... yeah. Got it, got it, got it, got it. So I'm going to add five cold damage on top of this. Boom. There we go. Three, eight, here comes the damage. It might have halved that. Yes, it did. So that... okay. The Turrag was going next to hit Larg. The Turrag is dead now. Like, you've killed it. So, Darmok is right next to Larg, standing next to this gaping maul, this black looking portal.

That'll bring up Elena. Do it! Perfect. I can just push him from here, right? Or do I need to move over one? I would move over one. Okay. That's for my OCD mostly, but yeah. And that shouldn't do Attack of Opportunity, right? Because it's just like a disengage? No, no, no. Well, oh, you're disengaging with a K'lk'or. Well, technically we occupy the same square. No, I don't think you're legally allowed to. Honestly, there was a whole bunch of shit where you shouldn't have been able to drag him, but let's just ignore it. Because you can't occupy the same space unless you're some kind of, like, ooze or something like that.

So you'd have to drag him through a crab like, "Excuse me, excuse me, excuse me." Like, we didn't do that because that would be not as cool. So let's... You know what? Just go ahead, Elena. From there, you're fine. Okay. Okay, I get... 'Cause the... So for Pushing Attack, I use it after I know that I've hit someone. So I have up to two chances for Pushing Attack to work. So he's already targeted. I'm just gonna do a regular attack. So, hold on a second. Before you do this, describe the scene to me. Largs grabbed him, like, got him, and you're doing what? Like, describe what you're trying to do.

Yes. So, what I'm planning on doing is taking my Greatsword and lunging it, like, directly into Darmok's stomach. And then I'm taking my leg and I'm, like, putting my foot up against his torso and, like, kicking him away as I pull my sword out. Okay. Let's try it. Oh my god, 11's gonna miss. Okay, well... Okay, well, I get two more chances, so... 18's gonna miss. Yeah, okay, well... Well, if he's being held, doesn't it affect his arm? Oh yeah, aren't we getting... I'm getting at least a plus two, right? Okay. Describe the shove to me, real quick, how that works with your superiority die.

Mechanically, or...? Yeah, I mean, like, just read it off for me. Yeah, uh... So, basically, if I hit him, then I roll... then they have to make a strength saving throw, and if they fail, I push the target up to 15 feet away from me. Okay. Let me look it up to see if that... You're gonna get the plus two because you're standing next to it, like, you're grabbing him, so, like, you're standing next to him. So, if you wanna just go with that, we could say the 20 hits. Right. Do you wanna do that? Yeah. Okay. Yes. So, 20's gonna hit. Perfect. First, we'll do damage just for fun.

One. So, it's an extra one damage. So, nine... or eight. Yeah, eight. And then... Don't you get to reroll ones and twos? Oh, yeah, you actually... Shut up! What the fuck is wrong with you, Ian? [Laughter] Ugh. It's music. It's music to my ears. Wait on the next group. Oh, baby. I like that. What the fuck is wrong with you? Like, that's true anger right there. [Laughter] Go ahead and reroll it, Valerie. Okay. Cool. Cool. Let me do math. Hold on. So, now he has to roll a strength saving throw. DC 17. Hmm. 28. [Laughter] Oh, shit. Not a 17. The stronk. Yeah, he don't want to go.

Okay, so I didn't push him. And I'm pretty sure at this level I only get one action surge, right? Oh, yeah, 17 is when it goes to twice. But I don't think there's anything else I can do. Fuck. Yeah. That's it. Wait! Wait a second! Wait, I'm so sorry. I only attacked twice. 18 is going to miss, but you're standing next to Larg. 20 is going to hit. Okay. Then I'll use pushing attack again. Oh, Jesus. Okay. So, seven damage, and you're going to try to push again. So the first time you do it, let's say he's holding onto the rock. Just like that. Nails are just digging in and holding onto Larg.

And you're going to try this one more time. Come on, Elena. He's going to do a saving throw. Okay. And 17 is the number to beat? Yeah. 21. He does not want to go. Go to your home! You do good for your home. All right, Darmok's turn. All right, so if he wants to break out, we have to do another contested check. So, athletics. Oh, Jesus fucking God. Oh my God! That's a crit one! Too many hits. I think Larg weak. 25. Does that count as his action? That's a good question. Hang on. I think so? It can use its action to escape, yeah. I mean, he could have tried to hurt me while he was grabbed, but to escape it, he would have to use his action.

No, no, no. Never mind about that. You can grab him. He's going to attack Larg. Okay. He has advantage. 21 will hit. 28 damage to Larg. 14. Like, growl. I cannot wait till we make our own RPG. Holy shit, do I hate D&D. 93 is what you're left with. Okay. Sorry. Here we go again. 28 will hit. Yep. Cool. 20. Hold on. That's 20. Yeah. That's 20. Hold on. That might still be enough. I think that'd still be enough to knock you out. You don't have that one HP thing that you had a long time ago? No, I... Yeah, I'm still at half-orc, so I get back up, but I think it means I let go of him.

Do you get back up, or is it like... Yeah, hang on. Let me look it up. It's called "Fuck you." It's called "I can do that too." Man, you have a lot of stuff. When you are reduced to zero hit points but not killed outright, you can drop to one hit point instead. I don't go down. You don't go down, so you still have him. So he is going to attack and attack and just... I imagine there's blood everywhere, and you are... Like, you're down. Like, one eye's swollen and fucking like... You should be down. But you're gonna tap into something deep and hold onto him. Larg.

Yeah, I'm still raging, so we're both just a snarling, just bloody whirlwind. Like an alley cat fight, just nails and teeth everywhere. I'm gonna drag him through the portal. I'm just gonna go with him. Unless I can throw him, but he's so much stronger than me, all I can do is hold onto him and drag him through. It's up to you. You can attempt to throw. So let me tell you the situation. Would you like me to kind of set the scene? Please. After you is Callie. Which means, that is the end of the round. This place is coming down. You can see chunks of the ceiling coming apart.

These pillars are shattering. You can see that this place does not have long to go. If you step through, you are gone. Everything is forfeit. You're basically casting yourself into hell. And while Dormac will be locked away, so will you. With him. However, if you choose to try and throw him through, obviously, you might save yourself that fate, but it's up in the air. I would basically... I would set a DC, and you'd have to throw that. And if you reach the DC, you're going to push him into that portal. It won't be contested. He doesn't have to roll against you.

It's just your strength versus a DC. Yeah, I mean, with how hard he's fighting, and he essentially has almost ripped me apart anyway. I think Larg would drag him another five feet back to the edge of the portal, and then pause and just kind of look back at the rest of the group and say, "You need to run." "You need to get out of here." And he's going to fall through with Dormac. And Dormac is going to do everything in his power. He's going to grab the top of this rock, what he can reach. And a couple of his nails are going to snap clean off. He's going to dig in so hard.

And as his bloody fingers just reach around Larg as he falls in, I imagine the weight of Larg would be... He would fall in first and drag Dormac in. I mean, I don't want to say it's a suplex, but... Can I have you roll a d20, please? Okay. It's a five. It's a five, so it's not a suplex. But let's say it's a nice Russian leg sweep of a... And you two are going to go sailing in, and the group is going to watch you disappear into this portal. And a few seconds are going to go by while you are just tumbling in. And then this backdraft of energy is going to come exploding from this portal as it seals.

And blows these monsters that are remaining away. They turn to ash and literally just... This place is coming apart. Everyone who's still here unconscious, here's what we're going to do. Oh, man. I am going to have all of you... Roll an athletics check. If it's a 13 or higher, you're going to make it out of here before the pillars and the ceiling collapse. Does that sound fair? Um, do I have a time to get off a healing spell since I was supposed to go before the end of the round? You know what? I'm going to say yes. Thank you. I'm going to cast Healing Word on Braelon at the fourth level so that way he's conscious.

Okay. 19 health, back to Braelon. I'm alive! I know actually the first thing is like, "Go, go, go, go, go, go, go!" Yeah, I'm like pulling rocks and debris and shit off of you and like, "We gotta go, we gotta go!" "Get up." "Oh, no, wait, what happened?" Here's what we're going to do. We're going to start with Callie and one at a time we're going to go through the party. Callie, do me a favor. Give me an athletics check. Athletics. Looking for 13 or higher. Jesus! 23! That is incredible. Go athletic! Callie is going to take off running. A real inspiration to the rest of the party.

Tatiana, give me an athletics check, please. Oh, boy. Seven. I am going to point out to Karen, you have inspiration. I was just going to say, "Can I give you inspiration to talk to Karen?" You sure can. Give me another athletics check, Tatiana. Thank you. What? Oh my God! Oh no! It's worse. Oh no. I'm right there. You are right there. Alayna, do me a favor, give me the athletics check. Okay. Fourteen. You said we needed a thirteen, right? Yes, I did. Thirteen or higher. Braylin? Can I ask you something before the two of us make this? Sure. Can I forgo my check and instead cast Fly on Braylin?

That would essentially double his speed, right? Yeah. And I don't know if he still needs to make some kind of roll or something, some kind of thing, but I want to forgo my roll entirely, like auto fail it. I'd let you do that. To give him some kind of advantage. I'd let you do that. Alright, then Kaldin leans down to Braylin, wipes the dust and stuff off of his face. He gives him a hug and says, "Thank you. Thank you for everything." And then the wind is going to just blow up around the two of them, and Braylin will lift up off the ground a little bit. And Kaldin will say, "Go." Braylin, can you do me a favor, give me the athletics with advantage?

Oh, this, I'm going to cry. This is like, eh, I don't like this. 15. We dropped it too. As I float away, I'm going to say like, maybe I don't have control over it, and he's just like, he gave me a nice little push out, and the only thing that's going to come out of his mouth is, ah, ah, ah! And it's going to kill, you can't hear it over the sound of the temple collapsing, but he'll say like, "I love you, no!" And he can't do anything about it. He's just propelled. As you're flying out of here, the last person out of the room is going to be Tatiana. And here's what I'm going to need from Tatiana.

I'm going to need a flat d20. 1 through 10, something really bad is going to happen. 11 through 20, something less bad is going to happen. Bad or bad, I love my odds. Here we go. It's really bad. You guys, it's really bad. As you guys are getting out of here, Callie's going to take off. Alina's right behind. You know, Kaladin is going to bid a fond goodbye to his best friend, and Braelyn is going to shoot out of here. There is debris, there is dust, and visibility is so low, it's so frantic as everything shakes apart. Both Larg and Dharmak have cast themselves through this portal, and all of these monsters have turned into ash to dust, and just, it's filling your eyes.

It is going to be such low visibility, that Tatiana isn't going to be able to see that a piece of one of these pillars is going to break apart, and she is not going to outrun it before it crushes her spine. She is going to be pinned underneath one of these pillars as she watches the last of her friends run up these stairs. And in the few precious seconds that she has before she is completely buried under rubble, what would Tatiana be thinking about? I think... I don't think Tatiana is necessarily thinking of anything in particular. She is very in the moment, and as soon as she sees whoever the last person was to leave, she is just going to smile as the rest of the rubble sort of falls down on her.

This is going to start a chain reaction, and you guys are going to make your way through this complex as quickly as possible, as bits of this place are just falling. These stacks of books, these bookshelves are just going to tumble into each other like dominoes. Everything is just going to be ripped apart. And you're going to make your way up the stairs before the last of this dust-filled debris just sort of, again, backdrafts into nature and almost spits you out of this place. And Elena, Callie, and Braylin are the only ones left standing. And I think that's a good time for us to end the arc.

We really hope you guys enjoyed this arc three finale. A lot happened. We want to hear your comments. We want to read that stuff, so give us a comment. Let us know. Hit us on Facebook or Twitter or whatever, and we want to hear what you think about all this. I'm sure there will be a big discussion thread on our Discord, which you can join through our Patreon at patreon.com/dandr. We're currently posting a ton of behind-the-scenes stuff like our Fly on the Wall series, which is us discussing what our new gaming system is going to be piece by piece. We've recorded every single team meeting, and we're going to be sharing it with you guys, sometimes two or three recordings in a month, at the very least two.

So thank you all. We'll see you in just a couple of days for arc four. Take care, everyone.
