Let's do that thing where we go around the table and introduce ourselves. My name is Susan, and I am a player at this table. Going around the table, starting with Jason. How dare you? I'm Jason. I'm the dungeon master. I don't know what my purpose is now. Yes. Hey, everybody. I'm Jasper. I play Ruby Pedigrew, the Half-Work, Year Slinger Adept. And Jameson? I am Jameson, he-ham. I play Lock and Crackmore. He's a Dwarven Marshall. And last but certainly not least, Ian. Ian. Here, he him, and he, and I play Guy the Geimira, the Deep Wing World Warlock. I thought it would be AI that replaced me.

I didn't know. Last time, we had to deal with the gear heart being repaired. How long does this bit go? Hold on a second. Do I leave? Like, hold on. Jason, you play Nithera now. It turns out. Oh, shit. Oh, no, we're outside of combat. I'm going to do terribly. Yeah, I'll take over when we're in combat. Oh, God, guys. Well, we have a much heavier gear heart. Let's start by advancing the calendar to the 25th. We're going next day, baby. Next day, we wake up or whoever needs to wake up, whatever. You get that way. You're going to notice the gear heart riding. It, again, is covered in these hexagonal stone plates.

Basically, everywhere except where windows are, right? The roof is coded in them, so if you want to, there's a hatch that you have to open, and it's very heavy. We'll get into that. It's mostly in the front, and it kind of tapers off in the back a little bit. The plates get much smaller. So I added it to my tasks just now so that I'll be reminded to create a stat block for everybody. And I'm going to make some art for the gear heart. It will not be official. It will not be good. It will be beautiful. It will be teacher. It will be. This gear heart. So. What would Ruby's reaction be?

To be, to be clear, it's not fixed, fixed. No, no, no, of course. I mean, normally Ruby sleeps pretty late and snores and whatever. It's been a little bit weird, right? And I think she probably stayed up and then crashed because she thought she was going to stay up all night. things are a little bit iffy. I feel like she probably would have gotten up. Let's get out of here kind of a thing. Let's get on the road as much as possible. I imagine her standing in front of the gear heart with her hands on her hips, just staring at it for a very long time, and waiting for Loggerand to sort of walk up, because it's going to look like he had something to do it. with this, I think, very clearly.

She would just say, what did you do? I fixed it. He's like sitting behind you, like sitting on a rock, like carving. Yeah. It's just like I fixed it. He's got a bandage around one hand. But you, and then she's going to, she'll do a little bit more of an assessment. Well, it's not fixed, fixed. Oh, but it'll get us back where we need to go. How'd you do it? What did you do? Wait, what did you do? She turns around now to look at Loggeron. He just holds up his hand with the bandage around it. I shared. Damn it. How can we never thought of that before? I'll be honest with you.

I almost wish it didn't work. It's a little bit weird. What happened? Hmm. He's got rocks on it now. That's kind of cool. I never thought about rocks. Dang. It's like every day it's a new gear heart. We got to be careful. We got to stop giving it like mammoth blood. So should we all contribute? Oh. Can we just let it sit for a little bit? Please, I want to get this thing back to where I can actually mess with it. where I can actually fix some things. Can we just get on the road, leave it as it is, and just hobble along if we have to, until we get back to Estherhole.

Please, no more blood. Well, that can't be guaranteed, but we'll try our best. No more blood on purpose. That can't be guaranteed, but we'll try her best. I wonder if it works with any other fluid. You think Jesse likes any of that? No. No. She's going to Elaine push you. She's going to sign for her lane. She's shrug you as you say. Get out. Get in. Let's all go. I am. I'm out. But now get in because we got to get out of here. This thing is. She's going to kick it. She's going to say this thing's probably going to go as fast as you are, which means it's going to take us a week and a half. have to even get like, you know, down the road.

So let's get going. What do we do about that? Cameras pointing to the gauntlet in the snow. You guys didn't talk about this in between sessions. No, we didn't. Ruby's going to get her pack. strapped up and she's going to get into the gear heart and she's just going to say that's above my pay grade she does not want to think about it. She's already said her piece. I'm going to turn to the locker and be like I think it's above all our pay grade but we can't just leave it here. If we take it with us and It leads us to Estreol. We can't have that on us. If we leave one of those things into the city, and it tears things apart trying to get to it, that can't be on us.

She's completely, she's not involved with this at all, but she will stick her head out of the gear heart and say, we could bring it with us and leave it outside the city, like a day away. Keep it close, but not too close. Anyway, it's above my peg grade to go back into the year. It just kind of does like the side. All three of us kind of do the slowest, I turn. Yeah, look back at each other. Yeah, he'll look at the two of you. You'd be like, listen, I'm real close to just kicking it down this hill here. And if they find it, they find it. And if they find us, they find us.

But I don't want to do anything that's going to help them with either of those. They found us. They could find us in Asterohold anyway. From what you're saying, what you're afraid of, sounds like they might be able to do regardless. I think it's debatable if they found us. We ran across one of them along the road and took a pot shot at them, and then they waited. Are you sure that's what happened? Can you be sure that's what happened? That's what it looked like to me. I think we could be more sure that it can follow this thing. So I'm willing to take the, well, I don't like. taking the risk in any case, but it's more of a risk if we bring that thing with us.

Well, let's, what if we do like Ruby says? We take it as far as we can. Leave it outside the city. And we go back to Mother Dusk, was it? Tell her about it. Maybe we bring someone out who can take a look at it where we put it. Tell us about it then. I don't like it. I don't know. He's frustrated. He gives it a little kick. He wants to see it roll across the snow a little bit. I mean, my main concern is what Lagrin said last night. it really resonated with me is that we don't need to put the kids in any more trouble. And if we take this back to Esther Holt, who knows us better than them, they'd be the first target to go through to get to us.

I hate to bring this up, but anywhere we go brings trouble for the kids. We brought them to Esther Holt for them to be safe. And trouble found us there. And they got wrapped up in life. Should we add more? I don't think it matters. I don't think it matters what we have with us or don't have with us. It's just who we are and it's what we do because of what we're trying to do. We're going to shake some feathers and ruffle some locks with what we're doing. That's just the way it is. And we won't be able to do what we're trying to do without doing that. those kids are going to be in danger if they're around us, period.

We know that. That's why we're trying to put distance between us and them. Whether we have some artifact that's evil or not, it's going to happen. Because people are looking for us or finding us or finding us, or wanting to get us involved in some kind of plot. And I always say, better we have more information with us that we can use than not have it, especially when we need it. Yes, Ruby. So Ruby is actually now standing on next to everybody. It took too long. She lost her train of thought. Yeah, she's just back out there. look, I don't want to get anybody into trouble.

I don't want the kids in trouble. I don't want us in trouble. But I will say one thing. Logren, you've got a plan here, and we're here because of that plan. I'm not saying that that thing and she'll kick it to is going to help with this plan. But what if it did? Or what if it helped us overcome something else that we need in the future in order to make this plan be okay? I'm just saying I'm not obsessed with this gauntlet. I don't care about that. But if we find things that are magic and weird and cool and maybe could help us, I just think about what we're here for.

I don't know. It's probably not the right decision. But what if we passed it up and we needed it later? And we never had it again. Invisible opportunities. Except this one is. very visible. It's a very visible opportunity. It's extremely visible. Look at it. I kick it, too. Every kind of looks expectantly at night there. Wait, wait, wait. I want to be a... Do you want to stab it? Are you trying to stab it? Okay, Jason. What if while they were around it, I went and grabbed the box? No. Ah. What's everyone's passive perception? It ain't 20, right? Not 20. Nope. I'm going to go for it.

Go for it. I'm going to allow it. Okay. I'm going to take a Jameson here and just do something. Oh, wait. Is this what I'm doing to people? And Nithira, while you guys, but after Ruby came back out, she just went back to the car, grabbed the box, and then you all look back to her because you're all taking your pot shot at it. And she suddenly, to you guys, has the box at her hands. And she's just going to take the lid off and put on top of the gauntlet. So now it's in the box. All right. Well, now we have it. There it is. Now it's coming with. I want to be mad, but that's actually probably the best solution.

Now it's not traceable. I would have, maybe, maybe we could have talked about it some more, but here's my problem. And he's like, he's like, take the thing out of snow. He's like, justering for you to like, well, you did it. Get it. Yeah. So here's my problem is, this is something that we've, that I, I've been trying to do for 20 years. And Ruby, you've been with me for eight. So on, trying to do this. And now here we are. Plans are in motion. We can't stop. I'm worried we're getting sloppy. People are finding out what we're up to. We're getting weighed down with other things.

The more of this that happens, the more variables we're introduced. the harder it's going to be to stay focused. Maybe this does help us. But maybe it's the thing that prevents us from doing what we need to do. Because we picked a fight with these fuckers. So now we have it. We got seven days to decide what to do with it. They can't trace it. That's the good thing. But who knows when it comes back? Maybe they'll be able to detect. from twice as far away. I... No idea. But that's a seven days from now problem, I guess. Ruby takes that box gently and carefully.

No, nice here tosses it to you. She'll do a very dexterous to hold on to it. because there's a bomb in there. Also, somewhere in there, like rattling around probably. As she kind of walks back to the gear heart, she's going to put her hand on logger and shoulder and say, you're right. We got to focus. Let's get this back close to Estherhole. We don't have to make it. Let's see how fast we can get there. Let's find out what it is. Let's find out if we need to get rid of it. Let's find out if it's going to help us or not. Make a decision. We're not going to hold on to it one way or the other.

We'll get rid of it if we need. Let's get to Esther Holt. Let's get the gear heart fixed up as best as we can. Let's get all the supplies we need. Let's make a plan. And then let's focus. Don't forget, we got a ticking clock for this whole plan. trip. She's going to go into the guard. And my Gira's going to look to Kimer and be like, now we all, it comes with us, but now we're not trackable like Lagerin and I want. I think. Good compromise. Maybe it comes back twice as strong, then you'll get more out of it when it comes back out of it when it comes back out.

What I want out of it is to be able to make sure that. we can see whatever's coming down the road. That's all. Because, yeah, just like Ruby said, we're running out of time. Or at least, time isn't on our side. Burr-R-R-R-B-R-R-B-R-B-R-B-R-B-R. Rurbe-B-B-R What did you guys put in our breakfast? Jeez. I think you just had five cups of coffee for breakfast. Yeah, so I guess we're, I guess we're piling in the car. And we're getting going. Okay, so it is the 25th right now. The next time the orb is going to reappear. We'll be on the 29th. But now we have to count seven days. from the 25th.

That's a second. That'll be the second of Thorum. Okay. I get weird when I just do things. Exciting, right? Immediately. I'll leave that to Jameson in the future. Just do stuff. You can't try it and didn't care for it, huh? No, no, no, no. The reason why you're the leader. Oh, you're muted. Oh. It's actually muted. I can't see the red ring. Yeah. That was my, that was my bet. You know what? I'm thrown since my job was taken. I don't know what I'm doing. I need to volunteer for travel time. I was about to say the same thing to you did. Jason, want to you roll out of travel time for us.

I'll do it. Do you want me to do it for you? Here, go on you do it. Maybe. Here we go. 600. So that means we find a chest full of gold along the road. Is it a chest where we can put the gold in and it stays for seven days and then comes out and gets bigger? And it's double? Yes. So the coins just get bigger and bigger. That should be using this for money. That's absolutely. That's absolutely. As the gear heart is just driving away, that's, we should be using this for money, by the way. But can you imagine a week from now when the money comes out and then the gear heart just goes to do like it because it gets lower to the ground?

Just all the windows burst open with coins sparing up. Yeah. Well, you're going to notice a couple things right off the bat. The suspension of the gear heart is going to need some adjustment. You're a little low to the ground now, and you can kind of feel the road a bit more. Instead of kind of bouncing up and down, like a more of more of an off-roading vehicle, you're kind of... You can hear bits and pieces of it rattles specifically the bits that have holes in them in the front. So you're going to hear it's like, br-d-d-d-d-d-r-d-you're going to kind of...

It's like, okay, this needs... this needs tuning. And you're moving at about a third of the speed you were moving at. Part of that is because of damage. Part of that is just because of the added weight. But you're a tank, basically. For something to pierce... The Gearheart, it would either have to go through the windshield or a window, something like that. Or be abnormally strong. You know what I mean? So you kind of got, you kind of got like, you're the juggernaut with a lip, basically. You know what I mean? If you can get that speed up, holy shit, like, you know.

Yeah, going downhill. Amazing. Guess stopping might be a problem. The brakes might need to be checked as well. But we're going to move you up a bit. And nothing is going to happen with the 60. Honestly, there's some weather, but it won't affect you in the gear heart. There will be some hail, and you'll hear it. Hit the gear heart. Instead of bouncing, it shatters. Because it's just hitting stone. So it's not damaging anything. It's like, oh, I'd hate to be out in that. What are what the poor people are doing as you cruise along? Uh, Dean, give me a travel die, please.

We're moving to the 26th. Gotcha. Hey, there's one thing I do want to do while we're, like, traveling through. Sure. Is, you know that brooch that I got? Uh, while we're just in the gear heart, like, traveling, I want to be sort of like trying to commute. I don't know, commune with that. Or, like, what's the word? Commune's not the right word. When you... A tune? A tune. Thank you. Yes. That's what I'm saying. Here's a question. Is Khmerer good at concentrating? Is he good at concentrating? I'm just, it's like your spellcasting doesn't need concentration most of the time.

And you seem to be easily distracted, I would say. Yeah. I don't think. I think concentration is not his strong suit. I think he can concentrate on things maybe. I was going to say better than Ruby, but when Ruby gets like tunnels focused, she gets, she can concentrate, but it's just like whenever, whenever, when there's other stuff around happening, you know. Right. So, yeah, I don't know if concentration is his strong suit. Could you give me a... Give me an Arcana check with disadvantage? Okay. Which still give you a pretty decent shot. Let's see. Oh, yeah.

That's not terrible. Disadvadvance is a 13. Yeah. Yeah. So. what are you trying to get out of this? Like, what's your hope, I guess? Um, to figure out kind of what it does, because I think when I got it, it was described as like, it's kind of a weird thing because it's sort of this like crude, raw, almost demonic-looking gem in this, like, beautiful fill of greed. elven kind of setting. So already it sort of like looks like it's juxtaposed. And it gives off some kind of magic that could be like understood given you take some time to study it. So that's what I'm trying to do is like figure out what it is.

And what it does. And what it does. I think the easiest way to do this would be each day, right? This is kind of mentally taxing. Because what you're trying to do is extract arcane knowledge from this thing without accidentally rocking it. You don't want to set it off if it's something dangerous. Let's say it eats souls. It's like, well, I don't want to, I just want to know what it does. So I'm just kind of poking around in here. So you're trying to mentally extract like, what do you do without turning it on? So each time you do this and you pass a check, I'm going to have you roll a D10.

And when you get to 30, you'll be able to figure it out enough to use a. it and understand it and all that. So please give me a D10. Got it. I like that. I like that. Five. That's five. And each time you kind of pass a little, like five would give you just the bare bed of about. There's a weird dichotomy about this thing, right? And it really matches its appearance. You know, beautiful, filigreed, kind of, you know, gorgeous. like brooch, and then the gem set inside of it is kind of crude and uncut and very... So what you're getting from this is there's two types of magic within it.

One is a very simple, elegant, you know, design, and then something in the center of this is kind of raw brute force. That's all I can tell you right now, though. Okay. Sounds good. I'll take it. Let me give you that travel die then. 33. Man, I've got a addition. I'm going to do for the group. So I went through. And I created a new set of travel die experiences. Because I agree with you. I don't like random combat that doesn't lead anything. So any time combat does pop up, and I don't know why I'm telling you this. This is just, you know, this is for you. Any time combat comes up, there is a story involved.

There is an experience. There is something to learn and something to gain. Now, that might piss you off even more because you might get roped into someone's problems. I don't know. That's not to you. Okay, wait. Is there a yellow exclamation point? above their head as we're driving by. No. Scribble south. Not yellow. Not no. So we're going to move you up again. Now, you notice this on the way down. The weather was really bad, and it didn't really matter much. You know, seeing caverns and stuff, kind of a dime it doesn't. But you're going to see a lot of heavy activity this time.

Namely, explosions. Small explosions, but explosions. And you're going to see a group of miners come streaming out of this cavern. Four of them. And they are being followed by what looks to be some sort of. 10 foot tall skeleton behemoth? Can I get a religion check? Any of you guys real religious? Anyone trained in religion at all? Can we still roll it? You can. You can, yes. See if any of you are accidentally pious today. Nope, that's two for Lugrin. Who goes, I know what that is. Never mind. I forget. This is fair. Two for Lagrin. Five for chimera. Ninth year with an 11.

I think that's just from sheer living the longest. Yeah. Steeing religion. Yeah. And then nine from Ruby. Maybe they had mass or something in Brightport. I don't know. So. Oh, boy. An 11. This is the best we have to work with, so I'm going to give you bits and pieces of information. There are lots of demons in the world. And they go back, quite a ways. A lot of them are buried deep for a reason. A lot of them, as it turns out, took the cross-born tactic of, well, let's throw it into a hole, and it's someone else's problem, 100, 200, a thousand years from now.

Yeah. It's a good 100% of the time. Well, it looks like these miners may have unearthed one of these demons. And it's a particularly nasty one called a bone devil. Bone devils are huge, reckless creatures. Just basically, giant, swollen skeleton men with a green eldritch energy flowing out. from them. And this one is wrecking shop. It is, it is... Shirt with the plastics. He's passing notes, teacher. I typed it when I don't want to interrupt. I'm my fault you read it. It's on you. I think maybe he saw me rolling my eye, my eye. my eyes. I was like, why is Susan doing that?

Honestly, I saw reactions and I'm like, what? What? Oh, come on. Anyway. This Bone Devil is going to reach out and catch one of the miners that are running away. And it's going to grab its ankle and just beat it against a rock over and over again. It is strong enough to pick up a full-grown man. And the upper half of the half. of this person, essentially, on the third strike, just kind of falls away from the rest of it. There is blood and gore everywhere. And it screams. But it does, that Eldridge energy is going to crackle and glow stronger. And it's going to start chasing after the others into the snowy night.

I have two questions. It may. Would this be considered a greater demon? I don't know about a greater demon. I'd say it's a decent demon. It's not a... It's not a picture. There are lesser and greater demons in D&D, but picture it, it's more like an office hierarchy. This one's assistant to the regional manager demon. Not one you'd trust with great amounts of power, but it's a go-getter. It's got gumption and chutzpah. Okay. Not a thinker. My second question was dependent upon that one, but I'll still ask it. Does it have horns? It does not have horns. It has a just, it almost looks like just a regular human skull, just a little larger on this hulking.

I got a picture. You want a picture? It's a loins. I would love a picture. If it's Jameson in high school, it would be amazing. That would be hilarious. That would be very funny. No. Scrap, whatever you were going to do, Jesus. Yep, I got it. Sorry. Yeah, I'll get on my Facebook real quick. Go all the way back. Scroll, scroll, scroll, guys, we're going to put a bit in this session, catch up in a few days. It's for the bit. It's for the bit. And can I have Lindsay's number? No. No. Look at that thing. Oh, that's a tail, though. Oh. That's mean looking. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Logger and says, boy, I hope those guys make it. Thoughts and prayers. Let's go. Every, okay. For those of you at home, Bone Devils are a thing in D&D. A5E has their own version of the artwork, and I really, I much prefer this one. Bone Devils and D&D kind of look skulky, kind of like, um, slinky. This is genuinely frightening looking. I like a big hulking. You know, I like a big boy, a chunky boy. It looks like it, the biceps and, and like upper thighs are rib cages all by themselves. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You know what I don't like, but this probably works for other people is how, how.

The scorpion tail looks. You can just say me. Some people. Well, I did two people come to mind, and that was Ian and L, and I didn't want to call them out specifically. But. They would have. Yeah. All right. So painting a picture here. So we're heading on whatever path makes the most sense. Is this off to the side? Is this in front of us? Are we able to... Are we in the middle of things? You're not in the middle of things. This is one of those things where you can stop or not. So this is, I'd say... I'd say conservatively, like, 30 or 40 yards away from what would be considered the road, right?

This thing, if you're driving, this will be off to your left and a bit ahead of you. So you're coming up on it, and it's night time. So the things you see, like the explosions are going to catch your eye. And then the bright green skeleton man is, you know. Yeah, Ruby will, she's not going to slam on the break. Well, first of all, we're not going that fast anyway. But Ruby would power down for just a second here. Get the lay of the land. I mean, if we keep going, are we going to get in the middle of this thing? Let's just let it play out for a minute. That's when the first guy gets beaten to death, yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. How, okay. Let's see where he's going with this. He might be friendly. Okay. Bam, bam. Looks like one of your friends over here, Camara. Mm-hmm. I don't know much, but I know that energy. That's Eldridge. That's a demon. Yeah, I think Ruby would look back at Lagrin, like, What you think, boss? Hunker down, keep going. Open the hood. I can hit it from here. I will say this. The Gearhart has lights, right? I don't know how elegant these are, you know, but when the miners see, I mean, they're going to run. As I'm saying this, picture them looking for any help.

Otherwise, they're just running into the frozen night. Of course. And they're going to see this vehicle. It's like, beats a demon. and they're going to run towards that. Screaming for help, right? I think once that happens, it's hard to pretend like we didn't see it, right? Yeah. It's like a homeless guy at the red mic. We've all done it. But I think Logrin just kind of is like, well, we need it to demon anyway. And he'll like, he'll like punch the door to get it to crack so it can open up. And as you're doing that, well, it's not a great. creator demon, yeah.

If we get enough bones in my work, I don't know. I don't make these recipes. Yeah. Just show up at this woman's house and just dump bones. Just a whole pile of, like, I don't know, maybe. We found this guy's got a lot of rinkages. There's a gauntlet. I don't know if you need this, too. It's really powerful. We put it in the box. Sorry, it's huge. It actually fits on this giant skeleton hand pretty well. Quantity is quality, all it's on, who knows? All right. You play a demon bone armor. Yeah. Oh. As soon as he does that, I'm going to do two things. I'm going to cast false life on myself.

And I am going to get up out the top and fire an Eldridge blast. Poon! Can I get an athletics check? Oh, to open the top of this thing? Yeah. Now there's lots and lots of lots of lots of pounds of stone on top of it now. Yeah, yeah, you can. You can. No. That's... Roll the six, got a four. I mean, Ruby would try to... Okay, hang on. I know how it... It will try to sort of help. It genuinely feels locked. It's like, is this... Hold on. Is it locked? It's like, no, it is just not. It's, yeah. Fuck it. I step out and blast the elder... Elder Trey out from the door. We have to have a talk about that upper body strength at some point.

It's not a thing. Like, he's got other strengths. Yeah, we need to, like, Lagerin and Kimerin need to do some, like, pushpole days. We need a dream montage. Yeah, he needs a drink of me right for sure. And Lagerin also, like, he gets out in, like, you guys are fucking with the sun, the skyline. light and he's like he turns around. Am I the only one getting out to fight this team? And I dare will get out with you. Because she was right behind you going, well, it's not a greater view. Right. Yeah. What are the kids doing? They're fucking with the door again. You guys want to right click on yourselves.

And toss yourselves into the combat tracker. I don't. Where am I? I don't even know where are we? Yeah. We don't have a. We don't have a. We got a place on the map. Where? There it is. I should bring you all there. I have a lot of status effects. What is this? Yeah, what's up with that? You're not grappled. Let me go. Oh, sorry. Sorry. Just one of the hug. That ghost has just been clinging on you like a backpack. Sorry. Sorry. It's just my ghost now. It's just my ghost now. I don't know. Yeah, clear all that from you guys. I'm touched. I'm touched. I mean, yeah. Probably. Probably.

Yeah. I can't clear it, but maybe you guys can. Do you write click them? We need to find a token for the gear heart. One of these days. I'm making art. It's come. Oh, that's right. Yeah, yeah. It's common. It's common. It's not going to look good. Don't sell yourself short. I'm selling myself exactly right. Like, I, the exact word. When I plant the tower shield, it doesn't affect. It's not changing my AC, but I'll just take it out of it. Whatever. There could just be problems with this version of. I came to that same conclusion. Yeah. And that's part. It's hard at being in the beta test.

I'm not like little art works and all the little things. Yeah, no, there's some really good stuff in here. It's just, uh, let's try something. Logrin, do me a favor. Roll an attack with damage connected, please. I want to see if something works. Mm-hmm. I hit nothing with an 11, and I did 10 damage to nothing. Okay. Nothing had it coming. It did. Did nothing wrong. But it also did nothing to defend itself. Did nothing to deserve this. That does work. Applying damage and all that stuff does work. So I guess, let's just struggle on. We got this. I do have all the effects off now, I think.

Okay. So your defensive AC is already on. My AC should be 25 when the shield is planted. It's just not going to hit you. There we go. Done. Thank you. Okay. See? The DM says that the DM says that. Oh, yeah. It's just not going to hit me. I run this show. I forgot. Yeah. Doesn't fix the table. Yeah, yes, Susan. Okay, give me access to James and sheet. Let's get this shit fixed. Oh, by the way, since we're, since we're stalled for a moment, I have a level six ability that is applicable here. Call to arms. When you roll initiative, you and each creature friendly to you that are within range of your commanding presence, getting an expertise die to their initiative check.

If you guys would like to add a D4. Oh. To your... Oh. Yeah. How do I do that now? Just roll a D4 and I'll add it. Oh, cool. I got one. Oh, my God. So you're whipping a firebolt at this thing. kicking things off. Let's say that. Yeah, no, I'm whipping an Eldridge. Blasted this thing. Oh, an Eldridge blast. Oh. Go. You're up first anyway. Go. Well, hell, yeah. Let's... LFG, baby. LFG. Where is this guy? Where can I target him? Oh, he's over here. Oh, hello. Yeah. A big boy. A big boy. Let's do some... Well, let's get some diabolical curse on him, too. So as I'm shooting out these Eldridge beams, which I get to add plus two, too.

Thank you for reminding me, Susan. And chimera, like, fuck it. can't open this thing. So he just like, he like steps out in front of Logron and just like fires off these huge blast of energy. And as they're going towards this thing, he like does a little flourish and says some words in. That's a little curse on this guy. I hope I'm doing this right. It looks like I am because he got a cool green thing on him. That's never happened before. Upgrades, baby! And we're going to do... We're going to do fire damage. So here's the first Eldridge Blast. Let's go. Ooh, wow. 16's going to miss.

Oh, okay. Then we'll do the second. So the first one you whip at it, it's going to hit broadside. One of these... One of these big, old massive, like, bicep slash. Bicep cage? Bicep cage. That's where he's got to cage these things because they're dangerous. So you're going to just like smack him with it, and he's going to turn and look at the group and kind of like get down in this feral position. But it doesn't seem to do anything. Got his attention. And that one That should be better hit. That should be six damage. Six, six, six, force damage. So yeah, that one's like, oh, it's going to like take it and then it's going to get ready.

And it's got a stance like it's getting ready to just full board sprint. And you're not exactly sure how fast this is, but you're hoping it's not as fast as it is big. and that's it for me. That'll bring up Ruby. Okay. Question. Does this thing have a weapon, or is it just claws and fists and stuff like that? Just curious. It is. It looks like claws and fists. Okay. And that tail. A tail looks suspect. Sure. That's true. Uh, oh. I am. So Ruby is going to, as those, Eldridge Blast or blasting. She's going to take off. She's going to go, I'm telling you, she is very, very fast.

You've just got to, if you can imagine seeing her sprint and you're like, how the hell did she? What the? Because her speed's 50. So there she goes. So she's going to go up here on top of like a little bit of an outcropping, just a little bit above, if possible. And she's going to pull a double shot. Double shot is... I'm shooting off two crossbows with her wrist ballista. And here we go. So I'm going to do crossbow one. Yeah? Oh, wow. 22 will hit max damage of 18. Fantastic. That's just one. Here comes the double of the double shot. Less impressive. 15 is going to miss.

That is okay because I've got two attacks. So I'm going to do one more crossbow. Well, crossbow. The wrist ballista. She's going to quickly reload and fail straight at it. Partly this is to get the attention distracted. Ooh. 14 is going to miss, sadly. All right. That's going to be it for Ruby for now. Nyther is up. Okay. As she was getting out of the vehicle, out of the gear heart, she was taking out her short bow, and she's going to plant herself right next to logger and look over to him and say, I'm going to need you to cover me. Because she's going to use cutting action, a cunning action to take aim, which means that I am going to be moving zero feet on my turn, but I get advantage on my attack.

Okay, got it. So that is what I'm going to do. So she's going to take out her bow, really focus on it as it starts to barrel down towards us. And just sneak attack. I know it's like a creature. Oh, sneak attack damage you could apply if you have advantage on the attack. Ha ha ha. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Why, it's almost like it's built that way. Oh. 24 will hit 15 damage. And that is my turn. So that's two very solid hits. The first one, you're going to find that these piercing attacks, they're going to slide in between those rib-type bones, and it's going to pierce something gooey inside.

There will be some green liquid kind of spilling. spilling down here. Those bones are there to protect the squishy bits. And it is pissed off. You could tell that. I wonder what that will turn the gear heart into. No, no. No. She just yelling. No. Everybody all it wants from all over the battlefields. No. Even the miners. She just bits out lava. Just demon shrieking howls for the rest of his life. Oh, God. We can't sleep. Just ghostly whales all through the night. All right. All right. So check this out. Logrin's gone out. One, two, three, 15 foot move. Loggerin's going to plant his tower shield as a free action.

Boom. Hey. Look at that. I worked. I fixed it, guys. I don't, Jameson. How are you? As a bonus action, he's going to mark foe. Until the start of my next turn, creatures able to see or hear me gain an expertise die on attacks made against that creature. He's going to say, go out. Go out. Go that one right there. And then as a. action, action. He's going to rack his gun on his shield, and he's going to fire one of his last two rounds into this thing. So we're going to go to the gun. The range on that shotgun. Great question. Let's look at the gun. Range short is 30 feet. 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 45, 45, 45, 45, 45, 45 feet away.

The maximum range is 90 feet. So it's disadvantaged beyond 30 feet. Okay. Well, I can't get closer. You step forward a couple of just two squares. What you could do is you could hold that. You know what? And if it comes closer, when it comes closer. It is going next, isn't it? Mm-hmm. I would imagine. and Loggins bracing for this thing to pounds. Yeah. You know what? I think that's going to be exactly what he does. I'm going to take up a position. And I'm going to be like, come on, you big bastard. Come get me. Well, that'll bring up the bone devil. Now, sadly, there are two people who have done significant damage, and it is running right at Ruby. that does put it within 30 feet I open fire does it put it within 30 feet yeah 5 10 15 20 25 30 35 it's 30 feet onto it square or just to 30 feet between us I look doing a ruler in a 30 yeah if you could go to 30 feet you're not touching it so well that's from my center mass, though.

It's including the 2.5 feet in that for something. Go ahead. I mean, if he's like very carefully skirting around the outer range. No, I wouldn't say that he's going. He's like, well, I'm going to make sure. So we will open fire with the gun, which is had selected. Why did I click away from? I don't know. I don't know why I do these things. Okay. So with the shield supporting the gun, it's going to offset its natural disadvantage from being, from kicking like a mule, it's just rolling normal, no expertise die. Let's just roll. Oh, wow. Oh, only a 12 to hit. Oh.

I'll hit Ruby, so... That was partly my selfish reason for saying, don't shoot with disadination. No, don't shoot. Bam, bam. How is everything in that general? Like, yeah. To my own credit, I kill the strength saving throw on these every time. Every time. You are not getting not. 24 in that strength saving throw. The shotgun is much more of a 10-foot weapon. If I were on your team, I would be nervous about you firing in my direction with the shotgun. It is a big target. Actually, is it large? What's the size category of this thing? Large. Large. Okay. Just curious.

And then for my final thing, I'm just going to commanding presence until we issued it. again. It's not your turn. This is. I held my turn. I held my turn. I think you can hold an action, not your entire turn. That's true. Yeah. Oh, well, I would have. Okay. I'm sorry. I just. I like you just, yeah. This thing is, it's going to run up. And that box shot or whatever is just going to to kind of like really hit bones. and stuff like that, but not penetrate anything inward. And it is going to stop. And it looks like its mass wants to carry it forward. So it has to slam on the brakes.

And its tail is going to swing right over its head and try to sting into Ruby. Okay. Sting in the tail. Love it. Not sure I love it. I love it when it goes like that. Oh. Oh, that's a 10. Oh, no. It's not going to hit. Okay. Hang on. Would you consider that tale a melee weapon? It's a melee weapon attack. I, what specifically hit me? What does it say? This is not going to work, but I'm going to try it for a second. I'm going to just hear me out. I have a combat maneuver. When a creature misses you with a melee weapon attack against you, you can use your reaction to, flip it out of the creature's hands.

It's attached to it. I'm just saying maybe she could grab onto the thing. Fine. Wouldn't that be cool to take the tail though? It's a tail. It's kind of attached to it. It's kind of like it. It's not. No. Right. But here's the thing. If we did that, then I could do that to you and just rip off your arm. That's fair. I'm just trying to have fun here. I'm not trying to. I'm not trying to make me miserable. I'm... I... Fine. I have no other reaction. So, good. What is she going to do? She can't really do anything here at all as a reaction. So that's it. Well, it's going to claw it, yeah.

Oh, man. Are claws melee weapons? Just asking. No reason. I'm going to trim its nails. Just it's. Yeah. 20. 20 will hit. That is 18 piercing damage. So we'll miss with the tail and just kind of rake you with its claws. These things are nasty. Ow. Ah. Hmm. That'll be the end of its turn. And that's the end of round one. Yes. All right. Oh, shit. Oh, devil's up first. Well, do we still get that? Do we still get those expertise for initiative? Oh, wait, what the fuck? Wait, what? Hold on a second. You had rolled and then we all rolled after. You thought it was cool. It all rolls at the same time.

I don't understand how the... Yeah, it's always done that when I re-roll. Oh, okay. Hold on. Let's read. I didn't know. Wait, wait, wait. What do you mean you click the button? Next to Ruby over in the combat tracker and had a little D20, so I clicked it because that's what you had to do for an initiative. Yeah, when you reset the round, we get a moment or we can click the initiative. I didn't realize it was going to happen automatically. So we can, you can do that. I didn't click on it, no. Yeah, so. No. No. We're just doing it over. Yeah, do it over. No, I like my name.

Do it over. I, I do it. As you're resetting it, we have a moment to press the bud. Yeah, that's what happened. Oh, it's timed out now. That's new. I hate that. I want my 19 back. Well, I want my whole. No, I guess. I... Jeez. Ruby, you're up. All right, so initiative was rolled. I'm going to now use my quick draw for the, for the, for the one and only time during this encounter to get an attack against this thingy. She's going to get clawed by it. Ow, what the? And she's just going to wrist ballista right up in its face and try to shoot. So I'm sure you're going to tell me as a monk, this doesn't matter.

But it is a ranged weapon you're firing adjacent to it. Does that matter? As a monk, it would. But as my gunslinger background. Sure. Never mind. It's fine. I just have to ask if the rules apply. Every once in a while, just got to ask. They just have a specialized rule that they all have special cutouts for all of you. So I feel stupid asking, but I got to ask. That is why I picked this background. I wanted to make sure at some point she could use these types of things. So whenever she used a range, this kind of gun slinger, which is her wrist bolista, she can use it as in melee range with no decision.

So it's John wiki. It's like gung-foo. Yeah. In fact, that's exactly... Okay. That's exactly what it says in the description, in fact. All right. Um... It's John wiki. Oh. Well, shit. That was a great one. Well, there you go. Right. Well, shit. Can I get D6? You sure can. You sure can. We're not rolling on the table. So that's just a miss. All right. Great. Miss. All right. So that brings us to actually her first move, her first attack. So now she's just going to go forward again. Pshu-p-choo. Man, not easy. 19. Just hits. Oh, thank goodness. Okay. Bam. What damage? What is that?

Big boy with a big AC. That's 11 damage. Great. All right. Shoot. Okay. Second attack, official. Let's try it one more time. This thing's targeted. I have an expertise dial on each one, right? Yeah, because it's a marked. It's a marked. That's what I meant. Not targeting it. She should be getting a D4. Okay. I'm going to add it on there for this one. Is that for every attack for everybody? Or until it's not? Until my next turn. Yeah. Ah, okay. That is an 18. That is going to miss. Sadly. All right. All right. That's all. she's going to be able to do. If she runs away, she's going to probably get an opportunity attack.

So, right? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yes, close. I don't want that. I don't want that. I don't want that tail coming back around for any reason. So she's going to need some help over here. Loggins up. Loggerin's up. Loggerin's eyes. I'm coming. You got to have to wait. That's how close he gets. Which means I have to use my bonus action to unplant my tower shield. Oh, yeah. And now. It's like moving day. I don't know. It really is. I don't know. I thought it really thought it was going to come to me. You guys got to stay behind me from now on. I did. For once. We're going to... Ruby was just tantalizingly close.

We're in commanding presence this time to get Ruby. Ruby hit it again. Keep trying. Yes, sir. Another bolt. Should be... I'm going to say it should be a D4 on that, but it doesn't matter. Damn. Well, you're old to three. That's respectable. I can't reload my gun and I can't reach it. So I'm going to fucking throw an axe at it. I should be the most devastating attack. Right. Between the eyes. Right into it's goo. Right in the goo. Not in the goo. Not my goo. Like this. Fuck. Oh, fuck. Wow. Holy shit. That's not. You did an aim for the goo. No. As a three for a total of 10.

It's going to miss. These are guys. Yeah. I just imagine, too, it's like all this stuff is like axes and arrows. Like, it's hitting it, but it's just like sticking in. Yeah, it's not. Right. Right. That's all I can do. I'll pass the turn. Now, there, you're up. Okay. Okay. My fear is going to start running that way and then partway through her run. She's going to activate the Velocistring boots that Ruby gave her to activating the charge action to get all the way behind it. Let me take off the ruler and actually grab my token. And then she'll be behind it. And with the charge action, I can make an attack at the end of my charge.

So she will flip out her Assassin's blade that's hidden in her glove and try to stab it. And the Assassin's Blade, as per usual, is coated in Black Blade the first attack. She just always has poison ready. And then I get a D4 for flanking. 19 hits. Yes. So it's 17 piercing damage and 12 poison damage from Blackblade. I'm sure he has a resistance or an immunity to poison. But it just always coded on the first attack. Actually, duh. Well, hold on. Damage immunities. Fire and poison. Shit. I don't know why I told you fire. I shouldn't have told you fire. Sorry. Camara.

I think that's what you were measuring. I kind of already guessed, but that's kind of like Camer. would go for. That's what he's built to do. That was my action. Yeah, that was actually my action and movement. Let me look over my bonus actions real fast. You know, just for my bonus actions real fast. You know, just for pizzazz. I'm going to use my bonus. to create, disappear to make the mind blade appear. Okay. Just as she's standing there. It's ready. Pazazaz, she says. But that's my turn. Okay. Bone devil. Huh. Let's flick a tail back towards Nythera. Hmm. Oh. Oh, 16's probably.

It gets you, right? It hits. I'm 15. Oh, my. I'm poisoned. I'm poisoned. Oh, no. That's my greatest weakness. Can I get a DC? Oh, shit. Give me a DC-15 Constitution saving throw, please. Or your poison. for a minute. Okay. Oh, you're fine. That's a 20. Jesus. 19 damage is going to bring you almost down to half. That's not great. Yeah, yeah. Pretty glass cannon. And let's do claws to Ruby. Let's fucking get in there. Go on. Yeah. Go on. Yeah. Go for it. Holy shit. Oh, oh. Oh. That's not good. That's a crit. Not happy about that. Not rolling the crit table, but that is 36 piercing damage and that'll knock Ruby out.

She's out. She slumps to that outcropping. But, don't. Come here, you're up. Yeah. Cool. Yeah. Okay. Okay. You will notice a decent amount of that green goo is... Coopin? It's goopin. Like, you're doing damage. Okay. I can't make it to Ruby on this turn. So I think Kimera's been preparing a fireball while everyone's like attacking. As soon as Ruby was like, need some help here. He was like taking a stance and like conjuring flame into his hand as everyone sort of ran forward. And he is going to cast a fireball. Um, sort of like, uh, behind this bone demon. You're going to cast a fireball?

Yes. It's a firm to fire. I said he was immune to fire. I let that slip. I don't want you to waste a fireball. Oh, he's a, he's a immune. Oh, I see. A immune. Yeah. Yeah. Gotcha. Gotcha. Gotcha. I thought you're just being hardheaded. I was like, all right. Shit. Okay. Well, I think Kamira knows something, a little something about demons. Maybe not about this demon, obviously. But, okay. I saw you as you were starting to get fire together. It's a muse of poison as I'm running by. I mean, it's a mute to fire in poison. It's a mute to fire in poison. Okay, well, I'm going to just do, we're just going to do some Eldridge raise to it again.

So let's do that. I'll just trade the first. No expertise, die right, Jamison. Not now, no. No, it had to fall off unfortunately. Gotcha. Yeah, Ruby's not carrying her weight, so. Oh, fuck. Here's the first. A 5 for total of 13. Yeah. And here's the second. I forgot to add two, though I don't think 15 hits. Oh, 20 definitely hits. 20? 20? Okay. So that'll be 10 damage. 10 damage in all. That... Got it. That will bloody the bone devil. As a result of being blooded. It has these bony wings, and it's going to reach back and just kind of break off a portion of this. And it's going to...

It looks like it's unsheathing a weapon, and he's got this giant bone spear blade thing. Almost halberty-ish. And he's going to take a... Actually, he's going to throw it right at chimera. Okay. Okay. Oh, God, that was almost a 20. A, 22? Yeah. That hits for sure. Can I get a dexterity saving throw, please? Yeah, okay. That's one of my notoriously really good ones. Dex, there you are. Seving throw, here we go. On my tippy toes! Not fine. So this thing is going to go straight through your leg and into the round. So it's going to hit you and then it's going to restrain you, too.

And you could free yourself from that by ripping away from it and doing damage to yourself, or you could use an action and get it off of you. You'll pull it out. Yeah. Gotcha. So Chimera starts running towards Ruby, because that's what he was planning to do. And this bone spur just comes out and stabs him in the leg. and just like pins him right there. And he's like, Ruby! And that's my turn. God. That is the end of round two. Re-rolling. Oh, that's so weird. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Chimera 6, Ruby 6, bone devil, 5, Nysheera 5, Logrin 4. We still get those expertise die, right?

We still believe it. Yeah. Go for one. Okay. Oh. Okay. Okay. Just one. It's one. All right. Everybody give me your results. I saw chimeras. That's a one. Mm-hmm. Nitheras was a one. No, four. High roller with a total of eight. Ruby got a two. Ruby, you're up first. Great. And I get a saving throw plates. Oh, I was going to as a result. Reaction. All right, yes. Actually, you know, this, do I just go? Yeah. Where do I click it? Where do I go? What do I do? What do I do? If you hover over your picture? Hit the skull. Oh. It's a skull. And then automatically rolls. Fine. Did something come up?

Nope. I clicked it. I did it. You clicked the skull in the middle of the checkmark an X. I sure did. And it came up with a little box to click a thing. Oh. And I clicked the thing. Just give me a 20. Just give me a D20. Yeah. It's just a 20. There's a little glitch. It looks like. Yep. That's okay. That's a crit. You get to spend a hit die. Bytherian law. Thank you. My fairian law. My fairian law is decreed. You shall have a hitter. It's the only area where we're more lenient than D&D's base rules. What is my hit die, actually? It's a D8. D8. Thank you. Mm-hmm. Oh. Oh. Well, you get three hit points back because of your con score.

And you get to take a turn. Oh, my God. She's going to. She's going to sit up slightly. You're like, oh, my God. And this thing is still right there. She's just one more right in its face. Like what the? Almost does it. Like she doesn't even know what she's doing. It's just like a muscle memory. I wonder if it's a bony ass because it's got to be what you're firing into. As it just wraps around again. Yes. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. With a tail that hefty, it has to have some chunk back there. Yeah, I guess so. I almost felt seen for a second. I'm going to. Ruby can add one expertise die to any of her attack roles or anything.

I'm just going to add that one to this one. Yep. Huh? 24. Holy hell. That'll hit. Wonderful. Good. Piercing damage. Great. Well, guess what? What? When I hit a creature with a melee, A melee, sorry. When I hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, I can spend one exertion to force the target to make a constitution saving throw. On a failed, save, the target is stunned. A stunning strike. It was a ranged attack, though. No. It says ranged attack. Ranged attack, except I'm right next to him, and that doesn't count anymore. Because it's a melee. Right? No. No. Still a ranged attack.

You just don't get disadvantaged for it. Okay, yeah. You're right. I always think about it. I'm sorry. I always think about it being a melee attack. You're right. It is a ranged attack. It's just without disadvantage. Okay. Fair enough. I'm trying to do cool things. No, I know. I know. I love you, baby. I know. I know. All right. Well. That's it. Okay. Oh, wait. No, I can do two attacks. I'm going to do another one. I forgot. I have double a time. Apologies. Do a melee this time. This is like this time. I'll stop shooting and punch it. Actually. I genuinely thought you're going to tell me, while my range can count as melee and my melee can count as range and I was just going to punch my monitor.

I was just wrong. There's no words mean anything. That's effectively what the class does to be, I mean. That's the idea. You can make ranged melee attacks, so. Everything's Dr. Seuss. whatever. It does. Here we go. I'm just going to try to punch it. She's going to she's going to hit it and then she's going to try to just smash with her fist. Oh, that's smashes. 25. That's seven bludgeoning damage. Okay, great. Well, when I hit a creature with a melee weapon attack. I can spend one exertion. Is this correct or not correct? No, that's a melee attack. You're going to be.

You're going to. Thank God. All right, I'm forcing a Constitution saving throw. Let's see if it fails, it's stunned. If not. What am I shooting for? Constitution saving throw, I have no idea. What's your maneuver to do you say? It's 17. Yeah, 17. Oh, wow. Oh, fuck. Hello. Oh, my God. Yeah, I'm fine. 24. Yeah. Good try, though. I tried. All right, she's done. She ain't moving anywhere because she's not going to get an opportunity attack. Logrin. Okay. Logren is going to yell something foul at Ruby about getting up in this thing's face before he was ready. And that's going to count as a reaction.

It's a slur. It's a slur. It's cool when Walker says it. Ruby understands. Yeah. He's a kind of a work. Warf tension, you know. Permission to use the term. So, Ruby can make a 1D8 plus my martial level, so 1D8 plus 6, you can heal. Oh. That is the one non-potion-based healing we any of us has. Yeah. 1.8 plus 6. 1.8 plus 6. There we go. 7 plus 6, which is 13 more. It's so rarely it's so bad that you have to use that. I mostly use it for chat. I call it the chat words that I think that I will. I'll still slur. I'll still slurs. Thank you. So now. Those slurs, that's how she knows you love her.

It is true. Yeah. Oh, no. Love some. 15 feet. I run. And he is running. He's fucking running. Oh, so fast. I want to use double tackle. Choose an ally you can see. They can use their reaction to move up to 20 feet to be adjacent to a creature. You're designated as long as you move at least 20 feet. We did talk about what this when I took it. And we said that my full movement would be okay. And both you and your ally are adjacent to the creature. It makes a strength saving throw or is not. Prone. Huh. Alternatively, you and your ally most may both choose to go prone to force the creature to fail its save.

So... That's a big risk. Yes. But Nithera goes before the demon, so I think if Ruby and I tackle this thing to the ground. As long as you roll well on the next thing, it might stand up beforehand, then it gets advantage on melee attacks. But it would also be grappled. No, I can grapple it once it's on the ground as a bonus action. So this is your action. This would be an action to do the double tackle. You know what? I want to wait until I have more in the tank. So we're just going to run up and we're just going to hit it, I think. Okay. That's fair. We will run up.

We will attack it with the warhammer, and it will look like this. Oh. That's a 20-6. 26. 5 damage. I'm going to commanding presence, 9th era. To hit it again, please. Okay. Yes, sir. Don't forget you to D6 For flanking Doing like that Do do do do do do do do do Oh I guess I could have done a plank What I'm thinking? Oh That is a fit one That gives me inspiration That does Can I get A D6 please? Nope, we're not rolling on table tonight No, no table. Please. Yeah. I'll take it. And as a free action to finish my turn, I'm planting my fucking tower shield. Good, you needed AC.

I'm glad. That's my turn. Hey, Mira. Is me? For real? I will. What is that? All right. I believe. you. I really want to try. I just. Guys, I think. You know what we're always a problem. Never but a problem I couldn't fireball. Well, fuck me running still. Didn't ask how big the room was. I said, I cast fireball. I didn't ask it's immunities. I want to ask. Fireball. When I want your opinion, I'll fireball it. Okay, I am going to... How much damage is it to rip this thing out of my leg? It is 2D6. Yikes. An appropriate amount of damage to rent it in a lot of your leg. Appropriate.

Yes, that does feel appropriate. I'm going to do it. Oh, gosh. Okay. Kimera is just going to... I mean, he sees Ruby's up. That's great. But he needs... He wants to get over there. So he's going to like just like yank himself. Pull this, like grab the top of this thing and just like... Like pull himself up over it and get off of it. Oh. How many roll 2D6? Are you going to do? do that I think so you're doing the damage to yourself right so oh shit nine nine I'm damn damage and then I'm gonna go well bloody you that's cool I love that as a result of being buddy yeah as a result of being bloody yeah is a result and being blood I am gonna um this is gonna sound dumb so please don't judge me where can you see your speed I think it's 30 but I don't know.

It should be listed there for some reason. It's not. Yeah. Interesting. Huh. These little quirks we're finding tonight. Yeah. Weird shit. Like, weird. All right. I'll look into that. I mean, I get to the task. I think it's, I think it's 30. That sounds right in my head. It's probably 30. Yeah. I'm going to move up here and we're going to fire some LGJ raise on to our good bony-buddy. Let's see how that goes. I'll portray the first. Boom. Go to curse. Damage. Oh, that's not going to hit. 19 hits. Just hits. Oh. Hell yes. All right. Well, force damage. 14. Actually, 14. I don't know why I can't add the damage to the role, but.

But yeah, 14 damage. And then we're going to one more again. One more again. Here we go. So he's going to limp over here. Pow, pal, climb up this thing, trying to get over to where Ruby is, firing these elder trays. And... Money, one hits. Two damage, but it's really four. We doubled it. Yes. Feel better. Thank you. Thank you for saying it like that. That makes me feel a lot. Very generous. It's literally twice as much. It's crazy. We're 200% more. Yeah. Well, now I'm a wreck. So that's great. 200% bigger. I'm bigger. I'm here. Got him right in the bones, too. He's ain't no dry bones.

He's a wet bone. Very goopy bones. It's like a bone covered in Nickelodeon Gack. Now, that's too viscous. We need a, we need a, we need a, we need a slippier, slipperier green. We need a, you can't do that on television. A shower gel. A shower gel. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Like an aloe. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's like also. It's very soothing. Okay. So I did a little bit of research in between turns just to make sure I could do this. I'm going to be using two maneuvers. I was looking at the maneuvers in combat and it's based upon your exertion pool. And as long as you're not using like an action action, it's, I'm using a bonus action and then an action maneuver.

Yeah, you're good. It's basically the same as spellcasting. Okay. And I have the pool available. So, remember that Zaz's last turn? I'm taking advantage of that. So she made the mind blade appear. And so I'm going to actually, she's actually going to start flipping it back and forth between her hands. And what I'm doing is I'm going to activate agile faint, which is I like juke left and right, throw sand or whatever. But basically, he doesn't know where the attack's coming from. So I get advantage on my next attack. And then with that, I'm going to do perplexing. flurry, she's going to flip the Mind Blade back and forth until it's in her dominant hand and just stab twice with it really fast.

So she'll get advantage on her next attack and then disadvantage on all attacks against her until her next turn. So that is what I will be doing. It's my blade. Did we figure out the Mind Blades damage to die? We're like insanely off or something. I forget. I think we edited it. It was like plus 20 and I think you changed it to Yeah, that's... Yes. Yes. So it's like you're always swinging 40-some-odd damage with your office. Yeah. That's what... Okay, got it. Yes. We should probably go back and read to... I'm just going to add it back in. Yeah. Who will notice? Right.

It's continuity, really. We just... Yeah. Oh, we'll drop a four to take a 25. That is 20 psychic damage. It's not immune to... A psychic damage, is it? No. Okay. And then I do it again. Drop a 7 to take a 15. That is 23. You are going to shank this thing. The first one is going to get a good, like a good, like a good gooey bit. But the second one, you kind of honed in. You've dialed in and you're going to stab this thing right where its heart is center, center of its chest, but through its back as it's looking at Ruby and And that will kill this fucking thing.

Yes. That glow will fade instantly. No, you cannot animate dead. Okay. It's a humanoid creature. I know. I know. Usually there's a soul involved in a, but this thing is just going to just, just that, almost like, almost like a firework going off. But it's a little ethereal. And that glow is just going to subside. and a pile of bones. Rip cages as far as the eye can see. Everybody gets one. Arm cages, leg cages. Yeah. Like there's going to jump over it and jump to Ruby. Are you okay? Like helping her get up. I mean, I've been better. That thing sucked. She's looking at herself.

She's realizing that she's got some straps that have been ripped and she's bleeding. I'm fine. I just, I'll be okay. God. Thanks for that, though. You got some really good heads in. Even unconscious. I don't even know what I was doing. Hey, thanks for Rok Steady. She's going to look at Loggering. We're going to have to have a talk about you running ahead of me like that. We can't keep doing. You can't knock something loose in your head eventually. How many times we talked about that? It's never changed anything. But sure, yeah, we can talk. I'm going to walk up to this thing and just some of it, some of its goop, some of its ethereal, firework is going to suck up in a shadowy hand is just going to sort of like pull it close to his chest.

Right, because it was cursed. Yeah. Oh. Get that delicious healing. Yeah. That's it. I imagine it's minty. Yeah. A little a spearmint. A little aloe. I imagine. Like eating a York peppermint patty of a day. In the winter. I imagine there's a quiet moment when everybody's like putting themselves back together and Lagerin's just kind of leaning on his shield. And looking out, he's not even looking at these fucking miners, but he's kind of like looking out at the night and it's snowing. Like, you know, sometimes I'm just kind of think we should just find a quiet place and start a business or something.

What would be the fun of that? Isn't that what Stone Sunder is for? You're right. I forgot how much fun we were having. You're right. I forgot how much fun we were having. You're right. Everyone give yourself 2,500 XP, please. I can't do that math. Here I. Calculator. 15, 3, 3, 2, plus 2,500. It's 17-8-3-2. Except for you. Ian. Yeah. What do you get? Oh, hang on. 25-100. 8168. Ian, you have 19,832 total. Thank you. Thank you. Mm-hmm. Guys, I think that's a good time for us to stop for the evening. Woof.
