Oh, let's do that thing where we go around the table and introduce ourselves. I'm Jason. I'm the Dungeon Master going around the table, starting with Xavier. Hello, it's me Xavier. I play Zozo, the Dragonborn warlock rogue, taking a page from Ryan's book. Just a dash of fighter now. Hedging my bets. We had a couple of people write in and it's like, they're multi-classing too much. I'm like, tell them. It's worked out okay so far. We'll see in this fight though. Got a lot of peanut butter on that toast. It balances out with the other side. So we'll see people multi-classing and two people not multi-classing.
Yeah. We'll see who lives. And then I think that'll be our test. Oh, dang. Oh, shoot. Speaking of which, Mr. Ryan Heywood. Hello there friends. I am your pal Ryan Heywood. And as usual, I'll be playing Omo who for tonight only I have retooled to have one level of each class. You're welcome. And Mr. Ryan, I almost said my mama. I just added syllables to Mr. Hello, Mr. That guy. I don't know what else that I can use. What else can I say when I intro? I need some. You got to say my mama. My name is Ryan. I play Crib Dragonborn Paladin. And hopefully I stay that way by the end of the session.
Ominous. I got a desert many things we never know. Anywho. And last and certainly not least, one of the coolest lesbians I know. Mandy. Am I the coolest one of the coolest? I said one of. That's a tough. That's tough. You have to sit and really think about it. I know a lot of lesbians. Oh, I don't. I know my wife and I know me and I know our neighbors are way cooler than us. And I actually don't know any other. They're pretty cool. I don't know. That's debatable. I don't know them. They have a giant like cool a pride flag and it's just so neat and do lots of just like they're just cool.
I am one order to Amazon and you can catch right up like it's I don't I can't express how cool it is, but OK. I'm Mandy and I play Clover, who is not a cool lesbian either. But that's OK. I don't know. Actually, no. Roll for cool lesbianism. Let's let's get separate roles on a skit like how lesbian lesbian. It's a gradient. It's sounds like it's an RPG right there. Oh, man. I I'm getting a new idea, guys, for a campaign. It's going to be real weird. I want to be in it on that. As long as it can be cool. Well, I hate starting off. I hate starting off sessions with combat, but that is exactly where we find ourselves.
You guys are honing in. You're you're almost to your destination, which is the staff that has a magical hold on a Ruth Ammar. And standing in your way currently are two very large frost salamanders. Some would even call them huge. So if you would be so kind as to add yourselves to the combat tracker and roll initiative button. So something I'm going to start doing is letting you guys know what the odds are here, roughly. Oh, good. Oh, good. Well, the reason. So I have installed many mods to foundry foundry is a wonderful tabletop, highly customizable. There's going to be a Mandy button in one of the releases.
It's going to be great. This this combat encounter is rated hard with an exclamation point and it's red. So like it was epic a second ago before Cribb jumped in. So, yeah, see, decision maker right here. Yeah. I'm the reason. I don't know if you can see it. Oh, I want to see it. You know, you got to be you've got to get licensed first. You can't just know that stuff. You got to you know, I'm bonded with the state. So I'm a role in four. Oh, no. OK, so 13 and five. So, OK, it's going to. Oh, Cribb, you got to roll. I found it. Nice. OK, so for round one, it's going to be Zozo, Clover, Frost Salamander, Olmo, Cribb, Frost Salamander.
I like that spacing. And let's begin. Why is there a timer now? There's a timer for each round, for every turn. Yeah. Oh, OK. So last we met, Zozo was still kind of like taking a rest, doing his packed weapon thing, and then going internally, making some sort of deal inside of him. And at the end of that, he felt that chain loosen and something that was attached to it, kind of like running down the street. Couple with that, a strange demon lady gave him demon powers. And now he's kind of like surging with all of that at once. And he hears the rest of the group going, yo, yo, yo, yo, big two big dudes.
Those were your words. I remember. It's canon. Yeah. Yeah. And so he snaps out of it, kind of just opens his eye, wakes up and then catches on dark flames. And I want to use that once a day, turn into a demon thing. How does that work? Oh, shoot. So here it kind of just surges out like he doesn't even control it. So there's a couple of good things and a couple of bad things. Good thing is it essentially counts as raging for the most part. So regular bludgeoning, bludgeoning, piercing, slashing, that damage is cut in half. Cool. Unless it's magical. Then, you know, in in this particular case, you are immune to fire damage like of any kind.
You are you are susceptible to holy damage, though. So you got to watch out for that. I don't think these salamanders are going to I don't think they're they're clergymen or anything. So you're fine. But, you know, and it being like a rage, can I still cast spells or is that you're fine? So this is this is kind of magical rage. So you're fine. Any spells you cast, you get to what level are you? Nine, seven, eight, eight, eight. Yeah. Yeah. That's right. Ryan, Mandy are special. Oh, that's right. Oh, yeah, that's right. So you get to add one d six to any spell that hits.
All right. Well, let's do it. He said he he had a vision where he sprouted wings. Does he have wings? Can he fly or is that not not really? I just areas. So I know three minutes have gone by on the timer. No, no, no, no, no. This it's going to grow with levels. So right now it's more like horns. Picture more Hellboy like perfect. You know what I mean? Perfect. Yeah. All right. So he's going to erupt into his demon form with all that dark fire stuff. He's just going to yell with like otherworldly voice, like two voices are speaking at the same time and fire bomb.
And he's going to toss a fireball between both to hit both, basically. Oh, that's yeah. That's that's not good. I can tell you right now for free. These guys don't like fire. Frost's element is feeling there. Yeah, this is real Pokemon right now. It's it's super effective if it hits like so it's going to be 86 plus one D six, you said for the raging. So it's going to be 96 fire damage. Well, I know what they need to save. Yeah. I was about to say I do get to try dexterity save. Right. And just what am I shooting for? Fourteen, I believe. Yes. Fourteen. All right.
Here's the first one. Oh, that's 20. And here's the second one. Well, that was almost a 20 again. It's like, oh, don't do that. They're going to think I've. So the first one saves. Second one fails. OK. The thing doesn't go up to nine, so I'm going to roll like roll slash roll. Oh, God. Thirty seconds remaining, guys. Teach you for being creative. Oh, there's a lot of ones. I have a feet elemental adapt. All the ones are twos. Nice. Oh, so now I got to do math. Yes. One, two, three. There's four ones. So that's plus four. So thirty, thirty, thirty. All right. All right.
Well, first round over timing. Wait, no, this is fire. You fucking prick. Hold on a second. So now hold on a second. Well, it's going to be regular damage for the one who saved and then it isn't because they're vulnerable to fire damage. So it's the regular damage it would have gotten for the first one and double for the second. That's the easiest way to put it. OK, so we'll have to get it. All right. So that's one. And this one just eats crap. So delicious. And then Zozo will run using a bonus action, going to dash and go here, kind of like away from the group, attracting their attention.
That's bold. All right, Clover, you are up. OK, Clover is going to touch myself. There I go. OK, Clover is going to see these big boys and just be like, oh, we had to fight again. Just she's cold. She's grumpy. Her her cousin didn't look at her cards. So she's like, but cousin. So she is going to move. Oh, where did my cone thing go to? Oh, that was yours. Oh, I'm sorry. Did you want to tweet it? How dare you? I was prepping myself. I can't do anything with that. Sorry. That's all you. OK. OK. Two, four, five, six. So, OK. And then you're moving up right between the two of them, between the two.
And I'm going to get up. She's going to like just be like feeling a little bitter. So she's like starting to channel and lots of glitter is just starting to like pew pew pew pew pew pew out of her. And then she's going to go, oh, and a cone of just sparkles. Just imagine glitter bomb goes towards these these guys. OK. All right. I want to make sure that out. OK. I'm pretty sure there it hits both. I didn't my cone until you delete it. Yeah. No. Yeah. It did. It did hit both. How dare you. So I am doing shield your eyes and endurance level seven ability. And each creature in the area.
So both must make a constitution saving throw on a field. Save. They take forty six force damage and they and enemies. Oh, enemy people attacking them have advantage until the end of the targets next turn. Shit. What's the save? I'm a shooter. Constantly. Oh, gosh. Shoot. You know what is. I'm guessing it is. Oh, I'm guessing it is a DC 15. It's right in your spell book. Look in my features thing. I'm I'm help. OK. Thank you. No problem. All right. First one's going to save in this business. Twenty three. Yeah, they're con. They're Connie. Got it. And second one. It's OK.
They're both going to save. They still get to take half damage. So but they don't get the advantage. Sadly. So forty six for D6, like half of this five. Yeah, that's not it's not too bad. It's not bad. And then I have one more movement. So I'm going to go up and she's like, oh, it's sparkles dinner had no effect. And right back. Oh, golly. First, here's OK. Frost salamander. Well, OK. Crip stepped up. I'm sorry. So so stepped up. They get to make. Oh, that can't be correct. Hold on. They get to make one bite and four claw attacks. Oh, OK. Shit attacks. Yeah. The claws don't do a lot of damage.
The bite does. So here we go. First one. Oh, I rolled it to total of 11. That's a big ass modifier, though. Yeah, that's a miss. OK. And first clause coming at Zozo. Twenty five. That's a hit. OK, so that's only. Oh, shit, actually. OK, nine damages. Maybe half of that because of the reach. That's a good thing. You're right. That's magical. No, these are just big ass claws. OK. Thankfully, here's another one. This is number two. That's a miss. Oh, shit. Good, good, good. And number three. Oh, I rolled a three. That's 12. That's going to miss. And last one. Oh, God. That's so total of 11.
Damn that. That's real good. Good for you. Feeling good. Oh, no, you're up. All right. When Omo sees Zozo. Flare and the horns appear and all like the roiling smoke and power and stuff. Omo immediately throws up like the rock and roll fingers, the horns. Oh, yeah. And he reflexively the guitars, which is hanging on his back. He swings it around his body in a smooth motion, catching the neck of it. And he just starts playing just this this murderous riff. And with that riff, he throws out. First of all, he gives a I'm going to say crib. He gives him bardic inspiration as a bonus action.
Is that a D6 or D8? That is a fantastic question. And I actually meant to look that up and forgot. I think it's a D8 now. I think I can use that on attacks. It's as a bonus action. A creature other than yourself within 60 feet that can hear you gains an inspiration die. One D6 because my bard level is only four. Oh, that's right. Yeah. Got it. For 10 minutes, you can add it to one ability check, attack roll or saving throw. This can be added after seeing the roll. But before it was cool. A rock. Yeah. The other thing that he does instead of going big into it right now.
The Frost salamander that is a little bit further away. Is going to where is it? There it is. Let's see the range on this right here. It does not give me a range. Beautiful. He while he's playing this murderous guitar solo, his lyrics, they don't make any sense to anyone. But for whatever reason, they're vile insults that the guy that's a little bit further away can hear. And he's like maybe his mother's a snail. It translates roughly to whatever he's singing. Yeah, it's pretty brutal. So there's a save, I'm guessing. Yeah. Oh, a wisdom save. Wow. Like that. And I'm shooting for 16.
It looks like, oh, God. Oh, shit. Twenty three. Well, I have great news for that guy. He's fine. OK, that is great news. Oh, that's pretty cool. Yeah, my mom was kind of slow, I guess. Yeah, you know, I mean, like her Crave Crib is up. All right. So Crib's going to run up in between them. Right over there. So kind of equal distance between them. And he's going to call upon the magical armor for the next 10 minutes where he uses an action. He is immune to non magical damage. And he's going to not necessarily do an attack, but just kind of wave his his pike up in the air to attract attention.
And you're doing the Jurassic Park. Exactly. OK, I go over here. Get over here. The Sam Neill. Got it. OK. All right. Shit. Anything else? That's everything he's got. It's pretty good. Let's see this frost, Sally Mandy. Hey, Sally Mandy. It's going to step up. I mean, yeah, so far it's good. Don't do it. Don't do it. This thing's going to open its maw and you're going to see, like, almost this engine of snow and ice churning. And it is going to just unleash this blast of cold. Some some would say a cone of that. And what I need from all of you. This is freezing breath.
There's a chill wind blowing and it's probably smelly. He never brushes his teeth, I'm sure. No, each creature in the area makes a DC 17 Constitution save or they take 8D 10 cold damage. I don't think I'm in that cone. No. Hmm. Can we for cones a little bit? Well, that'll get us ready. Yeah. Hmm. Who do you want to hurt more? Do you feel lucky, punk? You know what? That is right there. High quality. You know what? Go ahead. You're fine. I, I, I, I took my hand off the piece. No, no, no, it doesn't. I think he's in his corner. I would bet he is. It's not more. It's not half of him or more.
I think it has to be half. That's his toes. He's at best. So Clover, can I get a con saving throw, please? That is not Clover's strong suit. Actually, I have resilience. So ha ha ha. I rolled terribly, though. That's what I get. Hey, did you know that that was three times in a row? Six, three times in a row, you're over 16. So for once. So the one who really didn't want to fail failed, sadly. I'm so sorry. So this is doo doo doo doo. Said how many tens? Eight D tens. Oh, yeah. Well, hi, cuz mentor come back. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Oh, OK. That could have been worse.
Yeah. Yeah, I'm OK with that. Yeah, there's there's two and once. Yeah, no, it's there's still thirty five damage. And of course, almost going to take half of that. Cool. So that is a bitter like just a bitter freezing wind. And eventually it's going to subside. And thankfully you're not dead. So, guys, guess what? That's the end of round one, which means we're back at the top. And it's time to reroll. I believe it's only been five minutes. Frost's alamander goes first. I'm dead last. Oh, sorry. There we go. Frost's Amelie goes, OK, so we can get rid of this cone icon and we're going to roll a D6 to see if his thing recharged.
It doesn't. That's good because. Yeah. And here's the thing, I guess we're going to move up here and we're going to try and hit Criv with a bite. And you and I know that that's not going to work. Because it's not magic. Oh, what if I want one? Oh, I could get interesting now. Oh, shit. OK. Good. Oh, we're rolling on the table. OK. What is OK? Oh, this could be this could be the turn of the tide, guys. You might you might need this. OK. All right. And roll into the 20 we get one. Oh, the big money. The head is out. Oh, my God. OK, hold on. We're mask. You hit yourself in the head, causing a minor flash wound for damage, and you are blinded by blood flowing into your eyes for one D four rounds.
I like that. I guess the 20 is OK. It's one he should have rolled. Oh, one. I got it. Got it. Yeah. Yeah. Pretty great. Pretty. It gets pretty shitty. So one D. OK, so four rounds. So that's what was it? One before one day for plus one. Nope, it's just one day for around. So three. OK. So first of all, let's do four big damage. But it is it is blinded. So that's no bueno. Just bounced off. Chris Armour right back in his face and just puffed out my chest and it bounced. Like King K rule. Yeah. So this thing's going to freak out. And let me see on a scale of one to ten. How freaky?
Fairly freaky. So it is going to stagger forward one step, then attack one step, attack one step, attack. So let's just yeah, let's just look at the chat here, because it's all claws from here on out. OK, this one's at Criv. Oh, wait. Sorry. Disadvantage. So 18. Nope. Doesn't matter if it did, I guess. I'm just another one. Oh, yeah, you're right. And here's more with disadvantage. Oh, we're taking the three. So twelve. So it's just kind of blindly attacking the air, just anything, right? Oh, that was a two. I'm getting closer. And this last one's going to be at Mandy.
Rude. But it's with disadvantage. No. OK, so all of those attacks are going to miss all five and it's blind. That's big clover. You got this thing standing right in front of you now. Blinded. It it served itself up on a platter. He is much shivering, just like, huh? And just like and it's here. Oh, so she's going to be like, kind of ducking around it. Do I get advantage here? Yes. Got it. Absolutely do. Yeah. You get advantage on it no matter where you are, because it's blind. Oh, really? Yeah. Yeah. I can't see you to defend. Well, I accept that. Well, I'll go there anyway, because it's like, oh, I see my buddy over there through the two legs.
OK, hi. And she's going to lash out with a punch. She's not happy. She's got frostbite all over her little horns. So she's going to put two additional four points into that. You have to D10s? Holy shit. Apparently. Well, damn. So 16. 16. There you go. Let me knock down my fervor so I remember. And then she's going to lash out with another attack. I'm going to do one for her into this. Yeah. You got a budget those you got to get those points. 15 will hit. OK. Good. Yeah. So damage and then another detail on top of that. Oh, nine and three. So, OK, 12 total. That's not bad.
So you've got it down below half point, half hit points. It's don't worry. There's no there's no it's OK. I'd say if there were one of them. Yeah, it's OK. It's OK. Everyone's butthole tightened real. That's years of conditioning. Right. It's hurting the monster so hard. Oh, you are up. Yes, I am. Oh, Mo, still just shredding away, just positively murdering these strings. Regent reaches into the wells of his magical abilities and as a bonus action, throws a healing word at his cousin. At second level. Oh, thank you. You're welcome. Enjoy this deliciousness that I call rock and roll.
By the way, Jason, I think it's actually supposed to be D8 for my damage. I don't know why it's actually doing details. Table might be wrong. Maybe in the meantime, you get 11 hit points back. Oh, thank you, cousin. This feels feels a little bit warmer. Anything else, sir? He gets big. How big describe your bigness. Well, first he gets a little privacy, you know, does a little light reading. I'm not going to talk about what. Oh, right. Sorry. In India, right. And it's cold, too. So it's extra effort. That's right. It takes a long time. Let's go. So, so you're you're you're doing anime dodges over there.
You've done five attacks and it is now your turn. Balls in your court. Yeah. Well, you got this one all to yourself in that in that demon rage. He doesn't even care for Cribb right in the middle. For all I know, his armor is going to protect him. He got bardic inspiration, though, buddy. You're good. I was going to do if it ain't broke. He's going to cast fireball again. Fireball. You realize you're right in front of it, right? If it's not an attack role. I don't get disadvantage on it. OK. Oh, that's true. I'm over. So you don't care that Cribb's there? No. Oh, that's going to be a big flashback for Cribb.
Oh, yeah. No, he's he doesn't have anything. Tell me your backstory next time. Maybe Zozo will care. No. I do think he's half melted. Let's make it full melted. Damn. Oh, everybody do a decks check. I mean, I'm going to like not do it on Clover if I can, though. Best friend is right. Like he's just tossing it right in front of him. OK. Nine. That one's going to fail. Another save for the second one. Here we go. And oh, 20. That will succeed. So there we go. We have one. Yeah, we reversed at this time. Cribb. Yep. 13. Do you see is 14. Oh, well, Arctic. Yeah, do it. I'll use the party.
OK, so whatever you roll, you're good. So you're taking half this damage, though. So that it's like you cast this. Yeah. Oh, it's fire. Shit. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. My spells are all level a third level. Oh, that's right. Warlock. Sorry. Yeah. So you don't have a choice. So ninety six. Let's go. Roll. Mm hmm. 30. We got we got one, two, one. So thirty two. Jesus. OK. After half. Yeah. They have to have I have to have. So whenever these guys get hit with fire damage, it automatically recharges their freezing breath. Well, I wouldn't be able to tell. Yeah. No, you're. Yeah. I don't know.
Oh, good. Good news. I don't have any spell slots left. Yeah. Better hope it's a short day. But it looks real cool for this, you know, so canonically, it's been 12 seconds. Yeah. OK, Frost's Alimander's turn. Well. Oh, man, let's do. Let's do things. I'm just going to unleash on on Zozo, let's let's start with a bite. Let's just start with it. Good. Jesus, that's unleashing. Well, that's a three. So no. And four claw attacks. Here we go. One. Fifteen. Yes, my AC is seventeen with that brand new armor. Jesus. Oh, my God. That's another three. Third attack. Hit me. 18. You hit me.
Minimal damage. It's going to be half of that, please. Oh, shit. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Damn. All right. Well, okie dokie. Well, Jesus. Bless you, elephant. I can't go far. Oh, I traveled all this way for us. And one more claw attack. 24. That'll hit. OK, so this one is maximum damage. All right. Well, it was the best of times. It was the worst of times. Well, half of that, please. Oh, God damn it. I keep I got to remember that. And Kriv, you're up. All right. So I'm going to do a pokey poke with my pike. Let me go attack. Or is he still blind? Yeah. Three rounds. This hasn't even been one.
Yeah. Well, it looks like a crit to me. Let's see if we're rolling. Hit me with a D6. One D6. We're rolling. Give me big money. Big money. 12 eviscerate. You do two standard critical hits to the target. Give me damage twice, please. Oh, yeah. Oh, good. I like that one. OK, captain. And Jesus, 14 and 13. Nice. Nice. All righty. And then so that was really a huge one. Big just perfect lunch right into the best gooey spot of his underbelly. He's going to so like I see that as like him getting in and then twisting and then pulling out. And then he's going to I messed myself up with that.
What's Chris pullout game like? What is wrong? I mean, just like a couple of kids. Well, maybe it's not. He has literally been burned before. So he has. Yes. So after that, he's going to just raise it up from a big overhead attack and he's going to attack again. Here we go with advantage. Oh, that was almost another crit. Twenty three, though, that's plenty to hit. All right. Nine. Yeah. Anything else? Not that you know you've done enough. Like a smite or something. Yeah. Spit on it again. That's my afterwards, right? Yeah. Where's my my button? I have my button. Can you add a smite button for Ryan?
Yeah, I'll get it. I'll get it. I'll get it. Just Jesus. To the 2D8. We'll add this to the top. Another seven on top of that. It's such a swivel. Dead. It's a big dead salamander. We're going to have dinner tonight. It's going to be really cold, but we're going to have it. We can cook it. We can eat it up. That is the end of round two. Round three. Fight. Crib. Is everybody under ten? We have ten nine nine eight four. Yeah, it wasn't a great day for initiative roles. It's OK. You're doing fine. I do the same thing. The combatants are dead. So. And so Chris is going to move over to the other side to link the other salamander.
And with another smite attack, it's going to go in and attack with advantage. Yeah. It's twenty three. That'll definitely hit. Damage normal plus the 2D8. OK. Fifteen damage total. OK. And then just a non smite attack. It's with advantage. Oh yeah. I forgot about that. So that was a 16. This is a two. We'll take that 16. That'll hit. Sweet. All right. Normal damage. A damage 13. And one more 13. Buddy, you're having a hell of a night. Good day for right. Garner. How are you doing more damage than the guy throwing fireballs? I don't know if it's more like he's a player for performance playoffs.
Yeah. You guys are neck and neck. You're doing a little. Yeah. Yeah. So Jesus Frost. I retire after tonight. Fight me. This thing. He's going to move to the other side so I get out. You get an opportunity attack, baby. OK. Go attack. Do I get it? Yeah. Because if he moved. Yeah. You would have to don't you reduce the speed to zero with your sentinel feet. You hit with a opportunity attack. I do have that. Then yes. Because that's like this. That's like the attack. Look, if you have the feet somewhere. Yeah. Yep. So I won't be able to move when you hit a creature with an opportunity attack.
The creature's speed becomes zero for the rest of the time. Day. And then I get to add the damage. Damn. Jesus. So fuck you. I am just gonna I am just gonna snap. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I can only get two of you. So Crives definitely in this one. I made sure I'm the guy fucking stabbing and stabbing like that again. So Jesus. OK. Oh, you are in there. OK. How dare you? OK. Hold on. How dare you? Yeah, you're in it. You're in it, baby. I did it. The jury is out. Guys, I need a constitution saving throw. We're shooting for 17. Constitution saving throw. Yes. Want my ring or something?
Oh, thank goodness. Made it. Hey, 24 and 16. One shy for you. The paladin thing for saves. It's for spells, right? Yeah. Yeah. That's that extra three at the end of the of the formula. They got to do damage sometime. So they are doing this much. 50 damage. I'm down. Half. So I'm down. Did someone else hear a cash register sound? I did. Oh, that was just a spoon. I thought it was like another like that's because I just bought a one way ticket to pain town. That's why I got bonus dinner and everything so he wouldn't unleash any chaos. I had real thoughts. You had a soundboard for like when you do a lot of damage.
That's my new thing. We can get the sexy music. Yeah. Yeah. I don't I don't think I get to do that still 11 years in or something. I'm just going to start having wacky sound effects. We can't edit that that sound out this time. They got to be able to hear that. Yeah. Oh, yeah. I think people thought we were crazy last time. When did you find it and edited out or did it just not make it into the recording somehow? I don't you know what? I don't remember. I didn't edit anything out. OK, like because I was in the behind the scenes. So it came from the table. So I wasn't in the behind the scenes.
Yeah. So it's right from the table. So we heard it from the table. It wasn't recorded through. Yes. I think people just thought we were insane. OK, good. Cool. I promise we were OK. We heard it. Yes. I mean, Clover, can I get a death saving throw, please? Oh, normal. Oh, that's a big old success. Sixteen. So we're in a spot now where two of you are down. Half of your party is now unconscious. Zozo, you're up. Zozo will unrelent, unrelentingly continue attacking. Yeah, he kind of like he already had the whip in his hand, but now he's going to whip crack it and it's going to catch on fire.
Those black flames are just going to like breathe it entirely and he's just going to like twirl it and then yell black flame lash. And then he's going to cast Green Flame Blade, which requires an attack roll. So I'm just going to attack reversal. I have another whip work when you're adjacent to somebody. It's a melee weapon. Yeah. Like I think it just has ten foot reach. It's like a pole arm. Yeah. Yeah. Just as a longer reach. That's fair. I think a whip still hurts if you're standing within five feet of somebody. You know, the thing where like you roll it a little bit in your hand that's holding the handle and then you get shorter whip.
I don't trust myself with a whip. I'm not a I say you know when, but I have no idea. Yeah. Yes. I didn't like the news. You know, when you're using your home whip guys here. But any statistically, at least a few of you do. With attack. Snorlmer roll at this point. I thought that was a one. 14 is just going to hit. Oh, thank you. OK, so let's do math. Yeah. Well, no, that's easy. No sneak attack because Chris is down. Oh, yeah. But then I do my damage plus the green flame blade. Green flame blade damage, which is fire damage. Sorry for the recharge. Dude, you're fine.
And it is going to be plus one, the eight fire damage. OK. OK. So I can just roll it now. So we see how much fire damage it is. And double it. Six fire damage. So double with deck damage. Situational bonus. That's two from my duelist fighting style and roll damage. Eleven damage. That's a lot of bonuses. Seventeen. Yeah, that's plus three, plus two, plus one, plus two. All right. Honestly, if you made a few of those up, I'd never know. Like, I'm going to take it apart. I'm not going to audit you. Bonus action. Just going to use my second win. Why not? Oh, shit. Why not?
Yes. Survive. Survivability. D10 plus one. Oh, I guess I. OK, so seven. Sorry, I didn't do it through the skills. Plus seven healing for me, please. And that's it for Zozo. All right, Almo, you are up. Here's a chance to finish the fight. Let's see if we can do that. He comes up and he basically will straddle. He's good, but he Chris T backing. I like it. That's right. He he chuckles a little. He has swung his guitar over into his back and pulled out his fancy new magic hammer. And he's going to take a swing. Let's do it. Get advantage. I sure do. Twenty one will do it.
OK. Now, this is almost so let's have some fun. I am going to start off by just rolling the damage. OK. OK. Just that's that's the flat damage right there. Fourteen damage. Fourteen damage. OK. Now he's already big when he's big, he gets to add D6 flat out once per attack. Once per turn. Sorry. So let's roll this extra D6 he takes from being big. One point of damage. Guess what? That one point of damage kills it. Good job. Sorry. I know you had more. You can keep him. Yeah. No, we we can save that extra stuff. We don't know what's next. Let's bury our dead. That's right.
You can just pile up snow on them. That'll be fine. And he uses a healing word on each of them real quick just to get him up from zero. That's that's a lot of XP, guys. That's a lot of extra. As almost kind of like taking care of his friends like a good team member should. Zozo kind of still incapable of controlling the unleashed demon fire energy, still like wailing at the thing that's on the ground until I guess his fuel burns out. Yeah, it doesn't last long. Like you kind of get it a minute at a time. And you know, I mean, like it's not great, but. Those heels are.
Those are good. Thank you. Culver wakes up and just groggy and cold. Thank you, cousin. Gives him a giant hug. Just like, carry me. Yeah, no problem. He prepares to cut open the giant creatures and hide them like tauntauns. But their insides are ice, too. So that wouldn't work. This was a bad idea. Yeah, definitely cold blooded, right? Like they're they're salamanders. So salamanders. Salamanders. So you guys are now out of combat and you can you can see where you need to go from here, but it is still just a tiny bit away enough for me to ask for one more travel die.
Now, here's the thing. You're hours away. You don't just because of the danger of this place, I need I need a D10. But you're almost there. So you've got probably four or four more hours of climbing and you'll be there. What do you guys want to do? Do you want to take a short rest? I suggest we do. Yeah, I was going to cast create bonfire and just hold this concentration on it to create just like a permanent fire on the ground, on the snow. That's our jam. And yeah, we should totally take a short rest. So also with my ring of regeneration, I regain one D6 hit points every 10 minutes.
So short rest is what, an hour? Yeah. Yep. 66 maybe. So it would be six. Yeah, the rest of you guys pop pop hit die until you're satisfied. Do I get further back? Sure. Rest. So half of my expanded. Good. Half of expanded. OK, so six. Good. OK. Good search. Oh, I get all my spell slots back. Yeah. You can also take time to charge, but being in the place you are like, I got to ask for con saves for everyone soon just because of exposure. But like, yeah, this year, you're almost there. How does that work with a big bonfire? Does that kind of cancel out or so while you're while you're sitting here resting, you're fine when you get up to move again.
That it's, you know, every hour I've got to ask you to do that. Like it's the closer you guys get to the peak, the worse it's going to get. OK. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Song of rest. He will absolutely play out a nice little rock ballad on his guitar for everybody. What do we get again? Well, let's look it up. One of the features of Bard is called Song of Rest. And as I scroll down to it very slowly and look at it. You can get an extra one to six hit points. Oh, I'm Chris. I wanted to just add if keen, keen ears listeners picked up on the elemental master feat that goes through fire resistance and that Crave resisted it.
Crave has his paladin order thing that gives him damage resistance to spell damage. So it all works out. Yeah. Yeah. I ended up only taking like eight damage from. Wow. Oh, and if turning into a demon for the rage is an action or bonus action, I fucked that up. Oops. You're fine. It's fine. We're you know, we're we're painting a picture. I am at some point while we're sitting down. Cribs, I guess like it's going to be a little silent. And then at some point, Cribs going to look over at Zozo. Two things. One. Don't cast fireball on me, please. To. The fuck are those wings?
Well, I don't think I had the wings, but the horns for sure. OK, the horn. It's like a little way for those little ways, little vestigial wings. Yeah. Little tiny fire wings like on your shoulder. Yeah. Like Morrigan. No, it's on her head. Never mind. Wait, wait. Can the wings be on his head? That would be so cute. I don't mind it. Only if he also seduces people as a succubus. Yes. That's good. Good. Good. We'll work on that. As he's just like holding his hand, keeping that flame going, he responds to you with just like looking at the fire. Sorry, I got a little carried away.
I won't. I won't aim at you anymore, but you took it like a champ, captain. But I I did what I told you I would do. I did something about that armor and about the power to serve this group better. And boy, oh boy, boy, oh boy, can I do some damage now. I will admit. It came in handy. And he's going to like he has like this. Well, I guess now he can't really he can't really show anything. The kind of like move his head to the side and pull a little bit of the armor off where you can kind of see the fuse scales coming up. And he's going to be like, all of this is because a fireball went wrong.
So just because we we are who we are doesn't mean we're immune to it. I'll control it better next time. I promise. OK. We're ready to go. He's going to be like looking around at everyone. Oh, my God. It's a thumbs up. Clover goes up. Piggyback piggyback piggyback. OK. OK, I'm ready. It's a brutal climate to do a piggyback. It really is. The higher you that's worse. Like I feel honestly, it's not that hard. I have my hands in. Clover clings on really good. Like holds on really good. So I have my hands and feet still pretty free. So it's not really I meant for Clover.
Like, I feel like that's. Oh, yeah. She's catching wind up there. Like it's just terrible. She's fine. She's like, as long as I don't have to walk. Just like, OK, those catches you see with the form and just the wind blown. Well, I need a volunteer. I think I've rolled it. I think our leader is on a hot streak tonight. I can do it. The tens are your thing. The D10. Whatever you want. Don't listen to Mandy, but whatever you want. One D10. Four. Almost right down the middle. On my side, it almost stopped on the one. Like it was like almost backstopped and rolled back to a one and then pivoted over.
Yeah, don't. That's not good. So here's the OK. So. With a four, let's say let's say our estimate was correct. Four hours of you. Heading up thinner and thinner pathways, and you get to the point where you are literally clinging to the side of this mountain to get up there. The peak is in sight. You have it. I need everyone to give me a perception with disadvantage, please. Good doof. Ah, so 12, almost 10, crib six, clover six. OK, well, I saw we dropped the 20 there. I'm sorry. Who are the 20? I think it was Mandy. Oh, yeah. Yeah. OK, so first off. You have been you've been hiking through here for four hours.
I'm only going to ask you. For two Constitution saves each for the exposure. So if you can give me those, please. Really hate to be that guy again, but I have that ring. What's the ring do? They're called resistance. Oh, you're fine, then. Don't don't don't be that guy like that. That's that's that's why you collect those things. Yeah. What do we have to roll again? I think it's ten or higher. Oh, I think it's ten or higher. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Tires. Wow. Shit. OK. All right. So at this point in the adventure. Sorry. Good. I was going to say, like with Olmo and Clover piggybacking, they're probably keeping each other a little warm that way.
That probably helped the two of them. Hey, hold on, let me hit you. So at this point in your journey, you guys have went from travelers just trying to seek knowledge, to doing odd jobs, to going to Uminyaro, to, you know, traveling all the way into the mountains, getting a genie fucking like all kinds of stuff. And now you are finally after what feels like years. You are finally at the mountaintop and you're going to see as you're as you're cresting over the top, you're clawing over and you're picking yourself up. The wind is just torrential like it takes it takes almost everything you have not to fall off.
You're you're you're low to the ground. You can see that staff just planted into the ground between some rocks and you can see the light kind of pulsing out of it. But you are not alone on this mountaintop. There is what appears to be a giant. And this thing is facing away from you. And it's kind of got its legs dangling off the mountain and it's just kind of like peering out into the distance, and it seems to have a really relaxed position, and it's just sort of enjoying the view. But it's it's up here. How would you guys like to handle the situation?
Hey, guys, I speak a little giant. You want me to handle this? All right. Just let me know when you need me. Oh, he'll be our new friend. I hope so. Yeah, that'd be great. I hope he does. I hope he can't grant wishes. I think we're done with that part of the adventure. We've moved on to let's the three of us go up there and Zozo. How will you hold back to be our our ace in the hole? I like how you think. All right. And hide with disadvantage. Just go like plop in the snow. Yeah, it's just like a little porch for myself. Disguise myself as a little snowman. You are absolutely the wrong color, like you.
Is it still nighttime or is it? This is. Yeah, it's it's it's definitely still night. And it's. Yeah. So that it's kind of a roar of borealis kind of thing going on with the staff casting light into the air. And it's just a beautiful sight. I can't say that word without it. Like steamed hams like I can't. I mean, 18 stealth with disadvantage. Just so. Meanwhile, I keep thinking of Zozo like when he flops down into the snow, it's like for whatever reason, even if it's snow angel motions, it still comes up snow devil. It's the tail is always there. Yeah. In visible.
OK. I would. So what are we doing? All right, guys. Here we go. You ready? No. Yes. Do you need a minute? I just don't. OK, let's go. OK. All right. Trust me, this is going to be great. Yeah. And he says in giant. Hey, bro, awesome view you got up here. You want to hear some music? Hi. That's my cousin. This this this thing is going to kind of pivot and like look behind it. It's it's it's got a slow kind of cumbersome lumbering kind of stature to it. But it's it's going to tuck its legs back and stand up. And this thing is huge. And it does not seem to be bothered by the wind and cold colds of never bothered it anyway.
So it's, you know, a princess. You let it go. So, OK, you you're you're basically just it's it's like greetings of the kind of yeah, you know. Yeah. Hey, nice guns, bro. You see, you buff met respect for the strength. Oh, man. The kind of guy who just wear shorts all winter long. It's not even cold, bro. Like that guy. Yeah. I feel like you're starting pretty you know, you're starting pretty nice. I feel like, you know, just kind of puffs out his chest a little bit, like a tiny bit defensive because, you know, you don't get a lot of visitors. No. Oh, what brings you to my mountain?
Oh, it does sound like a little bit here. I'll make it deeper. Oh, some people came up and they put a thing on your mountain right there, and they're really rude people putting that on your mountain like that. And we wanted to bring it back to them because they have to find a different mountain to put it on. That's not my cat this time. It's another one. Yeah. Someone else's cat. So let's see. That's a that's a damn that's a damn persuasive argument. Thank you. Thank you. My glowy stick is my finest possession. You are welcome to look at it, but no touchy touchy.
OK. All right. And he's I assume he's saying that in giant or is he talking in common? It's it's it's giant, you know. OK. And the finger wave, though, that's pretty universal. But and also sassy. And he turns and says to the others and he says, OK, so the staff here, that's just like favorite thing ever. Right. He loves it. This is this is this is a special, special thing. And we are permitted to admire it. But but and he like gestures and and does like the no touch. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. We're not allowed to touch it at all. So ask him why he likes it.
Oh, sure. Almighty, awesome one. What do you like about it so much? So this guy's got long flowing hair, like white, gorgeous, like it's it's it's cutting out from his helmet, like it's never been cut. Just just flowing in the wind. Big mop of it. And now that you're showing an interest in shiny stick like he's going to he's going to talk your ear off about it. You know, love it. Shiny stick came to my mountain many years ago. Make smart. And grant many heads. He's going to part his hair. There are faces coming out of there are many, many faces coming out of the head portion.
It is Cronenbergian, I would say. And almost says, surely, an intelligence as awesome as yours is always just been waiting for you to discover it yourself. Give me persuasion. Yeah. 22, that's that's good. No, we don't want shiny sticks. Good. And he's going to kind of gesture to the sky. You can't you can't deny that. It's like a it's like a Twitch gamer set up in here. It's gorgeous. Did you know that this isn't actually the shiniest mountain in the area, though? You have their attention. Over you've been looking this way. If you turn over here and look this way.
You see that mountain over there lighting up the sky? Sure. That's the that's the shiniest mountain in the area, bro. I bet what over there will make you even smarter and have more faces. Can I get deception, please? Yes. But I would like to say I don't know if I'm wrong or not. And that doesn't matter. I mean, if you're lying, you can't say whatever. That's true. 22. Whose mountain is that? Is that your mountain? As far as I'm aware, no single individual owns that mountain, and it's just they're waiting for one person to stake exclusive claim over it. I don't know if that's true for sure, though, because I haven't been there.
Word is, a lot of guys that if I remember correctly and I don't remember if all know this specifically or not, I've forgotten. But I'm going to assume that it's it's been a bit. I'm going to assume that he knows that the gods are there at least a little bit and say, as I understand it, there are other big guys all kind of hanging around. They're kind of looking at each other, deciding who's going to be the biggest and. Well, you've got the brain and all the faces, so I think it's yours for the taking. Give me one more persuasion check. Yeah. 13. That's something to mull over.
So just kind of like making a big show of like taking two hands, stroking two different chins, just. I will go to that mountain. Oh, you're so brave. I know. Don't touch stick. We'll protect it for you. Yeah. Bye bye. Later. He's literally just going to like wave goodbye and then start climbing down the mountain like just. My friend, that's my bard. Look at you solving problems with talking. So we know we don't know this conversation is not no, this is just the body language. And then also he's just like literally just waves and leaves. I'm going to just do that like wait, head nod slash like just turn awkwardly and look over at Omo.
Wait, he's holding up a finger like just that. That whole weight and as the giant gets further down and he thinks probably out of your shot, the winds are probably too loud. He says to you guys much more quietly and in Draconic, he says, OK, so he thinks that this stick. And he might be right. I don't know. Made him smarter and gave him all the extra faces that are on the side of the head right that he had. You did see those. That wasn't just me, right? Yes. OK. Everyone caught it. Got it. Yeah. So then I told him that there's a mountain over that way. You know, that the mountain that that mountain that just way glowier and told him, hey, I bet you could get even smarter and more power over there.
He thought, yeah, sure. But he told us not to mess with this. So we've got to keep an eye on it for him. Yeah. OK, I'll watch it. Yeah. I should mention, part of the ritual is literally breaking it in half. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So but I like to think that almost lost the plot somewhere and talking to the big guy. So, Chris, what are you like? OK. We got to watch his cats. We're going to stay here. Yeah. Let's get a fire going so we can stay warm. Oh, good call. I'm going to go get the snowman. OK. And Omo breakout his rock and roll flame guitar and use that to keep us warm until a magic fire can be lit for us.
So was those are just lying in wait to leap out and do something. So I was going to go away, but I think mode is going. So I'm going to stay. OK, stick with me for two more minutes. We're wrapping up. Yeah. So what was your question? I was right. I was asking it was also literally just kind of like lying flat, like like a gecko just waiting to like spring up and like trying to think the longer the conversation went, the more like he just shovel snow towards him. Is it like that? Is it like that spider that was putting sand over his head in that one video?
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You get to him. It's just like a Zozo snow like version, a snow version of Zozo with like those eyes through the nose. Oh, we call those. There you go. Just in time for the winter season. Get your official snow. So T-shirts right now. But if we made that design now, we can have it in the shop just in time. I agree. I'm saying I'd get one. Yeah. So cute. And it's got to be a sweater. It can't be a shirt. It has to be a sweater. An ugly sweater for Christmas. I mean, some of us don't like to wear long sleeves, but like we'll get a sweater in there.
We can do it. Or a hoodie. A hoodie. Yeah. Yeah. Hoodie's fine. Yeah. The important thing is we make money. That's right. So go Cribs going to walk over there real quick and just see this image of snow, Zozo. And just shake his head, turn around, come on and start walking back. Not even going to really acknowledge what is happening. All right. Halfheartedly disappointed. Kind of impressed. Flabbergasted all around. I guess it'll just walk forward. So like the front of it will break, but the back of it still stands. Leaving behind a souvenir. Decades from now, someone's going to reach the top of the mountain.
It's like, what the hell happened here? Frost armor. When Crib leaves, can I touch the stick? No. That was what the big guy said was no touchy touchy. She didn't know that. She sees shiny. Oh, wait, was she asking Elmo that or were you asking Jason? No, she's just like, like. Yeah. Are you asking if you have the ability to touch the stick? Yes. You have the ability to, yes. I like the officialness of leaning in. Yes. Like. She touches the stick. Because later on during the trial, I have to ask, it's like, do you remember the minutes of October 25th session? It's like I do recall because I'm going to have to play this back.
So we're touching the stick. She's like, so, so well, I see why he really likes it. Poke. OK, so touching this thing, it's going to jostle just a tiny bit. Like it's going to lean like 12 degrees, something like that. And that energy is going to start to kind of wiggle. Instead of being a straight line into the sky, it's going to start to distort. And that energy field above the mountain is going to start to ripple. And it's almost going to be like a like a thunderstorm above your head. But this faint blue like about like it's like it almost feels as though the sky itself is going to shatter and fall upon the group.
And I think that's a fantastic time for us to stop for the evening. Thanks, Mandy. Good ender. Like really curious. I know it was like a very like specific. What if it moves? See, I'd like to think that Crib and Zozo around the corner. This thing starts happening and they both just start running and screaming clover coming in. It's not going to be. Oh, it's it's like, look, there's no boss fight. Clover was the boss fight all along with the friends we made along the way. That's the. Touching shit without permission was the the foe we needed to defeat. We were trying to tell you this entire time that Mandy and Clover are one in the city and you keep denying it.
Now that they absolutely are. I would never touch it. Never touch and break something. Clover's character arc is just a straight line. Just all the way across. You lived touching stuff and you will die touching stuff. It'll be fine. Hey, Mandy, when we were in that one panel at Dragon Con, I was sitting in front of you. What did you ask me if you could do? Poke me in the back a lot. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Just OK. Yep. OK. You're very pokeable. I have no magical green stick, but I try.
