We all just randomly stopped and looked at each other and then it stopped because I was like, Oh, this is cute. Like cause I thought it was like, Oh wait, we're not on discord. So it's not the soundboard. What the fuck is happening? We'll see. Let's talk the deck of many things.

So very rarely do we do anything stock on dungeons and randomness. And the deck of many things is fine. It's totally fine. Hats off to the fine folks who came up with the idea and did it, but, but we don't usually just take something from the book and run with it, which means of course there are custom cards all the way down. It's it's yeah. Like it's all kinds of stuff in there. And obviously it's not just going to be clover centric. Like some of them could impact the world. Some of them could impact the parties. Some of them. But there's all kinds of fun stuff in there.

So getting flashbacks, but how many of them are going to affect Kelsey though? Well, okay. Only three in one way or another. Yeah. I'm just going to fall in Ryan's lead and just do all of them until yeah. You remember you got to look them in the eye at some point, like next year's dragon one purpose in mind. And we keep going until we meet that purpose. That's it. And everybody said, I got to do them all. So I don't know. Maybe. Okay. But we can at least pace ourselves. Yeah. I like the what somebody said is do one as an episode. I mean, today I'm going to do as many as I want, but you know, I'm if I simply survive one.

We'll have earned one per episode. Yeah. And we still have to deal with we have how many wishes with Cosmentor? Two. Two more left. Yeah. Okay. And a big mission. Don't worry about the big. Don't forget about the mission. The big mission. How do you forget about the mission? Well, we've got the deck of many things. We've got two wishes or death. And that's not even the first thing that we're going to one of the first things we're going to have to deal with. I mean, and now we kind of have two missions. We got two big dragons. So let me ask you guys. Bad. Well, OK, first with all Mo, you still you still hanging out in in Cosmentor's pad or have you had a chance to maybe tag out a bit and like talk to the rest of the party about all the things you got to do?

Well, last I knew he was getting massage and he was very hurt. But the way I imagine is somewhere mid massage, he passed right the fuck out. Like completely out, like embarrassingly so. Ah, now, of course, mentor just felt that was rude and said, get out of here. There. I mean, yeah, consent is key. So he's going to he's he's probably going to port you out after they rub down. Yeah. So you'll kind of appear in like a puff of smoke, but like still curled up and stuff. So so you know what? Let's give everybody a long rest in this place. All right. It's not ideal, but like, what are you going to do?

Right. So table talk for a minute. What do each one of you feel is the most pressing? Like where like where should you were? Where should your effort and wishes and time be dedicated to? Yeah. Well, Zozo has been clear thus far, but mission is still go destroy the artifact as fast as possible. Go make a deal with Aruthimar as fast as possible, because now there's like another dragon who got to deal with and you know, Aruthimar is going to be pretty helpful in that situation. I think. I think Kriv would be along with that plan. I mean, that's that's his line of thinking.

But we didn't have a means of making a bargain with either dragon. And we do know where a dragon is that we might be able to find to say, hey, would you come with us to make a bargain? Well, we have a bargain with Aruthimar in that the red dragonborn wanted to basically do the same they did with her as they did a Strahd. That's right. And that one worked because of food and sex. Yeah. So right now we can supply food, but not necessarily sex. Well, it doesn't mean she's going to need sex, but like at least offer food and worshiping. We did that. It's not on me.

It's like that's your boss. That's what your boss's offer. Honestly, food and sex is a strong offer, though. I mean, I can Zozo can offer sex, but I don't know if it will be enough. I was thinking it. The spirit is willing. I can't. So do we stop and try to get Aruthimar first and then continue on to Esther Holt and say, hey, can you hang tight while we go get this guy to make the deal? Would you like it? Yeah. What will become the packbound the matchmakers? Probably because, yeah, because it's just like rewind a little bit before there was a second black dragon into play.

The mission was just go see Aruthimar, make deal. The end. But now there's more. So yeah, I think once that's done, of course, that action might be to go. Well, I don't know. It was based on the on the whim that if we found another dragon for for Kysoth to mate with, like we're assuming a lot. Yeah, it's still a big component, right? It's not like we're just walking up to their den and going like, hey, we want to praise you. It's the whole freeing and then we want to praise you type of thing. And then we can also get Aruthimar's opinion on the whole Kysol situation.

That's that's what I'm thinking. And I think we need to think beyond Aruthimar for the moment. Mandy, what did you say? Is Kysoth a boy dragon? Yes. Strangely enough, like usually like male black dragons are kind of their their land is kind of flat, tiny. Yeah, yeah, yeah. This one's this is a big one, which, you know, might show its age quite a bit like it's been locked away for a long time. So yeah. So maybe he'll calm down if he gets some. OK, can we stop talking about dragon sex so much? Whoa, whoa, whoa. I mean, wow. Monster efforts everywhere are very happy.

Yeah, yeah. OK. Should we also like this is us Mandy, because Clover has no thoughts on this, by the way. But Mandy thinks that, yes, doing our mission good. Do we have to worry that Kysoth is going to go and destroy several cities while we're on our mission? Well, I think that's why we need to get Aruthimar now. Yeah, it's not a bad idea. Fair. That is fair. So maybe we're using some of the wishes to get closer to what we need. Yeah, it's tough because there's two left. Yep. And, you know, as soon as you finish making your last one, someone's got to pay. We don't know who.

It sounds like you're dedicated to making wishes. What what wishes? OK, guys, so so here's what I'm thinking, right? You guys want to use one to get us really close to where Ruth Maria is so that we can kind of scope it out, sneak up, right? No, sorry. No, no. We got to find the artifact first and destroy it. That's the first step. And it's not close to where Ruth Maria. No, it's where my my hot babe is pointing at, where we have it on a map that Kriv has.

It's not the same place. Oh, so so. Oh, hello. It's been a while. Speaking of dragon sex, it's different. Like every time the compass is mentioned, picture bouncy sound effects like, you know, like perfect. Very dead or alive. Very dead or alive. Yeah. Nice. So. So here's what I'm here's how I've been thinking about the wording for that wish. We want to get there immediately. Teleported. Not not in the future. And how much time it would take to walk there or not copies of us over there. Not in the sky above the destination, not in the ground, on the ground where we need to be with our minds inside our own bodies.

No weird mixing with flies or anything. Just us, our gear, not naked, our gear there at the place we need to be, where we already spent a wish to know where it is. That's what I'm thinking. That's a big sentence. How do we narrow that down? I have this cursed armor that I'd kind of like to use a wish to not be coming by. I don't want to be cursed. What? What's I have a wish I have cursed armor. I mean, it makes sense to use one to not be cursed, right? I mean, you could use that curse and turn it into your strength. It sounds cool to you. You can work with that.

You could live with it. Make it your own. What effect that some things hurt me more is a strength that. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that is. I'm pretty sure that's the opposite of the strength. That's what I do. I think about all the things that hurt me and I cast fire. And that's why you're not in charge. So why don't for the next two wishes? I don't one, we look at removing the curse and then two, we look at getting teleported safely to within a safe vicinity of the artifact that is controlling a Ruth. Oh wait, guys, what if I try to say what if I ask him for it, for it, for it, whenever somebody tries to fight me at the curse on the armor, the curse specifically, and none of the benefits affect anybody who attacks me instead of me.

No, you're right. That's too complicated. It would go horribly wrong. Look, I'm not going to fight you on this is your wishes. OK, I give up. Word them like you want. I'm going to be in the back over here trying to get used to this new armor I got, but I'm going to make use of my curse. You wish for whatever you want. I kind of throws his arms up in the air. I'm John. And then and then we go, we want to teleport to the artifact after that. Safely teleport into a safe location. OK, like, I don't want to get teleported into the middle of a wall. OK, so like that would be like like using one that would ask for us as a group to be teleported there as if the safest possible teleportation spell was used.

Yes, teleportation type spell was used. Sure, OK. Cool, I'm sure it'll work out great. Have at it, OK, I want to be there two hours. OK, I'm sure we'll figure it out. All right, let's see if let's let's call it the big guy. And he rubs the lamp. That's right. You rub that. You know, was this like a fun story thing where you awarded this to us or was this did you have an ulterior motive? Just wondering. Just a fun story thing. Then you guys started licking stuff and used to be so pure. Yeah, we contaminated that. We we did that. Anyway, rubbing the lamp. Master!

Oh, Cosmet, wow, man, you just always come out with such a big pop. Let me tell you, it's awesome. OK, I got it's time, buddy. I got two wishes. But it's going to be it. I mean, you're not really going to be like around. I mean, I know you said you check in when you can, but it'll be time for you to move on to the new thing. You're going to be OK without us or big guy? I'll miss you, Cosco. I have grown quite fond of some of you. I was in the back, like struggling to put on his arm. It's like, get on with it. Of course, I wish you nothing but the best master, and we will always have our time on the couch.

Yeah, that is a comfy couch. Anyway, all right. Wish number one, this armor is cursed. And that means that I'm stuck with the curse and I don't like being cursed. So I wish that I was no longer affected by the curse of this armor so that I could take it off and be done with it. Granted! Like stripper pants, the armor is just going to tear away. Oh, man, I need all my clothes to do that. Guys, for real, Ryan here, I almost said, oh, man, I wish I could do that with all my clothes and well, you know where that would have gone. Oh, wow, that'd be great. This close.

Terrible, but great. Yeah, just convenient. Yeah. OK, the next thing and we've been talking about this. This last wish, big guy. I promised I wasn't going to cry. It's going to be OK. All right. All right. I'm OK. I'm OK. All right. Here we go. We're going to go where we were going to want to go to where the artifact is that is controlling a Ruth of Marr so that we can or whatever kind of magical item is controlling a Ruth of Marr. And so what we're going to ask for is the safest possible teleport spell for all of us, the our group to go there together. So I wish that our group were to go to the artifact or magic item that is controlling a Ruth of Marr.

Wait, hold on, back up, back up, unwind, stop. I lost the wording somewhere. What was it? What was I going to wish for? A safe teleport and do a safe location, safely. Use the word safe. OK. All right. Got it. I wish for the four of us to safely teleport to a safe location by the artifact or item that is controlling a Ruth of Marr. Can it not hurt to please? I still heard. I can, of course, do that for you. Would you like to tally everything up and pick a tab as were as I'm granting this last wish? I don't know how to do that. I do! Oh, good. OK, I've had a few moments to add everything up.

And of course, the appropriate amount of bad luck is going to be granted to a group similar to yours. And at this time, I've narrowed it down to three points. Shit. OK. Yes. Well, that is a lot fewer people than it could have potentially affected, I assume. It's not a whole town, it's great. Well, I like to minimize casualties when I can. And it is seen appropriate that a small group of adventurers should impact another group of small adventurers. Check this out, yeah. Now, I'm going to ask you to pick one of these groups. OK. And whoever you pick is going to get a wallet with bad luck.

Oh, but it will be all at once. OK. Once the deed is done, our debt is settled and I will wish you a fine rest of your life. Oh, that's good. That's good. That's a nice touch. I've had time to work on that. Yeah. Would you like to know the identity of the group or would you like to pick it random? No, absolutely. We want to know who they are. Yeah. From the back over here, just getting interesting. Show me their face. We get like little three mirrors that pop up where we can see. This is like a 70s game show and opens and everything. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, it's it's tested number one.

What do you like? Whatever the rest of that joke is. No, it's a good job. So it sounds like. You want to know how would cause mentor describe those groups? Oh, baby, I thought you'd never ask. Let me jump into it. Group number one are a small group of doers sent from a city to the west. They were managed to investigate the city of the donors and border with its vampire population. Currently, they're on a bridge that's as close as I have. Oddly enough, our second group is also within those city limits. However, they were just resurrected coming from hell. Oh, I like them.

Number three is a bit different, seemingly and mostly coming from poverty. They've inherited quite a large match, currently exploring it. OK, no, this this sounds like an easy I'm going to run this by you guys, OK? Yeah, the first group is stuck in a town with vampires. And and they seem like they're probably nice guys, whatever. Right. That's vampires. It's got to be scary, I assume. I only saw a few in Aubrey, but that was a long time ago and they were OK. The other group just got out of hell. They've had a bad enough time. The third group is rich. They'll be fine.

And there's a chance there is a chance to go ahead. I'll let you finish. But but meta wise, it means hitting Kelsey again. Yeah, I was going to ask, is there any chance that bad luck might like revert the age of those people? Because if so, I'm all in. I'm not telling them, you got to tell them. And you got to say Ryan guarded. Yeah, I'm not. And it was me. It was Ryan's attention to the recording. Ryan was very quiet. Like, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's a good thing we didn't wish for too much. That was too big. That probably helps. Yeah. Well, OK, guys, so. It doesn't seem fair to just pick one.

So what I'm going to do is I have this little die in my bag, just this normal six sided die in my bag. What I'm going to do is I'm going to roll it in one, two. It's the first group, three, four. It's second group, five, six. It's a third group. So it's unfair to everybody. Or does that look like a cop out to you guys? Mentor sounds like a cop out to those. Oh, Mandy thinks it sounds like a cop out. How shall I lose friends tonight? Let's think, OK. Did I mention? Yeah. That picking at random changes the amount of bad luck before one takes three. Does that make it worse?

My knowledge, I am. Oh, who would you judge that go with the hell group? They'll figure it out. I think they came from a hell. They're not good people. Well, it's a good point. I'm going to say the group on the bridge bridge collapse. They all escape. I think they could handle that. OK, so you think it's hell group? You think it should be the good guys on the bridge? What do you think, cousin?

I don't like giving bad luck to anybody. Can't we just give them more good luck? Just gives in giving Costco. Oh, sad puppy eyes. This was always pretty clear. Master, would you like to punish? Oh, I don't like punishing people. It's not like you know any of them. Well, you know, you don't have you know, you know who I want to punish. If it were up to me, the cult that keeps trying to like cast spells on dragons and use them, they're the ones I wanted to go on. And I say, oh, I love you all. Well, right back at the heart of the process. It's out of my hands, but I really know it for future.

Pretty sure they're like they're like a crowdfunded group of adventurers we could target instead, like one of two or three possibly. Exclusive to only a few people. There's a group building some sort of submersible, what's all I know. This is about you see this. Yeah, but you're sorry. You know, I pick a role. I well. It sounded like it probably is a little bit better to pick. And while I don't want to be mean to somebody that did just make it out of hell. They should like I think that Jozo made a good point. They should be tough enough to handle it because they just got out of hell.

And also they were just in hell. They can't be good people. They were in hell, right? Exactly. That's how it works. It's how it works. It's how we all understand it to work. All right. Making it known here, I had no part of this decision. We would have done the raven and he would have been 100% part of that decision. But I'm not. It's true. My request, his ability to go after them and affect them should be as slightly mistaken as any possible interpretations of my wish. Over time, all the wishes. That's fair. Beach of contact. Therefore, the pursuit creature that was seeking to balance should also be flawed and not quite work right. Oh, I understand what you're saying. Oh, and hand out candy. You know what? That should definitely be involved somehow. Yes. Yes, please. This creature does have a finite amount of power. But then it encompasses all of the bad luck you should have got once that runs out, it will dissipate and disappear forever.

But like, yeah, it definitely appears as though like it's it's darker, like it's it's darker than what we could see from the opening in the ceiling. Like I really do feel it was darts at a board and like none of our units of measurement make any sense. And I think that's why I had such a hard time in school, like judging distances like I just it. It's just like it's kind of just like muffled. Can't make him go outside of it. It's like, God damn it. He tries to crack his whip. It's just like the flails all over. It's like, oh, it's sad. Yeah, the winds got to make a whip really tricky. He's just holding his going back. Like also. I get wouldn't a whip freeze. Maybe maybe if it's I don't know. If it's wet, for sure. Weather, but I would imagine like because it's leather, so like it as a club. Yeah, eventually. Yeah. All right. So here's what is going to happen. We're not usually in this position. Every hour, everyone except for Zozo, yes, is going to need to make a DC 10 Constitution save.

Why, eventually, by then we're going up there and he like almost points straight up, going up there to destroy a thing. Strap it to our pack, at least while we're on the mountain. Then you're not chafing and, you know, getting bits and bobs everywhere. OK, yeah, it takes a while to take off. It has a heavy armor. It's a medium armor. It's like it's like five minutes. Let's take a break. I'll go and I'll go over there in the corner and I'll do something about it. OK. If you need any help. No. Oh, OK. Slaps your hand. I'll I'll be over here. If Jason and the rest of the group would allow me, I'd like to to push something well, so those away from the group. Yeah, that's bold. We can play that out.

Sure. So I'm assuming for me, a short, like a small camp or small like resting for everybody, he just goes away from him. It's going to sit cross legged and just put the whip in front of him and look at it, arms crossed still in his armor. Then he's going to conjure his like dark shadow fire katana and kind of like hold it in his hand. And then he's going to kind of like let it dissipate into smokey fire. And he's going to put his hand on the whip. And I'm basically performing like a warlock thing, packed of a blade where I transform the magic weapon into my packed weapon.

But he's going to keep thinking about that vision and that demon lady who showed up. He's going to introspect. He's going to go. OK, I don't know if you can hear me, I don't know how this works. And I kind of want to play into the new like transforming to a demon power with his current thing. I don't know how it'll turn out, but we'll see. I need more from you. I need to be stronger now if I if I was just a little stronger earlier in there in the cavern, I would have lived long enough to down those guardian statues. I would have won. Do you if you could just give me a little more?

I could wear this armor, will this whip? In return, I'll let you take up more real estate. Not everything, but you can stretch your legs out a little more. I'll feed you a little more, not bodies. I still have the taste of their blood in my mouth, and it makes me want to puke. I'll give you life force and magic essence, whatever. But if you can just grant me just a little more to wear this damn armor, spread my wings or something, then you can stretch out in my arms and my legs. It's going to be this feeling that kind of comes over you, right? And externally, if anybody were looking at you, there'd be like this, this this green, flickery flame in your eyes.

And. You're going to get this like second wind, this this this almost it's like, oh, like that armor that was so heavy and cumbersome, all of a sudden it's going to be it's going to be fine. Like you like it just evens out. You're going to you're going to feel that. But you're also going to feel as though it's a tough. Imagine you have a vicious dog chained up near your front porch. And one day the porch just breaks and that chain is gone and you can kind of feel that chain like go slack and it's like, oh, like it's kind of like you you usually feel like you have a tighter grip on that.

And it's it's the exact moment that armor doesn't feel as heavy is the exact moment you feel that chain go slack a bit. And you're just like, oh, like, you know what I mean? Yeah. And you're also going to hear your party yell because outside. Something is going to approach the camp. So. This giant looking lizard, it almost looks like a rock. It's very difficult to to kind of see through the wind and stuff, and then eventually it's like, oh, shit. So you're going to it's probably going to be like, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, take care of the armor later. Come on.

Like it's it's it's like, come on, let's go. Like that type of thing. And this is a frost salamander. And it is going to attack the party. And it has a friend. So behind it. Is a second for all salamander. And I think that's a good time for us to stop for the night. Who may be out, I can't cast fireballs next time. Damn. OK. Boy. That was a lot of random.
