It's a second week in a row that we're going to be debuting a brand new group. These folks are going to be starting on the war-torn continent of Toulor. Before we get to that, we wanted to let you guys know that we did write a book this last year.
The Adventures Guide to Theria. Fallen. 1, Alara, is a massive 400-page book featuring everything that you would ever need to have a campaign launched in Theria. There's all kinds of random tables. There's a brand new class. There's information on every town and city on the continent of Alara. There's history. There's drugs. There's cooking recipes. There's drinking. And starting now, it's at a brand-new low price. You can click on the Amazon link below in this episode's description, and you can buy it from Amazon at $40 for the hard cover book. That's just $40 for 400 pages.
You can also go to the Drive-Thru RPG link and get the PDF for $20. If you do grab a copy or have grabbed a copy, we would very much appreciate you spreading the word, letting people know what you thought, and giving us a review. That kind of thing really helps out. We'd really like to spread the word of the show and let people know exactly. what we're doing over here. As always, we very much appreciate you sharing this podcast with your friends. Retweet this episode's link on social media and I will get ready and get out of your way. At the end of today's episode, you'll be listening to 10 minutes of a little program we call Fly on the Wall.
We're currently developing our brand new RPG and we're in the early stages. As such, we're having a lot of team meetings and you're going to be hearing 10 minutes of the very first team meeting. Obviously, myself and Brianna have talked about this quite a bit, but this is a team effort. And as such, we have a lot of members of the cast and pretty much all the members of the team that helped bring you the adventure's guide to Theria. You'll be hearing that at the end of the episode, and if you want to hear the rest of it, you can visit our Patreon at patreon.com slash d-A-N-D-R.
Now, we'll get ready and start the episode after a few words from our sponsors. Let's. table. Start with Karen. Karen, tell everybody out there a fun fact about yourself that they don't know. I hate you so much. That's... Everyone knows that. That's not new. Uh, like, what do you consider a fun, like, what is a fun fact? Like, what is a fun fact? Like, I think that's, that's up to you. What do you? What is Karen consider a fun fact? Um, a fun fact? Um, a fun fact. Um, a fun fact. Um, about me is that I can play four instruments. Really? Yeah. Which four? I can play the flute, the piccolo, the oboe, and the piano.
I did not know that. See, that's why I'm doing this, guys. Oh, okay. That's why I'm doing this. It's to, it's that now I'm going to use that in something. Somewhere, somewhere. I don't know what. Could be 10 years from now. Okay. Let's come back. All right. Alex, what musical instruments do you play? What do you do? I don't play musical instruments. I try to learn the acoustic guitar when I was young and I failed. If you had to only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? This is a very simple question. It would be sashimi. Oh. Oh. Because I thought of this scenario.
Because if you're like living on an island, castaway, right? You got to kill fish and cut them up. But you got to know how to cut them up. And I wouldn't know how to do it. I mean, you learn. Just as long as you debone it, basically. You learn as you get parasites. I watch that show alone on TV. I know what's up. Mandy. Yes. Hello. Would you? Hi. How are you? How are you? Welcome, welcome to the grade. Would you rather be stabbed to death or fall to death? Oh, I would rather be stabbed to death because of falling to death, I just, I have a really big fear of squishing death.
Like, being caught in the thing and going squish and falling is also a squished death. I'm like, I'd rather bleed to death. It would hurt like a mofo. But, you know, it's not being squished to death. That's fair. Okay. Yeah. Michael. All I have in my head is 27 stab wounds. It's just we find a cure for 12. How are you? This is amazing. Actually, this is great. I'm great. It's been a while. We've got to play D&B. I hope. Okay, let's get started. Awesome. So. That seems so wildly unfair. Yeah, that doesn't seem balanced. Life is unfair, guys. So I'm going to share a map with you because we're picking up today.
In an area that no one on the show has visited, no Patreon group has visited. We're starting on Kina Island. It is a tiny island off the coast of Toulor just to the west. It's actually to the north of West. Westport. And your ship, the Brutus, has stopped here and you're, you're kind of getting your bearings before we go in. And before I go around and get you guys to kind of introduce your characters and what you'll be doing, I thought each one of you could roll a deed. 10 for me. Just to kind of see where you're starting off because, well, we need to know what kind of ship, crew, cargo, and what kind of leads you have for upcoming sales.
So I think, I mean, I think we got to start with Karen. Karen, please pick one of the four things I just mentioned. Ship crew, cargo, leads. I feel like I should do cargo. Okay. So, you guys have come to Toulor. In search of new clientele, you are weapons dealers, your arms dealers. And if there's any continent in the whole of Theria, that is in constant need of new weapons, armor, artifacts, all that stuff, it's. It's to lore. The problem is it's a really tough market to break into. Because you're dealing with two sets of people who are deeply in love with their own culture and a wild card.
Which, by the way, we have finished artwork of all of them now. And I'll share those very soon. So it could be difficult. So, you're about to roll a 1D10 for me. Now, the lower the number, the less you have and the crappier weapons and armor you have, the higher you roll, the more precious and valuable this cargo is, could you please do me a favor and give me a D10? Sure thing. That's a four. It's not the word. worst. I'd say it might be time to restock. Maybe you, maybe you would sitting on this stuff for a while and you're like, oh, no, me, maybe they'll buy it.
Like, you're, it's like, I mean, we're, we're going to pack it up. But like, I don't think anybody's going to buy these Darth Mall lightsabers in 2020. I just don't, I don't, I don't think it's cool anymore. Michael. What would you like to roll for? Do you want to roll for the quality of the ship, The quality of the crew or potential job leads. Potential prospects. Customers. Your sales list. The Glengarry leads. Let's go a ship. Mandy, have you never watched Glengarry, Glenn Ross? What? You've never watched Glenn Gary, Glenn Ross? No. What is that? Always be closing.
Always be closing. Always be closing. It's a, it's a movie. It's about selling things. It's about salesmen. Oh. No. No. Sorry, Michael, I zoned out. I wasn't even listening to the thing you said. I'm so sorry. That's okay. I'm used to it. We're all very sassy tonight. I feel like we're... It's just, we just click. It's great. More of the options again. Wow! I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. The quality of the ship. Quality of the ship. Gidea. Give me a D10, please. Holy shit. That's a 10. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the finest chip. This honestly could get you in trouble here, honestly, because, like, you're pulling up in a Porsche in a very mid-sized sedan continent.
Like, you're, like, 10. Holy hell. All right. So the Brutus. The Brutus is stacked. Like, the finest amendment is the... Like, it's not a massive ship, but it's perfect for your needs. It's fast, it's sleek. It's got a big old cargo hold. Plenty of junk in the trunk. Like, it is... Perfect. Mandy. Do you want to roll for the crew? Or do you want to roll for potential leads? Hmm. I'm going to roll for potential leads. Hmm. I'm going to roll for potential leads. Okay. Give it to me. Give me a D10. Ah, p, bah, bah. Ooh, seven. I accept that. So you have, you have a few, like, pretty damn good leads.
It's like, okay, no, no, no. These people are serious about buying arms. We can sell to these people. Alex. I need you to roll for the crew. Please, give me a D10. Boy, here we go. you're going to do great. Ah, and five. It's a perfectly average group. Honestly, it kind of makes sense. Because you don't want people smart enough to try to muscle in on your business, but you want them smart enough to not get you drown. So, uh, five is perfect, honestly. So I would imagine it's been a pretty long voyage from a lot. And this is the... the first time you've seen solid ground now in probably a good week and a half.
And this little island here is Kina Island. And it is just north. You'll see that little blue dot of Westport. This island does have a nickname. Can anyone... Actually, you know what? Everybody, do me a favor. Give me... Give me a survival. Please. Give me a survival. And... you know, maybe someone heard about that nickname at some point. Oh! What? Who am I? Michael's starting off with a crit. Oh my God. So I think you would kindly inform the crew at some point. As you were disembarking and you're like stretching your finally, it's like, oh my God, solid ground. I could find something other than fucking fish.
Like, it's just, you know, there's, there's other stuff to eat. This island, a long time ago, with a crit, you'd know that this is, this is not a modern nickname, but it has retained it. Skinflay Reef has been its nickname for a long time. And that was because there was, um, warring bands of pirates that would bury different valuables. on this island and then they would fight over it. So to send a message to each other. What they started doing was capturing members of their crew and then flaying their skin. And what they would do is try to get as much of it in one peel as possible so that they can hang it from flags and let it dry in the sun.
And it would send a message when you look to your spy class and you're like, that's George. And you'd see, uh, George, uh, hang there. So again, that's pretty ancient history. But it's just a nice bit of culture. Nice bit of flavor for the area. I like to think that I couldn't remember the modern name and I heard the old name. And that's, that's all I had. It's like, oh, yeah. It's like, why would you call it that? It's so cool. So, so, Karen. Yeah. Paint a picture for me. What does the Brutus look like? Oh, I don't know anything about ships. Why would you? So make it up.
This is, this is, so Okay, here's the thing. If it's in. May? Yeah. How would your character have decorated the Brutus? Because it's such a fine ship. This is like factory. Like, it's got that new ship smell. Like, it's straight off the assembly line. So you don't have to worry about upkeep or anything. It's like you get to pick out throw pillows and stuff. Like, it's just aesthetics. How would you decorate this ship? I'm assuming it's yours based on the assemblage of your group here. the thing? Yeah. Tell us a bit about you. Tell us a bit about your ship. God, I hate.
I'm sorry. I hate being put on this spot so bad. I mean, it's going to happen. I'm going to do it. I know. And I got to get over it. It's fine. Wow. Do you want me to just like talk about them? Kind of like, what's going on? What's going on? Like, what's going on? Okay, here's what I want you to do. The camera pans in. They're doing that nice. We paid for a drone, that shot. Okay. So it's circling the ship. You guys, you know, you're tying off here. You're, you know, you're docked on skinflay reef. And it's beautiful. It is a beautiful tropical day. It's like 1.30 in the afternoon.
There are gulls overhead. they're right over they're flying by they're doing that thing with a coast on the breeze so they're like right in your face so like feathers are tickling your chin like over and over and over again now paint a picture what do you look like how are you are you are you just like standing proud over the thing do you want to get that bird out of your face what do you do? Um I feel like my character would be just like more concerned with you think. Do you want to get that bird out of your face? What do you do? Um, I feel like my character would be just like more concerned with. with like what everybody else is doing.
Like, are they doing what they're supposed to be doing? And are they doing it the right way? So micromanaging everyone and not really paying attention. I'm sorry. I asked what your character was doing. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. Oh, that's oh! Okay, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I told somebody in my character concept, and they're like, yeah, but like, this is, Are you supposed to, like, escape reality? But this is fun. This is fun to me. I don't know what you're talking about. Guys, let's do inventory. It's going to be great. I still haven't gotten a list, by the way.
I'm, okay. I just had you roll. I literally just had you roll. Okay. So here. So, okay. So, okay. To go back to the shifting, okay. Yeah. I think, I don't. think it's like super flashy. Like there's not like gold statue or like the thing on the front of the ship is not like a gold woman who's like naked or anything. I think it's just like all really, shut up. Uh, uh, fuck. You don't make it boring. I think it's just like very like, like, very like, at like, if a ship could be like classic, it would be that. It would just be all very well-made products. So I'm just stated.
Yeah. Yeah. But, like, if you look at, you're like, that's a nice shit. Like, you know, like, when people walk in the house, I'm like, oh, my gosh, look at this, like, great hardwood floor. It's such, it's so pretty, like. What color is the ship? Do you have, like, a color scheme going on? Is it just wood? It's okay if it's just wood. It's like, like, you know, like Barnwood is, you know, it's like, reclaiming barnwood. Something like that where it has, like, character to, the texture. I was like, what is that word? Okay. So tell me a little about you. What's your character's name?
What are they doing? What's their... what's their purpose? What are they... What are they... Like, it's... It's a brand new place. Like, what... Um, so my character, her name is Delphine Gray. Obviously, we are working for the gray. So it's my family's business. And Delphine is an elf. So she is pretty tall. She's like around six foot and very slender, like kind of wayfish, maybe tripping over things. Might come up a time or two. Bumping into things. She's probably got a ton of bruises on her arms. has no idea where they came from, not from personal experience or anything.
I need you to do one more thing in a second. And then I'll stop picking on you. Go ahead. I was going to think she has like kind of shoulder length, really black hair, like, like really dark black hair. And then she's got green eyes. And she's very pale because she doesn't go out much. Actually, she probably is a sunburn. I was about to say, yeah. On the sea for a while. So she's very red because she is sunburned. Here's what I'm going to get you to do. Mm-hmm. I want you to come up with a name for one member of the crew and give them one word characteristic for me.
I don't know why if I... instinctively said Jerry. And I just thought gross. Jerry gross. There is somebody on this crew that I absolutely hate. And it's Jerry. And he doesn't do things the way I want him to do them. And he... God, it's a parks of red character. Oh, no. Oh my God, I didn't even think about that. He's a live and well in there you. So that's forever. That is, that's canon. That stays. Michael. Tell us a bit about yourself. Sure. My character's name is Tucker Featherite, but I go by tuck. I'm a massive. Massive six-foot minotaur. I don't know how big thing that's one's pretty good.
Six-foot would be on the puny side. Oh, all right. You know what? Use your imagination and some tall monitor and then it's me. I'm, I'm intimidating. I'm going from an old character that was much small, five to you, six foot's huge. All right. That's fair. Anyway, not to break character. He's got a lot of scarring on him, and obviously he's been through a lot of things. You will see a metallic pen flute on his side, a large helbert on his back, the two handouts is on the side, the hand-nexes on the side, other side, and generally walks back and forth in the ship, because it's such a headhead on his back, the two hand-ecks is on the side, other side, and generally walks back and forth in the ship, because it's such a little bit.
It's still a confined space. Many of the crew don't stay away from him. As he'll just go back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. I don't think I know here or any of But make it up and I look great I've Michael I've known you for what like five years now Four or five years? Sounds right I don't think I've ever heard you raise your voice Not once and I'm I can't wait to see you play a character with a temper Yes this is going to be I want to see what your interpretation of a temper is like I want I have three kids. Right. I know it's in there.
Like, I know, like, deep, deep, and, like, you just, yeah. Yeah, this will be fun. I came into this, and I was thinking about the character. And that's why I'm going to be doing this in my serious voice when I talk. And dark, I'm going to shred voice in my disappear. So apologize to everyone. But I'll do my best. But I'm going to do this as in the Hulk. You don't like me when I'm angry. kind of feel. And it'll be fun. And crazy, and I love it. Oh, I have one else, too. Oh, yes. That's a lot of now. Yes, you have. Oh, God. Yeah. You're like a, you're like a, you're like a, wow, you're Wow.
That's insane. So, do me favor. Give me a name of someone on this crew and give me a one-word description of their personality. Jonas. I have two words that are going to decide between. OCD. Oh, good. I don't like that. Joan is probably a best friend Karen. I was going to, I was thinking, either incompetent or OCD. I don't like either of those. Thank you for your contribution. You are welcome. Maybe tell me a little bit about yourself. Okay. I am playing. Rosalie Lee Arjun, but you never call her Rosalie because she will punch you on the dick. And she is a tall, older woman in her late 40s.
What? I just watched Alex lose his mind. I just thought that was funny. So, yeah, she's in her late 40s, and so she has very short-cropped arbor hair that's pretty salt-pecky because she's getting up there in age and very broad-shouldered. muscled. And she carries a glaive on her back. So obviously, her fighter. And every now and then, she'll kind of discreetly cough into a handkerchief and just put it away. Oh, no. It's 2020. You can't do that. I know, but yeah. Oh, no. Oh, no. She's got the COVID. Sorry. That's no. We're all going to die. Get her off the boat.
Daring COVID's like only a little bit more worse than like what we're got now. I need you. to give me the name of someone on this crew and give me a one word description of them. Okay. We're going to go with the J-sounding thing, so it's going to be Jeannie. Jeannie. And description. A sheenie is ADHD. Okay, now I feel cold out. All I'm going to say is this is too close to real life. They're just going to form a podcast. You know that, right? That's all they're going to do. You're going to get them together. Alex. Who you play? I am playing Tobin. Yamon-Amonero.
He is a teetling. Kind of the deep, deep red. So almost purple, like right on the borderline. Short horns. He's. got kind of that, if you'll allow it, the mischievous kind of tail, like the nightcrawlerish tail. Oh, yeah. I'm getting in his Azel vibe already. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Okay. So he does have kind of like his normal, whatever traditional monastery gea was given to him. From a long time ago, when he was younger, it was for him to grow into. It has seen better days. It's scuffed up. But like, the edges are crisp. still. He tries his best to keep looking as nice as he can, but you can tell there's an element of slacker to some of the things he does.
Deep, very deep kind of yellow eyes. Almost like a cat's eyes. And he's got kind of like the very slim jaw line. Okay. Very lean-billed. Could you do me a favor? Sure. Give me the name of someone. The last member of your crew. I'd like to. to say there is a person named Adelbert and the word I will describe them as is naive. He is my other best friend. I'm going to walk all over that person. Okay, so we're... You guys have stopped and you figured, you know what, it's probably a good idea for us to not just pull up into the nearest town or something like that.
Until we've evaluated our leads, take a look around, that stuff, and just kind of get the lay of the land, right? You want to develop the pitch. So right off the bat, I can tell you, the cargo that you have on you now is a four out of ten for sure. You have. You have some halfway decent spears, about 500. A halfway decent speed. So let's, let's, let's. Let's. Let's. Let's. So I'll mark that down here. I would even label them as decent. And you also have 200 long bows. These long bows are fine. Honestly, if anything, you could use more of them. You're getting low.
But this is all of the stock that you've come to the world with. Now, the good news is you guys have 4,000 gold. in the business account. However, you want to, you know, you guys are, are good savers. So, 500 decent spears, 200 longbows. Now, Jerry, after you guys pull up, you know, you get a little drawbridge down and stuff like that, you know, Jerry's going to kind of walk up, tug on on Delphine's, like sleeve, something like that. I'm... Miss Delphine. Yes, Jerry. I imagine... I don't want to put words in your character's mouth, but I imagine there's that...
Like that pause, like your... like your eyes tight, just like... This motherfucker does it. Like that... So he's going to take that as you didn't hear him. Oh. Miss Delphine! Just like right in your ear. Can I help you, Jerry? Hmm. So, I know you're not a big fan of a mess in the kitchen area, but I started four different sauces. Now, I wanted to surprise you, but I'm out of pens. So if you found a protein on that island, I could make you a friend. fantastic dinner. I really... I want to pay you back for this opportunity. Four sauces! Like, he's gonna, like, jazz hands.
Like, he's got options. He knows you like options. He's out of pans. Is that what he said? He's out of pans. Like, he can't start another sauce. He was going to start just keep making sauces, but he's out of, he's out of pans. You guys only have four pans. are there any that's a lot of sauces Jerry this is a problem he came to you with like this is what he's like no this requires the captain's immediate attention how about we pause on the sauce making how about we pause on the sauce making right because we don't want to our food to go bad. We don't want to make too much.
And then, and then make more. And then the stuff we made is going to go bad because we want to, you know, conserve as much food as we can while we're here. Why don't we wait to make more sauces until the sauces that you've made are eaten? So more sauces? No more sauces. No more. No more. No more. No. No more sauces. Okay. Okay. What do you want me to do with these? Um, the sauces? Do we have like a storage container? Like a pan? Mm-hmm. Another very deep breath. Just like that. Just like that. Maybe. Oh, God, I don't want to say bucket because who knows... What a question?
What? What time of day is it? It's like 1.30 in the afternoon. How we had? Like, is it lunchtime? Like... No, he's prepped it for dinner. Like, he's prepped them. Like, it's like... Because everyone's excited. It's like, oh, man, we're going to have different. cuisine. It's been a week and a half. We're gonna, like, something's on that island we can eat, like a fresh bore or like, uh, you know, when you find like wild chickens or hens or something like that, something, you know, fucking seagulls, just grab one of those out of the air. Seagulls. Again, the seagulls are just like coasting in.
Like near the ship. Um, why don't we just put lids on top of them? And then they'll, they'll just like coasting in. Oh. Like near the, near the ship. Um, um, why don't we just put lids on top of them? And then they'll, they'll, they'll, oh. hopefully stay warm for dinner. That is why you're the captain. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Thank you. Um, anything else you need, Jerry. Nope. Thank God. He's going to give you this. Like, a big old salute. He's going to take off running. And there is a 30% chance. He's going to make more sauce. There's a 30% chance he's going to make more sauce.
I cannot guarantee you that he is not going to try to make more sauce. God. Is God. I feel like... You know what the crazy thing is Jerry's not even the cook. Like he's not, he's just, he just took it upon himself. That's an initiative. Like he just, you'll lead by example. I just want to grab somebody, like literally anybody else. Whoever is around and just... Please do not let Jerry make any more sauces. Okay. Not only can you not trust Jerry, but now there's a crewmate who is in charge of babysitting the first guy. You can't be trusted. Yes. I have a captain.
I delegate tasks. Okay. That is two crew members who are now incapacitated and cannot do anything else. just like, keep him occupied. Like, what are you working on? Like, can you bring him with you? With whatever you're doing? Can you give me a 1D4, please? Yeah. Okay. So you're going to stop Jeannie. And Jeannie's really excited to tell you. about the 15 different ideas she has started for a book that she's going to be working on. But she hasn't started writing anything yet, but she's really excited. She's got like the first two-thirds of 15 books ready to go.
And she starts telling you about one of one of them. She's going to grab them. It's like, okay, it's about adventure on the high scenes. But, okay, wait, to tell you that I need to go back and tell you about the setup for the story. Oh, wait. One second, Jeannie. I just remember something that's very critical. I need to go find, I need to go find Lee. I'll let you finish later, okay? Okay. Okay, like flustered that you, like you derailed them. That was going to go on for a while because they have to keep, it's like, oh my God, I got to tell you about ships. first.
So, wait. The inspiration for the story. Yeah, okay, that's fine. Yeah, they'll, they'll, they'll, they'll just let you go. It's like, oh, okay. And then they'll go find. They'll go find Jerry. Thank God. So I assume you're pulling the team together here. Yeah. It's Crucify. It's not bad. It could be worse. Could be better. I shudder to think what a one would have been. I mean, they're not murderers. They all be thoreen. And would cry. We'd cry so much. Please, let me slip a Dawnstar onto this boat. There's one hide in the sails or something. I will take the ship back. we will turn around.
I'll allow you, Madam, to assemble the crew here. Well, not the crew, but the team, the group. Okay. I feel like we should do it. Like, is it? There's like a captain's quarter. Is it a captain's quarter? Let's do it in a captain's quarter. Yeah. Totally. That way we don't get distracted. Where is everybody? Where are you? What are you? What are you doing? Who are you? I think Lee would just be us standing up up top, just kind of watching everybody. She's like, I don't get paid to do the ship stuff, so I'm just going to watch and just kind of... She's hired for probably other reasons, so she's like, oh, she can get chip people.
So she's just standing there. And when you call, she's like, all right, boss. Perfect. I imagine the tuck stands at one part of the ship, and then Gene will come up and start talking about it. The books or whatever or any of that, and then he just shrugs and walks to the other part of the boat. And then she, Jesus, she, right? Or is it a... And then comes up, continues to do it again. And I get angry and move to another part of the boat. Like, it's just this like... And then finally she goes, like, oh, yeah, I was still to go to Jerry. And then finally, when I'm, like, finally leaving to be like, oh, I need this.
This is very important. And I just stare and I walk off to go into the captain's quarters. Alex, can I get a name? Any name? Any name? Let's go with Gielberg. So if you enter these captain's quarters, there's going to be cat for. everywhere. Now, there is like this, this fat main coon-looking cat. Just this big, adorable, overfed, roly-poly fat cat. And Jonas is going to be brushing this cat out. But Jonas will also stop every couple seconds to try and scoop up all of this cat fur. But then, realize that there's still parts of the cat that haven't been brushed out yet.
So it's a never-ending cycle of clean, clean, clean, brush, brush, brush, brush, clean, clean And it's just going to go, like this fur explosion is going to, I imagine, like, Delphine opens the door and just like, just, like, okay, okay, okay. Like, you know, Jonas is trying to do a nice thing. Wait, is this Jonas's cat? Is this my cat? Who's cat is this? Where does this? Roll a D20. Roll a D20. 11 or higher, it's yours. God, I really. The one time I want. one, a natural one. Of course, you're not going to get it. That's in 19. This, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, know, but like, it's been here since the ship was here.
I think it stays for the fish. Oh, God. I don't even know how to react. I think this is Garrett's worst nightmare. Yeah. So, like, real life, I'm allergic to cats, so this would be absolutely the worst. The worst. Is your character allergic to cats? God, no, I can't do that. No. I can't do that. No. Because I really do love cats and I can't. I can't. I need to cuddle a cat in real life. Or like fake life, if we can, really. This? Okay. This cat will keep you one. This is a big old cat. Okay, I'm just going to scoop her up and just love him. I don't even care about the hair.
So you're going to... So, okay, just... two things distinctive about Gilbert. Gilbert is the chillest cat, right? Yes. So, like, you're going to pick up Gilbert and Gilbert's just going to go... Just like that cat thing, of just like, blah. But, like, it's all cat features up here. And then as you go down, it just... Wah. Like, it just kind of, like, swells out. And his little tail curls up around the side of his tum. And, yeah. What are you coming? I know Gilbert in real life. I'm so happy. I said, Gilbert does more than... I already have a canon for guilt. Gilbert does more than the crew members, okay?
He keeps the, like, he catches all the rats, and he keeps, like, that all, like, in check. He's Gilbert the one keeping the average of the crew up. The five. He's so fop. So. So. So. So, Jonas would totally, like, it's like, oh, sorry, man, just, like, hold up, like, hold up Gilbert. And Gilbert's just like, just going to, like, one slow lick. And then Jonas will leave you to it. Oh, thanks, thanks. All good things about Jonas now. Thank you so much, Jonas. And I just like throw the cat over my shoulder. Like a lumpy scarf. Like it's trapped. Like petting his little belly.
Like, oh, you're such a good boy. It's going to be so hard to act to angry. I'm sorry. The floor is yours, Madam. Oh, we're supposed to... Wait. You got your team assembled. Do I? Is Tobin here? Yep. Tobin would have heard. or seen you calling people together. And I think he would have just been busy trying to steal money off the crew by playing, like, card games or something. Taking to leave. And then as he saw everyone get in the room, get a little flustered. Like, no, nobody called me. And then come in the room after everyone else did. And then he's going to catch some of the lingering hair.
And it's going to get on his teethling skin. And he looks at it and pulls it off very slowly, shakes his head and flicks it on the ground. I feel like you guys hate Gilbert so much. Like, everybody just like... Bandy certainly does not feel like. I know. I love. So much love. Oh, make we love him. What colors Gilbert? Oh, um, he's up like a main moon. Um, it's like a deep silvery gray, like something like that. Yeah. But he's got like black patches, like on top of his head. Maybe he's got little socks. Kitten mittens. Yeah. All right. I'm sorry. Not real socks. They're like...
No. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Sorry. Alex looked perplexed. Like, you put socks on that. No, I was thinking of kitten mittens from its always sunny in Philadelphia. Oh, yeah, yeah. Also, I have an image I want to share with you guys. I'm going to put it in our Slack talk real quick. There it goes. That's what I envision. That is a big... Yes. That is perfect. I love that big cat. Yes. I imagine it's half the size of... Like, yeah, no, just like half the size of Delphine. Like, just... Nice. It is a big ass cat. It's like a dire cat. It's like a dire cat. It's like a dire cat.
Dyer cat. That's a dog that like, um, gnomes ride. It's the cat version of that. Yes. You know what? Canonically, yes. That is, yes. Nice. Book two, everybody. Book two. Come on. Okay. Okay. So. Oh, God. Here's the thing. It's like, I'm the planner. I need to have a plan. This blows. Here's the thing. This is a softball. Like, I'm just planning a dinner right now. You're good. Like, it's. Okay. I mean, like, as far as leads, like, do all of us know the leads? Is it, like, something, like, is it on paper? Like, where... Well, I mean, closers get the leads. But, like, um... I'm sorry!
I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Um... I... Okay. Here I'm going to label three spots on the map where you basically know that people are looking for weapons. Now, you would know a certain amount about these people, but you're kind of walking in blind because this ain't your hood. Like, you're kind of like, you know what I mean? So I'm going to put some squares on the map. Oh, shit, we're not going to that one. No way. Kid to me? What's wrong down there, Alex? There's mountains down there, Karen. Well, okay. Newark. Sure. It's okay. But mountains are the same in every universe and dimension in time and space.
A boat. Oh, that's right. We do. Never mind. You're right. You're right, Captain. You're right. That's what? No. How about it? The general layout of Toulor, you would know, is kind of... There's a 38th parallel, basically. And I would... Let me see. I'm going to draw a line. And right about... He... He... He... He... He... year-ish. That divides to lore in two. Now, Kala is the home city of the lineborn. So the northern portion of the continent is pretty much theirs. Southern portion, Kossana, is the largest city dedicated just to the Giftsarai. Now, there's a third faction now, because Group C, C, kind of kicked some stuff. stuff off.
So now there's a third derpy faction in into lore. Excuse me? Dirty? Look, hold up. I'm gonna fucking... You show the best boy some respect. Look, I love them. Look, I love them. But they... The Tozaf are... Are... They're Pippin. They're Pippin. Guys. Yeah, they're Pippin. And if you've ever seen Pippin, you know what to expect. They are not the, they're not the smartest. They're not the most physically imposing. They stand at around two and a half feet tall or so. They work with crude tools and weapons. Let's see here. Dda, da, da, da. But they know. good food. They know what they consider.
Yeah, they know food. Just kind of... They know food. That is one of their languages, yes. I'm just going to share that with everybody. And that'll pop up eventually. But yeah, there's a third faction on to Lord. Oh, my God. It's polarized. Boy. Oh, that's so good. Oh, that's so good. No. Hold on. Next character, I'm making a little. because of it's angry about. Like, he's trying to be tough. You got to, you got to beat up the biggest guy in the yard. This guy definitely was a wrestler in high school for sure. So, like, they're on the continent. And they can be bartered with.
I don't know how cash rich they are. But like, yeah, that's one of your leagues, solidly. Right in the middle of the continent. there. You'll see south-east of Westport. All the way to the south. There's a place called the Allard, and that is where, essentially where monks are trained in these, these, I mean, Alex would know. That's basically where they come from. There's a whole sect of schools that teach people the ways of the fist. To the north, just to the east. Just to the north, just to the... the southwest of Kalam. There are a group of lionfolk who are sort of going rogue.
What they want to do is they want to attack some people just outside of Westport, which is kind of a no-no. There's kind of... Westport is in neutral territory. It is sacred ground. Can't attack anybody there. There's nothing to say that you can't attack somebody outside of Westport, but there's kind of this... Like, it's like, okay, the further outside of Westport, the better. You can't wait for somebody to just throw across the threshold of the gate and stab them. Like, it's like, you know, it, yeah. But that's exactly what these lion folk want to do. And they need weapons.
And you know that. And they're desperate. So, so those are three leads. And each one of them are going to be willing to pay you different. ways. Obviously, the Toz-eth again, not cash-rich, but they might be sitting on some gemstones and some artifacts that they don't know the value of. It's just really shiny. Sorry, Jason. What's the northern area called? That's to the west of Kala. The other lead? Yeah, yeah. Is that a place where a landfill car in that little square? Or is that just a general vicinity? Oh, that's just, just a general vicinity for them. Like, that's, yeah, yeah, they're just, that's kind of where they're stationed, like, putting together a plan.
And is it? And is it? Lion folk? Or is it different? A lot of life. Okay. Where are we currently? Are we next to that island? You see that little blue circle? Yeah. If you zoom in. Okay. That's where we are. I figure we're on that island. I just wanted to make sure. Yeah. So you guys can basically just take the dig. You're like, I don't know, eight, nine miles outside of the floor proper. Depending on where you want to dock. And you can, you can. take the day, get a nice meal in you, relax, and then formulate a plan. Totally up to you. How are we on rations? I mean, with the money you guys are sitting on, I would imagine that you left Alara with a pretty bulky supply of food and fresh water and all that stuff.
Like, I imagine you came pretty prepared. And this ship is fucking beautiful, wonderful. So you probably had a relatively... pleasant voyage, honestly. So this has been almost... I don't want to say the word boring. Uneventful is what I would say. You mean safe? Ord? Safe. Totally safe. Wonderful. Boring. Come on. Save. Tuck is totally bored. And he'll bring up the rations even though he knows. Don't we need food. Because he wants to get off the ship and go do something. Go stretch his legs. Go... Food? We need... or something. I look over it. So like, kind of a, kind of like a, like a busy work chore.
Like, you're like, it's like, I'll go check the mail just because you haven't been outside all day. And it's like, fuck it. Like, I need to get out of here. I've been going across this boat back and forth, running away from Jeannie all day. I love El to Death. That's how she tells stories. I love it. I love it. Especially if there's a. lot to read. She once tried to tell me the entire story of like World of Warcraft and like, oh my God. I love her, but it's like, there's a point. We're years into the relationship. And I looked at her as like, sweetly. I don't care.
I don't care. And I mean that in the most loving way. I don't. I am not invested at all. We laugh about it now. We're divorced, but we laugh about it. I mean, Delphine is open to suggestions. Like, if we're just going to, like, take the day to, like, kind of settle in, like, what is everyone want to do? I think we have a suggestion. Go find some food. Tobin is going to look to talk. and then look to the captain. He's going to say, with all due respect, Captain. I think the longer you keep tuck, cooped up on the boat, the closer you're going to be to having somebody thrown off, and by somebody I mean, Jeannie.
That's an option. No, no. He's up his hand. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no Westport. Maybe buy something or some things that we might need and pick up any other leaves that we might find. I know we have these. He's going to like look at the three of them on the map. These three wonderful, beautiful leads. But, you know, treasures that are half buried aren't always the best ones to take first. Jason, how long would it take to get to Westport? I mean, with the winds the way they are now, probably like, I don't know, an hour or two. It's not terrible. I mean, oh, I don't want to leave the shit.
I mean, you have a crew to watch the shit. Like, that's their job. Well, maybe not like four of the ones we named. That makes me uncomfortable. Name another one. We'll just come up with the... No, because I think Gilbert is a fine. I think we have Pete at Gilbert. I'm about to say, just, yeah, just leave Gilbert. Like, it's like Gilbert, you're in charge. No, I want Gilbert to come everywhere with me. Oh. RISky. Very risky. There's, I love him. See, here's the thing. Now you can ask yourself, when I killed you. Yes, you would. I know you would. God, I don't know if I'm willing to chance it.
But what benefits would it would it bring to the party? out and about. Cats are pretty intuitive, is all I'm saying. That is the most cloistered, guarded, fat cat. There's no instinct left in that animal. It's never had to fend for itself. It's not. It takes like one. Somebody with like a piece of meat or something to lure him away. I was going to say the only instinct Gilbert has is like, That's it. I... I... I... I'll tell you what. For... Okay. For everything except for a very specific reactions, I will give you a plus two. To any charisma-based check. If you are holding...
Guilme... I have to be holding him! Somewhere on your person. Okay. As long as you have Gilbert in tow. I don't know if you have a special bag or you have a backpack with a little window. You have my size. I can't. There's no way. But like, okay. Shut. Hold on. Let's start. Let's do some math. Let's do bare math for Gilbert. So the typical cat, I have a fat cat. His name is Loki. He weighs about 11 pounds. So if we were to do. size that up. And basically, turn a cat into a lunacized creature. You're probably looking at about 35, 40 pounds of cat. That's a big cat. That's a big fat cat.
Yeah, it's about the size of my three-year-old. I can carry that. Okay. Honestly, like this, I've described Gilbert as a big, chill, fat cat. So it could be like draped around your shoulder. I can carry that. I can carry that. around your shoulders. That's weird. You got a dire cat. Like what? You tell me what the common... I have one of those side bags, like, you know, and he just like, chill. It's like a gym back. Yeah, it's like a double bag. It has a belt, and so the other side has like a counterweight. Uh-huh. I like... I like this. You're carrying. Gilbert's probably know that's to Westport.
That's all I'm saying. The IKEA bag. So I picture like while you guys are hiking around, just like this bag is like, like, mhm, mow, mow, like it's just bumping into your thigh over and over again. He doesn't go everywhere with me, just most places. Okay. Yeah, I think that's... Are you taking them now? Yeah, we're going to Westport? That's up. Is that where you guys want to go? The captain. I think we would speak up after, like, staring at the map for a bit. I'm not being the map. I am pacing. Do you think that we might take the least reputable option? Or there's a chance for it.
If so, we might not want to be... docking in Westport where we could leave trail of ourselves. We might want to stay here until we make a decision if you feel that is an option we may take. Can I make a suggestion? Not to influence anything. So you're on this tiny island, right? And uh, right? And, uh, great. Right now, there are no stakes here, right? This isn't about your reputation or anything like that. And you guys are playing, you guys are playing relatively new characters. What about a tune-up game? What if you were to just hunt for dinner and we'll roll on a table?
And I'll throw some little you dad or creature at you, and you guys can, like, work out the kinks. Oh, please. Okay. That sounds fine. Yeah. Doug is off the boat now. Just like jumps over the... And never mind. There he goes. Dives off. Everyone's cuddling over the map and then like, yeah, I think maybe... Well, hey, Tug. Where to go? Right over the hand roll. Just gone. Um, you know what? Like I'll do me favor. And... And... Okay. This table is not arranged in any particular. order. So you don't have to worry about a one or a 20, blah, blah, blah. It's just, just give me a D20.
Absolutely. 19. There we go. It's a party of dire cats. And they are going to... So here, you know what? Here's what we're going to do. It's what we're going to do. I love this already. I got to tell you guys. Is it really dire cats? No. I'm not a monster. I was like, how dare you? No, it's way too soon to start twisting it. We will be doing, if it's dire cats, we will be doing animal handling checks and acquiring more star cats. All those rations are gone by the end of the week. Like we should. Between one guy making four different sauces and fucking. Just all the place still in sauce, pans, and then you should say...
All the kinds are full of cats. Oh, do you need more pans? No, not more pans, Jerry. Damn it, Jerry. Yeah. This will be fine. All right, so here's what we're going to do. Here's what we're going to do. We're going to put you guys on a map. And I'm just gonna kind of just to put you on there in no discernible order. Like no real reason for anything. So you guys are going to be kind of poking around here. You disembark. You're looking around. You're just looking for something to eat. Again, it's kind of a busy work chore, right? Like you're just like, look, we have rations.
We're fine. But like, I'm tired. of, you know, preserved meats and stuff. And you just like fish. It's like, fine. Okay. Let's get out there. Let's go hunt something. Which one of you would be the tracker? Who's your, who's your nature's specialist? Oof. I ain't caring anymore. No. Maybe. Anybody? Maybe it's Lee, I think. I don't have survival. I have wisdom. A plus one. I can tell you right now. I guess I could. What did you? What did your survival? I am a plus two. I mean. I got damn. I'm a plus five. Hey! Nature care and nature care. I'm like, get out there. Let's do it.
Okay. I'm like, get out there. Let's do it. Okay. I think a racist because I'm an elf. So, for everybody out there, I offered the gray a deal. I offered every other group of deal. I played a game show with you guys. It really was. And slowly but surely, I whittled it resolves. I've coaxed, I cajoled, I did a bunch of stuff. And basically, you guys. guys got a lovely, a plus one weapon, plus one armor. And in exchange, we kind of, we kind of fiddled with some stats a little bit. You got a ton of money. And one of your stats is a 20. Boom. One of your stats is in the crapper.
I believe it, was it like a two or three, a three? A three. Yeah. And then, you know, there's some racial mods and stuff like that. So there's definitely going to be some bad roles. Because we decided it was random, which one that is. So, for example, Mandy, did you tell everybody out there what your dumpstack turned out to be? A dumpstat is Constitution. Yeah. That is a four. All said and done in Constitution. But again, Got a lovely plus one piece of armor. I'm a spider. So it's going to be great. Everything's going to be awesome. So I just wanted to put that out there.
Now, you guys are going to be kind of poking through. And there's, like, there's so many sounds in this place. It's so vibrant and green and alive. There's going to be these tiny little lizards that are going to be. kind of crawling all over these big palm fronds. So like every time you walk by, like, they're going to kind of like slip by. And like Gilbert kind of like lazily kind of like, not go after it, but just like if one wandered into his pole, maybe. And you're going to hear, you're going to hear birds calling. And then you're going to hear another sound.
Give me a perception, please. First perception check. Oh, damn. Oh, rips. Well, okay. So, okay. Tobe and get a five. Everyone else is doing pretty good. Delphine and Tricar. You're going to hear a noise, and I'm going to try to approximate it. But it's kind of a... Like this weird, kind of like the velociraptors from Jurassic Park and a two can. Like a weird kind of like a hybrid of those two. It's kind of a, it's like it wants to call or like screech, but there's this kind of raspy, reptilian kind of feel to it. Like that. Oh, scuttle from Little Mermaid. Like, you're also. going to hear like these big heavy like fast footsteps.
And you're going to hear like pomfrons kind of like violently. And then you're going to hear nothing. Does it sound like it's coming closer? Oh yes. Excellent. Like clever girl closer. Oh, it's like circling us? Yes, definitely. You get the impression there is more than one. Oh. Gilbert is agitated. But he's not showing it. No, he's just kind of like... Like he's get that sour face, cats get sometimes. I'm not going to do anything about this. But I need to express that I'm displeased. I would like to pull out my pan flute and try to mimic the sound with my pan flute.
Are you? Okay. Are you trained in pan flute at all? Like you think you're barred. So like, yeah. Yeah. Wow. That comes back. I have been taught by the great city of, and I know a thing or two. And that is what I believe in my head. What you hear, maybe it's. Okay, so here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to give you, hold on, I need... That'll be my inner dialogue versus how I talk. Can you give me a pan-flute check? That's an 11. I think it sounds amazing. So, everything's going to stop dead when you do that. Like all the footfalls, all the, like that, like that, like, all that's going to stop.
And right in front of Tkar. These palm fronts are going to separate. and the ugliest chokobo is going to be staring at you. Think up, like, picture like a lizard and a chokobo had a baby, but it's just these big, ugly features. And then snaking around the back of its head is this stinger-like tail. Oh. Can I get you to roll initiative? of everyone. Oh, damn. They got stingers. I got stingish, baby. What the fucking... I think it's time for a classic. We've never had one of these on the show before. Okay, but like, what? I've never... What is it? Chico Ball? Like, what?
Can someone like... Okay. It's not... It's like an ostrich, but I can sit on. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. And a shorter neck. There you go. That's what they look like. Whoa. Level three. Okay. I see what you're doing, Jason. Let's see where you're trying to... Yeah. We see where you're trying to... Yeah. Yeah. And a shorter neck. There you go. That's what they look like. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. do to us? Cockatrice is baby. Oh, God. So, in the spirit of half of the name of our show, I've introduced one extra change. At the end of every round, we will randomly be re-rolling initiative every single time.
The table's automatically going to handle it. Don't worry about it. But initiative order is going to change every single round. This is a variant rule. I kind of love it. Oh, shit. I'm here for it. Mandy's made her feelings clear. Mandy doesn't like it. It's fine. I like it. I like it. I'm all about chaos this arc. I'm down. My cat. I'm so glad I chose... Wild card. The fucking sub-whatever. I'm glad I have a plus five to initiative. I'm cool. All right. Have we all rolled? We got some cockatrices inbound. And those of you who don't know what a cockatrice is or what it does, you're about to find out.
Wizards says that this is well-wit- than your wheel. They say you're fine. They say you're fine. This is barely a medium fight, they said. They're fine. So you got this ugly bird lizard creature. Staring you dead in the face. It's kind of got this plume of gills. And that's number four. It's staring at me. Yes. I am immediately extremely happy and turning very angry. You're going to say turned on. I go ahead. I don't know. Very happy and turned on. We're going to. No. I'm a car. I haven't even bought me dinner yet. They are dinner. Well, then we'll see what's for dessert.
Okay. Well, please, sir. If you didn't already have inspiration. I like this loose wildcard, Michael. Where's this guy been? This is great. Yes. Okay. So I'm going to run at this cockatrice. and as I am running, I'm going to rage and get very angry. And I'm pulling out my house, put my pamphlet away, pull my hot and blot out, and getting extremely angry. And so I'm going to rage, which new character, new skills, and we forgot. Hold on a second. Hold on a second. Rage. Boom. It's in your, it's in a spell. Now you just click on it, automatically. Excellent. Excellent.
I am now raging. Hold on a whole. Bird up. Let's see. I think I should probably target so I know how close he is. Oh, 20 feet. I can easily run into him. With my speed of 30. And I am just going to attack him. I love it. Let's do it. 12 will hit. I thought that was a one for a second. I was like, wait, what is that? Yep. I was like, oh, no. Amphins, stay away. And so I was swiped. And then I am going to slash. Yeah. And do damage. Anything else? At this time, I think that's all I can do. So I will just stare angrily at it. I think you got your message across. Like, I think it knows.
This very same talkatries. So it's got that. That little... that little... that little rattlesnake type tail. It's going to try and... like, sting you with it. And it doesn't appear like it's big or anything like that. It's just kind of this little like, like a bee stinger type thing. And we're gonna... here we go. Target. It's a car. Ha! That's a five. It's gonna miss. You're fine. Cockatries number three. Where we got? I'm going to move up here to leave. But you have like a massive AC. This probably isn't gonna hit. You're fine. Oh, Jason. Oh, Jesus. Oh, shit. Oh, shit.
Jason. Hey, hey. Unless I crit. But no crit table. That's good. No crit table. We talked about the Constitution at 4, Jason. So let's do damage. I got good news for you. There's only one D4. It's one. Okay. You partially. Wait. That's the wrong, buddy. Right. Sorry, Ticar. Zero. So that's four damage. To leave. Just four. Okay. Here's the thing. Hmm. These gonna feel something, like a, like a heat in the blood. Like a, like a, it's like a, it's like, oh, oh. I need you to do me a favor and give me a constitution saving through us. There's the rub. Okay, okay. Oh, son of a mother.
Okay. That's a six. You can feel this lethargy sitting. It's setting in like your heart is slowing down. Like there's this heaviness in your chest and your limbs. And it's getting hard to move. On a failed save, the creature begins to turn to stone and is restrained. It must repeat the saving throw at the end of its next turn. On a success, the effect ends. On a failure. The creature is petrified for 24 hours. Oh, Jason. Jason. So we might get that cool lady statue for the ship. That's like interesting. I wanted it. God damn it. Delfine! Oh, fuck. Oh. Delfine's gonna stay.
Where's she? And I'm gonna... Should I even do this now? Yeah. I'm gonna select all my friends. And we're gonna cast Bless. So, whenever you... Yeah, this is perfect, actually. When you make an attack roll or a saving throw, you can roll a D4 and add the number to your attack row or a saving throw. It's ever. Anyone needed help for the safe. It's the first rolling con saves with a full. And best boss ever. No problem. And then also, because of my order domain, I'm going to use my voice domain. I'm going to use my voice of authority to allow Tuck to attack. using his reaction.
Get another swing in there. Yeah. So I look over and I just rid. 12 will hit. That will just hit, but 12 will hit. That's all that bless. What? And then one D-slashing you. Oh, you know, six. It's minimal, but like six. Is that it for Delphine? Yeah. Cacetri is number one. It's going to run up here. And I think Tobin. Let's target a Tobin. Well, boom! That's a head. That's a head. That is a head. Let's give you in favor. Yeah. Con save. Okay. I'm going to do something. We're shooting for 11. Okay. Con saving throw. Well. That'll do. You're fine. I want to do something too. After a assault, this.
Cockachist runs up to me like a fucking velociraptor, and then attacks me. I'm just like putting my hands up in that crossblock. And the beak is just ripping through my skin, but I don't flinch. And you see Tobin's eyes flare up as he releases a hellish rebuke. As a reaction. Okay. Because I am a teetling. Dexterity saving me. throw, please, from Cockatrice number one. That's a... That's a failure. That's a fail. Yeah, that's a fail. Oh, wait. What is my Dex? Is my Dex? Save me through eight? Hold up. No, isn't eight-beats? No way. It can't. Because you have a 20. Yeah.
Well, no, wait, wait, wait. It might be in-based. She's right. Oh, yeah, no, your bone. Oh. All right. Well, he's going to take half damage on this. anyways. Okay. Wow. Okay. But you have an 8 in. Wait, what are you calculating? Hellish Rebutt. I'm trying to use it. Oh. I'm trying to see if it's like, what is it based off? Let me see. Yeah, can you check? Okay, hold on. It's Dex based. It's Dex based. Okay. But... What is the save based off of? Yeah. It's charisma. It's charisma. That's why it's so low. Yeah. Oh, that's even lower. Yeah, you have a 5 in charisma. So it's, yeah, as it is, looking at reading right now, charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Yeah, so that's not great. So it takes half. Okay. And... What is it? It is 2d8. 2d10 fire damage. But only half, so... Okay. Just roll 20. I mean, we'll do with a five, right? Yeah, why? That was okay. These things are already causing complications. That's my fault. Because I have a very bad... Uh, Tobin. Okay. So after the thing gets flamed on, just... And it like backs up and it comes back, Tobin's very shocked. He's like, oh, this thing is still here. Uh... I did take some damage, right? How much damage did I take? Oh, two. Yeah, true. It's nothing. Well, he doesn't like this bird.
And I'm going to attack on armed strike. How does 23 work? Oh, that'll just hit. Yeah. And then let me get this. It's one D4 plus five. Not great, but I mean, you know what, better than nothing. Oh, 7.7. And? Yeah. So I, after this thing, attacks me, the flame goes out. It tries to go in again, and I grab its beak, and I give it like a throat punch just pop underneath its neck. I throw its head back. And as I do that, I'm going to spend a key point to do one additional, actually two additional on airstrike for flurry of blows. Oh, exactly. So I'll go on for a second one. 11 will hit.
Oh, cool. It's a big dopey looking bird. Eight damage. And, and my final flurry of blows. Do you have the bird targeted? I do. Yeah, you do. Okay, cool. Is that a bad? No, not at all. I was a second. 12. 12. 12. Oh, yeah. Give them one last. How's your uncle there? Six damage as I punch him again. That'll kill the couple here. Oh, alright. So it's just me pummeling this bird's face, pop, pop, pop, until you hear it crack. Yeah, that's, that's terrible. And one little last thing, Jason. I'm sorry. After I use my flirt, that on it? No, after I use my flurry of blows and the body goes down, I enter drunken technique.
I gain the benefit of disengage. My walking speed increases by 10 until the end of this turn, and I'm going to walk without provoking a attack of opportunity around here behind it. Got it. You will also... You will also be secure in the knowledge that you have tenderized that bird for dinner. I don't have to use the hammer or anything. No, that is ready to go. That's the end of my turn. Lee. All right. So... Oh, shit. Hmm? Oh, hold on. You are restrained. I don't want to move anyway, so whatever. So, so... Thank you there for that. But, okay, Lee is going to be cussing to got packed at by this stupid dinosaur bird.
And it's going to twirl. around her glave and now that she has advantage, it's going to hopefully beat up this bird. I hate it. I did it. Okay. And I'm going to smack in the face. You get disadvantage on attack those, actually, because you're restrained. Really? Oh, well, shoot. So then it evens out because I'm giving her advantage. Yeah, so it dropped a five. It would have been six, fourteen. That's a lot. So you're good. You're good. So I still hit it. I stabbed it right in the meaty feathery bits and... I don't know. And, yeah, that's it. Or the meaty feathery bits located, Nandy.
No, right. And I do my con saves and hopefully don't get petrified. I hit it. I can hit it. I go... So... Carry in my back, guys, please. I swear. I swear Lee's very confident. I swear. So Leah is going to attack this bird and just like, yeah. And that'll be the last thing she does before. she solidifies in front of everybody. That's a two. She rolled a two with bless. I'm so sorry. That's terrible. I mean, 24 hours. We'll bring you back. Yeah, 24 hours. So you're just heavy as shit. Like, I guess that our question is like, is she like aware while she's petrified? I think you're just a statue.
I mean, for mechanical terms, it's like unconscious, I think. Or incapacity. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Like, no time would pass. Like, basically, when you're Lee again, you're just like, huh, like, you just finished through with your, your, your slice, and it'd be night time or some shit, like, or the next day. I just think it'd be really funny to imagine Lee petrified on the deck of the ship with Jeannie, just sitting there telling her. Oh, every story she wants to write. You don't get away. You're talking. Holy care. Do you know what? Leak can still get hurt, by the way.
Yeah, we have to be careful. Can I actually, you know what? I'm so sorry. Canonically, flat D20. 1 through 10, and you are absolutely aware. 11 through 20 and no time passes to you. Karen, you've done this to me. Oh, you're totally aware. Like you are... What a nightmare. That's fucking terrible. That is... That is hellish. So, Karen's... a monster. Like, Karen did this to all of it. So, Karen did this to all of it. So, canonically, in theory now, if you get petrified, if you're turned to stone, you're totally aware of everything. that's happening. Wow. I'm so sorry.
That's the name of this episode. Jason. It should be called Group to the Grey, Episode 1, Petrified. A.K.a. Karen is a monster. A.K. Yeah. Don't hate the player. I hate the game. You can go all monk. Because I know it was removed with the timeless body, where it says, you don't need food or water. Well, in this case. I mean, work around. We just petify ourselves. Absolutely right. Cicteries, too. Oh, no. Oh, whoops, I left my boss. I love my boss by themselves. Oh, yeah. Cockatries, too. Let's wander on up to Delphine. This might be karma, actually. Hold up. I don't got a lot of agency.
Let's just a pecker, pecker. Oh, that's 21, baby. Oh! Oh! That's three damage. And you have lost concentration on your bless. Can I? Please, get a constitution saving throw. Sure. My constitution's not bad. Oh. No. No. That's a six, though. So, uh, restrained, madam. This is going great. Now, let's change places and randomize that initiative. Shazam, Tocatree's four is up. Uh, holy God. Uh, let's, let's pack it to car. Let's, let's just get a little pecka pecker in there. Wait, did it roll everyone randomized? Yeah. Oh, it did. It doesn't make a big show of it, but it totally did.
Yeah, it totally did. Just his. Five, but partially resisted. I don't... Hold on a second. Let me check the fine print. I don't know if you have to... It says two. Just two damage. Just two damage. A little bracket. Yes, yes, no, no. On the success, the effect ends, on effect, You have to roll every time you get hit with this. Can I get a con save, please? Absolutely. Doesn't say you're immune for so much time afterwards. Oh, Jesus Christ. Michael scooped up all the luck for that. I mean, one of us needs it for sure. He's going to have to carry me back, like. Wait!
Is Gilbert going to turn to Stone 2? Gilbert's a separate end. Gilbert's a separate end. He's going to be stuck. You're just going to be a big warm rock that he's going to be wrapped around. Go lay on me to Sunday. Yeah. Lee, never mind. Cockatry. Pocketriest. The amount of little fingers I've received tonight. Cacetries, too. Let's hit Delphine maybe. I don't know. Attacks get advantage. Attacks get advantage on... Because, yeah, you can't do much about it. So here we go. Fla-Fam! Jesus Christ, eight will still miss. Don't worry about it. Delphine, you're restrained.
So attacks have disadvantage, decks have disadvantage. You can't move. I can cast spells, though. You can. I am going to... your recast because why not? If you're petrified, can you concentrate? Oh, that's a good problem. She's just restrained. She's not petrified. You're right. I'm jumping ahead. You're right. I'm jumping ahead. I'm jumping in. I'm sorry. It was more of a, oh, what if kind of question. Not you're absolutely going to be petrified because you'll be fine. Totally fine, right? I will let. Let. I don't know. Either Tucker or Tobin, like, whichever one sees the reaction to attack.
Give it to Tucker. Okay. Yeah. So I'll let Tuck attack again. You're asking me to attack the guy in front of me and I'll say to you. Yeah. Sorry. Yeah. It's just part of, like, you can. You can use your reaction to attack him if you want. Or not. I'm not that aware. I'm not that aware. I'm just attacked. I'm fully engaged. Actually, if you look at the map, my back is to the group. I'm not aware people are stoned yet. Okay. No, no. I like the first word. Yeah, that's more accurate. All right. So I am just full in. No idea what's going on. I'm willing to attack. And I think that everyone's having a great time. because I am. 16 will hit.
And I was slash one more time. Oh, shit. 13. 13. This cockatry say, looking so hot. Can you do anything else? No. Good. No. Okay. Oh, that was a reaction. Yeah. Sorry. Sorry. Yeah. But I have to do... You've got to give me a con save. With the bless. So right? With bless, yes. Do you bless yourself? Oh, you're fine. Either way. You're going to shake it off. You're going to shake it off. Thank God. That's getting worried. To car! I love how on his turn, Takar, you can see all his little things. Rage. Advantage. Advantage, damage, melee, resist. I'm loving this. Okay. I just want a little time to swim again.
And yes, please. It's a 25. Yeah. And I'll be loose. That'll kill the cockatries. Well, Jason, you gotta say exceed point by 10. That is dying. That'll cock to kill the trees. So that's it. Can you move? Do you want to move? I'm going to move. I figured you. Let's move. I'm going to move up to here. I love you so much. Because I turn around and like over and I run over and then I run over and then I'm. Let's see. These are already petrified. They could probably be repatriified again. So I'm going to then look over at Boss Delphine, pull out my panflet and say, You've seen this do-d-d-d-do, and then give you bardic inspiration.
I love the do-d-d-d-do. Yeah, but how does he really play? You said that he thinks he plays wonderfully. What do we hear? It's like an orchestra of second graders with recorders. Oh. Oh. That'll bring up Tobin. Tovin's T6. T6. Tobin is just going to wail on this concrete piece again. And he's like doing the brucely hop back and forth. Like he's like jumping like ha ha. This is exciting to him. Even though he saw what happened to Lee and what almost happened to Delphine. Let me attack this stupid bird, please. And it's my unarmed. 18. 18 will do it. Don't forget to target.
I am targeting him. You want. Because I'm rolling. I'm making a manual roll because I don't have unarmed. Oh, my weapon. Sorry. Let's work for you. Seven damage. Seven. And I want to... Is he still standing? Oh, yes. I will burn another key point. And give him an old one-two. Uh-huh. Fifteen. That'll hit. Oh, nine. Oh, Jesus, God. That'll kill the cockaties. Yay! Cockatrice is gone. I still have one attack action left over from the Florida blows. So... You want to hit a bush for something? I'm going to... I can still run. Yeah. I just can't use my special drunken movement.
Or... I mean, you don't really need to. Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, you're right. Well, I'm going to move here. And I'm going to use my last attack on them. Okay. Oops, why didn't it? Plus seven. There you go. Wow. Oh, yeah. Oh, that's that way. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Comes. Eight. Eight damage. Anything else? Uh, I believe that's it for me. Well, I think. I can't send to randomize that initiative again, everybody. Here we go. Oh! T'car, you're up. That's a person to go first. Yes. Cockatrice is all the way down at the bottom. So, seeing Tobin strad up on the other side, well, it's flank or not, but it's the flanking rules.
I don't know if I get advantage on this or not. But... Oh, you get advantage. Excellent. And just, I am bringing ear-to-ear. This is amazing. Totally ignoring the fact that me is petrified. All right. Because you're aware. You're aware, but you can't do anything. We're just stretching. This is great. Everyone's having a good time. Right? All right. Oh, yeah. Oh, shit. Let's drop that one, take an 18. 25 will hit. Excellent. And then let's just slash you. Jesus, Max damage fifth. Dang. This cockatry saying looking so hot. I love this character. See, this is the power fantasy that you've been waiting for for years.
Just had to do your time. And that'll be more. Tobin. Oh, yeah, Lee's frozen. Shit, I completely... Oh, damn. All right, well, I'm going to switch it up on a use quarter staff this time. Because I can... I think I can still activate it. Let's see. Flurry of lows. Whenever you attack... Yeah. Okay. So, yeah, I'll just use my staff this time. Target to Cockatrice And I'm going to wind it up like a baseball bat. Oh, yeah. Don't forget, you get advantage. Oh, I'm sorry, let me do that again, man. I mean, you just hit more. 27. And here comes the damage. Just five. Five damage to the cockroachies.
I'm going to burn my last key point. And I have to make a... I'm sorry, Jason, I have to do it by hand. Go, go, go. Don't be sorry. We'll fix it for next time. Oh, seven. Wait, is it? Can I use my staff still? No. Unarmed. It has to be armed. Okay. That's it. 21-oh-ha. Yeah. And... 7. That'll kill the cockatry. Yes, ladies, gentlemen. That's... Okay, so I had to Google something that I never thought. I've learned so many wonderful little... over the years. Mandy, how tall is leave? Let's go 5.10. 5.10. So that would be 70 inches. Now, a person-sized statue made of stone.
Made of stone. Clocks in. 70 inches. That would be somewhere in. the area of 6708 pounds. I have to carry. So good luck with that. But you got a bunch of bird to eat, so that's cool. Can I try a lesser restoration to see if that'll fix it? Would it fix it? I mean, it's, it's, this is, um, this is more, you just got to let it take. It's course. Like, you know that it's just, the stomach bug. The best you can do. is make her. Oh, you know what? Mandy. Please roll a D20. I need to see something just canonically for my... We already know that you are conscious in there.
You know what's up. Very bitter and like stupid birds. Okay, D20. Yeah. Is how good? 18. You're fine. Never mind. I was going to do another thing with your eyes, but don't worry about. Oh, God. So... Like, what? They'd fall out. No, don't worry about it. So, so. Lee is like, like post-swing, follow-through, stump. 678 pounds. Of just rock. And here's the thing. You don't want to drop her. Tobin looks at, Captain Captain. I suppose. Captain Gray, if I may. I don't think the big guy and I can take her on the boat, let alone risk dropping her. Maybe we take the meat back, tell the crew what happens, and we guard her for the night.
You know, just in case this wears off. And he puts his hands up, just a suggestion. I mean, you're in charge. I mean, I was just going to leave her here, so we could come back in... In Carter. He kind of thinks about it. Yeah, you know, that's a good. I was just trying to play, you know, a nice guy. Yeah, I mean, like... Stay here, I don't... I'm okay, we're not getting back on the boat just yet. I mean... He's like, Toba's gonna walk up to tuck. I mean, it's not like she knows what's going on, right? like, she's stone. So... Walk up and do a little hand wave in front of the face.
I guess. I just didn't move. I guess, right? Yes. I don't know. Yeah, I think that's a rule. Your eyes don't move. You don't know what's happening. Yeah, I think I heard that somewhere. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm just worried about leaving the boat. Also. So I'm not saying that we leave her here. Because like, I think there can still be some damage to be done. So we should definitely have somebody here to guard her. But I'm also afraid of leaving the boat unattended. You want to bring Jeannie here? That's all me kind of shrugs. I mean, that'd be a good idea. And maybe Jerry, I think it'll be okay for you.
Jerry to get away from the kitchen a little bit. Kevin will look around. Karen. Karen, Karen. Tobin turns around. Well, what if, uh... Not that I don't like the guy, but what if more of those birds show up? Yes, Jason. What? Do you may favor roll a flat D-25? God. This is going to close up the session? This is going to be a super. related, is it? That's a three. We go back to that drone shot. It's going to pull back from from Stone Mandy. And we're going to pan over to the ship. Jerry has started four more sauces. Now, he didn't anticipate. starting for more sauces, but he found apparatus's appurati to cook in.
And what it is is these flimsy buckets we've been using for gutting fish and stuff like that. And he used one of them as like a base, like a stock, to start a... You don't have to be muted. It's okay. So like a nice stock, like a base. The problem is these buckets were not meant to be. cooked in. And there's going to be some spilage, some seepage. And two things are going to happen. One, ship is going to reek like boiled fish when you get back. Two, a small fire has started in the kitchen. But I think we should get to that in our next session because I think that's a pretty good time for us to stop in the night, guys.
Hey, Jesus, nobody died. Just one. Nobody died. Everybody died. Everyone's. Somebody bring it down. It's a big success. It's a big success. I just like that we have a 10 little quality ship. Now you want to bring it down. I don't want to do anything. I was ready to walk away. But think of it this way. Eight sauces. You guys, you guys got eight sauces. It's like a ball back. That's way. I love it. Right. That's way more sauces than many ships. throw Jerry off. I will. I don't even care. The sauces have like a fish taste to them. They don't know. Then I am supposed to. So I love this.
I don't know how you guys feel about this. It's a big group. I don't know if you're out. What do you guys think? I think we do really well. I just think, you know, unfortunate that there's a bird that can turn people to stone very easily. I blame Jason for that. Again, barely medium in terms of difficulty. You guys are fine. You know what makes them more dangerous than they look? It's because you're not immune after the save. No. Literally. Usually. Everything else. Usually when you save, it's like, oh, for 24 hours, you're fine. Yeah. Yeah. Not these guys. I check the fine print twice.
Not in there. But the good thing is, it's not basilisk where you're petrified forever. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, no. You're fucked. Or Medusa. Yeah. Or, you know, yeah. This is just case in the joint and robbing it a little. Like, they're just... That's our job. Oh, my God. So, I... I loved that. Good job. I do. I see. It's hard. Yeah. We'll be right back after these words from our sponsors. Please don't go anywhere. We really hope you guys enjoyed today's episode. Again, please help us spread the word by retweeting this link that you saw on Twitter, on Facebook, Tumblr, Reddit, wherever you guys are.
Please let people know because that helps us get new listeners as well as your reviews on iTunes, on Amazon, wherever you. you get our stuff. If you do listen to us on Patreon and you support us there, we can't thank you enough because that allows us to keep lights on and keep doing new things. Speaking to Patreon, you're about to listen to 10 minutes of a show called Fly on the Wall. As I said at the top of the episode, we're developing our own RPG system and there's a lot that goes into it. If you ever wanted to know how something like that comes about, or how we're tackling this specifically for what we're trying to create, here's the first 10 minutes of our very very very. first team meeting.
We're posting two of these a month on our Patreon. And if you want to hear the whole thing, they're usually about an hour and a half to two hours long per meeting. And you'd find it at patreon.com slash d-a-n-d-r. Thank you very much. We really hope you enjoy. Oh, right. I'm a mute. All right. You don't have to mute. It's not that formal. I just, I just wanted to get this like a recording started over so I don't have to hunt for 20 minutes. All right. Officially now. Welcome to the first team meeting of whatever the hell we're calling this system. I don't know what that is.
It's a bit of mouthful. It's a bit, yeah, it, that's a, I don't know. I've been calling it the Raven system just like for a project name, just because I needed something. So, obviously we have a very long road. ahead of us. And what we're going to do tonight is get everybody on the same page in terms of what we're doing and what's going to be expected out of everybody and just kind of give people marching orders going forward. So we're not all stepping on each other's toes. Again, I want to thank everybody who volunteered and is going to be a part of this.
Eventually, we're going to put out a book. What I would like to do. And this is, I don't feel too high in the sky. But obviously, we have a kickstart that's going to launch in October. Well, Jameson has a kickstart that's going to launch in October. Then we're a part of, but it's not, you know, and obviously, Jameson isn't going to be needed for the first leg of this journey. Like, you're going to be kept in the loop, but you're not going to be on call for a while. Because we're not going to be writing anything that's going to need to be spell checked.
Yeah, I mean, depending on the schedule I'd like to be if I can be, just for like, you know. You're always inviting, obviously. For, you know, for like organizational purposes. But yeah, like content wise, yes, sir. Yeah. For sure. What the first leg of this is going to be, tonight what we're going to be doing is getting the field down. Like what we're trying to go for, just a general overview. And then we're going to discuss some things that we enjoy about D&D generally, things that we don't enjoy, some constraints, obviously, that we're under, that we won't be if we create a new system.
And just kind of setting up vague barriers. First things first, though, the big thing first, though, the big thing I'd like to try to accomplish in the next two or three months is getting, some major decisions out of the way. What dice system we're going to be using? You know, start getting the ideas down for how magic is going to play, certain mechanics, things like that. Something that's going to be implemented on the Discord server is called the pile. I want anybody who has an idea, even if it's vague, even if it's just a feeling, or it's like, hey, I'd like to try to establish this in the new system.
I want people to toss it on the pile. It's going to be its own channel. You come in. You just make a post and then leave it. No one's going to touch it. No one's going to talk about it. There's no, oh, I think that would work because of this. Don't even, you know, if you want to piggyback on to that and add to it, that's awesome. It's going to be on its own post. What I'd like to do is weekly meetings. Now, it doesn't, you know, it'll be open to whoever wants to join, but it's not. not a thing where everyone needs to feel like they have to be a part of it.
So if Jameson's particularly busy working on the comic, if Ashley has a school thing or whatever, you don't need to be part of it, it'll all be recorded. But those weekly meetings are going to be times we're going to be discussing mechanical things and just try to get the very bare bones of what this system is going to be, and that will discuss things in the pile, basically. It's like, oh, someone brought of this. How could we do that? How could we riff on that? You know, and just try to incorporate all these ideas. And slowly but truly, I feel like we're going to figure out what the, what the guts of this thing is going to be.
Does anyone have any questions before we go forward? Stop. You're not, now you're whining? I have a couple of questions, but I can differ. If you're saying. I have a couple of questions, but I can defer if someone else has. And that's for any of it. Like this, obviously, this is our first meeting. We're just getting started. Go for it. Like, ask any questions. It's not about the, doesn't have to be about the stuff I was just talking about. Well, what's your favorite color, Jason? I like blue. No, I'm just kidding. So I guess my overall question is, how close to like a player. handbook type of thing are you going for like do you because we already have the setting book so are you envisioning this new system like including classes including the war from Theria um kind of what do you see this encompassing and what do you see as being other projects for other setting books and or you know the comic or you know like what necessarily do you want to be as being other projects for other setting books and or you know like What necessarily do you want to get out of building this RPG system?
Yeah, sorry, just before you answer that, that's kind of related to what I was going to bring up. So let me just kind of pile my question on top of that. Add to the pile! So the main thing that I've been thinking about in between when we decided to start this and now has been primarily content-based. I've been thinking about, obviously, this is going to be a new system of, you know, a new game system. But it's also going to be like how much. do we want this to be, um, what do we want this to be in comparison to the book that we just made, right? Um, so is this a setting book volume two that just has mechanics built into it as well?
Is this a player's handbook? Is this a core rule book that is independent of the adventurers' guides? Um, how much of the material from the first book are we going to adapt into this? this book or are we not going to do that at all? Like there's a lot of questions about that content, I guess, basically, because like I'm kind of two minds about it. Part of me is like, let's, let's take everything from the first volume that was that was mechanics and rules based, transcribe it, add it to this, publish that, here's a core rule book. This is independent of everything you can run the game with this.
Part of me is like, let's use the first book and move on from there and have it be, okay, here's the second continent. Also, here's a whole new dice system if you want to use that. But also, here's how you translate the stuff we did in the first book. I don't know which one you guys prefer. I don't know if that's been a focus for you at all. How did you? Yeah. So I'd like to hear where you guys' heads are at with that because that's kind of been my primary thing. I don't know what we're looking at in terms of like total content for this thing. Well, I would like to defer to Kelsey's cat.
Let's see. Just in general. It's a door. Yeah. No. Obviously, that was something we had to think about a lot because a genius that I am, the decision came after we published a book. So just spot on past Jason. So what I'd like to do is is, I think by the time we're done this system, we're going to have a big book again. I don't know if it's going to be 400 pages big. But I think, I don't think any of us have any aspirations of publishing three books like Wizards does, a DM's guide, a player's guide, and, you know, a monster manual. I think that is gratuitous and money-grabby and just what people expect, honestly.
One of the big things about that cat's anus is that it's... Things get grandfathered. I don't see the camera like, hope no one noticed. No, but one of the things that I think, D&D does, it's like sports games, right? The new Madden comes out. The new Call of Duty comes out. And it's very much the same because it's what they've done before. The three-book thing, I don't think any of us are trying to do. I'd like to give people as much as much as. as they can get out of one book and everything they need to run the system. The same way we tackle the setting book.
It's everything that we can give them to move forward. And honestly, at some point, maybe that's a stretch goal for this. We're going to have to remake portions of the last book and re-publish it under the new banner or whatever. It won't be a 5E book anymore. And I don't think anyone's going to be pissed that they have a 5E version of the Therian stuff now. I don't think people are going to be angry that they bought that one because I have no, no illusions about people just not playing D&D anymore, right? Also, someone just who just hit me. Yeah, I thought about that too.
I think that a 5E compatible version of the book is fine. Like, there's nothing wrong with having made a book that's 5E compatible. It's just like in my mind's either way that I thought it would work. and I'm not at all like laying this on the table. This is what we should do. But my mind, I was like, okay, so we make up this new dice system, whatever it is. We incorporate. Here's how you make characters. Here's how you roll combat. Here's how magic works. You know, spell list, character, creation tables, all that kind of stuff. And then we take the stuff from the first book that we wrote.
Drugs. You know, why is it the only thing I could think of? But all the mechanics that were in. produced in the first book and we move all that stuff over to this book and this is a say 300 page book of how you run games with this system some of it's new some of it's old and transcribed but this is a complete thing there's no setting stuff in here per se but this is how we run this system yeah it's like two separate things kind of yeah you're away from lore and all of that outside of what is necessary it's like okay races likely will have a little bit of war to explain culture and like the first. reason.
They work the way they work. But they do not need... Well, they live in the evergreen. Here's 45 pages about the evergreen. Yeah, they don't need... We don't need history. Yeah. I know this is a joke that I made, or that we've all made, but I think it's very much... Thank you all so much for listening this week. We'll be back next week with another brand new episode and a brand new group. If you like what you just heard and you want to hear the rest of it, it's another hour and 40 minutes, I believe. you can find it at patreon.com slash d-a-n-d-r and you get two of those per month.
Last month we released three, and depending on how much of a backlog we do, we may be doing that every once in a while. Again, retweet this episode, let people know, share it on Facebook, all that good stuff, tag us and let us know what you thought of the episode. Thank you all so much.
