The Coming Storm
What Happens
The party meets with Kragis Ironhorn, leader of the Minotaur forces, proposing a bloodless coup to retake Stone's Under instead of a violent assault. They negotiate a four-month delay, offering to share the mountain peacefully and provide adamantite for Ironhorn's horns. Kragis reveals he possesses Storm Render, a legendary weapon smuggled out by Half-Dick, and agrees to coordinate with the party's plan involving the Brugall orcs, Duergar, and Drow. The party goes shopping for supplies and Chimera negotiates with Kolgoth to heal Ora's face in exchange for retrieving an artifact.

Let's do that thing. Where we go around the table and introduce ourselves. I'm Jason. I'm the dungeon master. Go around the table starting with Jameson. Hi, my name is Jameson. I am standing at a crossroads and the moon is full. I'm standing at a crossroads. The moon is new. I'm standing at a crossroads and the moon winks back. I play Lager and Cragborn. He's a dwarf and Marshall. I want trumpets in the background while he's talking. That's beautiful. I felt like a Tom Waits song lyrics or something. And Susan? Hi. I'm Susan Spanater. My pronouns are she-her, and I'll be playing Nythera, Royalith, the Elven Rogue Assessum.
And Ian. Hi, I'm Ian. My pronouns are he, him, any, and I'm playing chimera, the Tifling warlock. And last and certainly not least, Jasper. Hey, everybody, I am Jasper. He him, I play Ruby, Pedagru, the Half-Wark Gearslinger, Adept. Buy or beware. Uh, we're in a bit of a silly mood tonight, so I don't know where this session. going to go. But we are talking and I'm, I don't know where we're taking it. So if you're out there and you're looking for extra content, well, by golly, you can go over to patreon.com slash d-a-n-r and listen to the last hour of nonsense.
We, I, yeah, it's not nonsense. If you go and listen, we are trying to get investors on the ground floor for a million dollar idea. So if you back the page, You'll have a first seat access to our great ideas. Which you can invest in in the future. And also TM, TM on all of those ideas, by the way. Yes. You are guaranteed to see the first three rows will get wet. So just, oh boy. It's like the world. And sticky. Okay, Susan. Jesus. Come on. God. God. You get out of your hands. There's a hand gesture. There's a hand gesture that goes along with that. And it is exciting.
Where were we? I don't know the ground floor. Which is sticky. Guys. Too far. I know. Sorry. I really susaned that up. I got to clean up my act here. All right. You have sent ORA and Vetti to the gloaming quarter to check in on chat. Well, you sent Vetti for that to check in on chat and Baz. And you're sending an or out there for a couple of other things. You are for first time in a long time. I think we're done with strife and fatigue. I think you're fully rested now. You are actually. 100% tip top, guys. That's amazing. It's the 24th of Doolin still in the morning.
And you're going to get a knock on the door of your little villa here, your guest. The mayor's bungalow, right? Yeah. Yeah, Loggerin, not fully dressed will answer the door. He just opens and looks at whoever is there. Did you say not fully dressed? Yeah, not fully dressed. His pants on. Okay. I was going to ask. Is this a Donald Duck situation? He moves his way over to the door. Could he have all of his own out of top, but not anything to be? I don't need protection down there. It looks like a lot of Russian nesting doll, but upside down. Oh, okay. Never mind.
Sorry. I took it. Never mind. Guys. Ew. So. Donk on the door. I'm sorry how cute. No. I. It's a fucking hand gesture, man. I have. Breel clean this up. It's fine. All right. She'll make us respectable. knock, knock, you answer the door. And there's going to be one of the mayor's aides. And, you know, their very first thing is like, good morning, I don't mean to disturb you. You said you wanted an audience with the leader of the Minotaur. Yeah, I did say that. Are they ready? Yes, actually. Oh, great. All right. Well, let me finish getting dressed. And then we can go. You just wait there.
Yes, absolutely. Take your time. Well, don't wait there. Come in, close the door and then wait. Oh, well, all right. Thank you. Very much appreciative. You can kind of tell they're used to getting shoot away. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, Lagerin gets up Ruby and Camara. This isn't this feels like a. everybody thing. Is that breakfast? Even better. We want to talk to the Minotaurs. Oh my God. That means I eat coffee. There you go. Oh, my God. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Yeah. And now this is a full armor thing because he feels like, you know, they're here on a military thing.
So we're going to be fully armored for this. Yeah, I think it's a, I think it's a bit of a sign. of respect to, you know, especially with the Mitterre. You know, you don't want to show up slacks at a T-shirt, like the equivalent. You know what I mean? Right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. If you guys are ready, he'll just, he'll just take you on over there now. So once you leave, you're going to see this. There's, it's kind of a cul-de-sac almost. So there's a few of these bungalows and you're going to see Minotaur kind of all over the place. A lot of them are, I mean, for a lot of them are.
I mean, for a cullesack, almost. So there's a lot of a lack of a better word, just kind of chilling. Like, they're not very abrasive. They're all huge, obviously. You know, not to plain to stereotypes, but especially the Logron. Few of them are going to give Logrin a couple of dirty looks. There's some old grudges there. But for the most part, everything's fine, right? They're used to seeing that. I mean, look, you get around, you're going to see dwarves. You can't just mean mug every dwarf, you see. That's true. I don't suppose we see Brack. as we're walking around.
You know what? Let's roll. Give me. Give me a flat D20. It's off. Okay. I knew it. I knew it. Got an 11. 11. 11. 12. Nope. Don't see him. You know, that's fair. That's fair. So there's this meeting chambers, essentially, in the mayor's actual, like, the house office, whatever you want to call it. And there's this long meeting table. And you're going to see this huge minotaur, even for a minotaur, kind of wide-bodied. And you're going to see. to see. Actually, everybody give me perception, please. 26. 19. 12 for Logrin. 8 for Ruby, chimera 19, 26 for 90. So even with an eight.
Like, you're going to pick up basic things about this minotaur. One, also wearing armor, but obviously not as as as hefty as Like it's lots of straps and bone. Like he's wearing bits and pieces of, you know, bones of creatures. There's even like a ribcage type of situation that looks like it might be from like some giant lizard or something like that. Like these are these are like proud kill things that he's wearing. So yes, it's armor, but it's more trophies. Yeah. So on top of that, you're going to see that it's. some point, his horns were snapped off.
And he's had iron drip molded, basically, to create new horns. So those got to be crazy heavy. And obviously, it sends a message. And the assistant's going to be. Sir, this is Logrin-Kragborn. And he's not sure if he should introduce everybody in your party or if you're like their military leader. And so he's kind of looking at Lagrin. Lager looks right back. He does not give him any hint at all. He's just saying. And this is the leader of the Minotaur, Kragis Ironhorn. And then fanfare. In distance, there's a wizard loose. Oh, God. Yep. So, yeah, Logrin will look at the aid, and then he will look to Kragus, Ironhorn, you said.
He will look to Kragis, and he will give him sort of a little nod, and he will reach up for a handshake. Yeah, Kragis, for his part, is going to stand up right away and, you know, walk on over and give you a big, like a big handshake. Excellent to meet you. Very warm, actually. Pretty friendly. It's good to meet you, too. I assume Brax found his way to you. He did. We have a lot to discuss, but will you be joining us? And he's looking at the party. Oh, yeah, this is this is Ruby. This is night there. This is kind of. mirror. She's still, Ruby, by the way, has her mug still.
She's still nursing whatever she could get from coffee. And he's kind of sizing you up. I don't think it would be readily apparent to him. Like, it's like, okay, you're a group. And you've definitely seen combat. But there's got to be more to you than what I'm seeing because you're not physically intimidating. And you know what I mean? Like, Nythera, like you could look at Nythier I can guess what you do. It's like Ruby and Kimera specifically. It's like, what's the red twink do exactly? It's scary in the afternoon once they've woken up. Oh, a twung. It must be dead.
Well, to a minotaur. It's fair. There's a twink to a minute. There's your teacher. I want that on a bumper sticker. Everything is a twink to a minute. I want to put that in my car in Florida and see the response to it. Just get a few water sprinkled on your car. I'm angry, but I don't quite know why. I just doesn't like it. We really likes it. I'm mad about that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And he'll motion back to the, come on. It's we need to talk. And he's got a what looks to be a gallon jug of something. And he's going to pull the cork out of it. And I don't care how low your perception is.
You are going to smell. It smells like turpentine. There has been an arms race. With alcoholic marriages. Between the dwarf. population and the minotaur. Who can create the strongest drink? Orcs are in there too. But obviously, survival became a much more pressing concern. But then it crept back in as like, oh, this will keep you warm type of thing. So there's still that arms race going. And he is going to pour all of you. essentially like a couple of fingers of alcohol. Yeah. It's like a morning. Ruby just with her coffee mug. She's just like, oh yeah, absolutely.
Thank you. I'm going to try in coffee or like, is it just. I'm going to try to very discreetly cast predigation on some of our cups to. to enhance the flavor a little bit. That's interesting. Actually, you know what? Let's look at Presta to notation and see how. I want to say something. Because if you get caught doing it, it could be offensive. You know what I mean? Like he's offering you a drink and you're like, let me make this taste good. You know what I mean? Well, he wouldn't know I'm trying to make it taste better. Just saying things to it. This probably happens a lot with Ruby's coffee too.
It's just like it's the peppermint flavor. It's the, you know, just like, give me something new today. Like what you got? This is white chocolate or whatever. Have you heard of hazeln? Yeah. Yeah. I want to do that one again. I want to do that one again. Oh, yeah. Manifest one of the same. senses. Yeah. So there's a visual and sound component to it. So like I could have you roll a stealth check if you want. If you want to take a shot. I am not good at stealth. Well, let me ask you this case. Oh yeah. Go ahead. Well, in this case, we could substitute your your decks for your wisdom modifier because it's a it's a spell sneaky, not a decks.
Okay. Okay. Does that make sense? Okay. Yeah, that makes sense. I can try. I'm trying to give you a shot at this that would, you know, add up. Yeah. Yeah. Let me try that. Let me just try that. All right. So it'll be plus five. Oh, God. Okay, 22. Okay. That was a good role. That would have been a good role with Degs, too. Damn. Yeah. So this would be either he doesn't notice or doesn't take offense. Type of thing. You know what I mean? Haisal nut. Just a little nutty flavor for that real rough, real rough moonshine. And then just take a big sip and be like, hmm, brisk. This is, oh, man, what would this be like?
So. slowly but surely they're making poison they're looping back around to it was already getting that way a hundred and twelve years ago now we're getting to the point where like when you go like the one chip challenge type thing it's like okay you guys are just making mace like this is just edible mace like this isn't a flavor anymore this is a salt you know So this is meant to almost instantly loosen somebody up if you're the size of a minotaur or Goliath or have the constitution of a dwarf or you're a dinosaur or you're a dinosaur, something like that. Everybody else, there is a not just a probability of getting drunk, perhaps a coma. So we'll deal with that.
But yeah, no, it is. And he knows that. So he would pour less for everybody but Logren, I think. But for Logrin, it's like, no, no, no, you're drinking when I'm drinking. Yeah. And Logrin's constitution is 12. So we're going to. Do you want me to drink for you? Inside the armor, it's a little, it's like a Reese's egg. Like it's. He has poison resistance. I'm sure that'll help. I think this counts as poison at this point. Can you stab somebody with this? I think it would be... He was resisting a toxin in his bloodstream, right? So, yeah. And he'll pull out his chair and it's like, please sit, sit.
Yeah, loggerin will take whatever position is. is opposite this guy and then like gesture, you know, if they're not already sitting for everybody else to come sent? Yeah. Is he alone too? Is it just him? Just him. Just him. Okay. No bodyguards. No, no, nothing like that. Which kind of sends a message of its own. Like, you know, he's either not worried that you would attack him or he's not worried that you would attack him. Like it is, you know. Is he armed? So, he has something strapped to his back. You could see the hilt of it coming up. His white-ass body is good.
So you know he has a weapon. That's fine. The weapon probably starts with great. Like via a hammer and axe. It's big. So yeah. I imagine you guys have your weapons too. Sure. Yeah. We're all kidded up. Non-visible. Here's the thing. I still picture Nithera with holsters everywhere. Like you look like a mid-noughties X-Man. Like it's just pockets and belts and buckles. There's just knives. They pop out. So. Right. They can't all pop out or your wrists would look like Mega Man. Like some of them. Maybe they do. The pouches all have cookies in them. Yeah. She's a great. It's really.
It's worth. That's the grandmother and her. Candid strawberries. It's strawberry candy. Yeah. Another great analogy for for Loggren's body. It's the little strawberry jelly center of the hard candy. You guys are jerks. Laugrin is cut, okay? But he can't get cut or he dies. He's sensitive. So, I'm told you want to speak with me about, and he's going to, he's kind of lower his voice. A possible assault. Well, I do want to speak with you about it. If it's all right with you, and he will make a show of like taking a sip of, a sizable sip of his drink. If it's all right with you, let me explain the situation as I understand it.
And then you feel free to correct me if I have anything wrong. So when we met with Brax and dozer, you know, take a sip, you know, rest in peace. They told us that there was a plan between your folk and the door. in the drow to lead an assault on Stone's Under. And if he doesn't correct me, then he'll keep going. Yeah, he kind of raises an eyebrow. It's like, mm-hmm. It just, there's, the tiniest part of him is like, why the fuck are they telling you guys about that? That's fine, whatever. Oh, shit, I got Brex in trouble. Oh, no. Yeah. Go out tozer. Uh, you know, that sucks.
Okay. So he'll say, And the way I understand it is that the doer guy we're going to provide the weapons and the drought we're going to sneak in through the back or the bottom or something. I'm not sure. And you and your people were going to lead the assault on the mountain and take it back. And I assume divided up between you or something like that. Is that more or less? I'm sure it's more complex than that, but that's my understanding. I see the mountain is large enough to share, yes. So the conversation that me and Brax had is that, well, there's no doubt that you would succeed in doing that.
The mountain is designed to resist exactly. that thing. So even though I don't doubt that you and your people would make it in there, not without heavy losses. That's just what the mountains designed for. Oh, no, he's nodding alone too, like he understands. Yeah, and like, so he's, you know, in the door guard. They have a lot that they can offer, but I'll be honest, they just learned how to build tanks, so they're a little bit behind. And, you know, and I'm not sure between you and me how much the drow are going to factor in. I'm sure there's defenses in place.
So I told Brax what I want to tell you, which is that we, gesturing to the four of us, are already enacting a plan to take that mountain. Bloodless. and once we do, it will be reopened to the Minotaur, and to the drow, and to the door car. And he's going to end the dwarves, I imagine. You said it yourself, there's room there for everybody. Sentiment not share. by your people. There are some. I think the problem is that the Stone Sunder's voice has been too loud for too long and too many people think that the way that they think is the way we all think.
They've been in charge for a long time. They're not in charge anymore. There's a pretender on the throne now. and they have isolated themselves and their people to the detriment of everybody. The only way to take that mountain, well, there's two ways to take them out in your way, which would work. Get a lot of yourselves killed, get a lot of them, guild, probably destroy most of, if not all of the habitable space in there, or my way. which is a challenge, but we're in the midst of figuring it out. We have a plan we're enacting it. We've asked the door guard to give us four months before they move on the mountain.
And I would ask the same from you. If that time comes and goes and we haven't done it, then I think we both know there's nothing I can do that will stop you from taking the mouth. I'm only asking for time before you do it. Save some lives. He's going to mull this over. Take a couple of sips. Refill his glass at a certain point. Well. Well. My people lost their home over a century and a half ago and I don't think four months is going to kill us, but we have been promised things by dwarfs before, and I'd like you to tell me what makes you different. Why don't you live there currently?
The people inside that mountain are so isolated that now they're doing to each other. What was done to you? My clan, the Cragborn, was exiled from the mountain a hundred years ago. We've been living in Aubrey. So while this started as just a way to get. my own people reinstated. My time out in the world has kind of help me understand your situation and the drought and everybody else. Because there's a lot of reasons to hate the stone sunders. Believe me. But that's not all of us. And the sooner we can get them from the isolation that they're suffering in right now, the better of the rest of them will be too.
I'm sure I don't need to tell you that I come from a proud people. And there have been many leaders in my position that refuse to work with anyone but Minotaur. And I believe that ended up dividing us. And don't get me wrong. Ebony Harbour's been a wonderful home for what it is, but it's not ours. And I'm more than capable of working with others if it means a future for our people. So tell me more about this bloodless coup. Promise not to laugh. I have been drinking. No. No. So. The queen of Stone Sunder is still alive. Her name's Mara. She's in a coma currently.
We have reason to believe she's been poisoned intentionally to put her in a coma. The usurper on the throne right now, it's named Grimhorn. We have a way of getting into the city with an artifact that we're assembling that will allow us to enter, to enter the mind of the comatose queen, and convince her to abdicate before she even wakes up. When she releases power, it won't be in her hands anymore, and it will not be in Grimhorn's hands anymore. And we will be able to install a new king or queen who will see things more our way. And by hour, he gestures to himself into Ironhorn.
Bloodless. I imagine you need to get close. How are you going to do that? I've had regular contact from a man on the inside of the mountain. Receive correspondence from time to time. He's promised us to weigh in. We have a lot we need to do between now and then, which is why I'm asking for four months. But when we do get to the mountain, we will. will be able to get in. We're also, to anticipate your next question. He kind of grins a little bit and takes another sip, because this stuff is pretty good. He, there is the issue of a military presence. I don't imagine the grimhorn will allow access to the queen for easily.
We've talked to the Brugall orcs. and they're going to stage a military operation outside the mountain, draw the army out. So there's fewer guards inside. So someone gets to kill dwarves. No, there won't be any combat. We just want to make it look like an attack is imminent. Hmm. It takes a little bit of offense. to the Gepst to kill dwarves a bit, but he doesn't say anything. It's just, it's just, it's said with like a hint of, ah, you know. A little bit of that. Yeah. Their king did have a skinned minotaur rug in their throne room. Like, they're bare assholes.
Yeah. It's so. Yeah. I mean, it's fair. Um. Like I said, the idea is for it to be bloodless. I don't expect it to go perfectly. But I do very much hope that there isn't any fighting in this part of the process. Now, if you would like to do something really fun and join the Brugall in that posturing outside the gates, I think that'd be pretty motivating for the dwarfs to come out and say hi. aren't the York sick? They've lost most of their numbers over the years. It might be said they would need us to stand by them to look at, to make it look like some sort of threat.
That could be. I can tell you, the Brugall we met seemed fine. I know they're not all healthy, but the healthy ones are still in fighting shape. If you wanted to join them, then it's more of a threat. And if we fail, then you're right there. Let's say that I believe you can do exactly what you're saying. enter the dreams of a comatose dwarf child and convince her to surrender a throne that she might not even be aware she has. And get close enough to do all this without dying. Mm-hmm. What could I do to speed up the process? Do you know what an orb of? of chaotic assault is.
No. Okay. Well. Looking at his trophies, though. Nighteera will look him up and down. What about a greater demon horn? So. So. Why do you need that? But there's a, there's a bit behind his voice. Like with your passive insight, you'd be able to, it's like, maybe. Like, just kind of a, you know. I saw I stopped the bone guy, right? Yeah. Oh, you like bones. Oh. Check this out. Um, the artifact we are assembling is pretty intense. We've been traveling all over the continent, assembling pieces for it, and one of the things we need is the horn of a greater demon. Have you ever fought a demon before?
Yes. A greater demon. My understanding is that yes, I have. I turned to Ruby and just go, I just go, I thought it was pretty great. Sounded amazing, but yeah. Yeah, he's going to give you a little nut like, all right, shit. Like, it's. You know what? He'll even point to the three scratch marks in the front of his armor. Yeah. It's incredibly impressive that you're still alive. I have tangled with a greater demon, and I have managed to kill it with help, but I lost family members in the process. It's no small feat. I'm sorry to hear that. How do you intend on getting a bead on a greater demon?
We have a couple of threads we're chasing. The list is getting shorter, but we are looking at a few different things right now. So he's not, he's not going to say anything. But his eyes too, kind of flit over to to chimera. There's a little bit. I know. Like in Minotaur culture, like it's, they kind of, they kind go in for the, it's like, you know, if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck and got horns and fire and some. Yeah. You have horns too. In those cases, that would be racist. But in this, in this case, he's right on money. Damn it. Oh, wait. It's like when a dog pee is on a fire hydrant, it's like, stop things.
Yeah, exactly. Stop that. Stop that. You're better than this. It's just like the cartoon. So yeah, he sees, just, you know, all right. All right. You're not going to believe the serendipity of all this, but I too, had someone on the inside of this city to get me something that my people have lost decades ago. It's one of the reason to get me something that my people have lost decades ago. It's one of the reasons we'll be leaving. to-night before there's hubb. And he's, he's going to reach up, and he's going to pause for just a second before, like, he's like, I'm going to draw my weapon.
It's not to, like, cut you up. It's, you know, just, uh. And you pull this huge great axe off his back. And kind of, kind of. kind of like, plop it down on the table. History checks all around, please. Oh, yeah. In my head, when you said big thing that we can't see and say what it was, I was like, yeah. I saw Susan getting all giddy and I was like, what is it? And then I heard history check and I was like, oh, I think I know what this is. Okay, not bad. Kind of a fan of the show. I don't know. I don't know. So, geez. So this is an act called Storm Render. And it has been lost for a long time.
Several decades ago, there was a pilgrimage. It used to belong. It belonged to the paladins of cord. And obviously, there was a huge rift between the two. And eventually they set out to find this thing. Because they thought having a connection to their past like that, having these artifacts present would show them some sort of pathway to a future. But that being said, they guard it with their lives. Like these weapons are kept under lock and key. They're not on display. And anyone outside the higher ranking palatins in the city have not seen this in. forever.
So. Let me see here. Yeah. So Chimera with a 10 is probably probably like, okay, that's neat. Like that's a neat looking at. Like that's like you can like you can feel that. Yeah. You could feel that magic in the air. Right. Like it is, it is a weapon that it's like, oh, shit. Like there's some mojo in that. I'm not pretend like I know what it is. though. Yeah. I mean, you get the ch-d-d-st-of-it-up. So, Ruby 15, Logrin, 20, Nithera, 18, they would know what this is. And it is, it's very like, how the fuck did you get that? Like, that is, you shouldn't have that, and you damn sure shouldn't have it in this city.
You know, there's a lot. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And so Logren definitely makes a face like, respect, you know, like he is like, okay, you're clearly the right person to be talking to. And he's almost like after he sets it down, like if you give him, he's like, do you want to hold it? Um, I'm going to roll deception to not look as excited as long as I actually. be cool be cool be cool movies already stood up by the way oh you did not play it cool one i can hold it whoa yeah he'll kind of he'll kind of push it over and like you grip it in your hands you can feel like that tingle run up your forearms as you hold this thing you feel like you can cleave this desk in two and light up the room and just blast things off the wall with that.
Like, there is so much power running through that, that it just, there's something about it that it feels, it feels like it feels like it was made for you. Like it just fits. It's like, oh, the spacing's great when I, you know, like it just feels good. You know what I mean? Well, bad news. Ironhorn. This is my ex now. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No. Yeah. He does. He doesn't do that. But he does like take a second. And I think all three of you who know Logrin well enough know that he is looking for something to hit. And he has to stop himself. He's like, what in here can I afford to smash?
Oh, yeah. Ruby. Ruby backs up. Meaningful eye contact. Yeah. No, no. She backs up with meaningful eye contact. And then she just tosses her coffee mug right there towards you like a softball. Oh, shit. Okay. Well. All right. Yeah, we'll do a, we'll swing at it. Why not, right? Yeah. Okay. Do you want to make an attack? Please. Okay. Do I get a bonus for using this frigging legendary weapon? It just comes with bonuses. It should, right? I'm going to say. you can make an argument for both, that it's like it's the first time you've ever held something like this. I'm just going to say, go ahead and give yourself a D6 expertise to die.
Okay. I am proficient with these type of weapon. I have an evil idea that I would have proposed beforehand. Okay. Oh? I'm sorry. But if you roll a one, what if you accidentally activate one of the legendary actions? Let's cross that bridge. I roll a 20. What if I activate one on purpose? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm just using my, my own weapon as a weapon here. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's a 22. They hit a coffee mug. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. So this thing. So here. So there's a. you've never experienced this before, but well-made weapons and armor. Like when you're wearing this armor, yeah, it's a little cumbersome and stuff like that.
But when you're in a fight, it is like, it's exemplary. It feels like whenever you get hit, like it absorbs the shock. Whereas even, you know, plate, chain mail, stuff like that. You feel it. There's bruises. Like you, you know. This, like a well-made weapon, there's something about the heft of something like this feeling right. You know what I mean? Like, it's very easy to make the head of an axe too heavy to wield. And it's all like off-balance. There's something about this. You're just going to baseball swing at this coffee mug. And you feel the weapon want to hit.
Like you can, like not like it's sentient, but there's something. It's like, I haven't hit anything in so long. and you're going to shatter this coffee mug of course. But you're also going to discharge this lightning that will imbue every shred of this coffee mug with electrified shrapnel that is going to just pop-la-p-p-p-p-p-p-p like it all over. Like, it is going to rip through the table into the walls, like into the ceiling, just this disco ball of electricity. And then just kind of like stop. But there's like a little. It's almost like when the Ghostbusters trap closes, just a little like a little fizzle.
So after that, there's like a beat and then Loggering looks at him and he says, this has been really special. Thank you. I'm going to give it back to you now. He's actually going to chuckle and like put a hand on your shoulder. I have an ungood authority. There's two more weapons. there if you want to uh you shouldn't we shouldn't but you know and he's going to put the axe back but you know if you want to tell us where well and he's kind of like like like like faking like restraint kind of is you know Brax approached me a while back. He met a very underwhelmed young man within the palatins that, well, he was looking for revenge.
So he put him in contact with me and one thing led to another, and he smuggled this weapon out for us. God damn. It's really beautiful. It's incredible. I never thought I would get to hold something like this, but it turns out when you give someone the nickname half dick, then there it is. You're sort of asking for it. We know him. He's a good guy. Oh, you've met him. You should meet his mother. And he lets that hang. He lets him interpret. however he wants. Yeah. He's like, you fuck his mom? Because like that's probably not cool. Like he's kind of like... Yeah, after Camaro went off looking for or a logger and doubled back for a couple minutes.
You're going to broaden her horizons. Maybe he already fucked up your sheets. Let's go. Let's go. Fanfare. I'm on. I picture jazz, man. Yeah. I'm going to ask. He's going to be looking at storm render and he's going to say, that is truly impressive. Is this what you used to kill a greater demon? Was this ax? No, no, I didn't have anything like this. This was 12, 13 years ago. That's, and he's going to point to his own horns. That's how I lost my original horns. There's a bit of like somberness in there. Oh, tell me more. And he's kind of like about which part. Just the fight?
Yeah, what did you use? How did you feel it? What was its name? If you don't mind me asking. I have no idea what its name was, but my brother summoned it. He was an idiot. But well-meaning, every couple of decades in our society, someone gets the bright idea to ask for outside help. And while many in my lineage are too proud to ask outside races, apparently. Demons are fine. Of course, the demon betrayed him, and we tried to fight it for my brother's soul. Sadly, he died in the fight and a few others. But we managed to rip its head off. Hmm. Strong necks on a demon.
Yes. Nothing weak about them, really. Most of them. Must have been an incredible fight. Did you use just conventional weapons? How many of you were there? Five in total. Oh, what I wouldn't give to fight a demon again with this? He's kind of like grip. Yeah, just... Let me ask you a question when you leave today. Where are you going? We're a meeting with the drowl. Where's that? We have to head north about 50 miles. Sadly, we have to meet them on their turf, which means I have to duck quite a bit. So Lagerin turns and like puts his arm like over the chair behind him to look at Nithera appointed.
Who do you know? Well, so I know I've had homework, Jason, but I don't know where the underground entrances are. And that's where her family would be. Okay. That's not like, yeah, it's not hard because they're, you know, they're not as plentiful as back in the day. because the weather was nicer. But yeah, there's tons of them. Yeah. So there's probably... Is... Okay. So that part of the family... Yes, ending this shit. Let's go. Yeah, I know. That part of the family... I get you after a car. Like, you know, sure. Well, that part of the family had relationships with the Eladron or the high elves because they...
Nithera has grandchildren that are... Drow Eladrin. So they probably have connections outside of Odysseia. Maybe there's some an Esther hole. Is this like a big diplomatic place for them for Durow? Well, anywhere where their leaders are, they're very much. Home is where they set up. They've kind of always had that. And there's cave-ins, there's monsters. There's home changes. So they're very much, we are home. Like when we roll up into a place, that's it. So they have a few different places. But like to you, you'd know like 50 miles north of here. It would be a place safe enough that they would insist on a meeting taking place there.
There wouldn't be any monstrous, terrible things attacking them. And not only them, but their guests would be safe there. So, yeah. Okay. I mean, I don't have the updated information on her family, but her family could be there. So Nythera seeing the Loggren look behind it at her and knowing that this is a diplomatic mission and her family are diplomats. So that's who the drought portion of her family are. They could possibly be there. I might know who you're meeting with. There's going to be like just kind of like cocking his head. Like, really? I didn't want to assume all elves know each other, but.
I have a very large family. Can you tell me what we're walking into maybe? Depends. Is it a planning meeting for your assault or siege? Well, they value power, but different than your sort of power. They value the kind they can accumulate. Okay. Let me ask you a question. Where are you going next? Raise an eyebrow to Logren. Odysseo. He's going to scrunch his nose up like, ew. He does it too. Ruby does too. Yeah. Yeah. My care does too. This is the first she's heard. What? I'm sorry. Yeah. Definitely. It's like they're snooty and self-entitled. They only use magic. It's everything that they're like, ugh, you know, like, okay.
Why? Well, that whole form of chaotic assault thing I asked you about. Apparently they got one. Oh. Just putting it together. All right. Well, good luck with that. Very much. Very much. They're not going to just give you anything. Here's what I might ask of you. If you're going to go meet with the drought, if you're willing to tell them what I've told you, the door guard already in agreement. And if you're in agreement, then it doesn't seem too far-fetched to say the drought aren't going to try it on their own. But we would like to meet with them. If you could pass that along and tell them we'll be back in Asterole in a couple weeks.
Maybe we can set something up. And while Loggeron's talking, Nithira takes out like a quill and paper and starts writing down, and she hands him a list of names, which I will give you later, Jason. And if any of these people are present at your meeting, let them know that... Wait, let them know that Nithira is working with Logrin, Nithera Riala. And he'll kind of reach out and take this. he's kind of realizing he's agreeing to a lot here. Because if it were just his people, obviously, it's like, look, we can wait a few more months. But a lot of people are getting roped into this now.
And let's say all this falls through or you just skip town or whatever. It's like, man, it's going to make me look like an asshole. But I'm not getting anything off of you that screams don't. trust me, right? Oh, thank you for this. I'm sure it will smooth things over a bit. Can I ask you a question? Hmm. And she's going to point at her head where his horns are. If it's not too forward to make you talk, about it. What's it like to lose something like that? I mean, I don't mean what's it like, because clearly you've taken care of it. I mean, what's it like?
And she kind of points at her heart a little bit. Especially for, you know, you. You. You. When we fought that demon, I barely survive. It was shortly after that that I was voted in his leader. It is painful to lose something that's a part of yourself. It's like missing a hand. Thankfully, our craftsman gave me the next best thing. That being said, there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about cleaving that demon in two by myself to make up for it. It's not as satisfying as I thought it would be. Just hypothetically. that would you feel if they were made of animantite?
Oh, God. He, like, hypothetically, you have at a mantite? We do. He's going to make a noise. It's a fart. He farts. It's It's Okay Whatever noise you made Can I hold it? That's almost the noise he's going to make. It's like guttural arousal. Like that just almost And you'd be willing to part with it. I'd give you enough to do that. So long as we see our way to agree on the rest of it. There's a, like, he catches himself a little bit. Because he's like, well, I can't just benefit from this and then like, yeah, like, I don't want to sell out my people, but he's like, you know, he's just.
I'll just think about it. You have yourself a deal, Logran. And he's going to hold out his hand again. Yeah, he'll take his hand. and do the predator hand shake. Rax was not incorrect about you. He said that you were more trustworthy than most dwarves. That's the nicest thing you could have said. And it is my plan to earn that. Is there something I can do for? for you before we leave town tonight. It takes a step just to cover how much he's thinking about it. As much as I want to say yes, I think, for me. I think the best thing you can do for me is put, in the best word possible with the drow.
Because if we have you and the Dorgar and the burgal and the drow, I think something really good is going to come out of this. Well, then good on your journey south, and even more so good getting what you need for from the alladron. He says the alladron with quite a bit of stink. Yeah. I'm not looking forward to it, but we've been, we've been in some unpleasant situations in the name of getting this done. And depending on how things go on Odysseia, maybe we can meet up with you again with the drow. and give you a chance to swing that axe in a way that feels satisfying for your horns.
He's got this weird feeling about you. Like, you're going to see every time. They all do. It's like, it's like, hmm. There's, it's like, so it's like tasting of food or something. And you're like, there is a taste in there. What seasoning is that? What is that? Like, there's something about you. It's just like, hmm. I'm getting, I'm, I'm, there's some earthy undertones. But there's something in there. I just don't, you know. I'm sure that you'll see me again. Good luck with your demon. But he's firmly looking at chimera when he says it. And he'll get ready and leave.
But he will come back and take that bottle, then he'll leave. That's all right. He can have that bottle. That's fine. And he leaves and logger and just looks at the, yeah, you three. He's like, I think that went pretty well. I couldn't have gone better. I'm really drunk. I'm so drunk. I can't see. He's saying all of that in Ruby. He's like over here, over this way. He's talking about it. So that alcohol is called labyrinth because it is meant to leave you disoriented. And it's like you won't know where you are. Like you won't be able to find your way out of this room.
Like that kind of thing. So blindness might be like like just like a vignette maybe around the world. It's just like, oh. Hmm. Just cut to the rest of the day. Lager and wandering the halls of this man. That's happening. That's That's You're hallucinating that wizard You hear that? It's like, oh, God. He's in here somewhere, I know it. It sounds like I need to get some of that adamantite Well, once we get back to the vampires and sort that out. We got to figure out how to shave off some chunks of that adamantite anyway, because he points to a his armor. I'm going to get this fixed up a little bit.
Oh, nice. Yeah, I can make that happen. Yeah. It's good. It wasn't heavy enough. Well, so actually, out of character, what I would like to be able to do, and you let me know, Jason, if this is even possible. But what Loggerne wants to do is infuse Adamantite into the stone armor, not to bring his IC higher, although if it happens, a global point, I don't But to bring the total bulk and weight of it down a little bit. Oh, okay. You know what I mean? Like if he infuses maybe 20% of the stone armor with adamantite, maybe it doesn't change his AC, but maybe it makes it so it's 50 pounds lighter or something, you know, something like that.
Or maybe it's magic armor now because of the infusion or whatever. I don't know. Well, just so happens, there's a system for making stuff like that. I just haven't had a chance to dust it off. So yeah, all right. We can definitely mess with it. Yeah, that'll be one of those goals for when we're free of this place is. Yeah, shit. Okay. Yeah. A big old magic butter knife and start shaving off slices of that ingot. It doesn't start. All right, well, I'm going to go lay down again because I drink way too much of that's well. 9 a.m. It's like, all right, good day.
And I'll see you all tomorrow. Very productive. Ruby, do you want to go get some provisions? We can go see if that tattoo has gotten a safe. Well, that's next question I had for you was, can we leave? this place? And she's going to try to pull that down because she can't see her loyalty tattoo at all. So she's like, can you, is it saying anything? Yeah, it looks like they're having a deal on health potions. Good one, too. Oh, completely free health potions. Amazing. Wonderful. What else? Greater health portions, even. Greater health potions. Yeah. They're giving away invisibility It's crazy.
We got to go. And a steep discount on poisons. Wow. Actually, they mixed it in with the health potion. So it's even carrying less, really. Buy one, get one. Well, disregarding all of that. Yeah. Yes. Fine. Let's go shopping. Great. So we are able to leave the, the, the, The compound. Premises. Yeah. They, like, they, like, obviously, you were cleared of everything. It was more just like, hey, give us. Give us the night to double check all this just to make sure. But like, you were super cooperative. And they didn't find anything that would be, you know, it was pretty open and shut to be honest.
He had everything but a note saying, I did it. I'm evil. So, you know. As circumstances go, it was pretty good. good. So, you know what? While we're talking numbers, let's talk XP for that fight. How about that? Yeah. You've only been asking me for two weeks. So I figured I should, you know, no, no, no, not you have every right. So, 5,000 XP divided four ways. Which is what, 1,250? I can math. I did it. Trust me. I'm super smart. 1,250. Correct. Yeah. It's Jersey education right there, baby. 11.357. Yeah. Oh, yeah. I like it. Well, Camer should have more, right? Because he...
Oh, that's right. Because he killed Keith. 1,107. Yes. That is the number that I have. Oh shit. Do you level up? No, I'm very close, but not quite. Not quite. Yeah. Okay. Do we get any experience for fighting each other? Or a high-speed chase on rooftop? I'm factoring in. This is a bulk. Yeah. Yeah, I'm rounding up to just because it's like, hey, you almost got thrown off a roof. You know, it's fair. Nice. Thank you. What about for killing the coffee cup? Right? We're wielding a legendary weapon. Come on. Well, if anything, someone from the mayor's office is going to go, what the fuck?
Like when they go into that room. Here's the thing in the next setting book, which is not happening. But in the next setting book, I want a chronicle of Storm Render and all of its famous wielders. And I want a footnote at the bottom, Logren broke a coffee mug. Yes. And that'll be his mark on history. I love it. You might be the first person to swing it in anger in quite a while, though, like, you know. Was it anger, though? It was pure joy. It was joy. It was a type of anger. Yeah. Yeah. Joy is a type of anger. Is it? Yes. Is it? Joy is a type of anger. Mine is. Here's a barbarian character concept.
Wee. All right, yeah. So shit, if we're going shopping, I guess we're going shopping drunk. That's the best time to go shop. Well, let me go. Let me roll a constitution because I didn't do that. I'm just going to. Oh, boy. Should we all? I'm going to roll it with advantage because poison resistance or no. Go for. it. Go ahead. Hooray. You need it. That went great. And just to fall over. 19 total. Everybody gave me a constitution, say, please. Okay. Sure, yeah. You didn't drink that much. It's not going to be like your liver stops. You know. It just stops and turns off.
Whoa. Ruby. Whoa. Wow. 12 for Nithera, 22 for Ruby. And 15 for Kimera. Everyone's fine. Like, you feel it. Definitely, you feel it. Like, I would say it's like when you turn motion blur up on a game. So, like, if you turn your head too fast, it's like, whoa. Like, you know, it's that kind of. Yeah. But again, the perfect time to go shopping. Well, I think it's time for big, greasy breakfast. And then. Go for a big greasy breakfast. Right now. Let's do it. I hear 20-minute bonzo scene. Let's all wave it. Let's arm wave it. Just speed up the soundscape that breed made for it.
It's speed up real quick. What are we after? What are we after? So first of all, how much money? are you guys sitting on at this point. We're being very ambiguous about that. A lot. I mean, it doesn't come up nearly as much as your items or XP, I don't think. I think we always just kind of do lots around money. Do we have Ores 15,000? I don't know if we ever got Ores 15K. She might spend that on cosmetic surgery, guys. I'm going to let you know that. No, she hasn't given it to you yet. That's fine. Lagerin is currently carrying 980 gold pieces and 1,000 platinum pieces.
Jesus Christ. Okay, you really buried the lead on that one. What, you don't do cents before dollars when you talk about money? I have 87 cents and a thousand dollars. I have nine hay pennies and a billion dollars. All right. So big daddy Loggins buying everybody some stuff. I mean, we need. Yeah, we need the old standards. We need greater healings. We need. Yeah. So many healing potions. Yeah, we need some of the good healing potions and then some healing potions for chat, the bad ones. God. That's a mean. He's a vampire lord. you'll respect them. There's a history of getting respect in this show.
Trips, the curtains open. No! That potion of invisibility did come in real handy, though, just saying. It's not a terrible thing. It's not terrible. It's just pricey. Greater healing Potions, 150 gold each, and you get to spend 4D4 plus 4. You regain that many hit points. Sorry. I could have ordered that less clunky. Cents before dollars again. So, all right, I guess we'll do above the table talk here, just to not make this take forever. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What if we do like two greater healing potions each and then a handful of the smaller ones? Because I don't think we need 40 for a portion.
I'm good on the basic healing potions. I still have three. Oh, God. I have two. Yeah, I have two as well. So we can. I have either. I either have one or none. Let me see. Well, I'm going to add two greater healing to my sheet. Yeah. I'll take two greater as well. All right. I trust you, by the way. We'll settle up after this. Yeah, I'm just going to write stuff down real quick while we're doing it. Yeah, I'll put that in my notes. Okay, so two greater healing potions each, which is eight. Yep. How much is invisibility, a potion of invisibility? $5,500. Hmm. Hmm. But you do get like a 20% discount.
Our tattoos, yeah. Yeah. What about purple worm poise? And that was pretty awesome when I used that. Sure. Ruby's had something on her mind. She's going to at least look to see if there's any sort of potion of heroism, which it's after drinking this for the next hour, you gain 10 temporary hit points and the benefits of the bless spell without having to concentrate on it. But it's still the bless spell, which is a D4 added to attack rolls or saving throws. She had this in mind Because after she watched Nithera, after she watched the Ravens Mass come out and the struggle that she had, she has been thinking about what could she get for her that could maybe give her a little edge on managing it if it happens again.
So that's been on my mind. But of course, she's not going to be able to afford it on her own. So she's going to have to go beg, you know. I mean it's 550. 5.50. Purple worm poison is 2,000 a dose. So here's the thing. Puppy dog's eyes to logger. So here's the thing. One of the interesting things is you guys started out your campaign with a big windfall. And throughout the campaign, you like that potion of invisibility helped, you know, immeasurably. Purple worm, same thing. Like, you know, and you have stockpiled quite a lot of gold. But now you're kind of faced with that, am I willing to pay that much to have that in my back pocket?
Because you never know what you're going to run into. Like, if you had the knowledge of the last 40 episodes in that first session when we sat down, what would you have grabbed in that potion shop? You know what I mean? What we grabbed. It was awesome. It was pretty awesome. It's true. But like, now you're about to get back on the road. How much are you willing to spend to have a skeleton key for every situation? Did we get the silver from the mayor before we left? Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Do we have like a silver dagger or shorts or? So, hmm, give me a D20.
Let's roll on the table. How about that? Okay. Because he did say it's, it's kind of scarce. It's, you know. Seven. So I think there'd be enough for a silver dagger. You know what I mean? Like not a solid silver dagger, but they've, they've silvered the blade so that, you know, let's say you shank a werewolf, like that'll come in handy. Honestly, if you shank a man, just a regular man, that would also have It also works on them. It's not the witcher. The silver weapons also work on dudes. Yeah. During our shopping session, I Thera would ask the Logrin if maybe they could have it fitted into her gauntlet.
So it would have all the benefits of our gauntlet. But it would, yeah. That sounds like something Ruby could maybe even. Oh, yeah, Ruby could do it too. you know, for you. Because it's just a springloaded dagger. Yeah. Just to release. Yeah. Yeah. Unless someone else wanted the dagger. No, I think we all are like, oh, we got a dagger. All right. Well. Throwing them the pile. The whole. The whole is a nice. Obviously, come out. It gets it. Yeah. I don't want to assume. I get it. I know when the loot drops, we all have to like bid for it. But I think. And then it's a great.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I just started playing wow again. Oh, God. Hmm. That's pretty good. I love it. Yeah. So, okay, so we have a silver dagger. We have potions. Are we getting anything besides the healing potions? Because I've got eight greater healing and five regular healing. Because sounds like Logrens, the only one who needs them. Yeah. How much of the regular healing potions? Yeah. 50 gold a pot. Okay. You're getting the five of those? Getting five of them. And eight of the greater. And just to help out listening or show, cutting up a show, maybe if we see anything, because it looks like we're probably pretty close in the session, but if we see anything after, we could say, oh, and we pick up this at the beginning of the next session.
Sure. Yeah. As far as the armor goes, Logrin's proposal would be to go to whatever Smith is in town to be like, you know, I want you to do this. Here's my plan. But he's also going to want to be a part of it because he is a stone carver. And he wants his craftsmanship to be a part of that. Man, artists love it when you commission something and then watch them do their work and tell them what they're doing. He wants to actively like. Oh, God. He wants to basically carve the channels in the stone armor where the adamantite is going to be added, you know? Okay.
There's some sick designs. Tribal on both arms. Oh, no. And some condoms. No fear. Gosh. This means soup. So you're up to 1,450 right now. So here's the ruling I'll make on this. You can amend this and add things to it as long as you're still in the city. The second you walk out that gate can't wreck on it. So we don't have to have a physical sit down where it's like, no, we do need to inform everybody out there listening. because, you know, they want to know. I mean, I want to know. All right. And of course, rations. Yeah, yeah, I always assume we're going for it.
Here we go. Here's the thing. Yeah, you guys don't hunt a lot. Yeah, we kind of stopped doing the travel. Travels activities. I haven't fucking traveled anywhere. You haven't busked in weeks. There's my busking. We've got to get instruments. I'm about to busk wizards. I'm about to bust. I'm going to bust. I just got a bust. Stop with the hand motion, Susan. God. I'm just going to say that. And whatever you guys imagine out there is the hand motion. That is leader of the mind. I'm going to say whatever you're a man. Imagine it's filthier than that. Yeah. Like, oh. Could be worse.
Could be like. Yeah. I am. Imagine milking a cow, but 10 times filthier. I will turn this car around. All right. Let's talk armor. That's a big job, right? And even if you're supplying the, the ore, like, God, do you know how hot you got to get a furnace? Like, it's a big, big job. Yeah, so that's what Logging leads with, right? He kicks the door and he's like, can you do Adamantite? Yeah, and you'll be turned away like nine times. Yeah. No. Like, so you're looking for someone who's kind of fancy. And not only, you know, can. Can you work with Adamantite? Are you willing to chisel into this one of a kind, you know, special armor without fucking it up?
Because you're looking to cut away 20% of it and replace it with Adam. So there's a risk of like, oh, I broke it. Like you don't, you know what I mean? So you get to pay a premium to like get somebody to alter that. Well, Logrin's going to do that part. And he expects a discount for his assistance. What do you know about? Like, here's the thing. Blacksmithing? Yes. But this is like... This is like... Okay. The first bunch of... I don't know if I want to say. That's too mean. The first bunch of blacksmiths, right? The first time you find somebody who can work with Adamantite, it's like, yeah, yeah, yeah, I think I know.
But like, it's like an AI artist. Do you know what I mean? Like... You know what I mean? You know what I mean? It is... They're not really making anything. So this would be them having the know how to work with it, work with it well, and infuse it into something that's already a creation of art. You know what I mean? So you're looking for a real specialist. Right. So it will be costly. And honestly, finding someone who's like, yeah, sure, come into my forge, start carving things. Like, you know. Let's see here. God. Your armor. Loggerne's not going to let them do it if he can do the carving.
Straight up is like, no, I'm a crack born. This is what I do. After the fifth or sixth turn around, turn away, like, we can't do this. Ruby would at least suggest at some point. Like, we could just, I mean, we could go back to the duerga. I mean, we could find a way it can't do it today. It's a trick. I don't want to go up there again, but maybe. Like, if nobody else can do it, that is the answer. Yeah. So I'm not saying that. I'm saying, can you give me a persuasion roll? Oh, okay. Can I assist? I would imagine, right? Like, anybody who's trained in it can assist.
Okay. Yeah, I'll assist. Okay. And I'm going to do plus one for teamwork. And here we go. Oh, no. I've offended him. What's the, what's the crit? Your attempt to flattery fails, falls flat. The target creature's attitude towards you decreases by one step. And so cut to outside the smithy shop, logger and bust out there. Well, fuck you too. Work sucks. I can't even believe I came in here. You're an AI artist. All this stuff sucks. It's great. The guy making a glove with six fingers on it. Like just trying to look at you. Okay. If I offended any AI artists out there, I'm glad.
There's no such thing. There's no such thing. I'm on your side. You can't defend an air artist because they don't exist. Anyway. Bree, you decide whether if that goes in the show. I don't know. I don't know. I say yes. But I think we're just going to change the price a little bit. So this armor with inflation is worth about $102,000. gold. It is valuable. So I would say these alterations you want to make are going to cost you 15,000. However, you are guaranteed to make this lighter. And we're going to roll on a table to see if we give it a little juz. There's no risk because you're paying a specialist.
There's no risk of us taking a specialist. anything away from the armor, except the weight. Is you going to let me help? Yes. That's part of the... So I imagine you walk in and it's like, man, I've never seen someone so ugly make such nice stuff. Like, whatever you said to piss this guy off. Like, whatever. But like, yeah, no, I would imagine like these are... You're getting everything you want. 15,000? 15,000. How much is? So a platinum is 10 gold? Yes. So I have 10,000 gold. I don't even have enough. ORA. Get over here. No, it's not where we're. No, forget it.
No. Price is too high. Wait. Platinum? It's... According to A5E is 500. Wait, what? No, it's 10. Well, it's definitely not how. I converted it when I made it. Okay. Yeah. We still have it. No, wait a second. Hold on. No, wait a minute. I do. I am rich. I don't think we have that much. I was about to say, there's no way you have 500,000. No way. I'd have to be insane. Insane for this very moment. Wait, that might be a more. If we include the gold. If we include the gold or Or a set, you know. Although there might be a few bribes to keep all the murders on the DL. But, you know, hey, we don't have it all with us.
But we have most of it with us. We'll get the rest of it to you when it's finished. How does that sound? You know, I would have thought the honor of working with that. A man type might be enough to bring the price down a little bit. But I guess just too good for that. So that sounds dangerously close to I'm paying you an exposure. I want you to know. I would have thought of the honor of. working with a little like that's not he's just he's just not going to spend that much he's too cheap to spend that much okay I get it that's the problem when you have something so like one of a kind and like good already you are in a price bracket where like if you want to do anything to it make it better it's going to be very expensive because like if you sold that right now you'd probably get around 60,000 gold well I mean now I'm thinking about because we have a 900 pound Rick of this.
That's what I was going to give him. Some of it. Yeah. Just for himself or herself. I don't know who's the Smith. Yeah, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just blue sky in here. I don't know. Yeah. I don't know. We can work it out. I don't want to take the rest of our time doing this. Okay. You know what? We'll, we'll text about it in the Frostborn chat and we'll get back to it. Cool. I want to say to, like, as we're doing, doing this just story wise. I am trying to ping Colgoth as much as I possibly can. You know, this is like. And yeah, and I'm trying. I'm looking for information about what this thing is, where I can find this thing in the city.
That's what I'm trying to. Okay. Look for. Give you flat T20, please. So we'd take a few tries. But eventually, you'd kind of feel that presence, right? What can I do for you? There's a bit of a oh you. Like that, you know what I mean? Like, he's a little cross, a little bit. Yeah. Well, I think we're. We need to have a chat. Maybe not right now, but we do need to figure out what happened. I need a little bit more information about that. And if you want me to pick up this thing somewhere here in Esther Holt, I need to know where and what it is. His tone is suddenly going to change, like a shift a little bit.
Well, that's reasonable. I'm glad you're finally being reasonable. How about this pumpkin? You and I get together tonight. open a bottle of wizard jiz. My favorite. And we'll hash all these differences out. Stop it, Susan. I wonder if that's even usable. I think we should. And I think you can. if you want to be really nice to me, there's something else that you can do. In exchange for getting this thing for you. Go on. My friend, ORA, is a bit of a scratch on her face. and I need that to be turned back the way that it was. When you say Orra's name, there's going to be the sound.
Just kind of a, just kind of like an intake of air. It's a bit of anger there. I'm not going to get her. her soul, am I? Afraid not. You're stuck with me. But I'm more than enough. Let's make a deal. I fix her face after what you did to her. And you... And you... Do a little air. I thought I was doing an errand. I don't mean next week or next month or when it's convenient. I want it tonight. Well, you'll have to be specific. You and I are going on a walk. Okay. I can do that. Well, then, take me to the girl. We're going to be heading there. And everyone's going to be there.
We're all going. And after I see that gets done, then we can have our chat in our walk. deal butterlips I love it when you call me that guys I think that's a good time for us I have got a good time for us I got to get a good shower it's a shame we don't do a video version of this podcast because all those scenes we haven't done it in a while But all those scenes are just to elicit responses from our friends. Just. Yeah. It's become that 100%. Whatever reverse gay chicken we're doing, like, I don't. I don't know what it is. Oh, my gosh. Nice. Okay. We got some good stuff. out of that.
Considering how it started. We're checking the list of here too. Yeah. Brie's going to yell at us. Me specifically. I think in like in the chat, there's going to be it's like, I got to edit this. Like there's going to be. I think it's wronged her. I think we made her chop tough. Right. Sorry, Bree. Ashley Susan. Well, you know me. Squeaky wheel. Yeah. We just do all our own fully live. Yes. Yeah. Everyone bring coconuts. That's a hook. Whoever's not in the scene has to be making sounds the entire time. Oh, that won't be distracting at all. Yeah. That's a good April Fool's episode.
That's.
