Road Rage
What Happens
The party works to flip the overturned Gearheart using a group skill challenge, then encounters a woolly mammoth during travel that attacks and nearly kills both Chimera and Logrhyn before Nythera delivers the killing blow. The dead mammoth is used to pull the Gearheart out of an ice pocket it fell into. The session ends with a Rod of Wonder result: one party member will believe everything is free for five days, kicking in when they reach Odysia.
Characters Present
Locations
Wilderness road between Esterholt and Odysia, Ice pocket (where the Gearheart got stuck), Elevated cliff road with ocean views
Notable Lore
The Gearheart handles like a boat -- slow to turn but fast in a straight line. Mammoth pelts and teeth have trade value; full stuffed mammoth could sell for ~1,000 gold. Yeti teeth can be ground into reagents useful in medicine and witchcraft. The Rod of Wonder table is a real mechanic in play. Chimera attempted to communicate with Jesse (trapped soul in the Gearheart) via Arcana -- failed but received a faint impression he's okay. Ruby has a deep emotional/maternal attachment to the Gearheart and to Jesse.

Let's do that thing. We go around the table and introduce ourselves. I'm Jason on the dungeon master. Going around the table. It is a few days before Therathorathon, and I am at my wits end. There's so much prep. Go on the table. Starting with Jameson. I'm Jameson. I play locker and crack, more, he's a dwarf and Marshall. Here we go. I was expecting schick. And Ian. Hey, I'm Ian. Heim, Eni. I play chimera, the Tifling Warlock. Let's go. And Jasper? Hey, everybody. I am Jasper. He-him. I play Ruby Petigrew, the Half-Hork, Gearslinger, Adept, and we're going. I can certainly not least Susan.
Hi, I'm Susan Spanator. My pronouns are she-her. And I'll be playing nice here are Rialith, the Elven Rogue Assassin. And Jameson, you need to remember to put the dryer on. That's true. All right. I saw you write that down earlier. I didn't know it was for schick. Excellent. Excellent. And if you like Driers, Behind the scenes, on our country, you know, we broke down our top 10 favorite drivers. Thank you, Susan. You're welcome. I had a sticky note for you. I didn't start it. Don't throw that sticky note away. Okay, I'll hear it back up. I only said it. Today, guys, we're kicking things. off by flipping over the uh or attempting to to flip over the gear heart here so I'm going to do a nice group bonding exercise now you guys don't don't get out much anymore and travel you're pretty much city folk after whole city folks to be to be specific live there for a good decade plus so a day or two it feels like that.
So these guys are called group skill checks. And it pretty much hinges on, you know, most of you succeeding to accomplish a task. And if you do, you get an XP bump. If you don't, then we have to deal with that and kind of work our way out. Now, those of you out there might think, well, it's a given that they're going to flip this over. It is not. This is a big, heavy some bitch. And I bet there are a couple of different ways to tackle this. You could either give me an athletics check. Just a flat out. Like, let's just try and roll it over. Do you ever watch the movie, The Replacements?
Oh, yeah. With Keanu Reeves. Yes, I, yeah. His truck gets rolled over a couple times in that movie. And it looks effortless when you have linebackers flip it over. I'm going to guess that. A bunch of chimeras, it's going to be a little more difficult. Like, you know. Well, you get enough of them. Right. Again, yeah. Could you beat up 30 children? It's kind of like, you know. So we can do athletics and that's fine. However, if you have another skill that you can make an argument for, that would make sense, I will hear it now, please. I mean, you hear it now. We're hearing arguments now.
Your honor. I would guess engineering. If you're talking fulcrum and stuff. A thousand percent. And I think between I mean, this goes back for a long time here. Ruby and Logrin. Yeah, when the fulcrum was invented. Probably. Right. Like, why Logrin? I think Logrin did it. Right after he finished figuring out joists. A few joists. We keep that. We tip over again. Ruby and Logrin, this would be, this would be, this. This is their thing. This is where they would have had probably thousands of arguments about how to how to best flip over a thing probably before. I think it's a matter of which one of us is already working on the problem by the time the other one gets there, right?
Yeah. If all of us are necessary for this skill check challenge, I will argue for Nithera, investigation. Here's how I'm looking at investigation and says, investigation is used for actively searching for clues, gathering information, or experimentation and research. So experimenting with how to hook up the ropes onto the ceiling, so you get the best, like, leverage or something. The most effective way to do it. It says experimentation and research is part of investigation. I like that Jason was like, I'll hear your arguments. And the second season... I will hear them.
I will hear them. I'll see a little bullshit face in the first. the world. He's like, that's dumb. I will say what I say to Luna or Pippin where they do something like it and say big stretch. And then we'll just... Special piece is deciphering in forensics. Trap fighting. Right. That's to figure out. Like, if you're walking up, it's like, there's your problem. It's upside down. Like, we'll get to the bottom of the mystery. I agree. Or I can find some like hook on the. the inside where the rope would best attach to. What? Let me ask you a question. What's your investigation score?
Four. Okay, you're fine. I thought it's like a nine or some nonsense. Okay. So, whatever you decide, okay, Ian, you're looking at me like you still have one. I got to have more argument. I was thinking just a exception. And I was just going to gaslighted into being up right again. And I was thinking deception in that I was going to pretend to be doing a lot of effort. Really like putting my weight into it. And they've been like, oh yeah, we're almost there. Everyone, good job. And just like not doing much at all. You know what? I love that. So yes. So it's like the, um, Oh, a sugar pill, a placebo effect.
We feel like he's helping. Yes, it actually helps. All right. So that being said, there's one person actually pushing on the side of this to flip it over and like three. Okay, good. Got it. Got it. Got it. All right. Well, then. I guess. Jameson, if you want to follow the instructions and then we'll have a lot of improv and just we'll see if we'll look at for 15 or higher. Give me an athletics check with 15 or higher. What am I doing an athletics for? What are you doing? Engineering. I'm not going to just fucking push on it. There's going to be some thought here.
I think if anybody came up to try to push the gear heart over, I think Ruby and Logren separately would be like, no, no, no, no, no, no, do, do, do, da, da, da, we were not. You think these two weak-ass and level eight strength, people would try that. I will. I can justify an athletics check. It's fine. I'm sorry. I flew off the handle. I apologize. I'm used to it. I try my best to keep it at the show. It's fine. I'll send you a message after this. It'll be okay. I just get so mad, baby. I'll give you a call. We'll talk about it. Don't ever embarrass me like this again.
I don't ever embarrass me like this again. So I think before we can do an engineering check. Jason, come back. It speaks to something deep inside of me that like some list are out there is going to think you hit me. Like it's a very, like it's an abusive thing. It's like there's a reason he's not live at Theratheathon guys. There's a reason. Sorry. Go ahead. For meeting a week after and I'm going to have to talk about some things. So, yeah. So before we can perform an engineering check, we need to get a prepped. So we need to dig out snow around it. We need to hook up like, you know, a lever and a fulcrum and all the stuff we were talking about in ropes.
So that's all going to take a physical amount of exertion that I would justify with an athletics check to try to get it all set up. I wasn't going to fight you on it. It's not. It's not good. Yeah, but it's the distinction between he just hits it like a linebacker or we do or he's doing work. You know. There is a, look, there's a certain amount of skill of pushing him. polling. Like, I think that that, like, you know, yeah, but that way. My initial objection is that that wouldn't have been as approach. But there would be an athletics check involved with all the prep work to the engineering check essentially.
Okay. I, that's, uh, yeah. So everyone, the DC's 15. Whatever you're throwing, let's one at a time throw it. Let's start with James. Please. Let's look. Okay. So I will point out first, just to belabor this a little bit further. Great. that I have two knacks as a marshal that are directly applicable here. I have team tactics, which means if we're all working together on a role, we all get plus one on the role for every other person involved in the role. Oh. And secondly, I have one other one called teamwork. When you're involved in a group check, all members of the check gain an expertise die.
So we should be. As long as we're doing everything together, operating at, D4 plus three for all of these roles. What? Yeah. All right. So now, now, normally, the way these work is, it's just based off of you. This is the only time in the game where when we do these group check challenges, like, let's say there's a rope bridge and you guys got across it. It is only based on your skills, not no stacking. You can't use things like, oh, here's Bartik inspiration. Here's that. So it's the only time at the gate. But for this specific thing, it's, but for this specific thing, it's your car flipped over and you're stranded on the side of the road.
It is different than, oh, it's a hail storm. Let's find cover. I need someone to give me a survival check, that type of thing. So this is different. I'm going to say that. So use all your buffs that you have. Well, yeah, because like there's no reason why you three would stand around and just watch logger and do this part. And we would stand around and watch the next person do it, right? So we'd all be doing it together. Yeah. Or pretending to do it together. One of us will be pretending. Okay. So I'm going to pull up athletics here and do this. And I get advantage also.
Sure. Just tell me what you think you wrote. You know, he's going to be modest and say 16. Yeah, that's a good humble response, right? So, oh, all right, well, that's what I get. We got a 16 on the roll, actually. Oh, shit. You wrote a five and got a 16. To tell you that I'm psychic. Thanks for, thanks for pulling that one out of the ether for me. We got a 16 on that athletics check. All right. Jasper, you want to give me a roll, please? Sure do. I'm going to do engineering. I got expertise to that right, Jameson. You do get a D4 for teamwork, plus three. Plus three.
How do I add a plus three? Situational modifiers plus three? Yeah. This one you could argue, if it's only Logger in Ruby doing the engineering, that it would only be a plus one. I'm going to do a plus one. I think that's fair because I actually already have an expertise on top of my engineering because I have engineering as a big old thing. So I got a D6 coming to me. So I'll just add a plus one. I think that's fair. We'll see what happens. All right. Here we go. 17. Susan calling it. 16. You also wrote a 5 and got a 16. So this is why, and this is why I'm just going to say normally, when you're crossing a rope bridge, this is why we don't stack things because these things become trivial.
But it's supposed to be a little trivial because this is kind of the adventuring equivalent of getting a flat tire. Right? a little bit. Yeah. It's not life for a situation. We're all just standing there trying to figure out the best way to flip it. Yeah, we could take our time if we need to. Well, you could definitely freeze to death. I forgot about the freezing to death part. See, that's the problem. I got to make it more uninhabitable. Yeah, there is technically not that deadly. You're right. I can be holding fire too. I could be making fire, like reducing flame just to keep up.
She is also ex-pulously. We take the teamwork class, like the group project class. Yeah. But one of you is actively lying about doing teamwork. I think we all know. Yeah, yeah. So, Susan, give me a nice area's role, please. Shoot for a 15. So no, here is to look over some of these connections and be like, oh, well, and this is the only way she would interrupt Ruby's, be like, like, I think you'd have a better leverage here, like, after it's been hooked up to be like, okay, this, so that's how I'm doing an investigation. I'm like, looking at it going in. Okay.
Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. 19. Uh. Uh, bu, but, but, but, but, but As long as you lie real good, I guess. It's fine, Ian. Go ahead. Does you get like a plus 28 or something? I have a D8 expertise, guys. So that goes up to a D10 with the team. That is a big D. That is a pretty sizable D. Honestly. I'm here's got a pretty big D for deception. D for deception. D for deception. It's the only thing it means. And yeah, I think like when it comes time to like, like put the muscle in, you know, and like everyone's heven and hoen. Yeah, he's, he is making a big theatrical thing about it and like and encouraging everyone to like, you know, like, oh, we got it.
I think we're, I think we're doing it. We're doing it. Good job, everyone. But he is like, make, he is just not putting. He's not even next to us. He's over on the other side of fire. Filing his nails. All right, give me the roll. There we go. What? Oh. That's 14. You could not have had more of an advantage. It's a success, but at what cost? That wasn't. I was it. You guys succeeded, but man, A couple of dirty looks thrown this way. Yeah, we all. Yeah, I definitely think it's one of those things. Everyone's like, God damn it. Come here. Through my back out. You don't get more.
And I'm going like, oh, ah, good work out, right, everyone? You need a break. Why don't you take a little to see? Yeah, I do. I worked up a sweat. Yeah. Just hand me the drink, please. Yeah. You have any water? Just watching with his hands on his fist and just like, chooses a little bit. Snacks? Do we have any questions? Who? A little bit of jerky. You may be telling. Who would like to give me a travel die? I think I gave us Yeti. How busted up is the car? So we rolled for the damage done to it, basically. It is, there's dense and dinks, right? Oh, okay. It's built for being sturdy, not for collision testing.
So it's not a bunch of fiberglass and stuff where it's going to, you know, the windshield bust out and everything. But that being said, the most delicate piece in the machine is what you have to worry about the most. And more stuff like that happens, the greater the odds that, you know, that goes thermonuclear, right? So to that end, before we flip it over, Ruby would, before any of that happened, Ruby was like, I'm checking this thing out. She's because she's got easy access to the underneath. She's going to be checking things out, making sure that things are okay.
Before they flip it over, so that it flips over safely, so that it lands without there being any additional damage. Maybe it doesn't even like balance. It's just like, boom, right? And it just perfectly lands on the ground. She's going to do a complete once over before anything happens, very lovingly to the gear heart. Number one. There is no number two. Yeah. Oh. I kind of want to, since we're like really working with the Gearheart and touching it and around it, while all this is going on, I kind of want to like ping it and see if I can listen for Jesse if that makes sense.
Like, see if I can get anything out of that. I can you get a religion check maybe? Or. Or. Arcana? That makes sense? So, okay, let me ask you a question. Are you trying to communicate? Or are you trying to just kind of figure out what sort of magic has been used to? You know what I mean? Like, I would say. Kahn is more investigating the. Okay. So that is a long shot. We can use Arcana, but it would be like an 18 or 19. It would be tough because, yeah. So okay. Give it to me. Let's try. Is there something that would be less of a long shot to try and communicate? Is that, would that be a religion or what is just trying to communicate in this way would be a long shot?
Overall. Religion would be slightly less because you're actually. So you're almost like leaning on the divine to try and get to a lost soul. You know what I'm saying? Like this person isn't in the afterlife. They're trapped. People have used that in cases like suits of armor that have been enchanted and stuff like that. Like even war forged that have been paralyzed, like their bodies no longer worked. But the soul still trapped in the inanimate up body. So like it's been used for stuff like that too. Susan, please. Your thoughts. I'm curious. Would that be more? difficult for chimera.
That's what I was just going to say is I think I'll, I think if you let me, I'll just do Arcana at a higher check because I don't think Kimera has any idea about religion, any experience at all, regardless of what the actual modifier is. Like, that's just not his thing. That's not his real house. So I'll do the Arcana at a higher difficulty check if that's okay. Yeah. Yeah. Let me try that. Oh, okay. What? Yeah. That's a three for a total of six. Everyone looks at religion as being pious or holy. You're still tapped into religion just the opposite end of it.
You literally have a baby on board that's a demon, right? Like, it's still a religious thing. Yeah, it's true. It's true. It is. It's part. of religion. Demons and, you know, packs and stuff like that. Warlocks have more to do with religion than say a fighter most of the time. Like it's, you know, you're still in, you're still, you speak to a portion of the pantheon, like a small, you know, so it's not as far out there as you think. It's just, you know, you know, I follow you. Yeah. Anywho, no, that's that's six. Yeah. Forget it. He's just staring at the car real hard.
I'm sorry, he's staring at the Gearheart real hard. Like, it's crunch in his brow sort of like. No. No. Right from right behind you. Because Ruby's paying a lot of attention to the Gearheart. She would, you think he's okay at all? Yes. I think he's doing fine in there, you know, as fine as one can be. I hope so. He got his bell rung pretty hard back there. I hope he's okay. I think so. That's what I'm getting. It's very low. It's very, very subtle, very small. That's what I'm kind of getting. Yeah. Okay. Nice. Thank you for trying. And as soon as Ruby turns away, he just turns back and, like, pressing his hands.
Yeah. Just like screaming. Yeah. We just hear like, Oh! Oh! Seriously. He's fine. Just some sort of noise. I can hear anything because of this noise. Yeah. You can hear about screaming. I'm sure he'd be fine. Yeah. Some kind of screaming. Yeah. I'm sure it's relating. Y'all ready to get back on the road? Yes. I think she's good. Or he. Are they... Is there anything we can take off of this? I mean, we're coming away with quite the smell, but anything else that we can take away. I thought they smelled bad on the outside. You want to get sued? Well, I mean, I've pretty much given all the blood to the car as I shovel another thing of snowy blood.
Stop. She's like, stop it. Do you see the sizzle? It's accepting it. That doesn't mean that it's helping him. Well, it's, we have to sit in it is the thing. I mean, it's gone. The blood's gone. Do you see that? He's a thirsty boy. Is there such a these yety poised? I just love the idea. And it's like, yeah, it's just, it's just melting. Like, it's just snow and it's hot. I don't know so many superstitions about this. Be like, hear that. That was him saying he's hungry. Like, oh, no. There's all this made up shit about what Jesse thinks about any given moment. Yeah.
I did roll a 21 survival check to see if there's anything worth hacking. can offer this Yeti before we get on the road. Oh, well. So, uh, yeah, look, people will pay for the pelt. It is one of those things is like this is a certified Yeti pelt. It's like, that's pretty cool. It's not going to sell for an exceptional amount. You'll probably get like a hundred and fifty gold for it. That's, that's pretty, you know, like for a regular person, that would be like, You know, if you could take the entire carcass and stuff it, some loser will absolutely pay to have it in their shop or something like that holding up beef jerky or whatever the fuck to advertise.
Like they will definitely like, you know what I mean? Like they'll probably pay like a thousand gold for the entire body. Does they have like horns or anything? Oh, it's got teeth. Teeth can be used. They can be ground up for, you know, regents and stuff like that. Some of it's superstition. Some of it's actually useful in medicine. If you find a witch, they will definitely take those yety teeth. Definitely. All right. Logrin's getting in there. He's got his hatchet and his work back out. Somebody gave me a bag. Yep. Ruby's here you go. Yeah. Ruby's got one open ready for you to dump whatever you have in there on the gear heart.
It stinks pretty bad. Just on extracting yety teeth for a little bit. Yeah. We'll take as much of the pelt as he can. without getting it, 10, any of the parts that were blown off. Oh, yeah. Yeah, that's the problem. Yeah, there's a pretty, you know what? Do me a favor? Give me a survival check for skinning. Hmm. Just kind of skinny. The teeth will come out one way or the other. That's not bad. 14's fine. Like, again, this was not pristine. You put a pretty big hole in the sternum of this thing. So like, yeah, you'll get. You'll get as much of the pelt as you can. can.
Yeah, something like that. Yeah. The thing was huge, right? It was huge. Yeah. It's probably super warm too. Considering that it survives in cold weather, so it's probably like once you dry out. Yeah. It's probably pretty awesome. So we bumble that up, we strap it to the roof. We get a bag full of teeth and we hit the road. Yeah, make a kikaroo or some shit. Like, you know, some will buy that. Uh, Jasper, give me a survival. Sorry. Let me a travel die roll. I will. It's a D100. Yep. It is. Here we go. 26. 26. 26. We discussed this. You guys are traveling in days of three.
Correct? Yes. Yes. Correct. All right. We got quite a distance to travel. One day at a time, we take us eight years. It's true. So we're going to jump to the third day of you traveling. You are about halfway there now. So it is, it's a long trek and you guys are kind of avoiding snow drifts and and stuff like that. And this is going to bring up another little skill check challenge, guys. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Me. Isn't it the third of a new month? It is. It is. You finally get out of a do. Oh, what's the nice one? How did I get to the party viewer? I don't know. What did you do?
I don't know, but apparently we can see our whole party now in our skills and languages and resources and wealth. That's cool. That was what you're supposed to be. You're supposed to be. Whatever I found. Don't look at me. I'm not ready. You could see that Kimera has the most wealth out of everyone. Like it's, you know. So it is the third of a mother. So here's what we're going to be doing. The way this normally works, there is a lot of stuff on foot and on horseback that can happen. You guys are in a unique situation because you're in a vehicle, like the first motorized vehicle.
That being said, it handles like a boat. It is slow to turn. Like, you're moving pretty quick in a straight line. But it's not meant for handling, you know? So it's going to kind of take all of you rocking back and forth to avoid sharp things that appear quickly and sharp turns, right? So do you remember speed the movie? Do you remember when another Keanu? I don't know why Keanu's coming up so much tonight. But, you know, like people had to get on one side. of the bus to kind of, you know, counter the weight. So that's kind of what we're doing right now, right?
So we're going to be getting you guys to give me some dexterity saving throws. And we are avoiding ice pockets. These ice pockets are a bit too thin, you're guessing, to support the car's weight. And underneath is obviously water. And we definitely don't want to have this thing go swimming. So we're looking for a dexterity saving throw of 14 or higher. We'll start with Jasper. Okay. I mean, Ruby's going to be calling out this as a problem. It's almost like turbulence up ahead kind of a thing. This has probably happened a few times in their journeys so far, but here we are.
So she's going to be calling the shots, oh, to the left or to the ride or whatever. Bounce up and down. Who cares? Here we go. This time. Yeah, a deck saving theory, you said. That's what I said. All right, just making sure. Okay. Well, just fairly. 13. 13. Uh, Susan. Yes, sir. My theory is good at this. Well, now that you've said that, we'll see. We'll see. The vibes out. Okay. Tex. Saving throw. Let's go. Oh. I guess that is unfortunate. Wait, I don't think I do saving throws. One second. I think I could do ability checks. Oh. Saving throw. I do. I can. I can. I need a fate point.
I have three. So that is a two for a total of seven. Let's try to. to maybe double that. Let's see. Let's hope. That's a seven for a total of 12. You can't re-roll the same role several times, can you? Choose one of the D20 rolls in D20 and re-roll it. But I do have inspiration, I guess. I don't want us to fail. We need three successes. Yeah, because we've had one failure. Yeah. Nobody can fail. Well, that's going to be a problem. I got nothing. I am. That is a total of 13. It was going up incrementally. I would eventually get there. Janison, your logger's pretty dexterous or at least weighty.
Maybe we could get like. Yeah. So Loggerin's just going to go no, like this. Hey. Oh, wow. Yeah. Yeah. What did it do that? I don't know. A D6. Is you waiting? Bring it up again. Does it have it checked off? It's just selected by default. I don't know why with the default minus one to my I give me a D6 expertise. I don't think. I hate to say it because I did meet the threshold. I don't think I should have a D6. Well, I rolled three on that. So if you take that away from me, I got an 11. Well, I would at least like to track that back and figure why. I mean, I'm going to call it table before.
Because none of my other saves have a default D6 on them. If you go to do it again, it should tell you where the formula is coming from in that screen before you know. So what if I mouse over it? Like if you go to click it and then not. If the pop-up comes up, it should tell you why. No, it just says visibility mode, public role, role mode, normal, expertise died, D6, situation, and modifiers is blank. It's all it says. D20 minus 1 plus 1D6. No explanation offered. One moment. Maybe you take a feet to make a faster. I don't think I did. And I don't think I would have chosen one to help my dexterity role.
Maybe it's just got clicked. Because I had to set that up for my deception. I set up doing an expert piece. Yeah, I'm trying to think of any. situation in the past where I would have turned it on manually. That's weird. But I can't remember how I said it up. Ian? Yeah. We're really trying not to have a crit fail. So we need you to succeed, please. Well, I've got a minus two to dexterity. So I don't know how we're going to do that. Unless, baby. Because, Kimmerin knows he's not dexterity. But I mean, maybe he knows based off what like Ruby is saying and stuff, he could make like a survival check.
This one's got to be. It's, it's got to be a dexterity save. Okay. I know. All right. Then here we go. That's why I was trying to prep you guys. The last one was very loose. Yeah. Go on. This is going to be like an 18. You're going to roll an 18. I'm sure. I'm sure. 18. Here we go. I'm telling you. We go. It's part of an 18. Okay. That is a digit from an 18. All right. Okay. You got anything to use to do it again? No. Can Ruby give inspiration? Then I'll give you my inspiration. Oh. Okay. That might be wasted. I'm afraid to say. I'm afraid to say. I'm afraid to say. It's better than crit failure.
Yeah. Okay. Go for you. One more again. Thank you. This is the 18. This is it. This is it. That's a one. That's more a one. Can I just take it? Can you give me that back? Because I was my way. If you're done with that, I would like to. I get it back. If you're going to treat it like that, I'll just take it. Yeah. I thought you appreciated it. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Okay, well, here's what's going to happen. You're not going to miss that ice pocket. And the front of the gear heart is going to just kind of break through. There's a good news, bad news. Here. The good news is the ice pocket was shallow enough that the entire Gearheart doesn't go care.
It is going to get wed. a bit. So the back end of the gear heart is going to be up. And then the front half is kind of submerged in ice water. And there's like jagged bits of of surrounding like ice pocket that have kind of. Now, that did make a lot of noise. And while you're trying to like you're all in the gear heart kind of like. elevated like you're you're you're you're you're gonna feel this rumbling and can everybody just give me give me give me a nice little like perception check please I wonder if I can use my passive. Because my roles aren't great.
You know what? I'm just going to use my passive 18. Yeah, I'm sticking with passive. I'm not even going to try it. I'm hoping these roles improve tonight. So we got a 13 for Ruby, a 7 for Kimera, and 11 for Lugrin, and then a passive 18. Let's just lean on that. There's a mammoth bearing down on you. And it is... Dex saves to get through this fucking ice so he doesn't go through... Yeah, he's... How is a... Way five gear hearts or something at least. Well, this is... Well, this is... I'm coming up behind. Like, I think it's more like... What is that? I don't like it.
Like, it... You know what I mean? Like, it's just... It's, you know, so I'm going to get... I just want him to follow the same rules as all. What he gets to you, maybe, yeah. Maybe, yeah, be like, get sunk, fucker. Here, I'm just going to throw this map so that maybe we can... Hey, I recognize this map. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Whoa, cool. All right. Can you see this map? I can see the map yet. Awesome. Okay. There's a map in the room with us now. I wasn't with us the whole time. And before our friend Ryan tells me, yes, I realized that I could have used practice edge after it.
I leave this in for him, Brie. I could have succeeded. Why make Ryan's ego bigger? You know? Do we need that as a team? Because he would hit me up afterwards, be like, you know that you use practice. But now I do. Yes. I really actually hits me up personally about your mistakes. He doesn't, I don't know if he hits you up about that. Like it's usually it's like, he hits all of us out. Why is she on the main team and I'm on home front is what he says. And we all hear about it. Yeah. Yeah. We have a group chat. Oh, my gosh, I get it. It's called Susan's mistake. Yeah.
You have a meeting after this. If you guys want to right click on yourselves, toggle your combat state and roll. I don't know. We need a druid. What the fuck? Hey, where are these roles? Well, not not Kymirah and not Logrin. The other ones are okay. 50% is not bad. Oh, shit. Oof, mammoth going dead last. Ruby. All right. Well, due to initiative being rolled, she's going to activate quick draw. so I can use my reaction to draw a weapon and make a ranged attack with it. So a pre-attack attack. As soon as she sees this thing barreling at them, she's going to be, of course, like, again, like, could just just please just get, she's getting mad at everybody.
Like, could go to the left one. I say she's going to see this thing barreling down on them. And she's just going to try with her wrist belister really quick. And here we go. Oof. Oof, not good. That's a 12. That is going to miss. Do you guys want to maybe meet up another time when the dice rolls are better? Our rules last game were pretty awesome. So I guess it's just, you know, Dice God's balancing this is. Yeah, we're balancing it. Oh, Wednesday night was much more, it. It felt more drunk fun. Yeah. And that's still we've got to. We need a weird Wednesday energy.
Or just to do this drunk, I think. That's the solution. Drunk Sundays. Drunk Sundays. Woo! Well, wait a minute. That was just my, that was pre. I know what it was. I know what it was. I went. Going back to it. I didn't skip you. There we go. All right. She's going to run up beside this thing as it's barreling it down. She's going to go up to the side as it's coming towards. And as she does it, she's going to hit a another. Rispalista shot. Ringshot. Ending where she is now. From next to it? No, as she's running towards it, she's going to do another thing. And here. Sorry, I'm doing them a little out of order here.
Apologies. Okay. No? Fine. Hey, that hit. That's better. All right. I'll leave it at that. Boom. Eight damage. you don't get another attack? You know. I'm not offering it. I believe it. No. Yes, I do. And I'm going to do another one. It wasn't like, would you like a pastry? Like, no, it's coming. You did it. You earned it. I'm going to. I forgot. It's been so long. There we go. That's not terrible. It's been since Wednesday. Yeah, but I haven't done that since Wednesday. Okay. Well, that's 20. No, sorry. 22, that hits and that is six damage. Fantastic. I'll leave. I will leave it at that.
She's doing this as she's running over there to sort of flank this thing as much as she can. Get out of its way a little bit and also maybe distract it. She's going to be shooting these things off. Nice. Theory. You're up. Oote. Okay. So I think this is as far as... I could get, yeah, 30. Yeah. Okay. Nitha is going to run up on it too. No flanking, but I will get sneak attack because there's another enemy within five feet of the mammoth. So Niterra is going to activate her lightsaber. And then I am going to use my maneuver, one of my maneuvers, to do perplexing flurry, which gives me two attacks, and then gets disadvantage on attack rolls against me until the start of my next turn.
But first, she's going to attack with the mind blade. So that's a light saber. So this purple blade springs into life and she goes to stab the mammoth. Does 18 hit? Yes, it does. Definitely. That will do 14 damage. So that's her main hand attack. Then her offhand attack, which is the assassin's gauntlet coated in black blade. Well, 18 hit before, so I think it'll hit again. No, actually, no. 15 piercing damage and nine poison damage. So with her left hand, a blade, the silver blade actually pops out of her gloves, and then she goes to stab with that. And then as the mammoth rears up for her means, stabs.
Twice. She's going to use that distraction to hit again, and that's a perplexing flurry. Twenty-two to hit and fifteen damage. I was not targeting any of those times. I'm so sorry. I took care of it. It's fine. I had an idea I knew who you were targeting. Like, I took a stab at it. I know what I feel. Your friend Ryan will tell me about it later. You need to stop talking to that guy. I'm telling you. He is not. He might not be your friend, Ryan, is what I'm saying. Like, you know, uh, well, guess what? That is a lot of fucking damage. This perturbed Pacaderm is going to rage.
Uh, and it is going to charge. And it is going to charge straight through you. Uh, I'm going to need you to give me a dexterity saving throw. and it is going to move right up to chimera and try to gore. So it is, yeah, I know. You didn't do anything. It is just, yeah. I just saw red, literally. Yeah, and body start dropping, you know. He's got like, yeah. Who needs to do the decks save? Just. Oh, nice. That damage. Nice. Okay. So here's how this works. I'm a little sorry right off the bat, Ian, for this, because you did nothing. Oh. So here's here. So it's going to do a Gore attack straight through, right?
It is 3D10 damage, but you're going to dodge and take half damage. So it is just the it. Bo, bo, bo, bo, boom, you know, being a big old elephant. It went through Nythera Square. That's why I did a deck saving through. Yes. That's it. So the listeners know who's this happening. Yes. There's a weird spread. So, 57 damage. Right? Okay. And then this is gonna. Oh, boy. Let's hope it rolls low against Kimera. 10 gets at 20. 20 to hit? Yeah, that hits. I'm sorry. So that is 19 piercing damage and I need you to give me a strength saving throw of 18 or higher. Oh, those are.
Is that physically possible? It is. It's possible. I'd have to get a 20 to get it. You're saying there's a chance. Yeah, there's a 5% chance that I make this. If you hit it in the chat, it'll. Ooh, I'm still 15 or 20. Well, that's a zero. A total. So that is going to knock you prone, sadly. But that's the end of it doing a big old tantrum. Not good. Right next to the werewolf wound. Just like, come on! He's collecting the set. I'm going to ruin this creature for just a second. Can we all zoom in. to its terrible wig. This mammoth has a bad English 70s wig. And I don't like it.
And it bothers me. That's all. It's trying something out, Jason. It's a little insecure. Well, it's a lot of insecure. It should be, though, like a little bit. Like for that. Like, just. I can highlight those eyes. Anything else? Right? That's a strange. Anything else for another era? Oh, that's still my turn. Oh, that's right. No, I did. Bonus action. I'm going to dip my weapon in more black blade. All right. There we go. Bonus action. It's going to kick chimera in the ribs. Oh, no. No. So unnecessary. It's going to see. It's like, oh, yeah? Oh, yeah. Oh. Damn. All right. Well, I'm going to take, I'm going to take my bonus action to rapid escape so that I can disengage from this thing and move the cock away from it.
Could you paint a picture because I picture you getting on all fours and just scramble away? Like I don't know what it looks like. And I think that's very accurate. I think he like, he gets gourd and he's just like, ah, and tries and like pulls himself off and tries to do like a cool role like towards Lagerand. But it's like, uh, oh. Like I've done. It was literally half your help. strike. Yeah. You're just going to go. I know. So yeah, he's going to back up and let's see. And I'm prone, right? So. Yeah. So if you spend half your speed to stand up, then you're fine.
Yeah. So if I do that, 15, that should get me. Let's see. Behind lagrin. Behind logren. That's where I want to be. So, yeah. Stan, and I, but I do crawl behind Logrin and then stand up. You try to get through his legs and realize there's actually not enough space between his legs to the ground. Oh. Oh. Uh, all right. And then I am going to try and do a fireball on this on this bad boy. Jesus Christ. But somewhere in like, this vicinity so that I don't hit my allies. I'd say this one's a little tough because you're, they're on both sides. Yeah. So, so somewhere somewhere nearby.
So the radius is I can tell you if you need, but I'm pretty sure I if I hit it around here, it'll be okay. As long as it covers most of the token. Oh, yeah, yeah. Yeah. It should. I just imagine the crawling and then this standing up and just like a fling of fireball. Yeah, I think it's a 20 foot so we can just do something like something like that. So like right there, you know. Yeah, a little. Yeah, it's fine. We got it. We got it. We got it. We got it. I like that. That's a deck saving throw. That is a problem because it is a mammoth. I mean, uh, let me throw it in the here in the thing because I can't I can do this.
So let'll be the damage and it should give you a little deck saving thing to click on it. there. Oh, this. So okay, now the tables are turned because I have a negative one. And I have to roll 18 or higher, I believe, to get this is not great. Yeah, no, 17. Yeah, you have to do 17 because that would be there. Oh, no, I was like, well, I rolled a 14. So that's not. That's a 13. And I'm going to eat all that fire damage, baby. So big fire burst goes off. God, so much load. All around. Yeah, and I think like Kamera throws it against the side of the side of the of this lip here.
So it like, it, it explodes and like rock and debris and fire blow out against this mammoth named Jameson. Mammoth. Mammoth named Jemison. Oh, no, that was this curse or cursor on it. Sorry, never mind. It's the first of his name Jameson. Wait a minute. I was wondering it's like, what? What is, is. Okay. I will say that fire is within millimeters of your friends like that that does land it's like so they're going to feel the heat it's like a stunt show at six flags like they're going to they're going to feel that heat come out as way more than that deserve so that that brings up All right.
Yeah, so I don't. Logren. He's got like eight things he's wanted to say since this started and hasn't. And it's just not. So he's just going to, he's swearing and dwarven. He's going to walk up five feet here. He's going to plant his tower shield. There's a free action. And he's going to rack his shotgun. Just the old shotgun. Well, it's raging, thankfully. So we're gonna. Yeah. It won't be like the Yeti. Yeah. We get a D4. No, they're not, because they're not within melee range of it, right? So for flanking. Oh, they're a little back. Yeah. That's okay. I get expertise dies when I don't want them.
I don't get some when I want some. I'm trying to find the setting that tells me when it's double-barled and I don't see it. So I'm just going to fire both barrels. Because that's the default. Okay. So here we go. Oh, Jesus. Oh, my God. Oh. There was a one, though. Oh, there's only one barrel went off that time. What the fuck, table? Well, that was a one. Both barrels are. Both barrels go off. Oh, it's one attack from both barrels. I got it. Okay. Yeah. Because the other way, it's like, that makes no sense because you're this, you know. So. So. Do you have inspiration or?
Do I have inspiration? It'll be bright blue at the top if you do. No, I do not. Well, let's see if that rolls on our critmiss table. I don't think, I don't think that was a critmiss on the gun, though. It looks like it was a critmiss on the saving. I was on the strength saving throw. Yeah. Oh, you're right. But I don't know if that's a thing. Yeah. The shot rolled a six. You're right. You're right. And the... That does miss. Yeah. And it blasts you back. And you're... So you're just prone. That's all. Bush. Smash. Yeah. He's swearing louder and dwarven now. Everybody knocked it down.
Somehow we missed a whole mammoth. I don't know. I don't know how. Oh, you can't hit a bar. It moved its leg. What's your excuse? I'm fine. All right. So as a bonus action, I'm going to mark foe. And then for the other half of my attack, I'm going to commanding presence and tell Ruby to shoot it. Ruby. Okay. I love the idea, like, of Mark. foe happening after the missed shotgun blast. And then you stand up, you're like, like, you're like, framing it and you're thinking, it's like, now I got it. Now I got, now I got, now I've marked it. See, that giant thing in front of me.
Right there. It makes sense, though, narratively, for Logrin to miss something, it'd be like, that you're mine now. Like, that's it. You made me imagine. Someone else hit it. Yeah. Oh, you know what? I don't think I can have you do it because it's a 24 radius. Oh, one. Can I have my theory or do it? Nope. That's 35 for me. Oh, am I? 10, 15. No, everybody's out of it. I can have to Camara do it. Camara. He's in great shape. Let me just get your thumbs up. Whatever you did, do it again. It's very elusive. Uh, to be fair, he did. just hit this general area like you know all right fireball again just got more again oh wait wait wait wait wait yeah I think it has to be an attack action I think you just get to throw an extra fireball this is what I did for our Duregore for the king that we looked this up because it was like because that I that was my question like is it a spell or do I really do you hang on yeah and then yeah let me read be a spell But can you cast a spell twice in one round?
Yeah, as long as you have points for it. So the way commanding presence works, 20 foot radius, when I take the attack action, I can choose to forego one attack because I did one of my two, right? To allow a friendly creature within range to use its reaction to attack instead. Target needs to be able to see and hear me, which, yeah. So I've got a reaction. Hold on. Hold on. If the target can hear you, it can use its reaction to either cast a cantrip or make a one weapon attack. Oh, there we Go. A cantrip. That's a big... That's a big clarification. You still do like an ultra-plast, right?
Hmm? And that's a cantrip? That's a cantrip, right? No, Alderchblast is not a can-trip. That's a... Firebolt acid spray. But it is an attack. I mean... It's just like... That's what I mean. Yeah. Yeah. Right, but it's... Yes. Sorry. Yeah. It counts as the attack action. Yeah. That's got to be a cantrip or a one weapon attack. But doesn't it count as a weapon? Like a one-handed? Eldridge Blast? Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's classified as a weapon for warlocks. Is it under the spell tab or a weapon? It's not under either. It's like my feature. It's like a feature thing I can do.
It's like a feature thing I can do. It is like my attack. I mean, that's my bread and butter kind of attack, but it isn't a weapon or a cantrip. It's or a spell. Oh, yeah. This is you learn to use your patron's power as a weapon. Boo. That is the literal definition. At first level, you learn to use your patron's power as a weapon. Okay. There you go. You can at least do that. Oh. That's cool. Unless you take the Eldridge whip, but then that just makes them. a melee spell attack instead. Do you have the whip? No, I don't have the way I have Elder Trey. And I get to do two Elder Trey on an attack action.
We're doing it? I was waiting for a ruling if, if there's a I guess. Like if it says it's a weapon, let's do it. Okay, gotcha. And here is Elder Trey the first. That is a word. a 17 for two damage. So one clarifying thing. Does he get a whole attack action or an attack? Like I'm trying to figure out like to use his reaction. Let me read it. Use his reaction and attack instead. Yeah. So when you use your reaction to make an attack, do you get a full attack action? Hang on. I can answer this. Let me find the thing. Yeah. When I use an attack action with Eldridge, I can make two Eldridge Ray attacks.
Right. Right. But we're trying to figure out you get a whole attack action because otherwise it becomes a thing where... Okay. So if you use a reaction, for the example is an opportunity attack, the normal way to use your reaction to attack, it's one attack. Right. Not a full attack action. So... Okay. That makes sense. Okay. Then there we go. Yeah. Boom, Elder Trey fired over Lager and shoulder. Do you do it? Yeah. Just kind of hits him in the schnaz. Just that's the sound it makes, by the way. It's not very dignified. It's what that haircut allows me. I mean, you don't have a Ray Romano in your pocket.
Come on, it's a mammoth. And he just hit it with Elder Trey. Oh my gosh. Elder Trey Romo. We are not. We are not making it to our 14th anniversary this Saturday. I'm done. That was it. That was the straw? We never know when that straw is going to come. But that's it. It's so much worse. I know, but it's like a cumulative, right? Like it's just, you know. I'll take the beatings. That's fine. But I can't. I can't. I don't remember giving you an option. I don't either. Are we done? For Logrin. Okay. Mammoth. All right. I hate to do this. I think it's going to go after Kimmer again because he's the last one to do.
It's just what? What? You hit him in the shanhas. It's probably like a bull seen red. Like it's literally like that's it. I think he fancies you. Well, he can trample. So. That's all like Yeti musk. He's back there wearing the fur coat. It's just a true. We didn't even clean that yet. Take it off. Okay. So it can just... Can I get a dexterity saving throw from Logren? Can it be literally anything else? Once throwing that D6 in there again. Fucking a six. I got a six. I hope you're happy. Please trample me. That's on me. Mammoth. Mammoth. Mammoth, my name. So. Can't just step over him?
Flogger and plants his shield, he's like, oh, shit. It just stopped. Oh, fulper. Like, it's just squished. We've got to go from the shotgun, too. So he plants a shield and blows himself onto his back. It just gets right into the snow. Oh. Oh. For the listeners, I just need to describe. Loggeron's token disappeared because the mammoth is on top of him. So that is 17 damage to lock. So he's so fucking mad. That's not enough damage. It's like, oh, wait, oh, I'm going to wake up. Oh, I'm going to wake up. He's just mad about it. And he's going to try to gore. With the other tusk this time.
Yeah, just, oh, that might not hit. 17 might hit. 17 does hit. Oh. I'm sorry. I even have a plus one to AC right now, but it's still hit. 29. 29. It's just going to knock him out. However, I'm out. I'm out. He's going to use a bonus action. and make a stomp attack against a prone creature and that's going to be logger and so underneath of him, he's just going to. Yeah. Cool, cool, cool. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. It probably doesn't even see him. You're just trained. Right. It's just a thing, right? He's doing a little mad stabbies. You're prone. I'm sorry. I have to roll that one more time.
Oh, I'm not going to hit you though. I don't think so. That's a 13 and a 14. No. I feel like it hits. him. It's just not cracking the shell. It's on. The shield's on. Mushing him up. Yeah. Just pushing down in this. Come on. Stop. He's giggling underneath. Nothing he can do. What would be death for anyone else is an annoyance? He's just mad. He's not even scared. He's just mad. I imagine you're reloading the shotgun underneath of its foot. You just wait. You just wait. Oh. Oh. Oh, we got an invent away for this not to take so long. That is the end of round one. And what a comical round it's been.
Yay, yay, yay. It's hilarious. For some of us. Oh, fun. Yeah. Nythera! It's Nythera, then mammoth, then Ruby. Okay. Then Logrin, then came here. That's right. Sorry. Okay. I can't even get to come here. If I wanted to, there's a giant mammoth in the way. Yes. They talk off mammoth and the way. And where even is logger and God? Right. You are under the mammoth. The logger. The lager. The mammoth keeps going. Rer-r-r-r-r-r-r. Like it's... Mammoth-nose. Mammoth-nose-dwarven. Knows all the cusswords. It's the first ones I learned at school. So same as the first. I'm going to do it again because it seemed to work out so well.
I'm going to move up on to it. Then I'm going to activate perplexing flurry, which gives me another attack. So first I'm going to attack with a mine blade. Oh, damn, that was a five rolled over to an 18. So 25 will hit. And that's... Oh, that's psychic damage. Oh. And then with my offhand, the Assassin's Gauntlet, the silvered blade, covered in black blade. Oh, ho. That is a nice. You are going to pierce clean through this mammoth and into Logrin's heart. Like, just into and just. It's going to collapse on Longren. Sadly, yes. But in a comical way, not in a deadly way.
Because this thing is dead. Right. It is so bad. It's too gaymways sometimes. Yeah. Very dimly. Very dimly. Very gimme. in the right moments. Obviously, like, it's trying to whip around to get to you because you're just stabbing its butt, I would imagine. And it's trying to pivot and turn, and it's just going to like, collapse like an ad at, but on top of Logrin. So you're going to... So I imagine we're going to break out the fulcrum. And we're going to have to... Oh, yes. Well, can you animate dead, Susan? I don't think... can. It has to be slain using the mind blade and I slayed it using the assassins called one.
We could have used a mammoth. I know, right? Because I can do a giant or humanoid creature. That would be nice to be able to pull the damn car out of the shirt. It's really cool. It's been real convenient to get it the fuck off me. That is also a thing. Maybe you could kick with your legs. Like, you look like the Lockernda does squats. Can I make it a strength joke or something? or strength of things? Yes. I'd be immediately jumping over to try to help dig out, like to try to push things around. How cool. And that one. I'm super glad I rolled that. Yeah. He's just a one.
Okay. This is. Again. This is a funny. Ha-ha. I mean, not for Khmer. Camere is bleeding out. Let's get to that. Let's get to that. I climb over the mammoth to get to chimera. Just pat the mammoth. Just like, stay there and get over him to get to chimera. So in this fight, they don't, they don't all go well. Lugrin tried to blast this thing with his shotgun and ended up falling backwards. His shield gets trampled all over him. The thing's stepping on him. And now it's on top of it. And mammoths are. thousands of pounds. Like this thing is quite a lot. So I'm here's what we're going to do.
We're going to, we're just going to end the evening with another group skill check. Oh my God. This is going. I feel like it is. I'll just always. Oh, just. And I just need longer to like wiggle aggressively like underneath them. Get a little friction. No. This is. this is for two things. One, it's to get this goddamn mammoth off of Lockren, but it's also to pull the car back from this ditch. Well, maybe, maybe this is, because it's right next to the gear heart. So it's actually maybe it's something like Ruby might say, actually not terrible. Like if we push down this, that might pop back up.
Well, now we get something. Like if you tie it, you can tie the fulcrum to. Yeah, something. Like you can tie it to the man. That's an engineering. Can we roll animal handling? That's what I should be rolling from under here. Sorry. Anyway, Jason, please continue. No, you're fine. Yeah, what do we need? What do we need? Okay, look. I need another strength saving throw from Lachron. Just from Lachron. Just from Lachron. There's no way. of it. Like, there's no, yeah. That's what I'm afraid of. This one. 15. 15's good. 15 is like, again, I picture squats, right? You're just like, it's leg presses.
So you got your shield in between you and the mammoth and you're just like, you're just maxing out plates right now. And then. The failure. I. I. One round. So I imagine. you have you have tied you have tied the back of the gear heart to this mammoth and your goal is to roll the mammoth over so that it just just pulls this so it's not graceful it is not what you want but it's killing two birds with one stone without killing any part this thing this mammoth is a stroke of luck as far as Ruby's concerned it's long will be fine the moment you honor is that yeah like chimera and lorbin bowl just staring daggers from Yeah.
He's holding this giant wound. Like, mm-hmm. And this nice era. So nutly. There's so much meat, too. We don't have to eat rations for a while. No, what time a day? I mean, this could be actually. Let's hold up. Let's go ahead and just have a nice. You know, I was feeling. I was thinking about filling my belly, I'm not meant the holes. I'm comprised. I'd eat my belly. Yeah. What do you do to heal chimera, by the way? Oh, I gave them a greater healing potion. That'll. Okay. Did you? Did you? Okay. That's 15 healing. That's pretty good. All right. Okay. So that's like a, that's like, what?
A quarter of your health back? That's not bad? Something like that? Yeah. Okay. So. still hurts, but you're not dying anymore. That's pretty awesome. So what I need is an engineering check from Ruby, please. Sure. We got one success. So the, so the mammoths up off the ground a little bit. Like, we're doing it. Who, who are these roles earlier? That's fantastic. So that is a 19. And a five on your expertise. I for a total. Great. Camara. Can I get an Arcana check just to, just to maybe? Like, I picture you just saying there. It's like, I'm just going to blast it real quick.
Just like a, just shoot some. Yeah. Not even faking, pushing or anything. It's like, oh, no. He's past that. He's way past that right now. Yeah, Arcana. here we go. Oh, God. You poop a little, I think. That's a crit one. I push too hard. This feels like, you know how like you get to a point in the middle of the story where you do the travel montage and it's just all the mishaps along the way. I imagine like a two-second clip of like the mammoth foot landing on Lager and two-second I mean, yeah, get these sacks playing in the background. I have to learn how to use these puppets so I can recreate this.
Yeah. I have to. Yet he flips the car over next day, logger and gets stepped on and gets bored. The mirror goes down. Like, what a, what a comedy. Two seconds of just the gear heart. All of us in a car and like, it's just the gear heart. It's just the gear heart. It's just the gear heart. It is slowly panning in for just two seconds. You're just hearing the screams. Oh. We're a being inside. Could you do me favor and roll on that crit table? That is a crit one for Arcana, sadly. I imagine you go to cast, you're like, and just kind of cough up blood a little bit.
Yeah. So many planes, so little memory space. You misattribute a special trait of one plane to another with potentially disastrous results. What does that mean? What can we do? Do you want to? Do you want to? Yeah. I think we can do. Yeah. Yeah. What if we roll on the rot of water table? Oh, my God. Oh, what? Yes. Okay. Okay. No. Oh, shit. But yes. I'll give the inspiration if you do it. Sure. Let's do it. You're under an elephant. You can't say anything. I'm the next. We'd run a bunch of decisions, logger, and objects to while he's undone. We get extra rations and we should pay for the nice hotel and we should get that.
No. That's why you push this way out. Yes. My money. Give me. You know what? Actually, let's put a pin in that and that'll be the last thing we do. But first. Okay. Now, there, we need a success here to get. Can I pretend to help? I just killed it. You did. I'm trying. Okay, help me. Help me conceptualize something that doesn't involve you musling this thing over, right? Because, oh, give me an acrobatics check. I have an idea. Okay. So I picture this thing is like 45 degrees up. Between Logrin, like, you know, leg pressing this thing. And then the blast doesn't do anything.
But like Ruby's like trying to wedge it. So I picture you tied it to the trunk and you're just going to try and cartwheel over and pull to get it to go that little bit more, right? And we just need one more success. And there we go. Perfect. 19. 19. will do it. So it is going to finally, like, as this thing starts tilting, it's going to be easier and easier for Logran to just keep like pushing. And then eventually it'll topple, right? It'll be kind of sitting perfectly vertical on its butt for a second. And then just like, boom, tip the other way into that, that melted portion of snow where the fireball went off.
And Logren is free. And it's going to jerk the car out of this thing. It is going to jerk the car out of this thing. going to like, like, it's kind of, you know, like a big speed bump type thing. But it's not going to hurt the car too much. It'll just ding it up again. By the time you get to Odyssea, it will look like you were on the road for a while. Gotta give it some more blood. That'll fix it right up. As soon as it lands and I hear it just like washes the window with his blood. Yeah. As soon as it lands on its wheels and Ruby flinches and holds for like three or four seconds just to make sure nothing explodes.
She'll say, well, that worked out pretty good. Logger's crawling up out out of the crater. I could have been an artisan in Arbery, had a comfortable life. That girl who was sweet on me, I could have married her. I could have never seen any of this ever in my entire life. Did you know how long it took me to sculpt these abs? Looks like you got a five-pack. Yeah. Well, it's been punctured. Yeah. That's never going to come back, right? Chasper? Yeah. Could you do me favor and roll a D10 and don't roll a one or a two? Uh. Yes. This is not the night. I know. 100% I can do that.
I believe in you. Easy. I mean. Yeah, just don't roll those. Three. See? And easy. What? No problem. You get what you said. You're going to. So this thing is going to jerk back off the clip and just and you're going to wait to see if anything like breaks. And it doesn't. But you're going to hear the car go. And it's going to even out. But you're like, should make that noise. And all the snow beneath is just going to like it's just going to like it's just going to hit rock. Like it's going to melt. like very quickly and then just even out again. She doesn't like it.
She's clocking it. She's filing it away not for days and days and days later. But as soon as she gets a little bit of time at the gear heart while it's charging or whatever, she's going to try to go for it. See whatever she can do to straighten it out. And I hope none of you want it children. Already had so much. Yeah. Next. I guess it all out of her. So she's good. I'm good. Hey, I This is the last role I'm going to ask for it tonight. I need a D-100 for the Rod of Wonder Table. Awesome. Open the book. Cool. Here we go. 99. 99. I don't know why that feels good.
But you know, like, I don't know what that's going to be. Oh, my God, this is wonderful. I need all of you to give me a D20 and whoever rolls lowest, we're going to do something. It's not terrible. It's funny. It fits in with the night. Okay. Okay. Okay. Well, seven. Time. Can you give me another D20, please? Yes. Just one more. All right. A five. This is going to be hilarious. Okay. Now, because we're doing travel days, this isn't going to kick in until we're in civilization again, so don't worry. One party member now believes that everything is free for them. They will believe this for five days, and it will kick in when you get to Obedisia.
Well, at least it's temporary. Jesus Christ. For five days, you said? For five days. Okay. That was a D20. That could have been a month of this. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So it's just one of those things where it's not malicious. It's like, yeah, it's all free. I heard that's what happens in Odysseia. Yeah. He said it was free. He didn't say it was free. I want it. I don't know. He said it was pretty sure. He said it was free. It'll be one of those things where someone will explain it. And it's just like, I don't know. I. Once you're on the other end of it, it's like, man, why do I think that?
Like, it's just. You have been knocked around a couple of times here. I wouldn't be surprised. You've lost a lot of blood. Yeah. A concussion-yness. It's free. It's not even that. It's more just, I deserve this. I can have this. When are we coming back here? Who cares what they think of me? I'm just kidding. You thought it twice. This should be free for me. And then you thought it again. This should be free for me. I thought about this before. I thought about this before. I've surely it is free for me. Somebody told me it was free and it turns out it was him three seconds earlier.
Guys, that had a, that had a lot of Wednesday session energy. Yeah. And everything. And I think that's a good time for us to stop for the night. And unless something horrific happens, I don't see us not getting to do Odysseia at the end. by the end of the next session. The end is a choice of words. I did not see. I do see us ending in Odyssey. I do see us ending in Odyssey. Yes.
