So the last the last little episode was a bit of a scuffle, but things ended well. Sadly, you are short one crew member. Sadly, no, that's not the one. I don't think anyone's going to miss him. No one on the boat will miss him. Unfortunately, we have an open wreck now.

Should be college. Opportunity to recruit some new hires. Seasonal new hires, perhaps. There's a hole in our roster and in our hearts, but that's OK. It's OK. We persevere and we move on. Now, I'm going to give you guys two options. I'm going to give you the option to skip ahead just a little bit and we could skip to the day where you are delivering these goods. Or we can go ahead and kind of play out the rest of your time here in Westport as you get things together and get ready to kind of make your delivery. But you do have decisions to make before we skip ahead, no matter what.

All of you, not just Karen. Can we if we skip ahead, can we still do like one thing per day or one thing? Yeah, then I will skipping ahead. I feel like the more the sooner we get to the weapons being sold, the sooner we can get to like the next objective. This is just from a player perspective. Sure. Yeah, I mean, I know we have to deal with like the tech thing and some other things, but like I'm I'm OK. Not like role playing every single little detail. I kind of figured. Yeah. Same. All right. So here's what we're going to do. We left off on the fifth. Now, Roland and Welf are going to they're going to get started on your weapons, obviously.

And Roland is going to kind of visit every day until your ship is, pardon the pun, shipshamed. It is like like he knows a guy type of type of guy like he's one of those. So you are going to get a crazy good deal like they're basically working for for cost. Like it is like someone who's rolling a favor. So you're going to get this fancy new kitchen, basically, like. They're going to spend the entire time insulting the the the the goblin craftsmanship of this. That's contractor shit. That is. Someone didn't know how to do. That's every contractor I've ever fucking met.

Ever one of them. So I thought it was I thought it was I thought it was a mole mole workers. Well, yeah, they were gnomes. And then like they had, you know, goblin like like tools that it was said in the last episode. Yeah, it was shitty makeshift tools, basically. They were using they were kind of keeping costs low until they saw the extent of the damage. So this is going to get done in about like four days, I'd say like they they're working. They're working long hours to get this done so you can be out on your merry way and Roman and Welf have been working nonstop on these weapons.

And they they have a bunch of essentially seasonal hires, let's call them, to help while they're supervising and all that. So you are getting stock standard basic weaponry. And this is stuff out of their reserves and things like that. Stuff that isn't like it isn't really anything to write home about. It's quality in that like you go to Home Depot and buy their basic shovel. Like it's like, yeah, this will do the thing that I needed to do. And it'll last a while. But it's not special at all. So they're setting you up with that. And I would say on the fourth day.

Well, before we get there, I think we have something to deal with with Tuck. Oh, yeah. A little a little something. We have to see if you are addicted to boom rocks now to explain to the audience at home. There is an addiction system in Theria. And you can read all about it in the Adventures Guide to Theria Volume one, Alora. Where can you think? I mean, if you go to Amazon drive through RPG, it's incredibly affordable craftsmanship. So the point being. You picked the most aggressive drug to start with. You're lucky your heart didn't explode, essentially.

What do you feel about your chances? I'm hopeful. And whatever happens, happens, you know, chaos. OK, but I'm I'm I'm hoping my high con helps. So this is going to be a god, this is going to be DC's con. Con safe. Yes. With a DC of twenty two. OK. And for everybody at home, what is your what is your save modifier for Con? My save is a plus nine. OK, that's pretty good. That's pretty good. That's pretty damn good. So also, can I finally use my inspiration for this? Yeah, you can use it for a save. Sure. So we're going into this. I'd say the odds are kind of in your favor, right?

Like I'm thinking that, but I have been wrong before. Basically, unless you poop the bed twice in a row, you're fine. So can we get that first con save? We're looking for a twenty two or higher. Can I add looking at Michael's face, how calm he looks. I don't think he cares when we're the other. Truly, chaos has a plan for you. It's a two sided coin here, right? Yeah. Inspiration is an advantage. So here we go. Oh, you know what I did wrong? I didn't add my modifier. I just threw a D20. I didn't do this. Well, with a plus nine, that'll save. Yeah. Holy crap. Yeah.

That plus nine, man. That's nothing to scoff at. Would you want to tell what he's won, Jason? Well, you've you've won the right to have a tremendous hangover, but not a crippling need to do whatever it takes to to get more boom rocks. That being said, I have to ask you, is this something you're going to do again? Like as Tuck, like, was this something that he enjoyed in terms of feeling that powerful? He enjoyed it, but he did not enjoy the coming down. No one does. And much like anyone who loves to drink first, hates, hates the I've drank too much. Oh, God, get me out of here experience, which is what I feel like Tuck has gone through.

And this role defined the was his role to determine if he was going to be like, OK, it was so bad, but I get back there. It's fine. This is the oh, I would love to get back to that, but maybe there's a different way. And so he's he's probably not going to do boom rocks, but he maybe won't stop him from finding ways to get back to that kind of status. There are drugs of a more poor performance enhancing variety, so he might be on the search. So he's interested, but not addicted, like like that's one of those things. It's like I tried it. Not for me, but, you know, maybe if I have a weekend coming up that, you know, I don't really plan to see, like, OK, maybe I can't get to that level again, but I could get closer.

Right. Right, right, right. It's very insightful, like look into the ways not necessarily addicts mind works, but like the kind of adrenaline seeker. Right. It feels like it's more towards that. Yeah. And I feel it's Tuck since his rage style of bounces both between the bard and barbarian. So you feel like it's the the awesome savory experience versus the well, that was a bad idea experience. Well, I want to ask a few questions here before we jump to the the ninth of Rangway. We're going right past the Day of Lust. We're going we're going in a bit. It's it's it's quite cool, by the way.

Are there special things you want to get done around Westport? I think Tobin, even though he I don't think he shared, like, his plans because, you know, he doesn't know everyone that well, the only one who's talking is more focused on Tuck's ideals and goals. But Tobin wants to talk to any merchants in town who live in a specific area. Like where I think I mentioned it in my back story, there's like he used to live or help his mom with the shop and he wants to go where that shop used to be and go look around like the the neighboring businesses and check up on them.

Kind of incognito unless they recognize in which case, you know, they'll have to kind of do some. Is there something specifically you're looking for? Yes. He wants to see if they've heard any word from the guy, the man who used to help with the shop also. Do you want to do me a favor and give me a wisdom check like a little streetwise show wisdom, just flat wisdom, just flat wisdom. Cool, cool, cool. Thank you for not doing charisma. Oh, 12. 12. I think you get a lot of people who are vaguely like, Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, there used to be someone there.

And people are kind of divided on it. I think he moved on. Like, I think he like he just wasn't here. And I think I think he moved down south. Is that what I heard? Like something like that. And this person went to a Lara. Took the just took a boat in the middle of the night and left like, and the people who are saying that said they did so in a hurry. Okay. If I don't have a 12 can give me this but is there any word of him ever coming back to visit with a 12. I okay. In either way, like in either scenario, it's painted very much as they didn't want to go.

And you get the sense that like, they might try to sneak back if they can, or like, you know what I mean? Okay, cool. Tobin will thank them and probably buy a little knickknacks from the merchants every now and then like, Oh yeah, thanks for the information, like, Oh, let me get like, you know, list that little wooden toy horse or something like just like random bits and rolls. But every bit and bubble that he buys is like a tuck would like this. This looks like something you would. He would like he would like this this something that piques interest and keep him busy for a little bit.

You're good friend. I mean, he's, you know, was my boy. Take care of him. Actually, in this time, and probably have Tobin help him see if any other boats came from brightport sent like since the fifth. Well, just we will be even before like before we arrived. We do some detective work at the docks. Yeah. He's trying to find if a certain someone was shipped here. Or also both our intelligence are both. It's good stuff for which is why I'm bringing Tobin because he's I think we have the same intelligence. I think we're pretty much like almost the same. Oh, my God.

Maybe it's part of what we rehearsed. Mostly how badly I do so hard to intentionally try to screw up a little. Yeah. Yeah. I have a friend from Brightport on boat that has stuff for us to see. Does he say it like that? Because that would be great. I mean, I mean, intelligence three wisdom six. I mean, I'm trying to think about like he wouldn't try to be super specific because it's not really in his nature. Right. I don't. Here's the other thing. I don't think the harbor master sitting there thinking like. You have a a a bad reason for asking like it. I don't think that would jump to it.

I think Tobin would try and jump in. Mike, if Tuck told him like what he's looking for. I think you have told him before that. Yeah. It's the. Yeah. Your old mentor. So Tobin will jump in as the harbor master is kind of like confused, like looking. He'll be like, oh, I like my buddy. The big guy here is somebody important to him said they'd be coming here. Just running into the many shipments of like, you know, people, transports that look and he looks at.

He was similar to you. Right. And he'd like those. Even though I have horns, he'll do like, like he has, you know, he actually like. No. Oh, why don't you give the harbor master here a nice description of the man, the important person you're looking for. Tall for human, black hair, nice white, clean clothes, maybe dirty because the travel has a loot and many others. You'll be probably playing a song all the way into the harbor. OK. Yeah. Yeah, he's he's going to look through his books and everything. It's like it's been pretty quiet. We have some deliveries and stuff, but mostly just for businesses in town. No, no, no personal travel. But again, check back on the 12th. I'm your friend might be there. And then Tobin will take ten gold out of his wallet or his pouch, put it on. I'm assuming there's like some sort of crate near us. I'll just put on the crate, slide it, slide it over. I'll say you make sure to keep whoever this part is in town after the 12th. Maybe, you know, tell him of the great Westport hospitalities until you see us again.

Oh, OK. Is he more of a Thunder was a man or a. Admired bulge guy like give me a direction. Tobin looks at Tuck, kind of like leans back. Your old mentor. Yeah, I feel like Tobin would not get these social social cues because my charisma is seven. So he's just all this is going above it. He thinks in his mind I'm being really sly about this. Awesome. And I don't know if maybe that got pushed back because of, you know, being attacked on the ship.

But I think she would have snuck out to just go meet with him. This just to see what he has. You know, maybe get samples. What could go wrong? What could go wrong? So you want to meet this person like at night? Like an alley, something like that, like a real clandestine thing. He said to meet him in a, you know, bandit something, something. It is fine. There's you know, there's a lot of combat. There's a lot of a lot of danger out there. And you never know if you don't have a healer. It could be the difference between life or death. For certain people, we found that snake vein is great for the clientele.

Enhances muscle mass and reflex time. It's it's been it's been proven quite effective down south. We've we've had a few gethzerei who are really into it. They're not they're not born with a tremendous amount of muscle mass. And those who aren't good with magic, well, they just seem to struggle. And this is a great way for them to adapt. I like those two options. Can you do do you have a big supply in case we do decide to go this route? Madam, I would not be good at my job if I didn't. Very good. So it's basically a private jacuzzi that's about 10 feet by 10 feet. It's sizable. You can get up to your neck in this thing. It's deep. There's yeah. So let's see if you're both interested in the same activities. And I think, again, this is a raw D20.
