So there is that small matter of these demigods running around. Can I ask what the plan is for that? Did you guys discuss that or? I don't think we should, though. OK, so how about this? And I gave you all a well earned extended rest here. And in the intervening time, we talked about this and Jolní would get the dominatrix armor off of her. And, you know, just address banes that might be hindering people in combat. That one was, I believe, the worst. So just Jolní? I think that, yeah, like that. What would be super ironic is if you died in combat now because boy howdy should you have. Yeah. And it would just be a thing of going, hey, dads, do you know anybody who could remove curse? And be like, yeah, totally. And then get it removed. Did you just swing back a whole glass of scotch?

A bunch of them have been let in out of the cold and it's posing some problems because they didn't want to see these little guys freeze. And at the same time, they are not equipped for. Well, you know what?

So they took in thirty one thousand two hundred and twenty three cats. That's not that's only probably a small percentage of what made it to saw. Wasn't it like one hundred thousand? It was so OK. We were just tossing around numbers that night, but it was like a literal small mountain that turned into cats. So it's like every square like inch of it is just cats. So, yeah, that's a small percentage of what's on that.

So, I mean, let's say let's say they got thirty three percent of the ones. Let's say it is around one hundred thousand. They're taking all these in and they're trying to wrangle them. So there are now rooms designated as furball rooms. And they're trying to it's like, what? OK, what do they eat? Like what are these things like? So they're testing different things. They've tried some plants and stuff like that. The cats have shown no interest. And then they've tried warmth pockets to to some middling success. Meat seems to be a favorite, but man, these things are terrible at eating raw meat.

So, yeah, they're trying to take care of them. But I'd say for every 10 cats they have corralled, one cat is just running around. So SOD is filled to the brim with black cats. And this place is going to start to smell eventually unless they figure out quickly what the hell. So anybody who has some experience with cats, cat wrangling, may want to give them some pointers. But what you wake up to in the morning is almost a men in black style goofy situation of like while you're walking around this sterile white environment, like just constantly in the background, the ecology of this continent has been ruined.

So far, like, you know, our welcome. Yeah, no, it is. Didn't they feed us cats in like episode one? Yes, but like cats aren't native to. No, I know. I'm just saying, like, I, Lisa is concerned that they will then be like, oh, great, protein. Right. So, like, OK, if you came if you came to California, it's like, man, we got some wagyu beef. Like it's like, man, we got it. We got it shipped in. It is it is. So like I'm thinking I'm getting a delicacy, right? But like they're thinking, it's like, man, we got some cats shipped in. Can't get him on Kian. So like, hmm, it's so fresh.

You love it. Like they don't know. Like they just, you know, and to be fair now, this invasive species that is overabundance on Kian. I mean, I don't want to make a controversial opinion, but I'm just saying there's thirty one thousand available meat sources right now. I know. Wow. I think no apology after that statement. That's interesting. Because I'm very aware of what I apologize now. So at breakfast time, you're going to see people kind of hustling around. And there's there's kind of this this meetup place, kind of like almost a cafeteria setting. Very, very nice and clean and warm.

And there will be cats jumping up and down on tables. And they're kind of being shooed out of the it's like that type of thing. Very nicely. And if you guys were to meet up and sit down, one of the people chasing is like, you weren't going to eat that, were you? I'm sorry. I can go get it if you'd like. What? The the the small furry creature, would you are you hungry? I could make that. I was going to know what she's going to like. They eat us here. No, no, no. Well, they do, I guess sometimes they thought they thought we did. But we don't. We don't. Yes, you don't.

You don't eat them at all. Or you personally. It's a personal choice. No, let me just put it this way. Nobody eats them. What about Dragonborn? Maybe you just get like a side eye. I'm just going to get you some nutrient paste. Is that OK? Yes. Some of that brown sauce, please. Prata is mortified. She's just like. Trust any fuckers. How do they how do they feel about the tens of thousands of cats kind of being out in the city? Is there a separation like like a minotaur would look at a at a common bull and just be like, yeah, I, I think a little bit. I think she'd probably like spend part of her time looking through, like, are there any like me or are they all just right cats?

And I think seeing that she would be like, I think she would be mildly offended, like, excuse me. Like they're not as advanced as me, but don't eat them. Like, you know, it's uncouth. So you have a new teammate, you you've had a nice rest, you've how and how hard did you bone down the night previous? Was that something we need to roll for? Is it? I like how casual that was put into a question. I look inquiring minds. I think I think Corvus probably hold hold. Hold on to that until like a later date, but I'll tell you what. You could tell that he's a little grumpy in a sense.

Doesn't really know if it's like because he just didn't sleep well or if it was the news from last night or if it's the cold or really what's going on. But as you kind of come over, he's going to be holding a cup in his hand and just kind of like with his head over it and then look up at you. So good. And then just takes a swig. I say that my hat's off to you for being such a dedicated guest member that you went and caught a cold to make this character choice. Play out the way you had it in mind. That's you are very welcome, especially in covid times where that I mean, really, really dangerous.

And then I imagine they take some time, like putting it on piece by piece, pulling the straps.

There is occasionally a time where Corvus is like in an embarrassing position or area of Yegman is like looking away and trying to. And Yegman doesn't care. He's just standing there in full glory. Just think Corvus has the anime blush on his cheeks. Like, mm hmm. Yeah. I barely remember this cartoon being a thing, but Mr. T had a cartoon at one point. And he had a troop of gymnast children that he led to fight crime. I think this is like this is like four year old me. But I do remember that every that there's a point in every show where he's like, it's time to suit up.

And then like he'd go and it's like strapping his boots on and stuff like that. And there would be like a little montage. And that's what I thought of for some reason. And I haven't thought of that cartoon in 37 years. So I'm glad we can bring it back. Yeah. I want to know. I'm not even sure if it exists. I'm I'm really not. I made it up. I made me. Maybe that was a fever tree. Yeah. So the next time we get the group back together, Yegman's staunting that new armor that's supposed to make him not age or not die or whatever. Yeah, you can't die. What is it? What was it?

I don't know. Ryan sick. He doesn't remember. It's supposed to make me last longer, I guess, to tell the good news. What does it do, Jason? Like he had somehow passed out studying, but studied harder than he'd ever had in his entire life. It's weird. But what this what this armor does is it sort of it encases your body and it ensures that no matter what happens to Yegma, he cannot die. Now, it does exactly what it says on the tin. No more, no less. Have you ever seen a movie called Death Becomes Her? Yes. Jason, you know that. Well, that's let's assume Ryan hasn't seen anything. OK, Valerie, Death Becomes Her is a movie starring Bruce Willis. And so basically, essentially these two these two women who are constantly competing with each other, both drink a serum that makes them appear younger.

It revitalizes them and it ensures that they can never die. Right. The catch being that whatever happens to them, if they lose a hand, if they get their sternum crushed, if they trip, fall down the stairs and break their own neck, they still live. But that damage does not repair. You just keep going forward. So let's say you get mutilated in like a 12 car pileup. Yegman will emerge from that eventually, but he'll look like he's been in a 12 car pileup. OK, now I want to rewatch that. It's such a great campy 90s thing. We are in October. I'm going to watch it.

What happens if if Yegman were to take the armor off after that, would it be like all of that accumulative damage, like come back? Imagine like a big old shot of adrenaline and then the adrenaline just wears off. So if he sustained injuries that would kill a person and he takes off that armor, he's no longer protected by the armor and he would die. Oh, gotcha. Two follow up questions. One, how does that work with aging? Do I still just age? Am I like going to turn 400 years old and look 400 years old, but still alive? Yes, you still age. OK, OK. And then the next thing is, what if I get beheaded?

Your body keeps going, but your head would die. Oh, OK. All right. So nightmare fuel. Yeah. And I was I got to share the good word that way, too. I was thinking Futurama. The Agnew. Yeah. Yeah. Just like. I I relay all of this to two Yegman and just try and like very carefully explain like this will keep you going. But if you sustain fatal injury, you'll continue to age. You will you will continue to be alive and stay alive. But once you take the armor off, if you've sustained any fatal injury, you will die. And if you lose your head, it will be really spooky and scary.

Huh? OK, so you're good to go and it's like slaps you on the back. I like to think he does that check after it's like and last strap. OK, like we're just. Oh, my God, I know everything. I don't think that would really phase too much. I think, you know, you would say that he would just kind of get lost in a thought and be like, oh, oh, and kind of like hop up and jump right behind you so that we can get to the group. You just don't get hurt. So everyone is at the breakfast table now. Warm goo for everybody. A cat to pet and hold if you'd like. Can I talk to the cat?

Like, can they communicate with Prata being that she's like a tabaxi? They're just they're cats. Yeah. Like, there's no there's no deeper communication. Like, yeah. Like we can like if we were in a really spooky like fake ape, we can get one going like in Congo. I'm trying to think of a way that Prata could be like useful, like trying to watch these people herd cats like literally. I was trying to think, well, if she could communicate kind of with them, maybe she could help.

But if it's kind of useless, she might just sit there and just be like. No, let's also be honest. Even if you spoke fluent cat. No, I know any fucking buddy like that. I mean, you know, I was trying to think of the smartest critters. You just don't care. That's the hottest take of the night. We're going to get emails about that, James. And they are going to be marching toward you like once they see you big, dedicated strides, like a confident strut walking toward you. And can I get a perception check from everybody, please? They don't have weapons drawn and they don't look like they're necessarily here for a fight, but they don't.

They do look a little cross. They look a little kind of like furrow furrow browed. And I'd say they get to within like 10 yards of you somewhere in there. And they're going to they're going to keep walking towards you, but a little slower. And they're kind of scoping you out. And this is a man and a woman, both with bright red hair. Right. The big difference is that the man has this huge beard, like this big, bushy red Santa Claus thing that goes down to about halfway down his chest. And he's the first one who's going to kind of shout a little bit, not not yelling, but the sound just kind of echoes and reverberates down this hall.

We were made aware that the gods, as they were, and as you understand them, no longer exist. Now, we don't know if that means that they're dead. Someone else has replaced them or if they have morphed into something different. But that's a little long and short of where we are today. And we know this is a lot to take in. We know that you've been sort of imprisoned for a really long, long time.

And I don't really have any idea what that's like. But. That's where we met them was the place that they imprisoned you. We saw where you escaped from. Just a long silence while they take a lot of that in. And he's going to he's going to kind of lean in. You realize if you're lying to me, I will rip your fucking head off, right? Very confidently without flinching. I'm not lying. As we know, this is everything that we have. Beyond that, we're we don't have any information. Maybe we can, you know, through whatever is going on with Corvus, maybe. Soon we can get some more.

I, I want to check back in on this party at some point, though, because. Well, way to defuse a situation without fighting, because that probably would have ended poorly for someone. That was the most wholesome ending. It was so good. They're just that's a great way to end. Yeah. Like I figured this would end in combat, but they're just frustrated. They just like they don't have anything to do or. Well, I mean, and that was as soon as Susan was just like. Yeah, you're going to do it. I was like, well, that's I mean, he's not the best at words, but he's mad at them.

So like he'll be able to relate at that. That was slightly meta, slightly because I have no charisma. I would say charisma. But at the same time, she she knows that she can't. Yeah, she's still did. And she understands that this isn't how other people speak. She's aware of that. Like I, I followed you. Yeah, I think we got to have a one shot. So really close up guys and story. Yeah. That's the only thing that didn't get buttoned up enough. And I like there's only so much we can do on Keon. But like, I feel like we could definitely catch up at some point. And like a year later, I get our way.

I overrode his backstory. Oh, I feel like Prada should have. Not necessarily an arc, but maybe like a short story because they need to get back to their own reality or figure out how they fit into this reality. Well, who knows when we collect more demigods like Pokemon? If she continues to be adored by demigods, she might just assume her rightful. I belong here. I am your god now.
