So as you approach these gates, there is a small section, almost like a window that is going to sort of materialize.

And then kind of part, and you'll see a pair of eyes behind it. Do you have any business here in the city? Kind of welcoming, kind of, you know, just like, do you have an appointment almost? That type of thing. We do, yes. And who is your business with? Our business is with whoever owns a certain magical artifact that we're after. You're going to hear giggling behind the door. Just kind of like a chuckle. And it's very like, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. You know, that type of, you know, I'm afraid you're going to have to be a little more specific friend. A little condescending. little, you know.

We're going to spend money. Does that help? Can we just come in and then we'll figure it out? Long pause. And these gates almost look like one solid wall. And you're going to see a seam kind of part. So they don't have to worry about the same type of thing that, say, Winter Haven has to deal with where there's like an airlock to keep out cold and stuff.

But they are definitely warming this city somehow because as these gates open, you're going to feel like a rush of warm air. And there are going to be a few guards posted. And none of them have weapons. But you can see that a couple of them have kind of like magic flared up on their fit. Just in case like something happens. Like you get the strong indication that if you, if you. you were to start shit. Ha, ha, fire an arrow or something like that, you'd be eating a fireball. Like, they, they are almost itching to, to do that. But they are welcoming you in.

All of you look to be armed in some way. Yeah, there's like yeties on the road between here and the next city. It's mostly washed out now, by the way. So you might want to get a crew on that. Some kind of damn broke up. Up ahead. As you're traveling in, the gate will start shut and everything. And two of the guards are kind of like, they're not touching you, but they are getting close and just kind of examining you, just kind of assessing like, do you look like bandits? Do you look like, you know, what does it look like your vocation is? You know, what business would you have here? because none of you look.

And this is through their eyes. None of you look particularly educated or rich or someone they want to associate with normally. Right. I do do a little like conjure flame on my hand though. Just like little wink at wink at them. Like I can do that too. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And here's, okay, here's the thing. So just like you can sense their magic, they can pick up what you're putting down. And to them, all of theirs is earned. There's is, you know what I mean? Like even the way they've done, you know, like instead of cobblestone, they had these perfectly hexagonal spaces that link together. And as you walk on them, they're going to illuminate the space around you, like LEDs and shit. So it lights the way and stuff like that. It's kind of getting dark out, but it is just odd. Like if they took their knowledge and power and know how you feel like they could have probably solved a lot of the world's problems, but they're really just kind of focused on this, like this bit here.
