- Howdy everybody out there, and welcome to another brand new episode of Dungeons and Randomness. We're doing something a little different today. It's something I've never tried with another party. And as such, you'll see why the episode is edited minimally today. Still music, still sound effects, still all that, but because time is a very important factor in this episode, you'll kind of see what I mean. I'm really anxious to see what you guys think. Please swing on by our discord and join up, talk with the community, let us know. We just revamped everything.
It looks beautiful. We also reopened the mentorship tier on Patreon where you could sit with me each month and we'll go over your world, your campaign, your mechanics, all that kind of stuff to help you run the best campaign that you can. And of course, Dragon Con is coming up at the end of August into September, Labor Day weekend in Atlanta, Georgia. We're trying to kind of buff that Patreon up so we'll have money for gas and, you know, to stay in a room about halfway to Atlanta. We're going from Hancock, New York to Atlanta, Georgia. And that's like two days of driving, unless we just don't have the money to stop and then we'll just go 24 hours, it'll be fine.
But anyway, thank you so much for your help, for your support, and we really hope you enjoyed today's episode. (dramatic music) - Let's do that thing where we go around the table and we're gonna do this ourselves. I'm Jason of the Dungeon Master going around the table, starting with Mandy. - With me? Oh, I'm never first. Hi guys, this is Mandy and I play Clover, the slightly traumatized, endurant Dragonborn. - This episode's gonna feature a hundred percent less chauvinistic bullshit. I just wanted to, it's like, yeah, that character's dead. You didn't like him?
Well, for me, I don't know what you guys are gonna say. - Ah, geez. And Xavier. - I'm Xavier and I play Zozo, the Dragonborn war log. Trying something. - Ryan Heywood. - Hello there. I'm your friend, Ryan, and tonight I'll be playing Omo, the, well, we know he's a fighter. We've seen him subparred. He's at least one more thing, who knows what that, it could be anything. - Sexy kitten costume. - It's hiding under all of the- - Level one? - Nice. - Yeah. - Well, I mean, we'd have to see first, then we can judge. - So does it just start out with like just the ears and then level two, you get something else.
- You get a little tail. - The tail! A little stubby one and then it gets longer. - When it gets to level four, it's just a stonking good rack. That's, that's, oh. - That's okay. - That's by the goddess. - Yeah. - So that's your ability. That's your attribute. - Level one furry right there. (laughing) - And of course, Ryan Garner. - Hey everyone, my name is Ryan and I play Kriv, the dragonborn paladin. - I am so excited, guys. You have vanquished black goatee Roger. And while it is a shame that he got red potioned and became so aggressive, he's in a better place now, assuming.
Or hell, I don't know. - Probably hell. - Yeah. - Probably hell. So what I'd like to do is do the thing some people were complaining that we didn't do at the end of the last session and pick up things exactly after Roger falls. And I want to explain to you what's happening. Okay? - Oh yes. - So you guys leveled up. It was a big, tough fight. I wanted you guys to know that your efforts appreciated and you're gonna need those. Your night isn't quite over, but I'll elaborate. So there is a black dragon beneath your feet. You know there's a black dragon beneath your feet and it looks like it's frozen in time or like in a block or something.
Like it's been, you know, and you've seen these little lit up cracks all over the floor as you guys were filling in these totems and you know, you're performing, solving these puzzles and performing these tasks. And after Roger falls, there's gonna be a few seconds of just like, what is everybody thinking like in this moment? 'Cause Roger was a beloved pet until, you know. - Did Roger go back to the same site or Roger's still big? - Roger's big and dead. - Okay, so no playing, no tugging at our heartstrings with that. - No, look, everyone starts out cute and innocent and then somewhere along the line, visit a forum or a group, you know.
- Well, so it was kind of thrown back to like a specific scene from like a couple, like a few months ago where I was like, just looking at that corpse on the ground that like he and the group killed, someone he used to trust and that's dead at his feet now and like the kind of like silence after the battle and he's kind of just thrown to that experience and kind of just internalizes it and says nothing. - I think Griff is more confused because we also like at least three of us here never got to hear what was the inner monologue of Roger's head, right? - It's a pretty hard left turn for anybody not talking to him beforehand.
- Yeah, so it was just one of those things of like, oh shit, okay, well, crap, we gotta take him on and then he breaks out this microphone and starts talking and I don't know what to think. - Ohmo will reach into his bag, pull out an apple, polish it, set it down and Roger say, you should have been better than that and he's gonna take the microphone club and say, but I have to see what this is about and now he has a microphone club. - I thought you were like pouring one out for a boy with the apple. - He put the apple on him, he's always gonna remember the Roger's more innocent days when they were throwing apples at him and he was catching them.
It's good times before the bad turn, but also he was talking into his club and it was coming out sounding really cool. There's no way that a Bart doesn't wanna see what he can do with that. - Careful with that Ohmo. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. - Oh, the larger your audience. - Really? - Careful. - And I think Clover is just like a little devastated 'cause for most of the fight, she had no idea what was going on. There's suddenly this giant thing and they're fighting and it kind of dawned on her from everybody's reaction. It's like, oh no, this is Roger and Roger's mean.
- I tried to. - So, Roger's mean. - Sorry, I tried to save you from this. I tried to keep it a secret. I didn't want you. I didn't want your idea of Roger to be tainted, but I guess there was no way. It's better like this. You did a good thing. - She just sadly goes up to Ohmo as he's looking at his microphone thing and does like the cat thing where you just kind of, they just kind of press their forehead against, just like, oh, Ohmo. Roger was mean. I think this place made him mean and it made us have to hurt him and now he's gone. Can I go home now? - Well, I don't know if we can go home yet.
Let's focus on seeing if we can get out of here. - Okay. - Because the place is kind of shown a few times over that it gets to make the rules. - She just like, weaning sad. Also, she's feeling very tired and also has to roll a couple of constitution saving throws because she used a lot of forever points. - That is a drawback of being an endurance. Give them to me. - Yeah. Saving throws. I have to get 10 or more, I think. - Yep. - Normal. - You got this. - Okay, fine. That's one. That was close. - I was panicking because it was a nine. - Go ahead. Hi. Oh shoot. - Ten.
- Still good, right? - Yeah, you cut it close. - Okay. So she's tired, but not tired. - Good Lord. Can I get everyone? Just let's do a round of constitution saving throws, please. Just everybody. - Just because, huh? - Just because. - Look fun. - For funsies. Okay, be better. Oh, thank goodness. - Damn, Mandi, you're on fire. - Great. (soft music) - I'm gonna die. - Damn Ryan, you're rolling like normal. - Yup. I am consistent if nothing else. - I do. - That's good in the leader. I appreciate that in the leader. - Everyone knows what to expect. - I'm getting wild cards.
- Yeah, I mean. - I rolled a crit. Can I give him a little bit of mine? No. - Did you just rub off? - There's nothing. So we'll start now. - I mean, everybody does get a plus three. - Well, that's true. - Except me because of what? - Doesn't your aura give you to you as well? - I don't think it gives me. - I think it does. - Cause you're within aura. - It should be worded that it does. - It depends. Some auras don't work that way, but they specifically say they don't. So it'll be. - Oh my God. - What the hell? - So are you saying, God damn it. Are you saying that when Roger called him a cuck, he was really mad?
- I'm not saying that. - Are you saying that when Roger called him a cuck, he was right? No? Okay. I'm sorry. I'm the never again. - That's your interpretation. - No, it's not. Never again. - No, I think I do. Yeah. - Oh no. You do get the bonus? - Yeah, there we go. - Whenever you are a friendly creature. - Yeah, it's right there. Yeah, yeah, yeah. - I get an extra plus three. - Oh good. You'll need it. That's good. - Before I talk about that, I do want to go back to this podcasting implement there, as said by Xavier in the last thing. So this is essentially a cudgel.
It is a blunt bludgeoning tool, but the other end of it is a casting implement that specifically helps performers, bards especially. So what it does is the longer you're attuned to it, the more it amplifies your bard spells specifically. And the thing is, it's just a microphone. It's what you do with it that counts, right? So you're going to start getting a reputation the longer you hold onto it, because people are going to remember more the stuff you do. The microphone essentially enchants people to remember your deeds and stuff. So anything you do while holding this, you're going to develop a reputation.
And based on that reputation, good or bad things are going to happen. - Holy shit, that's great. - It might be. - Just do good stuff. - Just do good stuff. - Just my name is Erlin, that's all. So this constitution saving throw, guys. Crib and Zozo. - Oops. - Who I would say, they've gotten the crap kicked out of them the most since this day began, I think, from falling and ending up here and then just, you know. You guys are going to tumble over as the entire room shakes. It's going to be one big like, bam, bam. And there's going to be little bits of the ceiling that start crumbling.
Like, not hardcore, but enough that it's like, okay, how sturdy is this place? Like, it's, you know, you're deep underground. There's, you know, this place has seen better days. It's always a concern when you're in a tomb or a crypt or whatever you want to call it. That dragon is going to start to move beneath your feet. And I need to be specific. I don't mean the dragon is twisting and bucking. I mean, the entire thing that the dragon is either frozen in or whatever is moving. It's sliding. And there's going to be a voice that sort of kind of echoes all around you while this place is kind of like trembling a bit while this is moving.
It's not violent, but it is. I'd say you ever been on a bad elevator where you're like, it's like, oh, man, that I feel like this is like kind of like jerking as it's, you know what I mean? It's just a little too shaky. I just don't like it. But this voice is going to come on to the like basically like an intercom like a magical intercom. Congratulations, my brothers. Today is the day. The great Kaizof is about to be freed. And if you are hearing this, that the decision was made to release this ancient and majestic dragon and to attack the cities nearby and reclaim what was rightfully his.
Of course, you are more than welcome to join us in the hatching. Your weapons and armor will be waiting for you. Of course, you will need to keep your ambulance on you at all times or the defenses will be activated. But if you're hearing this, I'm sure that won't be a problem. Well, fuck. Then there's nothing for a couple of seconds. And you can see like as as the dragon's moving, there's this light blue line that is essentially it's like, yeah, come on this way. Like it's leading you to it. Like there's no no more maze. Like it's it's telling you exactly where to go.
Just cave Johnson does. By the way, that sounded great. That was amazing. Thank you. OK, Kriv, you got them amulets. Clover, you touch a lot of things. Do you do you have them? I had my lucky necklace and then the thing ate it. And then we had to kill, you know, Roger. So no, I don't have I don't have a thing. And she said, again, all right. Almost frantically digging through his bag, looking for anything, Ambulance like bread roll over the shoulder, few torches over the shoulder. No ambulance. And. Did you hear that right as well, that this is going to go attack the cities next to us?
Yeah, yeah, that might be a problem if we also want to release a Ruth Ammar. Yeah. We might be able to make a deal with Kaizoth, though. I wouldn't I wouldn't rule that out just yet. What do you think they mean by hatching room? I mean, Kaizoth is supposed to be like huge, right? I'm guessing we're going to have to stop whatever this hatching is. Stop? What do you mean? If it's going to go there and kill everyone in nearby towns. They can defend themselves. And kill it anyways? No, no. Listen, I didn't think this through. This isn't the outcome I was expecting.
But there were these other rooms before this corridor. Maybe it was someplace where people used to put their stuff. Maybe there's something we can go look at. Maybe there's a closet or something with four amulets in it. Jason, is it leading us back to like that central room or is it leading us a different way? It's a new place. It's leading you further in. Do we even see anything open the way that we came from? Or is it pretty sealed up or whatever? Oh yeah, because this is the whole magical movement. Whatever, you get it. It's going down and around that corner.
So it's leading you further in. This is an addendum. The safety oriented brothers have asked me to remind everyone that the great hatching will of course destroy this entire complex. As a courtesy, we have added a countdown timer for everyone. Remember, safety first. Well, there's the timer. Oh my god. Oh my god. We have two decisions to make. We get out now and deal with this Kaizoth raining destruction on everything around us. Or we go down there and see if we can prevent it. Oh yes, prevent it. Yes, we can find an agreement, a solution. You know what, we did not get as far as we did now by stopping to ask questions along the way.
What was it you said, Jozo? The place is going to ask for sacrifices if we're going to free the dragon. And none of that little stuff is going to get us there or something. That's right. If I'd been more bold, I'd still have a finger. So if we hurry up, then maybe I won't lose more than a finger. Now you're starting to get it. Okay. And he's going to mumble under his breath. Kind of like not for you to hear, but he's just going to say, "Now you're better give me a way to take down those defenses. Can we agree on this?" He kind of like comes back to the group like, "Hey guys." What?
All right, deeper we go. So for anybody currently listening, the countdown timer is on the screen for us. Currently at about one hour, 28 minutes and 15 seconds. Talk faster, countdown's going. He wasted 10 seconds by that. Go, go, go. Start moving our characters now. I go down five feet. I go down five feet. I go down five feet. Okay. How's about I just stop you every time that there might be an obstacle? That's right. Okay. So I guess at this point, right, we want to be moving fast, but we're not trying to be oblivious to just like sprinting. Make that as a declaration.
That is the thing. So this, this dragon is kind of moving slowly, but the floor is such that you can see it move. Like you got to keep up with it because you don't know how long the hatching takes and you don't know what your destination is. But you do know that the whole place goes when that happens. So, yeah. Yeah. So what I'm going to be doing, I need a trap spotter. Yeah. Not it. What's everybody's like gut feeling on their perceptions and investigations on their characters? Those are going to volunteer. Like if anyone feels confident. No, not at all. No, I did not troll a lookie guy.
It's me. Wait, I got the dark vision too. Let's go. Just dawned on me. That couldn't have been a recording that was playing on. That means that someone, something is alive. Deeper down because that wouldn't have just been. It felt prerecorded to me talking about us as if we were like some sort of soldiers. But then it was like, oh, well, some of the brothers have reminded me. I was like, if that's a recording, wouldn't you just recorded it? Yeah. Yeah. I mean, those tapes are expensive, man. Okay. I'll tuck that away in the back of my head. Here you go. All right.
Let's walk and talk. Stop me. Stop me when I'm actively looking for traps because I know there are defenses. It was mentioned. So keeping an eye out. Oh, is seeing if his lab is working yet. It's still not working. It's got to be whatever mojo is down here. It's got to be interfering with it. Maybe as you go further, that'll lessen. Also, those though, as you start to walk forward, Cribb touches your back for a split second and a little glow happens to heal you with lay on hands. Up to thirty five. Oh, I want you. I want you to be full. Well, I mean, up to plus thirty five.
Okay. Not a total of thirty five. I can take twenty three more. Twenty three. Okay. Thanks. Thank you, Cribb. I don't think we can afford resting, even if it's for a short time. Well, honestly, I think that you look really great and he throws a healing word your way as well. Well, I mean, at this point, I mean, do it. It'll give Cribb lay on hands points back. So, yeah, take six points back, Cribb. Okay. Oh, thanks. Thanks, guys. Yeah. And then he's going to turn and touch Clover's shoulder and the same thing's going to happen. And I have 18 points to spend. 18?
I will suck those up. I need them. I need them all. All right. Take them all. In case you were wondering, you can right click on that timer and pop it out. Oh, that's good. Oh, I wanted to forget about that. Don't lose track of that, baby. Yeah. Here's how we're going to do this. You guys are going to have to roll travel die. Oh, same system as we have now. Obviously, the bigger the die, the faster you're moving, which means the higher the risk. Your chance to. Yeah. Cool. So don't make me gamble. It's I mean, I think obviously you're going to have to talk it over.
So if you roll a D for your traveling like, you know, 20 or 30 feet. If you go up to a D 20, we're talking like 200 feet. Something like that in a clip. Guys, I want to start for the 20. Do it. I want to do it. Do it. I'm glad we discussed this. Go for it. Oh, Jesus. Yeah, I thought it was a 19. Well, that's a three. Can I get. Oh, no, don't sigh. Oh, no, it's just not a great start. Do me a favor. Do me a favor. Give me a perception check. Yeah. That's a two. That's a six, sir. Oh, thank you. Delightful. Here's why. Let's move you guys down the hall, at least here. We're going to get you all down here.
So. I need a dexterity saving throw from every one of you. OK. I'm great at it. So you're moving at a brisk pace. You're like, oh, shit. Like you're, you know, plus you get a plus three for everybody. Yeah. Thanks, Crib. Do I just hit you three or plus three on that situational bonus? I just think that three should do it. Finally. Oh, they should get plus two also. Oh, God. Ten because of check and roll. That's not great. So this place is constantly checking to see if you have your identification, basically the the the I'm a member of the club thing, the some kind of clearance, something and you guys are moving briskly to keep up with this dragon.
But as you round a corner, these these vents are going to open above you. And boiling water is going to just start pumping out like a just like just just hosing you down. These traps are going to get more lethal as you continue. But this is like a warning. This is scalding hot water. And I was looking for a DC 15 DC 15. So Elmo and Clover, you're going to take two D six damage, two D six fire damage. Oh, hey, fire. That's good for you. Oh, yeah. Fire. It's it's all hot. It's hot stuff. So seven cut in half because you guys are red. We can fail those all day, baby.
To a point. Yeah. Just be careful. All right. I'm so confident you guys. I'm done. Should be three. I can do this thing here, too. Good. You two, let me roll another 20 now. I feel cleaner, but that really hurt. I don't like it that high. Let me let me keep an eye out this time, if you don't mind. But just to say that I want to roll the 20. I don't trust you. I'm not going to stop you. All right. You guys good? Me bold. D hundred. Am I hearing the 20? I would like that. Oh, son of a baby. So does this mean that I should roll next? Yes. It's going to be the opposite. Is that what it.
So, ladies and gentlemen, we have a one. You're welcome. OK, so Jesus Christ, guys, would it be great if like you did the thing? It's time to send and get it. And you just die on the doorstep. First of all, how far do we go before the pain? Let's get you down the hall. Hold on a sec. So from where we started, we headed south and back to the west and now back south again. Each corridor is sizable length. Yes. Yes. But where did this take us? Yes. And the tunnel. Yes. And. Neat. Oh, it tricked me. I thought we were getting so close, right? It's a labyrinth, you guys.
You listeners. Here's a good news, bad news situation. So in front of you is a long hallway. And what we're going to do is we're going to get you down this hallway. Hot diggity. And it's going to be great. Now, this hallway is let's let's measure. Let's just get this. A hundred and let's say 70 feet, 170 feet. OK. All right. That's less than two thirds of a football field. Yeah. We still have that banned spell list on the drive. Yeah. OK. I just want to reference that for something. We were changing spells on the fly. I'm not changing. I'm just making sure that I can use a spell that I have prepared.
That was a good time to do it. Yeah. Well, it's an always prepared one. So I want to make sure that I can use it. Better ask for forgiveness. And I'm misty, step my way through this fucking hallway. Oh, I know that name from a certain list. So there's an hour and 16 minutes left. Oh, God. As you as you round the corner, there is just a long hallway. And you're going to see spinning circular saw blades like pop out in different directions as like as you go further down the hall. So what we're going to do for every 30 feet you go, I need you to succeed on a dexterity saving throw or take two D six damage.
Whoa. What was the DC again? Race you there. Those old takes off. He's in his element. Let's go as those first. What's the worst that can happen? All right. Stairly saving throw plus three for the moment. Too far ahead. Oh, yeah. You get. Yeah. Normal. Eighteen. Oof. That's beautiful. Wonderful. Let's start you here. 15, 20, 25, 30 right there. Give me another one. Oh, yeah. So so races and dodges those blades jump and like does it like backflip in between two blades. Very narrowly escaping death. Never looked so cool. I have a feature called. Oopsie, that's another one from my background, from the upcoming book, setting book from Theria living under a shadow, which allows me to reroll a failed saving throw if it's in order to prove a point and that you're an edge lord.
I'm trying to prove to everybody that I said race you there. I'm trying to win this gauntlet race. Yeah. You know, I'll take that. I'll take that. Thank you. It might be a one again anyway. So it would be odd to that. It's a two. Does he do it, though? Does he do it? It's a no. It's no. These are all saving throws, so make sure you get your throw. No, you're outside. I got it the first time. Yeah. All right. Two D six damage. Here we go. But how seven? OK. Don't worry. OK. But you do get to move forward. That's true. OK. What we want to do is we want to run after him before the traps have had a chance to receive.
God, go ahead. Give me another dexterity saving throw. You them all. Are you going to keep going? OK. Madman. Do it. Here we go again. Looks like you've got about three more. 20. Here we go again. Seventeen. And one last one more. Here we go again. Oh, 24. And he finishes like a gymnast, like Olympic gymnast, just like with the three flip and then sticks the landing. It probably got you on the upper arm that one time. Like, shit, like just like. Yeah. Like they are still sharp. Everyone was really worried at the spinny's, but it looks like you got right through them.
One hour and 12 minutes remaining. Who's next? Real quick, before anyone goes, Kriv is going to kind of like look down, have his hand up, and he's going to like kiss something in his hand and point it up. And Kriv, Olmo and Clover are all going to glow like just like two quick pulses and then it's going to disappear. Everyone's going to be blessed. So you're going to have at least one attempt to add a d4 to your saving throw. Nice. How are we all doing for spell slots and shit? Because I'm going to be getting dire. Running out. I don't know for sure, because it's reset a lot of them.
Oh, I don't remember you using. Well, maybe like a few healing words. One other healing word. So at least. You mostly swung, swung the hammer. But I know I used at least one more summoner reduced that first levels by one more. I use a decent amount, so I could use a charge at some point. All right. Are you rolling? Yeah. Go for it. Are you doing it? Garnish? You're up. You want to just. OK, let's go. Let's go, baby. Get that plus three. Analyzing where these blades are coming out each time. See, it's random. It seems to be just all over the map. One, two, three, four, six.
You're going to be OK. 14 will do it. Right, Clover, go. Yeah, we got to stay in our group. We got to get you guys. We got a cluster. I pictured like us three are trying to move all around the same time. We just roll. You should you should let them go first and then move last for the bonus. I go, oh, sure. So I will say that we're keeping up with him or no? I do want to say that it's a narrow hallway and having you guys go at the same time is going to give you a negative three. Don't worry about it. OK, well, I might as well just it changes nothing then. OK, the bless still applies.
It's easier to narrate this way, probably. Well, yeah, but like I just yeah, I'm just trying to think of it from a logic standpoint. Crib, keep going, baby. All righty. 19, that'll do it. So most of these are kind of coming down at you and you're just like you're you're you're able to kind of keep up with it. 16 will do it. Crib is not dexterous. I think this is more luck and very slight movements out of the way. That one's going to get you. That's an 11. So 2D6 damage. Eight. Keep going. You got like, oh, Jesus. Rolled a two for a total of seven. That's 2D6.
Five more damage. Better. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh! Rollstreak! Ay! You got a rollstreak too! You too! You're using a rose, baby! Thanks for that. Thanks for this, bud! Aw, geez, mate! Thanks, table! Oh, god, that's ten damage! Ah, fuck, okay. Jesus! So, Cribbs is not quite as dexterous as his... This is salamander-esque compatriot, so this, like, you started off well and just the first time you got hit it's like, "Fuck, ow, ow, ow!" He just slides into that home plate down the... And just rolls back over. Well done, boss. Just walking blood. Clover, you already did your first one and it was a 22, so you're 30 feet in, let's keep going!
Yep, and she's like, I bet Cribb is like, "Keep going!" You're the frailest member of the party, so to speak. I am, so... So don't fail. 18 will do it! Alright, alright, alright. Next. Shout out to Sense Fortress. Ooh! She's like, "This is kind of fun! Look at me, look at me!" Just dancing by the blades. Is that like a sprint? Can you move twice as far as a crit? Um, I didn't take anything away for a crit fail, so like... It's a very good dodge. It's very good, though. Cool points. 13 will just do it! Oh, thank goodness for bonus. Thank you, Tuck and Roll. Thank you.
That's those little things that Endurance pick up in their life that like, I'm gonna have to dodge or I'm gonna die quick. Okay, please, please, please. Oh, that's a crit fail! Glad I didn't do anything for a crit fail, because... Yeah. Okay. 2d6 damage. Oof, 9. See, does this do it? That's like a third of your health. Okay, ouchies. Ouchies, ouchies. You're gonna win this one. Last one, last one, baby, you got this. Ooh! 23 is perfect! You're on the other side. She tripped and just like, "Ah, ah, ah, uncle, ah, ah!" That hurt! As you dodged the last blade, so it was just waiting for you with the high five, like, with the high, with his hand extended, it's just like, for the, coming in from the home run, high five, yeah.
She snaps out of pain, whining, and is like, "High five, yay!" So, Omo's going to start running, uh, dexterity saves normal, I think it is. And I imagine what, what Grace anyone else has, Omo doesn't have, and he's either, like, these are all probably really old, so they're either stabbing him, probably, or he's running into him and they're just breaking off against him or something like that. He's out. Yeah. Cool, cool advantage. Yeah. Great start. Uh, that's a seven, so 2d6. No, I guess even the bless wouldn't come into play. Oof! Oh. You can do the bless once.
I can, but I don't know if that would help with the... No, not mathematically. You might not want to use it on a seven, yeah. Uh, so, that's 11 damage. Ow. It's got to suck, too, to look at the timer. It's like one hour, five minutes. Oh, that's a crit one. At what's up with all the bad rolls today? Just getting it out of the way nice and early. Yeah, that's what we say. Nine damage. Jesus. Okay, while he's running, he is going to take a minute to use his second wind. Yeah. Just extending his hand, like, to the blades, like, "Oh, give me a minute, give me a second." Just talk about the full action.
Time out. That's a full action, isn't it? Yes, but we're running right now. That's a bonus action. Second wind. Is it? It says once per short rest, you can use a bonus action. Yeah, bonus action. Oh, I'm sorry. I heard it differently. It's like, "This is not a rest." Like, I got what you're saying. I'm dumb. So, yeah, do it. Let's do that. Oh, my God, Ryan. I don't know what to do, man. I'm rubbing off on everyone. We got our Ryans mixed up today. That's right. You didn't know I was jinxed today? I'm sorry. I used up everything when we were doing the trivia. All right, I need to roll another saving throw.
Yeah, give me another saving throw. That was five hit points, though. Jesus Christ. Roll streak. Crone again? Did he get his movement for the previous one, though? I don't know. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, because we stopped there because he was doing... We celebrated that. Yeah. It's trying. It's like a happy kid. It's like, "That's a roll streak." It's like, "Of ones. Shut up." All right. Let's just rip off the Band-Aid. He gets down. I'll let you do the damage. I'll keep rolling the saving throw. They're a sharp Band-Aid. I'm rolling so high, Jason. Right. That's 11. What are you doing?
You know it's possible to roll two on 2d6es, right? Right? What the hell? I don't know. Elmo might not make it. Let's see how this goes. This is... Beefy. You're the one who said you were running into them. I think the table's trying to role play that. 11's not going to do it. Do the bless. I'm going to use the bless. Let's use that. Do it. You just got to get to 13. 13. Oh, 13. That's fine. It's 14. Good. Okay. That's one time he's not taking damage. Oh, Jesus. We call that a win at these parts. I thought Kriv was going to be a horrible run. I don't want to eat up time because there's one hour and two minutes left, but like, what do you got?
Jesus. I cannot roll a top 10 to save my life. He's coming down the hall and it's just bam, bam, bam. Like they're coming out of the woodwork and he's just taking it. It's all dark too and we can't see him with all the blades. We just hear it. Yeah. And he's saying... He's probably like starting to like sit up at this point because he was still laying down and it's just like the wincing on his face of like, ooh. And he's yelling at this point, "Cuz mentor, you owe me." Sorry. Just like, "Dodge cousin." All right. Last one. Oh, thank God. Yeah. Someone get a wrench.
Throw it at him. I'm going to hit Elmo. You finally figured out how to dodge the last one. Oh, I see what you mean. I thought you meant in the blades. Oh, no, no, no. So that took almost three quarters of a full health bar. It's real bad when you can now see the health at the bottom of your icon all the time. It's good though. There's little blood splatters everywhere you took damage to. Yeah. He's going to say to himself, "I did great. I did great. And I'm going to cast second level healing word on myself." Ooh. Yeah. That's going to leave a mark. Okay. High rolls, baby.
You got it. Yeah, we'll see how it goes. Nine. Okay. That's not bad. It's better than not nine. Oh, you're back up to half health there. I think Mandy's got to roll. For what? Oh, for the thing. Really? Yeah. Time to travel, baby. Now we're even now. I'm going to do 20. Let's do it. Great. It's above a 10. A fountain opens up over us and it's just healing potion. It's just Avion. That's all. It's like, "Hey, just have a cool refreshing shower this time." Okay. You're doing it. You're doing great. Who's turn is it? Ryan. Griff, Griff, Griff, Griff, Griff. Everybody. What? 14?
Yeah. I contributed. That's my Ryan. We're in Bizarro world today. I understand now. The rolls have been pretty crazy. It's been a weird jinx today the whole time. That's all I'm saying. If we did D4s, would we just be pecking our way through this thing? Just ding, ding, ding, ding, ding. What with no damage? Mostly the dangers too. That's the thing. It's like I'm moving you big chunks instead of like... Yeah, because 30 feet as you saw in that hallway takes forever. Oh yeah. Sounds like, yeah, this is a terrible situation. So that leads us to Zuzo. I'll do it. Oh.
Two again. Where's my streak? Where's my putty? You broke that streak when you were doing that amazing show for us. Oh, yeah. I should have known. Well. Jesus God. That was Zuzo. So here's what we're going to do. As you guys are walking down this hallway here, can you see the little lanterns? In the section that we're in, yes. Like these things? Yeah. The little... The torches on the walls? Yeah. Okay. Sconces. Yes. And then down the corner, there's this big circular slab on the wall. And it is going to start to sparkle and light up and spin. And there is this big, hot flame that's going to shoot out of it and stretch all the way to the end of the hallway.
And you can see that there are... Let me illuminate things here a bit more for you. You can see these little alcoves where the coffins are, where the fire doesn't get to. So you have to sprint down the hallway and then break right and hide in those alcoves as the fire comes at you. Speaking my language. This is all for Xavier, honestly. Oh, man. Let's do it. Who wants to go first? Can I rip off the bandaid, guys? Yeah. Well, you can go first. You three should be okay with the fire and all. I'll take visual clues that I don't have. We don't have the same scales.
None of it matters. I'm not saying that matters. Not Roger. Just run. And at this point, Crave puts his hands on his knees and he's just catching a breath for a second. So here's the thing. I'll give you an option. So you can make it to the end of the hallway and jump just in one role if you want. But I got to give you a disadvantage for the role. Or we can do this in three roles and it would be a little safer, but slower. What are we making? Is it a decks check? If you run. It'll be a deck save. And if we don't run? Then I'm going to be asking you for athletics.
Athletics. That's fair. Just three of them. For health's sake. Here's one. Oh my God. Oh my God. Thank you. Holy shit. That modifier did some heavy lifting. Roll a seven. Got a 17. That's right. I'm going to do it again. One cap 11. Stop rolling that. Okay, hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up. The devil's due. Oh my God. Thank God it's fire. So you're going to make it to that first alcove and that jet of flame is just and then it's going to stop. You're going to feel that heat in the air, but like that thing's powered down and you're going to go for the next one and just biff it.
Like even with a 10 modifier, it's not enough. And this thing's going to hit you full blast as you as you're ducking in. And I got to do 46, but it's halved because you're red. Snow. Yay. Low rolls, low rolls, low rolls, 15. Could be worse. All right. I got you for half damage. Don't worry. Boom. Okay. Give me one more baby. Got it. 20. You're fine. You're safe. You're you're you're good. Who's next? It only hurts a lot, guys. Griff can go. You heard the guy. Go captain. 54 minutes. 22 is going to be just fine. You're going to duck into that first alcove. However, rolling a four, getting a nine is not going to be enough.
You know, crib and fire. It's not a great history, man. No. Well, it's more of the explosion. Oh, good. Look at that. Half of seven. That's the best you could have hoped for. Honestly, that was like three ones. Hit me with the last one. Give me athletics. But for it's more explosions. Explosions may make him kind of. That's fair. Have some internal troubles. You're going to make it to the end of the hallway with that 16 and holy shit. I am really worried about Clover. Clover, go. If you fall on your face, I can pick you up. Can you hear the train? No, I thought it was a metaphor.
Train is going. It's the pain train. Literal train. OK. OK, so I want to do the Dex one. So that's that's yeah. So that's a Dex save. OK, good. Because I'm like, oh, my ethics. Not good. So we're shooting for 15 or higher. 15 or higher. All right. So boom, boom, boom, boom. Oh, OK. Nineteen. Holy shit. So Clover is just going to break out into it like just full sprint as soon as she sees the thing cool down the first time and leap just as it's coming back on, like clears it. Everything's fine. And that leaves the one of you who doesn't get a damage reduction of any kind.
So was I supposed to do a disadvantage? Oh, yes. Shit. You'll be fine. You're fine. Go ahead. You're fine still. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I thought we were celebrating too quick. OK, Zozo. Yeah. I want to see if I can argue something real quick, but the answer can be no. I have cunning action, which means I can take Dash as a bonus action, making Zozo kind of like a quick character. I don't know if that could give me some sort of edge on this Dex saving throw or not, because he runs fast in the corridor between the flame bursts or not. That's fine. But if you feel like typing this in, I'll give you a plus two to your disadvantage roll.
OK. That's unfair. Yep. So it's disadvantage, but with a plus two on each roll through to a disadvantage. Oh, boy. Oh, top rolling ones and twos. OK, so Clover's going to get through and then so so it's like, OK, that seems easy. And not not get there in time at all. All right. I got to do I got to do forty six and this is all going to stick. So oh, nine ones in there. Nine damage. OK. He's coming in, car two initially burnt with like his one horn still has like some some flame at the tip of it. And when you make it down to the hallway, that thing is going to deactivate for the last time here.
And yeah. And doors are going to open into a very large room. 50 minutes left. We're still rolling for movement. Yes we are. OK, not me. All right, Ryan, Mr. Heywood. Yeah, it's going to be great. Look in the eyes. You're going to you're a champion and you're going to do great. I do great. OK. Yeah, let's do this. Yes. Thanks for the pep talk, boss. Yeah, I guess that's what I you can blame the other ones on me, I guess. How dare you, Mandy? Mandy says, I must admit, I didn't believe. How dare you? You've been rolling you've rolled like five ones this session. It's like kind of crazy.
You may have broken a record with how many ones that have been rolled. And as the resident crit fail expert, is it the pressure? Is that what it is? I could ease off the pressure. I'm just getting all of them out of the way. Let's move. If the timers count. OK. All right. OK. It's true. All right. Clover, you're up. Let's let's let's go, Mandy. All right. Good. Oh, gee, 20 again. Duck, duck. Oh, nice. Sixteen. Da da da da. Wonderful cousins. Hell yeah. Next trouble. Thanks. If you want to see how we do, I'm making notes of all our numbers. Oh, no. Nice one. Last one that falls on Mr.
Garner and roll. Oh, my God. He's right, baby. I am back. Oh, the balance of the world has been restored. Crit one. We're going to get to this door. It's going to be within line of sight. And we just mimic door. That's before. I mean, not now. I'm not going to be able to measure this pain. Yeah. I think you guys need it more than me. Does someone have a wish spell that can just feel everything? Yes, I do. But oh, you kind of do. Kind of do. I don't know what it would end up looking like, but. And you got to use them or you're going to die anyway. Die anyway. If only I.
You know what? He just back, he just tried his robe in that lamp one more time. No, no. OK, so hold on. Oh. So this time the lamps going to light up and like it's going to tremble and it feels like like something's forcing cosmic door to like, but it's weakening like it is definitely weakening. Hmm. Two checks from everybody. All right. So under each one of you is going to be a vent that opens up and this poisonous green jet stream. Think Marilyn Monroe, but less sexy and more poison. So it's just going to blow right up your skirts. And I need a dexterity saving throw from everyone.
Oh, everyone gets a plus three. Oh, twenty one. We're looking for twelve or better, guys, just twelve or better. For eighteen, fourteen, nineteen. Oh, yeah. Hey, go team. Good job. So the last one that you guys are sitting here, it's like, fuck, like you're just like, oh, God. And finally, we learned. This brings you to a very large room and that like the dragon has shifted to the point where there's a couple of times where you guys got caught up in some things. So it went ahead, but it has stopped in this room now. And this place is just trimming it up. There are these big green magic lights kind of pulsing into the center of the room and you can kind of see.
You can kind of see like the dragon underneath and this thing is this thing is it's it's it's about to go down now. This is a very sacred holy chamber, right? This was, you know, whatever is about to happen. This dragon is about to be free and this whole place is going to go up. And on the opposite side of the room, you can see casks like these very like they're glass encased weapons and armor like you can see them. These things look beautiful. And something's going to drop from the ceiling and we're because you guys don't have the proper ID, we're going to have to something's going to have to try and stop you.
There's a bodyguard of sorts. Give me one second. You know what? I'll stop the timer. Oh, good. I think that seems fair. I'm just not stopping. It is not stopping. Whatever. I'll just it's fine. It's 44. We got plenty of time. Oh, yeah. We got to leave also if it all goes to shit. Couldn't have gotten that short rest. We'll be fine. Be good. Totally fine. It's going to be great to do a charge. I want to get one to four points. Yeah. But it's only an action for a charge. Oh, hey, look. Oh, damn it, locate object is on the list. Sorry, man. I was going to see if I could locate one of the amulets among the rubble here.
Oh, I like that. There's all those big bugs up there. I think they're dead bugs. They look pretty dead to me. Yeah. Better inside any of the coffins here. Wondering what kind of weapons we see behind the glass cases back there. Oh, there's so there's a line of them and they are there's dozens. Well hammers, but you said the clock is ticking. You set up this week. We can talk about what we think it is. I got you. I got you. So from the ceiling, two of these large stone golem creatures are just going to drop and blam like hit right in front of you. Well, that's interesting.
Why is it singling me out? It's the same to me. OK, phew. What do you do? It is like user Xavier lacks permission, something, something. Oh yeah, no, you're fine. So everybody, here's what we're going to do. We're going to do combat, but we need to do it fast because there are 41 minutes left. So everybody toggling yourself for the combat tracker. I forget how to do that. Right click yourself and then there's like a shield and two swords. We're going to do combat. This podcast is supported by Progressive, a leader in RV insurance. See app for details. Bye mom. I did something. Did do something. OK, I got a crit and still got a 19. Whoa. Is that really allowed to anyone else? My heart? Yeah, sorry. Crib, you're up. Fuck. OK. A quick look at how many spell slots I have. How far is he? OK, so. Crib's not looking good, but Crib's going to just kind of charge ahead. And just basically be screaming, I don't have time for this and just take his take his his pike and just almost bring it down to the very back and just do like one big giant swing with it as it starts to pulse.
How do I get through that? Attack. Normal. That is a crit in the other direction, a good crit. Oh, shit. You needed one of those. Do me a favor. Give me a D6 to see if we're going to roll on our table. Please do. Oh, we're not going to do that this time, but that's OK. Fuck. That's OK. Crit damage. Yes. Crit damage. Damage crits. Well, I also want to layer on a level two. Wherever it is, I can't find it. Can't think of the name of it either. Pressure is getting to me. Can't think. It's a smite. Flurry? Is it a flurry? What are you doing? I can't find a thingy for it. Where's the thingy?
Is it a smite? It is. I don't know how much I'm supposed to do. It's under features. 2d8 plus 1d8 for the additional. Is it a divine smite? Yes. I see divine sense. Oh, there it is. 2d8 plus one for the additional. So basically 3d8. All right. Oh, another 13 damage. And then immediately after that, he's going to kind of bring his pike back down and just stab forward with a normal swing for 14. That is not going to hit. Damn. Okay. So he misses on the stab, but he did pull off a first big hit. Yeah, that's good. That didn't really do much to his. Clover, you're up.
He's a giant. He's big. He's a big stone thing. He's a mug. Clover is going to be like, Oh, more big guys. And she's going to kind of duck back and just like, Oh, there's so many things. I don't know what to do. And so she's going to go over here and she's going to like kind of hunch over, but she's also going to be like glowing with little sparkles as they kind of go near, near, near as she's charging up. Oh, that's yeah. That's smart. Please hide. Oh, that's great. That is amazing. So that's four more forever points to get back. You need those good stuff. You might be a clincher in this fight to be honest, but we'll see.
She's going to, yeah, I'm going to sit right there. Okay. You are up. 47 minutes. Bonus section. Almost gets big. Oh, helping just regular big large size. So instead of one square, he gets four squares. He stands up. He stands up straighter. He's a big boy. Thank you. Boom. Let's see. Five, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30. He can not make it far enough. Let's say you do because you're big. He's got four more paths. Well, I would say it's five feet. Let's say he gets over there. He's not fully flanking at the moment, but he's close enough to hit. Theoretically. He slams his a hammer on the ground causing it to resonate.
Let's set up that booming blade action. And he tries to hit him with a big ball. Oh, 26 will definitely hit. All right. Boom. That that and I will do the regular damage for the booming blade for the regular hit and max damage of eight. It's eight. As he hits the reverberation, pulls forth a bolt of lightning from the lamp that comes through and does an extra three damage. I can explain that if you want to, or we can keep it a surprise for a little bit longer. How much time will it take? Thirty five minutes. Shut up. It's a if you were to turn around and just tell everybody, guys, don't worry.
It's it's it's the lamp. Cosmetors helping. That's what the lightning is doing. And that comes in, does an automatic proficiency bonus amount of damage. That's three. And now I'll actually just roll the weapon damage. Another 13 damage. And that's a turn. Whoo. OK, Zozo, you are up. So Zozo's jumped on this kind of altar thing at the entrance, and he's got sword in hand. And the other hand, he's raising it over his head. And this like dark, dark fire sphere is forming in his hand and kind of like starts levitating over his head and it keeps expanding and expanding.
Read me your power. Can I not hit Kriv, maybe? Hopefully, not the dragon. I mean, I am smaller than he is. I can't see the darkness of the area under the icons. What are you trying to do? Do you see my my my? Oh, yes. Now I do. OK, it wasn't there before. I want to see if I can like not hit the dragon and Kriv. Dragon's underground. You're fine. Oh, OK. Then boom. Yeah. I don't want to hurt maybe a potential, you know, master. So he's going to create this dark sphere of fire above his head and he's going to yell hell fire bomb and toss it. And it's going to keep expanding until it hits the ground and on impact, it explodes into a fireball spell.
And if these dudes are resistance to resistance to fire damage because they're made of stone, maybe then or not. But I have a feat elemental adept. They are not OK. Well, just just just you know, wait to crack off a fireball, could you? I mean, as if I just got it. It's a fireball. Just got it. Yeah. No, packs level three consumes fell slide. Measured templates already there. So guests fell. So what we could do. Hold on a second. You got to see. Making them both roll dexterity saving throws. Oh, they both make it. Wow. OK, that's fair. Who all the roll damage, though?
Yeah, do it. 86 fire. Oh, no, 32. So they're they're taking half of that, but that's still 16 damage, man. That first one's getting kind of beat up like it's it's it's got less than half hit points and there's no reaction. There's no it doesn't get bloody. That's stone. So it's fine. Good. That's it for me. OK, let's see here, baby. It is the stone giant's turn. The big one. It is going to march this way because where do you get off? It's nice for him to move right in the flanking position. Well, he's got a multi attack and he's going to use this great club with reach to swing it zozo, then clover.
So first. 18 that hits. Oh, maximum damage, 14. Oh, oh, shit. Here comes one for clover. Let's see, it's what is hitting make it if it's tied, it makes it OK, make it. Yeah, good damage. Maximum damage again. Jesus. Oh, that drops both of you to about a quarter of your health. Half hour remaining. Another stone giant's turn, same thing. One for almost then one for Kriv. Trying to make this as fast as possible. One for almost. 18. Just it's OK. He can't roll fucking max all the time. 10 damage. It's not bad. OK. And then one for Kriv. That was almost a one 22, though.
Yeah. Oof, almost minimum damage eight. That brings us to the end of round one. Oh, no, then one of the stone giant zozo stone giant clover crib. All right. Yeah, I go from first to last shit. Elmo stomps that blade on the ground again. He sets up that booming blade right on top of them. I'm not going to bother placing that again, but let's see if he hits before I go crazy. But you know what? Before I do that, he is going to move up into a full flank. Oh, yes, do that. All right. Let's make this roll with advantage. Let's drop that one to take a 15. 22 will hit, sir.
OK, we're not messing around this time, Jason. We are going to start off. He takes that three automatically. I'm just going to tack that onto the base hammer damage. Good, good. Thank you. Actually, I don't want to do that. I'll just start off with that. Yeah. I am 10 damage before. Right. And there is the giant's might strength that I forgot to add last time. That's an extra D6. OK. Another four damage. All right. His loot is strumming and making all kinds of crazy noises as he swung his hammer around like that. We're going to call that a defensive flourish. That's an extra D6 that gets added to his armor class.
Oh, shit. It's doing damage. That's an extra three. So 21 AC for now. They can get past it, but hopefully they don't, because, oh, yeah, big rolls, though. Jesus. OK, fuck. And then he uses his action surge and he swings again. Oh, shit. Look at you. OK. Yeah, but I used up all the things that I can use up once around already. But if it's more damage, it's more damage. Honestly, look. Drop an eight to take an 11, 18 will hit. All right. We'll just roll regular damage because I don't think I can add the extra stuff once around. Six damage. And if there are anything else to do, I would be doing what you know what?
And I use a bonus action to use a healing word. No, I used spell as a cantrip. Let's move on. Yep. A big stone giant that is right between our our wonderful Zozo and Kriv is going to position himself over clover and raise that giant stone club up. And it seems to be charging for something. And that is going to be its turn. Zozo. Oh, I don't like the sound of that. He does the check out my armpits power. I hate that. Can I delay my action? Yeah, that's my turn. You have to basically prep an action. Yeah, he's going to yell shout to clover clover. Get as far as you can from that thing.
And I'm going to wait until clover has gotten far from that thing to pop a thing. Oh, OK. I'm fine with that. I'm OK with that. OK. Stone giant that is between Kriv and Almo. Let's do great club again. One for Kriv. Twelve. That will miss. Oh, I needed it. One for Almo. Twenty one. What a dick. I've got some amazing news for you, Jason. He just barely hits. So sorry. Damage. Twelve. He's I would have knocked me swinging. He's fine. Just one hit. Oh, my God. Jesus. I don't know what you're worried about. He's doing great. Twenty five minutes remaining. That'll bring up clover.
Oh, and almost drops. We'll speed up the rest of the rounds for you guys. It's charging. Does it look like you can do a reaction? No. OK, I'm going to hit it. So I'm going to do what is this like? How come I can't move myself? Oh, here. This one. If I go here, is this what do you call it? You want to get melee like melee or. Yeah. OK. I'm going to do it after because. Yeah. OK. Yeah. Then I would give you advantage for that. You're flanking. Yeah. So she's like, OK, you said to get. But I have to hit it. So she's going to charge up her sparkles and she's going to smack him in the face with using her two of her new newly gotten forever points.
So first bunch. Do we go? There is a tech with that. Oh, my gosh. 15 will hit 15 will just hit. OK, normal. And then also two more days max damage on the first one. Eleven. Yeah. Yes. Whoo. And nine more damage. And right. So take a little chunks out again with the other side. I'm not supposed to particularly vulnerable to Mandy's attacks. Force damage. No, strangely enough. I'm also doing it to you again. But they also turn up for resistance to fire. So it's like, yeah, it's fine. Twenty one. Oh, yeah. And I'm going to add two more things again. He's up talking to your mike.
Use your rope. Yeah. Using up all those things. Here we go. So after that, going to move to one, two, three, four. I hope that's enough. That's far enough. I don't know. So get far enough away. We're not going and just like, just look it back. Jesus, that do you want to insert yourself? I don't like the way that sounded. Would you like to take your turn now? Yes. Why? It never sounds good. Never sounds good. I will slide into Clover's DMS. I don't like it. So, so your turn. Bonus action disengage. He's going to back flip off of that altar and move all the way back. You need to use a bonus action, by the way.
He's charged up so he can't make a reaction. So you're good. It's just just a simple back flip of the altar then. Yes. Then that's one, two, three, four, five, six. As far as I can. I collided with a wall. I can't move. I got you, baby. Thank you. And I'm going to look at the bracers I have and just say, all right, time to see what you got. And he's going to kind of like aim both of his fists at that stone golem. And I'm going to do whatever, whatever, however they work. Give me a D6. D6. Four. Four. Earth. Oh, I need you. Yeah. I need you to give me a D20 and that's how powerful this is going to be. 17.
Jesus Christ. OK. Earth on Earth action. Can you give me just a ranged basic attack, please? Yes, that's going to be plus six. I'm going to just roll a D20 plus six. 21. That will absolutely hit this thing. So you're you know, these gauntlets are going to like glow and you're going to feel this immense power. And luckily you were on target and you got to you got to roll high. So 17 is damn near off the charts. 20 is like, boom, Oppenheimer shit. But you're going to blast and the ground in front of you is going to rip and scoop until it becomes essentially this tsunami of stone and dirt and brick.
And it's going to hammer the shit out of this stone giant. And I need it to make a Constitution saving throw. It's it's just OK. It is going to be standing, but its turn, its charge is over and it got it's going to take 10 D6 damage. Yeah. I need to roll that manually because Jesus is 10 damage. Oh, that looks good. 40 damage as. Jesus, that was that that counts as a good win. 20 minutes remaining, guys. Oh, I forgot about the time. You're up. All right. So for the sake of saving time, two big pike attacks advantage with advantage. Yeah. First one. Oh, I'll drop it to to take a 10 15 will hit.
OK, so with the damage on that also with two D eight or sorry, three D eight, not three D 87, three D eight and normal 22 damage. And then another one. With advantage, advantage. Oh, oh, that one's a 10. That one's no good. That was a 21 that will hit. Yes. OK. And then he's going to use the last of what he has to D8. 19 damage. Oh, almost almost. It's it's wobbling. It's waving. All right. Anything else that that's everything that I can do. That's all my spells. That's all my moves. That new initiative is super important. Fuck. Oh, no. No. Oh, stone giants go first.
Oh, my God. It is literally a game of rocket tag here, guys. Anyone can go down. Anyone can get it. Oh, my God. I love it. 18 minutes. Let's go. Whoa, my bad. Oh, giant. That is the most beat up one between who who who. Let's do the lift the hammer into the thing again. Yeah. Oh, baby. You know what? Let's just go with what got us to the dance. Yeah. Great. Get it. All right. Here's let's do one for crib first. 24 damage. Oh, OK. You make it. I'm at four hit points. Jesus, God. Here's one for Zosa with disadvantage, right? No, no, not so just just sorry. Not so. Oh, it's just 21.
Just yeah, just 21. Here we go. I just got to roll low enough. Nope. God damn it. Almost up. OK. Well, you can't physically do enough damage. Oh, and insultingly rolls minimum. So Zozo is unconscious for now. So so so so so. God damn it. The good ones. And with oh, I'm just so jacked, guys. Oh, my name, Cribbo. Let's throw a rock. Let me laugh this hard. Clover, so so give me a D20. Whoever rolls lowest is my target. OK. Oh, here we go. Oh, four. Oh, no. Oh, the cousins. Oh, man. Oh, my God. Oh, she says the cousins. Oh, man. OK. Well, Mandy, I'm very sorry. You're getting a rock thrown at you.
Is it just one rock? Is it 16? Yeah. That's me. Yes. I mean, honestly, it says that that's a lot of save. Oh, that's a. Oh, 25. 25 Danny, we'll not clover clean out. Oh, damn. Clover can I get a death saving throw, please? Sure. OK. Pray for a 20. Just pray for 20. Death saving throws here. I haven't had to do it. Oh, I found it. I found it. OK, good. No more. That's a success. Good. Oh, no. Death saving throw, please pray for 20. Do I get it? Here we go. Nope. Oh, my God. Oh, Christ. Zozo, you're up. OK, so I was going to back flip again just to get even further away because he sees everybody like fall down.
And he's going to. Hold on. No, I think that back 15 minutes. One, two, three, four, five, six. He's going to look towards. Crib and he's going to go assist Crib and he's going to kind of like run head down towards the other giant tic tic tic tic tic tic with his blade along his side. It's going to get coated in dark flames. And I'm sorry, but he's going to yell black flame blade and he's going to swing at it. No, no, no. We're taking it back. It's fine. We're going to do it. It's mine now. Yeah. And I'm going to cast a green flame. Let's fucking do it. And by that, I mean I need to do an attack.
And if it hits the thing, there's a thing. What damage I assume. Attack. No. It's coming. 25 will hit. All right. Do the damage, baby. Do the damage. So that's the rapier damage. No. That will kill the giant. Well then, I. Anything else? And then he's going to. Now I moved. I did the attack. I could dash further away. I'm going to use my bonus action to dash and move again and kind of like reposition. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 here. Like, yeah, kind of go back here just so. Distance targets. Kriv, you're up. You got a dead giant and one live one across the way over by Clover.
So he's going to turn 180 degrees. Make one step forward and do a breath weapon. Oh, yeah. So he is going to kind of like look up and you kind of see it billowing up inside of like his throat and then bring his head down and just basically spit a big thing of fire. Oh, dexterity is not their strong suit, but that will just succeed. 12. OK, so is that no damage? Half. OK, so my role that half damage. All right. And then. Oh, wait, why did it just mark me as unconscious? Oh, you did damage to yourself. Oh, did I? Yeah, I got you. I got you. OK, he thinks there's no way out.
He's like cyanide pill. He's fake teeth. You're not getting me. You will not take me. OK. And then after that, he's going to take some steps back. OK, that's going to be his turn. OK, just under 12 minutes, everybody. It's time for round four. Zozo clover, Criv, Olmo, then the stone giant. OK, I like you got a. Zozo. All right. I like to add just for the record, when he killed the other giant, like those black tendrils, smoky like ashes, like were absorbed kind of like into Zozo's body again. And I get eight hit points. I hate that. I hate to have hit points. Hate hit point.
Those aren't hate hit points, my guy. I'm sure all hit points are good hit points. Uh huh. 11 minutes, but yes. OK, he's going to counter a smaller flame in his hand, toss it on the ground, it's going to ripple towards the stone giant casting Creed bonfires. You know, what was it? Dark fire burst. And then he needs to roll the reflex dexterity saving throw. What am I shooting for? 19? Yeah, you beat it. So absolutely nothing happens. Oh no. Yeah, that's the I'm going to go taunt him. He looks so worried. OK, he's like, fuck, and he's going to run towards the stone giant to get his attention.
I'm OK. One, two, three, four, five. OK, I can't step back on the thing, so. Can we pretend I'm on the altar? Sure. Uh, OK, Clover, give me a death saving throw, please. To success is baby Kriv. Well, fuck, I don't really have anything else ranged that I can do. Nine minutes, 45 seconds. I'm going to have to go up there. I don't want to crowd them, but that's all that I got. So Kriv is going to break into a run forward, just kind of holding his pike out as he's kind of charging ahead for a big stab. OK, big stab, baby. Give it to him. An attack. Oh, 11 is not going to do it.
And then a second one. Normal attack. Oh, that's a three. He isn't going to do it. Nothing. Shit. OK, OK. Good guys. Just a correction for the create bonfire, though, the fire is still there. And every time he's going to end his turn on the zone, it's just like a five foot square zone. He's going to need to like roll for that save again. Oh, OK. I forgot. That's why I picked this. Uh, Elmo, give me a death saving throw, please. Can do. Big money. 18. That's a good success. Oh, God. OK. Eight minutes. Let's go. Stone giant. Let's take a swing at Kriv. Less than a 17. Could this be 23?
That's going to hit damage. Nine. Yep, that's it. Shit. He's going to step forward right up to Zozo. Great club attack. Oh, he's going to be fit 12. That's not it. Shit. That's a miss. This is your moment. Oh, my God. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Round five, everybody. Clover, all Mo Kriv, so so and then the stone giant. Does the stone giant get that bonfire thingy? The start of his turn. Yeah, the end of his turn, I believe. Is it the end of his turn? I'll just double check. Yeah. Seven and a half minutes. Yeah. Yeah, you do that. Clover, give me a death saving throw.
Yeah. I behind behind behind. Shit. That's two saves. One fail. It is when he ends there. OK, cool. Almo, you're up. Give me that. So can one. I mean, does he do it? He ended there. Oh, yeah. Sorry. Two successes. Stone giant dexterity saving throw, right? Yeah. OK. 15. Yeah, OK, that is still a save. Jesus. Kriv, give me a death saving throw. Welcome to the club. All right. Big high one. A total of 20. Zozo. OK, black white blade. I'm going to I'm going to swing at him. Oh, baby. So many buttons click just to attack. Oh, man. Two. That's a nine total. OK, I'm going to bonus disengage.
One, two, three, four, five, six. Got to try to lead him away from the gang. Unless he throws rocks. Yeah, Stone Giant is going to throw a rock. Jesus. Oh, God. Oh, it was almost 20 lands on the two. 11 is going to miss. She says round seven, we have five minutes and 40 seconds remaining. Yes. Do that. See me through again. All know you are up. Oh, shit. He does have to do that. Same again. Sorry. You know, that's going to miss, right? Yeah. Do the eight. I'll roll it to the eight. Jesus. To the eight. Um. OK, there's a two. Oh, shit, nine damage is not bad. That's going to eat away this healthy.
He's got just a little bit left. Almost. Shit. What is that? Two fingers. Come on. Oh, my God. Stone Giant is going to throw another rock. If. If, if, if it's going to be like. Oh, what would be great? Whoa. 15 hits. Oh, Jesus. God, here we go. Oh, man. Twenty five damage. Now you have 10 hit points, don't you? The eight. 13 plus eight equals 22. Oh, OK. Oh, yeah. So let me talk to you about something, Jason. Cosmentor. Yeah, he's been trying to get out for a while. He has. You know what I'm going to do? And yeah, go ahead. So this is going to knock Zozo out and there are four minutes remaining.
If you give me a D20 and roll a 10 or higher, Cosmentor is going to going to saunter on out here. Oh, my God. Seven. OK, so. Can almost get pulled in. So, yeah, the last one of you is going to black out here. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And. The time is going to slowly tick away and. You're going to be. Awoken. By. Just a horrendous cacophony of noise, like you are like, like it's going to be one of those things where you you basically you're revived with one hit point and it's like, oh, God, like, you know, you are beat up. And there is this hole in the middle of like a crater, like a meteor struck it.
And. Tunneling up through this cavern is just a solid, empty column, and there is nothing but daylight up there. And that dragon is gone. And I think that's a good time for us to stop for the night. I don't want anyone feeling bad about that, because that was a tremendous performance. We were so close. So close. We were right there. I'm sorry. Oh, man. So close. Thanks for waking us up. You know. Now we got to lose. We got to lose. Now it's a hunting party. Get those weapons and go on a hunt. Yeah. Yeah. And I'm looking at a timer now if this is still on the episode.
But two minutes, two minutes left on the clock. It it was so close, like everything was down to the wire. Yeah. You guys are amazing. Seriously. Like, I am so sorry. Whatever like tormentor demon you guys pissed off. But those rolls. Yeah, rolls. But geez, like it was so bad. Mr. Haywood specifically. You're welcome. I'm sorry. Like. How much health? Did he have left the stone giant? Yeah. Eight. Eight. Oh, my God. What? So sad. Damn. I shouldn't have done the flame breath. I should have just charged in. And if you guys want to feel better, they each had 126 health when they started.
So you guys. Well, that's because of my one going. Yeah, it wasn't great. The no healing power left on our part didn't help. Yeah. Yeah. You guys, though, kicked in the door and kicked so much ass so quickly. And it just I'm sure I've never done this before. I'm sure it wasn't easy with that timer. You guys did very fun. That was fun. I loved it. Oh, man. Oh, good job, though, guys. Holy hell. Thanks. Thanks. Thanks. Thanks for giving us another chance. Yeah. I was like, oh, yeah, no, I'm not here to murder everybody and they're not here to kill you. Just stop you. That's right.
I mean, I really thought the place would like collapse on us. I was like, oh, well, and or like that saving throws. This is totaled. But yeah, this. Yeah. Yeah. All right. I figured that or we would be slaves of this dragon. This I wouldn't mind this. I wouldn't mind. You guys are so insignificant. Wow. I bet. Yeah. Well, now now we think about our characters, though. Now we got to go to our real dragon to fight this dragon that we maybe unleashed. Or maybe they love each other and they want to love each other. Maybe it's going to be good for them. What if I told you there's one more huge thing for this campaign?
Oh, and it's something we planted seeds for three arcs ago. Good. Oh, that's all I'm saying, baby. Yeah. Like, I remember, team, that this was all like a random travel encounter of what we're doing right now. Yeah. And it's out there. Oh, I can't wait. People like to hear those, like the fact that we have to go to a Ruth Mar and see if like that can be like a big epic dragon battle there. Or cuddle. Let them fight. They'll retire together in a night's cottagecore situation. What cities are close to us? Well, let's open the big map. I did. I did kind of promise the the mage in the Umen-Yirro, like I'd send the dragon to like burn them all, like burn it down so he can do a thing.
So he got it for free. Let's see what cities we just doomed because, you know, I've got a couple live PCs. Just two of the biggest ones. Oh, please go to Donhurst. Here's the thing. If they go to Donhurst, goodbye, Ravens. If they go to Brightport, goodbye, invasion. Good news, guys. We're fine somehow. Apparently, Forsaken's the safest for being in hell currently. Donhurst is the closest and it's not even close. Shoot. Yeah. Toss up. No, no, no. Because we were still in the Hazan Mountains. We were just on the other side of that. Yeah, there's a little there's a little marker.
Yeah, we were. It's like Almor's toast. Sorry, Almor. Oh, don't go to Orad. Yeah, so we're sad. How many years? It's easy to see. That's where the last of the war forged are. Poor guys. Well, oh, no. Yeah. Hate to see it. Yeah. Well, none of it's our fault. So, you know, it was just start whistling and backing up. Yeah. Yeah. We did a thing that we just got to get our legendary ancient weapons. Yeah. And who each move out of here? There's 12 of them. Yeah. What I wish I did is I would use the spell slot with the microphone to heal up. But I didn't see what that would do to me.
And no, don't look. You could have done a lot of sit here all day. It was a time when the savior could have blew his own hands off by using those gauntlets. But oh, cool. Now I know that. Have I not told you? I mean, it's been hinted at. Those things work really well or really poorly. They work really well. It ate like half his health that one time. So I almost did it twice, but I wasn't sure.
