(dramatic music) - Ooh, let's do that thing where we go on the table and introduce ourselves. I'm Jason, I'm the Dungeon Master going around the table, starting with Xavier. Hello, I'm Xavier and I will be playing Zozo, the dragon born warlock rogue. And Ryan Heywood. - Hey there everybody, I am your friend, Ryan Heywood. And it will be my pleasure to bring to your friend, Omo, the dragon born fighter bard. - And Mandy. - Hi guys, it's Mandy and I play Clover, the red dragon born inter, and that's it. Not fancy like all of the other multi-class. (mumbles) - The arc of multi-class honestly, like people have been, yeah.
And all remaining Ryans. - Hello everyone, my name is Ryan Garner and I play Criv, the dragon born paladin. - That's a tired dad right there. - That was good. - Yup. - That was way more laughter than that discern. (laughing) - Silent laughter still? - Still, no, appreciate it. - Yeah. - All right. - Hats off. - Uh, oh boy. Let's bring it up. - We did a thing. - You did a thing. - We did a thing. - Let's recap because I edited this once before Dragon Con and then again after Dragon Con because the file got corrupted with my blue screens and stuff so I've listened to our previous episode quite a bit.
Now, peace talks dried up pretty quickly. I think we can all agree and they went south and Bausk, the former leader, of Orash was tossed off the side of a cliff. - So almost a leader, right? - Well, here's the thing. Normally something like this would be presided over. Like there'd be, you know, people would be watching but the rest of Orash is freaking out right now because they're being shown a vision of their entire society collapsing and dragons ripping them to sunder and all kinds of stuff like that. So that's still happening. So let's, I don't want to skip a beat.
- Okay. - Bausk gets tossed, right? So it is screaming bounce, bounce, bounce off the side of the mountain, gone, right? Into the mist, into the fog. And this chaos is still being shown to everyone, right? What's the reaction from the group? Because I know that that wasn't what, well, two things. When you started this little quest that wasn't probably how you saw it wrapping up. - No, not quite. - And two, probably not what most of you wanted, right? Maybe one of you, maybe one of you, maybe. But like, is there a sense of like, oh no, like is there weight that comes with this or is it more celebratory?
Is it how, yeah. - If it's still in the moment, yeah. We're still out of breath. We didn't, it was like, we didn't talk about this yet. So I was surprised. He's like, wow, oh my geez. Of all people, well, good job. You really had, he had it coming. You really hated that guy, I guess. Well, he kind of like slaps you on the back. Great job. I don't think anyone saw it. And I don't think we conveyed the message that we're in charge now. - I'm just glad I got him off. He was really heavy. - Boy, you must have hated that guy. - I mean, did you hear what he said about musicians?
- I can't say I specifically remember the musicians part, but I get the vibe. - Yeah. - Well, maybe we should get back to town and get the message across. Kriv, you okay? - Is he still good? - Is he still fine? - Yeah, Kriv is still under the effect of the potion. So there's three things that I want to try to do while I'm still under the effect of this potion. - Okay. - First thing is I want to find something that represents Bausk that's in this area, whether it's a helmet, a crown, a cape. - Was his weapon tossed down the mountain or just- - Yes, it was.
- Okay. - It was the first thing you did. - Yeah. - So we got to find something else. - Throughout his records. - Yeah, so I want to try to find, the goal is that I want to find something quickly that when people see it, they will know that that is Bausk. - Yeah, so this isn't a culture that's big on statues and stuff, but obviously he had a living quarters and it was the largest one here. So burning that down would be a pretty big start. So this vision being shown, are you going to try to stop it or let it play out or- - Yeah, so the second thing that I want to do is go try to get this vision, try to go get this orb.
And I wouldn't necessarily say like, kill it, like just kill the vision, right? I want the orb. - Right, right, right, right. - To kill the vision. - However that is, stop it, knock it off, knock it off. - Exactly, like I look at it, I'm off. - Alexa, off, Charlie. - Just me talking. - Sorry, I just activated 30 Alexas. (laughing) Sorry everybody. - Did I activate my Alexa? - No, okay, it's fine. So I think it would take a couple of seconds, but like it would, that vision would stop. So the skies return to their luster and like this, the city looks like the city instead of everyone's houses burning and all this stuff like that.
And it's going to take several seconds before everyone, people are grabbing weapons and throwing them into the sky and trying to like shoot arrows into the, like, 'cause this just happened. They weren't aware of this. This is big magic, right? So when this stops, there's going to be, like you'll just hear the yelling and screaming from your people. And then slowly that's gonna turn to confusion and then. - So that's where step three comes in. - Yeah, okay. So grabbing whatever I can find that will represent in Balsk, right? Even if it's just a piece of tapestry or something.
- Yeah. - Yeah. - Yeah, he'll grab the piece of tapestry. He's gonna go over it 'cause we're up on like a little bit of a pedestal land mass overlooking the area, right? - Yes, so you're pretty much in the center of the city. Like there's, obviously bridges are spread out and stuff like that, so there's little islands. But Balsk was pretty much in the middle of it all. And yeah, it's kind of a raised platform in the middle with his, but yeah, that's where you guys had this big fight, so. - Okay. So he's gonna walk over. Yeah, he's gonna walk over towards the edge of this cliff where it's overlooking the area.
And while still under the effect of the fire breathing, Progen, he's going to look straight up in the air and release the furthest, widest blast of fire that he can muster to gain, to see if he can get some attention. - Give me, okay, you know what? Give me a performance check with advantage. Normally, it'd be something else, but this is performative. This is like, it's declarative, right? Yeah, that 20, we'll take that. So again, so acoustically, right? The way this place is set up is they'll make announcements from this center island, right? So it rings out, like the sound bounces off and like this, all the skies return to their normal blue and like nothing's on fire.
And then all of a sudden this huge cone, this burst of flame erupts from the center. It's like, whoa. And then it doesn't take long to notice. It's like, hey, that guy's huge and on fire. Like he is, like you are, you know, you are. - Yeah, that's true. I'm like extra fiery right now. - Right, you are super noticeable. Like, yeah. So you got them. You just, again, spotlights on you. You have their attention. - Okay, so he's going to take the tapestry that he has and just like not in a ball or anything as it's still loose, just throw it up in the air out away from him and just kind of let that flutter a little bit for people to start to recognize.
Balska's dead. - Dead, I'm going to hype men him. - Flavor. - We've spoken to Aruthimar and we're executing her will. - Aruthimar's will. - The visions that you saw were a result of her gift to us to show us what our future would be if we don't change our ways. - Omel pulls out his guitar and starts playing a light backing track and gives Krivobark inspiration for whatever you make him roll. - Oh, there will be rolling, obviously. - Oh yeah, there's going to be some rolls. So he's going to get back into it. Aruthimar wants something more for our kind. - Something more.
- Aruthimar wants this to be an empire for all Dragonborns. - A dragon empire. - Where we can all use our skills for the betterment of society. - Society. - This is great. We'll treat all Dragonborns as brothers and sisters as we should. - Yeah. - And we'll end the practice of calling our young because we think they're weak in appearance alone. We'll embrace our history. And we'll embrace who we are. Aruthimar will be here in two days time. Start preparing. And he's going to like take a couple of steps back. - So this is a closing power cord. - So, okay, let's...
Let's do a few things here. Let's start with the fact that you're speaking to an entire city. Now, oh boy, how can I put this? Okay. This is a tough sell, obviously. - It's huge. - Yeah, the entire society has been raised on generation after generation after generation of only the strong survive, you know, comfort is for the weak, blah, blah, blah. So it's like telling someone who's been training for the Olympics all their life. It's like, no more sports. Like it's like, what? - Yeah. - Like, oh, fucking what? - I'm Moses going back to Egypt. Like it's that sort of...
- It's very, it's like, I didn't train for this test. Like I've been doing this other thing. What's to stop me from murdering you? Let's put down on the table. Like, how does that work? Would I be making rules now? Like, you know, do I get a dragon? Like that kind of thing. Like there's a lot of questions taught, you know. Let's start with a persuasion check. Now I'll leave it up to you, whether it's persuasion or intimidation. 'Cause it could go either way. 'Cause... - I think right now his mindset would be more under intimidation. With the visions that just happened, the show of fire.
I think he's trying to show more of a front of, we have to change or we die. - Right. Okay. Then yeah, that was... It's right on the line because of that. But like stopping that and saying it's okay, that was a warning, could be what? You know what I mean? So it could be either way. So yeah, let's go with intimidation. They probably respect that more. - Oh, can I use Bardic? - D6. - Do you cash it in right now? - Yeah, no. It's not used. - That'd be the time to do it probably. - Do you have a-- - D6, right? - Inspiration? - D6. - I think we all got one last time. - I would have used mine if I had one.
- I'm all out of inspiration. - Can I give him my inspiration? - Yeah. - Go uncle! - She's having fun. - That's a six total. Like that's a slow. - So that's just pull again? - Yeah. - Roll again. - All right. - That's a lot better so far. - And better. - I think I'm gonna go ahead and add the-- - Oh, no, it's 13. - Team effort. - Is a 13 'cause you just rolled-- - You rolled a fight. - You rolled an investigation. - Oh, that would explain that. - Investigating the failure of the other one. You're like, why did that work? Yeah, 13. - I throw that D6. - I'm gonna go ahead and roll it.
- I'm sure one of them is to be. - Okay, well that's a total of 14. - Okay. - So I would, okay, I would say let's talk ratios, right? So you're, instead of the entire city going, no, like you're gonna get a lot of people who, whether they would like to admit it or not, are scared shitless that their city could be attacked like that. Like their entire lives. Think about it this way. Like it would be very difficult to attack Uminero because it's fucking thousands of feet in the sky, right? So this is similar, like you'd see someone coming from miles away.
So it would be very difficult to get the jump on them. All of a sudden, everything they've ever built is on fire and they've suffered quite, you know, a couple of devastating losses in recent years. So this is, there's probably a lot of them who are just like, this sounds like you have a plan at least and you said the magic word, Aruthammar is coming, okay. So, what, the dragon's leading us? Okay, I'm not a big fan of inviting other types of dragon born in, but I do like the sound of empire. Like as even the hype man thing, like Xavier punching certain words, it's like, "Ooh, ooh, ooh, I like dragon empire." Society?
Eh, not so much. And it's like, you know, but yeah. The wrong horse. Yeah, but I mean, like, it's like, ah, well, I don't like a lot of the things in here, but like some of this sounds pretty cool. Also, Bausca's dead. And there's just a lot of people who know that they couldn't take his place in terms of sheer intimidation. Now that doesn't mean there isn't gonna be a few guys in the bar who think, I could kill him and this is my chance and yay. You know what I mean? Like, I may not have been able to take Bausc, but I could take him. Like, you know what I mean?
Like judging a book by its cover. Maybe not flame monster you, but it's like, ooh, soon as he's not on fire. Like just... (laughing) It's gonna keep chugging. Right, yeah. Stay in a constant state of fire. It's just Kriv just drinking monster energy for the rest of his life until LaRuthamar gets here. It's like two more days. Like, I'm good. I'm good. Seeing kind of like the mixed responses from the crowds, I was just gonna chime in a bit. Oh, and by the way, Kriv is like completely stepped back from this, like the front of this. So it's a mic drop. Yeah, he mic dropped and if he had a cape, he would have cape switched and walked away.
Oh, damn. All right, Elmo, give me a beat. Give me a beat. Instead of bringing out his guitar, he pulls out his old mall, which has just kind of been sitting on his back and he flips it outside down and he just starts pounding it rhythmically onto the ground. Okay, yeah. Oh, that's good. I like that. Hey, warriors, warriors of Orash, listen up. My name is Zozo and you'd better remember it well. Listen, I know what it feels like to see your people's number dwindle helplessly, seeing your tribe fall into disrepair, oblivion getting forgotten by the people around you.
I know what it is to feel that respect you held slip away from your fingers. You had a dragon, you lost that. All black dragons were killed. We lost everything too. But now we have a chance. The dragons are back. Black dragons are back. Red and black dragons. I haven't traveled much, but I assume blue and white too somewhere. This is our chance to reclaim that respect we lost. We don't need to call the weak kids anymore. Look at me, look at this beautiful body. This is what you could have. And he can like- - He may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks - There it is, yep.
- Doctors hate this man. He sparks like a black flame in his hand. If you just allow yourselves to seek power in unexpected places, you will find yourselves at the top of the most powerful empire on the mainland. The dragons are Ruthimar. The dragon queen is welcoming you in her dominion. Seize that chance for your people. Join us and join all others so that we may stay on top. I said- - Give me, okay, I need a persuasion check as well. It's gonna be a little harder to swallow coming from you 'cause you're not on fire. - True. - But with me, but you're black.
Like it's a thing. Like, you know, it's look, it's ingrained in their society. They need a change. I agree, but like, you know, someone's gotta be the first. - With me giving them the active hammer, backup, could that be the assistant, the advantage with the assistance wards? - Obviously seven teams could. - Or maybe he's fine. - I'll take the Bardic Inspiration. I'll take- - I'd give a plus two to the roll for like the rhythmic drop but like, I'll take it. I'll take a 19. Like that's good. - 19 total. - I think, okay. In societies, if you look back at history, right?
You have empires that rose to power doing a certain thing. And you can look at, you could look at commerce, you could look at businesses, you can look at podcasts, you can look at whatever. They get to a certain size doing a certain thing and they just stick with what got them to the dance, right? They just stay, let's just keep doing that. And then eventually it doesn't work anymore. And everyone has a breaking point where you try and you fall down, you try and you fall down. And these guys have been pushed to the break. And Valsk even sent you out as it's like, okay, look, this is a Hail Mary.
- We're the Hail Mary. - Right, exactly. So it's like, okay, if you guys come back with a dragon and we can control it, that's the tide turner. But like something had to change. So even he admitted that like magic had to be used, but like normally this two, three years ago, this speech would have fallen on deaf ears and they would probably kill you. But like, it's like, all right, well, I think some of the, like by virtue of their numbers, some people have to be smaller than the biggest people. So they're looking around, it's like, I'm not super strong, but I'm fast.
Like I could do, like, I think it's like, okay, well, maybe bringing in some new blood would be good. We'd have more numbers. Like there's probably a few people in the crowd at this point that are like, oh, okay, well, I'm not super fond of it, but it would be nice to win for a change. Like it would be nice to like take something back and be, for lack of a better term, feared, respected again. Like there's definitely more chatter. You're gonna like, obviously it's stark silence and then like probably uproar and you're gonna hear a lot more chatter. There are people making their way across the bridges to the center Island, some rather large individuals, some curious people, some, you know, like it's probably, there's a lot of questions.
So you're probably gonna be at the center of a very impromptu town hall meeting for lack of a better term. There's, it's like, I have some questions about policy. Like there's going to be, what's your fix for this? That's all I think. - A Ruthamar, yeah. - A wizard did it. Like it's, does Clover have anything to say while... - I mean, not really. Most of the time she's, while they're talking, first she was like, are we in trouble? 'Cause you know, he was the leader and he would always get me in trouble because he'd yell at me and now we hit him and through him, we're in trouble.
And so that's in her head. And then they're talking fire crib. And he's like, then after that, he's like, I'm gonna go to the fire crib. And then after that kind of goes, pew, the way of ADHD and just like, where's mom? Where's mama? And just, mama? Go get all the people here. And she's mostly looking. - Give me perception. - Finally get to see mama. - Oh shit. - Auntie. - I love that you have a plus one for perception and then a negative two. - Why do I have a, oh. Wait, why do I have a negative two? - I have no idea. I mean, I believe it. - It could be from anything.
- Did you have a level of exhaustion from something? - I do have a level of exhaustion. - That's right. Yeah, I didn't know if it was the ADHD. I didn't, it's like, I get a negative two at least twice a day. - Oh yeah, that's your charm that you lost, I think, no? - No, I got, she has her new things. So that's, no, it's exhaustion. - So. - I think she still has 17. (laughs) - It's, so you are going to see her like pretty good distance away. It's across the bridge, but like you being on a raised platform does help. So. - It's after. - So okay, no, go ahead, please, please, please, yeah.
- Oh yeah, then as soon as she sees them, she sees her, pew, she's gone. Towards mama. - Okay. Okay, it's pretty safe to split the party right now. I don't think there's any danger, but like, let's, let's. Am I? - Famous ass words. - Yeah, like, am I safe to assume, is Olmo going with her or staying with team town meeting? - Well, I imagine he would look at you guys real quick and say, oh, you guys got this? - Yeah, do you get a nod from Kriv? - And he starts lumbering off after. - And even, I think Kriv at this point, he's kind of like craning his head to just keep an eye on her, at least know where she is if he can.
- Clover, wait up. - Yeah, there's a lot of traffic on the bridge, so it's like, excuse me, excuse me, pardon me, excuse me. Like they're super wide, but at the same time, so are a lot of the dragonborn, so. - But she's skinny, so she, mew. - I imagine the dragonborn are like every Walmart shopper who doesn't understand that there are two lanes of traffic and every aisle. - I hate that. - It's so fucking easy, but people are fucking dumb. So like everyone in the call knew exactly what I meant. - Oh, I hate that. - It's exclusive to Walmart, any other fucking town or store or whatever, I feel like they're a little better about it, but.
- Walmart is better. - But probably Walmart. - Yeah, anywho. You are going to get pretty quickly surrounded here in the center and people, they're kind of shouting and they're, it ranges from angry and irate to borderline fear, like, what do you mean? Like she's coming, what does that mean? Like what, so a hundred questions are going to be shouted at you in no particular order at different volumes, all demanding answers right this minute, right? - All right, you take this one, boss. - Kriv would step up and like, what's the, he's going to listen out for like the first question that kind of catches, that's clear enough for him to understand what they're asking for.
What would that question be? - I think because it was probably larger individuals who headed first, it's like, okay, like, you know, I'm going to go to probably something along the lines of where the fuck do you get off? Like, you know what I mean? Who are you? Like why, you know, that type of thing. And anybody who recognizes Kriv, it's like, you're a fucking burnout, like you're literally, like, you know, like you're like, I'm not taking orders from you, that type of thing. There's a few guys still wearing their Letterman jacket, like yelling, you know.
That's the minority though. Like I'd say one out of every like 10. - What would be, other than that, is it more about the confusion of- - Ruthamar would be the next question. - What do you mean two days? - Yeah, you said two days. It's like, what the fuck does that mean? That's a countdown, what you just gave us. That didn't sound like, the way it was phrased, it didn't sound like, oh, rejoice. Like it's like, you had two days to get your shit together, like clean your rooms. Like it's very, like it came off as that. - Yeah, so Kriv's gonna step up and just kind of looking over the crowd.
And as he hears, he's gonna try to ignore the bros that are just in the group, just trying to stir up trouble or defend their old way of life. And he's going to address more about the Ruthamar. When we met with Ruthamar, Ruthamar gave us this orb to deliver. This orb was to show you what is gonna happen in two days time when the Ruthamar comes in, if we don't meet her demands. And her demands are pretty simple, twofold. The first one is that we stop calling our young. We are a diminishing group, but yet we are killing ourselves. We cannot afford to do that.
And the second is that we finally accept our blood and group all Dragonborns here. We all work together to build a bigger empire and be an empire because we've never been there before. - Does Oso add anything to this? - Probably. The dragons have also been called by the peoples of this land throughout history to a point where almost none were left. Ruthamar seeks a place for what remains and seeks to restore her brood and her kin. And she welcomes us and invites us to do the same. To accept this invitation is to save all our people. - And when we came delivering this orb and this message, we know it's a shock because it is a big change in the way we live.
But at the end of the day, this is what Ruthamar wants. When we came in letting a Balsk know about that, Balsk only wanted to control a Ruthamar for himself instead of letting the mother lead. - Give me a persuasion check. - With a plus two for Zozo Shaiman and... - Yep. One of these days. - 13, that's not... So here's... Speaking for an entire collective is difficult because, you know, but it's probably the easiest out of anywhere on the map because these guys are so galvanized in their, you know, in their way of thinking. However, it probably goes a little something like this.
Well, look, I mean, it's a black dragon. It doesn't represent us necessarily. However, it would have been nice to have a loaded cannon, you know, aimed at whoever disagreed with us. So having it under our control probably would have been nice, but there's probably a much larger contingent that it's like, ah, that doesn't sound great to enslave one of the last remaining like ancient dragons. It's like, that's... That feels icky. Like, you know what I mean? Like we're supposed to respect strength and we're supposed to use magic to control. It's like, if that's true, I don't like it.
Like, it's not great. There's probably a lot of, and then of course there are, I'd say you could probably keep it under like 15 people who are pretty much like, I'd like to challenge you now, please. Like it's, you know what I mean? Like there's that, but they're kind of getting shouted down from like, it's like, hold on a second, hold on, hold on. Let's go back to this dragon thing. So you're saying there is a completely free from control sentient dragon coming here and they have demands and you spoke with her? Like that's the thread most of this society is focused on now that it's like, wait, wait, wait, wait, this isn't hypothetical.
Like you talked to her. So there's a lot of questions, essentially it's like, okay, wait, wait, wait, how did you talk to her? What else did she say? What's gonna happen when? And then, you know, like what's your five-year plan? Like, what's up? Like what do we do? Like, shh. So as far as evidence, all I can bring is the orb that she gave us. It's a pretty good start. If you wanna see it again, we can activate it and you can look out and see a Ruthmar attacking our town. No, thank you. So whether we like it or not, a Ruthmar is coming and as a clan, we have a decision to make.
Do we make that vision come true and fight a free Ruthmar? Or do we line up with her will and make an empire? Give me one more persuasion check. Okay. Oh, look at you. Okay, we did it. There we go. Hey, there it goes. 21, okay. I think for the first time, the way this has gone, like that's a pretty big chunk of proof. It's like, hey, like that's, you know, is there a possibility that somehow you're a powerful sorcerer that has come here to deceive them and everything? But the fact that you're from this community, they know you, they may not like you or respect you all, like, you know, but like, it's like, nah, nah, he's from the neighborhood, I know him.
Like, you know, like that does help a lot. Two, you haven't been gone that long. It's been weeks. Like, it's not like enough could have happened to you in their eyes that would change you so dramatically that like a lot has, right? But like you were on the fence about this whole thing when you left, like, it's like, yeah, I guess, guys, I don't know, man. I think we're fucking up. All right. You know, and the other thing is people are are probably going to lose the support that they would normally get from challenging you. I think a lot of them, there may be one or two standouts that's like, oh, I don't know, man, Greg's Greg's pretty cool.
Like, I know Greg, like he's got some good ideas, but like you're coming in with a plan. You say you have a dragon. So like you're like at the very least, there's a two day leniency. If no dragon shows up in two days, you're fucked. But, you know, yeah, it's like, OK, that's not like. Right. It's like, oh, in 200 years, the prophecy, it's like, no, man. 48 hours, guys like to talk. Let's sweep up. Let's, you know, you know, so like I think a lot of people are are like a little like I think it ranges from like, oh, shit, like they're coming like it's excitement slash anticipation slash fear, a little fear being like 20 percent.
The excitement anticipation. It's like you're saying you keep using the word empire. So. Like. I kind of agree we've been fucked over, but like humans have hunted our ancestors and progeny for for like we lost a bunch of our people to essentially a human slash other races war that didn't affect us. We were recruited. And we we really got a shitty end to that deal. And yeah, no, fuck those guys. I agree. Like I don't like other Dragonborn races. But at least they're dragons, right? Like even so. So it's like, yeah, even even the guy with the big clock hanging around his neck, like your hype man there, at least he's a dragon.
Like, you know, he's one of us. Yeah. Well, I get to push him around. I'm working on it. Yeah. It's it's it's it's it's, you know, first step, baby steps. Good. Good. We took a step, at least. Yeah, this is like I think you're kind of getting like it's like, no, no, no, you're right. OK, hold on. Hold on. OK. So like expansion and and and reclamation and all this stuff, there's there's probably a lot of, you know, there's a lot of hype to it. But let's sip on over to Clover and Olmo. So again, people are funneling in and so your mom is at the end of this bridge here, right?
And she's not trying to get across. It's more like you stick out. You are smaller. But in a sea of leathers and and charcoal garb, you are a multicolored pastel rainbow of you know what I mean? Like you it. Yeah. She's probably so excited. There are little sparks going out of her ears. Just pew pew pew pew. Yeah, you literally glow. Yeah. Right. Yeah. So especially like halfway across the bridge, you're going to see her like kind of like like try to like stand up above people and like she is again, it's only been weeks, but like, what did you do? I think is part like there's there's equal parts.
I'm so happy to see you. What just happened? Because like she's getting like she's very excited to see you. And that's her main focus. And then like this being like the big talk, it's like, oh, OK. Like it's it's there's a there's a big moment happening right here. You can kind of feel it. And she's going to wrap you right up as soon as you like get across the bridge. And I thought the way you describe she's a little bigger than you like. Yeah, she's a normal, sturdy dragonborn. And yeah, and just happened to have a little tiny baby. And so Clover is just like like practically vibrating in her just like, oh, my mom, I missed you so much.
I know you told me to stay there, but almost got me an uncle and uncle. So we went on a journey. So I I thought it was OK, but I'm here now. I missed you. So, OK, being a dragonborn mom has got to be a bit difficult, right? Because I think what a lot of listeners have always equated that this Dragonborn Society to is like the 300 movie, right? Very Spartan, you know, as depicted by Zack Snyder. Right. Everything's in slow motion and gray all the time. So they didn't really focus so much on what it would be like to be a mother in that society. But like it's a little more shades of gray than that.
So obviously she never wanted you to get kicked out for this or killed. You would have been killed. So like, obviously, they never wanted that. So it's it's it's equal parts like protection. It's like what you you could have died, that type of thing. But also something clearly huge is happening and just very excited to see you and just happy you're not dead. Right. So she would probably have to hold back from squeezing you too hard. Like, you know, because she's a muscle mommy, you know, like. Nice. I mean, I mean, a little bit home. Oh, God, what with pizza.
So almost close behind. Sorry, you were talking about Spartan moms, and so I was trying to type up real quick the only thing that story I could think of that had to do with Spartan moms. But anyway, Elmo, of course, is trying to get caught up, but he doesn't have that nimble squeeze between people that Clover does. So eventually he kind of he doesn't get big because the bridges are only so large and there's still all these people on it. And but he does kind of do like that, stand up as tall as he can, let his shoulders get out as broad as he can and just kind of like try to look as imposing as he can so that people try to move out of his way.
Do a little bit of everybody move kind of a you just described me trying to follow Brie at Dragon Con. Brie is life and like zipping in between, especially the vendors, so it's like, like if we lived in a society where big people could shove you people out of the way. Oh, but it's not. You're right there. Do you need a minute? No, I'm fine. It's OK. It's fine. I was born too late, but also not because I don't want to hurt anybody. So I just I think I'm just big like so. She would. OK, so she's probably got Clover wrapped up and then sees you coming across the bridge and like, like still has Clover and holds a handout for you, like just like, get in here.
Oh, OK. Here I am. Here I am. I missed you. OK. Oh, big hugs. Yes. You can be squished between two giant dragons. Just so happy. Oh, we haven't got to make a clover sandwich in such a long time. This is great. Just the first thing I'd ever know. What happened? Oh, OK. Oh, no, no. Yeah. OK, so we we were sent down and we were told to get Clover because we were sent on a super secret mission to to recruit the dragon, Ruthmar. Right. And so we went down and got Clover and a goat named Roger. And Roger was Roger was really great for a long time. And then, well, then he hung out with us.
And then we left that town and we accidentally found a secret dragon cave that had a different dragon in it. And so we we helped that dragon get out because, hey, who's trapping dragons and cave? That's rude. And when that collapsed all over us, that was uncomfortable. And then we got out of there. But not before Roger turned giant evil and we had to kill him. But I got his microphone hammer, which I haven't used yet. I should hold on a second. He taps it and goes, just say. That was weird anyway. So then we left and we because of a genie that I got who was my friend.
Yeah, Costco. Yeah. I miss Costco. I miss him, too. He gave me this finger after my finger got chopped off and magically. And that was sad. Oh, I have like a cool like like metal finger now. Anyway. Oh, oh, I forgot about our friend from Brightport. Anyway, she's not that important. We fixed her way to. Oh, she gave me this coin. We have so many friends. We made a lot of friends. So many times in the head. Yeah, just a lot. Yeah. But anyway, we convinced a three faced giant to leave alone the magic staff that was trapping a Ruth Ammar. And at which point in time, we broke it.
And it almost turned Crib into a giant mutant. But well, it did a little bit. But we then we then we beat him up until he wasn't anymore. And oops. Then we. Yeah. And then on our way to Ruth Ammar, just to be like, hey, we cool because we freed you. We cool. And on our way to that, there was this crazy little dude that killed musicians and tried to blow us up. But we blew him up better. And then we went to Ruth Ammar and she had all of her lava babies who were like, so cute, mama. One perched on my head, shoulder. And wow, it hurt a lot. But they were so cute.
That one really liked you a lot. Yeah. I hope I get to see them again. Do you think she'll let me have one as a friend? I'm pretty sure she's not about people letting people have her babies like property, but it's property. It's friends. Yeah. Oh, yeah. I'm sure that that she has no problem with her babies being friends with us. Yeah. She's nice. She had really big pillows. Mom, can I get the pillows? Just like in front of her chest going, oh, you know, you know how like the mammalian two foot people who don't have scales, they have those like big puffy parts of their chest that just kind of are really squishy like that.
Ruth Ammar turned into like by a two legged form instead of being full dragon side and had some of those. It was wild. Just like Zozo's magic hand finder thing. Oh, yeah. His girlfriend. I think his girlfriend got taken by. She did. Yeah. Ruth Ammar was like, that is so offensive. Anyway, about that. Yeah. But we were able to talk to you. It was so weird. So weird. But we were we were able to talk to Ruth Ammar because we met some of the new gods and they were like, yeah, we can make it so that that won't make your head explode. And we said, thank you. So now we can talk to at least a couple.
Yeah. Huh? OK. I don't remember. Oh, you remember the barbecue? Oh, meat guy. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, he was. Oh, OK, cool. Yeah. I think there might have been one more, but I can't remember right now. Or was there two more? There's two more. Looking back, this is such a wild story. This is our clip show episode. So there's going to be. Oh, and then she breathed us through the air and we flew all the way home almost. Yeah. Yeah, that was really fun. I want to do that again. Don't forget the fiery comets that charge directly at us. I don't remember that. There's going to be a bee.
It's going to be just a long, long be here. I I'm more meant that Balski's dead. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Uncle had an argument with him and then we had the they we got in a fight and it was really hurt. It will hurt a lot, but then almost had to throw him off the mountain. And are we in trouble for that? That's probably bad. But also, he was not very nice. He said mean things. I don't know how to feel about that, Mama. OK, there's a lot to take in, obviously. And kind of look at all. Mo, you haven't been gone a month. We've been real busy. Oh, yeah. It's been fun, Mama, except when I get hit in the head a lot by rocks and lots of rocks, actually, just so many rocks to fit.
Oh, look, we've been so busy that I've got a lot of exercise. My stomach is a little less squishy than it was when I left. Look, I'm yeah, he's been running a lot. There's one time stuff went in my head that I I knew about how to do. Actually, I know medicine now, Ma. It's like I know that this and pulls out a random herb. It cures things. Do you want some? OK, hold on, hold on, hold on. OK, I'm very excited for you. Let's get you both indoors in case someone's looking for you. Oh, yeah. Uncle might be looking for us. OK, you should go see uncle because we haven't seen him in a long time.
I think until we get indoors, we should play the quiet game. OK, I'm good at this game. You're the best because there could be people looking for you. I just need to make sure that I want you to just go into my house and wait there and I'm going to go see what's happening. And then I'm going to come join you. And I don't want you to talk to anyone until you're in the house. And then don't talk to anyone in the house. OK, OK. I love you, mom. And it kisses her on the cheek and rise. Now, if you can tell, just probably doesn't get out the full. I love you, but just go on like this.
Yeah. You can tell she's had the hats explain this in such a way. It's like, don't tell anybody. And it's like and then, of course, Clover would yell out the window. And I have to make sure. Yeah. This woman has to be made of patience, right? Like just there. There's this is not her first rodeo. What essentially is happening is Clover's mom owns a husky. I want to ask you. Yes. Yes. What do you mean? No, that's great. Yeah, that's amazing. Amazing. They are. They are. They are. They are a commitment. I every time I tell a cast member, it's like, I don't know. I have kids.
And then I got that dog breed. There is no pain in the ass wise. There's no difference. None. None difference like this. That's fair. I owe my mom more flowers. I'll go. I'll go with Clover. Do you have it? Do you have anything I can grab to eat in there? Yeah, there's there's plenty to eat. Whatever you like. Just just just OK. Just relax. You've been through a lot. And she's going to like she's going to where everyone else is to start getting the download from. It's like, OK, I got information, lots of it, none of it helpful. So I'm going to go to like smaller amounts of information that are more relevant right now.
Hey cousin, we get to go into the snack cabinet. Yes, mom has the best snacks. And she's cheering very loudly. And then she's like, oh, I'm quiet. Snap time. And Elmo goes into the door and closes it behind them. I thought a lot about how your group's particular story would end. And I've had months to think about it now. And I thought, I mean, should it end with Aruthimar's Arrival? Should it end with expansion? Should it end with? But what I think we're going to do is I'm going to ask the group a series of questions, and that's how we're going to move forward.
And we're going to paint. We're probably going to wrap your story up for the arc, but we're going to take what you decide now and use that to color in the future. So here's OK. You've done what some would deem impossible in Dragonborn society, right? Like the the Aruthimar thing, I'm sure when it's like, hey, tell everybody I'm coming. That's like you. You handled it is what we can say. Right. Like could have been smoother. Fine. But the fact that the city didn't tear you apart is a big old feather in your caps. So two days are going to go by. And I oh, my God, dude, there's this entire time, by the way, leading up to these two days, Crib's heart is going as fast as it can.
Oh, shit. What if she changed her mind? He is not sleeping. There is so much anxiety. What if time is different for her? What if what? Don't bring that in, Jason. Right. We didn't get a high. She didn't say like three p.m. So like Dragon Days. Right. It's like after 48 hours, people are like looking. It's like so like just, you know, it's it's going to get like. But if if anything, in those two days, Zozo would have like been. You got any problem with Crib? I'll show you. Like, I'll teach you respect for Crib. I'll give you wait, wait, wait in line. And I picture he got into a few fights.
Did he win or lose? I don't know. He got a few fights. Yeah, I guess depends on with who and. Yeah. But I think there'd be OK. I'm not a religious guy, but I know plenty of people who are and I know people who kind of float in between. They're like, just in case. That hell play sounds pretty bad. I don't want any part of it. So like if a giant ancient black dragon is coming, I probably don't want to beat up the only other black dragon born in the city. You know, it's like let's give it two days to see. But yeah, yeah. Someone's getting an ass beating, if not like, you know.
But like there's probably it's like, oh, OK. Everyone checks their watches like, you know. So she is going to arrive. And that's going to be the catalyst for so much. There's so OK. First of all, Aruthua is going to land right in the center of the city. Right. And then be able to change forms into that, that that darker humanoid silhouette. There's a lot going on. They've no dragonborn has ever run into a dragon that has been able to directly speak to them. Right. Like really like like on like this level. There is an insane amount of magic power, and anyone who challenges her would either get shown very quickly.
It's like, yeah, I'm not here to fuck around. Like, this isn't about me convincing you. This is I'm just telling you how things are going to be. We are all on the same team, all dragonborn. We have been mistreated. We have we I know Arutham are herself. It's like, hey, I've known dragons who have had a policy of live and let live. I have known some who have been vicious attackers, some that have been in hiding. None of that works. We need to do something different. And the only way we're going to be able to protect each other is to live in the same place, share the same culture.
So that's happening to a certain degree. Now, individual policy is going to be something she's going to turn to this group for, because you are the ones who freed her. You're the ones like you guys. You're in on the ground floor. So essentially, you're her cabinet. Like she's going to you know, there will be other voices to come. Like they're like she has people who represent red dragonborn and one who represents black. But like as other dragonborn get here slowly over the years, like this is going to be a beacon, you know, but I think I'm going to ask you guys a series of questions, and this is where we're going to leave things off and it's going to color things.
OK, one. Who do you reach out to first? What other dragonborn? Huh? Well. Are there which ones would we know more about? Well, some of your best friends are black dragonborn. Yeah, so yeah, OK. Yes, I was I was I was counting the black dragonborn already as like part of the right initial group. Yeah, they don't know. Like you got to tell. OK, yeah. Black dragonborn for sure. So then, yeah, black dragon. OK. And then I would guess either the. White or blue, depending on this is super meta, but like we've never seen the blue dragonborn, so I want to see that. We know what the way that about.
We don't want the whites too fast, you know, I got to fuck things up for us. They can do that. No, it's just it's just. Oh, OK. We're like, if we get to do one, we get to do black jokes. We get to white jokes on every corner and stuff. You just got to you got to get, you know, it's got to, you know, that's. And canceled. OK, so I'm going to steal your food and say it was theirs. Except it'll be way more bland now. Yeah, yeah. This dragonborn breeds mayonnaise. Let's see the spicy stuff. You hear that, like I can hear the Patreon draining. It's really cool. Yeah, I know.
Yeah, OK. So, OK, this is a continental journey. This is going to take you like and this can be expedited, but this is going to you're you're essentially. You're on a pilgrimage, you're on a mission from GAD kind of thing. Like you are, you know, you're you're spreading the good word. Have you heard the word word of a Ruth Ammar type of thing? I OK. How is punishment handled in this society? Because Ruth Ammar is very quick to just it. Like, I don't want to punish anybody, but I'm not here to argue with you. I'm not here to please you. This is happening. I want you to be better.
I want you know. But this petty squabbling over who's the leader, that's over. You had that. That's not working. And yeah, us killing each other. So like, how is, let's say, you know, petty crime. How is that handled? How is you know how how are like racially charged arguments and fights and deaths? Because there will be some there absolutely will be some. There's there's a moment where Omo tries to convince everybody that the system of like any judging for any judge of any crimes would actually be judging the the defense and the prosecution would actually be different bands and it would be a battle of the bands method.
And I suspect that nobody goes along with that. And he's a little bit dejected after that. And then he stops and says, Well, wait, what do we do with people normally when? But I never got in that much trouble, honestly. What do we normally do with people? I know there's exile and there's throwing them off the cliff. And which is ultra exile. Super. Well, I mean, not really. They can't stay in town in a way. Yeah. Exile X. I so I I mean, crime within Dragonborn culture isn't so much a thing because anyone can challenge anyone for anything, right? But there's also more trust, maybe not respect, but trust in.
You know, I mean, people grow up with each other their whole lives. Dragonborn life spans are a little shorter and like, you know, like I think. But when Blue Dragonborn move in, White Dragonborn move in and stuff like there's going to be it's like, I don't know you. I don't trust you. You have a completely different culture. You eat different food. You come from a different climate. You have like I don't you know, I have nothing in common with you. So beyond genealogy, like it's like, yeah, yeah, yeah. Both Dragonborn. That's fine. But, you know, there's going to be arguments over the the dragons that predate the Dragonborn, right?
Blue Dragons couldn't stand up to. There's going to be a lot of schoolyard bullshit, right? How will that be handled? Like what? You know, like first offense, second offense, that type of thing. Like is this culture where you kill those who just cannot go along? Because I imagine this culture being where it's starting from. There's going to be a long period of kids will be kids, at least at first, probably. Well, we that's probably a bump in the road that we're going to have to get past before we figure out something better. Oh, they're just rough housing.
Yeah, I pictured it that unless they do something extremely offensive. Right. And really does a bunch of stuff. I don't think we're killing anyone. Yeah. If anything happens, it's extreme. They're they're just no matter what we do, they don't match. Let's say. Yeah. Right. Then it's it's exile at that point. Or what if any like more egregious crimes? They kind of get sent to the border. Kind of. All right. You don't get to live that close to everybody else. Now you've got to basically stand guard near the borders. Mm hmm. Yeah. So this is all to say that a Ruthamore's obviously going to have her own like her own way.
Like there may be crimes where it's like I'm telling you, you could be top of the food chain and you can't get over the fact that this one's a different color or different body type or comes from. You know what I mean? Like it like I mean, it might just she might evaporate them like I don't. You know, it depends. But like it's very nuanced, like, you know, it would have to be certain. If anything, yeah, there could. It's a two tier justice system where it's like kids will be kids. We're all this together. You know, let's focus on working things out, giving providing kind of like help to help people, you know, give them give them the tools to change their ways to accommodate this new society.
We have people from four different cultures. They all get to sit in the council. They all have their ways to deal with these issues separately. We kind of get get a council like big jury, very like a spread out mentality. And that's for like petty crimes, lower crimes, you know, like getting along. Anything that's unresolvable. It's just like instant evaporation from dragon fire. And like they serve as an example. And I was like, sorry, you the council couldn't come come to a point. This is still like a dragon empire. You got to stand up, step along. Yeah.
And I was also suggesting to me, I again, I think because you also OK, we're looking at it very much from a red dragonborn stand. Standpoint, but like the white dragonborn is super chill. The blue dragonborn have a completely different. We haven't met them yet on the show. They might be even more hardcore, like, you know. And if Zozo is anything to go by, imagine an entire and an entire squad of edgelords that are like, I can't either confirm nor deny that. But I mean, like picture that like it's like you know, there's I mean, there's a lot to. OK, OK, so we've OK.
What about defense? What about those that attack you? Because that will happen to let's say that the society kicks off and let's say a Laura sees dragonborn coming from all around the world to swarm to Orash, which means by default, Orash's borders expand. Mm hmm. There are going to be people. Let's take the orcs, for example, that would take that as a direct declaration of war. It's like, oh, you're planning to attack us. There wouldn't there would probably be at least a brute goal. So how do you how would you see your new empire dealing with that? Well, I don't picture it as like we're going to go out and is I think it's twofold, right?
In some areas, we're going to bargain. We're going to try to resolve it. And if it's not, for the most part, I think it's ours. Right. I think that's just kind of manifest destiny. Exactly right. We're going to go in and manifest it. Now, our goal obviously is whether it's bartering, whether it's deals, whatever that's going to be. Right. And I also think that we don't necessarily just want to go and obliterate people. Right. If we can get allies of of other kinds. Great. Right. As long as we can work cohesively. That's the way that Crib would be pushing it. There's there's going to be a lot of need to bring all these people over from overseas, and we only have the one dragon to carry people.
That's not enough. We're going to need boats. So there's probably going to be talking to Rutham are about can we get some money to hire boats from some allies that we have in Brightport that we are on good terms with and maybe working on using that to kind of a kind of a cash diplomacy with once the one family of Brightport that's fairly well off is helping out. Others might want to get involved. And all of a sudden, yes, we have an empire, but there's a healthy, friendly trade agreement potentially with one of our closest neighbors. Yeah, that's great.
Actually, I love that for for a fact like you were talking about conflict like at the start of it. Yeah. But I think we especially if we're her cabinet, as you said, the four of us specifically like comes to us and kind of bypasses a lot of other Dragonborn. But like we can't resolve these things the way the red Dragonborn used to, which is just attacking and waging war. Incineration. Yeah. Yeah. So I think we all know and agree that like diplomacy is the first step. But like there's a council of a cabinet of four here and we have the diplomats in Cribb.
There's the celebrity, the entertainer, the kind of like there's probably a good term for for what Olmo brings to the table. And like in terms of like influencer influencer. Yes. Yes. You have the I was I was going to say Jester, but sure. Influencer. I was thinking of that. So like different approaches, we have like the beacon of joy in Clover, kind of just like basically four different approaches. And then there's like the grim reaper, the champion of Aruthimar when things need to get done, you know, like political assassinations. Call me. And again, this is to start.
Like they're going to be more and more voices. And eventually you'll have like a Roman kind of like, let's say if we just had four representatives from each society, that's already, you know, 16. Right. And then, yeah, it like. This is all to start, and it's just I'm trying to get vibes, basically, like. So I what I'm sensing mostly is, yeah, we're going to try it the nice way. However, like, you know. Yeah. OK. Yeah. Mandy, do you have any closing thoughts on the defense and stuff or no, no, no, no, no, no. I mean, I'm I want to go around and talk about what you want for Clover, like what you what you want for your characters in the coming days, slash months.
And yeah. OK, so. Clover is going to probably spend as much time with her mom as possible, just because it's been a long time and she's like, oh, God, oh, gosh, I miss you so much. And eating homemade food. That's, you know, it's just like, oh, Dragonborn food. Wow, I miss you so much. And and just going crazy. But then, you know, as soon as things like uncle and Elmo and Crib are like, OK, we got to go do stuff. OK. And she'll she'll be right along with them. She honestly has no idea what's going on. So she's like, OK, we're going to we have dragons. We have the nice dragon lady and we're going to go on another trip.
OK, as well. Hopefully I don't get hit in the head as much this time, but yeah, we're going to go on a boat. That's awesome. Yeah, I hope you like boats. That's going to be like we're. She probably won't like boats. This sucks. Oh, God. Why does it keep moving? It just all time going to wind. But right now she's excited. Husky guys, I'm telling you. Maddy, you're a Husky. You just need to you just need to. That's that's to a lot of people. That's a compliment. Always happy and smiley and energetic and like, yeah, like it's just, you know, they they make you are not the first person this week where I've heard Jason say, no, this is a compliment.
The other person said, how dare you? People don't get me is the problem. You know, I feel like I'm talking to him on another level. And Casey is just easily offended. That's the thing. You guys remember Madballs? We're going all the way. All right. They won't. But the toy from the late 80s, early 90s, I said, Casey looked like a mad ball and he took offense when he looked it up. And you got to look at just three people. I can understand how you would say that's what those were called. Oh, that's that's not very nice, Jason. I think it depends on the ball. And that's the that's the problem.
I think he he saw a bad, a bad ball. They're all pretty bad. Yeah. Saying someone looks like a garbage pail kid. It's like that's what I said that they're gross. OK, first of all, that's way different because the word garbage is in the name. I think it has different connotations. You know, Madballs tracks as a compliment, as a word. Case you got mad balls like that's you know, that's how you know, like that's what about Omo in the coming weeks and months? OK, so first of all, one of the things that Omo wanted to do, I typed this out a little bit, but I'm going to he would realize maybe some of that stuff that he threw over at the cliff when he was throwing things off the side of the cliff in the fight.
Some of that might be useful and. Theoretically, there's a way down there for things that fall off the sides, off of the bridges where you have to get down to retrieve things. So he would try to figure out where that is and try to get down and try to see if he could find the sword and try to see if he could find this stuff. And that's kind of short term. See if you find the body. Yeah, well, yeah, that and the sword. And whether he does that or not, well, that's another story entirely. If he does find the sword, he'd probably try to give it to Criv. But as far as what's kind of going on, moving forward with this stuff, he'd always assumed stop.
He'd always my cat keeps hitting the microphone. No, we know it's very Blair Witch right now. Yeah. He's getting tangled up. Here we go. All right. Thank you for clicking on all of the things on my mouse cat. So it's my cat's do. Yeah, he hasn't eaten in a whopping three hours. Now knock things down. OK, anyway. We're recording. He had always thought that when he got to the end of his story, he'd either have to become a blacksmith or he'd somehow find a way to become a musician. And instead, he's kind of a politician. And, yeah, that's kind of weird for him. And so weirdly, what winds up happening is whenever he can, he gets access to a forge because it's kind of a familiarity, at least at first he tries to get to it and work on some stuff.
But over time, he kind of has less and less time to work on that as he kind of finds himself having to handle more and more responsibilities. But he never really gets around to ever putting down the guitar to become a full time politician, because he's noticed that he can the same kind of thing that he did to inspire and interest people and and help people when they were adventuring. A lot of those same tricks work musically in the courtroom. And also maybe Rutham are like some of the songs that he plays. And so he's like, OK, and maybe he does a lot of that.
But he, instead of doing what any of his childish ideas were of what his life would be like when he grew up, like a lot of people, he finds that it's very different and has a lot more responsibility than anything that he previously imagined. What about Zozo? And like the immediate days, I think you'd just be like, OK, so kind of like six close to Rutham are tries to impress her or have her notice him. But like beyond that, there's two things on his mind, like the next step in this whole ordeal, this new endeavor, contacting the gang back home and making them know that they are welcomed on the mainland.
Or getting sweet, sweet revenge on the order of the scale that initially kind of like set all of this into motion and ended up betraying him. And now that he knows they have a dragon captive, he'd want to go in, free the dragon and just like paint the walls with their blood and kind of just like have full revenge for them torturing him and doing the whole like ritual stuff. That's in Zozo's secret backstory. And Zozo thinks that anyone else could go back home to tell the dragonborn that they're welcome. They probably don't miss Zozo. And, you know, that's the job anyone else could do.
And I think the priority would probably be revenge now at that point. Hmm. What about Kriv? So Kriv is now in an interesting position, he was. So before being sent out on this mission, he was more of a healer for the group that. Yeah, some people knew, but wasn't very well known. Right. So going from that with a family to being thrust in this position, that's basically being the messenger of a Ruthmar. That's a huge shift, especially since he spent most of his life either just being a healer or an adventurer. So he's going to do everything he can to be the full time messenger of Ruthmar and make sure that there's a spot there.
And one of the main reasons why he tries to to do that and stay in town is that way he can spend most of his time with his family. I think the the mission and the like six or seven times, I feel like that they were like on death's door paired with the change and everything else really made him realize even more that. Life could be short and he wants to spend that with his family. Guys, I think we're going to put a pin in this campaign and say that you're the first group to wrap up in arc five. So congratulations, everybody. I'm going to be talking to you.
Press team. I'm going to be talking to you guys a lot. In the coming months, because we're planning stuff for the main feed and the show as a whole, there's going to be a lot of changes. We yeah, but I am going to have to talk to you guys about future plans and character stuff and all kinds of stuff. But guys, excellent fucking job. Really, we did it. We did it. We did it. We did our thing, our mission. And now the dragonborn and dragons are going to take over the world. The whole world. The gods are OK with it, though. I hope the gods won't, you know, say anything about it.
I mean, clover is at least one of their favorites. So, yeah, I'm good. I never got to use my thing. There was a lot going on. I think Ryan did a good job of recapping. Like the thing that the thing that was it's like, man, you guys get to play more than anyone else. Like that's that's the stuff that like it's like, Jason, you have to tell me what my thing does. What did I don't have to do anything that dies? What do you get to see them? Keep them for your next character. What if we say pretty please? Oh, oh, we're getting back on the eighth. Do we want to kick that?
All right. Do you want to kick it off sooner than that? For the next session planned? Yeah. Well. You get to have a mini. I would like to meet up. No, I had your chance. I what I what I what? Yeah, you did. You've had him for how many sessions? How many months? Let me shut up, Jason. Here's what I'd like to do. I would love to start talking to you guys on Discord. But if we reach a point where it's like, hey, yeah, let's use that time to jump into a call and just talk about future stuff for the show. I would absolutely love that. Like little little like town hall meetings that get recorded properly.
So, yeah, it'll still happen. You know, what fucking drives me nuts? I use the exact same settings in the same recording software to record every single one of our Patreon sessions. And it's been fine. I used it last night. It was fine. Oh, yeah. Let's see what was wrong. Oh, it's fine. Well, fuck. But yeah, no, I just didn't double check and I should have. And yeah, anyway, it's OK. Jamison got our backs. Yeah, he did. That was super detailed. It was incredibly helpful. Kind of turned into an intervention. Uh, and then, yeah, no, like I, I appreciate it. Like some of the stuff was hard to hear.
Yeah. The one group thing I'm like, but like I've got I've got a plan. I'm going to tell you guys all about it. There'll be a proper pitch. Sick. And any time we can help record extra content, if it's we pick up one off stories from this or do one shots or whatever, like what are we going to be doing? If you guys are interested in stuff like this, I was going to be running very short campaigns on Patreon to like just little like little, oh, it's a three shot or something like that. Just trying different systems or something. It's like, here's Blades of the Dark.
Here's, you know, like little, you know, like rules like type stuff that. Yeah. Yeah. Like I said, if we're done with this campaign, that means I have one slot free to record, like basically the same one a month. Yeah. One in a one or two, maybe a month. Yeah. Works out. Yeah. We can do the Wednesdays deal. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. .
