you know, a few hundred feet deeper into this cavern. Because you can't go back up the, you know, that that would be very difficult. But the last thing we did tackle was this rhythmic thumping every once in a while.

Kind of a, kind of a, you know, it's very gentle, but it's almost like a pushing of air pressure. Like you can kind of like feel it. And a bit of a like a, like a telltile.

But I think, yeah, he's kind of like pretty mad. Yeah, he was pretty upset. He kind of read the room.

It was like, okay, maybe it's not the best time to say I want to do this one more time.

But it makes you feel any better. The bone devils are dead. So technically you completed your mission.

I think I set up the scene where in ninthira did a slight a hand check so the manacol was magically off of Khaira. And then she was laying down on the ledge, just looking up at the water rushing overhead into the chasm. And then she's going to sit up slowly and look around. and look to Guymira misgaging that his look in seeing as apprehension or something instead of like excitement and say to him, I'm sorry that I basically chained you to me, but I just didn't want us to get separated.

I think you did exactly what you needed to do. If you're going to put me in manacles, I trust you have a reason to do it. Normally, I have to pay for that kind of treatment.

And then, Nathan is going to look around? Looking to Logren, is everybody okay?

Yeah, Logren's been mostly solution-oriented in this moment, right? He had a little bit of a rant about what he's going to do to the format once we get out of here. And then he's been mostly just like trying to figure out a way to go back, right?

He's looking up at this thing where all this water's cascading over and it's still splashing everywhere. And he can barely, like, see up there, never mind, solve the engineering problem that would take to get them all up there. But he's trying to because he needs to go back that way.

So you'd probably have to ask that question more than once to really get his attention. But once you do, I think it pulls him back to the moment. He kind of looks around and he realizes that, oh, like, we are actually pretty banged up, right?

Like, Logrin's a little hurt, and I think Nithira is a little hurt. But, like, it'll kind of return to him that, like, Ruby went down and Camero went down twice.

she's propping herself up a little bit. Yeah. Yeah. So he'll go over to her and a little bit of a huddle just between the two of them just because they've done this before. But he'll, he'll kind of like pull her down a little bit towards his level and be like, don't lie to me, Ruby.

And while Ruby and Logren are having that moment, Nythera is going to, like, physically check over Kymyra. Like, first look at his wrist and see that it's rub raw and then take out of her pack. She's going to hand you one of her healing potions, even though you probably have some, too, but she has to make sure you're okay.

So this looks to be a natural cavern so far. It doesn't, you're not getting to any crafted stone yet. So I imagine you're kind of cautiously going, going around the corner once you get to the end of this pretty long natural corridor here.

And you're going to break to the left. And you can feel that there's a slight incline. So that's a good start.

It's not, you know, who knows where that'll lead. But you're going to walk for about 10 minutes. And that's rum, that dumping is much less rhythmic now.

It's becoming intermediate. It's becoming intermittent, that is. It's slowing down.

And when it happens, it's going to feel stronger. You're going to, you're getting to a source. Like, it's like, okay, okay.

So this is like a ripple. You can kind of feel the fur. You are on the outskirts of it.

And as you get closer, it is slower, but it's stronger. and that arcane pole is going to be so much more profound. This is castors who don't study magic, but feel magic, you know, warlocks, sorcerers, endurance, things like that.

They can pick up on the age of magic sometimes. And especially warlocks and sorcerers kind of dig, you know, if it's magic that, if it's magic that, has been in use that is still around. That means it stood the test of time, which means this is big magic.

Like, this is, whatever, this was probably something brutal and, and, and chaotic. And that's probably what Chimer is picking up on, right? That this, maybe this was the site of some huge battle.

Maybe you're not exactly sure. But like, as you get closer to it, It's like, oh, okay. There's a lovely bouquet.

Like, you're just kind of picking up on that. And then eventually, you're going to see these. Actually, give me a perception check.

Those who have dark vision, absolutely can see in the dark. For whatever footage that it gives you, but it's monochrome. It's black and white.

It is shades of gray. You kind of go colorblind. You know.

And this will be the case. except you're going to see these these square pylons jutting out it almost looks like their bars placed into the ground and they look like they look like they're made of like an alloy like metal but there's there is water dripping onto them every once in a while, and a loose piece of stone. And the loose piece of stone, when it hits one of these, you're going to feel that thump again.

But you're going to see a color. And there is a kind of a red, vainy reaction in this alloy. Each time it happens.

And that arcane, you're going to see the source of this. It's like, that is it. That whatever that is, that is it.

And to see color in the dark when you're using dark vision is, it's very, very strange. So every time something hits these, you could tell depending on the size and the velocity that it's hitting. Like everyone's small, there'll be a drip and it's just a very, very, almost like a pushing of air.

Like you just kind of feel pressure. But when a big chunk of stone hits it, Boom.

It's just like, it's just like pillars of stuff that are, are they like converging to some kind of point or anything?

What it looks like, it looks like, it looks like, it looks like, it almost looks like they're growing out of the wall. Like, they're placed in the floor, but some of them are bent. Like, almost one of two things have happened.

Either there was a cave in a long time ago and kind of crushed these or something happened or they were built that way to kind of contour to the wall. But you can see where some of these are just kind of like, there's just a sliver of them sticking out. And it's just cave wall.

It almost looks like the cave swallowed them. And you could tell that this, it looks like this used to be kind of a big open cavern. But something happened.

And it's a little closed off. But you're also going to see stonework. There's stonework at the base of each one of these pillars.

So primordial is pretty much what it sounds. It is an ancient language kind of spoken by beings of magic for the most part. We're talking like arch sorcerers or elementals or you know what I mean?

Like, you don't really recognize it. And right off the bat, you could tell that this, while purposeful, isn't, it's practical, not elegant. So it's not dwarish.

It is functional. It is not flashy. It is built for a purpose. But that's not what catches your eye. What catches your eye is there was definitely some kind of cave in here.

And opposite these pillars, you're going to kind of look to the wall here. There is a large circular pedestal. And there's like this strange archway over top of it.

It almost looks like a doorway. Like it's just in the middle of this circular dais. But there's some rock in the way.

Like there's some uncarved cave rock type stuff. You'd have to kind of unbarricate it. But that also etched in primordial.
